The night, the very loud scream of a woman echoed in that place, and her voice sounded as if she was in terrible pain, which is most common during labor.

Her screams were so loud that in the silence of the night, the sound traveled far, and everyone who heard it was terrified, for they had perhaps never heard such terrible screams.

It was a full moon night, and tonight was also a lunar eclipse, which occurs only once every few years.

Just then, there was a banging sound at a house door. As a 60-year-old woman opened the door, Budhua stood outside, panting, and said breathlessly, "Hurry, Manjari Kaki... Revati has started labor and it's gotten very bad." Manjari Kaki glanced at the moon and said, "Oh God! The eclipse is about to start, and for a child to be born at such a time... I don't know what will happen." Saying this, she ran off with Budhua without even wearing her sandals.

    **********

    On the other side;

The terrible, pain-filled screams of a woman echoed in that room, and it was no ordinary room. It was the largest and most comfortable room in the royal palace, but now, Queen Kadambari, lying on the bed, was groaning in labor, and a few maids stood around, holding her hand tightly. Beside her head, Surabhi, the Queen's most trusted maid, was stroking her hair.

For the past half hour, the Queen had been screaming in pain like this, and there was no improvement in her condition, nor any sign of the baby's birth. The royal physician also stood outside the room, while the midwife and other women inside were preparing for the child's birth.

King Mahendrapratap also paced restlessly outside the room, venting his anger on the other servants, as he could no longer bear the Queen's screams. He shouted angrily at the royal physician and the other servants, "Who was sent to call Manjari Ma? Why hasn't she arrived yet? I trust only her with the Queen and my unborn child."

None of the servants dared to speak, so a trusted minister of the king stepped forward and replied, "Forgive me, Your Majesty... but the village road is quite far from the royal palace, and one has to cross the river. It will take time for Manjari Kaki to arrive, but until then..."

"How much time... we don't have time! If anything happens to our child or the Queen, I will sentence you all to death." The King, again venting his anger on everyone, said, and the minister bowed his head, as he had no other recourse.

The King, standing outside the Queen's chamber, was shouting angrily at everyone. Just then, a commotion at the palace gates drew everyone's attention. A hunched, elderly man wearing a black cloak-like garment was trying to enter. The guards and soldiers at the gate stopped him, and he shouted loudly, calling out the King's name, "Your Majesty! I have come to help you. I know both the Queen and your unborn child are in danger, but I can save their lives."

The man looked very old, with many wrinkles on his face, and he walked with a strange stoop. His eyes were an unusual grayish color, and there was a healed scar near the corner of his eye, making his face quite frightening.

Hearing this, everyone looked at him in surprise, as the man showed no fear of losing his own life and had spoken such a bold statement. The most surprising thing was how he knew about this.

The King was also surprised by his words and told the soldiers, "Let him in..."

As soon as the King spoke, the soldiers moved aside, and the man, still stooping, walked into the palace. The King walked towards him, accompanied by his minister, bodyguards, and some soldiers, as the man looked very strange.

The King, grinding his teeth in anger, said, "Who are you, and how dare you enter my palace and speak such ominous words against my Queen and child?"

Seeing the King's anger, the old, hunched man joined his hands and said, "Forgive me, Your Majesty! But I am only speaking the truth, and I do not wish them any harm, for I have come only to save their lives. With me here, the Queen and your unborn child will be unharmed."

The King asked in a stern voice, "How do you know it's a boy or a girl? Who are you, and how can you save their lives..." The King was utterly bewildered by the man's mysterious words.

"Your Majesty, my name is Bhanu, and by the grace of my master, I reach wherever I am needed. That is why I have come here to help you. There is no time for explanations now. Please take this miraculous herb and place it in the Queen's mouth. This will greatly reduce her pain, and the child's birth will also be smooth." The man took out something that looked like a dried herb from his pouch and presented it to the King.

Hearing the man's words, the King looked at him for a moment, then glanced at his minister and everyone standing beside him. They all gestured to the King, signaling their suspicion of the man.

The King himself did not trust the man, so he did not take the herb from him. Looking at him with suspicion, he asked, "But how can I believe you? What if you are an enemy who has come to kill the Queen? And what is this that will fix everything?"

Before the old, hunched man, Bhanu, could answer the King's question, a maid rushed in, bowed her head, and said to the King, "Your Majesty! The Queen's pain has worsened, and due to immense suffering, she has fainted. None of the physician's medicines are working on her."

Upon hearing this, the King's face showed clear panic, and he didn't know what to do at that moment, as nothing was in his control. If all the physicians, midwives, and servants of the palace could do nothing, what could the King do?

While the King was greatly distressed by this news, a look of satisfaction appeared on the face of the old, hunched man, Bhanu. He again offered the herb to the King and said, "Your Majesty! You are still thinking. This is not a time for thinking. Take this and tell this maid to place this herb under the Queen's tongue... Doing so will cause no harm, and the Queen and your child will be completely safe. Trust me, and I will stay here until your child is safely born, so you can trust me."

Hearing Bhanu's words, the King looked him up and down, but then his gaze fell on the herb in his hand. For some reason, the King felt as if that herb would truly work, and that the old man had come here as an angel to save the lives of his Queen and unborn child.

So, the King immediately nodded his head, took the herb from his hand, gave it to the maid, and told her the same thing. On the King's orders, the maid took the herb and hurried towards the Queen's chamber.

The King looked at Bhanu and said, "Whether your words are true or not will be proven now, but until then, you will not go anywhere from here."

Bhanu looked around; all the soldiers were standing around him, so he had no other choice. Agreeing to the King's words, he slowly nodded his head and remained standing there. Just then, the full moon shone brightly outside the palace window, and the dark clouds that had obscured it moved away, allowing the moonlight to enter the palace.

The King was very anxious about the birth of his child. Then, after some time, he heard the sound of a baby crying from the room. That sound brought a sense of relief not only to the King but also to the old man's ears.

He also smiled with satisfaction upon hearing the sound. Just then, a maid came out and informed the King, "Congratulations, Your Majesty! It's a daughter, and the Queen is also well now."

Hearing this good news, the King took off the pearl necklace he was wearing and placed it in the maid's hand. With eyes full of gratitude, he looked at the old, hunched man.

After hearing the maid's words, Bhanu said to the King, "Your Majesty! Now you believe my words, don't you? I am your helper, not your enemy..."

"Yes... yes, Bhanu, you have helped me greatly at such a time. I will surely reward you. Tell me, what do you want?" The King said, placing his hand on the hunched man's shoulder with joy.

"Nothing, Your Majesty! I want nothing. I am merely your servant. But if you want to protect your daughter from every future hardship and danger, then always tie this stone around the child's neck. And now, as soon as you see her, put this amulet around her neck." Saying this, Bhanu took out a black thread from his pouch, with a green and black stone tied in the middle. He handed it to the King.

This time, the King took the amulet from his hand without thinking or asking any questions. He smiled and moved towards the Queen's chamber to see his Queen and newborn daughter.

    The story continues...

Whose was the first scream, and will Manjari Kaki reach Thakur's house in time? What do you all think, who is Bhanu and why has he come to help the King? Manjari Kaki entered the house, saying loudly, "What happened to you, Revati? You were absolutely fine until yesterday; I checked on you myself."

The attention of almost everyone there turned to Dai Maa, and as she entered, she saw a man sitting in the next room with his nearly unconscious wife in his lap. Her condition looked very bad, and her stomach seemed to be swollen in an unusual way, and it seemed to be swelling even more.

The village physician was there, holding the woman's hand to feel her pulse, but he couldn't understand why, after such labor pains, Revati had fainted and was vomiting black blood.

"Hey Ragh, what's wrong with Revati? Can you tell me? She doesn't seem to be in a state to speak," Dai Maa said as she entered.

As Dai Maa said this, she felt something sticky on her feet and stopped in her place.

When Manjari Kaki looked down at the sticky thing, she saw black stuff scattered all over the floor. Then she remembered the girl's words that Revati had vomited black blood, and she understood that this was blood. As soon as she took a step forward, the part of her foot where the blood was got very hot very quickly.

Dai Maa didn't understand and quickly cleaned the black blood from her feet and came towards the fainting Revati. Her eyes had turned completely upwards.

Dai Maa started checking her pulse, but just then Revati's eyes suddenly opened, and her white pupils had turned completely black.

From those completely black, demonic eyes, Revati stared at Dai Maa and said something in a low voice that no one present there could hear. And then suddenly, she vomited black blood again, and black blood continuously flowed from her mouth, covering the entire floor.

Seeing this, Dai Maa's eyes widened in amazement, and she said, "This must be the effect of some evil power, and it is doing all this. Forgive me, Ragh, but I may not be able to save Revati, and your child..."

As Dai Maa said this, she looked at Revati's stomach, which was still bulging but had suddenly stopped. And from her mouth, nose, and navel, the same black blood started flowing.

Seeing the baby disappear from her stomach and black blood flowing from Revati's corpse, all the women in the village present there ran out of the house, screaming.

Seeing this, Ragh, Revati's husband, also panicked and lay his wife on the ground and moved away from her because her heartbeat had slowed down, and her breathing had stopped. They understood that she was no longer alive.

