    Year 1850…

This was a time when the English power had strengthened its grip on India. The rulers of the princely states had become slaves of the British. Similarly, there was a princely state, "The State of Bilaspur".

The ruler of the Bilaspur state was Maharaj Vikram Pratap Singh. Today, there was a festive atmosphere in the palace. There was happiness all around. The palace was decorated very beautifully. Rani Mainavati was overjoyed. She was busy running around.

Mainavati called out loudly, "Hey Champa..! Come here. Jamuna, there should be no shortage of anything. Do you know how auspicious today is?"

Jamuna ran to her and replied with a smile, "Yes, Rani Sa! Everything has been arranged as you instructed. You have been running around since morning. Please rest for a while."

Mainavati: "Now, I will only rest when our Prince Rivansh comes before us. His father sent him abroad to study. By now, his studies must have been completed. After a whole 10 years, we will see our Rivansh. When he left, he was 15 years old. How big our son must have become, right? Now he must be of marriageable age too. Now, I cannot wait even for a moment. Only when he comes before my eyes will I find peace."

Another maid, Champa, also came running towards her. Showing Rani Mainavati the flowers, she asked, "Are these alright, Rani Sa? And why do you worry? It's just a matter of tonight. Once this night passes, then tomorrow the Prince will be before your eyes."

Mainavati replied, "It is this night that doesn't pass. How many nights have we spent waiting for him. But the wait for this one night is heavier than our wait for the last 10 years."

Mainavati turned from there towards the royal kitchen, where Rivansh's favorite dishes were being prepared.

On the other side, Prince Rivansh was riding his royal horse towards Bilaspur. Along with him were four boys from his state. Although all four of them were sons of the servants, Rivansh always considered them his friends.

Prince Rivansh was completely unaware that those whom he considered his friends were about to give him the biggest curse of his life.

    **A forest near Bilaspur…**

    **10 o'clock at night…**

Before entering the forest, Rivansh stopped his horse and asked, "Why are you taking me through this dense forest? The road goes from that side too, right?"

Vijay replied with a mischievous smile, "Oh, Prince! Why are you scared? This road is shorter. Rani Sa is going crazy waiting for you. So, we thought we should go this way."

Rivansh believed them and proceeded with them through the forest path. He too was eager to meet his mother.

After going some distance into the forest, the four of them signaled everyone to stop and ordered to camp there for the night. It was quite late at night and everyone was very tired, so they started setting up camp there.

Sanjay went to Rivansh and said, "While these people set up camp here, let's go for a walk a little further? What do you say, Prince, will you come?"

"No, I am very tired. And I am feeling quite sleepy too." Rivansh refused him.

On his refusal, the faces of the four of them fell.

Ravi said with a long face, "It seems that after studying abroad, you have forgotten your childhood friends? We were not worthy enough to go abroad and study. We are much smaller than you in status, that's why you don't want to roam with us, right?"

Rivansh said in surprise, "What kind of things are you people saying? I have never discriminated between rich and poor. Even though I have studied abroad, my values are still Indian. Come on, let's go."

Raghu took a bag with him. Rivansh looked at him questioningly, and he made an excuse, "It's just our food and drink in it…!"

Rivansh smiled and went ahead with the four of them. After walking a long distance, they went quite far into the forest.

"It seems you are quite tired, Prince! Come on, let's rest." The fourth boy, Ravi, said.

The five of them sat down there. Because of the cold, Ravi lit a small fire in the middle. Then he took out some tantric material from his bag. Seeing that tantric material, Vijay, Sanjay, Raghu, and Ravi had a mischievous smile on their faces.

Rivansh could not understand what all this was and why they had it.

To satisfy his curiosity, Rivansh asked, "What have you all taken out? We have stopped to rest, right?"

Sanjay was the most cunning of the four. He replied, "Oh nothing, Prince… it's a small prayer. For your safety and prosperity…! This way the night will also pass and look, (lighting the fire) if there is fire, wild animals will not come near us and we will not feel cold either."

Rivansh was very innocent by nature and true at heart. He was unaware of the cunning that was going on in their minds. He did not know that they were wolves hidden in the guise of friendship, who had come with the preparation to attack him from behind. He fell for their sweet talk and unknowingly got involved in that prayer. This prayer was no ordinary prayer. It was a very powerful black magic prayer. The four of them had been waiting for a long time for the day when they could perform that tantric ritual with the prince. They wanted to awaken the devil himself through that practice.

Rivansh was born on the day of the full moon in the Ashwini Nakshatra. Ashwini Nakshatra is considered the most powerful of all the constellations. The four of them knew very well that the prince's planets and constellations were very powerful. To consecrate this proven prayer, it was necessary to have a lord of a powerful planet constellation, so they dishonestly made him sit in the prayer. They use the blood collected from the sacrifice of many innocents in this prayer. They kept doing that prayer for a long time.

As the third watch of the night passed, ominousness spread inside the forest. The devil was the root of evil. His shadow fell on the forest and at that moment that forest turned into a cursed place. That dark night became even darker with that evil. The sound of wolves and bats crying was coming from all around. Animals started running here and there. Evil forces started coming from all sides, as if that devil, who was their king, was celebrating their arrival… witches and sorcerers were humming in their harsh voices… their voices were so terrible that blood started flowing from the ears of those five.

That shadow of the devil was very terrible. Even if nothing was clearly visible, his black shadow was enough to create terror there. It was very huge and frightening. His shadow covered the entire forest like the sky.

The five of them got scared. Just then a very terrible voice echoed, "Who has summoned us… don't you know… when a devil comes, he brings the death of many with him."

Raghu, Vijay, Sanjay, and Ravi sat down with their heads bowed. The scene was so terrible that not a single word came out of the mouths of the four of them. Rivansh became like a stone statue in his place. He could not understand what was happening there.

Gathering courage, Raghu stuttered and said, "M… master, we four slaves have summoned you. Victory to the master… victory to darkness."

Then that terrible voice echoed again, "Speak, what do you want?"

Vijay replied with a cunning smile, "Make us slaves of darkness. We want dark powers. We… take us into your whisper, master…!"

Sanjay continued his point, "We want to live forever. We want that even the shadow of old age should not fall on us."

Ravi: "Just do anything so that we always want to live. We want that as our age increases, our powers also increase."

"And what do you want? Speak… what do you want? It is through you that this prayer has been completed." The devil's signal was towards Rivansh.

Rivansh was so scared by all those events that nothing came out of his mouth. He became frozen there.

"Okay, given, whatever you five want… everything is given. But you know that every wish has a price here." His voice echoed throughout the forest.

Raghu replied, "We have paid the price, haven't we… we have offered you the blood of sacrifice of 100 children."

"That was the price of our arrival. Now what you have asked for will also have a price. The souls of all of you will be slaves of darkness. You will have bodies, but you will not have souls. You will always remain alive, but you will all have to live a cursed life. Your powers will increase day by day, but for that you will need the blood of living people."

Sanjay said fearfully, "W… what are you saying? We don't understand anything…!"

That voice laughed horribly and said, "You people will live the life of a vampire. Man-vampire… who live by drinking people's blood. You want long life, youth, and powers, right… a vampire has everything."

Hearing the devil's words, they all started running away from there in fear. Before they could leave from there, the devil caught the souls of all of them in his fist in one fell swoop and here begins the journey of those five from humans to man-vampires…!!

On the other hand, in the Bilaspur palace, Rani Mainavati and Raja Vikram Pratap Singh kept waiting for Prince Rivansh. But what comes is the news of their disappearance…!! The news spread throughout the entire state of Bilaspur that Rivansh and his four friends had made themselves slaves of the devil. Along with this begins the horrific journey of innocent deaths in the forests of Bilaspur…

    **Some time later**

    **Year 2018…**

    **Shimla…**

    **A small house…**

Akanksha Thakur shifted to Shimla with her grandfather Rajveer Thakur. Rajveer ji was a government employee and after retirement, he decided to live in Shimla. He had taken his house near the forest, where there was not much population. Rajveer ji wanted to live a peaceful life away from the noise of the city… whereas Akanksha was also the reason for him coming here to live. Rajveer ji's only son Mohit and his wife Nandini had died in a car accident. Rajveer ji had no one to call his own. Rajveer ji's life resided in Mohit and Nandini's daughter Akanksha. Whereas he was also very worried about the events happening with Akanksha. That's why he had brought Akanksha to a quiet place away from the crowd of people.

Akanksha was a 22-year-old girl… a simple, innocent girl in appearance… for whom her Dadu was now everything. Akanksha had completed her college studies and had taken admission to do her master's studies in a college in Shimla.

Rajveer ji called out loudly, "Akshu, beta, what are you doing? I have been watching for so long… it's 11:00 o'clock and you haven't gotten ready for college yet."

Akanksha replied, shouting, "Daddu, I will go to college alone, right… you go to drop me every day, so everyone there considers me a child. And I am not going to college today. I am going to my friend Janhavi's place today."

Rajveer ji went to her and said, "You don't make friends with anyone… so how is Janhavi now… and is she the one who lives in our neighborhood?"

Akanksha replied, making a face, "Daddu, her house is a whole 15 minutes away from our house, so how is she our neighbor? Now I am going and you will not come with me at all."

Rajveer ji said smiling, "Okay, go… but come back soon… and keep your phone's GPS on."

Akanksha left muttering, "Yes, so that you can find out the location of my every second. You too, Daddu… your Akshu has grown up now."

Akanksha said bye to Rajveer ji and went to meet Janhavi. Since Janhavi's house was nearby, she was going there on foot. Seeing the crowd gathered on the way, she went near that crowd.

Akanksha went ahead and asked, "What happened here?"

A man from the crowd replied, "Oh, the same thing that happens every day. Every other day, someone's dead body is found outside the edge of the forest. Now even the policemen are afraid to go inside this cursed forest."

Akanksha said, raising her glasses, "Cursed forest…!!" She said smiling further, "We are living in the twenty-first century. What kind of things are you saying, uncle? Let me also see the dead body found outside the cursed forest."

Saying this, Akanksha went inside the crowd and saw. There was a dead body of a 20-22 year old boy lying there. There were marks of an animal bite on the right side of his neck.

Seeing him, Akanksha thought, "Looks like an animal must have bitten him. That's why, look, the poor fellow died."

While thinking, suddenly Akanksha's hand collided with the boy's hand… and unwillingly Akanksha's eyes closed. As soon as her eyes closed, Akanksha started seeing some scenes.

"A boy was running in a terrible forest… there was darkness all around… and while running, the boy was pleading for help. Then suddenly a man came near him and started drinking his blood near his shoulder. In the meantime, the boy died."

And with this, Akanksha screamed loudly and fell unconscious there.

    To be continued…!!

Recap - You have read so far that in 1850, Prince Rivansh of Bilaspur State was returning to his state after completing his studies abroad. But on the way, his four friends tricked him into performing a Tantra Vidya, awakening a demon. The demon turned all five of them into a vampire.

The second part of the story depicts the story of the year 2018, where 22-year-old Akanksha Thakur has shifted to Shimla with her grandfather Rajveer Thakur. While Akanksha was going to her friend Janhavi's house to meet her, she saw a boy's dead body on the way. Unknowingly, when Akanksha's hand touched the dead body, she involuntarily started seeing all the events that had happened with that boy the previous night.

    Now, onwards....

Akanksha fainted after seeing all those visuals (scenes). The people around got worried seeing her unconscious. On the other hand, Janhavi also got worried when Akanksha did not come to her house and she left for her house to call her. As soon as Janhavi left the house, she saw a crowd gathered at some distance from her house. Janhavi went into that crowd and saw that Akanksha was lying unconscious near a dead body.

Janhavi said worriedly, "Akshu.... Akshu... what happened to you?" She quickly came to Akshu and said, "This girl is my friend. Does anyone have water?"

Then a child standing in front of the crowd handed her his bottle and said, "Sister, I have it. You take my water bottle. I don't know what happened to this sister..... who suddenly fainted."

Janhavi quickly took the water bottle from that child.

Sprinkling water on Akanksha, she said, "Thank you so much, child! Akshu... Akshu come to your senses....! Daddu had told you to come straight to my house. You too... where did you start playing unconsciousness in the middle?"

Akanksha regained consciousness after the water fell on her. She started to stand up while controlling herself. Her clothes were covered in mud.

Dusting off her clothes, she said, "I don't know why I only get these strange dreams?"

Akanksha felt that she was dreaming. Then she noticed that people were gathered around her and there was a dead body lying nearby. Seeing all this there, she understood that she was not dreaming any dream. She got a little scared seeing that dead body.

Akanksha held Janhavi's hand and said, "Janhavi, let's go from here.... I am feeling very strange."

Janhavi came out of the crowd with her.

"Of course... it is bound to feel strange. Who sleeps near a dead body? You were coming to my house, weren't you? Where did you stop in the middle?"

Akanksha said while walking, "Just like you came here after seeing the crowd, I also stopped here after seeing the crowd."

Janhavi laughed and said, "Oh, so it's all the crowd's fault. Okay, let's go home quickly. We will talk about the rest there."

Akanksha and Janhavi both reached Janhavi's house. Akanksha comes to Janhavi's house to make her project. But her attention was not on making the project, but on that dead body and the scenes related to it.

Janhavi saw that Akanksha was doing all the work wrong, she held her hand and said, "Akshu..! Where is your attention? You have done everything wrong."

Akanksha stopped the work in the middle and said, "Hey Janhavi... I don't know why I keep getting strange visuals."

Akanksha and Janhavi did not get much time to meet, yet both of them became close friends in a very short time. They both used to share everything with each other. She was of the same age as her. Janhavi and Akanksha's nature was quite similar to each other.

Janhavi replied to her, "Yes, I have also been noticing for the last several days. You suddenly faint and start talking deliriously after waking up. Doesn't it mean that you can see anyone's future or past... touch my hand and tell me who your future brother-in-law is.... and when will I meet him?"

Akanksha laughed after hearing her talk and said, "If it could be found out by touching hands like this, wouldn't I have found out about myself what all this is happening to me? All this happens suddenly."

Janhavi further asked, "Akshu..! What did you see when you touched that boy?"

"I don't know how my hand suddenly touched that dead body and my eyes closed. I saw as if that boy was running..... and shouting for help. He was in a forest and it was very dark there. Then another boy comes, who was wearing black clothes. His face was not visible. He comes near him and bites his neck and starts drinking his blood."

Hearing her talk, Janhavi started laughing loudly.

"Hey, it only happens in movies and serials. The person you are talking about... is a fictional person. Haven't you ever heard about vampires?"

Akanksha took a deep breath and said, "Yes, I have read a little bit. But I don't know much about it....."

Janhavi– "Search about it on the internet?"

Akanksha replied, "Nothing special will be found. I have searched about it before also. The same old worn-out things come up."

"So why don't we go to the city library and read about it? We will definitely find something there." Janhavi suggested.

Akanksha– "But Janhavi, the city library is very far from here. You know we live near the forests outside the city.... not inside the city area. It will be very late by the time we come. Anyway, I had only told Daddu to come to your house."

Rajveer ji had a prior idea about Akanksha's supernatural powers. That is why he did not allow her to meet many people and after his retirement, he took his house away from the crowded area near the forests. Akanksha also used to obey his every word without asking any questions.

Janhavi– "I will call Daddu and tell him that you are staying at my house tonight."

"As if you don't know anything.. that Daddu keeps my phone's GPS on anytime. As soon as we go..... he will find out." Akanksha said making a face.

Janhavi– "Are you single, aren't you?"

Janhavi often used to ask strange questions. Akanksha laughed and replied, "Yes... but why are you asking this? You know everything, don't you."

Janhavi–" So who will call you apart from Daddu? You leave your phone at home. Daddu will think that you are at home. First, we will talk to him that you will stay here tonight. After that, we will leave this message that we are studying, so don't disturb us by calling. Don't worry at all, we will also come back by evening."

Akanksha said, "I don't know how you make so many upside-down plans? But I want to know about it, otherwise I will never support you in these plans."

Janhavi said with a slanted smile, "So let's go..! Let's go to the city library."

Akanksha called Rajveer ji and took permission to stay at Janhavi's house at night. He said yes without asking any questions. Akanksha and Janhavi both went to the city library to know more about vampires. It was about 4 o'clock in the evening when they reached there.

    City Library......

When they reached there, it was time for the library to close. There was not much crowd there.

Looking at the time in the clock, Akanksha said, "I had said that we will be late. It is already 4:00 by the time we reach here. When will we do our research and when will we go back.... I don't know if we will find anything here or not....."

Janhavi replied, "Hey, you don't know this is the oldest library in Shimla. All kinds of books are available here. Even from the history of Shimla,,,,,, you will also find a book about the life of every king. Let's see.

Akanksha has always been fond of reading. Looking at the books in the library, she said, "Wow...!! If I was not getting late, I would have sat here and read all the books. Let's find out quickly now."

Akanksha and Janhavi went to the librarian.

Going there, Akanksha said, "Listen sir! We need books related to vampires."

Continuing her point, Janhavi said, "Yes... if you know about other supernatural characters also, then we also need books related to it."

The librarian there looked at both of them and then raising his glasses, said, "It seems like the whole of Shimla is reading about vampires these days. There were only two or three books related to vampires, I mean the life of vampires here. That too, someone had it sanctioned 2 days ago. He had said for 1 day, but he has not returned the books yet. The number he had given is also not working. I don't know what kind of people there are..... first they take the books and then they don't return them. If they return it also, then they tear it.... or take out any page from it."

"Please sir, it is very important for us to know about vampires. Please, if there is any other book, you should check it once." Akanksha requested him.

The librarian, chewing paan in his mouth, said, "You are behaving in such a way as if you have met a vampire just 1 hour ago..... and now you want to know about him."

Akanksha and Janhavi made a face looking at him.

Janhavi– "Can any other library have a book related to the life of a vampire?"

The librarian replied, "A book cannot be found.... but yes, if you want to know about the story of a vampire, then there is an old librarian here and he will be sitting in the office below. He comes here to read books every day. Go and ask him, he has done a lot of research on this."

Janhavi and Akanksha quickly left and met Mohan Das Gupta, the old librarian of the library.

Mohan Das Gupta was a 75-year-old man, who was small in stature but very experienced. Mohandas ji had worked in that library for about 40 years. In these 40 years, he read a lot of books. Despite retiring, his love for books still attracted him to the library.

Akanksha said joining her hands, "Namaste sir... we had to ask you something very important."

Without waiting for his reply, Janhavi quickly said, "Do you know anything about vampires, I mean vampires? A creature that lives by drinking someone's blood."

Mohandas ji raised his eyes and said, "Hey.. hey girls, calm down. This is a library.... it is not allowed to make so much noise here."

Akanksha lowered her voice a little and said, "Please sir, will you tell us something about them."

