It was around six in the evening. There was a large fair in the outskirts of Chandigarh city. There was a lot of crowd and people were busy enjoying themselves.
In that crowd, a man, whose height was less than five and a half feet, had covered his mouth with a cloth. He was rummaging through the goods at every shop.
From the same crowd, a girl shouted loudly, "Oye Arjun, look at that panipuri... I want them..." Saying this, she started walking towards the panipuri stall. Then she turned towards the boy with her. "Come Arjun..." she said with a smile, which created slight dimples on her cheeks.
She was wearing a pink crop top with black jeans. Her short curly hair was flying in the air as she ran. She was about five feet four inches tall. Fair complexion, small eyes and an innocent face.
"Why do these girls go so crazy looking at a panipuri stall? They are reacting as if they have seen panipuri for the first time in their lives." Arjun made a face seeing her running. He was about five feet ten inches tall, with a fit body and a clean-shaven cute face. "Aanshi... Aanshi, stop yaar." Arjun started running after her, calling out.
Aanshi came running to the golgappa stall. "Bhaiya, make it really spicy." Aanshi said as soon as she got there.
"Yes Bhaiya... put so much chilli in it that her dead body has to be taken from here." Arjun said, making fun of her, on which Aanshi glared at him.
"Why are you jealous of me eating panipuri? You jealous creature." Aanshi said, making a face.
"I brought you here to see the fair, not to eat street food. If you get sick, Biji will scold me."
"Just stop it yaar Arjun... I'll handle Biji. I've come to the fair, so I'll eat panipuri, buy a Patiala dress, and ride that big swing too." Aanshi said in a dramatic manner.
"Do whatever you want, but we have to reach home before seven o'clock." Arjun said.
"Yeah, so..." Aanshi said carelessly, "It's only six o'clock now. We'll go home. It's not like I'm going to settle down here." Saying this, Aanshi went to another stall.
Aanshi was buying things while wandering around there, when her eyes fell on a man. It was the same short man who had covered his face with a black cloth. He had a large black bag with him. Aanshi noticed that the man was going to every shop, scattering a little bit of stuff, and going back without buying anything.
Seeing him, Aanshi muttered, "The boys of Chandigarh are also getting very smart. Look at him, he has been scattering things here and there and window shopping for so long. It would make sense if it was a girl, but I've learned today that boys also do this."
Aanshi's attention got stuck on that man. She started noticing him and kept doing so for a long time. She didn't say anything for a while, but she couldn't resist. She ran to the man.
"Tell me one thing, brother, what do you want to buy?" Aanshi said to him. "And why are you covering your face in the evening?"
The man did not answer. Aanshi shouted at him, "What? Are you a thief who is stealing their goods by stopping at all the shops for a little while?"
"It's none of your business..." he glared at Aanshi and replied.
"Oh. The thief is scolding the policeman. Now the people here will deal with you." Aanshi said to him and then started making noise loudly. "Hey brothers, sisters, uncles, aunties, come quickly. Look, this man is running away after stealing."
Her voice caught the attention of many people. People started moving towards her. Aanshi pulled off the cloth from his face. The man quickly pushed Aanshi and started running from there. In the commotion, his bag fell down.
Aanshi looked at the bag. She went to it and opened it. As soon as she opened the bag, she shouted loudly, "B...Bomb... This is a bomb. This man was planting bombs everywhere."
Her shouting was heard by everyone and soon there was chaos. Everyone started running out of there, shouting bomb, bomb.
Arjun also got scared due to the chaos. He started looking for Aanshi here and there.
"Wherever this Aanshi goes, she creates a ruckus." Arjun said, holding his head.
Everyone there started looking for their loved ones and in this process the stampede increased. People were getting out as quickly as possible. Among them, there was an explosion inside a small soft toys shop. All the goods inside came out in one go. There was a fire there. But the blast was small.
This blast increased the stampede there even more. Aanshi was still shouting bomb, bomb, helping people to get out.
Some distance away from the crowd, two men were standing. One of them had a briefcase in his hand and he was wearing an orange helmet. The man next to him was wearing a black suit and he had a mask on his face. Perfect muscular body and about six feet tall. His deep black eyes were glaring at Aanshi angrily.
"We were doing our work nicely, but I don't know from where this girl shouted bomb, bomb and ruined the entire secret mission." The man in the suit said, seeing Aanshi shouting.
"Sir, what will we do now? It will not be easy to defuse the bomb in so much chaos." The helmet man said.
"I know. That's why instead of evacuating the place after hearing the news of the bomb being planted, the team had quietly ordered to defuse the bomb. But this girl spoiled everything." The man said in a composed tone.
"The explosion that just happened was small. According to the lead, there is a conspiracy to plant five to seven small bombs, and one big bomb here. If there was not so much chaos here, we could have found it easily, but in so much crowd." The man said worriedly.
"You do your work. Tell the rest of the team members to do their work quietly as well. I'll try to find the bomb." Saying this, the man left to find the bomb.
Everyone was going out, but the man was going inside to find the bomb. Aanshi saw that man going inside. She shouted loudly from there. "Hey, you suit boot wearing, educated illiterate man... Have you gone crazy? There's a bomb inside and you're going inside instead of going out."
The man looked at Aanshi angrily. "I'll deal with you later, you shouting girl... You ruined the whole plan and you are still standing there and stopping me from going inside." He said in his mind and ignoring Aanshi's words, went inside.
The team was engaged in defusing the bomb. After one bomb blast, there was another small blast, people were in panic.
"Aanshi you little brat." Arjun saw Aanshi, he ran to her and said, "What was the need to create so much chaos here? People have panicked unnecessarily, we should have called the police instead of shouting bomb, bomb here."
"It takes time for the police to come, until they came, people's lives could have been in danger." Aanshi replied.
"Good, now leave all this and come out with me." Arjun held Aanshi's hand and started taking her out. Then Aanshi freed her hand and said, "You go, I'll take care of myself. I just saw a man going inside. I think that man can't hear, that's why he doesn't know about the stampede here. Poor man, I'm feeling very bad for him Arjun." Aanshi said innocently.
"Look Aanshi, you can't put your life in danger in order to save his life. Now leave your stubbornness and go home." Arjun replied.
"I'm not going. I saw that man. He wouldn't have gone too far. You go out and start the car, I'll bring him." Saying this, Aanshi freed her hand.
"But I'll leave you..." Arjun could finish his sentence before Aanshi left him there and started running inside.
"Aanshi..." he shouted loudly from behind.
Aanshi turned back and shouted, "Don't worry, I'll be back in 5 minutes. Don't follow me."
Arjun went and stood near the door and started waiting for Aanshi. Aanshi was going inside. While going, in a hurry, she collided with the handler of the swing and fell down.
She saw that there was a big bomb there in which a 5-minute timer was showing. Seeing it, she shouted loudly, "Bomb... It has a 5-minute timer. It's about to explode."
That man was nearby and hearing Aanshi's voice, looked towards her. His attention went to the bomb lying down. Then he looked around, everyone had gone out.
"Crazy girl, when it is visible that it has a 5-minute timer and it is about to explode, then what were you doing sitting near it and counting time?" He said irritably.
He quickly left a message for his team member to come there and ran to Aanshi.
Just then, a small blast happened a little distance away from that bomb.
"The bomb is about to explode, I'm going to die." Aanshi got scared and fainted. The man had reached near her.
"Let's save you too, you shouting girl." He said and picked Aanshi up in his arms.
The team members had reached there by then and got engaged in defusing the bomb. In the midst of all this, he was carrying Aanshi out in his arms.
The team had defused the bomb. Aanshi opened her eyes and found herself in someone's arms. She could not see properly but she could see a blurry face of that man. Slightly fair face, deep black eyes and a slight smile of relief on his face. This was the only blurry glimpse of him that Aanshi saw.
Aanshi was lying unconscious at the back door of the fairground. Arjun came that way looking for her. He saw Aanshi unconscious and started trying to wake her up.
Arjun sprinkled water on Aanshi's face and said, "Aanshi... Aanshi, wake up..."
The splash of water made Aanshi squint her eyes. When she opened her eyes, Arjun was in front of her, trying to wake her up by splashing water.
"Am I alive?" Aanshi said, getting up.
"No... you're dead and I'm Yamraj," Arjun said jokingly. "Of course, you're alive. But how did you get here near the back door of the fair?"
When Arjun asked, Aanshi started trying to remember. "I don't remember, but a man. That masked man... he picked me up and brought me outside," Aanshi said in a lost voice.
"Which masked man?" Arjun asked.
"The tall one, who was wearing a black suit, and... and his perfume smelled amazing," Aanshi was trying to remember about him.
"Okay, think about him later. Grandma is calling repeatedly. She's been very worried since she heard about the bomb news here," Arjun said.
"Dad didn't find out about this, did he?" Aanshi asked, worried.
"What difference would it make even if he did? According to him, you're in London," Arjun replied, making a face, which made Aanshi laugh.
After that, Arjun went to get the car from the parking area, while Aanshi's eyes were still searching for the man who had saved her life.
__________
A multi-story building, with the word "ARTISTIC" written in large letters on top, the masked man and his team were in the meeting room there.
They were all without masks now.
"Thank God, all the bombs were defused in time, otherwise that girl would have made a ruckus and ruined everything," one team member said.
The man didn't respond to him. Just then, a girl came running in. She was wearing very tight pants and a loose shirt tucked in. She was tall and thin and looked like a model. Her hair was golden black highlighted, which was just a little longer than her shoulders.
"Are you alright Aman? You guys didn't even think it was necessary to tell me," she said, hugging him.
"I'm fine Lavi. And everything happened very quickly, so there was no chance to call you," Aman moved her away from him and said, "Everything was handled in time."
"Aman Sir is right. Everything was handled in time Lavanya Ma'am, otherwise that screaming girl would have messed up the whole mission," one of the boys said.
"Screaming girl? Which screaming girl?" Lavanya asked, looking at Aman.
"Yes, there was a girl, who was trying to save everyone's life on her own. She saw the bomb there and created a commotion, which caused chaos," Aman replied.
Hearing him, Lavanya rolled her eyes and said, "Often people do stupid things in an attempt to show bravery and increase the difficulties of us secret agents."
"But she didn't know that there was a secret agent there," one of the boys in the team said in support of Aanshi.
Lavanya glared at him. "What if something had happened to the people there because of her good intentions? Our team members could have lost their lives because of the chaos," Lavanya said in a slightly angry tone.
"Okay, enough Lavi..." Aman interrupted and calmed Lavanya down, "The situation is under control. What's the point of thinking about what didn't happen... Guys, you guys leave from here quickly, give the rest of the updates to Sir."
"Yes, this is Artistic's office, not a place to hold secret agents' meetings. It would be better next time if you guys don't hold your meeting here," Lavanya said.
Hearing Lavanya, the rest of the team members stood up and started leaving. One of the boys muttered, "Yes, as if we don't know that this is Artistic's office and our boss is also the owner of this company along with being a secret agent... It makes sense for him but why does this Lavanya Ma'am stick to him?"
Lavanya heard him but didn't respond. After they left, she looked at Aman and hugged him again.
"You should have told me. I was worried," Lavanya said in a worried tone.
"I told you Lavi, everything has been handled. And don't pay attention to what they say. Whatever we do secretly, but in front of people, I am Aman Kapoor, the owner of Artistic, and you are my manager Lavanya Bajaj," Aman said, stroking her hair.
"And I'm waiting for Lavanya Bajaj to become Mrs. Lavanya Kapoor. After that, I'll deal with each and every one of them," Lavanya said.
Aman didn't answer her but he had a smile on his face. After saying good night to each other, they both went to their respective homes.
__________
On the other side, Aanshi and Arjun reached home. Seeing her, her grandmother quickly came to her in her wheelchair.
"Aanshi, my child, are you alright?" she said in a heavy voice. Aanshi sat next to her and held her hand and said, "Yes Grandma, I'm fine. You should be proud of your granddaughter for saving so many people there."
"When did this happen?" Arjun muttered, hearing Aanshi.
"Really?" Aanshi's grandmother said in surprise.
"Yes, really Grandma. You know I caught a man there who had a big bag with him. You know he had put a lot of bombs inside it. He managed to escape from me but I started shouting loudly there, so people ran out of there to save their lives. I even took some people out myself. One of them couldn't hear. I Grandma... your granddaughter risked her life to go inside to save that boy." Aanshi was telling them a long story. While telling the whole story there, Aanshi was lost in the memories of the man who had saved her and taken her out.
"Oh my God. Then what happened?" Her grandmother Preeto asked, listening to her very carefully.
Hearing her grandmother's voice, she came back to reality and said, "He was a weak, light, fragile man. You won't believe it, he fainted after seeing the bomb. Then I picked him up in my delicate arms and brought him out."
"Very good," Aanshi's grandmother said, showering her with love.
Hearing this version of Aanshi's story, Arjun was glaring at her.
"Okay Grandma, leave all this, there was so much stampede there that I didn't get a chance to eat anything. What's for dinner?"
"Oh, you're hungry too. I thought your stomach would be full after telling such tall tales," Arjun said, making a face.
"He's just talking nonsense Grandma, don't pay attention to him. What's for dinner?" Aanshi changed the subject.
"There's nothing for dinner. You guys went out so I thought you'd eat there. Shanti came to cook, she only cooked for me and left," Grandma replied.
"No problem Grandma. This Arjun is here, isn't he." While saying this, Aanshi turned to Arjun and said, "The world's greatest chef is a failure Grandma, Arjun makes such good Maggi."
"There's no need to flatter me. I'm going to the kitchen. Preeto Grandma, I'm your friend's grandson but your granddaughter has made me her personal servant," Arjun said and went to the kitchen.
"So what? You're also living in our house for free. We never said, bring it Arjun, give the monthly rent. Did you see Grandma, as a friend he can't even do this much for me," Aanshi shouted from behind.
Preeto Ji smiled seeing their bickering.
"Okay, fine Baba... I'm coming to help..." Aanshi said and followed Arjun.

Aanshi's story is going on separately. By the way, she has told quite a few tall tales... Be sure to comment after reading.
After leaving the office, Aman went straight home. As soon as he got there, he took a bath to relax, and then sat in his home's garden for dinner.
Seeing him sitting alone, his mother, Chetna ji, came to him.
"What's the matter, Mr. Kapoor? Lost in whose thoughts?" she said, sitting down next to him.
"No one's," Aman replied in a soft voice.
"If nothing happened, then why is this storm so calm again today?" Chetna asked.
"There was a lot of work in the office, that's why I'm tired. Nothing else," Aman replied in a tired voice.
"It's strange, isn't it, Aman, you're tired, but the tiredness isn't showing on your face. By the way, you weren't in the office all day today. So what work was it that made you so tired?" Chetna ji asked.
"So you went to the office in my absence," Aman said, glaring at her.
"Looks like your girlfriend didn't give you the news of my arrival. This time it really is magic," Chetna said, rolling her eyes.
Hearing Chetna ji's words, Aman smiled slightly and then said, "Don't you like Lavi even one percent?"
Chetna made a face and said, "Not even 0.01%. Do you really want to marry that robot-like girl? I mean, who is that perfect?"
"You're jealous of her perfection," Aman said, raising an eyebrow.
"How can I be jealous of that walking, talking skeleton? I don't even like the way she talks." Suddenly, Chetna ji stood up and started walking in Lavanya's style. Seeing her do that, Aman had a smile on his face. She came to Aman in Lavanya's style and, holding his hand, said, "Are you all right, Aman? You were a minute and a half late to the office today. I was worried about you."
"You should be happy that she cares so much about me, and you're making fun of her? This is not fair, Mrs. Chetna Kapoor," Aman said.
Chetna ji sat back on the chair. She made her facial expressions serious and then said, "Thank God your grandmother isn't here. When she sees her, she'll turn the whole neighborhood upside down. There's still time, Aman, I say you should break up with her."
Hearing Chetna ji's words, Aman started coughing. She quickly handed him a glass of water. He drank the water and calmed himself down.
"Mom, you make very good jokes. Now let me go..." saying this, Aman started to leave. Chetna ji quickly ran in front of him.
"Biji won't like your Lavanya," Chetna said again.
Hearing her words, Aman rolled his eyes and said in response, "For your information, she doesn't even like you."
"So what? Your father liked me, didn't he? He loved me very much," Chetna ji said.
"Just like that, Lavanya likes me," Aman said and started to leave.
Chetna ji shouted from behind, "And love?"
"Good night, Mom... let's talk tomorrow," Aman brushed off her words and went to his room.
"How many times have I told this boy, don't leave my conversation in the middle. I hate this," Chetna ji muttered and then went to her room.
________
Aman was watching the house footage through a tablet in his room. When he saw Chetna ji going to sleep in her room, he turned off the tablet screen and put it on the table.
"It's really difficult to make Mom understand. Now how do I tell her how Lavi and I are connected? I can't tell anyone else my truth, so Lavi will prove to be an ideal life partner for me. We both belong to the same profession and we don't need to hide anything from each other," Aman said to himself.
After Chetna ji fell asleep, he picked up that tablet and his mobile and left in his car to go somewhere.
__________
In a seven-star hotel room in Chandigarh, a boy of about 26 years was sitting. He was wearing a black custom-made suit. There was no expression in his hazel-gray eyes. He had a cigarette in his hand.
Then he took a few puffs of the cigarette and then put it out in the ashtray next to him.
"I can't believe that even after failing, you people can stand in front of me like shameless people?" he cast an angry glance at both of them.
"Boss, we tried our best, but I don't know where they got the lead of this blast from and... and a girl present there spoiled the remaining work," the man present there replied, looking down.
"A girl? Are you guys kidding me?" he stood up, shouting angrily.
