Ridhyan was still hugged around her neck. After a while, Anshika said, exhausted, "I can't stand anymore."

As soon as she said this, Ridhyan moved away from her, his eyes cast downward, and said, "Sorry...I was just scared."

Anshika spoke in a normal tone, "It's okay...you have every right to."

Upon hearing this from her, Ridhyan kept looking at her intently. Ridhyan's intense and deep gaze made Anshika feel a strange flutter within her for a moment, and she began to glance around awkwardly.

Ridhyan, unaware of Anshika's discomfort, asked, "What perfume do you use?"

    Anshika replied in surprise, "What...?"

Ridhyan said with his innocence, "There was a very nice smell coming from you, and I liked its fragrance, so I held you for so long...now tell me, which perfume do you use?"

Anshika looked at him with cold eyes and said, "Don't you think you've been talking too much lately?"

Ridhyan shook his head with innocence and said, "No, not at all...when do I talk...I'm always quiet, and I'm afraid of you."

Then, standing up and turning around, he said, "By the way, your cabin is so beautiful! And looking at a painting in front of him—this painting is even more beautiful."

Anshika realized that he had easily changed the subject once he felt trapped, but she was well aware of all his actions, so she couldn't fool her.

So, for now, she told herself to avoid these things and said, "We'll discuss all this later. For now, I have a task for you, and you have to do it."

Ridhyan, who hadn't been given any work by Anshika today, said excitedly, "You're giving me work to do!" When Anshika nodded in agreement, he enthusiastically said, "Tell me, what do I need to do? Anything for you..."

Anshika said, "Maria will arrive in a while, and then I'll tell you in detail what you need to do. For now, just sit in this cabin."

    After a while...

Maria hadn't arrived yet, and Anshika and Ridhyan sat facing each other, waiting for her. While Anshika was busy working on her laptop, Ridhyan sat in front of her, looking at her. Anshika was also aware of how Ridhyan was looking at her, but she didn't let him notice.

After a while, due to Ridhyan's continuous staring, Anshika got annoyed and started glaring at Ridhyan. This made him startled, and he looked away, thinking to himself, "My wife is beautiful, and there's no doubt that it's hard to take my eyes off her, but control yourself, Ridhyan...don't be so impatient that she crushes you like wheat. Those dreamy moments of love you're weaving, they'll be crushed if she even suspects."

He was lost in his thoughts when the sound of the gate knocking came.

Anshika said without any emotion, "Come in."

Maria entered and said, "Sorry, ma'am, I'm a bit late...I've put all the details in this file and sent the rest to you via email." With that, she placed the file on the table and left.

Ridhyan stared at her, amazed by her speed, which came like a storm and left like a hurricane.

Anshika said in a loud voice, "Mr. Pratap!"

Her loud voice brought Ridhyan back to reality. He stuttered and said, "Yes..."

Anshika spoke each word distinctly, "Let's discuss the work..."

Ridhyan, once again without fear, said, "Go ahead, who stopped you? And who could even dare to stop you? Even as your husband, I'm afraid of you, so who else could survive your wrath? You're like Goddess Kali..."

Until now, Ridhyan had been speaking carelessly, but he became aware of someone's intense gaze upon him, and his words remained stuck in his throat. He thought to himself, crying inwardly, "You think you're very clever today...it seems you won't escape from Anshika today...that's why you're speaking nonsense."

He somehow managed to say, "Yes..."

Anshika looked at him angrily and said, "Now listen carefully...a few days ago, I made a decision to launch Jindal Corporation into the international market. For this, I decided to work with an American company called Veats, and we have a meeting with them in three days. A team of four people was formed for this project, which has been working on it for the past two months. All the data was stored in the office software system, but someone tried to hack the system to steal the project's file...which resulted in all the data being deleted because the software is designed so that if someone tries to hack and steal data, the data will delete itself instead of going to the hacker. I always have a copy of all the data safely with me, so I don't worry about it, but due to negligence, those four didn't keep a copy with them, and all the data was deleted...so can you help us with this?"

Ridhyan said with an innocent face, "What can I do in this?"

Anshika said profoundly, "I have everyone's biodata who lives around me...I know everything about your work...look, I'm not doubting your intentions, but I know a thing or two about you, and according to that, you can do this for me..."

    To be continued...

Everyone was having breakfast with a troubled mind. Ridhyan was having his breakfast, his attention not on anyone at the moment, just staring at his plate.

Anshika was talking to her HR Department Head, Makhija.