Mohandas ji was sitting there reading a book. He closed his book and said, "Come, sit down both of you... will you drink tea?"

Janhavi smiled and said, "Tea is not asked for sir..... it is ordered directly."

Akanksha– "Yes, it will be more fun to know about vampires while drinking tea."

Hearing their talk, Mohandas ji smiled and he ordered tea for both of them.

He further said in a subdued voice, "There were about 10 books related to vampires in this library. But whoever took those books from here, never came to return them. Just this morning I had a conversation with Dhyanchand, who is currently managing this library. A boy had come 2 days ago. He took the remaining three books also. He had said for 1 day, but he has not come yet. The number he had given is also coming off. I am afraid that nothing untoward has happened to him too."

Hearing his talk, Janhavi and Akanksha got a little scared. Still, in the curiosity to know about vampires, both of them decided to stay there.

Janhavi asked, "So will we never be able to know about vampires.?"

Mohandas ji– "No girls..! It's not like you won't be able to know. I will tell you as much as I have read about them.

Akanksha opened her mouth to say something when a boy brought tea for them. Mohandas ji gestured them to remain silent in front of him. The boy looked at both of them while keeping the tea. Mohandas ji immediately gave him money and sent him away from there.

As soon as he left, Mohandas ji said, "Science does not believe at all that there is any creature like a vampire on this earth. Science has completely denied their existence. You are children of today's time... yet why do you want to know about vampires?"

"We have got an assignment in college, so we wanted to write about it. Just for that..!" Akanksha lied.

Mohandas ji said laughing, "Yes, that's what I think that where do today's children believe in vampires, vampires, witches and chudails. Yes, then listen... according to history, vampires are neither living nor dead creatures. They are not living because they do not have a soul inside them.... and they are not dead because their body never gets destroyed. It is said that vampires live a cursed life. They never die.... I mean their body never gets destroyed. But I don't believe this thing... whatever is born is bound to be destroyed."

Janhavi asked in surprise, "So can vampires also be killed?"

Mohandas ji replied, "Yes..! Absolutely can be killed. But how can it be killed..... I cannot help you people in this matter. These people live by drinking the blood of a living creature. Their age never increases. In whatever age they become vampires, their age stops there."

Akanksha asked, "How does any person become a vampire?"

"I don't know much ..... but they also have some demonic processes. Some people call the devil by repeating these processes and ask for powers from him. It is said that if evil gives something, then it takes its price. In return, the devil makes their souls his slaves and leaves their bodies to live a cursed life.... that's all I knew, which I have told both of you." Mohandas ji was answering their every question. He did not know much, but in the last few years, while living in that library, he had read a lot of books about it. That same knowledge of him was coming in handy here today.

Akanksha and Janhavi got a little scared after hearing about vampires from Mohandas ji. Then Akanksha's attention went towards the time, it was 8:30 at night.

Akanksha said worriedly, "Janhavi, we are getting late. By the time we reach home, it will be 10:00."

Janhavi widened her eyes and said, "After listening to his talk, I am feeling even more scared. What if we find vampires on the way and they party tonight with our blood.....!"

Mohandas ji started laughing after hearing both of their talks.

"You children of today also na.... just take everything jokingly. There is no existence of vampires in today's world. Now go home without fear. All this is just stories." Mohandas ji explained to them to end their fear.

After hearing Mohandas ji's talk, Akanksha and Janhavi felt a little satisfaction that there is no existence of vampires and without fear, both of them left for home.

As soon as they left, Mohandas ji said in a serious tone, "May God protect these girls. Even though I have told them that there is no existence of vampires.... but every day someone or the other's dead body is being found in the forest. Their deaths are also happening in a very mysterious way. In such a situation, who can say that there is no existence of vampires even today."

  • 3. A cursed vampire and his angel - Chapter 3

    Words: 0

    Estimated Reading Time: 0 min

Around 10 PM, in the forests of Shimla, which people still consider cursed and are afraid to even visit, four friends, Piya, Palak, Ansh, and Mayank, had come for trekking. They were between 20-23 years old. Since it was night, they didn't go inside the forest and set up a tent nearby, playing games around a bonfire.

Mayank, spinning an empty bottle, said, "Come on guys... quickly select... Truth or Dare...."

The bottle's edge spun and pointed towards Palak, seeing which the other three shouted loudly.

Palak, tossing her hair, said, "Dare...! I'm not afraid of anyone.... Tell me quickly what to do!" Seeing Palak's enthusiasm, a smile appeared on the faces of the other three.

Ansh quickly spoke up, "I'll give you a dare!"

Piya agreed with him and said, "Come on Ansh...! Make her do something dangerous so that all the daredevilry spirit leaves Madam's head."

Hearing her words, Palak made a face. Before she could reply, Ansh said laughingly, "Okay Miss Daring Palak...! We've come for trekking, right? So go inside the forest and take a round of it."

Hearing his words, Palak said with wide eyes, "But this forest is very big. How will I roam around the entire forest at this time of night?"

Palak refused to accept his words. Ansh forbade her from doing the dare.

    But Piya was still adamant.

"Palak, take your mobile... and if not much, go one kilometer into the forest. That will be enough. But you will have to complete your dare."

Ansh said, "Yes, if you don't go today, your name will change from Daring Palak to Fattu Palak."

Mayank glared at them and said, "No.... Palak won't go anywhere. You know what people are saying about this forest... this forest is cursed."

Ansh – "You too have started believing in people's talks. There's nothing inside this forest... Go Palak... and if you're scared... then tell us."

Palak had no choice left but to say yes. Showing her attitude, Palak said, "Palak Mehta is not afraid of anyone. I will go not just one, but two kilometers deep into the forest."

Mayank still didn't want to support them in this foolishness. He was trying his best to stop her.

"Please Palak.... don't be stubborn. We'll go into this forest during the day. Anyway, we have to go inside tomorrow. Don't do something foolish that you have to regret for the rest of your life."

Piya said with glaring eyes, "Palak...! This Mayank is a coward anyway. Don't pay attention to his words. You do one thing... take this bag with you. It has food and drinks in it, and take this torch.... it will be very dark in the forest. And yes, turn on the step tracker, so we can know how many steps you have walked in the forest."

Despite Mayank's repeated explanations, Palak went inside the forest due to Ansh and Piya's insistence.

She was moving forward in the forest, feeling nervous. To distract herself, she was listening to music with earphones in her ears. Palak was moving forward with the torch in her hand with difficulty. The trees there were so dense that anyone would be scared to see them.

Controlling her fear, Palak said, "I have come so far inside, but it is so dark here. Anyone would be scared here. Hey Bajrang Bali...! Protect me. I don't know why it's so quiet here? I'll do one thing, I'll walk around here and there and then say that I have gone 2 kilometers."

Palak was wandering around when she felt someone's presence there. That thing passed right by her ears faster than the wind.

Palak shouted, "W...who is it... who is it.... there... come in front. P.... Piya.... Ansh ..... Mayank.... is it you guys to trouble me? I know very well that you guys have come behind me to trouble me. Look, I don't like this kind of joke at all."

Despite Palak's shouting, no one appeared. Then that gust of wind passed by her again with the same speed.

Palak started running backwards from there, feeling scared.

"S...save me..... S.... save me..... save me someone."

Palak was running wildly here and there. Due to the darkness, she couldn't understand which direction to go in, and she got lost in the forest maze. While running, the torch and the bag fell from her hand. Then suddenly she collided with someone. Palak closed her eyes in fear. Then she felt that she was in someone's arms.

Palak slowly opened one eye and said, "W... wh... who... are... you?"

There was no reply from the front.

Palak gathered courage and opened both her eyes.

"Answer.... who are you? What are you doing in this forest?" Seeing him there, she gained some courage. She moved away from him and said, "Were you scaring me?"

Palak took out her mobile from her pocket and turned on its torch and looked towards that boy.

She saw that a tall boy of 24-25 years was standing in front. There was a different glow on that boy's face, and there was a light beard on his face, which was looking quite good on his fair face. Looking at his hazel green eyes, Palak was just staring at him.

Looking at him, Palak murmured, "Mayank was unnecessarily worried. He was reacting as if there were demons in the forest. But who knew that a prince would be found here."

That boy said in a slightly commanding voice, "What are you doing here so late at night?"

Palak said in a lost voice, "You look like a prince of some kingdom. Aren't there those who come in girls' dreams, a #prince of dreams... who comes riding on a white horse.... and takes his princess away."

He replied with the same command, "I am a prince.... Prince Rivansh!"

Hearing his words, Palak burst out laughing. She further said, "Okay, which kingdom are you the prince of?"

Rivansh replied, "It's a little far from here.... Bilaspur."

Palak– "By the way, you do look like a prince, but you joke quite well. Where are the kingdoms in this era. By the way, what is your age?"

Rivansh said in a lost tone, "Which year is going on?"

Palak still thought everything was a joke. Suppressing her laughter, she said, "It's 1950."

"So much time has passed..? If it's 1950, then..." Rivansh said, counting on his fingers, "Then I am 125 years old."

Hearing his words, Palak couldn't stop her laughter now. She started laughing loudly.

"You... you joke a lot. If someone else hears it, they would really get scared."

While speaking, Palak turned back, but she couldn't see anyone. For a moment, she got very scared, when suddenly someone came from behind and grabbed her waist tightly. Palak turned around and saw Rivansh standing very close to her. Palak's heartbeats started increasing uncontrollably.

Palak said dazedly, "Oh, we have just met. And so soon... I also fell in love with you at first sight.....! But... " While speaking, her eyes closed and she started feeling that moment.

Her eyes were closed. Suddenly, Rivansh's two front teeth came out. The innocence of the face that Palak was attracted to was now reflecting the evil of a demon. His green eyes turned bloodshot.

Rivansh said in a heavy voice, "Please forgive me....!"

Palak got terribly scared hearing Rivansh's voice. Before she could understand anything, Rivansh's mouth was on the right side of her neck. He was drinking her blood by putting his mouth on her neck. Not a single drop of blood was left inside Palak, and she fell down limply. Rivansh had Palak's blood on his lips. As soon as he drank the blood, a different glow appeared on his face.

Rivansh picked up Palak and threw her out of the forest from there.

On the other side, Akanksha and Janhvi reached home around 11 PM. Janhvi's mom and dad had gone out of station for some reason. As soon as Akanksha reached home, she checked her mobile, and there were many calls from Rajveer Ji in it.

Akanksha looked at Janhvi angrily, "Janhvi's kid....!"

Janhvi made an innocent face and said, "What yaar..? I'll be a kid only when you hold my hand and tell me something about your future brother-in-law."

Hearing her words, a smile appeared on Akanksha's face even against her will.

"You too....! I hope Daddoo hasn't found out?"

Janhvi said laughingly, "Just say the phone was silent.... you fell asleep or say anything yaar...."

They were talking to each other when the doorbell rang. Since there was no one at home, both of them got scared, and as soon as she remembered Mohan Das Ji's words, Janhvi shouted, "I won't open the door...! What if there's a demon!"

Akanksha said nervously, "Then why should I open it... what if a demon eats me?"

Janhvi– "It won't eat you. I have said that I won't open the door... anyway, who would it be at this time of night?"

Hearing Janhvi's words, Akanksha got lost in thought. The area they lived in had houses built quite far apart from each other. So, someone coming at this time of night was almost impossible.

"Do you know Hanuman Chalisa, Janhvi?"

Janhvi nodded her head in agreement.

Akanksha– "Okay, then let's both sing it together in chorus. But we'll have to go to open the door."

"Jai Hanuman....!" Both of them said together when Rajveer Ji's voice came from outside, "Akshu.....! Janhvi..! Open the door. Girls, are you both alright?"

Hearing his voice, Janhvi breathed a sigh of relief.

"Oh God.... Daddoo scared us. I thought some demon had come."

Akanksha glared at her and said, "Hey girl.... don't call my Daddoo a demon."

Janhvi– "Then who comes like this in the middle of the night?"

Akanksha moved towards the door with her.

"I had said that ... if I don't pick up the call, Daddoo will get scared."

"Will get scared or scare us" Janhvi stepped forward and opened the door.

Seeing both of them safe and sound, Rajveer Ji also breathed a sigh of relief. Rajveer Ji was talking while entering inside with them.

"Where were you both? I have been calling for so long. Neither were you picking up the call nor were you opening the door. Janhvi..! If you were alone, you could have come to our house. You both scared me..! "

Akanksha said while closing the door back, "Oh Daddoo ... we are not kids anymore. You come inside... now that you have come so far, then stay here at night."

Janhvi– " Yes Daddoo you don't go back. What if some demon picks you up...! "

Hearing her words, a smile appeared on Rajveer Ji's face.

"Akshu is right that her friend Janhvi is a little crazy."

Hearing his words, Janhvi looked at Akanksha angrily, so she caught her one ear while smiling.

    "Sorry..!"

Rajveer Ji stayed at Janhvi's house with Janhvi and Akanksha.

On the other side, Mayank, Ansh, and Piya were waiting for Palak outside the forest. It was 2:30 AM, but Palak had not returned yet. They got worried about her not returning. They also called her, but her phone was showing out of coverage area.

Mayank looked at both of them angrily and said, "I had already said that this forest is cursed. I had forbidden Palak from going inside ... but because of your foolishness, Palak's life may be in danger today."

Piya was regretting what she had done. She said with tearful eyes, "Now I am also scared for Palak. It has been almost 4 hours since she left... and she has not returned yet."

Ansh– "If I had known, I would have never let Palak go. I don't know why my heart is very worried."

All three of them got very worried for Palak.

"Why don't we go inside the forest and look for Palak?" Piya suggested.

Hearing her words, Ansh got a little angry.

"Have you gone mad? What if this forest is really cursed? Let's go to a nearby police station."

Mayank–"First let's search for her around the forest. But we won't go inside the forest. Maybe Palak will be found somewhere around here."

"Let's go and find her separately." Ansh said, so Piya held his hand in fear, "No.... Please.... I am very scared. We won't go anywhere leaving each other. We will stay together wherever we go."

    Mayank– "Piya is absolutely right."

All four of them were searching for Palak here and there when suddenly Piya's foot collided with something and she fell down.

As soon as she fell down, Piya's eyes fell on the thing in front. She felt someone's presence, turned on her mobile's torch, and shouted, "Palak.... Palak .... Palak what happened to you? How did you come here?"

As soon as Piya said, Ansh and Mayank turned the light of their respective torches towards Palak. Seeing her, Mayank felt a little suspicious, and he put his finger in front of her nose to check her breath.

His eyes widened seeing her. He looked towards Piya, who was standing holding his hand.

"Piya...! Quickly get away from Palak because this is not Palak, it's her dead body." As soon as he said this, Piya screamed and moved away from her.

Seeing Palak's dead body, the three of them panicked. Pia, out of fear, hugged Ansh tightly, crying.

Ansh, flustered, said, "G...guys, we should leave from here. P... Palak is dead now. We... we need to save ourselves. If the police find out, their first suspicion will be on us. We... we were the ones who forced Palak to go into the forest."

Pia agreed with him, nodding her head. But Mayank got angry after hearing his words.

He shouted, "Have you gone mad, Ansh? What kind of things are you saying? Anyway, Palak came with us. Her family knows that very well... and as for the police, they will reach us one way or another."

Pia, crying, said, "I'm very scared. Will we be sent to jail? I don't want to go to jail. Please do something. My career... my parents will kill me."

"How can you both be so stupid? What are you talking about... when we haven't done anything, why would we go to jail unnecessarily? I'm calling the police right now and summoning them here. If you run away like cowards, the police will definitely suspect us."

Ansh: "Pia... Mayank is absolutely right. If we run away from here like this, the police will think that Palak died because of us. But don't ever tell the police that we dared her and forced her to go into the forest. W... we will say that she lost her way... or say something else."

Pia was standing there, crying loudly.

"Yes, Mayank, I think so too. Ansh is absolutely right. We... we shouldn't tell the police that Palak went into the forest because of our stubbornness. I'll do whatever you say... but please don't tell this to the police."

Mayank, calming her down, said, "Pia, don't panic! When we haven't done anything, what's there to be afraid of? Pia and Ansh, you both stay here... I'll call the police."

Mayank called the police and informed them about the incident that had happened there. The police team arrived in about an hour.

It was about 4 in the morning. Chief Inspector Shyamdas Gupta arrived with three constables. He was taking stock of the crime scene, twirling his thick, dense mustache. After searching around for a long time, he approached the three of them.

Inspector Dubey said, yawning, "Don't you youngsters ever get any rest? I've told you so many times not to come for trekking near this forest. I don't know why a danger signboard hasn't been put up here. I've told you so many times that this forest is cursed. Still, I don't know why you enter it...!"

Hearing him, Mayank said in surprise, "Sir, why are you talking about such superstitious things even after being educated?"

Inspector Dubey: "Son, the thing is... let it be... Tell me, do you believe in God?"

Mayank replied to him, "Yes... who doesn't believe in God?"

"So, when you believe in God, then learn to believe in the devil too. Where there is good, evil is also necessary. If there was no evil, then what would be the need for God? Some things are beyond thought and understanding. So, don't use your mind there."

Ansh and Pia were standing there silently.

Turning towards them, Inspector Dubey said, "If you people are so fond of roaming around, trekking, and doing adventures, then at least get some information about the place before going to any new place. This is not the first dead body that has been found near this forest. Dead bodies of someone or the other keep getting found here every other day."

"If someone's dead body keeps getting found here every other day, then why don't you people find out who is killing these people?" Ansh taunted them.

Constable Sawant, laughing at his words, said, "Who will go inside this cursed forest? Many people have tried to find out about this before... but no one has ever come back alive. Now just look at your friend."

Hearing their words, Ansh, Pia, and Mayank got scared. Their eyes went to Palak's dead body... which had turned white due to the lack of blood.

Inspector Dubey further asked, "Okay, now tell me all your details in short."

"We four people had come here for trekking. This is our friend Palak Mehta," Pia replied.

Inspector Dubey noticed that she was flustered. "By the way, why did she go into the forest... that too alone?"

Pia replied stammering, "Sir, she... P... Palak... g... got... lost."

Inspector Dubey: "When all four of you came together, how did she get lost alone?"

Before Pia could say anything, Mayank spoke up.

"Sir, Pia is panicking after seeing Palak's dead body. I will tell you how she got lost... we four were playing Truth and Dare. Palak selected Dare for herself. And going into the forest was decided. She didn't come back for a long time, so we went out to look for her. We searched for her for about half an hour and while searching, we reached here. Then Pia's foot collided with Palak's dead body."

    Mayank told him everything truthfully.

Inspector Dubey further said, "And you thought that we would suspect you people first, so you would mislead us by lying. But it's not like that. Here, dead bodies of someone or the other keep getting found outside the forest. You people give your statements... and yes, tell the truth about what happened, as it happened."