"Boss, he's right," the girl present there agreed with him. "There was a girl there who saw our man planting the bomb. After that, she started shouting and there was a stampede there. She even caught our man. It was good that he ran away from there."
"Disgusting. You guys couldn't even do a small job. When you can't do such a small job, there's no place for useless people like you in our big plan," the man said angrily. He picked up a revolver lying nearby.
Both the boy and the girl looked at each other's faces. The man came to them with his revolver.
Before he could take his next step, the boy fell at his feet and started begging. "Just give us one last chance. We promise you that this time we won't fail."
"Maybe no one here has told you that Vidhik Rana doesn't give anyone a second chance," it was Vidhik Rana. While speaking, he put the tip of his revolver right in the middle of the boy's forehead.
"Please me." The man hadn't even finished speaking when Vidhik Rana shot him in the very next moment. Because of the silencer on the revolver, there was no sound of the bullet there.
The man lay in a heap on the ground, while the girl was trembling with fear and there were beads of sweat on her forehead.
"What happened to you, sweetheart? Why are you trembling like this?" speaking, Vidhik came very close to the girl and lovingly caressed his cheek on her cheek.
The girl swallowed her saliva and somehow mustered the courage to say, "Sir, please let me go. I'm ready to do anything for this. Please don't kill me."
"Anything?" Vidhik looked into her eyes.
"Yes, anything," the girl said with a smile and, gathering courage, came very close to Vidhik.
Vidhik's hands were on the girl's waist. He held her tightly and started kissing her lips. The girl could see that this was the only way to save her life. She was supporting Vidhik in every way.
After kissing, Vidhik pushed her onto the bed. There was a smile on the girl's face. The girl was lying on the bed and Vidhik was on top of her. Suddenly, Vidhik took out his revolver and put it on her chest.
"Interesting. I liked this way of yours too," the girl grabbed his collar and started pulling him closer.
"But I don't. Why isn't any girl like her? You. You can never be her."
The girl looked at him with questioning eyes. Before she could ask anything, Vidhik fired two consecutive bullets at her chest.
The girl had also died like that boy, and in the hotel room, the boy's dead body was lying on the ground, while the girl's was on the bed. Even after killing both of them, there were no expressions on Vidhik's face. He was comfortably smoking a cigarette on the couch there.
____________
Aman reached a small place in his car. It was a small hotel. Aman parked his car some distance away and started going inside from there.
There was an old man at the reception, who was the owner of the hotel. As soon as Aman came to him, he said, "What's up, sir... you look quite rich, then what are you doing in this cheap hotel?"
"I want to buy this hotel," Aman replied.
Hearing his words, the man's eyes widened. "What? Have you come after doing some kind of intoxication? Did you only find me to fool at one o'clock at night?"
"You tell the price..."
"Okay, you think you're Ambani... if you have so much money, then buy a decent hotel... not even 10 people stay here... the condition of the rooms is also bad..."
"I said tell me the price," Aman said emphatically.
"20 lakhs... do you have it to give? Don't know where..." the man hadn't even finished speaking when Aman took out a check from his jacket and, after signing it, handed it to the man and said, "My lawyer will complete the rest of the legal formalities. Come to the 'Artistic' office tomorrow evening."
The man looked at him with wide eyes.
"25 lakhs." He still couldn't believe it. Sometimes he was looking at the check, and sometimes at Aman..!
"How many people are staying in the hotel right now?" Aman asked.
"2 people. That too. That." The man was hesitating to tell him the whole thing.
"The hotel should be empty in the next 5 minutes," Aman said, looking at his watch.
The man agreed to his words and ran upstairs. As soon as he left, Aman took out his mobile and called someone.
"I'm sending the location... call the team members for a meeting," saying this, he cut the call.
Everyone including the hotel owner had left from there. In a short while, a big car was standing there. Two men and Lavanya came out of it.
"I don't know where Aman finds such strange places for meetings," looking at the hotel, Lavanya made a face and went inside.
°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°
Aman had immediately bought a small hotel a little away from the city. He called his team members there for a meeting.
It was about 2:00 AM. Lavanya and two men from Aman's team reached the hotel. They were asked to come to the room upstairs for the meeting. They went straight there as soon as they arrived.
While waiting for them, Aman was watching the footage of the house on his tablet. "I don't know how long they'll take. I hope Mom doesn't wake up." He said to himself.
Just then, Lavanya knocked on the door from outside.
"Looks like they're here." Saying this, Aman got up from the bed and went to open the door.
"Took you guys a long time to get here." He said to them.
"Yeah, this place is quite far from the city. If you ever have to hold such urgent meetings in the future, look for a place in the city." One of the men said.
"Mr. Gupta is right." Lavanya agreed with him. "This place is quite cheap as well as being far from the city."
"To be honest, I liked this place and found it quite interesting too." The other boy said, looking around with a smile.
"Then you should be happy Jas, I have bought this hotel and from now on, we will hold our meetings here." As soon as Aman said this, the three of them looked at him with wide eyes.
"Are you serious?" Lavanya said in surprise, "Just to handle some private meetings, you cannot buy a hotel."
"Yes, I can." Aman replied.
"But we work for the government and you don't need to spend your private property on all this. The government has already arranged plenty of places for us to hold secret meetings." Mr. Gupta said.
While Lavanya and Mr. Gupta were expressing their displeasure over Aman buying the hotel, Jas was smiling and carefully looking at the room.
"I like your attitude bro." Jas said. He was new to their team and younger than them, and Mr. Gupta was the oldest. He was about 45 years old.
While everyone else was dressed smartly in suits, Jas was wearing a loose T-shirt over denim capris and a cap on his head.
"I don't know who took him into the team? Looking at you, it doesn't seem like you are serious about your work. You should leave all this and join a football team. Look at your dressing sense...." Lavanya made a face looking at him.
"You guys stop arguing with each other. Lavanya, you know very well how talented Jas is. And Mr. Gupta, as for buying the hotel, I know very well how to use it according to my needs. We should finish the meeting before my mom wakes up." Aman scolded them.
Everyone fell silent and sat down there. The expressions on everyone's faces were serious.
"I don't need to tell you guys why this meeting has been called. Today, a criminal in our grasp escaped because of a girl." Aman said.
"Don't worry AK, we'll catch him again." Lavanya said, placing her hand on Aman's hand.
Seeing her do that, Aman glared at her and, removing his hand from hers, said further, "None of us saw that man. They are planning something big. In such a situation, it is very important to catch that man."
"Did that girl see the face of the man who was planting the bomb there?" Mr. Gupta asked.
"Can't say... Even if she has seen his face, we can't go to her and say who we are, nor can we ask her anything about it."
Jas was listening to all their बातें attentively. "I can try to talk to that girl. She might still be suspicious of you people, but not of me."
"Well, at least you admitted that you don't look like one of us." Lavanya mocked him.
Jas didn't reply to her. He completely ignored her and asked Aman, "Bro, do you know the girl's name or identity?"
"No... but I can never forget that girl. I'm sure that wherever she is, there will be a lot of noise and a crowd gathered around her." Aman told them about Aanshi.
"Why? Is that girl a celebrity?" Mr. Gupta asked.
"Not a celebrity, but she definitely gathers people around her by shouting. Leave that girl, we have to give an update to the high command about the mission's failure," Aman said in disappointment.
"And if that happens, this mission will be snatched from our hands and given to someone else. A mere girl snatched such an important case of our career from us. Is there nothing that can be done now?" Lavanya asked.
"I also don't want this case to be given to someone else. We have been working on it for the last 6 months. But at the same time, the news will reach them in 2 days if not today." Aman said. He was very upset about the failure of this mission.
"If we somehow find that girl, try to ask her about that man, and catch him, then maybe things can work out." Jas gave an idea.
"I agree with Jas." Mr. Gupta said, agreeing with Jas's point, "We should try to find that girl, until then, keep this news confidential. Maybe a miracle will happen and we will find that girl."
Hearing their words, Aman smiled slightly and then replied, "Mr. Gupta. This is life, a real life, not a TV serial or drama, where miracles happen."
"So what if miracles don't happen, efforts do happen, right? You give the updates related to the mission after 2 days, until then, we will try our best to find that girl." Lavanya put her hand on his back.
Aman thought about it for a while and then agreed with them. "Okay. But I can't wait for more than 2 days."
"Thanks bro. And don't worry, I will find out about that girl." Jas said excitedly.
Everyone agreed with him. They were talking about other minor things related to the mission, while Lavanya was thinking something else in her mind.
"I also want to meet you, after all, who are you who ruined all our hard work in one fell swoop. Trust me, you will have to pay a very big price for this. These people may not say anything to you, but I, I will never forgive you for this." Lavanya muttered.
After the conversation was over, the meeting ended there.
"Okay, let's go now. And remember one thing, we only have two days." Aman reminded them all once again.
After everything was finalized, everyone was about to leave from there. Everyone had come down the stairs and was heading towards their car, but Jas was still standing in the hotel compound, looking at it.
"Bro. Since you have bought this hotel, if you don't mind, can I stay here for a few days?" Jas shouted from inside.
"Okay. But be careful, neither you nor this hotel should come into anyone's eyes. Everything should look normal." Aman had given him permission to stay.
"I said don't worry bro, everything will be normal here... absolutely normal." Jas replied.
"Whenever he says don't worry, I start getting more tension." Aman said softly.
"By the way Jas, you finally found a place to live." Lavanya called out to Jas. In response, he made a face at her.
After everything was set, they left from there to their respective homes. Jas was still standing there.
_______
It was 9:00 in the morning. At Aanshi's house, her maid Shanti had finished cleaning and had prepared breakfast. The rest of the household chores were also done.
Before going back, Shanti came to her grandmother Preeto and said, "Biji, it's 9:00 in the morning and your granddaughter hasn't woken up yet. If this continues, what will she do in her in-laws' house?"
"Hey girl, why are you taking tension about her in-laws and in-laws' house? And why would we find such a groom for our Aanshi who won't even let her sleep peacefully." Preeto ji replied carelessly.
"I have finished my work, now you and your granddaughter know. I have made parathas for breakfast, I will come back at lunchtime to cook." Saying this, Shanti left from there making a face.
After she left, Preeto ji took her wheelchair inside Aanshi's room. She was still sleeping carelessly.
"Aanshi. Get up beta, Shanti just said that if you get up so late, what will you do in your in-laws' house? Come on beta, get up." She started waking Aanshi by coming near her bed.
"Let me sleep dadi, and why are you paying attention to Shanti's words? Even though her name is Shanti, everyone knows how much unrest she spreads." Aanshi said in a sleepy voice.
"Leave Shanti, but pay a little attention to yourself. It's been 2 months since you came here, but you still haven't thought about going back." Preeto ji said lovingly.
Hearing the mention of going back from her grandmother's mouth, Aanshi got up. There was sadness on her face.
"I know you don't want to go back but." Preeto ji stopped while speaking.
"But what dadi? When you know everything, then what. I don't know, I don't want to go back." Aanshi replied, her face showing sadness as well as fear, which Preeto ji was still unaware of. Aanshi got up and went to the bathroom so that Preeto ji would not notice the expressions on her face.
°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°
Aanshi's grandmother, Preeto Ji, was in her room, telling her to go back. Hearing the word "go back" brought fear and sadness to Aanshi's face. Aanshi got up and went to the bathroom. When she came back after a while, Preeto Ji was still there.
Before she could say anything, Aanshi spoke first, "Please, Grandma, I don't want to go back there under any circumstances. Why don't you all understand that I can't live without you?"
"I know, child, but your studies are just as important. I can't hide it from your Papa any longer," Preeto Ji said in a low voice.
"What, Grandma, it's not like you're hiding some important confidential file from Dad. Everything has been fine for the past 2 months. Why did you suddenly remember about going back now?" Aanshi said, making a face.
"I didn't suddenly remember anything, Aanshi. Your Papa called last night. He's coming here in 3 days. I've been hiding everything from him until now, but when he comes here, he'll find out the truth," Preeto Ji explained.
Hearing her, Aanshi made a face and sat down, holding her head. "Now this is a strange problem. Why does he want to come here?" she asked.
"What childish things are you saying? This is his house, where else will he go if not here?" Preeto Ji scolded her.
"He'll go to where he's been living for the past 12 years," Aanshi said angrily and went back to the bathroom.
Seeing her so upset, Preeto Ji became sad. Her eyes were moist. She came out of Aanshi's room. Outside, she saw Arjun getting ready to go to the office.
Seeing Preeto Ji sad, Arjun came to her and said, "Why is there sadness on this beautiful face today? Has something happened, Grandma?"
Preeto Ji nodded in response to his question, "Shiv called last night. He's coming back."
"Then I can understand the reason for your trouble. But how is Shiv Uncle suddenly coming here? Does he know that Aanshi..."
"No, he doesn't know anything about it yet. He still thinks that Aanshi is in London for her further studies," Preeto Ji said sadly. "But how long will I be able to hide this truth? Aanshi doesn't want to go back. In such a situation, Shiv will find out that she has been here for the past 2 months."
"You're taking unnecessary tension. You can tell him that Aanshi has come here for a vacation," Arjun suggested an idea.
Aanshi was coming out of her room and heard Arjun's words. Hearing him, she got even angrier.
"So what will happen if he finds out that I want to stay here? I don't understand why you all want to keep me away from yourselves?" Aanshi shouted, coming outside.
No one answered her. There was silence for a while. The silence there irritated Aanshi even more.
"Okay fine... if I'm a burden to you people, then I'll leave from here, but let me make one thing clear, I'm not going back to London now. When Mom died, I was small and didn't say anything against Dad's decision at that time, but not now. How can you people be so cruel? An 11-year-old girl who has lost her mother, who needed the most love and affection, you sent her so far away from yourselves." Aanshi said everything in one breath. Tears started flowing from her eyes as she spoke. She sat down on the couch there.
"Grandma, you people have to understand that I also need love and family. I also want to live with you people, not with strangers there," Aanshi said, sobbing.
"Hey monkey, you won't get rid of this habit of creating a scene by making noise. Don't worry, we'll convince Shiv Uncle," Arjun said, trying to calm her down.
"But you also have to promise, until Shiv agrees, you'll keep telling him that you've come here for a vacation," Preeto Ji said.
"I'm not going to say anything like that. You don't know your granddaughter yet. I'll find some way to stay here," Aanshi replied.
Preeto Ji and Arjun both didn't understand what she meant. "What are you saying? Explain a little more clearly," Arjun asked.
"That's all later... I'll get ready and come. Don't go anywhere without me," Aanshi said and quickly went to her room.
She quickly took out her clothes and went to the bathroom to take a bath, while outside, Arjun and Grandma were still unable to understand Aanshi's intentions.
"Grandma, Aanshi might do something wrong in her innocence. Why don't you talk to Shiv Uncle?" Arjun said as soon as Aanshi went inside.
"Do you think I haven't tried to explain to him?" Preeto Ji took a deep breath and said, "I also objected to his decision when he sent Aanshi to study abroad after Anu's passing. After sending Aanshi, he settled all his work in Mumbai."
"You can say that you feel lonely, so you kept Aanshi with you," Arjun said.
"I told Shiv after Bauji passed away, but he instead asked me to come to Mumbai. I don't understand why he doesn't want Aanshi to come to India," Preeto Ji said with surprise.
They were continuing their conversation when Aanshi came there. Seeing her there, both of them became silent.
"Now will you tell me what you've thought for the future?" Arjun asked.
"Right now, I'm thinking of doing some shopping after breakfast, and after that, I'm thinking of coming to your office and having lunch together. After lunch... I'll see what to do after lunch," Aanshi told her entire schedule.
"So, you wanted to go out, that's why you stopped me. Aanshi's child, I'll be late for office," Arjun said, irritated.
"Yes, the way she left from here, I thought she was planning something big," Preeto Ji also agreed with Arjun.
"I haven't thought of much yet, but that doesn't mean I won't do anything. Okay, Arjun, when I come to your office for lunch, please give me a tour of your office. I also want to see what kind of company it is that gives jobs to even incompetent people," Aanshi said, looking at Arjun and laughing.
He made a face in response. Arjun and Aanshi had breakfast and left from there, while after they left, Preeto Ji became busy watching TV serials as usual.

Vidhik Rana was present in the same hotel. After killing the boy and the girl that night, he had changed his room.
At around 11:00 in the morning, after completing his routine, he was sitting in the room and having breakfast. A waiter was standing near him.
"Have those two dead bodies been removed?" he asked.
"Yes sir, both bodies have been cremated," the waiter replied.
"Very good... now you can leave from here. I'll call you if I need anything."
"Sir, Melissa Ma'am had called. She must have reached the hotel by now. Should I send her to your room?" he asked, fearing.
Vidhik nodded in response. As soon as he said yes, the waiter went out from there. As soon as the waiter left, the girl he was talking about came inside. She was about 35 years old, who had worn a very short dress. Her hair color was blonde.
"I didn't expect this from you. Our such a big work has failed and you are sitting here comfortably having breakfast," she shouted at him as soon as she came inside.
Vidhik didn't answer her and was comfortably having breakfast.
"I am talking to you. Why haven't you done anything in this matter yet?" Melissa asked again.
"First of all, our mission hasn't failed. Just the first step hasn't been successful. The people who told me that the mission has failed are no longer in this world. Now what more can I do than this?" Vidhik said carelessly.
"You can't take someone's life for your hobby," Melissa angrily came to him and grabbed his collar.
"Uff... Melissa... if you weren't my enemy, I would have truly fallen in love with you," Vidhik said in an intense voice.
