“Wow, Rishi! What a party you've organized! It's amazing!” Sahil, Rishi's friend, patted Rishi on the back and said.

There was a large party lawn with disco lights flashing all around. There was a bar in one corner and a dinner section in the other. The party looked like it was being held at a rich person's house, but it was actually a celebration for passing the 12th grade exams. Rishi Khurana, the son of a big businessman, Rajveer Khurana, had thrown this party for all his classmates.

Rishi was wearing a white shirt, black stylish blazer, expensive watch, Reebok shoes, and had styled his hair with wax. He was tall, fair, and had sharp features. He took off his expensive stylish glasses with one hand and said with a lot of swagger, “Glad you liked the party? But this is just a sample. When I host the fresher's party after college admissions are complete, that's when you'll see a real party.”

Just then, a boy with a simple T-shirt, jeans, and sports shoes, and a good-looking guy with a brown complexion, came from behind Sahil. He was even more handsome than Rishi.

The boy, Saumya, approached Rishi and looked around the club, saying, “Rishi, you're wasting so much of your dad's money, and that's just to impress your three or four friends.”

Rishi put his hand on Saumya's shoulder, raised his eyebrows, and said irritably, “First of all, I'm not throwing this party to impress my friends. I do what I want to do, just to make myself happy. And if my dad doesn't have a problem with it, why are you getting worked up? And please don't start giving me lectures again. I'm in a good mood today, so don't ruin it with your nonsense.”

Saumya asked Rishi seriously, “By the way, if this party is for passing 12th grade, then how many percent did you get?”

Rishi looked at Saumya angrily and said, “Look, if you're going to monitor me like you did in school, then listen carefully - school is over, and now we're going to college, so you're no longer our monitor, got it? And as for the percentage, I'm having a party with 45% marks, and you think you've achieved something with 80%? You're standing here at my party, aren't you? There's no difference between you and me.”

Just then, Rishi, Sahil, and several friends started teasing Saumya.

Saumya left without saying anything. Just then, a girl came from behind. Her fair body was glowing even in the dim light of the lawn. Her eyes had a special spark; her nose was sharp, her lips were like rose petals, her hair was open, and she had full makeup and glasses on. She was wearing a red crop top and a black dotted mini-skirt; her navel could attract any guy. She held a hand purse in one hand and took Saumya's hand with the other, asking, “Oh hello! Where are you going, Mr. Saumya? The party has just started!”

Saumya looked back, took a deep breath, and said, “Saanjhi, let go of my hand. I'm going home. My party is over.”

Saanjhi made a cute face and said, “What, Saumya! I just arrived, and you're leaving? If I had known you were going to leave so early, I would have tried to come a bit earlier.”

Saumya pulled his hand away from Saanjhi's and teased her, “Go, your boyfriend is waiting for you. Go meet him. And I've enjoyed the party a lot.”

Saanjhi looked a bit confused and asked, “What's wrong? Did Rishi say something to you?”

Saumya was about to speak when Rishi arrived with a few friends. Rishi stopped in front of Saanjhi, pulled her close, hugged her, and kissed her cheeks, asking, “Where were you, baby? You took so long! I've been waiting for you.”

Saanjhi adjusted Rishi's hair with her hands and said, “Nothing, baby. I came with my dad's car, so it took a while.”

Saumya looked at Saanjhi and Rishi and frowned, smiling bitterly, “Enjoy, guys! I'm going home. We'll meet in college.”

Saanjhi was about to stop Saumya again, but Rishi quickly said, “Okay, bye bro! See you in college.”

Saumya smiled and looked at Saanjhi before leaving the party lawn.

Rishi pulled Saanjhi close and said, smiling, “You look so hot! Come on, baby, let's dance.”

He took Saanjhi to the dance floor and they started dancing.

After a while, Rishi's phone vibrated, and he took it out, saying to Saanjhi, “I'll be right back.”

In the loud music, Saanjhi gave Rishi a thumbs-up and continued dancing.

A while later, a waiter came with a tray of vodka shots and some soft drinks and started serving. Saanjhi picked up a vodka shot and drank it in one go.

Just then, a boy who had been dancing next to Saanjhi went up to her, took her hands, and put them around his waist. He winked at Saanjhi and said, “Come on, dude, let's dance.”

The boy looked at Saanjhi and laughed, took her waist, and started dancing, lost in the moment. Saanjhi continued dancing normally.

Just then, Rishi arrived from behind, saw Saanjhi dancing with another boy, and got furious. He stopped the DJ and grabbed the boy by the collar without asking anything.