Ragh almost screamed, "Revati!!! No.... my child... where is my child, Kaki? And how can a child disappear from the womb like this without being born?"

"This is happening, how... how can this happen? No... no, this can't happen. That curse can't come back," Narendra Thakur, Ragh's father, standing a little aside, almost shouted.

Dai Maa explained to them, "The child was not a child but a form of devil. Be grateful that it disappeared, and you people are saved because Revati's body was weak, and she could not bring the devil's form into the world, and that's why she also died. But what does this black blood mean?"

As Dai Maa said this, she looked at the black blood lying on the ground, which was flowing in one direction. Their eyes followed the black blood and saw it making a long line and flowing towards the back courtyard.

Like this, seeing his wife die before his eyes and his child disappear from her womb, Ragh sat on the ground with a thud, as he had seen both his wife and child die in a mysterious way. He didn't understand what was happening, and his senses seemed to be lost; he couldn't hear or understand anything.

Raghvendra Thakur and his father, Narendra Thakur, are well-known landlords in that village and have a lot of respect in the whole village because they always stand first for the welfare of the village and always help poor and helpless people. But today, they are standing there, helpless and forced by the circumstances.

The women who had run away from there in fear told their husbands, who came there to see and understand the situation. They all gathered there, and the news of the child suddenly disappearing from the womb had spread almost throughout the village. But whoever heard it was in shock because such a thing had come before them for the first time.

Dai Maa understood that this was a game of evil powers, but she didn't know how Ragh and his wife had fallen into these things. However, she had seen Revati's death and couldn't do anything. With great regret, Dai Maa was about to leave when she heard a terrifying laughter and then a loud knocking sound.

It was a kind of sound as if someone was hitting something to open it, a door or a wooden box.

"What kind of sound is this, and where is it coming from?" The villagers present there said, looking around.

One man pointed towards the back courtyard and said, "It's coming from the back courtyard. Let's go and see."

Just as Dai Maa was about to leave, a terrible laughter echoed in their ears, followed immediately by a loud thudding sound.

It was the sound of someone banging to open something, a door or a wooden box...

"What is this sound? Where is it coming from?" the villagers present asked, looking around.

One man pointed towards the backyard, saying, "It's coming from the backyard. Let's go and see."

The sound was so strange that even Thakur Narendra, who had been frozen in his place for so long, stepped forward. Along with a few other villagers and the physician, he headed towards the backyard of the house.

Hearing the sound, Dai Maa stood there, contemplating. She did not go towards the backyard with them because her eyes were fixed on the black blood flowing that way. It was only after the black blood started flowing towards the backyard that this sound began, and it was the same blood that was draining from Revati's body.

As they walked away, all those who stepped on the black blood felt a slight burning sensation in their feet. However, driven by curiosity to find out where the sound was coming from, no one paid much attention and they all proceeded further.

As soon as they reached the courtyard, they saw a large wooden coffin placed there. It looked quite old, yet it wasn't broken or damaged anywhere; not even a scratch. The wood of the coffin seemed very strong, and it had strange demonic skulls and red and black markings on it, which none of them could understand. Yet, the thudding sound was much louder here.

Seeing the girl's box, one villager exclaimed, "What is this strange thing? It's frightening just to look at."

Looking at Thakur, another man said, "Thakur Saheb! How old is this wooden box, and what is it doing here?"

Another man, moving a bit closer and examining the wooden box carefully, said, "It doesn't look like a box, it looks like a coffin, the kind in which dead people are buried. But Thakur Saheb, how is there a sound coming from inside? Have you locked someone inside?"

Seeing the coffin placed in the backyard of his house, Thakur himself was in shock. Replying to the villagers, he said, "I don't know how it got here, and it's not mine. Why would I lock anyone inside?"

The physician, standing among the people, showed great interest in the box. Coming a little closer, he said, "Let's open it and see what's inside. We'll know once we open it."

Hearing the physician, a villager standing very close to the coffin said, "Yes, because the sound is coming from inside. Who knows, someone might be knocking for help."

Since they had gathered in the courtyard, the terrible laughter had stopped, and the thudding sound from inside the coffin was continuous, as if someone was asking to be let out and begging for help.

Thakur found all this very strange, so he stopped them, saying, "No... I don't think we should open it. This doesn't feel right."

Fear was evident on Thakur's face, and beads of sweat appeared on his forehead. He sensed something strange and very wrong, which is why he forbade them from opening the coffin. But all the others looked at Thakur with even more suspicion upon hearing this.

Another villager, going against Thakur, said, "Why, Thakur Saheb, why are you forbidding it? It means you have locked someone inside... Let's open it and see what Thakur is hiding from us?"

"Yes... yes, open it... open this coffin, open it..." all the people present said in one voice. Then two men stepped forward to open it, but they couldn't. Then the village physician also came forward. He looked closely at the markings on the coffin and then, as if he understood something, he placed his hand on the skull marking in the center. The men standing on either side of him pulled one side of the wooden coffin towards them with force, and this time it opened. But all they saw inside the coffin was black smoke, and nothing else.

    Meanwhile;

Some distance away from the village, in the middle of a dense forest, a monk-like ascetic was sitting on a large stone, meditating with his eyes closed. As soon as the coffin opened, he suddenly opened his eyes with a jolt, his eyes wide with surprise. He spoke to himself, "He has returned... the curse... the demon... Despite all my efforts, those evil powers have succeeded in their objective. No... no, why couldn't I stop him? Now he will create destruction as before and try to re-establish his dark empire. No... I won't let this happen."

"What happened, Guruji? Do you need something..." a small five-year-old child, standing before the ascetic with a white beard, mustache, and long hair, asked respectfully.

To the child's question, the ascetic shook his head in the negative and said nothing. The child then quietly left.

After the child left, the ascetic fell into deep thought, his brow furrowed with deep concern.

    ******

    Thakur's backyard;

The hands of the three people who had touched the coffin a short while ago, including the physician, began to burn intensely. Starting from their hands, their entire bodies began to turn black.

A sharp, pain-filled scream escaped the physician's lips, "Ahhh... my hand! What is happening to my hand? It's burning, and my whole body too..."

At that very moment, a lunar eclipse occurred on the shining full moon in the sky. The moonlight that had been spread in the courtyard now became completely dark, and black clouds gathered. Besides this, strange black shadows began to hover all around the house, which no one in the courtyard noticed.

    To be continued...

What do you all think will happen inside that coffin, and how could the baby have disappeared from the womb? Who are these dark forces, and what game are they playing? What curse are Thakur Narendra and the ascetic talking about? To find out, stay tuned and keep reading this story.

The terrifying sound coming from the coffin kept at the back courtyard of the Thakur's house made all the villagers come forward to open the coffin, but those who touched it felt extremely terrible.

Seeing their condition worsen, all those people moved away from the coffin, and then the vaidya started vomiting black blood just like the Thakur's daughter-in-law, and his eyes turned completely black, his body stiffened, turned black, and he fell to the ground, writhing in pain.

The two villagers who had seen this were terrified, and soon their hands, which had touched the coffin, started turning black. Within seconds, they suffered the same fate as the vaidya, vomiting black blood, and eventually died.

Witnessing the sudden death of three people, the rest of the villagers panicked and moved far away from the coffin but didn't leave the courtyard. Suddenly, the coffin opened with a loud noise, and a demonic laughter echoed, "Ha ha ha, I've returned, and no one can stop me now."

As the coffin opened, Thakur and the villagers saw a naked baby inside, who was very small. However, as he stepped out, he started growing rapidly. His eyes and body were completely black, but as he moved out of the coffin, they started returning to normal. He was now 5-6 years old, wearing a black outfit.

The child moved forward, laughing strangely, and people started running back into their homes, terrified. As he advanced, a strange, dark light emanated from his eyes, hitting those standing in front, causing them to fall to the ground, lifeless.

The child's height increased, and his age appeared to grow. His grandfather witnessed everything and stood frozen near the courtyard wall. The child smiled at his grandfather, displaying the same demonic grin, and said, "I'm your grandson, Dada ji! Don't be afraid; I won't harm you. After all, you're my grandfather, ha ha ha."

The grandfather fell to the ground, overwhelmed, and the child entered the house, heading towards those who had run inside.

Inside the house, Raghuvendra was still in shock when he heard a voice, "Father..."

Raghuvendra looked up and saw a 6-7 year old child standing before him, smiling strangely. He felt a lot of negative energy around the child. When he looked into the child's eyes, they appeared completely black, and his body began to turn black as well.

Raghuvendra stood up, shocked, and said, "No, this can't be. It's all my fault. This happened because of me, and my wife died because of me. No, you're not my child; you can't be my child."

The child replied, "Father, I'm your child, and mother wasn't worthy of bringing me into the world. It's good she died."

The child looked at his mother's corpse and then laughed at Raghuvendra, who pushed him away, shouting in shock, and ran into his room, locking it from inside.

The dai ma and others hid behind her as the child continued to laugh. The house door was closed from inside, trapping everyone.

The child moved forward, laughing, and the dai ma shouted, "Stop, you demon! How many lives have you taken? It ends here!"