"Can't you forget the enmity between us for 2 minutes? Even though we are enemies, we have taken a huge amount for this work and we are going to do it together. The man who was planting the bomb there told me that the whole plan was ruined because of a girl. Means a normal girl ruined our such a big work before it even started and you are sitting here comfortably having breakfast," Melissa was constantly shouting at him angrily.
"Yes, I had forgotten about that girl. Last night those two had told me about her. Okay, I have to meet that man who was planting the bomb," Vidhik said.
"You can't meet him. He is a very useful man and I won't let you take his life," Melissa replied.
Listening to Melissa, Vidhik smiled and said, "Looks like you have started knowing me quite well in the last 6 months. You can't stop me from killing him, but before that I have to take someone else's life."
"What do you mean?" Melissa asked in surprise.
"Only that man has seen that girl. Tell him that if he values his life, he should bring that girl safely in front of me. I will punish him for what he has done in such a way that his soul will tremble," Vidhik's voice reflected a frenzy and hatred for that girl.
Melissa smiled seeing this form of his. "Very good... I will see you doing this with my own eyes."
Melissa called that man at the same time and told him to bring Aanshi. After talking to him, Vidhik and Melissa left from there to go somewhere.

Aanshi is in danger. Let's see what's next. See you in the next part.
The next morning, Aman reached the Artistic office. He was late because he had been out until late the previous night. Lavanya was sitting in his cabin, waiting for him.
As soon as Aman entered his cabin, he saw Lavanya and wished her good morning with a small smile.
"I knew you would be late. If you don't feel like working, you can rest in the office. I'll take care of the work," Lavanya said.
"There are other people here to take care of the office work. It's more important to find the man and find out about their mission," Aman replied.
"Jas is working on it," Lavanya said.
"Jas isn't the only member of our team. I told Mr. Gupta to question the people who provided the news about the bomb blast. You should take Jas with you. If there's a camera in or around the fair, our job could be easier," Aman, being their head, gave the order accordingly.
Lavanya agreed to his point. The conversation between the two was quite normal, even though Lavanya had been waiting in his cabin for a long time to talk to him.
When Lavanya didn't leave even after Aman gave the instructions, he asked in surprise, "What happened? I've told you what you need to do, yet you're still sitting here."
"Yes, because I needed to talk to you about something important," Lavanya replied in a low voice.
"What? Look, Lavi, if what you want to talk about is related to our personal life, I'm not in the mood for it right now. Neither is it the right time, nor do I have time for all this..." Aman said sternly.
"But what do I tell my mom and dad? I already have to lie to them because I joined the secret agency," Lavanya said helplessly.
"If you're already telling so many lies, tell one more," Aman said almost shouting.
"When you've committed to marriage, why are you running away? I don't understand how our marriage will affect our work?" Lavanya said angrily.
"The effect will be that I don't want any mother-in-law drama at home," Aman got angry because Lavanya kept bringing it up.
Lavanya went silent because he shouted in anger. Her eyes were wet. Seeing her upset, Aman controlled his anger and got up and went to her.
Aman sat on the chair next to her and took her hand in his, saying, "Please give me some time."
"How much more time, Aman? I've been giving you time for the past year," Lavanya said.
"I know you're staying because of me," Aman tried to explain to her lovingly.
"I'm not staying because of you, I'm staying because I love you. Aman, I know your mom doesn't like me. But sooner or later, she'll have to accept me," Lavanya replied.
"Even before her, I can't accept the fact that if I don't love you, how will I spend my whole life with you?" Aman became thoughtful after listening to Lavanya.
Seeing him quiet, Lavanya asked, "Is there any problem?"
"No, there's no problem. Don't worry, Lavi, I can't allow anyone else to come into my life besides you. According to our work, our secrecy, you will prove to be the best life partner for me. Just give me some time," Aman said.
Lavanya agreed with him. But she was still sad. To cheer her up, Aman pulled his chair closer to Lavanya and brought her very close, holding her by the waist.
"Come on, smile quickly now. We only have two days, Lavi," Aman said with a faint smile.
"Can't you think of anything other than work?" Lavanya smiled slightly and put her lips on Aman's. She kissed him lightly.
"I love you so much, Aman," Lavanya said, pulling away from Aman.
"And I promise that I will never hurt you," Aman replied.
After the argument, this short loving conversation had removed Lavanya's displeasure. She said goodbye to Aman and went to her work.
After she left, Aman picked up a paper and pencil and began to sketch.
"Even though I don't know your name, I can never forget your face, screaming girl. Maybe Jas can find you through this sketch," Aman said to himself.
"Light brown, small eyes. Small nose and a smile on her face... Those slight dimples, light curly hair waving in the air..." Aman was talking to himself while sketching.
In a short time, he had made a perfect sketch of Aanshi. "Looking at it, it seems like she's about to start shouting 'bomb, bomb' loudly," Aman said, laughing lightly. There was a smile on his face looking at Aanshi.
"Okay, now I'll mail it to Jas so he can find her," Aman sent Aanshi's photo to Jas at that moment.
_____________
It was 2:00 PM. After doing a lot of shopping, Aanshi returned to Arjun's office. They were both having lunch at a restaurant a short distance from the office.
"Have you thought about how to convince Shiv Uncle?" Arjun asked while eating.
Aanshi quickly chewed the food in her mouth and then replied, "A great man once said that one should not use both the tongue and the brain while eating."
"You've only just sat down to eat, or have you been eating something or other all day?" Arjun said, making a face.
"Just stop it, man... don't stress me out. At least let me eat four meals in peace," Aanshi replied, making a face.
"Okay, dear, you can eat, drink, roam, and have fun in Chandigarh in peace for two days, after that your ticket to London is going to be cut," Arjun reminded her in his words.
Hearing him, Aanshi left her food there. "I will never go to London, no matter what I have to do for it," Aanshi replied angrily.
"Aanshi, we've known each other for a long time. You were very happy in London and your studies were going well, but since you came here, you've been harping on the same thing, that you won't go back to London. Is anything serious?" Arjun asked seriously.
"Nothing serious. I don't feel like being there anymore. Okay, man, until now it was my studies, so I didn't say anything to anyone. Now that graduation is complete, what's the need to go back there?" Aanshi said normally, so that Arjun wouldn't suspect anything.
"Are you hiding something from us?" Arjun asked, glaring at her.
"Yes, I'm hiding something, I'm hiding a very big thing. I'm not an ordinary person. I work in India's secret agency. Until now, I was handling my work from there, but now I have to stay here," Aanshi said loudly.
As soon as she said that, some people sitting at nearby tables looked at her.
"What nonsense are you talking about?" Arjun said in a very low voice, "People here are staring at you."
"If I tell dad all this, will he believe me and let me stay here?" Aanshi asked suddenly.
"The idea is pretty good. We can work on it, if we see," Arjun said, giving a thumbs up.
"By the way, I just said all this, but the idea is really amazing. I know this lie will be very big and this post will also be very high, but how happy will Dad be that I am working for our country," Aanshi said with a very proud feeling.
Arjun agreed with her. Both finalized the plan and left from there.
________
In the evening, Lavanya reached Jas's hotel with some footage clips. Lavanya stood surprised in front of the hotel. There was a huge crowd there.
"How can we forget that if we have left some work on Jas, then it cannot happen in a normal way," Lavanya said angrily and went inside to Jas, who was standing at the reception.
"Can you tell me what's going on here?" Lavanya asked angrily.
"I don't understand what your problem is, bro? Whenever I see you, you come wearing these high heels and short clothes and start shouting loudly. Can't you ever be normal?" Jas replied.
"Oh really? Your actions are such that they force me to shout. If Aman finds out about this, then he will..." Before Lavanya could finish her sentence, Jas interrupted her in the middle, "Bro told me last night that everything should look normal here. That's why I gave it a proper hotel look and made it available to customers for less money. What's the big deal in this? Everything looks so normal here."
"Aman bought this for meetings... not for renting out," Lavanya said.
"Hey, I've only rented out the ground floor. The upper floor is still empty, where we can easily do our work. You won't believe it, I've even hired a nice receptionist here," Jas said.
His words were surprising Lavanya. She said angrily, "And who will pay her salary?"
"At first, I thought I would pay her salary from the income from here, but Aman Bro has so much money, what day will it be used for," Jas said carelessly and came out of the reception table.
Before Lavanya could say anything to him, a 21-year-old girl came there. She was wearing a short dress and had heavy makeup on her face.
"Here comes Malti. Malti, you handle the reception here, I'll deal with this madam," Jas said.
Malti smiled and agreed to his point. Jas was going to the upper floor to do the rest of the work while Lavanya had to go with him even though she didn't want to. She was very irritated seeing the crowd and the receptionist there.
°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°
Lavanya had come to Jas at the hotel Aman had bought. To normalize the atmosphere there, Jas had opened the lower floor of the hotel for customers at a low rate.
"God knows how Aman will react after seeing the condition of this place," Lavanya muttered, climbing the stairs.
After going upstairs, she went to Jas's room. As soon as she entered the room, she was shocked once again.
"When did you do all this in such a short time?" Lavanya asked in surprise.
Last night when they came to that room, it was a normal-looking hotel room, and now Jas had completely changed it according to his living style. He had arranged everything in the room from AC to a large LED screen.
"What's there to think about? If the hotel manager's room won't be this classy, then whose will be?" Jas said, shrugging his shoulders.
"But all this must have cost a lot, right?" Lavanya asked in surprise.
"Yes, it cost a lot, but everything has been taken on installments. Now don't say who will pay their EMIs. Look how comfortable it has become, where there were thick, hard mattresses at night, and now these soft, comfortable mattresses. To be honest, I am going to have a very good sleep tonight," Jas said, stretching out on the bed.
"You have made this room quite impressive, but what about the mess you have created downstairs?" Lavanya sat on the couch there.
"I will handle that too. I fell in love with this place last night itself. You'll see, I will make it one of the best lodges in Chandigarh," Jas began to dream with open eyes.
"Dream later, first let's see these footages. These are the footages from the cameras outside the shops near the fair there. Someone or the other must have captured that man's face in it," Lavanya said, showing the hard drive she was holding in her hand.
Jas agreed with her and took the hard drive from her to fix it in his laptop. It was footage from the cameras outside about 5 to 6 shops. His face was visible in all of them to some extent, but he was not clearly visible in any of them.
"I've been running after it all day, but nothing has come of it," Lavanya said in a slightly angry tone.
"You have been running after it all day? I don't believe you. We keep our identity hidden, then how can you directly demand footage?" Jas asked.
"I know a constable, I got it done through him. It has been 24 hours since that accident. How will we find that man in the remaining 24 hours?" Lavanya said worriedly.
Lavanya was worried thinking about Aman. He was leading their mission. The failure of this mission meant the failure of Aman. Whereas Jas was sitting comfortably on the bed carefree.
"How can you be so careless?" Lavanya said exasperatedly.
"I am not careless, but I feel that we are wasting our time in the wrong place. We are unnecessarily looking for a screaming girl and a man who planted the bomb, while the real mastermind is someone else," Jas replied.
"Are you stupid? We are looking for that man so that he can lead us to the real mastermind. Only that girl has seen that man, that's why finding the girl is also very important," Lavanya said exasperatedly.
"What if we don't find both of them? We don't have any plan B... If you want to find both of them, then find them. I will prepare to make a plan B," Jas said, getting up and sitting back down and started doing something on his laptop.
"But without asking Aman, how can we work on another plan?" Lavanya said.
"Look, if you want the good of Bro, then you shouldn't think too much. My plans may be strange but also successful... Now look at this hotel itself," Jas said while doing his work.
Lavanya looked around the room. It was really quite different from last time. Jas had done this in a very short time. The look downstairs had also changed to some extent.
"Okay... but this should remain between us."
"Of course..." Jas said happily, raising his hand to high-five, but when Lavanya didn't respond, he lowered his hand back down.
Aman had mailed Aanshi's sketch to Jas, but since Lavanya and Jas were working on a different plan, Jas didn't even check it.
Both were working when Lavanya received a call from Aman on her phone. As soon as she started to pick up the call, Jas snatched the mobile from her hand, saying, "Don't make the mistake of picking up the call. Otherwise Bro will catch you in 2 minutes. Leave him a message that you are busy."
Following Jas's advice, Lavanya left a message for Aman and silenced her phone. After that, both started working again.
_________
It was 10:00 at night. Preeto ji had gone to sleep while Aanshi and Arjun were sitting in the garden of the house. Arjun was working on his office work on the laptop.
"Arjun, I have been sitting with you for the last 1 hour and you have not spoken a word. I am getting bored." Aanshi snatched Arjun's laptop.
"What are you doing, monkey... I have a very important presentation tomorrow. Give me the laptop back," Arjun said angrily at her.
Aanshi handed the laptop back to Arjun and started leaving from there.
"Where are you going now?" Arjun said.
"It's better to go out somewhere than to get bored here, and please don't gossip to Grandma like the aunties in the neighborhood tomorrow morning," Aanshi said, making a face.
"Okay, but take my car keys. And yes, make a good plan for yourself. Your secret agent plan will definitely flop when Uncle asks you for your identity," Arjun said, laughing.
"Yes, you are right, I am also worried about that. But don't worry, we will think of something," Aanshi replied in a low voice and went inside from there.
After some time she came out ready. She had Arjun's car keys in her hand.
"Oh wow. Where are you going so dressed up?" Arjun said, looking at her from head to toe.
Aanshi was wearing a black bodycon dress, which was up to her mid-thigh. She had straightened her hair.
"Club. Thought I would spend some time there," Aanshi replied and started leaving from there.
"Club is fine but this is not your London. Don't drink, Grandma will catch you in 2 minutes. And one more thing, if you stay out too late, I will wake her up from her sleep," Arjun shouted from behind.
"Whatever," Aanshi said just that much and left from there in Arjun's car.
Aanshi was quite worried about the news of her father's return. She didn't want to go back to London and couldn't find any reason to stay here. She was sitting in the club. To forget her problems, Aanshi had taken four shots one after the other.
"Thank God. Feeling something better, otherwise. Otherwise, this tension doesn't even let me breathe properly," Aanshi said in a drunken voice.
____________________
Aman's car was parked in front of the club. He called Lavanya but seeing her message, Aman's steps stopped outside the club itself.
"I thought if we spend some time together, she will also feel good and I will also get a chance to know Lavi. Now what is the point of going inside alone?" Aman was talking to himself standing outside the club.
The club's guard came to him and asked for his car keys to park the car.
"I was waiting for someone here. He is not coming, so I am also not going inside," Aman said to him.
"It's your choice sir, but since you have come to the outside of the club, spend some time inside. Maybe you will like it. You look worried," the guard replied.
Aman thought for a while and then handed the key to the guard. He took his steps inside the club. Tables were placed in one part of the club, where some couples were sitting. On the other side, loud music was playing, on which some boys and girls were dancing.
"Everyone is busy in their own life here. I also thought of stealing some moments from my busy life for you, Lavi, but I had forgotten that we both belong to the same profession. I don't get time for you, so how can you give me your time," Aman thought and then took his steps towards the bartender.
Aanshi was sitting there and drinking continuously. Aman also reached there and said to the bartender, "One soft drink please..."
Aanshi looked at Aman and then smiled slightly. "What will happen with a soft drink? If you want to forget your sorrow, then you will have to take a lot of hard drink shots like me."
Aman ignored her. He sat on the chair there and started looking at Lavanya's photos in his phone.
"Ignored me? Aanshi Jindal... How dare he..." Aanshi got up angrily and took Aman's phone and threw it on the ground.
Aman got angry because of her action. First he picked up his phone and then he got up from his chair to teach her a lesson and was about to say something after holding her hand when he saw Aanshi's face.
"You? You are the same screaming girl." As soon as Aman saw Aanshi, he immediately recognized her.
Hearing the news of her dad's arrival, Aanshi was worried and in this distress, she had taken quite a few shots of drinks at the club.
Aman was also there. Aanshi tried to talk to him. When Aman ignored her, Aanshi broke his phone in anger.
"What is this nonsense?" Aman muttered angrily as he went to Aanshi. He recognized Aanshi as soon as he saw her.
"You. You are the same screaming girl who caused a stampede at the fair that day."
"Which fair?" Aanshi said, starting to fall into Aman's arms.
"Ohho. You've had a lot to drink." Aman held her and pushed her away.
"I had no other option. I know everything here is very boring but... but here I'm safe." Aanshi was muttering in a slow voice, intoxicated.
Aman couldn't understand anything. He held her and started taking her out of there.
"Come on, let's go and talk in my car."
Aanshi pushed him away and said, "Just because I'm drunk doesn't mean I don't know what's happening around me. You want to take advantage of me being drunk. I know guys like you very well."
"What do you know?" Aman asked in surprise.
"Guys like you first act innocent and go to a girl and then kidnap her and do... do wrong things with her."
"What nonsense are you talking?" Aman shouted at her angrily, "You are not in your senses right now, whether I do something wrong with you or not, someone else can definitely take advantage of you in this state."
"Oh." Aanshi shouted, "How can anyone take advantage? You don't know me yet. I know martial arts."
Due to the loud music, Aanshi was shouting loudly.
"First, there's so much loud music, and on top of that, this girl. I think I'm going to go crazy today." Aman said, holding his head. "But no matter what happens, I can't let her go. I have to ask this girl about that man somehow."
Aman came to Aanshi again and, holding her hand, said, "Let's sit down and talk calmly."
Aanshi agreed with a face. Aman took her to a table in the corner. There weren't many people sitting around there.
"What's your name?" Aman asked as soon as he sat down.
"Why should I tell you my name?" Aanshi said.
"Why is it so difficult to deal with this girl?" Aman muttered softly. Trying to talk to Aanshi once again, he said, "Okay, leave the name. Do you remember you went to a fair yesterday evening?"