Constable Sawant was writing everything down in a diary.

"What would be her age? Where are you people from... write down her parents' name and address, everything."

They were interrogating. Just then the ambulance also arrived there.

Inspector Dubey said to them, "I will send the dead body for postmortem. Anyway, the report will be the same as what came in the reports of all the other dead bodies. Still, the formality has to be done. You all go to the police station with Sawant and write down your respective statements."

As Inspector Dubey was about to leave from there, Mayank ran up to him.

Mayank went up to him and said, "Excuse me, Inspector! Can I know what came in the postmortem reports of the other dead bodies found near this forest?"

Inspector Dubey replied, "Looks like you people didn't search anything about these forests before coming here. Otherwise, you would have definitely found one or two articles about it on the internet. The dead bodies that are found near this forest, not a single drop of blood is found inside those dead bodies. The cause of death is also not known... and all the dead bodies have marks of an animal bite on their necks."

Hearing him, Mayank was stunned. He had already left from there in the ambulance. Sawant took the three of them with him to the police station to give their statements.

It was 5:00 AM. Akanksha was sleeping with Janhavi in her room when she suddenly started screaming loudly in her sleep.

"No.... No... Please... Don't kill me. Let me go.... Please...!"

Janhavi, still sleepy, lightly nudged her and said, "Hey Akshu, let me sleep. Can't you stop chattering even in your sleep?"

"Save me.... Save me....!" She was still screaming in her sleep.

Janhavi somehow got up and said, "Akshu, what's wrong with you? Oh God! She's completely drenched in sweat. Looks like she definitely had a vampire in her dream." She shook Akanksha to wake her up, "Get up Akshu.... What happened to you?"

Hearing her voice, Akanksha woke up and hugged her in fear.

"Janhavi, I had a very bad dream. I'm really scared."

"Anyone can tell you had a bad dream just by looking at you. Look at your face. It's completely red with fear. By the way, what did you see in your dream? Surely some hot vampire must have come."

Akanksha scolded her, "Hot or cool.... I don't know..... but whatever it was, it was terrible."

Janhavi, looking at the clock, said, "You know what my grandmother used to say? Dreams seen in the morning come true... Imagine Akshu... if that vampire really comes in front of you.... and what did Mohan Das Gupta ji say, that they drink someone's blood to stay alive... and a hot vampire lovingly comes near your neck.... and takes a big bite and sucks all the blood out of your body."

"Your nonsense starts again in the morning. I'm already scared, and I didn't see any vampire..... so stop daydreaming with your eyes open. If a vampire ever comes in front of me, I'll throw you in front of it first."

Janhavi made a face and said, "What kind of friend are you... you'll get your friend bitten by a vampire?"

"Wasn't the same friend getting me bitten by the same vampire a minute ago? But seriously, I had a very scary dream...... like I'm just running here and there in the jungle and I don't understand where to go. And that jungle is like a maze, it just doesn't end. Then suddenly an animal attacked me."

Janhavi– "What a boring dream. I had to wake up so early in the morning because of your fear."

"Now that we're awake, let's both get ready and get back to the project. Anyway, we didn't do anything yesterday trying to find out your truth."

Akanksha forcibly put Janhavi to work. They both sat in the room and worked for a long time.

After getting up, Rajveer ji made breakfast for both of them. When he called them, they both came downstairs and started watching TV while having breakfast with him.

TV Anchor – "Last night, another body was found near the forests. The surprising thing is that this body also has the same animal bite marks on its neck.... that were on the bodies found earlier. Can it be said that this forest is a cursed forest.... or, as some people believe, there is a lair of werewolves there. See, we do not promote any superstition. But still, should these incidents be considered a coincidence and moved on, or is there some illegal racket going on in the forest, to hide which all these murders are happening? #Belief or Superstition

Janhavi and Akanksha were a little scared after watching that news. They started remembering the words of Mohan Das ji. Palak's photo was being shown on TV, seeing which Akanksha's eyes started closing.

Akanksha turned her face away from the TV. While Rajveer ji and Janhavi were busy eating, Akanksha had something else going on in her mind.

"Why am I getting visuals about this girl after seeing her on TV? My eyes are closing even though I don't want them to. It feels like this girl is walking in the forest.... suddenly she collides with a boy and falls into his arms. Then that boy talks to her and comes close to her and starts drinking her blood. Are there really vampires?"

Before she could say anything, Janhavi asked Rajveer ji, "Daddoo, are there really vampires?"

"Yes Daddoo..! I was about to ask the same thing. Is it really....."

Rajveer ji interrupted Akanksha and said, "You both are kids of today. Are you getting scared after listening to the useless things of these news people? These people have to increase their TRP. They will show anything for that."

Akanksha– "Daddoo, do supernatural powers exist? I mean can someone have magical powers?"

Rajveer ji got a little nervous hearing the name of magical powers from Akanksha's mouth.

"You people keep watching who knows what in this mobile phone... Have you ever heard of anyone having anything like magical powers. All this is delusion and nothing else. Come on... you two kids study here, I'll go home."

Rajveer ji avoided Akanksha and went home from there. Akanksha's questions had troubled him.

"Why did Akshu suddenly talk about magical power? Has she started realizing her powers somewhere.... Oh God! Was it necessary for all this to happen with my child? I have already lost my only son and daughter-in-law. Now at this age, I don't have the courage to lose my Akshu at all. Protect my child.... even if she has any natural power unknowingly, please take it back. Who knows what will happen..... Is there any danger to my child?"

Suddenly Rajveer ji started remembering some things from the past.

About 18 years ago, when Akanksha was only 5 years old, he had gone with her to the temple of Goddess in Kangra. After the death of his son and daughter-in-law in a road accident, he often used to wander in temples in search of mental peace.

There, a man was lying unconscious near the temple. Everyone was gathered around him. Rajveer was standing in the same crowd with Akanksha. The chief priest of the temple was checking the man's pulse.

"He has been bitten by a snake. That is why his body has started turning blue. Before it is too late, we have to treat him. Did he go into the forest some time ago? Do one thing... Mohan.....Sohan, take him to the dispensary. I will collect some herbs from nearby till then."

Two or four people together took that man towards the temple dispensary. The chief priest had gone a little further to collect herbs when Akanksha ran and grabbed his hand.

"Daddoo, don't go there... that snake is still there. I saw this uncle was plucking some things in the forest, then a snake fell on him from the tree.... and bit him. If you go there, that snake will bite you too."

Rajveer ji and the chief priest were both surprised to hear Akanksha's words.

Rajveer ji said in a low voice, "Don't pay attention to her words. Akshu is a bit imaginative. She must have heard the talk of snake bite from your mouth, that's why she must have said it. We have been inside the temple for a long time, so how can she know what was going on inside the forest....?"

The chief priest replied with a smile, "Shriman, please do me the favor of coming with me to my chamber."

The chief priest was about 90 years old, who used to do penance while living in the temple. The people of the temple respected him very much. He also had some supernatural powers attained through penance.

Rajveer ji went to the chief priest's chamber with Akanksha. There was nothing there except a mat.

The chief priest kept his hand on Akanksha's head and said, "As soon as I saw the child, I understood that she is no ordinary child. Although, if seen, no one is ordinary in this world.... but some people are able to recognize their powers and some remain unknown to them throughout their lives."

Hearing his words, Rajveer ji asked in surprise, "What powers are you talking about, chief priest ji? My child is only 4 years old."

"Karma is not determined by looking at our age, Shriman. God sends every person on this earth with a goal. These powers will help this child in fulfilling that goal. I don't know much about what powers she has.... because I haven't tested her. But I can definitely say that this child can see ghosts. She can feel the events of people connected to her from around her, what happened to them in the past?"

Rajveer ji– "You know, chief priest ji, how selfish this world is. If someone comes to know about my child's powers, then they will definitely try to misuse them. I will never tell my child about her powers."

The chief priest said with a smile, "Yes Shriman..! As you wish. You may not tell her anything. But when she starts getting closer to her goal.... or the time for which her birth is destined will come,,,, then her powers will start awakening. Rest, have faith ...... the child will never be in danger."

Remembering those things, Rajveer ji shuddered.

"Is that time approaching, for which my Akanksha was born? For which God has blessed her with some amazing powers? Oh God! Protect my child. May these powers not become her devourer."

    To be continued....!

  • 6. A cursed vampire and his angel - Chapter 6

    Words: 0

It was 11 in the morning. After Rajveer left, Akanksha and Janhvi were sitting in the hall making their project. Both of them were still caught up in Mohandas ji's words.

Janhvi suddenly asked, "Akshu, what do you think... do these vampires, witches, chudails, ghosts, etc., really exist... or is it all a figment of our imagination?"

"I don't know, yaar... haven't you seen the news... how corpses are found outside the jungle every other day. And there are animal bite marks near their necks too. If there really is an animal in the jungle that kills people, why does it always bite near the neck? And always in the same spot?" Instead of answering her questions, Akanksha raised even more new questions.

Both were working together while talking because they had to submit their project the very next day.

Cutting paper with a paper cutter, Janhvi said, "I don't know, yaar, what's true and what's delusion... my mind has been stuck on it for so long. I don't feel like doing anything else. On top of that, this project named disaster is looming over my head."

Janhvi's entire focus was on the conversation. Because of this, her hand got cut by the paper cutter. The cut was deep, causing a lot of blood to flow. Akanksha got very scared seeing this.

"What did you do... Janhvi, look how much blood is flowing. You always keep blabbering. Where is your attention?"

"What if there's a vampire around here and it comes here after seeing my blood... do something, Akshu! It's hurting a lot." Janhvi was joking even in such a situation.

"Your cut is very deep, yaar. We'll have to go to the hospital. I'll do one thing... I'll tie something to stop the blood from the wound."

Janhvi shouted in pain, "Aaaahhh...! Do whatever you have to do quickly. It's hurting a lot."

Akanksha ran and brought the first aid box. She cleaned Janhvi's wound and bandaged it.

"Janhvi, I've bandaged it. Despite that, your blood isn't stopping. We need to go to the hospital as soon as possible. You do one thing... sit behind me, I'll drive the scooty."

"I'm not going anywhere. What if I meet a vampire on the way... and... and it comes to me after seeing my blood?"

"If we meet one, I'll deal with it. I'll tell it to take the blood of some other animal instead of you." Akanksha teased her.

Janhvi glared and replied, "Do I look like an animal to you... that you'll offer the blood of some other animal instead of me. Oh no...! No one values me. A perfectly good girl is being compared to an animal. Why didn't the earth split open before I heard this... or why didn't some vampire pick you up?"

Hearing her words, Akanksha laughed and said, "Enough, drama queen! And yes... aren't you in pain anymore... arguing with me? Come on, let's go quickly... let's lock the house and go. We'll have to tell Daddu too. Otherwise, if he comes here and we're not at home, he'll create a ruckus in the whole of Shimla."

Akanksha quickly took Janhvi to the hospital. On the way, Janhvi told Rajveer ji everything over the phone.

After some time, they were in City Hospital. The doctor was putting stitches on Janhvi's wound, while Akanksha was waiting outside.

She was sitting on a bench in the waiting area outside when Inspector Dubey came towards them with a doctor.

Inspector Dubey asked the doctor, "Doctor, did anyone come to claim the body of the boy whose corpse was found outside those jungles 3 days ago?"

"No, Inspector... no one has come yet. And I don't think anyone will come either... we should have his last rites performed."

"Not much stuff was recovered from the boy either. That could help us find out about him. There were some eatables in his bag, along with two or three books and a slip... it seems the boy had those books issued from some library in Shimla. Now that the boy's name and address aren't clearly known, who's going to go around finding out about him everywhere. All those books have one thing in common, they were all about vampires. On top of that, his corpse was found outside those jungles where there's a rumour of vampires being present. It seems that boy had gone into the jungle to find vampires," Inspector Dubey said.

"Although science doesn't believe in all this superstition. But so many people dying in the same way can't be a coincidence, right... not a single drop of blood was found in these people's dead bodies. Besides, all the dead bodies have animal bite marks on the right side of their necks. The way of biting and the marks are the same every time," the doctor replied seriously.

"But what can we do either, Doctor Sahib! No one even has the courage to go into the jungle and conduct a thorough investigation. We just have to submit a report... we'll submit it."

Both of them were standing and talking a little away from Akanksha. Their words were easily reaching Akanksha's ears, and she listened to all their words carefully. As soon as their conversation ended, the doctor left from there. Dubey was standing there talking to someone on the phone. Seeing him standing there, Akanksha's steps moved towards the inspector, even though she didn't want to.

"Excuse me, sir... can I see those books?"

Inspector Dubey asked, "And who are you? Those books were found with the victim. So I can't give those books to you."

"I can help you reach the boy's family. I had gone to the library yesterday. The librarian there was asking about that boy then. They can help you reach the boy's family. The boy's phone number was also written there. A lot can be found out about him through that too."

Hearing Akanksha's words, Inspector Dubey said irritably, "Enough, enough, don't teach us our job. And how do you know that boy?" Dubey looked at her with suspicious eyes.

"I don't know him... but we can go to the library and inquire about him through those books... then maybe something can be found out."

"Look madam, it's our job to inquire... not yours. So stay away from all this. It's in your best interest. As for giving the books, they were found with the victim. So you can't get those books. Don't even think about it," Dubey scolded her.

"But I wanted to see those books. Please give me those books once. Please.....!"

"Those books can't be given to you, madam. Why are you wasting your time?"

Akanksha said, "I'll definitely take the books. I'll take them after you submit them to the library."

"Those books won't be submitted to the library now. What if those books were the reason that boy lost his life?"

Both of them were arguing with each other when Janhvi also reached there. Seeing Dubey, she touched his feet and said, "Oh, Dubey uncle, you're here?"

"Be happy, child. But what are you doing here... and this injury?"

Seeing them talking comfortably, Akanksha asked in surprise, "Janhvi, do you know him?"

"Yes... Akshu, he's my uncle. But why are you arguing with him?"

"Look, Janhvi... what a big coincidence. Remember I fainted yesterday after seeing that boy's corpse. He was the same boy who had taken books from the library. The books we were looking for are now with him, and he's refusing to give them to us," Akanksha said, making a face.

"Please, uncle, just give them to us for 1 day," now Janhvi also started insisting on the books from him.

Inspector Dubey, who was talking to Akanksha a little strictly till now, now spoke a little softly, "Look girls, it's a question of my job. What if someone finds out then....!"

"But uncle, why will anyone find out? Please give us those books. Please.... please.... please," Janhvi started insisting from him like a child.

Inspector Dubey replied in a soft voice, "Okay... but only for 1 day. You both will come to the police station at the same time tomorrow and submit those books to me."

Akanksha and Janhvi chimed together, "Yes, uncle, promise.....!"

Inspector Dubey went to the reception with both of them, where he was given all the boy's belongings. Inside a small bag, there were also those three books that the boy had issued from the library. Inspector Dubey secretly handed over those books to both of them, which they took and came home.

It was 12 o'clock at night. There was peace all around.

Suddenly, a very terrible sound started in the jungles. Which destroyed the peace present there in a single moment. Suddenly dust started flying all around. It felt as if a dust storm had come at midnight.

There was a different kind of vibration in the earth... as if someone was uprooting trees. That vibration was so strong that the land far away was shaking from it.

The atmosphere of the jungle was becoming very frightening. As if the history of 1850 was repeating itself today, which happened so many years ago from today. The same scene of death was looming again today. The only reason for this happening was that Reevansh was in the jungle in his true demonic form with his deceitful companions Ravi, Raghu, Vijay, Sanjay. And all four vampires had attacked Reevansh from behind together.

Throwing all four away in one go, Reevansh said, "Even if we were weak some years ago." He growled loudly and said, "Not today..! No one more powerful than us has ever existed in the history of vampires."

All four of them were looking at Reevansh with weak eyes. "You took advantage of our friendship and innocence, and because of you people, we are forced to live this cursed life today. Who knows how many innocent people we have unknowingly murdered. But now that we have become monsters, we will finish you four traitors first." Reevansh started moving towards them with big steps.

Seeing him coming closer, Raghu gathered courage and stood up, and uprooting a nearby tree, he attacked Reevansh.

"You weren't innocent even then, Yuvraj.... unknowingly, you also committed a very big sin. Because of which you are forced to live this life. Your God comes to protect the innocent, but the devil comes for the sinners. That's why your God didn't come that day, our devil came."

Reevansh grabbed that tree and threw it back at him.

"There is no punishment for a mistake made unknowingly. We didn't understand when we committed that sin."

Sanjay once again attacked from behind. Reevansh staggered a little from his attack.

"Now you understand, right? Why do you drink the blood of those innocent people now? Your planets were the most powerful. That's why we made you sit in that puja. You don't know, those whose planets are powerful can never be controlled by anyone. But then even the shadow of the devil became dominant over you. Because of your unknowingly committed sin, the devil took control of your soul."

Reevansh angrily picked him up and threw him far away from there, and growled loudly, "You people deceived us even then, and you're attacking from behind even today.... have you forgotten? We are the most powerful vampire among vampires. The rest of you have no status in front of us..... neither yesterday nor today."

All four of them were stunned. He had already picked up and thrown Raghu and Sanjay far away. Ravi and Vijay were still lying there fallen. As he was about to leave from there, both of them saw the opportunity and attacked him from two sides.

"There will be some weakness of yours someday. Because of which you will also have to face defeat one day. On that day, we will become the king of this jungle and vampires, not you," Ravi growled angrily.

Reevansh grabbed both of them by their necks with both his hands and said laughing, "Four –four kings? Even then, all four of you ignorant people will fight in the same way and become thirsty for each other's blood. But such a day will never come. Why do all four of you keep coming to fight us again and again... even though you know that all four of you will be defeated every time. Keep showing off a little bit of your power here because you have no status outside this jungle."

Vijay said falteringly, "Y....your status isn't either, outside this jungle... even if you are the most powerful vampire, but you are a vampire after all. And you also know that whether vampires are powerful or weak.... small or big.... all of them have the same weakness."

Reevansh angrily picked up both of them and threw them in different directions. A very terrible sound was produced in the jungle from that. There was such a terrible vibration in Shimla as if there had been an earthquake there.

Reevansh growled loudly in anger, "Why... why did it happen to us only.... we have been suffering for so many years. We are forced to live this cursed life even without wanting to. Is there no one who can free us from this vampire's life? We never thought we would have to pay such a big price for that unknowingly committed mistake. We suffocate from this life.... we want freedom.... just freedom."

While speaking, Reevansh's eyes welled up and with this, he came into his human form. The tears were flowing from his eyes from inside, where he wanted to get freedom from this vampire life.

It was 2 AM. Akanksha and Jahnvi had finished their project and were sitting with the books they had brought from Inspector Dubey. They both felt a sudden vibration in the ground.