The child replied, "This is just the beginning. You think you can stop me, old woman?"

The child glared at the dai ma, emitting the same dark, red light from his eyes. Those who had seen his power ran towards the door, opened it, and rushed out.

However, it was too late. The child glanced at them, and they fell to the ground, their bodies stiffening, turning black, and vomiting black blood, just like the others.

As the five people died, the child's age increased by five more years. His eyes were completely black, and his face had a terrifying grin.

That devil child launched the same attack on Dai Maa, but none of his powers had any effect on her. Suddenly, a bright light appeared there, emanating from the amulet tied to Dai Maa's side. The amulet had a small, light green stone in its center, and a strong, golden light was emitted from it, hitting the child's eyes. The child couldn't even look in that direction.

As the golden light enveloped the child, it began to scream at the top of its lungs. The light seemed to control the child's demonic powers. Dai Maa looked at the stone tied to her side and said, "I knew my powers wouldn't be affected, but I'm not sure how long I can keep this up."

The child's terrifying screams filled the room, even reaching Raghuvendra's ears. The sound felt like hot glass being poured into his ears, making it hard for him to tolerate.

Raghuvendra covered his ears tightly, but the screams seemed to come from within him. He fell to his knees, his head bowed, and began to cry out like a madman, "No... it can't be. My child is a demon... No, he's not my child. His mother, Revati, died when he was born. If he has no mother, he'll never spare anyone. And it's all my fault. I don't deserve to live!"

As he spoke, regretful tears streamed down his face. Unable to bear the screams, he stood up and searched his room frantically. When he found a rope, he quickly tied one end to a hook on the ceiling and made a noose with the other end.

He was about to hang himself when he closed his eyes tightly and thought about the day everything started...

    1 year ago;

Raghu and Revati had been married for 7 years, but they had no children, which caused them great distress. However, Raghuvendra's father, Narendra Thakur, wasn't bothered and suggested they adopt a child.

But Raghuvendra insisted on having his own child. Revati also yearned to be a mother. They tried every remedy, fasting, and ritual they were told, but nothing worked.

One day, someone told them about a tree in the forest behind their village. If they circled it seven times on an Amavasya night and fed the first animal they met, their wish would come true within a few days.

Raghuvendra wasn't initially convinced, but he was desperate for a child. He shared the idea with Revati, and they decided to give it a try. That night, at 11 PM, they set out without telling Revati's father.

They brought food for the animal and necessary items. The village was quiet, with only the distant howls of wolves and wild animals breaking the silence.

They walked deeper into the forest, Raghuvendra holding a lantern and Revati carrying a bag of supplies. The path was dark, and they held each other's hands tightly.

After walking a considerable distance, they finally saw the tree in front of them, and their eyes sparkled with joy.

    The story continues...

What do you think about the origin of the stone Dai Maa has, its powers, and how long she can restrain the demonic child? Why is the child killing everyone? What's the secret behind the tree and its connection to the child's demonic nature? Share your thoughts in the comments.

After learning about the tree that fulfills desires from a villager, Raghuvendra and Revati quietly come to the tree in the forest at night without telling their parents.

It's around 12:00 AM, and the sounds of crickets and owls are clearly audible. Bats are also flying around the tree, possibly roosting on it. The tree looks strange, with leaves that are larger and different from other trees. The tree's color is a deep green, which appears black in the night.

As they approach the tree, they feel a negative energy surrounding them. The tree seems to be pulling them in with an invisible force, and they can't stay in place or go back.

Raghuvendra and Revati's desire for a child is strong, and they might not want to go back. They look at the tree with hopeful eyes. Revati asks Raghuvendra, "This tree seems scary; I feel something strange. Do you feel it too?"

Raghuvendra replies, "It's just the darkness and the silence of the night. The forest seems scary at night, which is why no one comes here."

Raghuvendra may be convincing himself as much as Revati. They don't leave without circling the tree and making a wish.

Revati is there for the same reason, so she won't leave without making a wish. She asks Raghuvendra, "What do we do now?"

Raghuvendra explains that they need to wait for 12:00 AM and then tie a red thread around the tree seven times. After that, they will hold hands, close their eyes, and wish for what they came for.

Revati nods in understanding. After waiting, they start their ritual, tying the thread and making their wish. As they think about having a child, they feel something strange, and their eyes widen.

The tree's leaves glow with a red light, and a strange light emanates from the trunk and roots. They take a step back, startled, and bump into someone.

A tall, old man with a hunched back stands before them, wearing all black. His face has wrinkles, and there's a scar above his eyebrow. His eyes glow in the red light.

The old man says, "So, you both came to fulfill your desire. Follow me..."

Raghuvendra and Revati are scared. The old man seems terrifying.

Raghuvendra tries to protect Revati and asks, "Who are you? How did you know why we came?"

The old man seems to have appeared out of nowhere, and the tree's strange behavior adds to their fear.

Revati hides behind Raghuvendra, gripping his shirt. The old man continues, "I'm here to help you fulfill your desire. If you want a child, follow me; otherwise, it will never happen."

The old man beckons them, and the tree's glow fades. He walks slowly, expecting them to follow.

Raghuvendra and Revati exchange uncertain glances.

    The story will continue...

Raghuendra Thakur stood there, a noose around his neck, lost in thought. As he thought through everything, he suddenly felt a shiver run down his body, and everything came flooding back. Overwhelmed with regret, he tightened the noose around his neck and hanged himself.

"Thakur Sahab... take young Thakur with you and leave this place; I won't be able to hold it in much longer," the nurse shouted in a voice filled with pain. Hearing this, Thakur rushed towards his son's room, pounding on the door with both hands. However, there was no response from inside. Growing increasingly panicked,

"Raghu, open the door; we have to leave now. What are you doing inside, Raghu?" Narendra Thakur, Raghu's father, shouted, violently pounding on the door. The door swung open with a loud crash, and it seemed to have been detached because it fell to the ground. A strange, dark smoke filled the room. As they looked up, they saw a lifeless body hanging from the ceiling - it was their own son.

Seeing his son like this, Narendra Thakur shouted, "Raghu... no, my son, nothing can happen to you; you can't leave me... how could you leave me?"

The nurse's attention turned to them, and Narendra rushed inside. He grabbed his son's legs, which were dangling in the air, and placed them on his shoulders. He tried to free his son's neck from the noose.

"This is just the beginning, Thakur. Watch now; you all will die. Ha ha, let her go; she'll die too, old woman!" The children inside the sphere shouted. The nurse's light began to fade, and the sphere started to shrink. The demonic child inside was smiling mischievously.

The nurse was terrified by the demonic voice. She didn't know what to do, realizing she had exhausted her powers and couldn't hold back the evil for much longer.

"Thakur Sahab, come with me; we shouldn't stay here. He'll kill you all," she shouted.

Narendra Thakur stood in the room, holding his son's legs and crying. He had realized his son's body had gone limp, and it was clear that his son had taken his own life.

The nurse gestured for Narendra to come with her. By then, the sphere's light had almost faded. The evil powers were gaining strength. As they stepped out, they heard loud screams, "Yes... yes, kill them; the demon will die when they die."

Seeing the villagers rushing towards their house with torches and lanterns, the nurse asked them what was wrong. They replied that they were going to set the house on fire to kill the demon.

"Yes... set it on fire... set it on fire!" The villagers chanted in unison and rushed towards the house. Flames engulfed the house in no time.

A cold gust of wind brushed against Thakur's body. He felt a strange energy emanating from the burning house.

"No... no... no... the curse can't return. How can this be? While Raghu..." Narendra Thakur muttered, staring at the flames. His eyes were filled with tears and despair.

    Seventeen years later,

"Save... save me, grab my hand, someone! Help, I'm going to fall from here!" A girl hanging on the edge of a cliff, next to a waterfall, screamed at the top of her lungs. Three or four girls stood on a rock above her, peeking down, concerned and trying to reach out to her, but she had slipped and fallen, making it impossible for them to get to her without risking a fall themselves.

One girl, extremely worried, said, "What are we going to do now? How can we save Suchitra?"

Another girl, with a pouty face, replied, "I told her not to come so close to the edge. What was the need?"

The third girl scolded her, "Shut up, Jaya! This isn't the time for such talk. We need to save her. Look around, is there a rope or a tree branch we can use?"

All the girls wore traditional sarees, which were wrapped tightly around their bodies, and seemed to have come to the waterfall to fetch water, as there were some brass and clay pots nearby.

"Save... save me, my hand is slipping, I'm going to fall, Shobha, Jaya... someone save me..." The girl's voice echoed through the area.

    On the other side,

A group of four or five boys and girls, dressed in similar clothes made of thick, coarse fabric, walked through the middle of the forest. Their faces were covered in dust and dirt, and their hair was disheveled. When they heard the voice, they stopped and looked at each other. One of them said, "Did you hear that? Someone's in trouble. We should help."

"It seems we heard it too late. Someone must have already gone to help. Look over there..." One boy pointed, and they saw a figure sprinting in the distance, disappearing from sight in a few moments. The wind carried the sound of dry leaves and soil behind him.

As the dust from his passing reached them, some of the group started coughing and covered their faces.