But Suresh, you are not understanding our point," Raghuvira was speaking when suddenly Suresh interrupted him.

    "Stop, Raghuvira!" Suresh silenced Raghuvira.

"Look, Raghuvira, you are my friend, and you know I love Shweta just as much as you do. So, if you won't let Shweta go, I'll send her to study under my supervision. Don't worry, Ansh is there; he'll take good care of Shweta. They are childhood friends, and if they study and live together, they'll come home together during breaks. There's no need to worry so much. Let Shweta go to the city college for her own happiness," Suresh said, asserting his friendship rights over Raghuvira.

After a while, Raghuvira got up from his chair and approached Shweta and Ansh.

Shweta, seeing her father approach, clenched her fists and looked down, feeling nervous.

"Shweta, do you really want to go to a distant city to study?" Raghuvira asked in a stern voice.

Shweta looked at her father fearfully and said, "Yes, Baba, I want to study further."

"Then go, pack your bags, and get admission in the city college, my dear," Raghuvira said, placing his hand on Shweta's head.

"Thank you, Baba," Shweta said, hugging Raghuvira and crying.

Shweta then went to her room.

"I told you, my uncle will convince Baba," Ansh said, sitting beside Shweta.

"Yes, Ansh bhaiya, uncle convinced Baba once again. Now you're happy, aren't you, sister?" Shalini said, hugging Shweta from behind.

"Yes, I'm happy, but I feel something strange," Shweta said, feeling uneasy.

"Don't worry unnecessarily. Everything will be fine," Ansh said, placing his hand on Shweta's hand.

"Shalini, go outside and bring breakfast for uncle and Baba; otherwise, they'll leave," Shweta's mother said, handing Shalini the breakfast tray.

Shalini left, and Shweta's mother sat beside Shweta. Ansh stood up and moved away.

"Why are you standing up? Sit down. I want to talk to you, not just Shweta," Shweta's mother said, looking at Ansh.

"I wasn't going anywhere, I just...," Ansh began to speak when Shweta's mother seated him beside her.

"Ansh, you are very sensible, and I trust you blindly. That's why I'm sending my Shweta so far away with you. I've never taken my loved ones away from me before, and she will stay at your aunt's place. So, you have to do one thing for me," Shweta's mother said, explaining to Ansh.

"Of course, kaki, tell me what I can do. I'll do it and won't let your trust go in vain," Ansh said, looking at Shweta's mother seriously.

"You have to take complete care of my Shweta and never leave her alone in the city. My Shweta is very innocent, and anyone can influence her," Shweta's mother said, placing her hand on Shweta's head.

"Yes, kaki, I know that. I'll take complete care of Shweta and never leave her alone. And if I leave this crazy girl alone, anyone can easily fool her," Ansh said, smiling at Shweta.

"I'm not crazy, you know! And don't be so arrogant in front of my mother. You're talking too much these days. And mother, are you also saying all this to her? I can take care of myself. Don't give her importance and let her be arrogant," Shweta said, glaring at Ansh.

"I'll talk because you are crazy," Ansh said, teasing Shweta.

"Stop this, you two! You're not kids anymore; you're grown-ups. If you keep fighting like this, how will it work?" Shweta's mother said, advising both.

"Mother, Ansh always provokes me and starts the fight. I just respond to him," Shweta said, clarifying to her mother.

"So, I start the fight? That's like the thief scolding the police officer," Ansh said, suppressing his smile.

"I'll tell you, wait," Shweta said, glaring at Ansh.

Shweta stood up and started chasing Ansh. Ansh ran towards the roof, and Shweta followed him. Suddenly, Ansh disappeared, and Shweta looked around on the roof.

"Where did Ansh go?" Shweta said, looking around.

"Ansh, Ansh, where are you? If you're doing some prank, I'm telling you, I'm not in the mood for jokes. And if you're trying to scare me, then..." Shweta was speaking when Ansh shouted from behind, scaring Shweta.

"Hahahahahaha! See how cowardly you are," Ansh said, laughing.

    Shweta turned red with anger.

"Wait, Ansh, I'll show you," Shweta said, running to hit Ansh. Just then, her foot slipped, and she fell on top of Ansh.

Shweta's scattered hair fell on Ansh's face. Ansh looked into Shweta's eyes. As Shweta looked into Ansh's eyes, she quickly looked away and tried to get up, but she couldn't.

"What happened? Why did you scream, Shweta?" Ansh asked, getting up.

"Bolo baby, where do you want to go?" Rishi said as he sat in his car.

"Just now, you said, 'Baby, let's go to a place where no one is, just us.' So, let's go to such a place," the girl said, winking at Rishi.