"Which fair?" Aanshi asked, looking at him strangely.
"The same fair where you were shouting bomb, bomb. Remember, there was a bomb in the fair."
As soon as Aman said the name bomb bomb, Aanshi stood up from her seat and shouted, "What bomb? Is there a bomb here?"
Aanshi ran from there to the dance floor. Before Aman could stop her, she had left from there. She went to the DJ and turned off the music and picked up the microphone kept there and started making an announcement in it.
"Vacate this club as soon as possible. There is a bomb here, if you love your life, then get out of here as soon as possible." Aanshi shouted into the mic.
As soon as Aanshi made the announcement, there was a stampede there. There weren't many people present there, but everyone started running towards the exit to save their lives.
Seeing them all running around there, Aman held his head and said, "Why did I forget that this girl... no, not girl... screaming girl. Wherever she goes, she creates a mess like this."
Aman went to Aanshi to stop her.
"What have you done?" Aman shouted at Aanshi.
"Didn't you hear, there's a bomb here? You also get out of here, otherwise... otherwise you'll lose your life." Saying this, Aanshi held Aman's hand and started taking him outside.
In a short while, the club was completely empty. The security there had called the bomb squad and the police.
"This girl has messed up again. No matter what happens, I have to wait for her to come to her senses. She is the only one who can help me draw that man's picture." Aman muttered to himself.
Aman somehow persuaded Aanshi and took her to his car. She fell asleep in the car while going there. He was trying his best to wake her up, but Aanshi was in a deep sleep.
"I've been trying to wake her up for the last 1 hour, I don't know how many more storms this girl will bring into my life." Aman was getting bored sitting in the car.
On the other hand, Lavanya had become free from her work. When she saw many calls from Aman in her phone, she called him.
Seeing Lavanya's call, Aman said to himself, "Yes, she's remembering me now. If I tell Lavi about this girl, she'll also come here. Who knows, it might be difficult for me to handle both of them together. It would be better to ignore Lavi for once." Aman did not answer Lavanya's call.
He kept sitting there waiting for Aanshi to wake up from her sleep.
__________
It was 2:00 at night. Arjun was getting worried as Aanshi had not returned home yet.
"She should have been back by now. It was all my fault that I let her go alone. I can't even wake up Grandma in such a situation. What if something bad happened to Aanshi..." Bad thoughts started coming to Arjun's mind. He quickly took out Aanshi's location in his laptop.
"What is she doing in a club at this time of night?" Arjun quickly closed his laptop and started calling Aanshi.
In a hurry, Aanshi's phone was left in the club. Arjun got more worried because she was not picking up her phone. He quickly took out Aanshi's scooter and started going to the club.
Aanshi was still sleeping carefree in Aman's car.
"How can any girl sleep so carefree in someone else's car? Sleeping is a distant matter, she was drinking excessively in the club. Don't her family members care about her at all?" Aman said looking at Aanshi.
Just then, an old scooter was passing by Aman's car at high speed. The scooter rider was driving it quite roughly, due to which Aman's car got dented.
"Have you gone mad? Can't you see?" Aman took his mouth out of the car window and said.
The scooter rider did not answer. He had only reached a short distance when he collided with a truck coming from the front. Aman saw this accident happening from his car's side mirror.
"Oh God. It seems he had also been drinking." Aman quickly got out of his car and started running towards the accident spot.
The truck driver also came out and was looking at him. His scooter was badly broken and the man on it was lying on the road. One of his legs was crushed and blood was also coming out from his forehead.
"Sir, I didn't do this intentionally." The truck driver pleaded looking at Aman.
"Yes, I saw. I am calling the police." Aman said to calm him down.
"But the police will only misunderstand me, right." He said worriedly.
"Don't worry, I have seen all this with my own eyes. This man had also narrowly avoided colliding with my car. It seems he had been drinking." Aman explained to the man and started calling the police.
On the other hand, Aanshi, who was sleeping in Aman's car, had also woken up. She was still slightly intoxicated.
"What am I doing here? Somewhere my kidnap... Has someone kidnapped me and brought me here?" Aanshi was trying to think by putting pressure on her memory, but she couldn't remember anything.
She got out of the car and looked around. She saw two people standing a short distance away and a man lying on the road.
Aanshi did not pay much attention to them and started going back towards the club. Arjun was coming from the front on a scooter. When he saw Aanshi, he stopped the scooter and went to her.
"Are you crazy? When I gave you my car, what was the need to walk on the road? I had told you to come home on time and you..." Arjun was shouting at her angrily.
"I don't remember anything, Arjun. I want to go home, my head is hurting." Hearing Aanshi's voice, Arjun said, "Have you been drinking? I had forbidden you from drinking, right. Aanshi, what is your mobile doing in the club and the car? Where did you park the car?"
"The car will be in the club's parking area and I don't know about the mobile. Can we talk about all this at home? Please, I want to go home."
Aanshi was looking quite tired and troubled, so Arjun didn't ask much. Arjun took Aanshi to the club and told about her mobile being missing. The club manager assured him of sending Aanshi's mobile home. After that, he made her sit on the scooter and took her home. Aman was still unaware that Aanshi had left from his car.
°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°
As soon as Aanshi entered the house, a voice came, "Very good Aanshi Jindal. Which MBA classes are held at the club at night, where drinks are served instead of lessons?"
As soon as Aanshi and Arjun entered the house, the voice came from in front of them. Just then the house lights turned on and Preeto ji came in front of them driving a wheelchair.
"What's going on? What if your father were here right now and he saw you in this drunken state? Are you living here in Chandigarh to do all this?" Preeto ji was very angry seeing Aanshi drunk.
"Grandma, that..." Aanshi had just opened her mouth to give an explanation when Preeto ji spoke again, "I don't want to hear anything, Aanshi. Your father will be here in 2 days. After meeting him, you are going back to London."
"I will not go to London." Aanshi shouted and went to her room.
"Has something happened, Grandma? Whenever we talk to Aanshi about going back to London, she flatly refuses. A fear is reflected on her face." Arjun asked worriedly.
Preeto ji was also worried seeing this attitude of Aanshi. "I did not expect this from you, Arjun. You should not have let Aanshi go out alone so late at night. She is drunk and anything could have happened to her in such a state."
"You are right, Grandma, but I was busy with my work. Aanshi was repeatedly insisting on going out, so I did not stop her." Arjun said with his head bowed.
"Why don't you children understand that when we elders stop you from doing something, it is for your own good? I want you to talk to Aanshi openly tomorrow and ask why she doesn't want to go to London." Preeto ji said in a serious tone.
"You are right, Grandma, at first I thought everything was normal. But nowadays, whenever you talk to her about going to London, she starts shouting loudly in anger." Arjun said.
"It's late at night. We'll talk in the morning." Preeto ji replied and moved her wheelchair towards the room. After she left, Arjun tiptoed into Aanshi's room and started searching for something in Aanshi's cupboard by lighting the mobile's torch.
"Aanshi loves to write a diary. She must have written everything in her diary." Arjun said in his mind and started looking for Aanshi's diary in the cupboard.
In Aanshi's cupboard, a section was made for keeping books. In that section, there were many diaries of Aanshi lying, which she had written so far.
Before picking up the diary, Arjun looked at Aanshi and she was sleeping peacefully. Then he picked up two or three diaries according to the date and came to his room.
"I know Aanshi, you absolutely don't like anyone reading your diary. But I have to find some solution to your problem." While saying this, Arjun started turning the pages of the diary.
He quickly turned the pages of the diary but he could not see anything special. Everything was written about her normal routine.
"Now I don't even have so much time that I can read each and every line of it." While saying this, Arjun picked up another diary. He was a little surprised to see it.
"What could be written in this that Aanshi tore its pages? This means there is definitely something else that Aanshi is hiding from all of us. Is that thing related to her going to London?" Arjun got worried after seeing the torn pages of the diary.
He quickly took photos of those torn pages and went back and kept them in Aanshi's cupboard. After that, he also went to sleep.
_______
The next morning Aanshi's maid Shanti was cleaning her room. Aanshi woke up hearing the sound of things moving around.
"Good morning Shanti Didi." Aanshi said yawning.
"What Didi, you are having fun. Come home at night whenever you want. Wake up late in the morning whenever you want." Shanti said while cleaning.
"Then who has stopped you, Shanti Didi? Sleep whenever you want. And wake up whenever you want." Aanshi said in a drowsy voice.
"Oh, these pleasures are only at parents' house. You know, when I was not married, I also used to live with so much fun. After coming here, I have to do this work because of the financial crunch." Shanti left the work and sat near Aanshi's bed.
"Okay Shanti Didi, where are you from?" Aanshi also started talking to her.
"Didi, I am from a village in Maharashtra. After getting married, I came here to live with my husband. See, when you get married, you will also have to leave your house and go to live in his house." Shanti said.
"If I get married then I will have to go to my husband's house. That's great." There was a glow on Aanshi's face. She quickly got up from her bed and ran outside, after coming outside she saw Grandma and Arjun were sitting together and having breakfast.
As soon as she saw Aanshi, Preeto ji made a face and said, "Arjun tell her that I don't want to talk to her. And yes, a bottle of liquor has been ordered for her in breakfast, which is kept in the fridge."
"What Grandma, have you come to taunting now?" Aanshi went and sat near them.
"I am also angry with her, Grandma. Let's go and sit somewhere else." Arjun agreed with Grandma.
Both of them started leaving from there. Seeing them leave, Aanshi said in her mind, "I understand Grandma, but why is this Arjun angry with me?"
Aanshi quickly got up from her place and ran behind them. "I want to get married." Aanshi said panting.
"What?" Preeto ji and Arjun both said together in shock.
"Looks like her hangover from last night hasn't worn off yet. She has started talking nonsense as soon as she woke up." Arjun said staring.
"Oh, you people should listen to my whole thing. Grandma, Shanti Didi told that after marriage, she came to live at her husband's house, if I also get married like this and I go to live at my husband's house, then Papa will not be able to send me back to London, right?" Aanshi had told them her plan in one breath.
"Are you crazy Aanshi? Now you will get married to stay here?" Arjun said.
"How many times have I told this Shanti not to talk about marriage and in-laws in this house. Don't know what she said to the girl, that she is talking such nonsense in the morning." Preeto ji said.
Both of them did not like Aanshi's plan.
"I didn't like your plan at all. Means you will get married to stay here? Will you tell me where will you find a boy in 2 days and get married? Even if you find a boy, how will you marry a stranger in 2 days?" Arjun said.
"You are right. Where will I find a boy in two days?" Aanshi said thinking. "By the way, what is the need for me to find a boy? This is India. Here most of the marriages are arranged marriages. So the responsibility of finding a boy is also of the family members. Grandma, I don't know anything, I have to get married before Papa comes here, so please find a boy for me."
"This girl has really gone mad. And will drive me mad with her words." Preeto ji muttered and started taking her wheelchair inside.
"Didn't you like my plan too?" Aanshi made a face and looked at Arjun.
"Not at all. Now let me go to the office. I have to give my presentation, not take relationships for marriage." Arjun pushed Aanshi aside and left from there to bring his laptop to his room.
Aanshi was standing there and thinking. Arjun was going to the office. Shanti's words had settled in her mind.
"Now whatever happens, I will find a groom for myself in 2 days." Aanshi said to herself and went to Preeto ji from there.
"Grandma, what do you have to do to find a good groom?" Aanshi went to her and said.
"Son, first of all you have to complete your studies which you have left in the middle and come here." Preeto ji replied making a face.
"Their needle is always stuck on sending me to London only." Aanshi said slowly and left from there.
When she came inside, Shanti was cleaning. Seeing her, Aanshi thought, "I will ask Shanti Didi. When she can give me such a brilliant idea, she will definitely help me further."
Aanshi smiled and moved towards Shanti.
"What happened Aanshi Didi? Do you need something?" Shanti asked.
"Okay Shanti Didi, if we have to find a good boy, what do we have to do?" Aanshi said making puppy eyes.
"That's all. I will tell you each and every thing in detail. After that I will get you beautifully dressed. Then we will both have a good photo session and send your photo to the boy's family." Shanti started explaining everything to her.
Aanshi nodded at her words. Shanti opened Aanshi's cupboard and took out a yellow and white colored suit kept in it.
Aanshi was quietly accepting Shanti's words. In a short while, Shanti got her ready. After getting ready, Aanshi was looking at herself in the mirror.
°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°
Aanshi's maid Shanti Didi started getting her ready to take her for the photo session. Aanshi was wearing a light yellow and white suit. Shanti had dressed her up in her own way, so she had also put some jewelry on her.
"These are so cool, aren't they?" Aanshi said, jingling the bangles she was wearing on her hands.
"Look, Aanshi Didi, you are going to get a very good boy. You are really looking very beautiful. I should put a black dot so you don't catch my eye." Shanti picked up kajal from the dressing table and put a small black dot behind Aanshi's ear.
"Okay, what will happen after the photo session, Shanti Didi?" Aanshi asked innocently.
"After that we will go to a good pandit. You are educated, so we will also go to a marriage bureau. There we will write down your photo and what kind of boy you like," Shanti replied. She too started getting ready to go out.
"What is the need for a photo session for all this, Shanti Didi? I will put my photo on some matrimonial site right now. Someone or the other will apply," Aanshi said innocently.
"No way. You have lived abroad, so you don't know the boys here, they are number one frauds. They are something else and show something else. We will go to Pandit Ji only. After that, Pandit Ji will show your picture in 1–2 good houses and then they will come to see you. After they like you, there will be an engagement... then there will be a wedding," Shanti explained.
"When they have already seen my photo, why will they come back to see me?" Everything was new to Aanshi, so she was asking a lot of questions.
"Because you look different in photos, right? You have to see in reality too." Shanti was answering all her questions.
"Okay, how many hours will this process take?" Aanshi asked.
Hearing Aanshi's question, Shanti started laughing loudly. Aanshi was looking at her. She did not understand the meaning of Shanti's laughter.
"Sorry yeah Didi. This is not your London, where you found a boy in the morning and got married in the evening. Oh, all this takes at least 1 year," said Shanti and started laughing again.
As Shanti explained, Aanshi widened her eyes and said, "1 year? But I don't have that much time. I don't know anything, Shanti Didi... I want a groom in 2 days. Not even 2 days. Now I want a groom in one day."
Shanti did not answer Aanshi and went to Preeto Ji, hitting her head.
"Busy. Where are you busy? Why is Aanshi Didi talking so wildly in the morning?" Shanti came to her room looking for Preeto Ji.
"Why are you asking me, Shanti, these are the troubles you have spread," Preeto Ji said, making a face.
"What is my fault in this? I thought Aanshi Didi wanted to get married, so I told her the process of finding a good boy, but she wants a boy in one day," Shanti said.
"It is rightly said, an empty mind is the devil's house. Aanshi has not been doing anything here for 2 months, that's why she is having strange thoughts in her mind," Preeto Ji replied.
"Dadi, I am very scared for Aanshi Didi. What if some witch is on her." Shanti stopped while speaking. Preeto Ji glared at her and said, "I don't know about her, but you definitely seem to have the shadow of a witch on you. I am telling you Shanti, stay away from my child and don't teach her strange things."
"But what did I do." While speaking, Shanti saw that Preeto Ji was glaring at her, so she left her words incomplete. "Okay, I am leaving. I have to clean other places too."
Shanti left from there. After she left, Preeto Ji shouted from behind, "You should get your brain cleaned too. I don't know what strange things you keep thinking."
After Shanti left, Preeto Ji took her wheelchair to Aanshi's room. "I don't know about Shanti's brain, but something has to be done about Aanshi's brain. I don't know what is going on in the girl's mind and she is not telling anything."
When she came to Aanshi's room, she saw that Aanshi had taken off the jewelry and makeup that Shanti Didi had put on her, but she was still wearing the dress.
"Aanshi, how many times have I told you not to listen to Shanti's words," Preeto Ji said, coming inside.
"Then what else should I do Dadi? To stay here, I am ready to do anything, even get married. Dadi, you don't understand, I don't want to leave you and go to London," Aanshi said, pleading.
"Okay, I will think of something. But promise that you will not do anything wrong," Preeto Ji said.
Aanshi nodded her head in yes and hugged Preeto Ji.
"You are the best Dadi in the world. Okay Dadi, should I go meet Arjun? I have to tell him that I have dropped the idea of getting married," Aanshi said happily. There was a childishness in her nature.
"Now you will go so far to his office to tell such a small thing. You can tell this thing to him by phone too, right?" Preeto Ji said, shaking her head.
"The fun of talking face to face is not there on the phone, right? Dadi, should I go?" Aanshi asked again.
Preeto Ji nodded with a smile. Aanshi left for Arjun's office in the same dress.
___________
Before going to the office in the morning, Aman had called his team for a meeting at the hotel he had bought. He did not know about the changes made by Jas.
As soon as he reached in front of the hotel and saw its changed appearance, he muttered, "How can I forget that I have entrusted a big responsibility to Jas, so this had to happen. Nothing can happen to this boy."
Aman moved forward and saw a big holding on the wall in front, which said that rooms are given on rent here for ₹100 for 6 hours.
"Another new surprise. Well, nothing else can be expected from Jas." Thinking, Aman went to the room upstairs.
He was surprised again to see the scene inside. Mr. Gupta, Lavanya and Jas were all sitting in the room. Lavanya was working on the laptop while Jas and Mr. Gupta were enjoying pizza.
"This is really very tasty," Mr. Gupta said while eating. "I say Jas, you arrange the same room for me too. Both will handle the work from here."