"Yes, that boy will never learn!" One of them shook his head helplessly.

On the edge of the waterfall,

"Give me your hand, I won't let anything happen to you." A boy, with long, black hair and piercing eyes, stood at the edge of the cliff. He was 20-22 years old, with a strong jawline and chiseled features.

The girls standing there moved back as he approached the edge and stretched out his hand to the girl. She reached out, and he grasped her hand firmly, just as her second hand slipped. He pulled her up with a swift motion, as if she weighed nothing.

The girl screamed at the top of her lungs and closed her eyes tightly, hanging in mid-air between the cliff and the waterfall.

The boy scolded her, "Shut up! I'm saving you, and you're making so much noise in my ears."

The girl was too scared to hear his scolding, and he shouted again, "Shut up, or I'll drop you, and you'll really fall!"

She immediately stopped screaming, and he pulled her up effortlessly. He then pulled her to the side, away from the edge. The girls watched in awe, mesmerized by the young man's beauty and strength. However, he didn't glance at any of them and walked away immediately after saving the girl.

The girls stared after him, their eyes fixed on the spot where he disappeared.

The boy caught her with one hand and easily pulled her back up and then brought her a little to the side from the edge. All the girls were staring at the boy in amazement because he looked like a very handsome young man but the boy didn't even glance at any of those girls and after saving the girl and bringing her there, he didn't even stop there and left immediately.

After he left, all the girls kept staring in the direction he had gone.

"Who was this handsome young man?"

"I don't know, but he doesn't seem to be from our village..."

"Yes, I have seen him for the first time today, I don't know who he is, where he came from, and where he went?"

"I think of him as an angel who came to save my life, if he hadn't come, I might not be alive now."

All the girls talked to each other and then filled water in their pots and left for their village.

    *******

In the middle of the dense forest, there was an ashram and two people who seemed to be of the same age were walking near the large open field in front of the ashram and talking to each other. Both of them seemed to be more than 70 years old, but one of them was dressed in a simple village-style dhoti and kurta, with white mustaches and hair on his face. He was none other than Thakur Narendra Pratap, whose house had seen the birth of that demonic child 17 years ago, and on that day, his entire family was destroyed in one go, and he even saw his house burning in front of his eyes.

The other person walking with him was wearing only a saffron-colored dhoti and a cloth of the same color around his neck, with a Rudraksha garland around his neck and a pendant made of a black thread in between, with long hair, a sage-like bun on his head, and a long beard and mustache, all of which were white. However, his face had a distinct aura.

He was walking with Thakur Narendra Pratap, who looked very troubled, but he himself didn't seem to be troubled at all, with a calm expression on his face.

"Munkinath, do something... he has now reached the village of Ratnagiri near us, it won't take him long to come back here, and I want you to be ready to face him before that!" - Thakur Narendra Pratap said, looking very troubled.

"For 17 years, you have been coming to warn me every week, and I listen to your entire conversation, but until now, that demon hasn't dared to set foot in our village, and I have been sending my warriors, and many times he has been defeated by them, but still, you keep doubting and worrying." - Mahatma Manik Nath, who looked like a sage, said, looking at Thakur Narendra Pratap.

Thakur Narendra Pratap again said, "You don't know the purpose of that demon's birth on earth, he wants to establish his black empire and is doing so, that's why he attacks villages and enslaves those who survive with his black powers, and their numbers are increasing, if we don't do something soon..."

Mahatma Manik Nath looked at Thakur Narendra Pratap and said seriously, "So what will happen? You don't even think of a way to kill him and keep worrying, why are you saving that demon, Narendra? Why don't you let go of your attachment, so that we can destroy him completely."

Thakur Narendra Pratap closed his eyes, took a deep breath, and said, "Because I can't let go... no matter what he is, he's my grandson, and you know the whole story, still, why are you asking such questions? And besides, we don't need to kill him, we need to end the curse on him, or it will never end, if we kill the demon's human form, he will be born again, and this time I don't want to repeat the mistake we made once before."

After hearing Thakur Narendra Pratap's words, Mahatma Manik Nath also fell silent, as if he had fallen into a truth, and now a bit of melancholy was visible on his face, and after walking a little further, both of them sat on a high stone that was large enough for them to sit.

In reality, Thakur Narendra Pratap and Mahatma Manik Nath have been very good friends since their youth, they have received all their education together, and they used to do all their work together. Mahatma Manik Nath now has his own ashram where he is preparing a group of capable and brave boys and girls to fight against black powers.

For the past 17 years, Thakur Narendra Pratap has been visiting him, and Mahatma Manik Nath had already learned about the birth of that demon at his house because he has many divine powers that he acquired through hard penance and some that he received as a blessing from his guru.

    The Mahatma's Ashram;

"Pranam, Guru ji!" A boy of about 20-22 years old bowed and said as he arrived there.

"Pranam, Guru ji, Pranam, Kaka..." Mahatma Maniknath and Narendra Thakur were sitting and talking to each other when a group of 5-6 people arrived. These were the same people who were going together in the forest when one of them saved the girl who was about to fall. They all came forward and touched their feet, bowing to them.

"Live long, my children, and always defeat the dark forces." Mahatma blessed them and said, turning to his friend, "These are the most capable protectors of my ashram, and their team is the strongest. No dark force can defeat them. I have given them all the training I know, and they are experts in learning everything. They will be our greatest weapon against those dark forces..."

"Yes, that devil will never escape. Once they come before us, we are tired of fighting small ghosts, spirits, and souls, aren't we, Sashakt?" The young man, who had saved the girl from falling, said, standing among them.

"Yes, you enjoy everything, and it's a difficult task for us. That's why you're always boasting, Guru ji," another boy standing with him said, looking at Mahatma and complaining about the girl.

The Mahatma smiled and said, "A great challenge is coming for you all very soon. When you face that dark force, your abilities will be tested, and it will be seen who is capable of what."

The Mahatma's words made them all look at each other, and they didn't say anything else. They just bowed to their Guru ji and left.

    On the other side,

The same forest had to be crossed to reach the riverbank, where a large, beautiful, and grand palace was built. King Mahendra Pratap lived there with his royal family and employees.

King Mahendra Pratap was a very powerful ruler in the entire state of Nilanchalpuri. He was the king of that village and all the surrounding villages and princely states, as he had conquered them all and made their rulers his subjects. He was a very powerful king, but now he was old and calm. However, there was something that made his mind very restless.

In the same palace garden, which was very beautiful, colorful flowers of all kinds were blooming, and many trees were there. As it was spring, all the plants and trees were full of greenery. It was noon, and the garden was filled with butterflies, birds, and rabbits, squirrels, and other small animals.

A 16-17-year-old girl, wearing light blue royal clothes, was running after a yellow butterfly. Her long, dark hair reached her knees, and she had gold bangles on her shoulders, a gold cuff on her hand, earrings, a forehead band, and beautiful anklets on her feet.

As she ran through the garden, her anklets made a clear sound, and a gold necklace with a green stone hung around her neck. Her eyes were brown, and her gaze was fixed on the butterfly.

"Princess, stop! Don't go that way. You're not allowed outside the garden..." A servant's loud voice came from behind, but unfortunately, it didn't reach the princess. She had already reached the edge of the garden and was about to step out.

But just as she was about to take another step, the butterfly turned black and fell to the ground, lifeless. The princess was shocked and froze. She looked around, and the leaves, trees, and plants nearby were all black and wilted, as if someone had set them on fire.

The princess realized her mistake and looked around, searching for someone. She shouted loudly, "Is anyone here? Come forward... I always sense that someone is here, but you don't come forward. What have you done to my garden and that butterfly?"

The princess complained and scolded, but there was no response.

    The story will continue...

What do you think is the fear inside the palace? What is the princess calling out for, and will she get an answer? It will be revealed in the next episode...

"Is anyone here, come out... I always sense someone here, but why don't you come forward and what have you done to my garden and you killed that butterfly for no reason." - the princess complained with a pout, but received no reply.

Suddenly, the sky above her head turned completely black, and it seemed as if the weather had changed entirely. However, outside the garden, the rest of the palace remained as beautiful as ever, with a clear sky and shining sun.

The princess saw the dark shadows around her, the same ones she had seen from childhood until now. As she stepped back, her hand brushed against a black tree, and a sharp burning sensation shot through her hand.

"Ah! My hand..." she cried, stepping back. Just then, someone grabbed her other hand and pulled her back into the garden.

She was a girl of about her own age, dressed in simple clothes. Her eyes were brown with a slight yellowish sheen, and her face was round like the moon, with a small, cute nose and pink lips curved in a faint smile. This girl also had long, dark hair, though not as long as the princess's. Her face held an air of simplicity and tranquility.

"Princess! Why did you come this way?? I've been calling you for so long, and the maid also called for you." the girl said, scolding the princess as if.

"Chandrika, that butterfly was so lovely, and I don't even know how I ended up here following it. But as soon as I arrived here... that butterfly, look." The princess gestured with her finger and turned back, but stumbled slightly, perhaps because the ground was uneven. Her hand landed on a tree again. Just then, the girl standing in front of her grabbed her hand, and both their hands touched the tree simultaneously.