Jahnvi grabbed Akanksha's hand and asked, "Akshu, did you feel the vibration too?"

"Yeah, man... there's a strange tremor in the earth."

Jahnvi let go of her hand and hid under the bed.

"Akshu, you come down too. Is there an earthquake coming? I'm really scared. Ever since I heard about these vampires, I've been afraid of small things... and why are you making me read these books in the middle of the night?"

"Stop the drama and quietly come and sit up here. You just read quietly... I'm sleepy too. I'm reading, aren't I?"

Sitting on the bed, Jahnvi said, "If you studied the syllabus books with such dedication at night, you would have topped."

"Leave this jeans top and read the book quietly."

"Akshu, have you ever wondered why these books are so thick? First, we completed that project, and then you got me stuck in these books. There's nothing but nonsense written in them."

Akanksha said, "Yeah, so we have to do it. One is yours, and one is mine. We'll both read the remaining book half-half. Anyway, this third book isn't too thick. Mine is about to be completed."

"Mine is also about to be completed. But there's nothing in these books..." Jahnvi said, flipping through the pages, "It's the same thing that Gupta Uncle told us. It would be better to ask him what's in this third book?"

"Give me that book... what's the name of it?" Akanksha read the title of the book, "The First Vampire."

"Maybe this book contains information about the person who was the first vampire in the world. It sounds quite interesting."

"Okay, then let's read it together." Akanksha started reading the book, "Although there is no accurate information about vampires, there are many ancient myths recorded in history that hint at their existence or non-existence. The most prevalent story among them is that the vampire was not a vampire from the beginning... rather, he was an ordinary human like you and me... whose name was Ambrogio. He was born in Italy and was an adventurous person. Because of this quality, he reached Greece by sea to try his luck."

Jahnvi interrupted, "Oh wow... I also want to go to Greece."

"Will you listen quietly... or you can read it yourself." Angrily, Akanksha handed the book to Jahnvi.

"Moving forward, he reached the city of Delphi in Greece. There was the house of Apollo, the god of the sun. During this time, Ambrogio entered Apollo's house and there he liked a maid named Selena... They fell in love and decided to get married." Jahnvi stopped reading the book and started laughing loudly in the middle, "Oh my God...! Love and all...!"

Akanksha got angry at her and snatched the book from her.

"Give me this book... otherwise, you'll keep giving your commentary and spoil all the interest."

"Yeah, man, now I'm also very interested. Here, you read well... I'll listen आराम से. Wait 2 minutes, I'll get popcorn."

Jahnvi quickly went and came back with chips and popcorn in her hand. Akanksha started reading the book while eating chips.

"When Ambrogio and Selena fell in love with each other, they both wanted to get married. But when Apollo found out that a human was trying to run away with his maid, he cursed Ambrogio that if he came into the sunlight, he would burn to ashes. Because of this, Ambrogio angrily went to Hades, the god of the underworld... because sunlight does not go into the underworld. But there, Hades imprisoned Ambrogio's soul. During this time, Apollo's sister, Artemis, came and helped him... she freed Ambrogio from there."

    Hearing this, Jahnvi's face fell.

"Poor thing... this is the punishment for loving...!"

Akanksha read further, "However, for some reason, Armaitis cursed Ambrogio and she could not save Ambrogio from the curse. Under this curse, if he is attacked with any object made of silver, he will die! However, later Artemis came to know about Ambrogio's story, so she felt pity for him. She gave him the boon that he would always be immortal, as well as giving him immense power and the art of hunting as a boon. Artemis told Ambrogio that by drinking Selena's blood, he could also make her immortal. Apart from this, if he drinks the blood of any other human, he will become a vampire like him. Believing Artemis, Ambrogio also turned Selena into a vampire.

Then these two went to the city of Florence in Italy, where they gave birth to the first descendants of vampires."

After reading this, Jahnvi and Akanksha looked at each other.

Akanksha– "If we go by this story, then a vampire can also kill a human, and he can also cut them and turn them into a vampire if he wants."

"Now I'm even more scared. Is the vampire in the forest Ambrogio? Why did he come to Shimla from Italy? I agree Shimla is a good place... but Italy is much more beautiful."

"Or it could be some other vampire. Overall, two things have been learned from this book... first, that no vampire can withstand the heat of the sun... as Apollo cursed him. And if we go by Armaitis's curse, then any vampire can be killed with a weapon made of silver." Akanksha concluded.

"But who will kill him? This is the same thing, isn't it... like the mice planned to tie a bell around the cat's neck, so that we would know that the cat is coming. But who will tie the bell around the cat's neck?"

Akanksha– "I don't know who will tie the bell around the cat's neck. But one thing is for sure, we also have to tie a bell around this cat's neck, and that too a silver one... come on, let's go to sleep now. Let's think in the morning what to do?"

"Thank God Akshu... you remembered that we also have to sleep... and what will we do? We are not going to do anything. Don't think that just because you have a little power, you will go to the forest. Look, I'm not going with you anywhere... not to the forest at all."

Teasing her, Akanksha said, "I'm not going without you at all. If I go, I'll take you with me."

Jahnvi put all the books on the bedside table and then both went to sleep.

It was 6 AM in the morning.

There was a dense shadow of trees in the forest... so much so that not even a single ray of the sun fell inside the forest. This was the reason why vampires had set up camp there. Even though not a single ray of the sun fell in the forest, the first ray of the sun had already knocked outside the forest.

A man was going to the last end of the forest. His fragrance reached Rivansh, who was standing in the middle of the forest. Rivansh stretched out his hand from there and pulled the man inside the forest.

The man screamed in fear, "Save me... someone save me. How did I... how did I come inside the forest?" The man was badly frightened, "People say that vampires live in this forest."

The man started running here and there desperately to get out of the forest. Suddenly Rivansh came and stood in front of him.

"No matter how much you shout. Your voice will not go out of these forests." He came near the man's neck and muttered in his ear, "Forgive us... we are very hungry. May God rest your soul in peace."

Rivansh kept drinking the man's blood until the last drop of his body was finished. The next moment the person died and fell down.

Wiping the blood from his mouth, Rivansh said, "What have we become in these past years. Where we used to be our mother's beloved Rivansh... and used to be afraid of seeing even a drop of blood. Today we have become thirsty for the same blood. Was what the four were saying true? We never thought that we would be punished for a mistake of our childhood." While speaking, Rivansh's attention went to his hand, which had turned red and many blisters had appeared on the back of his palm... as if someone had poured boiling water on it.

"Looks like the sun has come out. When we stretched out our hand to pull this man, our hand also got burnt. It's burning a lot and it's also hurting... but more than that, we have been suffering pain and burning for many years. A pain... that will last forever."

It was 11 AM in the morning. Akanksha was waiting for Jahnvi in the room, while she was sitting inside playing games on her mobile.

Akanksha called out to Jahnvi, "Hurry up, Jahnvi... let's go. I don't know what you're doing in the bathroom of the house for so long?"

"Look Akshu, I'm not going with you to any forest...! To hell with this vampire..!" Jahnvi shouted from inside.

"One thing is that her drama never ends." Akanksha came outside the bathroom and said, "We are not going to the forest, my mother... have you forgotten, we told Dubey Uncle that we have to return those books to him after 1 day at the same time. It's 11:00 o'clock. We will reach the police station... we will meet him... then 1 आराम से will ring. Now come out quietly."

"Okay, that's good... let's quickly give these vampire books to them. Ever since I saw them, my mind has been curdled." Jahnvi came out and said.

"Then make raita out of that curd and drink it. But hurry up... we are getting late."

Jahnvi and Akanksha quickly took those three books and reached the police station. There were expressions of disappointment on their faces because they had not found anything special in that book.

    ★★★★

They both reached the police station. As soon as they went, their eyes fell on Inspector Dubey sitting at the desk in front, who was talking to someone on the phone.

Seeing them, Inspector Dubey waved his hand towards them and said, "Yes, come here girls... Okay Sawant, I'll talk to you later. See if you can find that girl's belongings around...!"

Reaching near him, Jahnvi said, "Namaste Uncle..."

"We have also brought the books before the time you gave us. Thank you so much Uncle! You helped us."

"You both sit down... if something is left, then see it now. You are not going to get these books back. I'll be back in a while." Saying this, Dubey left from there for some time

At his behest, Akanksha quickly flipped through the pages of those books to see.

"What's left for you now?" Jahnvi made a face towards her and said.

"I'm looking at the book you read one more time. You get bored with books anyway... who knows, something might be left." While turning the pages, Akanksha's attention went to something. She said nervously, "Look at this... how can you miss such an important thing Jahnvi?"

"Sorry man... I don't know why my attention didn't go towards it... and it's good that it didn't go. Otherwise, I wouldn't have been able to sleep all night out of fear. By the way, what is written here?" Jahnvi tried to read the word written there.

"Your eyes haven't deteriorated, have they? Someone's name is written in blood. That boy must have written something after seeing the vampire. But it's not readable. Why is this name not clear." While trying to read it, Akanksha turned that page of the book completely here and there. While looking at it, her hand suddenly fell on that word and as soon as she touched it, Akanksha's eyes automatically closed and then she started seeing some vague scenes.

She could not see anything clearly in those scenes.

While looking at them, Akanksha muttered with her eyes closed, "Prince Rivansh...!"

Hearing Prince Rivansh's name from Akanksha's mouth, Janhavi looked at her in surprise. While Akanksha, after seeing those scenes with her eyes closed, started feeling dizzy. "Janhavi, I don't feel well." She said in a very low voice, holding her head, "I'm feeling dizzy. It feels... like darkness is spreading before my eyes. Janhavi..... Ja.... nhavi....!"

Seeing her sick, Janhavi got very nervous, "What happened to you, Akshu? I told you before not to run after all this nonsense. These things are beyond our reach." Janhavi handed her water, "You drink this water first, then we'll go home from here and leave all these troubles."

Akanksha drank the water. Akanksha often forgot the visuals she saw with her eyes closed, and she didn't remember anything about what had happened to her a little while ago.

"Did I say something, Janhavi, did you hear?" Akanksha asked, holding her head, "I don't remember anything. I'll touch these letters again and see."

As soon as Akanksha raised her hand to touch the letters of that book, Janhavi immediately closed the book and said, "Now you won't even touch this book. Let's go from here.... we don't have to find out anything..... neither about any vampire nor about any Prince Rivansh...!" In a rush, the name Prince Rivansh came out of her mouth.

"Yes, Prince Rivansh..... that was the name.... maybe he is in the forest. Wasn't that the name I spoke."

"Oh God! This girl will kill herself and get me killed too." Janhavi grabbed her hand and started taking her away from there, "I don't want to find out anything. You will go home..... if you don't listen to me.... then I will tell Daddu everything truthfully."

"I will go home, but don't blackmail me by taking Daddu's name. You know my habit that once I am after something......."

Janhavi interrupted her and said, "Yes, yes my mother..... I know everything that once Akanksha madam gets after something, she doesn't rest until she gets to the bottom of it."

"Exactly. Come on, let's go home now and make a plan for the future..... and beware if you tell Daddu anything. Otherwise, I will also tell him how you fool him by making me leave my phone at home and take me everywhere." Akanksha showed fake anger.

While leaving, Janhavi said to a constable, "Sir, we are leaving. These are some books, please give them to Dubey uncle."

"Okay..... you keep these books here. Dubey Sir will be here soon. When he comes, I will tell him." The constable replied.

Akanksha and Janhavi came straight home from there. At home, they saw that Rajveer Ji was pacing back and forth outside the door, waiting for them. There were signs of worry on his face.

As soon as he saw them, Rajveer Ji expressed his displeasure and said, "Have you both come? I see that nowadays you both are less interested in studies and more in gossiping around. Janhavi, when are your mom and dad coming back? Look, I can't leave Akshu with you here anymore. If you are afraid to be alone, then you come to our house to stay."

"Daddu, they will take another week to come and I will not come to your house to stay. Your house is near the forest and in the forest pi...!" Janhavi stopped while speaking.

"Even if our house is near the forest, Janhavi, wild animals don't come to our house to party. You know what, you lock your house and come to our house with your things to stay for a week." Akanksha handled the situation.

"Yes Janhavi, Akshu is absolutely right." Rajveer Ji agreed with Akanksha.

"Okay Daddu, I will ask Mom and tell you what to do." Saying this, Janhavi goes inside the room to call her mom, while Rajveer Ji and Akanksha were still sitting in the hall.

Rajveer was looking at something on his mobile, while Akanksha's thoughts were still revolving around the things related to vampires.

"Who could this Prince Rivansh be? Unwillingly, my attention is repeatedly going there. How do I find out about him? Can I find something on the internet?"

"Akshu...." Akanksha didn't pay attention when Rajveer Ji called her once, so he spoke a little louder, "Akshu.....!"

"Yes Daddu..! " Akanksha's attention broke with his voice and she replied hastily.

"In whose thoughts are you lost? Is your health fine these days.... or do you still have those strange dreams?"

Hearing Rajveer Ji's words, Akanksha thought, "Daddu, those are not my dreams, but a reality from which I cannot escape even if I want to."

Before Akanksha could answer Rajveer Ji, Janhavi came there and said, "Daddu... Akshu, Mom has given me permission to stay with you guys. But she said that once a day I should come home and check if everything is okay here."

"Then quickly bring your stuff. Let's go." As soon as Rajveer said this, Janhavi quickly replied, "My stuff is ready Daddu.... Let's go."

"You both lock the house and come, till then I will take the car out."

Akanksha – "Daddu, you go ahead.... we both will come on the scooty. You just take Janhavi's luggage with you."

"Okay.... but you will reach home within 10 minutes. You know, our house is only 15-20 minutes away from here. So don't stop anywhere unnecessarily." Rajveer said sternly.

"Yes Daddu, we will come straight home. Janhavi, you bring Daddu your bag."

As soon as Akanksha said this, Janhavi brought her luggage to Rajveer Ji, which he took and left immediately.

As soon as he left, Janhavi asked, "Akshu, why did you send Daddu home first? Something must be cooking in your mind. Look, I am telling you beforehand, I am not going to go to any jungle."

"Not the jungle, to Mohan Das Ji.... I want to find out about Prince Rivansh. Maybe he knows something about it.... he has read a lot of books, so he must have read about this prince somewhere."

Janhavi – "And what will you tell Daddu? He just said that we should reach home within 10 minutes."

"I will tell Daddu that we are going to the library. Look, before we get late like that day.... let's go to the library first." Akanksha said.

"Okay. But this time you will call Daddu. I don't want to argue with him."

Akanksha called Rajveer Ji and took his permission to go to the library. Rajveer Ji never stopped her from going anywhere in matters of studies.

Akanksha and Janhavi reached the library to meet Mohan Das Gupta Ji without delay.

It was 4 in the evening. The sky was sparkling with the sunlight.

Even though there was sunlight all around outside the forest... but inside the forest, there was still the same dense darkness. It was as if it was 12:00 at night. It was difficult to say whether that darkness was due to the sunlight not reaching there.... or because of the dark forces living there. Many different types of dark forces resided in that forest.

Apart from Rivansh, Raghu, Ravi, Vijay and Sanjay, there were also many other vampires residing in the forest. Those four had gathered all the vampires there.

Vijay roared and addressed everyone, "How long will you people remain slaves to that Rivansh? If we all unite, it won't take even a minute to defeat him."

"Why don't you all understand..... there are many of us and he is alone. He can't do anything in front of all of us. Even if he is powerful, it will be easy to defeat him when he is alone." Sanjay spoke, continuing Vijay's point. Those four were provoking the vampires of the forest against Rivansh.

Raghu – "He is very proud of himself that he belongs to a royal family and considers himself the king of all of us. Hey, there is no royal family left now. Times have changed."

"And we are not humans who follow the tradition of the royal family. We are vampires....... we are all slaves of only one, and that is Satan. Then why are you all afraid of that Rivansh? If we all unite, it will be very easy to defeat him. I don't know why you people don't understand this thing...!" Ravi finished the sentence.

Those four vampires together started plotting against Rivansh, so that they could weaken Rivansh and finish him off. For this, those four started provoking the other vampires.

The four vampires together started plotting against Rivansh, to weaken him and finish him off. For this, the four of them started inciting the other vampires.

Leading the vampires, the oldest vampire Jeevan said from the crowd, "Look son, when Rivansh has not harmed us, why should we unnecessarily provoke his enmity? All the vampires of the forest know that there has always been cunningness in the minds of you four. Are you jealous of him? Don't even think of fulfilling your evil intentions through us. Hey..!" Jeevan stroked his white beard.

Agreeing with him, another vampire said, "Look Dada, even if he is alone... he is stronger than all of us. Last night also, the four of you attacked him together, didn't you? What was the result? You were defeated again. You yourselves keep getting injured by him every now and then. Now what do you want, that all of us also get injured and lie in some corner of the forest? This will not work..!"

Hearing them, Ravi growled angrily, "Hey, last night there were only four of us... and if we all get together, we will definitely defeat that Rivansh."

Jeevan again led on behalf of everyone, "But son, why do we even need to defeat him? This forest is home to all of us. If you people don't stop your antics, then all of us together will throw you four out of this forest. Then you know what will happen to you?"

All the vampires were agreeing with Jeevan, and hearing their words, Ravi, Raghu, Sanjay, and Vijay started getting angry.

Sanjay said angrily, growling, "Then keep being his slaves for life, and remain minor vampires for eternity."

Sanjay was still speaking when Rivansh arrived there. He had heard all their talk. Angrily, he assumed his huge form and grabbed Sanjay by the throat, holding him in his hand like a toy.

"How much lower will you four stoop... Deceit, fraud, greed, jealousy, all are filled in you four... When you were human, even then you were no less than a vampire." Rivansh's anger had turned into blood in his eyes.

Sanjay said in a choked voice, "Le...leave...me...!"

Seeing Sanjay in trouble, Ravi, Raghu, and Vijay attacked Rivansh together. Even though they could not completely finish each other off, the wounds inflicted by a vampire were quite deep. Their pain was quite unbearable.

Seeing Rivansh in trouble, Jeevan ordered the other vampires, "Attack...!" And with this, all the vampires in the group fell upon the three of them.

"This is your final warning, you four... If you ever do this again, the consequences will be very bad." Jeevan growled loudly.

Throwing Sanjay away, Rivansh said, "There is no point in messing with us." He laughed at their foolishness and said, "How foolish you four are, even after being defeated again and again, you come to clash with us."

Jeevan – "Prince, your hand is injured. If it is not treated immediately, the wound may become septic. Don't you worry... we are enough for these deceivers. You go and apply an herbal paste on it first."

Hearing Jeevan's words, Rivansh disappeared from there like the wind the very next moment. As soon as he left, the remaining vampires of the forest imprisoned the four in a large magical cage.