"Mr. Makhija, what's the problem with taking interviews?" Anshika asked Mr. Makhija over the phone.

"Boss, Mrs. Sharma is on leave for three days and it's essential to conduct the interviews now. According to company policies, in Mrs. Sharma's absence, you have to take the interviews and select the Finance Department Head. But I came to know from Maria that you are directly going to meet Mr. Mathur, so I called you. If we can finalize another date for the interviews instead of today," Mr. Makhija said.

"No, it will affect the reputation of Jindal Group. What time are the interviews starting?" Anshika asked.

"Boss, it's just an hour from now," Mr. Makhija informed.

"I'll send someone on my behalf and Maria will mail the rest of the details," Anshika said.

After saying that, she ended the call. By then her breakfast was over, but those three people of the Jindal family were still sitting with gloomy faces, staring at their food.

Ridhyan was lost in his thoughts while having his breakfast. He didn't know why, but Anshika's behavior seemed strange to him. As if there was a bit of softness along with hardness on her face today and there was a strange kind of confusion in her eyes, as if she was fighting a war with herself. He was thinking in his mind, "Is this all because of last night? Should I talk to Anshika or should I leave everything to time?" Ridhyan was innocent, he was far from the trickery of the world and just used to smile, but his understanding was much more in matters of relationships which made him special and different from everyone. He knew and also used to maintain every relationship properly.

He got lost in his thoughts and started rotating the spoon in his plate. Meanwhile, Anshika said while cleaning her hands with a tissue, "Ridhyan."

The moment she said that, everyone's attention turned to her, but Ridhyan was so engrossed in his thoughts that he couldn't even hear her voice.

"Ridhyan," Anshika said again in a louder voice.

By then, Ridhyan's neighbor Ratna Ji hit her foot on Ridhyan's foot because she knew that now Anshika could get angry anytime.

Ridhyan screamed loudly because of the sudden hit, "A….....a.........a!"

"Why did you scream so loudly?" Anshika asked in a stern tone.

"It's nothing," while saying that, he looked towards Ratna Ji and raised his eyebrows.

Then, Anshika again said without any emotion, "Ridhyan."

As soon as he heard her voice, Ridhyan's attention shifted from Ratna Ji to Anshika, and Ratna Ji took a deep breath.

"Yes," Ridhyan said innocently while looking at Anshika.

Anshika said while looking at the time on her phone, "You have to do a task for me. Go to the office and meet Makhija, the HR Department Head, and do the work he tells you to do. And I need the details of the work I gave you yesterday by evening, so please try to do that also."

"Okay, but aren't you going to the office today?" Ridhyan asked while tilting his head.

"Hmm, there is a meeting with Mr. Mathur at Hotel Riaz. It will be late if I go to the office," Anshika said while sending some details to Maria.

Ridhyan thought for a moment and then said, "Okay," then he twinkled his eyes while looking at Ratna Ji.

"Why is it seeming like this is going to trap me?" Ratna Ji asked Namita while looking at her.

"I'm sure, Bhabi. The bomb is going to explode on your head," Namita said while applying her brain like a detective.

By then Ridhyan had already exploded the bomb on all of them. He said innocently, "Anshika Ji."

    "Yes," Anshika replied.

"Can we take Mom with us?" Ridhyan asked.

"Okay, but you have an hour, you have to reach there before 10," Anshika said after thinking for a moment, then she looked at Ratna Ji and said, "Mom, you go with Ridhyan, it will be helpful for him."

Ratna Ji forced a smile and said, "Okay," but she was feeling like crying. One, her stomach was empty, and secondly, she had to go to a kitty party today at Mrs. Sujata's place who lived in their neighborhood. After giving Anshika the responsibilities of the office, she started living freely and now she was even getting out of the habit of going to the office. She was dreaming of going to the kitty party and listening to the gossip of the women in her colony (where only VIP people's houses were) with a spicy expression and now her whole day was going to pass between files.

Namita whispered in her ear while knowing her mental state, "Don't be sad, Bhabi. I will tell you everything in detail with expression in the evening."

"Hmm, now you are my only support," Ratna Ji said with a sad heart.

Manoj Ji, who knew her mental state, was laughing to himself.

"Now I'll go," Anshika said and left.

After that, Ratna Ji got up and said, "Okay, I'll get ready and come," then she looked at Ridhyan and said, "You also get ready."

After saying that, she moved to her room with heavy footsteps and Ridhyan also moved.