A sharp burning sensation caused the princess to let out a painful scream, and the part of her hand that touched the tree turned red.

Then, the girl grabbed the princess's hand and pulled her away from there, back into the garden. Together, they crossed the garden and headed towards the palace.

As soon as they moved away, the tree where the princess's hand had touched began to turn green again, and the dark shadows that had darkened the sky also started to disappear one by one.

As the two girls entered the palace gates, Queen Kadambari came running towards them. She pulled the princess into a hug and said, "Vasundhara, why don't you listen to us? How many times have we told you never to leave this palace? Yet you are so careless and don't listen to us. It's a good thing Chandrika looks after you so well."

"Queen Mother! We are fine," the princess replied, smiling as she hugged her mother. Chandrika, standing on the side, watched silently. As Queen Kadambari noticed her,

The queen called her over too, took her hand, and hugged her affectionately. "Why do you stand so far away, Chandrika! I am your Queen Mother too, aren't I? Come... come to me."

Smiling at the Queen Mother's words, Chandrika also embraced her. Hugging her Queen Mother gave her a feeling of great comfort, much like hugging her own mother. Her mother had passed away when she was young; she had been a very close attendant to the queen. Since then, the queen had raised Chandrika alongside Vasundhara like her own daughter. Chandrika and Vasundhara had been very good friends since childhood.

While Chandrika received a loving hug from her Queen Mother, Vasundhara stood a little distance away, receiving a scolding from her mother for stepping outside the garden. But Chandrika had saved her at the nick of time.

"Queen Mother! Why do those dark shadows always hover around me and why do I always see them? What is my connection to them, and what do they want..." As usual, Princess Vasundhara's questions began. For the past few years, ever since she became aware and witnessed such incidents around her, and was subjected to so many restrictions, not even being allowed to leave the palace, she had been troubled by this and had always longed to go outside the palace.

Placing her hand on the princess's cheek, the queen replied, "Because you are our precious princess, and you are such a good and kind-hearted person, those dark powers want to take you with them, and we do not want that, Vasundhara! You ask me this question every day, and every day my answer is the same, but still..."

Chandrika, standing at the side, listened to their conversation with a faint smile on her face. The queen glanced at her and then said, "Chandrika! You explain to this girl how important her safety is to us, and that we cannot take any risks. But still, this girl is so careless."

Hearing the queen's words, Chandrika slowly nodded her head and then went to the princess to reason with her.

    The story continues...

The riverbank, where the forest ended, had a stone cave between two or three tall mountains. The cave had a strange, devilish temple at its entrance, with an odd statue of a devil and an extremely dark atmosphere. Upon entering, a much larger path lay ahead, with the sounds of many people screaming and shouting.

Around the area, people stood like stones, with strange, hard faces and necks twisted to the side. Their eyes were open, and they appeared extremely odd. All of them stood behind, muttering a mantra that echoed with a strange sound.

"Leave us, Satan! Let us go... We will never be your slaves, even if you kill us." A man shouted loudly, and his cry was followed by a loud, terrifying laugh.

"Bhanoo, kill them... They have a death wish but are unaware of Vikrant's dark powers... These innocent people..." A man said, sitting on a high, stone throne at the side, a little distance away.

His eyes burned like fire, with yellow and orange hues. His entire face had a terrifying glow that could burn anyone who dared to touch or even look at him. He had long hair down to his neck and a devilish smile on his face. A dangerous aura emanated from him.

Upon hearing his words, the old, hunched man standing nearby took a step forward. He signaled to those standing around him, and they moved forward. There were about seven or eight stone-like ghosts, with hard, stone-like faces that seemed terrifying.

They appeared extremely powerful and easily overpowered the three or four people standing in the middle. They bound their hands and feet and took one of them, tying their foot to an iron chain hanging in the middle, with a fire burning underneath.

After binding the man, Bhanoo took a few steps back. Vikrant looked at him and said, "What are you thinking? Kill him, and let his blood droplets fall into the flames of this devilish fire. This will increase our powers and allow us to establish our dark empire soon."

"Malik... His blood should be mixed with yours, so his goodness and noble-hearted powers can enter you, increasing your powers tenfold!" Bhanoo advised Vikrant.

"Yes... I know this well. For 17 years, I've been doing this. I've killed many, and their age and powers have been absorbed into me. Today will be no different..." Vikrant said, standing up and instantly appearing in the middle of the place, far from his throne. Those standing there, mostly wearing black, had their eyes turned completely black, and half their bodies had turned dark.

They seemed unable to speak or understand, only able to bow their heads, listen to orders, and obey. They were part of his dark empire and under the control of dark powers. Most of them had chosen to join willingly, as those who refused would have to sacrifice their lives.

The man hanging upside down from the chain, bound and helpless, was now unconscious and silent, exhausted from the night's torture.

Vikrant stood before him, gazing at him with burning eyes. Bhanoo approached, holding a dagger. Vikrant took the dagger and, in an instant, slit the man's throat, causing a surge of blood. Some blood splattered on Vikrant's hand and face, while the rest fell into the burning fire, changing its color to black. The fire eventually went out.

Vikrant cut his hand with the dagger and placed it on the man's neck, mixing their blood. He then removed his hand, and his wound healed in moments. He smiled and looked at Bhanoo, who was already smiling mysteriously.

"The fire has gone out, Master! This means our sacrifice has been accepted, and Satan is pleased with us," the old, hunched man said, flattering.

Vikrant laughed and said, "Do you have any doubts, Bhanoo? Satan is pleased only when I am. And I am pleased now. But for now, let's keep these people as prisoners. We will sacrifice them on the night of the new moon when dark powers are at their peak."

"As you wish, Master," Bhanoo said, bowing his head and moving towards the others. Vikrant stood for a while, thought, and then left.

On the other hand; a girl is moving forward in the forest near the palace, muttering to herself. She is wearing a long garment to cover her face, hiding half of it, and continues to talk to herself as she walks, with no one else around for miles.

"This friendship with the princess is proving very costly, Chandrika. Because of it, you have to come to this dangerous forest at this hour. Who knows what whim the princess has, wanting a bouquet of flowers that bloom at night. She intends to make jewelry out of them. She herself wants to do all this, but there isn't a single patch of these small white flowers in the garden. But why isn't there, and why does the princess have such an attachment to these flowers..." - As she spoke, the girl moved towards a plant about four to five feet away, covered in many white flowers. The small stem was orange, and in the moonlight of the night, the flowers looked incredibly beautiful.

As soon as Chandrika found the plant in the forest, she happily moved towards it. As she got closer, she felt an urge to pick almost all the flowers from the plant, even though there were so many that it would be impossible for anyone to pick them all at once.

Chandrika stepped forward to pick all the flowers and began placing them in the small bamboo basket she had brought with her.

In the moonlight, her beautiful, deep dark eyes shone brightly, and there was no trace of fear on her face, despite being alone in the forest at this late hour. Seeing her, it seemed as if she frequented this place often, and today was not her first time.

She was calmly picking flowers when she heard a rustling sound in the bushes around her. She felt as if someone was there because the bushes in front were indeed moving.

Chandrika glanced in that direction once but didn't pay much attention. She turned her gaze forward again and continued her work, convincing herself that she had merely imagined it and that there was no one there. After a while, she felt as if someone was watching her from amidst the bushes.

Realizing this, Chandrika became a little frightened. Her throat became dry with fear, and she moistened it by swallowing and said to herself, "Who could be there? Oh, Mother Goddess, protect me... What if it's a ghost or a wild animal? Yes, anything is possible. And here I am, forgetting all about it, mesmerized by these flowers... I should go back. Anyway, I've collected quite a few flowers; these will be enough."

Looking into her basket, Chandrika spoke and then immediately took a few steps forward to leave. Just then, she saw a wild lion standing a short distance in front of her, staring at her and advancing directly towards her.

Seeing the lion before her, Chandrika screamed loudly, "Ahhh... Help!" The bamboo basket slipped from her hands. She didn't know whether to run back or what to do, so she stood rooted to the spot, her eyes tightly shut.

Her scream was very loud, and the ashram in another part of the forest was not far from there. Therefore, Viresh, who was sitting there, heard her scream clearly. His hearing was exceptional, and his sight extended very far. He had deliberately honed these abilities so much himself. It was because of this that he had been the first to hear the scream of the girl falling at the waterfall, and today, at this late hour, he again heard the cry for help.

Viresh got up from his seat and said, "A call for help! Someone is in distress in the forest. I'll be right there."

"No one comes into the forest at this time of night. Your ears must be ringing. Sit down quietly and let's finish our chanting. This is also important, we have to complete it by morning..." said Viresh's friend Saksham, holding his hand and making him sit back down.

Viresh sat back down with him and resumed the chanting, but his mind was still focused on that sound.

On the other side, far from the second ashram, in the forest,

The girl was backing away, taking very small steps. But before she could retreat much, the lion roared loudly and lunged at her. It was about to pounce on her. The moment the girl opened her eyes and saw this sight before her, her life drained away. She felt as if her soul had already left her body and she couldn't survive. With this thought, she closed her eyes again and silently prayed to God to save her.