"Oh really Mr. Gupta?" Aman asked, suppressing his anger. "Jas, I gave you permission to stay here, not to make all these changes here?"
"But bro." Jas started giving him an explanation.
Aman interrupted him and said in harsh words, "But Wakin nothing Jas. I bought this hotel to have meetings, not to sit here and have fun. First of all, you will remove that holding."
"Thank God Aman, you said something to him, otherwise." Lavanya became happy with his decision.
Then Aman also interrupted Lavanya and said, "Otherwise what Lavi? You came here yesterday and you didn't even find it necessary to tell me once what Jas is doing here?"
"But bro, you only wanted things to look normal. Now as soon as you enter Chandigarh, if a hotel is closed and people keep coming and going in it, then people will doubt it, right? And don't worry bro, I will handle this business well. Our business is already going quite well," Jas said, explaining to him.
"It would be better Jas, you do what you have come for. If you are so fond of doing business, then leave this job and go and open a business," Aman said irritably.
Aman was very angry seeing the changes made by Jas in the hotel. He kept scolding Jas and Lavanya continuously.
"Okay, you can take your class later. First we talk about the mission," Mr. Gupta tried to calm him down.
Aman did not say anything further and sat there. They were all talking about Vidhik Rana.
"Your plan is quite good Jas. I have often heard that Vidhik Rana is surrounded by girls. This shows what kind of man he must be," Aman said, praising Jas.
"Yes, the plan is quite old, but it can work. I have heard many times that even the biggest people kneel before true love, so what is Vidhik Rana," Mr. Gupta said.
Hearing his words, Aman smiled lightly and only said in reply, "True love? There is no such thing in the world Mr. Gupta, a selfish man like Vidhik can never understand this. It would be better if we work logically instead of possibilities."
Mr. Gupta agreed with his words. They kept talking about the mission there for a long time, but in all this, Lavanya's attention was focused somewhere else.
"Just now Aman said that there is no such thing as true love, then why is he with me? Does he not love me? He has never said this from his mouth." Lavanya looked at Aman with lost eyes.
He was still talking about the mission. Lavanya's words were pricking her. Her eyes became moist. Getting up from there, she said, "I am not feeling well. I need to be alone for some time. I am going to the Artistic office."
"But Lavanya." Aman tried to stop her but Lavanya completely ignored his words and left from there.
Aman also became upset by her leaving like this. He also started going after her leaving the meeting in the middle.
°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°
Aman was in a meeting with his team at the hotel. Lavanya got upset with him for some reason and left.
Aman went after her to persuade her. Lavanya's car stopped in front of Artistic's office.
She got out of the car and went straight to her cabin. Aman also followed her into her cabin.
"What's wrong, Lavi? Can I know the reason for interrupting you?" Aman asked, approaching Lavanya. He saw tears in Lavanya's eyes.
"Did something happen, Lavi?" Aman asked, holding her hand.
"Aman, you said you don't believe in true love. If you don't believe in love, it means you don't love me either," Lavanya said, crying.
"I have never experienced this feeling. So how can I lie?" Aman replied coldly.
"If you don't love me, then why did you say yes to marrying me?" Lavanya asked in surprise.
"Look, Lavi, I don't believe in relationships. But at the same time, you can't run away from it. If another girl comes into my life, I will never be able to tell her what my work is. Also, I don't want to build a relationship on lies. You are a good friend of mine, and we both belong to the same profession, good friends also prove to be good life partners," Aman said, revealing everything in his heart to Lavanya without hiding anything.
Now Lavanya was also feeling better. "You know what your best quality is, that you never lie. I respect your honesty, Aman. Maybe as we stay together, the feeling of love will also grow in your heart for me," Lavanya replied with a slight smile.
"Yes, that may happen, but for now, you are my best friend. For the sake of that friendship, I will never hurt you," Aman promised, placing his hand on hers.
After a light-hearted, loving conversation, their quarrel ended.
"Well, if your misunderstanding is cleared up, will you focus on work?" Aman said, seeing Lavanya's mood.
Lavanya nodded in agreement. As soon as she agreed, Aman said, "I don't want you to go to Vidhik Rana, but at the same time, I want you to collect every piece of information about him. By hook or by crook."
"Okay, I'll figure out a way to reach him. You take care of things here in the office. I'll have to work on this secretly for a few days," Lavanya replied.
"Don't worry, I'll handle everything here. You get a makeover, I'll arrange for IDs for you," Aman said.
Everything was finalized between them. After saying goodbye to Aman, Lavanya left to work on the task he had given her. After coming to the office, Aman also got busy with his office work.
_________
On the other side, Aanshi left her house and went to Arjun's office. Arjun was busy with his work there. Due to the office policy of not allowing anyone to meet during office hours, the receptionist stopped Aanshi outside.
"Why don't you understand, I only have 2 minutes of work with him. I'll come back as soon as I meet him," Aanshi requested to the receptionist.
"Sorry ma'am, but it is not allowed to meet any family member during office hours. There will be a lunch break after 1 hour, you can meet sir then," the receptionist replied quite formally.
Aanshi pouted at the receptionist's refusal. Making one last attempt, she said, "You are not doing the right thing by stopping me. Arjun will be very angry if he finds out."
"Sorry ma'am, I can't do anything. This is my job. I don't know about Arjun sir, but if our boss Mr. Mehra finds out, he will fire me along with him. You can sit in the office canteen or waiting room to wait for him if you want. Now excuse me, please," said the receptionist, returning to her work.
Aanshi moved away from the reception table and sat on the couch there, thinking. "What would have happened if she had let me meet him? I would have only met him for 5 minutes. What important work would have been left undone in 5 minutes? I'm already stressed because of Dad's arrival, and on top of that, she's not letting me talk to him either."
Aanshi was glaring at the receptionist. When the receptionist noticed Aanshi's gaze, she said softly, "Ma'am, you should go to the canteen. There will be a lot of things to eat and drink there. Your mood will also improve."
"My mood will only improve after meeting Arjun. If you care so much about my mood, then let me meet him," Aanshi said, pouting.
The receptionist shrugged, muttering sorry. "The office canteen is on the second floor," she said, pointing towards the lift.
Aanshi didn't reply to her and left to go to the canteen. She saw some employees going towards the lift, so she also went inside with them.
"Did you see how angry the boss was today? Today, no one should make even a small mistake, otherwise they will lose their job," a girl whispered.
The boy standing next to her replied, "I am going to skip lunch today. I am thinking of doing some work during the lunch break as well so that sir will be happy."
While talking, they both looked at Aanshi and gestured to be quiet with their eyes.
"Are you any relative of our boss, Mr. Karan Mehra?" the girl asked hesitantly.
"Oh no. Don't be afraid, I am just a visitor here. You can criticize your boss in front of me," Aanshi replied, laughing. "It seems like your boss is very grumpy, that's why you guys look so worried and tired."
"Yes, you are right. Sometimes I feel like that person can never be happy," the boy replied.
"By the way, who are you?" the girl asked again.
"Me? I am Arjun Luthra's friend and I came to meet him," Aanshi replied.
"And the receptionist sent you upstairs to meet him during office hours," the girl asked in surprise.
Aanshi was going to the canteen instead of meeting Arjun, and from the girl's words, she understood that she had been mistaken. Aanshi didn't think it was right to clear up that misunderstanding.
"Yes, what else? But I forgot the floor number where Arjun works. If you know, can you please tell me which floor Arjun Luthra works on?" Aanshi lied.
The girl glanced at Aanshi once and then said to the boy next to her in a low voice, "It seems like this girl is Arjun's girlfriend. Look how innocent she looks. Maybe there is some important work, that's why the receptionist sent her upstairs."
"We should help her," the boy said to the girl in a low voice and then, coughing lightly, looked at Aanshi and said, "Don't worry, Bhabhi Ji. I am also going to the same floor. You can come with me and meet Arjun. He is my friend."
"What did you say? Bhabhi Ji?" Aanshi's eyes widened hearing Bhabhi Ji from his mouth.
"You too, Moh, nowadays girls don't like to be called Bhabhi. If someone calls me Bhabhi, I feel so awkward. By the way, what is your name, future Bhabhi Ji?" the girl teased her.
"My name is Aanshi. But I don't understand why you guys are calling me Bhabhi Ji," Aanshi said in a confused tone.
"It's okay. You just pretend to be clueless, but we all understand," Moh said, winking one eye.
The girl standing next to him laughed at his words and they both high-fived. Aanshi didn't reply to their words. They were on the fifth floor, where Arjun worked.
Moh went to drop her off at Arjun's cubicle. Arjun was surprised to see Aanshi.
"By the way, you have a very good choice. You didn't introduce us, you hidden gem. Fate has made us meet our future Bhabhi," Moh said, lightly hitting Arjun's shoulder.
"Which Bhabhi? Whose Bhabhi?" Arjun asked in surprise.
"Yeah yeah, we all understand. Chill, no one will know. We will take care of the boss, but you both should finish your conversation quickly. You know he's already in a bad mood today. Have fun," Moh said, giving a thumbs up and leaving from there.
As soon as he left, Aanshi asked, "Why was he calling me Bhabhi Ji?"
"Because he thinks you are my girlfriend. Seriously, Aanshi, at least leave me alone in the office. You came here too," Arjun said, shouting slightly.
"Why are you shouting like that? Your boss will hear you and fire you from your job. I had to talk to you about something very important, that's why I came here," Aanshi said, shaking her head.
"You could have told me your important thing on the phone too. If that Mehra's kid sees me talking to you, I'm going to be in trouble," Arjun said, pouting.
"Mr. Mehra's kids also work here?" Aanshi said, widening her eyes, "Don't worry, we'll appease him with chocolate."
Arjun said, annoyed by Aanshi's words, "I didn't laugh at your stupid joke at all. Now tell me quickly why you came here?"
"I came here to tell you that I have dropped the plan to get married. It was a very bad plan. Where will I find a boy in 1 day?" Aanshi replied.
"Very good," hearing her words, Arjun clapped slowly and started taking her away from there, holding her hand. "Hopefully your important thing is over. Now get out of here."
Aanshi refused to leave and stood there talking to Arjun, "Why are you pushing me like this? I'll leave, I'm not going to eat up your office if I stay here."
"You won't eat up the office, but if the boss sees you here, he will definitely eat me up. Don't you know it was written in clear words in the contract before joining the job that no family member will come here to meet during office hours," Arjun said, holding Aanshi and starting to take her away from there.
"What a rubbish rule is this? I say you should quit this job today," Aanshi said, stopping.
"Yeah, the office belongs to my dad, that's why I'll quit. It was also written in the contract that I cannot quit this job before 2 years. If I quit this job, I will have to pay a hefty compensation to the company," Arjun said.
As soon as Arjun finished speaking, a glow came on Aanshi's face. She snapped her fingers and said, "Got an idea."
Aanshi had come to Arjun's office. Because of office hours, Arjun was repeatedly asking Aanshi to leave, but despite that, Aanshi was forcibly staying there.
"Got an idea," Aanshi shouted loudly. This drew everyone's attention to her.
"Shshshshsh," Arjun hushed her. "Discuss your ideas at home. Leave here for now, my dear mother. Otherwise, along with you, I will also be kicked out of here."
"Okay, okay, I'm going. There's nothing to get so sentimental about. But listen to my plan," Aanshi said, making a child-like face.
"I don't want to hear anything right now. You're going home right now," Arjun said a little sternly.
"Okay, Arjun Luthra. Now I'm not going to tell you anything," Aanshi said, making a face, and started to leave.
Arjun didn't respond to her. Because of Aanshi's loud talking, everyone's attention was on them.
"It would be better if you people paid attention to your work," Arjun shouted and went back to his cubicle.
________
After leaving Arjun's office, Aanshi was walking on the road. She was quite angry because Arjun hadn't listened to her plan.
She was muttering to herself as she walked down the street.
"What does he think of himself, that tailless monkey? What would have happened if he had listened to my plan? Now this Aanshi Jindal will surprise everyone. Anyway, gotta give it to her, she gave a good idea. If I also get a job where the contract states that I can't leave the job before 2 years or any particular time period, then Dad won't be able to do anything." Aanshi said happily.
"Wow Aanshi Jindal... only you could think of such a brilliant idea," Aanshi said happily, patting herself on the back.
She was happily walking down the road talking to herself. Suddenly, she felt like someone was following her. Aanshi turned around and saw that there was no one behind her.
"Looks like I'm starting to hallucinate from happiness," Aanshi said to herself.
As soon as Aanshi started walking again, a man came out from behind a car and started following Aanshi again. But this time he was following her more cautiously.
"Hello Robin Sir, I have found that loud girl from that day. Shall I knock her down in the middle of the road right now?" He was talking to someone on the phone while walking.
"Don't make that mistake, not even in your dreams," a heavy voice came from the other side, whose name was Robin. "That day you were saved, but today if someone sees you, then before that your work will be finished. Find an opportunity to pick up the girl. Vidhik Rana will deal with her himself. He needs this girl alive."
"Picking her up is very risky. This girl will recognize me as soon as she sees me and will start shouting loudly again," the man replied.
"Don't be stupid Johnny, do as you are told. If the girl gets even a scratch, Vidhik Rana will inflict so many wounds on your body. He won't let you live, and he won't let you die either," Robin said.
Johnny nodded in agreement to Robin's words. With this, the call was cut. He was walking stealthily behind Aanshi. Aanshi was still unaware that someone was following her.
"Before finding a job, I have to look at vacancies. I have to prepare a CV for the vacancies. I hope everything happens in one day. I don't even get any ideas on an empty stomach. I think I'll eat something first," Aanshi thought.
She took out her mobile and searched for a restaurant nearby and went to eat. Johnny was still behind her. He had entered the restaurant with her and was sitting in the seat behind her, keeping an eye on her.
__________
As Aman had said, Lavanya had gone to find out about Vidhik Rana. After she left, Aman also had to handle her work.
"It hasn't even been 2 hours since Lavi left and my head is starting to hurt. Thank God you are here, otherwise it would have been impossible for me to handle the job and the office at the same time. You are perfect for me in every way, Lavi," Aman said to himself while working.
While working, Aman's phone alarm rang.
"I didn't even realize when it was lunchtime," he turned off the phone alarm and gathered the files there and kept them aside.
Aman came out of his office and went to a nearby restaurant. There were not many people in the restaurant. Aanshi was also sitting in the same restaurant.
After ordering food, Aman went to the restaurant's washroom. While returning, he overheard a man talking on the phone.
"I understand what you want, sir. Our job is just to spread terror here. Watch, we will do this work so perfectly that the general public of Chandigarh will think twice before leaving their homes," the man said in a low voice.
Hearing his words, Aman became alert. "These people will never improve. While we are here, the people of this country will go out and feel safe too," Aman thought and quickly called the backup team.
Aman saw that the man had left from there and gone to sit at a table, so that he could not be identified among the general public. Aman had his eyes on him.
He went to the restaurant manager and said, "Is there a back door in this restaurant?"
"Yes sir, but why are you asking?"
Aman did not answer him and started looking around. He saw that there were about eighty to one hundred people present there.
"I have a slight cold. Can I get a mask?" Aman said.
The manager nodded his head in agreement and sent the waiter to get a mask for him.
After thanking him, Aman put on the mask and put on goggles on his eyes. The man got up slowly and went outside.
Before Aman could go after him, there was a big explosion in the restaurant's kitchen. As soon as this happened, there was chaos there.
Due to the cylinder explosion, there was a huge fire there. People were trying to get out of there somehow to save their lives.
"He had already done his work. By the time the fire brigade arrives, the people here will burn to death," Aman thought. He was getting very angry. Such a big incident happened in front of him in a few moments and he could not do anything.
"Look please, don't panic. We will get you out of here," Aman shouted.
"How will you get us out of here, sir? The main door is burning in the fire and you are talking about getting us out," a girl said crying.
"You take courage. We will do it," Aman said to her and then shouted to the manager, "You said that there is a back door here. Can we use it in an emergency?"
"I don't know who you are and why you asked about this. This is not the time for all this, but the back door is built on the back side of the kitchen. Being near the kitchen, it must be burning first," the manager said in a panicked voice.
Aman looked around. The restaurant was surrounded by fire from all sides and the heat was increasing there. Due to the short circuit, the fire had spread even more.
"I will not let them die like this," thinking this, Aman moved towards the window and somehow opened its door. "Can I get water?" he asked.
"There is no water available anywhere except on the tables," a person said.
"Be thankful that there is something. For now, this is the only window that is burning the least. Please you people come near the window and bring the water on your respective tables. Also, wrap the cloth spread on the table around yourself so that your skin does not burn," Aman said in a loud voice.
Aman's words gave those people a ray of hope. Those people quickly started following the instructions he had given.
The kitchen staff inside the blast had been badly burnt, there was no news of the people present there yet.
Aman helped the people there to get them out. Johnny also considered it necessary to save his own life instead of Aanshi and he also left from there.
In a short time, both the fire brigade and the ambulance had reached there. The people present there had been safely evacuated. The fire brigade team was trying to control the fire. Some people also joined in rescuing the people trapped inside.
Amidst all this, Aanshi was very scared after seeing the fire. She was lying unconscious in the corner near her table.
"Thank God. These people were taken out in time," Aman thanked God in his mind and started to leave from there.
°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°
After rescuing everyone in the hotel accident, Aman was about to leave when he noticed Aanshi lying unconscious near a table.
"Oh my goodness! How could I miss her?" Aman rushed towards Aanshi. He looked at her face. "Oh, it's that screaming girl. Why do I always find her in this state that I can't even ask her anything? I hope I haven't missed anyone else like her."
Aman quickly looked around. There was no one else there except Aanshi. He picked Aanshi up in his arms. He put his mask back on before going outside.