On reaching the farmhouse, Rishi entered the farmhouse with the girl and sat on a sofa in the hall, saying, "Baby, do me a favor and get me some lemon water. My head is bursting."

"When I'm with you, what do you need lemon water for, my love?" The girl said as she sat on Rishi's lap.

"I don't know, baby. This intoxication is strange," Rishi said, putting his hand on his head.

"I'll take your intoxication away in just two minutes. Don't worry, baby," the girl said as she removed Rishi's blazer.

Rishi smiled at the girl, and she kissed Rishi's cheek.

"Get up, baby, come with me," the girl said, holding Rishi's hand and lifting him from the sofa.

"Where are you taking me, baby?" Rishi asked the girl as he got up from the sofa.

"I'm taking you to get your intoxication down. Come on, baby, why so many questions?" The girl said as she led Rishi to a room.

"Baby, what are we doing in the washroom here?" Rishi asked the girl, looking around the washroom.

"Oh, baby, one more question! Now, you'll be completely silent, and you won't say anything until I say so," the girl said softly, kissing Rishi's ear.

Rishi listened to the girl and pulled her close, saying, "Baby, if you want me to be silent, then okay, I won't say anything, and I won't let you say anything either."

"Meaning......" The girl asked Rishi, smiling.

Rishi didn't answer the girl and pulled her towards him, putting his lips on hers and started kissing.

Ansh came out of Shweta's room and stopped by the door, turning back and saying, "Shalini, help your sister with her packing and give her medicine."

"Okay, I'll give her the medicine. Are you going home?" Shalini asked Ansh.

"Yes, I'm going home," Ansh replied, looking at Shweta.

As Ansh said this, he came out of the room and started walking towards his home. Then, Shweta's father stopped Ansh and said, "Wait, Ansh. I need to talk to you about something important."

"Yes, what is it, uncle? What's the matter?" Ansh asked as he came to Raghuvira.

"I'm sending Shweta under your responsibility. If anything happens to her in the city, no one will be worse off than us," Raghuvira said in his strict voice.

"I'll never leave Shweta alone. She'll always be with me, wherever she goes, she'll go with me, and I'll take care of her. Don't worry, uncle," Ansh replied with seriousness.

"Ansh, I'm giving you my most precious thing, Shweta. I know what she means to me. I love her very much. If my daughter sheds even one tear due to any reason, I'll take her life, and I trust you so much. I hope you won't betray my trust," Raghuvira said, putting his hand on Ansh's shoulder.

After hearing Raghuvira's words, Ansh was a bit frightened, but then he replied with courage, "Uncle, I know you love Shweta very much and would do anything for her. But I'm Shweta's childhood friend, and I understand her very well, so you can be carefree."

Raghuvira smiled and patted Ansh's back and went away from there.

Ansh took a deep breath and said, "Uncle really scared me."

In the room, Shalini said to Shweta with irritation, "Sister, it seems like Ansh brother is doing too much to show his concern for you. Whenever he sees me, he says, 'Shalini, give your sister medicine, Shalini, help your sister pack.' Whenever he sees me, he's always giving me orders, and I'm like his servant. Sister, you should tell him not to give me so many orders."

"He's not showing off, Shalini. He genuinely cares about me," Shweta said, explaining to Shalini.

"I don't think so. I think Ansh brother is just pretending to show concern for you, especially to show Baba and Ma," Shalini said as she packed some of Shweta's belongings in her bag.

"You're absolutely crazy! Ansh is right; you're just crazy," Shweta said, hitting Shalini's head.

"Yes, sister, now you're on Ansh brother's side because you're going to college with him," Shalini said with a pout.

"No, sister, it's not like that. I'll miss you a lot when I'm in college, and most of all, Baba and Ma," Shweta said, and her eyes welled up with tears.

"I'll also miss you a lot, sister. You must call me every day," Shalini said, hugging Shweta.

"Yes, I will," Shweta said, wiping her tears.

"How's your leg pain now? Tell me," Ranjana asked as she entered Shweta's room hastily.

"It's much better. But what's going on, Ma? Why are you asking?" Shweta asked, looking at Ranjana.

"I mean, can you walk? Will you stumble while walking?" Ranjana asked.

"Yes, Ma, I can walk. But what's going on?" Shweta asked, raising her eyebrows.

"Your Baba has called you to his room alone," Ranjana said, putting her hand on Shweta's head.

"But why has Baba called me alone? And if I go to Baba's room with a limp, what will you tell him?" Shalini asked Shweta nervously.

"I'll handle it. But why did Baba call me, Ma?" Shweta asked her mother nervously.