She didn't open her eyes, but she heard a very loud noise, as if a very large, heavy stone had fallen on the ground in front of her. She was so terrified by fear that her whole body was trembling, because she felt that as soon as she opened her eyes, she would see the lion standing very close before her, ready to devour her.

After some time, the girl heard no sound, nor did she feel anyone approaching her. So, she slowly opened one eye and saw that there was no lion there anymore. Instead, a very tall and broad man stood before her, his back towards her. He was wearing completely black clothes, so not even an inch of his body was visible, not even his neck or anything from behind...

Everything was covered by this cloth, and he had long black hair reaching up to his neck. A deep, negative energy emanated from him. All around him, not only the lion but not even a single animal or bird could be seen for miles. Although just moments before, the girl had heard the sounds of many animals and birds, now there was complete silence.

Chandrika didn't know what to say or not to say. But she understood that this man had helped her and saved her from the lion. But how... and where had the lion suddenly gone? She couldn't understand this.

The story is not over yet...

What do you think, who came to save Chandrika, and why did the lion attack her? What is the story of those flowers, and why does Vikrant sacrifice people in this way? Will he succeed in establishing his dark empire, or will Guruji and the protectors of his ashram create obstacles in his path? Tell us in the comments.

With a jerk, turning his neck back, the man looked at the girl and asked in a deep, heavy voice, "Who are you and what are you doing here so late at night?"

Hearing his voice, Chandrika should have been scared, but for some reason, she wasn't afraid of the man at all. His deep voice seemed to echo in her heart and mind, and beyond hearing his voice, she couldn't grasp what he was saying or asking. She just kept staring at him.

His deep, flowing golden eyes, which shone even in the darkness of the night, like those of any wild animal, revealed something different to Chandrika. Half his face was covered, so Chandrika couldn't see anything besides those burning eyes. Yet, his eyes were enough to tell the story of his entire face. He looked very dangerous, and an aura emanated from him as if anyone who came close to him would burn to death upon touching him.

Despite all this, Chandrika felt an inexplicable pull towards him, as if she had known him for years and was only seeing him for the first time today.

The man standing in front, descending from the high rock, walked towards her and asked, "Didn't you hear me? Are you deaf... I'm asking you something. What are you doing in this dangerous forest so late at night? Do you want to die, or have you lost your way? Is anyone with you or not? Haven't you seen how many wild animals are here and how dangerous it is, but still..."

Chandrika continued to stare at him without blinking, not having answered a single one of his questions.

This slightly annoyed the man, and he stood right in front of her, about to place his hand on her shoulder to get her attention. But then, thinking something, he stopped. He withdrew his hand, clenched it tightly into a fist, and said, "Are you going to stand here all night like a statue? It seems you've had quite a shock... Why am I wasting my time!"

Saying this, he started to move away. But as he passed by Chandrika, his shoulder brushed lightly against her head. The man didn't pay much attention and continued walking. Just then, Chandrika felt a jolt, as if snapped out of a trance. She quickly looked around and saw the man walking away from behind her.

This was the same man who had helped her just a while ago, saving her life from that dangerous lion. So Chandrika felt she should at least thank him. But she had been so captivated by his face and presence that she hadn't properly heard anything he had said.

"He was probably asking something, and I didn't even hear him properly. But let me at least go and thank him now. After all, he saved my life, even though he's a stranger..." Saying this, Chandrika ran after the man, who was walking leisurely in a relaxed pace to one side.

"Wait... Hey, wait... Wait! And what were you saying? Wait a moment, I need to thank you. You saved my life. But tell me, you came in front of the lion, and it didn't attack you? Instead, it ran away with its tail between its legs. How did that happen? Do you know any spells to control animals?" Chandrika said, running after him.

Hearing her voice, the man stopped abruptly and turned back, looking at her, he said, "So, you've come out of your shock. I thought you had turned into a statue and would stand there like that. And you think any wild animal can stand before me? And I need any spells? That lion ran away in fear as soon as it saw me."

Chandrika made a face and said, "Enough... Enough, you've praised yourself a little too much. You're bragging quite a bit. By the way, you were asking me something!"

The man looked her up and down and asked, "Yes, I was just asking what you are doing here so late at night. If you are so afraid of wild animals, then why did you come here yourself? And who are you? You don't seem to be from the village?"

He himself didn't understand why he was so worried about this girl and why he had helped her for no reason, just hearing her scream, he had rushed to her aid and was now asking her so many questions. Even now, he was trying to talk to her unnecessarily.

On the other hand, the girl was doing the same. Both of them felt a strange sensation around each other, which made them very curious about one another.

Answering his question, Chandrika started to tell him about herself. "I am a friend of Princess Vasundhara, and also her special attendant. It was on her orders that I came here to get the night-blooming jasmine flowers for her. They bloom only at this time of night, and the princess wants them freshly bloomed. That's why I had to come here at this hour. But just then, that lion also came here, and I don't know why, it was about to attack me, when suddenly you came between us and saved me. Thank you so much! In a way, this is a favor you've done me. You saved my life."

From her introduction to everything that had happened until now, Chandrika explained it all in one breath.

But as soon as he took Princess Vasundhara's name, the man's eyes lit up and a sly smile appeared on his face, which had been completely absent until then.

Chandrika noticed the change in his expression but said nothing. Then the man said, "The princess is very cruel to you, and yet you call her your friend, even though she put your life in danger to fulfill a whim of hers..."

Chandrika, as if scolding him, said, "Look, whoever you are, and even though you saved my life, for which I am grateful, I still won't listen to anything against the princess. She has done a lot for me, and in return, if I do this much for her, it's no big deal. Anyway, I like these flowers too."

Seeing her get angry like this, the man, as if ending the conversation, said, "Okay... okay, fine. I won't say anything about your dear princess friend, alright."

Chandrika was almost running behind him, so the man slowed down his pace to walk with her. He didn't know why he wanted to spend more time with her, even though he knew their destinations were completely different. But since hearing Princess Vasundhara's name, he had become very interested in the girl.

They walked together, moving a little further from that spot. In the meantime, Chandrika had forgotten about the flowers and about going back to the palace. The man, taking interest, asked her, "But who are you, and what are you doing here? You haven't even told me your name?"

In response to her question, Vikrant spoke in a deep, heavy voice, "Vikrant! My name is Vikrant, and you don't need to know anything more than that. Just consider me a traveler."

His voice was one of those that sent shivers down the spine, making Chandrika's hair stand on end. She stopped dead in her tracks and said, "A traveler... fine, I accept you're a traveler, but you must have a destination, right?"

"We don't set out to find destinations; we believe in creating our own," Vikrant said, and walked away quickly. He didn't stop there or look back at the girl, as a lot was going through his mind at that moment, and he didn't want to reveal it to her.

Chandrika immediately started to go after him, but she knew it was no use. He had gone far ahead into the dense forest, where it was pitch dark, and in that darkness, he disappeared like a black shadow.

Standing in her place, Chandrika watched him intently for a while. She felt, for some reason, that he would turn back, emerge from the dark forest, come to her, and finish their conversation. But nothing of the sort happened. Chandrika sighed deeply and returned to the night-blooming jasmine tree. This time, she didn't pick any flowers from the tree. Instead, she bent down and picked up the flowers scattered on the ground, placing them in her basket.

After she had gathered enough flowers, Chandrika smiled, looked at her basket, and then headed straight for the royal palace.

    In the Royal Palace;

Chandrika entered the palace through a secret passage in the garden, as she had left from there. No one besides the princess and her knows about this passage. They had found it in their childhood and then had covered it well by planting bushes and other trees around it. Even now, many trees and plants have grown in front of it, so no one can see the passage. It is their secret route, used only by the two of them to leave the palace...

But Vasundhara is not permitted to go out, so Chandrika mostly goes out, sometimes for her errands, sometimes to get something for her, or sometimes to find out about her father when he doesn't return from war for many days. Vasundhara summons soldiers from there to the palace and learns about the war. However, in the past few years, her father has not gone to any war and is at the palace.

Chandrika entered very cautiously through the passage. As soon as she arrived, she saw Princess Vasundhara standing there with two maids. One of them was holding a torch with a very dim flame, so that not many people would notice them.

But Chandrika had some inkling of this, so she immediately came towards the light and presented her basket of flowers to Vasundhara, saying, "I've brought all the flowers I could find there for you. Are you happy now, Princess?"

Chandrika asked Princess Vasundhara, and Vasundhara's eyes were fixed on the beautiful, small white and orange flowers inside the basket. Looking at the flowers, Vasundhara said, "Yes, I am very happy with you... You have done a great job, but where did you get so delayed? I've been waiting for you. Let's go to my chambers now, we'll talk about everything else there!"

Saying this, the princess moved ahead, and Vasundhara and her maids followed her into the royal palace, into the room.

    Story Continues...

Why did Vikrant save Chandrika's life? What does he know about the princess, and what are his motives? How is Princess Vasundhara involved in all this? To find out, keep reading "The Curse of Births."