In this cage, often only those vampires were imprisoned who resorted to rebellion. There were magical bars around it, touching which any vampire could be completely injured.

After some time, Akanksha and Janhvi reached the library. As soon as they went, the two first went to the room where Mohandas used to sit.

Mohandas ji recognized the two as soon as he saw them.

"You two have come again... and this is the only time you get to come? Won't you be scared while going back?"

Akanksha asked directly without beating around the bush, "No uncle... we wanted to talk to you about something very important."

"Uncle, do you know that the boy who took those three vampire books from here has been murdered?" Janhvi said agitatedly.

Mohandas ji – "Yes, I know. The police came for questioning this morning itself. Those three books are still with the police... and they had also said that they would return the books to the library after the matter is settled. But why do you two look so worried?"

"Uncle, you don't know the whole thing. We asked Inspector Dubey to read those books. In one of those books, the name of a prince Rivansh was written in blood." Akanksha replied.

Janhvi – "Do you know who Prince Rivansh was? Where was he a prince of?"

"There must be so many Prince Rivanshs in this world... but yes, here in the library there are also some books about Raja Jai Pratap Singh of Bilaspur princely state... His son's name was also Rivansh Pratap Singh. Some things about Prince Rivansh are also spread in the villages around Bilaspur. Now only God knows how much truth there is in those things." Mohandas ji replied to them.

"What things?" Akanksha asked in surprise.

Mohandas ji replied with a laugh, "You two are interrogating exactly like the police. I don't know much but I will give you some books. You will find out through them. I had read those books a long time ago. So I don't remember everything."

"Oh no.. books again.. Please no, otherwise she will make me sit and read those books all night again." Janhvi said, making a face.

Akanksha replied with a smile, "Yes, then it is good... you will gain some knowledge."

"I said yesterday also and I am saying it today also that if I had read the books of my syllabus this much, I would have got a good job today." Janhvi said irritably.

    Akanksha started laughing at her.

"Nothing is lost yet. You can still study and get a good job."

"Okay girls, stop arguing. Let's go to the library upstairs. We will find some books there." Mohandas ji said, getting up.

He went with the two of them to the book section of the library upstairs. He picked up a book from there and read its title, "Bilaspur and Some Legends!" Mohandas ji handed that book to Akanksha and said, "This book is about some legends prevalent in Bilaspur, which a person had written on the basis of his research. Do read it. Maybe you will find some important information in it."

Akanksha said happily, "Thank you so much uncle.! You have helped us a lot."

Mohandas ji replied, "That's fine kids. But don't get into any trouble. It is possible that some things written in these books are true... and going after some truths or finding out about them proves to be very dangerous."

Hearing his words, Janhvi replied, "Exactly uncle, for the last 2 days I have been explaining to her that some things are beyond our reach."

Mohan Das ji took out another book from the book rank and said, "And this book is about the royal family of Maharaja Jai Pratap Singh ji. Keep it too... but remember my words."

"Yes sure uncle... Okay now we will leave. We will return these books to you after two days" Akanksha said.

"Okay, but write your name, address and phone number in the register while leaving."

Akanksha nodded her head in yes. She and Janhvi reached home with those books from Mohandas ji.

As soon as she came home, Akanksha was looking at the picture made on the last page of that book that as soon as she touched it, she started seeing some scenes again.

When Akanksha touched the books she had brought from the library, she started seeing some visions again. She jerked the book away from herself.

"I have to stay away from these books in front of Dadu. If I accidentally say something while seeing these visuals, he might find out that I can see someone's past." Akanksha thought, looking at Rajveer Ji, who was busy watching TV at that time.

She kept both the books in her room with the rest of her books.

At night, after dinner, she was sitting with Akanksha in her room, reading those books.

Looking at those books, Jahnvi said, "I don't know in what hour I made you my friend and what birth's revenge you are taking from me by making me read these boring books."

"Oh God! This girl's theatrics never end. Can't you just shut up and read?" Akanksha said, glaring at her.

Jahnvi opened the book and started reading loudly, "What to read in this... there was a kingdom... where sometimes someone, sometimes someone else ruled. Sometimes there was Vikram Pratap Singh, sometimes there was Jai Pratap Singh... It was a monarchy, so the king's son would become the new king. Nothing is written besides all this... I don't know who would have written this boring book. Didn't they fall asleep while writing it?" Jahnvi closed the book and kept it aside.

"Let's leave this one... let's read this one." Akanksha read the title of the book, "Bilaspur and Some Legends."

"You read... I'm listening." Jahnvi said with a yawn.

"I know you'll fall asleep. That's why you read and I'm listening." Saying this, Akanksha forcibly placed the book in Jahnvi's hand. Now Jahnvi had no choice but to read that book.

"Okay, let's leave the whole book.... let's just read the legend related to Prince Rivansh."

Akanksha took off her glasses and kept them aside and said, "Yes, read... you can make as many excuses as you want, I'm going to make you read this book."

Jahnvi started reading the book, "Actually, many legends were spread in Bilaspur.... but the most prevalent one was the incident related to the year 1850. In the year 1850, black magic was very prevalent in Bilaspur. Everyone was learning and using black magic in the greed of power and authority. Among them were four young friends.... who used tantric practices in the crematorium of Bilaspur. All four of them also wanted to become powerful. But none of the four had planets so powerful that they could perform a big pooja. Those four chose Prince Rivansh, the next heir to the throne, to carry out their evil deeds. Everyone in Bilaspur knew about Prince Rivansh, that he was born in a special auspicious time. According to which every work done by him would prove successful. But for some reason, Prince Rivansh was sent to study abroad."

Akanksha interrupted her, "Means, even at that time people used to go abroad to study?"

Jahnvi replied, "Yes, because by then British rule had been established in India. So maybe the English language also came to India. Anyway, haven't you heard that most of the kings were slaves of the British?"

Akanksha put her glasses back on and said, "Give me this book, I'll read further...!" Akanksha started reading further, "Prince Rivansh was returning from abroad after completing his studies. That day was the night of the full moon.... even though the moon was full in the sky at night,,,,, but that night the moon was about to be eclipsed. Dark powers were at their peak. Those four chose that time to carry out their dark deeds. While returning to the palace, there was a dense forest on the way. In which those five spent that night. It is said that Satan himself awakened that night and those five received amazing powers. Some people believe that Prince Rivansh became a victim of his friends' illusion and trickery. While some people say that Prince Rivansh himself performed that pooja to gain powers. After that night, that forest became cursed. The shadow of Satan engulfed the entire forest. Darkness spread all around. After that night, even the sunlight could not touch that forest." Akanksha started thinking about Prince Rivansh after reading the things related to him.

Just then, Jahnvi said with wide eyes in surprise, "Was that prince really fooled by his friends or did he want powers for himself?"

Akanksha replied with a laugh, "You are asking me as if I was also present in that forest with those five that night. Let me read further...!" She read it again, "After that horrible night, deaths started happening one after the other in Bilaspur. Whoever went to that forest.... never came back. It is said that after that night, that forest is also home to demons."

"Akshu, what is the exact location of that forest?" Jahnvi said, looking at a small map made in the book.

Akanksha– "If we go according to this map, then that forest is the same forest near our Shimla. It's about 1 hour away from here... one corner of it also touches the city's population."

"Thank God..! This forest is 1 hour away from here. I will never go to that side." Jahnvi folded her hands.

"Why don't we go there and find out the truth." As soon as Akanksha said this, Jahnvi explained to her, "Look sister, this truth-truth game is fine only in books. Haven't you seen how people's dead bodies are being found near that forest, I will neither go nor let you go. It's 12:00 at night. Now sleep quietly."

Akanksha replied, making a face, "Okay fine, I'll sleep.... and anyway, the books also have to be returned. We'll return them tomorrow itself. And from tomorrow, we'll have to go to college regularly too."

"Yes, we'll go to college too.... we'll go to the library too.... then we'll go to the cafe too.... and even go to the park for evening walks. We'll go everywhere.... but never to that forest."

Akanksha said, taking off her glasses, "Okay fine my mother.... now go and turn off the lights."

Jahnvi– "I can't get up.... just close your eyes. It will become dark automatically."

"I don't know what will happen to this girl.... I have to do all the work." Akanksha got up, turned off the lights of the room and went and slept on the bed next to Jahnvi.

It was 12:30 at night. Both Jahnvi and Akanksha were fast asleep. Akanksha started having the same strange horrifying dreams again, seeing which she was mumbling in her sleep, "Where have I come... Jahnvi where are you? You sent me here alone.... is anyone here? Where have I come? I can't understand anything... where do I go... why is it so dark? Let me see if I can see something by going further....!"

Akanksha felt that she was dreaming, but she did not realize when she reached the forest in her sleep. In one part of the forest, those four demons (Ravi, Raghu, Sanjay and Vijay) were imprisoned in a magical cage. While in the darkness of the night, the other demons were roaming here and there in the forest in search of their prey.

Akanksha felt like she was dreaming, but she didn't realize when she fell asleep and ended up in the forest. In one part of the forest, the four vampires (Ravi, Raghu, Sanjay, and Vijay) were trapped in a magical cage, while in the darkness of the night, the other vampires were wandering around the forest in search of their prey.

In the forest that had been shrouded in darkness for so many years, as soon as Akanksha stepped in, a circle of light formed around her due to her powers. Even though Akanksha was unaware of her powers, those wonderful powers of nature always protected her.

It was beyond the ability of any ordinary person to see or feel the circle of Akanksha's powers. Despite the presence of so many vampires in the forest, no one noticed that light. Often, vampires could smell a human's scent and reach them in a matter of moments, but Akanksha was wandering around in the forest, yet no one caught her scent.

Reevansh was sitting near a lake in the forest. While sitting there, his gaze fell upon the lake. For the first time in so many years, the water of the lake was completely clean and pure. He was looking at it in amazement when his gaze went towards a light coming from a corner of the forest.

"Where is this light suddenly coming from in the darkness of this forest? Where even a ray of light never reaches because of the powers of the devil, where is this amazing light coming from today?" Reevansh, searching for the light, was standing in front of Akanksha the next moment. Seeing the protective circle of light around her, he understood that she was no ordinary human.

"What are you doing in this demonic world?" Reevansh thought as he moved closer to her.

Before Akanksha could understand anything, she felt dizzy and fell into Reevansh's arms.

It was seven in the morning. Hearing the alarm, Jahnvi mumbled in her sleep, "Akshu..! Turn off the alarm, please..!"

When there was no response for a long time, Jahnvi got up and turned off the alarm. Jahnvi's attention went to the bed, where Akanksha was not present, and the door of their room was also open.

"How did this Akshu wake up so early today? We went to bed so late last night." She got out of bed and came out shouting, "Akshu... Akshu... where are you, yaar? You woke up so early in the morning and didn't even wake me up."

No one answered Jahnvi's words. She looked outside and there was no one there.

"There is no one here. Maybe Akshu went for a morning walk with Daddoo. I think I should get ready. By the time they come, I will make breakfast and get it ready too. If breakfast is ready, Akshu won't take much time to get ready either. We have to reach college too. This girl, sometimes she goes too far."

Jahnvi quickly got ready and started making breakfast. Around 8:30, Rajveer Ji came back from his morning walk as usual.

Rajveer Ji saw Jahnvi near the dining table, went there and said, "Good morning Jahnvi beta... you guys woke up early today and made breakfast too."

Jahnvi made a face and replied, "Where are you guys, Daddoo? I have been working alone for so long. Firstly, this Akshu didn't even wake me up, and why did you both go for a morning walk alone? You should have taken me along too... I know I have no interest in walking. But I could have clicked some photos there in the morning."

"What are you saying, Jahnvi? Akshu didn't go with me. You both were together last night. And you both didn't sleep with the door locked. A thief could have entered the house... or any wild animal could have come. How careless you kids have become these days." Rajveer Ji said expressing his displeasure.

Hearing his words, Jahnvi got scared.

"Are you joking early in the morning? Akshu is not anywhere in the house. I thought she had gone for a morning walk with you."

"What are you saying? Akshu is not at home? She didn't go for a morning walk with me. Even this morning when I woke up, the main gate was open." Rajveer Ji became very worried.

Rajveer Ji and Jahnvi searched the entire house for Akanksha. But she was nowhere to be found. Rajveer Ji became worried about Akanksha's disappearance. He had already lost his son and daughter-in-law. Now Akanksha was his only support.

Rajveer Ji said crying, "I don't know where my child has gone?"

"Hey Daddoo, don't worry. Maybe she has gone to the neighborhood... I will call her and see. You drink this water until then." Jahnvi handed him a glass of water and consoled him.

Jahnvi called Akanksha, but her mobile was ringing at home.

"Let's go and look around. She hasn't gone anywhere, she must be somewhere nearby." Jahnvi was trying her best to handle Rajveer Ji.

Jahnvi and Rajveer Ji started searching for Akanksha in all the nearby areas where she could go. But they couldn't find her anywhere.

Rajveer Ji said to Jahnvi, "We should go to the police station. I cannot take any kind of risk with my child."

"Yes, Daddoo..!" Saying this, Jahnvi sat in the car with Rajveer Ji. She had not told Rajveer Ji anything about the books yet, but she had thoughts related to it in her mind, "Has Akshu gone to the forest to find out the truth about that Reevansh? O God! Let everything be alright. If Daddoo finds out about all this, he will also get angry. I will not tell him anything about it for now. When Akshu comes, we will both talk to him together."

It was 9 in the morning. It was still pitch dark in the forest.

Akanksha was still lying unconscious in Reevansh's lap, and Reevansh was just staring at her.

Stroking Akshu's hair, Reevansh said, "Come to your senses." His magic had no effect on her. He said in surprise, "Why isn't our magic working on her?"

Reevansh was talking to himself when his gaze went towards Akanksha, who was slowly opening her eyes.

Akshu stretched and said, "Jahnvi, you girl... go get me some tea..!" Akanksha tried to sit up holding her head, "Why is my head hurting so much?"

Reevansh looked at her and said with a smile, "You have regained consciousness.!"

Hearing his voice, Akanksha's gaze went to Reevansh, and she saw that she was lying in his lap.

Akanksha quickly got up from Reevansh's lap and said, "Who are you? How did I get here? And why is it so dark here? Oh God, where are my glasses... I can't even see anything clearly."

Reevansh replied, "What are you doing here in the forest? This area is not safe."

Akanksha looked around in panic. It was dark all around, but the smell of dust and trees nearby indicated that she was not at her home in the urban area.

"What... forest... what am I doing here in the forest? Where is Jahnvi? You didn't kidnap me, did you?"

"There is no one here except you and me." Reevansh said.

"Who are you... and what are you doing here? First tell me one thing, why is it so dark here? Is it not morning yet?" Akanksha asked looking around.

    "We are Reevansh." He replied.

Hearing his name, Akanksha widened her eyes and said, "What... are you Prince Reevansh? The one from Bilaspur... who was coming back after studying abroad."

Hearing all his information from Akanksha's mouth, he was stunned. Hearing her words, Reevansh fell into thought, "How does she know about us? How does she know that we were the prince of Bilaspur and went to study abroad."

"Hey, say something? Where are you lost? Oh God! I don't know where I have gotten stuck?"

Reevansh composed himself and said, "What are you saying... we don't understand anything. We are also trapped in this forest just like you."

"Thank God..! I found someone to be with, who is trapped in this forest like me. Let's both find a way together. I know it's dark now... but when it dawns, the sunlight will spread all around and it will be easier to find the way." Seeing him, Akanksha gained a little courage.

"I don't know why we lied to you... but how do we tell you that there will never be dawn in this forest. But how did you come into this forest? This place is not right for you. For the first time, even with the prey in front of us, we don't feel like killing it. We will try our best to send you out of here safely. How innocent you are... just like a small child..!" Reevansh was thinking looking at Akanksha, who was trying to find a way even in the dark.

It was 10 in the morning, yet the forest was enveloped in thick darkness as if it were midnight. Despite the darkness, Akanksha was slowly trying to find her way. Reevansh, knowing the truth, walked alongside her, knowing she would never reach the edge of the forest.

"If you search for the path like this, you won't reach outside the forest in this life or the next. I hope your divine powers don't become a danger to you. We must not let you out of our sight for even a moment," Reevansh thought as he walked.

They both moved forward in silence. After walking for a long time, Akanksha broke the silence and asked, "Do you have a watch? What time must it be?"

"No... I don't have anything," Reevansh replied in a soft voice.

"I don't know how I ended up here while sleepwalking. I don't even have a sleepwalking problem. My essential things are left at home. If Jahnvi were here, she would definitely say, 'Did you come to the forest for a picnic, that you'd bring all your stuff?'" Akanksha was talking to herself as she walked.

Reevansh listened to Akanksha's words without saying anything. Although Akanksha couldn't see anything, Reevansh, being a vampire, could see everything clearly even in the dark. The circle of light around Akanksha was not visible to her, only to Reevansh.

"It's so dark here... and on top of that, I forgot my glasses at home. Oh well, if I forgot my glasses... at least I should have brought my mobile. And why are you walking silently for so long... won't you say anything? How did you get stuck here?" Akanksha asked.

Reevansh replied hesitantly, "You have been talking since when... you didn't even give me a chance to speak, so how could I speak?"

"I am not giving you a chance to speak? Thank God Jahnvi isn't here, or you'd know what it means not to give a chance to speak. Anyway, tell me, how long have you been in this forest?"

Reevansh didn't want to reveal anything about himself, so he tried to change the subject. "You've been asking us questions since when. Will you tell us something about yourself, what are you doing in this forest, that too alone?"

"I... I... I was just telling Jahnvi... those books were cursed. I don't know what time we read those books. We slept after reading about that Prince Reevansh at night, and when I opened my eyes, I found myself in this forest. I don't know how I got here."

Hearing his name from Akanksha's mouth, Reevansh was shocked. "And how do you know about Prince Reevansh?"

Hearing Reevansh's words, Akanksha thought, "I don't know who this is. I can't tell him about my powers at all. What if he tries to misuse my powers? I need to divert the conversation somehow."

Instead of answering his questions, Akanksha continued to walk in silence. While Reevansh's anxiety was increasing after hearing his name from her mouth. "You didn't tell me how you know about Reevansh?"

"You're asking as if he's some relative of mine... or are you some relative of his? I'm just a student. I love reading books. Yesterday when I went to the library, I saw some books related to history, so I brought them home. I just read Prince Reevansh's name there. But why are you so interested in it?"

"Because my name is also Reevansh, often we feel connected to people with the same name even if we don't want to. You didn't tell me what you read about Prince Reevansh?"

"That's true, you said it right. Well, I didn't find much to read about him. But some legends related to Bilaspur were written, so he was mentioned in that."