"Let's save you again, screaming girl." Aman came out with Aanshi.
"There's a fire inside." Aanshi mumbled in her unconsciousness. She tried to open her eyes, but everything looked blurry.
Aman took her to an ambulance and laid her on a stretcher. "She panicked because of the fire. Please check if she has any major injuries." Aman said to the nurse present there.
After that, he left from there. Instead of going to Artistic's office, Aman went to his headquarters.
Aanshi regained consciousness a while after he left. "Who brought me here?" Aanshi asked the nurse.
"I don't know, ma'am. He was wearing a mask," the nurse replied.
Aanshi strained her memory, trying to remember. She couldn't remember anything, but Aman's blurry face floated before her eyes.
"Those eyes again. Who are you? You can't be an ordinary person. That day too, I overheard some of your conversations. You and your team were there to diffuse the bomb," Aanshi thought to herself.
The nurse gave Aanshi some medicine, after taking which she felt a little better. Aanshi took an auto and came home.
Preeto ji was unaware of the accident. She noticed that Aanshi's clothes were a little blackened and her face was also pale.
"What happened, girl? Why do you look so down? I've already told you that I'll take care of your father. What's the need to be so gloomy?" Preeto ji asked.
Aanshi was still thinking about the masked boy. As soon as she heard Preeto ji mention her father's arrival, she lightly hit her head and said, "I completely forgot everything because of that boy."
"Which boy?" Preeto ji asked, raising her eyebrows.
"No one, Grandma. And now you don't need to worry about Dad. I've found a way for him too," Aanshi replied.
"You're not thinking of doing something wrong, are you? Aanshi, you know your father well," Preeto ji asked, giving her a stern look.
"Yes, Grandma, I know him well. So well that I haven't even seen his face for the past 10 years," Aanshi said angrily.
"He wanted to go to London to meet you, but he couldn't find the time because of work," Preeto ji defended him.
"Just stop it, Grandma. Don't you get tired of taking his side? He couldn't come to London, so what? He could have called me here, right? Anyway, leave it. I don't want to spoil my mood by talking about all this. I'm his daughter too. Let him try to kick me out of India now," Aanshi said. After that, she went straight to her room.
Aanshi had brought all her belongings with her when she left London. She had come with the thought that she would never go back to London.
Aanshi took out her documents from a bag and started working on her CV, taking good care of them. After finishing her work, she went for a bath. When she came out, she saw that it was 4:00 PM.
"Dad will be here by tomorrow evening. I don't have much time. I need to find a vacancy," Aanshi picked up her laptop and started searching for vacancies.
"Nothing special is available," Aanshi said to herself. "The companies where vacancies exist are not big enough to be affected by the departure of an employee. Moreover, I don't have many degrees either. It seems I'll have to wait for that tailless monkey to come," Aanshi said to herself.
Tired and defeated, Aanshi closed her laptop and lay down. Aman's face was still floating before her eyes, though blurry.
"Who are you? Your eyes. Your eyes have just settled in my mind. But whenever we meet, I'm in such a situation that I don't get a chance to ask you anything. Whoever you are, it's certain that you're a spy. And I'll find you." Thinking this, Aanshi fell asleep there.
_____________
After handling the rescue operation at the hotel, Aman reached headquarters. It was the headquarters of a secret agency that didn't look normal at all. Their work was hidden from the eyes of the world, so their office was also beyond people's imagination.
The security agency's office was built in the basement of a haunted house in Chandigarh. No one could have imagined that such a place could exist inside a haunted house.
After going inside, Aman went to the office of the chief, who was a man of about 55 years. His hair was gray and he had a thick beard on his face. His nameplate was on his table, on which his name was written, 'Tej Prakash Dutt'. As soon as he came inside, Aman saluted him.
"I heard about the accident at the restaurant. I really appreciate you, you saved the lives of the people there," Mr. Dutt said in a serious voice.
"Thank you, sir," Aman replied in a composed tone.
"I know, Aman, you are perfect in your work and handle things very well, but that man escaped in the fair's blast. You had concrete news, even then how could that man escape from your hands?" Mr. Dutt said.
"It was our failure, sir!" Aman took all the blame directly on himself.
"But I heard something else from Mr. Gupta's mouth. He was saying that there was a girl present there, who shouted and gathered a crowd, and because of the stampede, the whole plan went wrong. Taking advantage of the opportunity, that man escaped from there," Mr. Dutt said.
"We were handling the mission, not that girl. An ordinary person reacts in the same way after seeing a bomb and tries to save the lives of the people there. That girl did the same," Aman said, taking Aanshi's side.
"For the time being, I have handled the matter. I hope that I don't get news of failure from your side in the future. This mission is very big and the blasts happening in the city are a part of it... Remember, there should be no negligence in the future," Mr. Dutt said in a stern tone.
"Yes, sir," Aman said in a composed tone and saluted him and came out of his cabin.
There were other officers present outside, just like him. Everyone greeted him well. One of his colleagues, Divyana Bajaj, came to him. She was about 26 years old and very beautiful to look at. Fair, innocent face, brown eyes, and waist-length hair.
"Hello, Mr. Kapoor. I heard that the criminal who planted the bomb has escaped," Divyana came to Aman and taunted him.
"This is the office of a security agency, Miss Bajaj... not a news channel that you are taunting me with hearsay. Everyone here knows that the man had escaped. Then what's the point of coming and asking me?" Aman said angrily.
"It means that if you had taken me in your team instead of those useless Jas and Lavanya, maybe you wouldn't have received the news of failure," Divyana said, raising her eyebrows.
Hearing her words, Aman thought for a while. He looked at Divyana Bajaj. Divyana looked quite beautiful and innocent.
After thinking for a while, he said, "It's not too late even now, is it?"
"Meaning? Are you really ready to take me in your team?" Divyana asked in surprise.
"Of course, yes," Aman agreed to her words and again quickened his steps towards Tej Prakash Dutt's office.
Divyana was surprised by his behavior. "Why did Aman suddenly say yes? After everything that happened between us, he hated even the sight of me. Then what could be the reason for saying yes?"
To find out what was going on in Aman's mind, Divyana also went to Tej Prakash Dutt's office behind him, so that she could hear the conversation between them.
°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°
Aman had said yes to Divyana joining his team. She was very surprised by his decision.
To find out the reason behind his "yes," Divyana followed Aman to their senior, Mr. Tej Prakash Dutt's office.
"Good, you came yourself, Divyana," Mr. Dutt said upon seeing her. "Actually, I was about to call you. Aman wants you to work on his team. What is your decision?"
"I don't have a problem, but Mr. Kapoor already has his full team. How would I fit in?" Divyana asked, wanting to know the whole story.
"Miss Bajaj, I cannot give you any information related to my mission until you join my team," Aman refused to tell her anything.
"See, now the decision is up to you. Aman needs another member in his team. Especially a female member. If you say no, I will recommend someone else," Mr. Dutt said.
"There won't be any need for that, sir, I am ready to join Mr. Kapoor's team," Divyana said without thinking too much. "Now can you tell me the reason for including me in your team?"
"You sign all the documents first, then you will find out in the meeting. The meeting will be at 2:00 AM. I will send you the location," Aman said, looking at Divyana.
"Until then, I will complete the remaining formalities," Mr. Dutt said.
Divyana and Aman agreed with him and walked out of there. As Aman was leaving, Divyana walked quickly behind him, "I need to talk to you, Aman."
"But I am not in the mood to talk to you, Miss Bajaj. Even though I have said yes to taking you on my team, don't be mistaken that things will be alright between us now. A person gets deceived only once, especially a secret agent," Aman said with a slight smile and left.
Divyana's face held expressions of anger and sadness together due to his behavior. "I know that I lost you because of my mistake, but now that you yourself are giving me a chance to come close to you, I will not let you go away from me. I know the path is very difficult but not impossible," Divyana thought and returned to her cabin.
_________
Leaving the secret agency's office, Aman was going to the Artistic office. After meeting Divyana, old memories related to her were bothering him.
"First of all, I have to explain to Lavi why I took Divyana on my team? I know very well what is going on in your mind, Divyana, but I am not some dress kept in the mall, which you go back to buy after rejecting it once," Aman was talking to himself while driving.
Just then, Lavanya's call came on his mobile. He stopped the car on the side and started talking to her.
"Can I know why you took Divyana on our team?" Lavanya asked as soon as she picked up the phone. She had received the news of Divyana joining their team. It was clear from her voice that she was very angry with Aman's decision.
"Oh, so you already found out. I was actually about to call you to tell you. Lavi, Divyana is your sister," Aman was trying to explain to her.
Lavanya interrupted him, "And also the girl who used you. Still nothing is spoiled. Aman, I want you not to include Divyana in our team."
"Don't worry, she will definitely be on our team but will not work with us. Divyana knows very well how to play with people's hearts. Anyone can be deceived by her innocent face, then what is Vihdik Rana," Aman said with a smile.
"Understood. Who could be better than Divyana for a person like Vihdik Rana," Lavanya understood from Aman's words that Aman had chosen Divyana to send to Vihdik Rana.
"Now you don't have any misunderstandings, right?" Aman asked.
"You clear everything in front of me without asking me, so how can there be any misunderstandings between us? Still, I would like to say that you should be aware. No one knows Divi better than you. She will try to come to you again," Lavanya replied.
"Now that can never happen," Aman replied.
"I have full trust in you. Okay, then talk later," Lavanya said and cut the call.
Aman reached his office straight from there and got busy completing the work that he had left unfinished.
____________
At night, Arjun and Aanshi were sitting and talking in the garden outside as usual. Preeto ji had gone to sleep.
"Now tell me, what was that important work because of which you came to my office," Arjun asked.
"You told me that you have signed a contract with the company, according to which you cannot leave the job before a particular time period," Aanshi asked.
"What's new in this? Any big company signs contracts with its employees," Arjun replied, shrugging his shoulders.
"Exactly. I also want to say the same thing. I will get a job in a company and after signing a contract with them, Dad will not be able to send me away from here," Aanshi told her idea.
"Wow, monkey. Have to say, this time you have made a pretty good plan. But who will give you the job?" Arjun said, laughing.
Aanshi glared at him and said, "What do you mean who will give me the job? Hey, the same people who gave you the job. I will do a job with you in your company."
Hearing Aanshi's words, Arjun quickly said, "Absolutely not. After getting rid of you, I work peacefully in my office for some time. Now will you be on my head there too. I agree your plan is good and I will help you in finding a job but definitely not in my company."
Arjun flatly refused Aanshi. On his doing so, she started looking at him with a pout.
"I am also not interested in working with you but I did not find a good vacancy anywhere else," Aanshi said, pouting.
After listening carefully to her words, Arjun gave her an idea, "Mad girl, don't bother about vacancies. Take your CV and go to walk-in interviews in any big company. Who knows if there is a vacancy for an employee there."
"The idea is quite good. Let's do this then. Hope I get a job otherwise I don't know anything. I will come to your company only," Aanshi gave her final decision.
After that both had gone to sleep. Aanshi did not tell anyone about the accident in the restaurant.
_______
The next day Arjun had gone to his office. Aanshi also got ready for the interview. Before going to the interview, Aanshi went to Preeto ji.
"Your father is coming today. Remember?" Preeto ji said as soon as she saw Aanshi.
"How can I forget this," Aanshi said with a sad face.
"I will try my best to convince him but still if he doesn't agree, then I won't be able to do anything. Aanshi, you will have to go back to London," Preeto ji said lovingly.
"I hope that situation doesn't arise, Grandma. Let's leave all this and bless your granddaughter that she comes out successful in her mission," Aanshi said while touching Preeto ji's feet.
"I always pray for your success. May God keep you away from every evil, my child," Preeto ji blessed. "But you didn't tell me where you are going?" Preeto ji asked in surprise.
"I will tell you that only after the success of my work. Okay, I am leaving, if Papa comes, then call me once," Aanshi replied and started leaving from there in a hurry.
After saying bye to them, Aanshi had left from there. After leaving from there, she took out a piece of paper from her bag.
"I have written the names of the top five companies in Chandigarh in this. First I will go and apply in them," Aanshi said to herself and stopped the auto.
"Where to go madam?" the auto driver asked.
"Take me to the Artistic office," Aanshi sat in the auto, giving the address. She had chosen Artistic first to give the interview.
°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°
What is the relationship between Aman and Divyana, any idea?
Aanshi decided to take up a job in Chandigarh to stay there. She chose Artisticks for the interview first, which was owned by Aman Kapoor.
Early in the morning, Aanshi got ready and left for the Artisticks office, and after a while, she was standing in front of the office.
“The building is quite beautiful... Let's go inside and find out if there is any work for me here or not...” Aanshi said to herself and started going inside the building.
A girl was present at the front reception. She went to her and said, "Excuse me, ma'am... I came here for an interview."
"But the company has not put out any job vacancy. As far as I know, no advertisement has been put out in newspapers or on the company's official site." the receptionist replied.
"Yes, I know that, but what can't need make a person do?" Aanshi muttered.
The receptionist said, "Looks like ma'am, you have some misunderstanding... or you may not have read the company name correctly."
"I have no misunderstanding. You talk to your boss and see." Aanshi made a last attempt.
"Okay, I'll ask but there's no point in calling. We keep staff in waiting so that we don't have a problem even if someone leaves in the middle." The receptionist called upstairs for Aanshi's satisfaction.
After a short conversation on the phone, she said to Aanshi, "I told you, ma'am, there is no vacancy here for the time being. Thank you."
"Good thing..." Aanshi made a face and started to leave from there. While leaving in a hurry, she collided with Aman, who had come to the office at that time.
In the frustration of not getting a job, Aanshi shouted at Aman. "Can't you see where you're going?"
"What are you doing here?" Aman recognized Aanshi immediately upon seeing her.
"I came to find a job, but here these people keep the staff in waiting. If you have also come to find a job, then there is no point." Aanshi told him.
Hearing her words, Aman had a smile on his face. "There is a job available here. You come with me, I will..."
Aman was talking to Aanshi when he interrupted her and said, "Yes, you are talking as if it is your company."
Seeing Aman there, the receptionist came out from the counter and said, "Good morning sir. They have some misunderstanding. She had come here to give an interview whereas we have no vacancy here."
Hearing sir from the receptionist's mouth, Aanshi understood that Aman is the boss there. She stammered and said, "So you are really the owner of this company?"
Aman smiled and nodded in agreement and said, "Come with me. After Lavanya left, I needed a personal secretary. Let's see if you are worthy of this job or not."
Saying this, Aman moved towards the lift. After he left, Aanshi looked at the receptionist and said, "I told you there would be a job available here for me."
Aanshi left from there. After she left, the receptionist was looking at both of them in surprise. "But Aman sir does not like to keep an assistant. Then why did he say yes to that girl? Lavanya ma'am handles all his work."
"Actually, I don't need you now, you shouting girl, but still at this time, keeping you on the job will be very beneficial for me. Through you, I can catch that man and know the whole master plan. If you work with me, then somehow I will know about him from you." Aman said in his mind.
Aanshi was also present in the list with him. She was staring at Aman intently.
"Why do I feel like I have seen him before too... I mean his voice... his voice is familiar." Aanshi thought.
The lift stopped on the 5th floor of the building, where Aman's cabin was. He signaled Aanshi to come behind him.
Aanshi was walking behind him looking around. She saw the rest of the staff engrossed in their work.
"Everyone here is working so dedicatedly, whereas in Arjun's office, there is less work and more gossip." Aanshi said in a low voice.
Aman was with Aanshi in his cabin. After sitting in his chair, he gestured Aanshi to sit in front.
"As the receptionist told you that we keep staff in waiting here. Miss Bajaj maintains all my work, but because of being on leave for a few days, you will do her work." Aman said as soon as he came.
"And when your Miss Bajaj comes back, then what will happen to me?" Aanshi asked with wide eyes.
"Then you will work as Miss Bajaj's assistant. But only if you are worthy of this job... Where is your resume?" Aman said.
As soon as Aman said, Aanshi took out the resume from her bag and handed it to him. He read her resume and said, "Your studies have been done from London University?"
Aanshi nodded in agreement to his words.
"Can I know the reason for leaving your MBA studies in the middle?" Aman asked in surprise.
"I don't think it is necessary to tell you. Am I eligible for this job or not?" Aanshi replied in a very rude manner.
"This is a job of a mere assistant and your qualification is high. Even after knowing everything, would you like to do this job?" Aman asked once again.
"Yes, because I need this job very much." Aanshi said helplessly.
Aman looked at Aanshi, who was wearing a branded dress. Her studies were also completed from London.
"Looking at you, it does not seem that you will be short of money. Then what need do you have for this job?" Aman asked, staring at her.
"It is not necessary that every work is done for money. Some work is also done to prove oneself and to maintain one's self-respect." Aanshi replied with full confidence.
"Okay... your job is final but think once again, if you want to go back to study, then it will not be possible. We do a 1-year contract with every employee. We can remove him if we want, but he cannot leave the job on his own." Aman had told her everything directly.
Hearing his words, a glow came on Aanshi's face. She said in a hurry, "I was eagerly waiting for this moment."
"What?" Aman said in surprise.
Aanshi quickly said, "Nothing... what I was saying, 1 year is a very short time. Why don't we increase the time period of the contract and make it 5 years?"
As soon as Aanshi said, Aman started coughing. "Think once again Miss Jindal... this is a job, not an FD that you want to fix for 5 years."
"Okay, let's leave 5 years... 2 years?" Aanshi said quickly.
"Your background is clear, right? Any crime history..." As soon as Aman said, Aanshi burst out at him angrily, "What do you mean? Do I look like a thief to you, that you are asking about my background?"