The princess sits in her chambers in the palace with her maids and friends, looking at all the flowers with great joy. She has asked her maids to make jewelry out of the flowers, and Chandrika, along with all the maids, is making flower jewelry for the princess at her command. The princess is also sitting there with them, but on a high seat. Suddenly, the princess's gaze falls on a small yellow and black flower in the basket, whose petals are yellow and its stem is completely black. Amidst all those white and orange flowers, that flower looked completely different.

"This flower looks so different from all these flowers and so beautiful too. Why have I never seen such a flower before today?" The princess had seen such a flower for the first time in her life, so she became very curious. Driven by curiosity, the princess immediately picked up the flower in her hands and started looking at it. But as she examined it closely, the princess understood nothing. So, she brought the flower near her nose to smell its fragrance. But as soon as the princess smelled the flower, she felt something very strange, and her eyes became heavy. The princess did not understand what had happened to her, but she felt as if there was a different kind of intoxication in the flower's scent. And before the princess could understand anything, she fell to the ground right there.

Hearing the sound of the princess falling, Chandrika looked in that direction and quickly came forward, saying, "Princess! Princess, what happened to you? Get up... You were fine just now, what happened so suddenly?"

All the other maids also looked in that direction, but they too understood nothing. One of them quickly brought water and gave it to Chandrika. Chandrika sprinkled water on the princess's face, but it was of no use. The princess did not regain consciousness; she wasn't even moving at all and was lying on the ground.

"Go quickly and inform the King and Queen, and also send for the Royal Physician!" Chandrika ordered the maids. Hearing her words, they all left one by one and ran away, but some also stayed with her, and together they lifted the princess and placed her on her bed.

The princess is still unconscious, and the flower is still clasped in her fist, which no one has paid attention to.

    Meanwhile;

A man, tossing a small glass vial, said, "Did you all see? This was child's play for me. How I captured that stubborn wandering soul."

On the path leading into the forest, three people are walking together in the same direction. It is morning in the forest, and the sun has risen. Birds are chirping, and some small wild animals are seen running and playing here and there.

Among the three people, there are two boys and one girl, but all three are wearing almost the same clothes. The boy walking in the middle has a cloth tied around his forehead, his hair is long, and he holds the glass vial in his hand. He looks quite happy, as if he has achieved something great.

The girl walking with him said, "Yes, yes, we all saw. No need to tell us repeatedly because we were both there, and without our help, you could never have done this alone, Vireś!"

The other boy walking with them looked at the girl and said, trying to explain, "Leave it, Shivani! You know how much he likes to show off, and now that he has captured a soul for the first time, he's bound to get carried away..."

Shivani also replied to his words, "Yes... yes... Saksham! I know, but look how happy he is. He thinks he'll get a reward from Guruji for this small task, when this is just the beginning. We have to face many great dark powers ahead, and this was just an unfulfilled soul!"

Hearing the conversation of the two walking beside him, Vireś, who was walking slightly in the middle, stopped in his place because their words had reached him. He turned around angrily and looked at both of them, saying, "Tell me one thing, are you two my friends or enemies? Can't you be a little happy for your friend's happiness? You've just been taunting me since the beginning. What did I show off so much? I was just telling what happened there, but you people probably didn't even listen. It's okay, I'll go to the ashram and tell others who listen with interest about my exploits."

Saksham went ahead and placed his hand on his shoulder, saying, "Oh man, we are happy. Go ahead and tell them all, but first, we have to meet Guruji, and you have to submit this glass vial to Guruji as well."

Hearing Saksham's words, Vireś nodded his head in agreement, and Shivani, standing with them, also smiled slightly upon hearing their words. Then, the three of them proceeded together towards the ashram, where Guruji was sitting in meditation. They sat down in front of him and waited for Guruji to open his eyes.

Who are these three people and what dark powers were they talking about? Has Guruji found out about Vikrant's return? What has happened to Vasundhara? Will anyone notice that flower, and how did that differently colored flower appear among all those flowers? Whose hand could be behind this? What do you think? Tell us in the comments.

As soon as the three of them arrived and sat down, Guru Ji came to know about it. Although he was sitting with his eyes closed, he was a very accomplished Mahatma and could know about such things without being told. Therefore, after some time, he opened his eyes and said, "A very big responsibility is going to come upon the three of you, so be ready, your team has a lot to do."

As soon as Guru Ji's eyes opened, the three of them bowed and greeted him, and then bowed their heads and Viresh, who was sitting in the middle, asked, "What kind of responsibility, Guru Ji?"

"You will know, have patience, and also include Vaibhav in your team. Your performance is the best and you all are proficient in all arts and mantras, so I am going to assign this task to all four of you," Guru Ji said in a roundabout way. The three friends looked at each other because they did not understand Guru Ji's words at this time, but they did not ask further because they had been living in the ashram for so many years and had understood many of Guru Ji's words and their meanings. When he said that they would know when the time came, they knew that they would not know anything until then.

    On the other hand,

There was a very old and dilapidated house behind the mountain, which was large but looked like a ruined palace or haveli from ancient times. It was now completely ruined.

There were large spider webs visible there, and the house was home to bats and many other small and large animals. A person wrapped in a large blanket-like cloth was walking towards the house, covering his head and face. He was looking around very carefully.

Suddenly, a loud, painful scream echoed through the area, causing birds and insects to fly away, and bats to fly out of the house. The person stopped in his tracks, thought for a moment, and then moved forward.

The scream still echoed, and it seemed that someone was suffering and in great pain. The person approached the source of the sound, his face showing no fear but determination.

A loud voice echoed through the place, "Come, come, why are you standing at the door? I knew you would come today, and I was thinking you would arrive soon!"

The person entering the house removed the cloth from his face and replied, "Stop calling me 'Dadaji', you are a demon, and you have no relationship with me. I don't know why I have been coming to meet you secretly for 17 years."

An eerie shadow emerged from the darkness, and a black figure approached him. The figure had no upper body clothing and wore only black pajamas. His upper body looked hard like stone, but there were deep black marks on his left shoulder. His eyes were yellow and orange, but he seemed calm.

"My dear Dadaji, the relationship is already established, and it cannot be broken. But if you want, a new relationship can be formed. Ha ha ha," he said with a loud laugh.

"Vikrant! I have come to tell you something very important. If you behave like this, I won't tell you, and I'll go back," Narendra Thakur said angrily. Vikrant stopped laughing and became serious.

    The story continues...

What do you think, is Vikrant's grandfather deceiving his friends' Guru Ji, and does Guru Ji know about it? Is he really helping Vikrant or deceiving him? What do you think is connected to the grandfather and Mahatma Guru Ji? How did this curse begin? If you know, please comment.

The hidden ashram of the great sage Guruji Maniknath, nestled in the heart of the forest, no longer appeared as hidden as it once was. A large number of horsemen and soldiers were seen moving towards the forest, and the place was crowded.

Hearing the sound of approaching horsemen and soldiers, everyone in the ashram became alert. All the disciples formed a circle along the perimeter of the ashram, holding each other's hands. A bright yellow-golden light emanated from their clasped hands, creating a protective barrier around the ashram.

The soldiers could not see this phenomenon or the golden light. They could only see a few people, and they were advancing without any obstruction.

"Has the king attacked us?" asked a boy of about 18 or 19 years from the protective circle.

Hearing his words, everyone looked at him, but no one had an answer. They all felt the same way. The way the soldiers and horsemen were advancing towards their ashram with their spears and weapons, there was only one conclusion they could all draw.

Just then, a middle-aged woman, who looked about 40-45 years old, emerged from among them. She appeared grave and wise. She said, "No, the king has no such reason, nor is he unaware of our powers that he would needlessly make an enemy of us. After all, what harm has our ashram done to the king?"

This woman was Aparna Maa, a very old disciple of Guruji, who now taught many skills to all the protective squads, in which she was very proficient. Besides, she took care of all the children who came there as if they were her own.

A clear strength radiated from her words, and not a trace of fear was visible in her eyes. Except for a few younger disciples, no one was afraid. All stood united, ready to face the situation, knowing well that even if the king's entire army were to confront them, ordinary soldiers could not stand against their powers.

The soldiers stopped some distance away from the ashram, as they felt some power preventing them from advancing further. They made no attempt to challenge this invisible force. Two soldiers dismounted their horses, and with three or four other soldiers, they walked forward and stood at the ashram gate, saying, "We need to meet your Guruji. The king has summoned him to the palace. He must come with us."

The soldier spoke these words in front of all the people gathered near the gate, who were standing holding each other's hands, completely blocking their path forward.

The soldiers' polite demeanor made it clear to the disciples that they had not come to fight or attack. The disciples breathed a sigh of relief and released each other's hands.

Then, from among them, Viresh, the leader of the protective squad and the most promising disciple of the ashram, stepped forward and said, "No, our Guruji will not go anywhere like this. If the king has any business with him, the king should come here."

The commander of the soldiers replied to him with some anger, "Are you out of your mind, boy? The Maharaja does not come to such places. That's why he has sent us, and we have come to escort the Mahatma with respect. So, do not argue, and go call your Guruji."

Saksham, Viresh's friend, standing beside him, also stepped forward and said, "Oh, so you call this respect? This is just your stubbornness. And didn't you hear Viresh say that our Guruji is not going anywhere?"