"And what else was written in that book?" Reevansh was very eager to know about himself. After receiving the cursed life of a vampire, he didn't know what had happened in Bilaspur. After so many years, he was hearing his name from someone's mouth for the first time.

"I will tell you, but won't you get scared?" Akanksha said hesitantly. While speaking, her face looked as innocent as a child, seeing which a smile appeared on Reevansh's face. "Okay, I'll try not to get scared. Besides, you're with me anyway... tell me."

"Yes, so listen... have you heard the name Bilaspur? Are you from Himachal itself?"

"Yes, I have heard of it. I am also from Himachal."

Akanksha – "Reevansh was the prince of Bilaspur. You know, even in those times, he went to study abroad... how cool, right?"

"Yes...! Is studying abroad or adopting their culture cool?" Reevansh asked seriously.

"No.... but you also think... we are so modern. We are in this time, but still Daddoo gives me a hundred instructions before I leave the house alone, and Prince Reevansh, despite being from such an old era, went abroad to study."

Reevansh – "So you are not allowed to leave the house alone. Did you run away from home and come to this forest?"

Hearing his words, Akanksha stopped walking. She turned towards Reevansh and said angrily, "Are you crazy or something? I just told you that I came here by mistake while sleepwalking... yes, so leave me alone... let's talk about Reevansh."

"Yes...!" Reevansh thought, looking at her, "Today, I feel like listening to someone's words for the first time. How lovely she is...! Just like the princess of our dreams...! Our princess."

"You know what was written in that book?" Akanksha stopped walking and started talking while standing there, "When Prince Reevansh was returning to his kingdom after completing his studies, on that same night, he and his friends performed a demonic tantric ritual. It is said that on that night, the devil himself awakened and granted them immense powers. But everyone is still not in agreement on whether Prince Reevansh himself performed that demonic ritual or his friends deceived him. It is possible that they made him a pawn to fulfill their evil desires. We can't say anything."

Reevansh was saddened by her words. "And what do you think? Did the prince really awaken a devil for powers?"

"I don't know, man... but why would a person who is educated abroad believe in all these superstitions. Someone who already has such a big kingdom, who was its only heir. Why would he awaken a devil and gain powers? Besides, what about these books, they often contain half-baked nonsense." Akanksha gave her opinion.

Her words pierced Reevansh to the core. He did not reply to Akanksha's words and walked silently. Reevansh had a lot of thoughts running through his mind. "So this is the history people have created about us. What was our mistake that night, for which we are still suffering the consequences today. When you find out the truth, you too will start hating us."

"Why do you keep getting lost in thoughts? I don't know when it will be morning and when we will be able to find the way," Akanksha tried to start a conversation again, "What do you think, when will it be morning?"

Hearing her question, Reevansh thought, "How do I tell you now... it never dawns in this forest. There is neither the sun... nor any ray of hope visible here. There is nothing in this forest except darkness... or a prison that lasts for eternity. I am afraid that you too might get trapped in this cycle."

Feelings of worry and fear for Akanksha arose simultaneously in Reevansh's mind.

Rajveer Ji went with Jahnvi to all the places where Akanksha could have gone. But they were met with disappointment everywhere. From morning till noon, there was no sign of Akanksha. Finally, Rajveer Ji had to come to the police station.

When they reached the police station, Inspector Dubey was present there.

As soon as he saw Jahnvi, Inspector Dubey went to her and said, "Oh Jahnvi... you're here again. Just because your sister and brother-in-law aren't here doesn't mean you can keep coming to the police station every other day... and your friend isn't with you today?"

Hearing him, Rajveer Ji asked in surprise, "Do you know Jahnvi... and which friend are you talking about?"

"Oh, the one who stays with Jahnvi... the one who wears glasses. The fair girl with brown hair... who knows what mischief goes on in their minds all day. These kids these days...!" As Inspector Dubey said this, Rajveer Ji glared angrily at Jahnvi.

"Jahnvi, what am I hearing... you and Akshu have been here before too. But beta, what for at the police station?"

Inspector Dubey - "Don't even ask, sir. A boy was murdered here three-four days ago. His body was found at the edge of the forest and some books were found near his body. Both the girls forcibly took those books from me to read. I don't know why kids these days keep studying about ghosts and spirits?"

"Looks like Dubey Uncle will reveal everything today. That Akshu girl, who knows where she went, leaving me alone here," Jahnvi muttered.

"Inspector Sahib, the girl who comes with Jahnvi is my granddaughter, Akanksha Thakur...! Who knows where she's been since morning. Can't find her at all. We came to file a complaint about her," Rajveer Ji said emotionally.

"Don't mind, sir, but these kids these days don't listen to us elders. They read books about ghosts and spirits, watch videos, and then go out looking for them. Look, we can't write your report before 24 hours, but still, since I know Jahnvi, I'll send a constable with you. He'll take her photo and ask around." The inspector said.

"Yes sir, thank you very much. But that won't be necessary now. If I need your help, I'll ask Jahnvi to call you," Rajveer Ji said and came out with Jahnvi. He was looking angrily at Jahnvi.

"Daddoo, please don't give me those looks... I'm getting scared," Jahnvi said, making a face.

"Jahnvi, will you tell me the truth about what's been going on these last two-three days? Sometimes you two have to go to the library in the middle of the night, and sometimes you both go to the police station."

"Daddoo, you won't believe it... but our Akshu has some magical powers," Jahnvi said in a low voice, looking around.

Rajveer Ji was shocked to hear Jahnvi talk about magical powers. He didn't think it was necessary to prolong the conversation.

"What are you saying, Jahnvi? We're not at home. Your actions are crazy enough, and now you're talking crazy too."

"Okay Daddoo... let's talk when we get home. Now that you've called me crazy, this crazy person will tell you the whole truth today. But promise me that when Akshu hits me, you'll save me from her?" Jahnvi didn't like Rajveer Ji calling her crazy.

"Let's talk when we get home," Rajveer Ji said and walked towards the car.

After a while, Rajveer Ji and Jahnvi reached home. He was a little angry with Jahnvi.

"Now you'll tell me everything truthfully? I don't want to hear any lies, Jahnvi."

"Can I get a glass of water?" Jahnvi asked, making an innocent face.

"No... what if I go to get water and you think of a new excuse... first tell me everything truthfully, I'll not just give you water but make you a juice."

"Okay..!" Jahnvi started speaking quickly in one breath, "Remember a couple of days ago when Akshu was coming to my house? Dubey Uncle said that the boy's body was lying on the road. Whenever Akshu touches someone, she starts seeing their past. So Akshu accidentally touched that boy too, so she found out that a pishach had killed him."

"You're talking as if that pishach is your relative? How can you say with such certainty that a pishach killed that boy?" Rajveer interrupted her.

"I knew you wouldn't believe us. But Dadoo, we both read some books and did a little research. It's possible that the pishach living in that forest is Ambrogio or Prince Rivansh..... but whatever you say, Daddoo, Akshu does have magical powers. Whether you believe me or...."

Rajveer Ji interrupted her again and said, "I know everything, Jahnvi, that Akshu has some powers. Not from today but from childhood, but I didn't know that her powers are awakened."

Jahnvi was surprised to hear the truth from Rajveer's mouth.

She widened her eyes and said, "Then why didn't you tell me this before? That's very wrong of you Daddoo... Akshu is only my 2-month-old friend. Still, she doesn't hide anything from me. You've known Akshu since childhood.... and you hid such a big thing from her."

"I did everything for Akshu's good. I didn't want her to get into any trouble because of these powers. Jahnvi, we'll have to meet Rajpurohit Ji again for this," Rajveer Ji's face showed concern.

"Now who is this Rajpurohit Ji? Is he a new entry?"

Rajveer Ji - "He lives in the Mata Rani temple in Kangra. Rajpurohit Ji was the first to find out about Akanksha's powers. Maybe he has the solution too. We shouldn't delay going to him."

"And what if Akshu comes home in the meantime?"

"If Akanksha had to come home, she would have already come. She never goes anywhere without telling me. It seems the time is near for which she was born."

"It's just your delusion that your Akshu doesn't go anywhere without telling you..!" Jahnvi whispered softly.

"And even if she does go somewhere, she comes back in so much time. She must be in some trouble. Will you come with me?" Rajveer asked, to which Jahnvi quickly nodded her head and said, "There's no other option either."

"Okay. You pack some food and drink. I'll look at some other important things in the meantime."

According to the instructions given by Rajveer Ji, Jahnvi prepared everything and after some time, the two of them left for the temple in Kangra.

On the other side, in the forest, Akanksha and Rivansh were looking for a way to get out of there. They had been walking for a long time, but the forest seemed like a maze. Wherever they started from, they would end up back in the same place.

Akanksha got very tired while walking, so she sat down under a tree. Rivansh also sat down nearby with her.

"We've been walking for so long. It can't be that it's not morning yet.... then why isn't there sunlight here?" Akanksha asked, panting.

"There is no sunlight here," Rivansh replied.

    "But why?"

"You can see for yourself, the trees here are so dense and many of these trees are more than a hundred years old. That's why there probably isn't sunlight here."

As Rivansh said this, Akanksha's attention went upwards, where the trees were indeed very dense. Seeing the fruits on some of the trees, Akanksha happily said, "Thank God! At least there's something to eat. Otherwise, the rats in my stomach have been hip-hopping since when? I'm very hungry."

Akanksha was about to climb the tree to pick the fruits when Rivansh grabbed her leg and pulled her back to stop her. She was about to fall, but Rivansh caught her in his arms. Even though it was very dark in the forest, Akanksha was so close to Rivansh that he saw and felt Akanksha so closely for the first time. Suddenly, Akanksha's eyes had closed in fear of falling from above.

"What are you doing? Don't you know that the trees and fruits of the forest can both be wild? If you eat them, you'll get sick. You could even die," Rivansh scolded her.

Akanksha herself was feeling safe in Rivansh's arms. She slowly opened her eyes. Despite the darkness, her gaze went to Rivansh's eyes.

"Your eyes are so beautiful. I've never seen such beautiful eyes on anyone!"

"We have also never seen a girl more beautiful than you. You are just like a princess. Can we call you princess?"

Akanksha replied, laughing, "Well, someone's finally here to call me princess.... otherwise, I was starting to feel like a maid doing housework. Now let me go!"

A smile came to Rivansh's face as he heard Akanksha's words. He was about to say something to her when the terrible voices of Raghu, Vijay, Sanjay and Ravi screaming echoed in the forest, the roar of which shook even the roots of the trees in the forest.

Trapped in the magical cage, Sanjay, Vijay, Raghu, and Ravi were suffering terribly. Huge wounds had formed all over their bodies, the pain of which was unbearable for them. Driven by the pain, the four of them were shouting loudly, causing the forest floor to tremble.

Akanksha got scared by the vibration and grabbed Rivansh's hand out of fear.

"Aren't there a lot of earthquakes in Shimla these days? And... and what's causing such a terrible noise in this forest? How many days have you been trapped here? Are there any dangerous animals here?... Please do something to get out of here before they make us their prey," Akanksha said, panicking.

"You're right, it's just the noise of wild animals," Rivansh said, caressing her hand with his other hand, "But don't worry, they won't come this way. We are safe here."

"Are you crazy? How can we trust animals? They can come anywhere. Everything here seems very mysterious to me. I don't know how you can behave so normally," Akanksha said, looking around.

The sound of the four of them shouting was increasing, which was making Akanksha very scared.

"If these four keep shouting like this, we won't be able to hide the truth from her for long. We have to do something," Rivansh thought, looking at Akanksha, who was trembling with fear.

Rivansh pulled Akanksha close to him to control her and looked into her eyes. She got angry at his actions and pushed Rivansh away from her.

"What were you doing? Look... even though we are both stuck in the forest together, how can you take advantage of the situation like this? Right now, we should be thinking about getting out of here. If it wasn't dark here, I would never have stayed with you. What you did is..."

Akanksha was speaking when Rivansh broke a piece of wood from the tree above with his eyes and dropped it down. This made her think that Rivansh had pulled her close to save her.

"We just wanted to save you. Don't misunderstand us. If we hadn't pulled you, this wood would have fallen on you, and you could have fainted from it," Rivansh gave a false explanation.

"And how could you see everything so clearly in this darkness?" Akanksha asked angrily, to which Rivansh replied innocently, "If you don't trust us, we will leave from here."

Akanksha didn't respond to his words because now she had no other choice but to trust Rivansh.

"Okay... but stay a little away from me," Akanksha said and started walking ahead.

"Why is our magic not working on her? We can't read her mind, nor is she coming under our control. It seems that now we have to go to those four to stop their voices," he thought, and in the next moment, Rivansh ran like the wind to the cage where those four vampires were imprisoned.

"Get us out of here... you can't keep us captive like this," Raghu shouted in pain, seeing Rivansh.

Rivansh didn't respond to his words and picked up the cage and walked away. He had assumed his gigantic form, and everything was happening so fast that Akanksha didn't even realize that Rivansh was not with her.

Reaching another corner of the forest, Rivansh struck the ground hard with his feet, creating a large deep pit in one blow. He put the cage into that pit. After closing the pit again, Rivansh returned to Akanksha.

"Okay, fine. I misunderstood you, but that doesn't mean I should keep babbling alone here and you shouldn't respond at all. Say something. I feel like I have been walking alone for so long. You haven't said a word in the last 10 minutes," Akanksha said, sitting down under a tree because she was tired.

"We were just listening to you," Rivansh replied, sitting next to her, "Anyone else in your place would have misunderstood us too. Don't worry, we are not angry with you."

"I am very hungry... I can't walk anymore. Isn't there any tree here that is not wild?"

"Okay. We will bring something. But don't move from here at all."

"But where are you going? You know there is a lot of danger here. How will you bring something to eat for me in such a situation?" Akanksha refused to let him go.

"We have been here for quite some time, so we have some information about this place. There are some trees a little further from here, whose fruits are not wild."

"If it's a short distance, then I will also come with you!" Akanksha stood up and got ready to go with him.

"You must be tired, rest here. We will just bring it. Anyway, we have been stuck here for many days, so we have become somewhat familiar with the environment here. This place is safe. No wild animal will come here. We will just bring you something to eat."

In the blink of an eye, Rivansh plucked a lot of fruits from some trees on the edge of the forest and brought them. He came back in about 2 to 3 minutes, so Akanksha asked him in surprise, seeing him there so quickly, "Oh, you came back so quickly?"

"Yes, it was just nearby," Rivansh said, smiling and giving her all the fruits. Akanksha started eating them quickly, and Rivansh was watching her smiling.

In the evening, Janhavi and Rajveer ji reached the Kangra temple to meet Rajpurohit ji. When they reached the temple, the evening aarti was going on there. Rajveer ji and Janhavi first joined the aarti and then went to meet the Pandit ji.

"Greetings Pandit ji!" Rajveer ji said with folded hands, "We had to meet Rajpurohit ji. He wasn't even seen in the evening aarti today, otherwise it can't happen that he doesn't participate in the aarti."

The Pandit ji gave them prasad and said, "Yes, sir... Rajpurohit ji usually stays in the temple premises during the evening aarti, but today he has gone to a nearby village to complete a special puja."

"What? But it was very important for us to meet him. When will he come back?" Janhavi's face fell after hearing the Pandit ji's words, "Daddoo, what will happen now?"

"He will come by tomorrow morning. You can stay in the temple's Dharamshala until then. You can meet him when he comes back tomorrow. I will tell Shyamu, he will drop you there," the Pandit ji called the man standing nearby with a gesture and said, "Shyamu, get a room for these sir and the girl who has come with him in the guest house, so that they don't have any problem staying. Tomorrow morning when Rajpurohit ji returns here, you can talk to him. There will also be arrangements for your stay and food there. Now allow me to leave."

"Thank you, Pandit ji! Let's go to the guest house, Janhavi. We were expecting that Rajpurohit ji might be able to do something, but he is not here either. These troubles don't seem to leave us," Rajveer ji said disappointedly.

"Yes Daddoo, troubles are also just like pimples, one doesn't go that two-four more come out before that."

Hearing her words, a smile came on Rajveer ji's sad face.

"You too Janhavi.... give a good example. Who compares troubles to pimples?"

"Daddoo, you don't know, pimples are no less than a trouble."

Rajveer ji reached the Dharamshala room with Janhavi. Now their only hope was Rajpurohit ji and because he was not present here, they had no choice but to wait for him.

On the other hand, after eating fruits in the forest, Akanksha fell asleep for some time. The sun had set and they were both still sitting under the same tree.

Akanksha was eating the remaining fruits again because she was feeling hungry again.

"Why didn't you eat anything... Aren't you hungry? Here, you also eat some fruits. We will have to walk a long way ahead. Who knows if we will get something to eat or not."

"Yes... and the prey is sitting in front of us but for the first time, I don't feel like taking someone's life," Rivansh thought.

"You said that you know the way here. I want to go out. My family must be worried about me. Can't we get out of here as soon as possible?"

Instead of answering Akanksha's question, Rivansh was thinking in his mind, "We can throw you out of the forest in a minute if we want, but then you will find out our truth."

Akanksha got annoyed because he didn't answer. She said angrily, "Where do you keep getting lost? I have been babbling since when and you are not saying anything."

"Where do you give the other person a chance to speak?" After saying this, Rivansh became silent again.

They were talking when Rivansh heard someone's footsteps. He could smell someone human being around.

"It seems that arrangements have been made to satisfy our hunger," Rivansh thought, when his eyes fell on Akanksha, who was unaware of his truth.

"You stay here, we will be right back," Rivansh said and disappeared like the wind from there.

Following the scent, Rivansh moved forward and saw a man in front of him, who had mistakenly come into the forest like the rest of the people.

"I don't know how I stepped into this ominous forest. O God! Protect me," the man was walking while muttering.

Just then, Rivansh came close to him and said, "It seems that you have lost your way. Come, we will help you."

The man pushed Rivansh and said, "Hey go away! Will I take help from cheap people like you? Don't you know who I am... Hey, I am a very rich man. I know you looters very well. As soon as you see a rich man, you just come to loot him...!"

Rivansh quickly came back to him again, "Perhaps you don't know who we are." Rivansh didn't give him a chance to say anything further and before that, he came near his neck and drank all his blood in one go, "This time we will not apologize to our prey. People like you who don't understand poor people, don't even have the right to live. The smell of your blood itself is telling how many innocent people's rights you must have eaten."

Rivansh was standing there when suddenly a torch light fell on his face. In that light, the blood on Rivansh's face was clearly visible. There was devilishness on his face and blood had come down in his eyes.

Rivansh's eyes were dazzled because of the light on his face. He could see clearly in that light when a voice came from the front.

"Y...you... you are a vampire." Akanksha was standing in front.