"Okay... I was just asking. There is a 1-year contract with everyone and there will be a 1-year contract with you too. You submit your details outside... you will get the contract after 2 days." Aman said calmly.
Aanshi made a childish face and said, "What? After 2 days... but I wanted it now."
"Now I am doubting you even more." Aman looked at her with suspicious eyes.
"No...no, I wanted to join this job quickly. That's why I was saying." Aanshi somehow managed the matter.
"You can join from today if you want, but the contract will be made after 2 days only. Go outside and meet Mr. Singh, he will explain your work to you." Aman said.
Aman told Aanshi everything. Aanshi was looking towards his eyes again and again. She wanted to think by closing her eyes, then Aman's blurry face started revolving in front of her eyes. Then she opened her eyes and looked carefully at Aman. Seeing Aman's eyes, she remembered the person who had saved her life.
"His voice also sounds familiar to me and his eyes... his eyes also look like those of the man who saved my life. Could this be him..." Aanshi was lost in her thoughts, staring intently at Aman's eyes.
Aman was calling Aanshi's name again and again, whereas she was lost in some other world. Aman picked up the glass of water kept near him and got up and poured half of it into the plant kept there.
He came back to Aanshi and poured the remaining half of the water on her mouth, as soon as the water fell on Aanshi's mouth, she stood up with a jolt.
"What is this nonsense?" Aanshi shouted.
"Can't you ever talk normally without shouting, you shouting girl..." Aman said irritatedly.
"What did you say? Shouting girl? Now I am sure you are the one." Saying this, Aanshi came to Aman and grabbed him with both arms and started looking carefully into his eyes.
Aman got even more irritated at her doing so and pushed her away from himself. "Have you gone mad? What nonsense are you talking about and who am I?"
"You... you are the one. You are a spy, aren't you? A secret agent..." Aanshi said.
Hearing Aanshi's words, Aman was surprised. His whole truth was in front of Aanshi, which he had hidden from people till today.
Aanshi had come to Aman’s office for an interview. When she heard his voice and saw his eyes, she recognized him.
“You’re a spy… or someone who works hidden from the world’s eyes. Some RAW or secret agent type…” As Aanshi said this, Aman looked around nervously. His biggest lie had been caught.
Aman took a deep breath and then looked at Aanshi and started laughing.
“Why are you laughing? Did I tell a joke?” Aanshi said angrily.
“It is a joke. Me, a secret agent? The company you’re standing in right now isn’t some street corner shop that a secret agent can successfully run while managing their work,” Aman replied.
Aman’s words confused Aanshi. What he was saying was true. “How can it be that it’s not you… Your voice is exactly the same. And your eyes…” Saying this, Aanshi started walking towards Aman. “Wait, let me see your eyes one more time.”
As Aanshi started coming closer to Aman, he quickly picked up the goggles kept on the table and put them on his eyes.
“Conjunctivitis… I have conjunctivitis. Don’t look into my eyes or you’ll get it too,” Aman said.
“Okay fine, we’ll see when your conjunctivitis gets better,” Aanshi said, raising her eyebrows.
“If you want to work here, you have to behave yourself and talk to your boss with respect,” Aman said in stern words.
“Okay sir… When your conjunctivitis gets better, you must let me check your eyes,” Aanshi said quite politely.
“Of course, Miss Aanshi… Now you may leave,” Aman said, pointing towards the door.
Aanshi came out of there. She was still looking towards Aman, trying to remember.
“If I hadn’t fainted that day, I would have definitely proved that it’s the same guy. He saved me at the fair, he was in the restaurant that day too. Sometimes I even suspect that the one whose phone I broke in the club was also him,” Aanshi was talking to herself.
On the other hand, as soon as Aanshi left, Aman took a sigh of relief. He sat on his chair and started drinking water to relax himself.
“Thank God she didn’t recognize me, otherwise she would have gone around shouting and proclaiming who I am. By giving her the job, I’ve created trouble for myself, but I can’t let her go either. It’s good if Lavi comes as soon as possible,” Aman said to himself.
Aman picked up Aanshi’s resume and started looking at it again.
“Aanshi Jindal… age 22 years… Oh, so the shouting girl’s name is Aanshi. But she hasn’t mentioned the reason for leaving London. Is there some problem in her background?” Aman started trying to find out about her through Aanshi’s resume.
__________
Lavanya was present in Vidhic Rana’s hotel. She was wearing a waitress’s dress and thick glasses on her eyes. After putting on dark makeup on her face, it was difficult for anyone to recognize Lavanya.
She had been waiting for Vidhic Rana’s arrival since morning. From morning to night had passed, but she had not only failed to find out about Vidhic Rana, she had not even been able to meet him.
“Hey, listen…” The head waiter called out to her.
At his calling out like that, Lavanya glared at him. She immediately changed her facial expressions and went to him.
“Yes sir… Tell me,” Lavanya asked, going to him.
“You have to take this food upstairs to the last floor for Vidhic sir,” As the waiter said this, Lavanya became alert.
“Is he staying here?” Lavanya asked immediately.
“Look, you’re new here, so I’m letting you off with a warning. From now on, just mind your own business. If you try to ask too many questions, you yourself will become a question,” The waiter said to her in a stern tone.
“Y…Yes! You tell me what to take. I’ll go,” Lavanya said nervously.
“No… you stay here. I’ll send someone else,” The waiter said, shaking his head.
Because of Lavanya’s asking questions, the waiter forbade her from going upstairs and left from there. With the waiter leaving, a golden opportunity also slipped from her hand, through which she could have found out about Vidhic Rana.
“I have to go upstairs no matter what,” Lavanya said in her mind and ran after the waiter. “Please forgive me sir, I’ll be careful from now on. I’ll do every task you tell me without asking any questions, and I won’t tell anyone about it either,” Lavanya requested.
The waiter glared at her and then said, “Okay. When you go upstairs, don’t ask anything there either. Just place the food in front of sir. And yes… if he needs something, call. You won’t come downstairs until he’s finished eating that food.”
The waiter explained everything to her. Lavanya nodded in agreement to his words. That waiter placed different kinds of dishes in a serving plate.
“Take this upstairs through the serving trolley. Remember what I said,” The waiter said and left from there.
Lavanya quickly took the serving trolley and went to the top floor through the lift. She looked around in the lift.
“There might be cameras here, just like in every corner of the hotel. There might be another chance to meet Vidhic, but if I get caught the first time, who knows what will happen.” Lavanya tried to appear normal and reached Vidhic’s floor without any extra preparation.
No one was allowed to go to the upper floor. Only someone with Vidhic’s special permission could go there. When Lavanya reached upstairs, she saw that Vidhic’s house was built on the upper floor.
“Oh, so that’s why no one has been able to find out where Vidhic Rana lives until today?” Lavanya thought and moved her steps forward.
No one was present there. Lavanya looked around, the house was quite luxurious, where expensive furniture and showpieces were placed.
“I… Is anyone there?” Lavanya asked, raising her voice.
There was no sound in response. Lavanya looked around once, she could not see anyone. Then suddenly, the sound of a shower running came from the bedroom.
She knocked on the bedroom door and said, “Vidhic sir… I have dinner for you…”
Before she could finish her sentence, Vidhic shouted in response, “Okay. I’m coming. Do one thing, my towel must be lying on the bed outside. Hand it over to me.”
“Y…Yes sir…” Lavanya replied and moved her steps into the bedroom. She picked up the towel kept on the bed and knocked on the bathroom door and said, “Sir… towel…”
“Come inside,” Vidhic replied from inside. Lavanya’s heartbeats increased.
“I don’t know what all I have to do in the name of the mission,” Lavanya mumbled in her mind.
Lavanya reached inside with the towel, then she saw that there was a separate section for bathing in the bathroom, which was entirely made of glass. Vidhic was bathing inside. Lavanya glanced at him. Seeing him without clothes, she immediately lowered her gaze.
“Keep it there and wait for me at the dining table outside,” Vidhic said.
In response, Lavanya said nothing and quickly came out after keeping the towel. After some time, Vidhic also came out. Instead of wearing clothes, he had wrapped a towel around his waist. Lavanya was seeing him for the first time.
“He looks so innocent and well-behaved, then why does he do such crooked things. His face doesn’t suit his work at all. Who can say that the well-known name of the mafia, Vidhic Rana, is so handsome to look at,” Lavanya thought.
Lavanya was averting her eyes after seeing him like that. Vidhic smiled looking at her. He went back inside and came out after wearing clothes.
“Looks like you’re new here,” Vidhic asked, sitting at the table.
“Yes sir…” Lavanya said, lowering her eyes.
“Come on, serve the food quickly. I’m very hungry,” Vidhic said.
As Vidhic said this, Lavanya quickly started serving the food. Her hands were trembling slightly and she was scattering the food here and there in a hurry.
Suddenly, Vidhic grabbed her hand and said, “Leave it, I’ll do it.”
“But the head waiter told me to serve you food,” Lavanya replied.
“Yes, so he told you to serve me, not to drop it… Have you had dinner?” Vidhic asked. He was talking in a very normal way. Looking at him, no one could tell that he was such a dangerous mafia.
Lavanya shook her head in no without saying anything. Vidhic gestured her to sit at the nearby table and started putting food in two plates.
“Thank you sir, but I’ll go and eat downstairs,” Lavanya said, refusing.
“Do as much as I’ve said,” Vidhic looked at her, glaring.
Obeying his words, Lavanya quietly started eating food. Instead of eating food, Vidhic was watching her eat.
“Sir, why aren’t you eating something?” Lavanya asked hesitantly.
“I’ll eat, but you need to eat more than me,” Vidhic replied.
“I didn’t understand something, sir?” Lavanya asked in surprise.
“Don’t worry, I’ll explain everything. Yes, so you eat the food well. After this, you have to do one such work for me, in which you will need a lot of energy,” Vidhic looked at her with a mysterious smile.
As he said that, Lavanya was shocked and stood up from her place and started adjusting her clothes.
Seeing her doing this, Vidhic laughed loudly and then said, controlling his laughter, “Don’t be afraid, my taste isn’t that bad. I won’t do anything with you… The work is something else.”
“But sir…” Before Lavanya could finish her sentence, Vidhic took out a revolver from the drawer of the dining table and pointed it at her, “Sit down and eat food quietly.”
Lavanya got scared and quickly sat down and started eating food. She was not able to understand what Vidhic wanted to get done with her.
She was with Vidhic Rana, who was sitting pointing a gun at her. Anything could happen to her in the next moment.
°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°
Lavanya took food for Vihidik Rana to his apartment on the top floor of the hotel. There, Vihidik initially treated her very well, but then he was forcibly feeding her at gunpoint so that she would do the work he gave her.
"Sir, please let me go," Lavanya said, frightened.
Vihidik shook his head in response, "What do I gain by keeping you here? It's just a small job. Now eat quietly and let me eat too." Vihidik placed his revolver on the dining table and started eating.
After a while, when they both finished eating, Lavanya placed both plates back on the serving trolley and started clearing the table.
"Impressive... Before today, no waitress who brought food here has ever done this. I had to call the cleaning staff to clean everything. I will definitely reward you for this good deed."
Lavanya did not respond to his words. Even though she was a secret agent, she was alone in this place.
"Sir, you were talking about some work," Lavanya asked, summoning her courage.
"Oh yes, I had forgotten, but you haven't. Come with me..." Vihidik said and started walking towards a room.
Lavanya secretly picked up a knife from there, hiding it from his sight. After that, she quickly walked behind Vihidik.
"Maybe someone here didn't tell you not to use your brain. You are strange. Sometimes you impress me completely, and the next moment you make me angry." Vihidik said, looking at her askance.
Lavanya did not understand what he meant. Vihidik came very close to her, put his hand around her waist, and snatched the knife from Lavanya's hand.
"This is not a child's plaything," Vihidik said in a stern voice and threw the knife away.
"Sorry, I was scared..." Lavanya said, frightened.
"Come on... Do I look like a devil or a monster, that you got scared of me? Too much time has been wasted. Now quickly get to work," Vihidik said, walking towards the cupboard in front.
He opened the drawer of the cupboard with a jerk and gestured for Lavanya to come closer.
As soon as she saw the drawer, Lavanya screamed loudly. "This...this is...a...a..."
"Yes, this is not a...a...but a corpse," Vihidik completed her sentence.
There was a girl's dead body in the drawer. That cupboard was not an ordinary cupboard. It was a deep freezer, inside which Vihidik secretly kept the dead bodies of the people he had killed, until someone disposed of them.
"You have to dispose of this corpse," Vihidik said.
"But how can I?" Lavanya said in surprise.
"Look, it's not my fault. Usually, a male waiter comes here to deliver food and this is his job. Today you came here. That means you will do this work," Vihidik said, shaking his head.
Lavanya was trembling with fear. She had come to find out about Vihidik Rana, but he had assigned her the task of hiding his crime.
"Why are you scared? Look, I am not going to get all this done for free. You will get a reward for it... Okay, I understand. Girls want the gift first and the work later," Vihidik said and, thinking for a moment, looked at the girl's corpse. There was an expensive diamond ring on her finger. He tried to take it off, but the ring would not come off her hand.
Vihidik looked around and saw the knife that Lavanya had brought. He quickly picked up the knife and cut off the girl's finger, took the ring out of it, and moved towards Lavanya.
"This is too expensive for your gift, but still, keep it. It must be worth between 5 to 7 lakhs at least. Looking at the design, it seems like a single piece has been made," Vihidik said.
Lavanya did not respond to his words, so Vihidik forcibly put the ring in Lavanya's hand and left.
After he left, Lavanya glanced at the girl's corpse, whose throat had been slit and brutally murdered. Her face was disfigured with a knife or some sharp weapon so that she could not be recognized.
Suddenly, Vihidik came back into the room and handed her the car keys, saying, "Are you still standing here? Come on, quickly take her body out of the drawer. The hotel is in the main area of the city. It is only 8:00 now. It will take a lot of time to take her away, dispose of her, and bring the car back here. You will have to do everything very quickly and secretly from the police. Go through the private lift."
After saying this, Vihidik left. Lavanya somehow took her body out and started dragging her outside. She saw that Vihidik was sitting in the living room, enjoying a movie. There was an expensive bottle of wine in front of him, and the glass was also full. Seeing Lavanya, he smiled, raised the glass of wine towards her, and said cheers.
"If I take her from here, people will see me," Lavanya said.
"This is my hotel. No one will ask you anything. And what did you think, you would have to go through the main door? There is a garden behind the house and on the other side of it is the lift. That lift is only for my use..." Vihidik explained everything to her.
At that time, Lavanya had no other option but to obey him. The girl's body had become quite heavy. Lavanya had to put in a lot of effort to drag her. She was struggling to drag her to the lift.
Vihidik was not affected by all this. First, he was looking at Lavanya. When she left, he started watching the movie on the TV screen with pleasure.
________
Aanshi had to do a good amount of work on the first day itself at Artistic. Due to the important project, all the employees had planned to work until 10:00 pm.
"It would have been better if I had joined from tomorrow. How he is making us work like robots," Aanshi muttered, sitting at her desk.
On the other hand, one wall of Aman's cabin was made of glass, through which he could see everything outside. Seeing the frustration on Aanshi's face, there was a smile on his face.
"I know, you must be thinking that you shouldn't have joined the office today. If you work here until midnight, you will understand very well that Aman Kapoor, who works late at night, cannot be a spy," Aman said to himself.
While working, Aanshi's eyes went towards Aman in the cabin, and she quickly started moving her hands.
"He thinks he is too smart. If it is such an important project, what is he looking at outside instead of working? I will find out everything about you, Aman Kapoor," Aanshi thought.
Aanshi was busy with her work when Mr. Singh came to her. He had some papers in his hand.
"Aanshi Madam, these documents need to be signed by Aman Sir. Please go to his cabin and get his signatures," Mr. Singh said.
"You can do this work yourself, then why are you telling me?" Aanshi asked.
Hearing her answer, Mr. Singh looked at her in surprise. Then he said, "No Madam... You are working in place of Lavanya Madam. No one is allowed to go to Aman Sir's cabin except Lavanya Madam. Therefore, whenever we need a signature or have to talk to Sir, we have to tell you first."
"Now what is this new mess," Aanshi muttered and took the papers from Mr. Singh's hand.
After taking the papers, she knocked on Aman's cabin door and asked for permission to come in.
"Yes, come in Miss Aanshi..." Aman replied, hiding his smile.
Due to working for too long, Aanshi looked quite tired and troubled. "Here Sir, please sign these papers," Aanshi placed the papers carelessly on Aman's table.
"Looking at you, it seems that you will not be able to do this job. The contract has not been signed yet, you can back out if you want, Miss Aanshi..." Aman said with a slight smile.
"No Sir... Once I decide to do something, I never back out from it," Aanshi replied. Her face was sullen.
"As you wish," Aman replied.
"You want to remove me from here so that I can't prove that you are a secret agent and you saved my life twice," Aanshi said suddenly.
Aman was signing the papers. As soon as he heard Aanshi's words, his hands stopped. He glared at her and said, "Looks like Miss Aanshi, you should see a psychologist. Hasn't anyone told you that you have hallucinations?"
"And hasn't anyone told you that just a mask on the face is not enough to hide your identity. You should also wear goggles on your eyes. Anyone can recognize you Sir..." Aanshi said, shaking her head.
A slight argument was going on between the two when Lavanya's call came on Aman's phone. Since Aanshi was in front of him, Aman did not pick up her call.
"Sir, your phone is ringing. Maybe it's an important call, anyway, all the calls of a secret agent are important," Aanshi said.
"It's not that important," Aman replied carelessly and started signing the documents brought by Aanshi.