"How can he not go anywhere? He has come to the royal palace many times. That's a different matter that you people might not know about it, because he has regular meetings with the Maharaja, and we don't need to talk to you."

The commander of the soldiers said, stepping forward. Hearing his words, everyone looked at each other. Before Viresh could reply, they heard a voice from a short distance behind them, "Alright, I'll go. Because wherever I am needed, I must go, and right now, my need is greatest at the royal palace."

When Guruji himself came and spoke those words among everyone, no one dared to say anything further. Then, Guruji left with the soldiers for the royal palace, accompanied by some of his disciples whom he had personally asked to come along. He asked everyone else to stay back and await their return. Everyone silently bowed their heads and obeyed Guruji's command.

Some time later, the royal court.

The king seated the Mahatma respectfully on a seat beside him, and his disciples who had come with him stood around the Mahatma. The Mahatma had brought four promising disciples with him, including Viresh, Saksham, and two other young men who were as brave and accomplished in all arts and powers as Viresh and Saksham. The army commander, the minister, and other courtiers stood with the king.

The Mahatma, looking around his surroundings, said, "This entire palace is under the shadow of dark forces, and I have told you this many times before."

Everyone was slightly unnerved by his words and remained silent. Even the king did not know what to say, as he himself had been feeling this.

A maidservant came and informed them, "Maharaja! The Princess has regained consciousness."

Hearing the maid's words, the king glanced at the sage, and a very faint smile was on the sage's face. He said to the king, "Your daughter has regained consciousness after a full 24 hours..."

The king was utterly astonished by the sage's words. He couldn't understand how the sage knew what he hadn't yet told him. He already had immense faith in the sage's powers, and now, any remaining doubt in his heart was also dispelled.

The king immediately joined his hands before the sage and said, "Guruji! Only you can save us now. And why are these dark powers after my daughter? What connection does my Vasundhara have with them?"

With a faint smile on his face, the sage said, "This is all a play of destiny, and who can go against destiny? What is meant to happen will happen. Neither I nor you can stop it. The princess has somehow become connected to those dark powers, perhaps from the time of her birth..."

The king pleaded, "Is there any way to get rid of this, Guruji? That is why we have called you here. Please help us. We are very distressed, and only one year remains. After one year, the princess will turn 18, and after that, no one knows what will happen?"

The sage said with a completely serious face, "Yes, I also know that all dark and divine powers awaken and become more powerful only after the age of 18. Therefore, you must keep the princess safe until then, and for this, I have already thought of a solution."

Veeresh and Saksham, standing behind him, were also trying to understand everything their Guruji was saying. Hearing this, they both looked at each other and slowly nodded their heads. Perhaps some things were becoming clear to both of them too.

The king, with curiosity, asked, "Please tell us, Maharaj, what is the solution? We are ready to do anything. We will obey your every word and perform any puja, archana, sadhana, or jap-tap that is required. After all, it is a question of our child's life. We do not want these dark shadows to continue hovering over our lives."

The sage began to explain the whole matter to the king, saying, "No, they do not have a direct effect because your daughter also possesses divine powers, which are enough to fight them. But the dark powers also have their time when they are strongest. Besides, we do not know what our direct confrontation is with, so we cannot do anything directly to avoid it. We must be extremely careful about everything from our side... Therefore, listen carefully to what I am saying!"

The king, queen, and everyone present began to listen attentively to the sage's words.

    ******

    A little later;

    The Princess's Chamber,

When the princess opened her eyes, her head still felt very heavy. She looked around, and for a while, everything appeared blurry. She felt as if she couldn't remember anything.

A very familiar voice fell upon the princess's ears, "Princess, are you alright? How are you feeling now? And how did you suddenly faint and sit here..."

It was Chandrika's voice. Hearing it, the princess immediately looked in that direction and saw her mother sitting with Chandrika, gently stroking her head. Seeing them, Princess Vasundhara, lying on the bed, smiled faintly and tried to sit up. The maids then helped her sit up.

Sitting up, Vasundhara first questioned her mother, "Queen Mother! You are here, and what happened to us... Why don't we remember anything? How did we get into bed?"

Gently touching the princess's face, the queen smiled and said, "Nothing happened. You were just resting. You weren't feeling well, so we came to see you. Now, tell me, do you feel alright or not?"

Hearing her words, Vasundhara said with confusion, "What happened to our health? We aren't feeling any pain anywhere, nor have we sustained any injuries."

Saying this, she glanced over herself and then looked at her hands, turning them over.

"Yes, nothing happened. You have completely recovered because Guruji gave you medicine."

Hearing her mother's words, the princess was very confused. After a while, her mother got up from her place, gently kissed her forehead, lovingly looked at her, and stroked her hair, then left. After her mother left, Vasundhara called Chandrika closer and asked her, "Chanda! You tell me what happened to us. We don't remember anything. Has something like what usually happens happened to us again?"

Chandrika tried to force a smile and said, "No, Princess! Nothing like that has happened. You are thinking too much. Just rest. I will go and order some food for you."

"She has also left. Surely Mother and Father must have told her not to tell me anything. But I will find out."

Saying this, Vasundhara got up from her place and, looking around, began to move towards the door of her room.

The maids who were already present in her room tried to stop Vasundhara from leaving, but Vasundhara did not listen to them and started to leave her room. Just then, a hand appeared at the door, blocking her way. Vasundhara had no expectation that someone would be standing at the door like this.

The voice plainly told the princess to stop, "Princess, you cannot leave your chamber like this because there is great danger upon you. You have been forbidden to go anywhere alone by the Maharaj. You will need his permission, or I will accompany you."

Vasundhara began to walk out of her room, but then someone stopped her by holding out his hand, "Princess, where are you going? You cannot leave your chamber?"

Hearing the voice, Princess Vasundhara looked up and saw a young man standing before her, with a handsome face and a strong physique. His eyes were deep brown, and he had long black hair that reached his neck, with a band tied around his head that kept his hair between his face and forehead. His face had a distinct radiance, and a very positive aura emanated from him, yet his expression was serious. Princess Vasundhara looked up at him and was mesmerized at first.

But then, as Princess Vasundhara's gaze shifted away from him, she asked with a slightly angry face, "Who are you, and who are you to stop me? I'm not going far, just to the garden, because I've been in my chamber for so long, I'm feeling uneasy."

The man said in a completely flat tone, "Alright, then I will accompany you."

Princess Vasundhara made a face and looked at him, asking, "You're a strange, clingy person. Who are you, and why would you come with me?"

The young man said very firmly, "It is my guru's command, and from today, protecting you is my duty. Besides that, the Maharaj has also entrusted me with the responsibility of your safety, and from now on, I will be with you at all times." However, while saying all this, he did not look at the princess's face.

Princess Vasundhara said with a pout, "We don't need a protector; we can protect ourselves. Do you know, brother, we learned to wield a sword together? We are also good at horseback riding and archery..."

The man said in a very serious voice, "Princess, don't talk like a child. You also know that you are not threatened by these things, but by people from a different kind of world, and only I can protect you from them. That's why my guru chose me. You cannot stop me from coming with you. If you have to go anywhere, I will accompany you."

The princess said carelessly, "Okay... okay, fine. Don't bother me too much, and you can quietly follow us, but don't trouble us too much, and we absolutely dislike being restricted in everything..."

Saying this, Vasundhara walked past the door.

Bowing his head slightly, the man followed her and said, "Yes, Princess, as you command..."

The man who has been appointed as her protector is none other than the guru's most capable and talented disciple, and the head of the ashram's security force, Vīresh.

They both left together, and after the princess left, all the maids also dispersed.

After some time, Chandrika returned to the chamber, and by then it had become dark. The sun had completely set, and stars had started to appear in the sky.

Upon entering the chamber, Chandrika called out for the princess by name, "Princess... Princess Vasundhara, where are you?"

Chandrika called out for the princess, but received no response. She then searched the entire chamber for the princess everywhere. But she could not find the princess anywhere, and then she got up and moved towards the balcony of the room, because from there, the outside of the palace and the garden could be seen. So, Chandrika went towards the balcony to look for the princess.

"Where has the princess gone? Without telling me. She wasn't feeling well earlier, and now she's wandered off. If mother finds out, she'll scold me, and the princess too..." Chandrika muttered to herself as she came and peered down from the room's balcony towards the garden. But she spotted the princess there. However, when she looked closely, someone was walking behind her.

Chandrika knew that the princess's parents had appointed a new protector, sent by the guru, for her. And now, with his strength and ability, he would protect the princess from those dark powers.

Seeing the princess strolling in the garden with him, Chandrika breathed a sigh of relief and was no longer as worried about the princess.

She was about to return to the room from the balcony, but then, at a short distance, amidst the bushes in the garden, she saw two glowing yellow eyes. These eyes reminded her intensely of someone. The person she had met in the forest had eyes exactly like these, and they were looking towards the princess.

Chandrika felt that perhaps there was nothing really there and she was just imagining things, which was why she was seeing this. But then she noticed some movement in that direction and thought that perhaps the princess was in danger. So, she quickly left and went towards the garden, but she didn't go towards the princess and her protector. Instead, she walked around and directly towards the bushes.