Seeing the fresh blood on Reevansh's red eyes and lips, Akanksha didn't take long to understand the truth. Moreover, there was the dead body of the man lying below as evidence. Knowing his reality, she stepped back in fear, "So this is your truth? What did you say, that you also got lost? It's a good thing I found a fallen torch there, which probably belonged to one of your victims. You are that Prince Reevansh, aren't you? You're the one who's been killing all those people whose bodies have been found in the forest for so many years. How can you take the lives of so many innocent people like this? Maybe people are right about you... that you willingly performed demonic rituals to gain powers." Despite being scared, Akanksha voiced everything she felt in front of him.

Reevansh returned to his normal appearance so that Akanksha wouldn't be afraid of him. "You are misunderstanding us, Princess!"

Akanksha replied angrily, "What am I misunderstanding? I've understood you correctly now... I know you will kill me too, right?"

"We can never kill you. If we wanted to kill you, we would have done it by now... We fell in lo...!"

Akanksha interrupted, "A demon can never love anyone... all it knows is to take someone's life." She started moving away from there, "And don't follow me. Yes, if you want to kill me, kill me right here. You won't even have to put in much effort."

Reevansh replied sadly, "Why would we kill you? We told you, we fell in love with you the moment we saw you. You are very innocent, just like a child... We have been listening to your every word with full attention all day. Please, Angel, don't go ahead alone like this... There is a lot of danger for you in this forest."

Akanksha had reached a little further away from him, but still, his voice was clearly audible in her ears. She shouted from a distance, "And the biggest danger is from you. Don't follow me!"

"As you wish... Now it is our responsibility to protect you. We cannot let you wander alone in the forest. We love you, but the other vampires here don't. If they see you, it won't take them a minute to hunt you down...." Akanksha was walking, ignoring his words. While the thought of the other vampires came to Reevansh's mind, he left from there and gathered all the vampires of the forest in one place at that moment.

Leading the vampires, the eldest vampire, Jeevan, asked, "Prince... why have you called us all here together? Is there another crisis? We imprisoned those villains, didn't we?"

"What's up, Boss... I was just planning to flirt with a girl... you disturbed me in the middle!" said another vampire.

Cutting him off, Binoy, who was not very old but still quite sensible, said, "Ki holo Rajkumar? Have those four become free again? Did they try to trouble you again?"

Reevansh silenced them all and said, "Shhh... be quiet all of you... no one is giving me a chance to speak. She didn't let me speak since morning, and now you all have started too!"

"Who is she, Prince?" Jeevan asked.

"A girl mistakenly came into the forest last night. Maybe she has some good powers... that's why when she came, there was a circle of amazing light around her. Maybe that's why we were drawn to her. We tried very hard so that she wouldn't know who we are..." Reevansh's face fell as he spoke, "But she found out that we are not normal humans... and she got angry and left from here. We don't want any of you to hunt her."

"Hey Boss... why would we lay hands on your prey? You can freely drink her blood... and party tonight." Mohit habitually spoke in the middle again, to which Jeevan scolded him, "Mohit, keep your mouth shut... if the Prince wanted to hunt her, that girl wouldn't be alive by now. He doesn't want to hunt her but wants to save her. Now why is that, he himself knows better."

"I don't know, Dada, why that is. But she left, angry with us. Still, we will try to send her back out of the forest by tomorrow morning. Just until then, all of you stay away from her. Remember that she should not be harmed."

"Looks like, Boss, you have also fallen in love," Mohit muttered again.

Hearing his words, all the vampires started looking at him, while Reevansh smiled and started walking towards Akanksha.

Before the next dawn, Rajpurohit ji had completed the puja and returned to the temple. Hearing the news of his return, Janhavi and Rajveer ji immediately went to his room to meet him.

"Pranam Rajpurohit ji...!" As soon as Rajveer ji saw Rajpurohit ji, he respectfully joined both his hands, "Did you recognize me? We are..."

"Be calm, Sir. We never forget those we have met. Why is your mind so restless today?" Rajpurohit ji replied calmly.

Rajveer ji sat down with Janhavi in front of him.

"Pranam Rajpurohit ji...!" Janhavi said before sitting there.

"Be happy, daughter!" Rajpurohit ji blessed Janhavi and said, "She doesn't look like your granddaughter."

Hearing his words, Rajveer ji looked at him in surprise and said, "How do you know that it's not Akanksha?"

"I had said that every human is born with a goal... and unwillingly, the Almighty brings them closer to that goal. It seems your granddaughter Akanksha has reached close to her goal. That's why her worry has pulled you here to me after so many years."

Rajveer ji and Janhavi looked at Rajpurohit in surprise. They had not told him anything yet. Despite that, Rajpurohit ji had accurately recognized the situation.

Seeing their questioning faces, Rajpurohit ji said with a smile, "Don't be surprised, Sir! We are also ordinary humans like you. The lines of worry on your face are indicating the restlessness of your mind. Now tell me, what happened?"

"My Akshu has reached the forest beyond Shimla. People say that forest is cursed... and there is a den of vampires there." Rajveer ji said with tearful eyes, "Rajpurohit ji, save my child. She is my only support."

"How can the place where the shadow of Satan himself has fallen be holy?" It seems that your granddaughter was born to relieve Mother Earth from the burden she has been bearing for centuries."

"Is there no danger to my child's life, Rajpurohit ji?"

"You should have a feeling of pride, not worry, on your face, that the Almighty has chosen your granddaughter for a specific task. The nature that has given her powers also protects her every moment. Don't worry at all. Nothing will happen to Akanksha."

"But vampires in the forest...!" Janhavi said in a low voice.

"It is not necessary that all evil powers are evil. Sometimes goodness can be hidden in evil... and among those evils, there are some goodness too, who have unknowingly become slaves of Satan." Rajpurohit clarified her doubt.

"Are you saying that among those vampires, there are some good vampires too, who will protect Akshu? Then there will be no danger to Akshu, right?" Janhavi asked.

Rajpurohit ji - "Yes, that's the hope. But it is said that no one has ever returned alive from that forest. It doesn't take long for evil to dominate goodness. In such a situation, Akanksha will have to face the evil by recognizing her powers."

"But how will my child fight those vampires alone?" Rajveer said in surprise, "She doesn't even fully realize her powers...!"

Hearing his words, Rajpurohit ji thought for a while with his eyes closed and then said, "You people get ready and reach the courtyard of the temple. We will pray to Goddess there and also try to help Akanksha... Tomorrow before the first ray of sunlight comes out, we will do a special big puja in the morning.... The rest the Pandit ji will explain to you."

According to what Rajpurohit ji said, Janhavi and Rajveer ji reached the courtyard of the temple, ready for the small puja. In that puja, they were joined by another Pandit including those Rajpurohit ji and Rajveer ji and Janhavi.

This puja was being done for the protection of Akanksha.

Akanksha was wandering in the forest, hiding from Reevansh, while Reevansh was with her like a shadow. She had climbed on a tree to spend the night. Although she had no idea of the time, she came down from the tree as soon as she woke up.

Akanksha was talking to herself while searching for the way.

"I don't know where the end of this forest is? Somehow I spent the night climbing on the tree. Even in the daytime, it feels scary here. I don't even know what time it is? I am so hungry that I can't even take a step."

Just then she heard someone's footsteps. Hearing that, she got a little scared.

"Who...!" Akanksha said nervously, "W...w... who is there? Please don't kill me!"

Reevansh threw a fruit towards her and said, "Here you go, Princess... you were hungry, weren't you?"

"You came again? It seems you are hungry, not me, that you have come behind me to kill me."

Reevansh replied with a smile, "If we wanted to kill you, we would have killed you long ago. You come to us, we will pick you up and throw you out of the forest. We will get you out of here safely."

"What... have you gone mad? Why would I come to you... How can I trust you... you might drink my blood. Look, I got checked by the doctor last month only. I already have a deficiency of blood inside me... your stomach won't even be filled." Akanksha started moving forward quickly from there.

"You stay in front of us, whether our stomach is filled or not, our heart will be happy."

Akanksha said while eating the fruit thrown by Reevansh, "Look, I am eating because I am hungry... and there is no one else here who can help me."

"Does that mean you trust us? Don't be afraid! We have told all the vampires of the forest to stay away from you. There is no danger to you now."

Hearing Reevansh's words, Akanksha sat down in fear.

"What... there are more vampires in the forest. Oh God! Where have I gotten stuck... what if these people celebrate a party together... and it turns out that I am finished."

"So should we throw you out of the forest?"

Akanksha shouted while running away, "I am saying... don't come behind me."

"We are telling you, you can't run faster than a vampire, Princess...!" The very next moment, Reevansh was standing in front of her.

Seeing Reevansh in front of her, Akanksha started running in the opposite direction to escape him.

Reevansh came in front of her again and said, "Your torch fell there. Turn it on, you won't have trouble seeing."

"Are you crazy?" Akanksha said breathlessly, "I'm about to die running here. There's no food to eat here, and no water to drink... I can't run anymore... If you want to kill me, then kill me. But I can't run anymore."

Akanksha started feeling dizzy due to hunger and thirst. She started falling down dizzy when Reevansh caught her in his arms.

"Why would we kill you? How many times do we have to say that if we wanted to kill you, we would have killed you long ago."

"Yes, I'm tired of hearing that. Can I get some water?"

"Why didn't you tell me before that you were thirsty?" Saying this, Reevansh picked her up in his arms. Akanksha had barely blinked when the next moment she was with him in front of a lake.

"Okay, put me down now...! Even an airplane wouldn't get someone here so quickly. How can you run so fast, Mr. Devil?" Akanksha asked, widening her eyes.

"Devil... Not bad... We like this name, Angel!" Saying this, Reevansh put her down.

"Wow, you can even speak English."

"You might be forgetting that we studied abroad, so it's obvious that we would know their language. Come on, drink some water quickly. This place is not safe." Reevansh saw that pit some distance away, where he had buried the cage.

Akanksha quickly drank water from there and sat down by the lake to rest.

"By the way, how many vampires live here... and why would they all listen to you? What if someone catches me and has a party...!"

"They will listen to us because we are the most powerful vampire in this forest. There were no other vampires in this forest before us." Reevansh also sat down near her.

"Oh, so it's all about bossing around... Okay, what if there is no prey in the forest ever... then, don't you guys get hungry?" Akanksha was no longer afraid of Reevansh.

"Are you going to take the whole interview today? When you have started trusting us, then come, let us throw you out of the forest. You will reach your home safely. And are you not afraid of us anymore?"

Akanksha shook her head in a yes and said, "But now I want to talk to you. I want to know the truth, Reevansh, the truth of that night."

"You have already read everything in that book, so what else do you want to know from us?"

"Can I hold your hand for a little while?"

"So that you can know everything that happened to us?"

Akanksha was shocked to hear Reevansh's words.

"How do you know that I have some powers.....! I didn't tell you about this?"

"We are not ordinary humans who need to be told anything. The moment you stepped into the forest, we realized that you are not an ordinary human. The armor of your powers of goodness, which was protecting you, made us realize that you are special. For the first time, a ray of light appeared in the dense darkness of the forest. You have not come to this forest in your sleep.... nor unknowingly. Your goal has drawn you here, Princess..!" As soon as Reevansh finished speaking, Akanksha looked at him in amazement.

"What goal, Reevansh? What are you trying to say, I don't understand anything."

"We don't know your goal, but we want you to know about us. Know about our history, that neither were we wrong yesterday nor are we today. It was wrong that happened to us, due to which we are forced to live this cursed life today." Reevansh's pain was clearly visible in his words.

"Even if you were not wrong yesterday. But today you are wrong.... You have taken the lives of who knows how many people to satisfy your hunger. You said that there were no other vampires in this forest before you, so where did the rest of the vampires come from? I read that if a vampire bites an ordinary person, they also become a vampire. The cursed life that you have been blessed with, you have written the same in the fate of many others." Akanksha said angrily.

Reevansh felt very bad hearing her words. He pulled Akanksha close to him and said, "How can you say that to us? Look into our eyes...! Do you see a devil in these eyes?"

"Then what was it that I saw last night?" Akanksha was trying unsuccessfully to get out of Reevansh's grip.

"You have been in this forest for the last 2 days. You didn't get food, so you writhed. Think... we have been imprisoned in the forest for the last several hundred years. We haven't even taken a step outside this forest. We suffocate in this darkness. You don't know how disgusted we are with this life. But we have to do all this out of compulsion. You humans can even die due to not getting food. But what about us.... we are only going to get pain and suffering. And you want to know where the rest of the vampires in the forest came from?" Reevansh took both of Akanksha's hands in his hands and said, "Close your eyes.... and see..... that what always appears is not the truth. Many times the truth is hidden behind 100 veils. Which requires not eyes, but purity of heart to see."

As soon as Akanksha closed her eyes holding Reevansh's hand, she started seeing everything that had happened that night.

Seeing the terrible sight of that night, Akanksha's soul trembled. Seeing the betrayal that Reevansh had suffered, tears came into her eyes.

Reevansh wiped Akanksha's tears and said, "What happened Akanksha? Why do you have tears in your eyes now?"

"I'm sorry. I didn't know that such a big betrayal had happened to you. But still, you shouldn't have made the rest of the people vampires. You also did the same thing that happened to you...!"

Reevansh replied with a smile, "Do we look like that to you? We didn't do this. Even if we have to take someone's life out of compulsion, we don't make anyone a vampire. All this has been done by those four deceivers. Whenever they drink someone's blood, they put some part of their blood inside them... and make their souls slaves of the devil. Due to which those people also become vampires. By doing this, the devils become happy with them."

"By those four, you mean your treacherous friends, right? Are those four also in this forest?"

"Yes..! They have been kept captive. Now you know why the rest of the vampires listen to us today? Because we protect them from all the troubles. Those four are their masters, but we protect them from their atrocities."

Even after knowing Reevansh's past, Akanksha's mind was restless. There were many questions related to Reevansh's past running in her mind, which she was hesitant to ask.

"Your face is clearly telling that your curiosity has not calmed down yet. Whatever is in your mind, you can ask without hesitation." Akanksha became comfortable as soon as Reevansh said this.

"Your friends were saying that you have made some such mistake that due to which all your remaining goodness has been dominated by the evil of that sin.... and you got this vampire life. What did you do that you are having to live the life of a vampire?" She asked.

"We don't even remember that... If we remembered, we would definitely repent. It is said that even the biggest sin is forgiven by repenting. Is it justice to get such a big punishment for a sin committed unknowingly?" Reevansh replied in a sad tone, "Let's go from here now. This place is not safe. We had imprisoned those four some distance away from here."

While speaking, Reevansh's hand collided with Akanksha's hand. She felt a little shy by the sudden touch.

"Don't take situation advantage. I can stand up on my own too..!" Akanksha said, standing up.

"Our hand accidentally touched your hand. By the way, you are very beautiful.... from the heart and from the body too."

"It's so dark here, then how did you see me?" Akanksha asked in surprise.

"Darkness is for others... what is darkness for darkness? We can see in the dark. Now you have got the answers to all your questions, right... Come, let us throw you out of the forest, so that you can reach your home safely."

"Hey, why are you talking about throwing me again and again? What if I get hurt.!" Akanksha said, widening her eyes.

"Not at all while we are here..!"

"You want salvation, right?" Hearing the name of salvation, Akanksha Reevansh replied with a smile, "Not now ... After seeing you, we also feel like living."

"You are already dead, right? You only have your body, the soul is imprisoned with the devil, right?"

"And which even God cannot free." Saying this, Reevansh's voice became heavy and he got up to leave from there.

What was happening in the jungle was completely unknown to Rajpurohit Ji, but he was not unaware of the impending doom by observing the changes in the weather.

As per his instructions, Rajveer Ji, along with Jahnvi, arrived at the temple courtyard at 12:00 AM for the prayer. Besides the three of them, some special priests of the temple were present at that time.

Rajveer Ji was not expecting so many people to be present. He asked Rajpurohit Ji, "Rajpurohit Ji, so many people...!"

"Don't worry, sir, they have all come to ensure the completion of the prayer," Rajpurohit Ji reassured him.

Before the prayer began, the group of priests present there created a protective shield around the temple. As soon as they sat down for the prayer, the sky turned black, and lightning began to strike with a terrible rumble of thunder.

Seeing the sudden change in the weather, Jahnvi panicked.

"I'm feeling very strange. I hope Akanksha is okay?"

"Look, I don't want to hide anything from you. This prayer is to awaken a special weapon. Akanksha's life is in danger. We will awaken the weapon through the Yagya... if that weapon reaches her and she destroys that evil today, then her goal will be achieved. Today, either that evil will be eradicated from its roots... or she herself...!"

As Rajpurohit Ji said this, Rajveer Ji said, trembling with fear, "Don't say that, Rajpurohit Ji. We have hope only from you..!"

"Place your hope in that Mother Goddess, sir. Just as she herself destroyed evil... in the same way, may your granddaughter destroy evil today. Let's start the prayer. It is possible that the inhabitants of Satan may also come here today to stop us, but none of us will step out of this courtyard... and will not look at anything other than the sacred fire of the Yagya. The power of deceit will be at its peak outside the temple, but today deceit has to be defeated with faith and devotion." Saying this, Rajpurohit Ji began the prayer.

As they thought, it would not be so easy to do all this, demonic powers in the form of strange animals came outside the protective shield of the temple. But Rajpurohit Ji was well acquainted with such a situation, so it was not so easy to break the impenetrable shield he had created. Despite thousands of troubles, not a single person present there diverted their attention from the prayer even for a moment.

Inside the jungle, the four vampires Sanjay, Vijay, Raghu, and Ravi, who were imprisoned in the cage, were suffering. They were already in pain because of being trapped in the cage, and on top of that, Rivansh had buried that cage in the ground. Because of this, they were helpless.

"We have to get out of this cage somehow. We had made so many plans for today. Remember what the auspicious time is today?" Raghu said, writhing in pain.

"Yes, yes, we remember everything... and how can we forget. After a while, the lunar eclipse will begin in the netherworld, in which the moon will be in its most inauspicious Nakshatra, Bharani," Sanjay said, continuing his point.

"And at this time, all the slaves of Satan are equally powerful," Vijay said, "That's why they tried to get those foolish vampires on their side. But all in vain." He stamped his feet in anger.

"But we have to take advantage of this opportunity at any cost. If we don't do anything today, then this opportunity will never come easily again. Come on, now let's put all our strength together and get out of this captivity," On Ravi's saying this, all three of them started flailing their arms and legs to get out of there.

On the other hand, Rivansh became sad thinking about his liberation. He knew very well that this longing for liberation would never be quenched. Ever since Akanksha held his hand and saw his truth, he had also begun to feel his pain. She was walking behind Rivansh without saying anything.

In his pain and suffering, Rivansh forgot that he was heading in the direction where he had put Ravi, Raghu, Sanjay, and Vijay in a cage in the ground.