Lavanya wanted to tell Aman about the work for Vihidik, so she was calling him again and again.
"Now I am really doubting that you are a secret agent. What is so important in this phone call that you don't want to pick it up in front of me," Aanshi said.
Aman did not reply to Aanshi's words and picked up the phone.
"Aman... there has been a big mess here. I am sending you the location. You reach here right now," Lavanya said in a worried voice.
"Don't worry Lavi, I'm coming right now." Hearing her voice, Aman also got worried. He quickly hung up the phone and started going to Lavanya.
"Sir, you are forgetting your important project, for which your entire staff is staying here late to work," Aanshi said from behind.
Aman did not reply to her words and quickly left in a hurry. This act of his increased Aanshi's suspicion even more.
°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°
As soon as Lavanya called, Aman quickly took his car to the place she told him. Lavanya sounded quite scared and worried, which made Aman also worried.
It was 11:00 PM. After a while, Aman reached a crematorium. Lavanya had called him to a deserted crematorium. There was complete silence there.
As soon as Aman reached there, Lavanya ran to him and hugged him.
"Don't worry Lavi... I'm here. Everything will be alright." Aman said, caressing her.
"I'm very scared, Aman. That...that Vidhik Rana is really a monster. People are right about him. He's a cold-blooded murderer." Lavanya's voice clearly showed the nervousness from what had happened a while ago. She was trembling.
"Will you tell me what exactly happened? He didn't do anything wrong to you, did he?" Aman asked, pulling her away from him.
"He didn't do anything wrong to me. But..." Lavanya stopped speaking. She looked around. There was no one nearby. Then she lowered her voice and said, "Aman, there's a girl's dead body in my car. Vidhik Rana sent me to dispose of it. We don't know who that girl is and why he killed her, but there's a strange room in his house."
"And what's in that room?" Aman asked in surprise.
"There's a cupboard built in the room like a cold storage. It seems like he keeps the corpses he murders in it until he can get rid of them." Lavanya said.
Aman wasn't surprised at all by what Lavanya told him. He replied, "Lavanya, Vidhik Rana is no ordinary person. You know very well that he has connections to the underworld. What else can you expect from him? I know you haven't been involved in such dangerous work before, but just manage for two days somehow. Then I'll send Divyana in his life in your place." Aman tried to calm her down.
"What if he does something to Divi?" There was worry on Lavanya's face. Divyana was her sister. So, it was natural for her to be worried.
Hearing her, Aman rolled his eyes and said, "I'm afraid your sister might do something to him. Okay, now calm down and tell me where the dead body is?"
At Aman's question, Lavanya walked towards the car. He followed her. She opened the trunk of the car and there was a girl's dead body in it. The girl's face had been disfigured, making it difficult to identify her.
"Its body hasn't deteriorated much yet. This means it hasn't been dead for too long. We'll take it to the forensic team. Did you find anything from this girl's belongings that could help identify her?" Aman said.
Lavanya took out a ring from her pocket and handed it to Aman. "This ring belongs to this girl, which Vidhik Rana gave me as a gift. The ring wouldn't come off the girl's hand, so he cut off her finger. This ring can be very useful to us."
"Yes, looking at its design, it seems like it's one-of-a-kind. You take the dead body to the forensic team. I'll do something about this ring." Aman replied.
Lavanya agreed with him. "I don't feel good there without you. I haven't taken such a risk until now, Aman. I hope Divyana takes over the work soon." Lavanya said in a worried tone.
Aman stroked her hair and calmed her down, saying, "I care about you more than you think. You tell Vidhik Rana that you cremated the body."
"Will he believe me?" Lavanya asked.
"You take this dead body to the forensic team, and leave the rest to me. And yes... you'll come back here after delivering the dead body there." Aman explained everything to her.
Lavanya agreed with him. With Aman's help, the girl's dead body was placed in Aman's car. Lavanya had left for the headquarters with it.
"Vidhik Rana... you're exactly as people say you are. I know very well what needs to be done to convince you." Aman said to himself and started calling Jas.
"Hello... bro..." Jas said.
"Hello and hi later. Reach the location I'm telling you right now." Aman said seriously.
"Okay bro... can I come after a while?" Jas replied.
"Jas..." Aman replied irritably, "There's no ceremony going on here where you're the chief guest who can come a little late and it's okay. Sleep isn't more important right now... reach here right now."
"But bro, who told you I was sleeping? I was busy with my gaming. It's a bit of a hard level, so I thought if I leave in the middle, the flow would be ruined." Jas was busy playing games on the PlayStation in his room at midnight.
"Then stop your stupid game right now and bring the mannequin you had made for the hotel's promotion with you when you come." Aman said.
"But bro, it's very expensive and I have to return it too. I rented it." Jas said, making a childish face.
"Do as you're told." Aman said and cut the call. Until Jas came, he started gathering the wood lying around and preparing a pyre.
__________
As soon as Aman called, Jas stopped his game there and came out. A girl's mannequin was placed on the hotel's porch. It was made to look quite beautiful.
Jas looked at it lovingly and said, "Sorry darling... I thought you would be very useful to me. But now Aman bro has cast an evil eye on you. I don't know what will happen to you, but I'm very sorry for whatever happens." Saying this, Jas picked it up in his arms and came out. He locked the hotel and put the mannequin in an old car standing outside and left for the place Aman had told him.
In a little while, he had reached the place Aman had told him. He took the mannequin out and went to Aman.
"Yes bro... tell me what to do." Jas asked, going to Aman.
"Put this mannequin on this pyre and burn it, and also make a video of it burning." Aman replied.
Hearing him, Jas made a face and started looking at the mannequin. "I told you, someone has cast an evil eye on you."
"Who are you talking to?" Aman said in surprise.
Jas glanced at the mannequin and then pointed towards it, saying, "It's so beautiful and you want to burn it. If Lavanya was in your place, I would still think that she wants to burn it out of jealousy of its beauty, but you... spare this innocent one."
Aman didn't reply to him. He took the mannequin from Jas and laid it on the pyre. There was a bottle of petrol lying nearby. Aman emptied it on the pyre and then lit it with a lighter. He started making a video of the burning pyre on another phone.
Jas was looking at Aman and then at the burning pyre in surprise. "How can people be so cruel."
"Stop the drama, Jas... If you want to meet cruel people, go and meet Vidhik Rana. Here this mannequin is burning, if he were in my place, there would really be a girl here... alive." Aman replied irritably.
"But seeing its beauty, a lot of people started coming to the hotel. It increased my earnings by 2 times. Bro, you won't understand." Jas said.
Hearing him, Aman glared at him. "Don't tell me you still haven't stopped customers from coming and going there."
"You burned my sweetie, and on top of that you're saying to close the hotel too. Have some mercy." Jas said innocently.
"For God's sake Lavanya, come quickly or he'll drive me crazy." Aman started getting irritated hearing Jas's words. Hearing him, Jas put a finger on his lips and sat there waiting for Lavanya to come.
Lavanya had also reached there after finishing the work Aman had told her. When she reached there, the pyre was still burning.
As soon as she arrived, Aman handed her the mobile, saying, "This much evidence will be enough to convince Vidhik Rana that you have burned the corpse. Now go quickly. Take care of yourself and update me when no one is around."
Lavanya nodded in agreement with him and hugged him. "I miss you so much..."
"Yes, now Aman bro is not getting irritated. A while ago, when I was watching my sweetie burn, he was getting irritated seeing my sorrow, and now what she is saying, what is that?" Jas muttered softly, making a face.
Lavanya separated from Aman and had left from there. As soon as she left, Aman said to Jas, "Okay, you can run the hotel, but no one should have any doubts."
"Okay, but I won't forget what you did with my sweetie." Jas said.
"Good..." Aman said with a slight smile and left from there in his car. After he left, Jas had also left from there.
______
Aman went straight to Artistics office from there. When he went there, all the staff had left from there and the office was dark.
"Thank God everyone left on time. I need to relax alone for a while. I'll message Mom and tell her that I won't be able to come home today." Aman went to the office talking to himself. He turned on the light, but no one was present and there was complete silence.
"That's exactly the kind of silence I needed. My head is hurting so much." Holding his head, Aman came to his cabin and turned on the light. As soon as he turned on the light, he saw someone sitting on his chair.
"You? What are you still doing here and why haven't you gone home?" Aman said. Aanshi was sitting in front of him on his chair, waiting for him to come.
Aanshi got up from her chair and came to him and said, "Can I know Mr. Aman Kapoor, where are you coming from at this time?"
Aman didn't reply to that. Seeing him silent, Aanshi said, "A spy often works in the dark, hiding from the eyes of the world in the same way at night. Maybe to hide his truth from everyone, he runs a big business sitting in a big office during the day and something else at night... just like you. Caught, aren't you..." While talking, Aanshi was walking around him.
Aman couldn't understand how to deal with her. Aanshi was standing in front of him and waiting for the answers to her questions.
°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°
After helping Lavanya, Aman reached the office. He thought all the staff would have left, but when he came to his cabin, Aanshi was still there. She was asking him the reason for his late arrival.
Aman didn't answer Aanshi's question, so she asked again, "What happened, Mr. Secret Agent? Why are you speechless now? Mission successful? You don't have any answers to my questions, do you? Accept it now, what I'm saying is true."
Hearing Aanshi's words, Aman took a deep breath and then smiled slightly. "And by what right are you asking me all these questions? Are you my mom... or my wife? Why should I tell you where I went and why I went?" Aman cleverly avoided Aanshi's questions.
Upon Aman's evasion, Aanshi raised her eyebrows and said, "Intelligent, yes, maybe that's why you're so easily hidden from the eyes of the world, but you won't be able to hide from the eyes of Aanshi Jindal."
"Forget about me and tell me what you're doing in my cabin at this hour? Everyone's work is finished. Miss Jindal, what were you doing here, lurking around the office like a thief? Did one of my business rivals send you? Were you hired to extract some important information or to leak our project details?" Aman was deliberately making false accusations against Aanshi so that he could easily evade her questions.
Aman's questions had shifted all the attention from Aman to Aanshi. She stammered and said, "I... I just came today. Why would I collect information for someone else?"
"Then what's the reason for staying late here? That too in my cabin?" Aman asked.
Aman had diverted all the attention towards Aanshi. Aanshi was distracted. She had no answer to Aman's questions, so she said nervously, "I was waiting for you, sir. I don't have my own transport, and going home alone by taxi so late at night... it's not safe for a girl, sir."
"If you had asked any employee in the office, they would have dropped you off. The contract hasn't been signed yet, Miss Jindal, you can back out if you want. No one will be dropping you home every day," Aman said, shaking his head.
"We'll see about that later, you can drop me off today, can't you?" Aanshi said in a pleading way. Waiting for Aman had really made her quite late.
"But I'm not your driver... I'm already very tired..." Aman was saying when Aanshi interrupted him, "Yes, it's not easy for you to sit in the office all day and work like a donkey, then at night too..."
"Excuse me... what did you say?" Aman said, glaring at her.
"I just wanted to say in simple language how hardworking you are. Please ignore my donkey comment. I'm a bit outspoken," Aanshi said, quickly covering up.
"Control your tongue in the future. I don't like people who chatter too much. Now that you've accused me of being a secret agent, I've heard that secret agents secretly kill anyone and no one knows anything," Aman said normally. Hearing his words, Aanshi put her finger on her lips.
"Will you take me home...?" Aanshi said with her finger on her lips.
"Okay, let's go, but this will be the first and last time. In the future, if there's a need to stay late in the office, you can call someone from your home," Aman said and started walking out. Aanshi was following behind him.
"I don't know when I'll get a chance to ask this girl about that man. I need to know everything from her before Lavi comes," Aman said in his mind. They both got into the car and left to go to Aanshi's house.
Starting the car, Aman asked, "You're going so late, won't your family say anything?"
"I had already informed them by message. You also often disappear at night. Don't your family say anything?" Aanshi was circling back to the same topics with Aman so that he would confess his truth.
"No, Miss Jindal, I'm not a child like you, and my family knows what responsibilities I have. So they don't bother me," Aman said with a slight smile.
Aanshi didn't answer Aman's question and started thinking in her mind, "How long will you hide your truth? Working with you, I will make you reveal your truth with your own mouth."
After a while, Aman's car stopped in front of the address given by Aanshi. Looking through the lowered window at Aanshi's house, it wasn't too big, but it was built like a small bungalow. The garden in front of the house was further enhancing its beauty.
"Your house is quite nice. By the way, who all live here?" Aman asked, looking at Aanshi.
"This house belongs to my grandmother, which my grandfather built for her. Dad doesn't live here, and my mom is not in this world," Aanshi said in a slightly heavy voice. She was getting emotional about her mom.
"I'm so sorry... I didn't mean to hurt you..." Aman said to normalize her.
"It's okay... See you tomorrow, sir. Please get the contract papers ready so I can show them to my family," Aanshi said and came out. She waved goodbye to Aman and went inside her house. Aman was watching her go.
"As innocent as she looks, that's how mischievous this girl is. She didn't miss a chance to prove what I do. I need to be a little careful with her," Aman said to himself and turned his car back towards Artistic.

The next morning, Anshi's alarm was ringing in her room. Despite that, she was sleeping soundly, with a pillow over her ears.
Arjun came into her room and turned off the alarm. Waking Anshi up, he said, "If you keep sleeping like this, your boss will fire you on the first day."
"What boss and what work?" Anshi replied without opening her eyes.
"The same boss you started working for yesterday." As soon as Arjun said that, Anshi stood up with a jolt. She looked at the clock and it was 8:00 AM.
"I couldn't open my eyes because I slept late last night." Anshi quickly got up and started walking towards the bathroom. Suddenly she stopped and said to herself, "I came home late, so Aman Kapoor must have reached home late too, right? In that case, he must have been late too. When he is late himself, then who is going to scold me? Now I will go to the office relaxed."
"Forget relaxing and go meet your dad. He was asking about you last night too." Arjun told Anshi about her father's arrival.
Hearing Arjun's words, Anshi stopped right there and said, "Has he really come?"
Arjun nodded in agreement and left. Anshi's face showed a mixture of worry and sadness.
"I don't know whether to go out or not. It has been a whole 10 years since I met you. In all these years, you never even found it necessary to meet me once. Is money everything?" Thinking this, Anshi's eyes welled up with tears. "I don't want to meet you, Mr. Shiv Jindal..... I will get ready and go straight to the office."
Anshi decided not to meet her father and went to the bathroom. After a while, she came back and started getting ready to go to the office. She wore formals and tied her hair in a loose ponytail. The front strands of her hair were scattered on her forehead in layers.
Anshi picked up her bag and came out to go to the office. Preeto ji and Mr. Jindal were sitting at the dining table in front. Both were having breakfast. Anshi was trying to avoid eye contact with them, but still her eyes fell on them. He had changed a lot over the years.
He had a light beard on his face and the glasses on his eyes were a sign of his increasing age.
"Control Anshi control, you have to control your emotions. I know you haven't met him for so many years..... Often girls are very emotional about their fathers but don't forget what he did to you. He is always concerned about his work. He doesn't deserve your love." Muttering to herself, Anshi started walking straight out of there.
Shiv Jindal saw her going outside. He didn't say anything. When Preeto ji's eyes fell on Anshi, she called out to her, "Anshi puttar..... Where are you going? At least eat something before you go. How many times have I told you people, don't leave the house on an empty stomach."
"Dadi, I will eat something outside." Anshi replied without turning around. She knew that if she talked to her father once, she would not be able to refuse him and she would have to go to London again.
"Anshi..... Dadi is saying something. Come and have breakfast quietly." Mr. Jindal said in his stern voice.
Hearing his words, Anshi's emotions turned into anger. She turned towards him and said angrily, "It's not necessary to obey everything you say..... I have already said that I am not hungry, so I am not going to eat."
"And it's not necessary that whatever you children think is always right. Some decisions are taken by elders for their good. Even if they don't understand it at first, when they become mature, they understand it. You will understand it too." Mr. Jindal said. As soon as Anshi came, Preeto ji had told him about Anshi's anger.
"I am getting late for office, I will talk when I come back." Saying this, Anshi started to leave from there. Just then, Mr. Jindal got up and came towards her with quick steps.
"Beta, I want to talk to you. I know you are angry with me. Your anger is also justified. I haven't met you for the last 10 years but..... Please don't be stubborn." Mr. Jindal said softly. Anshi looked at Preeto ji and she gestured her to sit and have breakfast.
"You have 15 minutes. You can say whatever you want. I am getting late for office." Anshi replied and started having breakfast at the dining table.
"Beta, why are you being unnecessarily stubborn? This is a question of your future. It's just a matter of 1 year. After that your MBA will be completed. Beeji told me that you joined the job only yesterday. Do one thing, go and say that you want to continue your studies again. You are going to London, so you will not be able to continue this job." Mr. Jindal tried to explain to her. In the course of the conversation, he had announced his decision to Anshi.
Hearing his words, Anshi smiled slightly and then replied, "Mr. Jindal, a 22 year old adult is sitting in front of you, not an 11 year old child. You cannot impose your decisions on me like this. I don't want to go to London."
"Don't be stubborn Anshi beta, all this is for your good." Shiv said.
"I can think for my own good. And trust me, I feel more at home and better in India than in London. Now excuse me please....." After telling her heart, Anshi stopped the conversation there. She picked up her bag and started going to the office.
According to Mr. Jindal, the conversation was still incomplete and he got angry because of Anshi leaving in between. He shouted from behind, "No matter how stubborn you are, I will send you to London."
"Challenge accepted Mr. Jindal....." Anshi replied without looking at him and left from there. There was confidence in her voice and anger on her face.