Rivansh was moving aimlessly forward without any fear. As Akanksha's foot fell on that pit while coming behind him, with a strong jolt, all four of them came out along with the cage. The ground cracked and there was a strong jolt and Akanksha jumped and fell away. As soon as the cage came out, it opened and the four vampires were free from its captivity.

As soon as he saw Akanksha, Raghu moved forward to attack her.

"Oh... love is in the air here."

Seeing him coming towards her, Akanksha covered her face with fear and shouted loudly, "S... Save me..! Rivansh..!"

Seeing him move towards Akanksha, Rivansh came with the speed of wind and, picking Akanksha up in his arms, pushed Raghu away with his feet. Seeing all four of them outside, he growled in anger, "You four are out again. This time, we are not going to let you go." Akanksha was in Rivansh's arms. In anger, he assumed his gigantic form, seeing which Akanksha panicked badly. His huge body looked like a terrible animal.

Seeing him, Akanksha started screaming in panic, "L... Leave me..!"

"Oh, your girlfriend is scared, Prince..! This is their real form... it seems, you have never seen it before... but now that you have seen it, he will kill you too like the others," Ravi said laughing.

Rivansh left Akanksha. She was slightly injured due to falling from the height. He angrily lifted Ravi into the air.

"I don't know why you come to be defeated every time. If anything happens to them, we will take your life," saying this, he threw Ravi away.

"He will kill you too... like he killed his fiance in childhood. It would be better if you run away from here to save your life. Otherwise, he will kill you too. This is not your human, but a monster," Hearing Vijay's words, Akanksha stood up from her place and shouted in anger, "The monsters are you four, who became friends and deceived your own friend..!"

"He has fooled you too by telling his false story," Sanjay said laughing, "If he was innocent, he would not have been living the life of a vampire today."

"Okay, what did he do that made him a vampire?" Akanksha was trying to know everything from them in her talks.

"You also wanted to know, didn't you, Prince, what sin you had committed? Remember that day... when you went to the river bank with your fiance, Sunaina, in your childhood," Raghu was trying to provoke Rivansh despite being in his grip so that he would kill Akanksha in anger.

"What nonsense are you talking about? We have never wished ill for anyone, even by mistake..!" Rivansh replied.

"This is not nonsense, everything is true. To hide your sin, your father had sent you abroad to study. Otherwise, people would have burned you alive... if you were in Bilaspur. A murderer and killer would never have been allowed to become the heir of Bilaspur..!" On Sanjay's reminding him, Rivansh started thinking about his past. Meanwhile, he assumed his normal form. Akanksha quickly came and held his hand so that she could peek into his past through his memories.

Akanksha quickly grabbed Sanjay's hand so she could peek into his past through his memories.

    The year 1835...

Preparations for a celebration were underway in the Bilaspur principality because Prince Rivansh, the sole heir to the principality, was to be married to Sunaina, the daughter of Raghavendra Pratap Singh, a friend of Jai Pratap Singh Ji. Rivansh was 10 years old at the time, and Sunaina was 7. Both children, along with some other children, including Ravi, Raghu, Sanjay, and Vijay, went to the lake outside the palace to play.

After playing for a long time, they both sat down by an artificial lake nearby.

"Look, Princess... how the swans are swimming... Do you know how to swim? You swim like them... otherwise, I won't marry you," Rivansh insisted in his childishness.

"But I don't know how to swim," Sunaina replied innocently. Hearing her words, Rivansh became angry. He shouted at her loudly, "No, you have to swim."

Before Sunaina could say anything, Rivansh pushed her into the river in his childishness. Seeing her in the water, the children present there clapped and laughed loudly, "The princess is swimming."

Sunaina lost her life before their very eyes. While there was a festive atmosphere on one hand, on the other hand, the people of Raghavendra Pratap Singh's principality had become enemies of Rivansh's life. To protect him from them, Jai Pratap Singh kept Rivansh hidden at another friend's house for 5 years. When Rivansh grew up, he sent him abroad to study. As the memory of this accident faded from people's minds with time, the king thought of calling Rivansh back to the principality.

Knowing the truth of that day, Rivansh said with a heavy heart, "But all that happened to us unknowingly. How can we be punished so severely for an unintentional mistake? We didn't deliberately take Sunaina's life. We were children...!" Rivansh was burning in the fire of remorse.

Vijay, Sanjay, Ravi, and Raghu saw that Rivansh was burning in his remorse, and taking advantage of the opportunity, Ravi and Raghu picked up that cage and threw it on Rivansh.

Rivansh was now writhing in the cage like a wounded lion. Akanksha stepped forward to get him out. She touched the cage to open it, but she received a shock faster than lightning and fell down injured. Seeing her in that condition, the four of them were laughing with devilish laughter.

They locked her outside and resorted to the same cunningness that they had done so many years ago.

"Get us out...!" Rivansh cried out in pain.

"Ravi... Raghu... prepare for the tantric rituals as soon as possible. Before sunrise on earth, we have to offer the prince as a sacrifice to the devil," as Sanjay said this, the three of them were gathering the materials for the tantric rituals, but hearing Rivansh's cries, all the demons of the forest began to gather in that direction.

Seeing them coming towards them, the four of them got scared.

"Vijay, do something quickly. We four cannot deal with so many demons. Before they all move towards us and destroy us, we have to trap them," Sanjay shouted loudly.

"But we only have one cage, in which Rivansh is imprisoned. How can we trap so many demons in this small cage?" Vijay replied.

"What kind of foolish things are you saying? This is not an ordinary cage but a magical cage. We can trap the whole world in it at once... then these are just a few demons," Ravi said.

"You have become a fool... if we trap these people, then we will have to free Rivansh. If we free him, then we will never be able to complete this ritual," Raghu replied angrily.

"Don't waste time in conversation. This girl will help us control the prince." Without waiting for the reply of the three of them, Sanjay removed the cage from Rivansh and threw it on all the demons.

"Prince... protect us...! Get us out...!" All the demons started speaking in a tormented voice in unison.

The remaining demons of the forest, not being very powerful, became very weak as soon as they entered the cage.

On the other hand, Rivansh was now free, but the powers of the cage had weakened him. He was unable to get up even if he wanted to. At the same time, Akanksha was lying injured near him.

"Get up, Princess... we need you today," Rivansh said in a tired voice.

Akanksha was trying her best with all her might. Those four had started their tantric rituals, due to which Rivansh was becoming even weaker.

Despite so many obstacles in the temple of Kangra, the royal priest did not stop his worship. The entire place outside the security cordon had been destroyed by demonic powers. It was 4:00 in the morning, and in that hour, that divine weapon awakened and came out of the fire. It was in the form of a small sword-like figure, which was white like snow due to being made of silver.

Seeing the awakened weapon, everyone bowed to it, and with this, it flew away from their eyes and entered the forest in the next moment.

In the forest, Rivansh was writhing on the ground. He was feeling very powerless and weak.

"A...Akanksha.. Please recognize yourself... you are not an ordinary human being... if you were... then... then these people would not waste a moment in killing you. Feel your powers... which... nature has given you for some special work," Rivansh, lying on the ground, was encouraging Akanksha. Now she was his only support, who could save him and this forest from the evil intentions of those four.

"But I can only see the past... then how will I deal with these powerful demons? You yourself must have seen, when I came near that cage to save you, I was thrown away from it in a single shock. I couldn't even touch it... how can I help you people in such a situation?" Akanksha said sadly.

Rivansh held Akanksha's hand, as if he wanted to transmit some kind of energy into it... but as soon as he held her hand, Rivansh himself started feeling powerful again, as if the powers of both had merged.

Holding her hand with a single jolt, Rivansh stood up from there and began to assume his gigantic form.

Those four were engrossed in their worship, which was just a little bit left.

As the four of them stood up for the final offering, Rivansh lifted Sanjay into the air. As he got up, their worship was disrupted. In anger, Raghu moved to attack Akanksha, but powers created a security cordon around her, which was difficult for Sanjay to cross.

"You were right Rivansh, these people can never harm me," Akanksha shouted, so that her voice could reach Rivansh's ears, who was assuming his gigantic form at that time.

"We can't do anything to you, but we can still kill him." Ravi uprooted a nearby tree and attacked Rivansh.

Happy after doing that, his remaining 3 companions also started destroying Rivansh. Akanksha was unable to do anything even if she wanted to, when her eyes fell on the divine weapon coming tearing through the forest. Kanksha raised her hand upwards so that it could go straight into her hand.

"What to do with this? Where did it suddenly come from? Whatever it is, it will help in dealing with them." Unaware of the powers of the weapon, Akanksha attacked Raghu's hand with the weapon without thinking. With a small attack, Raghu's hand was cut off and fell to the other side, which no one had even expected.

Seeing that scene, Rivansh did not take long to recognize the powers of that weapon.

"Akanksha, this is not an ordinary weapon. Attack the middle of their heads with this weapon," as Rivansh shouted, leaving Raghu there, those three demons started running away from there to save their lives. But Rivansh caught them there and Akanksha attacked the middle of the heads of those four with that weapon as he had said. Those four started falling there injured.

"It seems, they are about to die now," there was a feeling of victory on Akanksha's face.

"No... they may have been injured by this weapon, but they have not died," Rivansh closed his eyes and saw something and then slowly opened his eyes and said, "The rays of the sun have knocked outside the forest. Now they will end in that divine light itself," saying this, Rivansh threw those four out of the forest one by one.

In the sunlight, all of them turned into ashes. As they died, the ashes of all the demons trapped in the cage started flying in the forest.

"How is this...!" Akanksha asked in surprise.

"This happened because all of them were slaves of those and had become demons from their part. As they ended, their existence was automatically erased," Rivansh replied, "If seen, in a way everything went well, that they got salvation. We are just we left Akanksha... attack us also and give us freedom from this life."

Hearing the words of killing him from Rivansh's mouth, Akanksha's eyes became moist. She was standing there like a stone, while time was slipping like sand from Rivansh's hands.

"Attack, Princess...!" Rivansh said holding Akanksha's hand. She jerked Rivansh's hand and said in a stern voice, "No...!"

In the temple of Kangra, the royal priest realized as the weather calmed down that evil had ended.

The royal priest said with a smile, "Today once again goodness has triumphed over evil... May Goddess protect everyone. Don't worry sir, your granddaughter is safe."

Hearing about Akanksha's recovery from the royal priest's mouth, Rajveer ji and Akanksha breathed a sigh of relief.

Jahnavi said happily, "It's good that Akshu is fine... now let her come... I'll tell her. She went to the forest alone."

"Okay Jahnavi... when Akshu comes, I will tell her to take you along next time too," Rajveer ji said laughing.

"No... I am not going to any forest," Jahnavi said making a face.

Rajveer ji joined hands in front of the royal priest as a form of gratitude and said, "The word thank you will fall short for what you have done. I will always be grateful to you Royal Priest ji...!"

"Your granddaughter has done the favor, by freeing this earth from sin... you must bring her here to us. Matarani... always protect her. Now you should go home. She must be waiting for you."

After bowing to the royal priest, Rajveer ji left for Shimla with Jahnavi.

In the forest, Rivansh was standing surprised after hearing from Akanksha's mouth that she would not kill him.

"Attack, Princess...!" Rivansh said once again.

"I can never attack you Rivansh...!"

"But why? Only we are left here.... and... and we want freedom Princess... please attack..!"

"You only had said that after meeting me, you feel like living... so can't I feel like living by seeing you?" Akanksha said emotionally.

"Don't be crazy... we are not human like you. Our end is necessary Akanksha...! We are telling you... you attack. We both have no future. We are a devil.. and an angel..! Don't take any decision by getting carried away by emotions."

"Sorry...! But I can't kill you." Akanksha said hiding the divine weapon, "I... I love you...! Then I don't care that you are a devil."

"No Akanksha...! You... how can you love us? You know our truth... then how can you love us...!" Rivansh was not able to believe his ears.

"This is the truth Rivansh...! And you are not a devil. I have felt your pure heart myself," Akanksha threw the weapon down and hugged Rivansh.

"Think once again... your life with us will not be easy."

"Now I have thought Mr. Devil...!"

"So are you ready to become the angel of this devil?" Rivansh asked, so Akanksha replied hiding in his arms, "Yes ...but you will never take anyone's life... promise me...!"

"As you say... Princess," Rivansh said caressing her hair, "We promise that we will not drink the blood of any living being. And this is a promise from a devil to his angel."

A mysterious place, where there was dense darkness all around, but in this dense darkness, the red light of fire and lava illuminated the place a little. The place was so hot that it could easily melt iron.

There, in the middle, something like a large and tall dry tree branch was visible... but it was not a tree. It was a throne built at a height. Someone was sitting on it... and countless figures surrounded the throne below, standing with their heads bowed.

"Master... Master... the souls of all the demons imprisoned in the ice cave have been freed one by one. Where a new reign of evil was to be established in this world tomorrow... evil has ended on Earth." A shadow spoke with its head bowed.

"No... this cannot happen!" The person sitting on the throne stood up with a loud cry; in his hand was a long staff with a blue gem-like stone embedded at the end. It was none other than the king of all dark forces himself, who lived in the netherworld.

"How is it possible that someone could free the souls of the demons imprisoned there without setting foot in the netherworld... and... and the king of demons... Prince Reevansh? His soul...! Has that also been freed?"

As soon as he asked, one of the souls present there said, "No Master... his soul is still imprisoned in the ice cave, where the souls of the other demons were imprisoned."

"Then how is it possible that the rest of the demons have been freed...! Is this how you were guarding...!" In anger, he shone some light from the blue stone on the staff in his hand on those guards, causing them to turn into piles of ash on the spot. He further said, "If the king of demons is safe, then there is nothing to worry about..! Now is the time to establish the reign of demons on Earth... to give evil a new form and all this will be done by... the king of demons himself... Prince Reevansh...!"

Then a terrifying laugh of the god of evil echoed throughout the netherworld..!

"There are 93 days left until the next lunar eclipse. By then, the king of demons himself will establish the demon reign on Earth. This is our prophecy... the voice of the devil."

His voice began to echo throughout the netherworld. And the demonic forces standing below began to chant his praises in unison. But his voice was so loud and terrifying that it drowned out their voices. Only one voice was echoing all around:

"The king of demons, Reevansh, himself will establish the demon reign on Earth...!"

    ★★★★

On the other side, Aakanksha and Reevansh were taking vows of love in each other's arms. Even though the devil's voice did not reach Reevansh's ears sitting there, he felt a strange shudder inside him, which was not a good sign.

Reevansh suddenly moved away from Aakanksha.

"What happened? Are you okay?" Aakanksha was a little surprised by his behavior.

"Aakanksha... where is that weapon with which you killed the rest of the demons?" Reevansh stood up and started searching for that divine weapon, "Aakanksha... you did not make the right decision by not killing us. We... we could become a threat to anyone. You... you take that weapon and finish us. Where did that weapon go?"

"It disappeared as soon as I threw it. But what suddenly happened to you?" Aakanksha held Reevansh's hand and stopped him, "Please don't hide anything from me...! Is it... is it that you don't love me. I was the fool who was giving you so much value... and you...!" Saying this, her eyes became moist.

Reevansh pulled her into an embrace and said, "Don't ever say that we don't love you. Rather, we fell in love with you at first sight."

"Then why are you talking like this?"

"We are feeling very strange. It feels like... something wrong is going to happen... very wrong. You didn't do the right thing by saving us Aakanksha...!"

"Who are you to decide what is right and wrong... and as long as we are together... nothing wrong can ever happen." Aakanksha said with a smile, seeing her smile, Reevansh dismissed that feeling as his delusion and forgot about it.

Aakanksha and Reevansh were wandering in the forest... now the darkness there had disappeared. The sunlight filtering through the dense trees of the forest was illuminating the place.

"Thank God! There are so many trees in this forest, otherwise you would have had problems in this sunlight, right...?" Aakanksha was sitting under a tree with Reevansh.

"Yes..! Even though you have spared my life..! But we are a dem..." Before Reevansh could complete his sentence, Aakanksha put her finger on his lips and said, "Shush...! Don't ever say that again. No one can know better than me what you are. Tell me... what powers do you have?"

"We can make our body huge... but only us... not the rest of the demons! We are their king. We can read anyone's mind... control them."

"If you can read anyone's mind, then tell me what is going on in my mind?"

"No... we cannot read your mind..! Our powers don't work on you. Otherwise, we would have taken you to your home long ago." Hearing the name of home from Reevansh's mouth, Aakanksha stuck out her tongue and said, "Home... Oh God..! I forgot about Dadu and Jaanhvi. They must be in a bad state without me. Reevansh... I have to go home. My Dadu must be waiting for me... and Jaanhvi... she will be alone with Dadu."

"And your parents? And who is this Jaanhvi?" Reevansh asked.

"Jaanhvi is my friend, Reevansh, I will definitely introduce you to her someday. And my mom and dad are no longer in this world. Apart from Dadu, I have no one else in this world." Aakanksha replied sadly.

"No.... apart from your Dadu, there is now one more person in this world who loves you very much. And don't worry... we will safely take you to your home."

"But... how will we meet again? And... and you won't even have a mobile. How will we talk? Man... I don't understand how we will do it." Aakanksha was speaking quickly in one breath.

Reevansh said with a smile, "Just stop..! You don't need to think about all this while we are here. And yes... you can call our name from your heart anytime. We will be in front of your eyes at that very moment."

"To be honest, I don't feel like leaving from here at all. This forest feels like my own home. If I didn't worry about Dadu, I would never leave you... but will we be able to meet again? I don't like incomplete love stories at all...!" Aakanksha became upset at the very thought of being separated from Reevansh. Reevansh could understand her restlessness well. He took her hands in his hands and said lovingly, "Who told you that we won't meet you every day. This moon of the sky will be a witness to our love.... Just understand that whenever the moon knocks in the sky.... in the very next moment, we will be in front of your eyes. You also have a family and we will never ask you to be separated from it. We know the pain of being separated from your family very well. Come on... we will leave you at the edge of the forest. From there you go to your home."

Before leaving, Aakanksha hugged Reevansh again. They both did not want to be away from each other, but the thought of Rajveer ji was holding Aakanksha back.

"The sun is about to set, Aakanksha. Your family must be worried without you." Reevansh separated her from himself.

"Okay. Then see you tomorrow." Aakanksha said with a smile, in response, Reevansh nodded his head in affirmation with a smile.

Reevansh had left Aakanksha at the edge of the forest. From where she left for home. After walking for a long time, she had reached home. But going there, she saw that the door of the house was closed. Somehow she climbed the main gate and went inside the house. Rajveer ji and Jaanhvi were both not present there.

"Where did Dadu go? And Jaanhvi.... is it that Jaanhvi's mom-dad have returned and she has left Dadu alone and gone to her home. Poor Dadu must be worried without me. He didn't want to leave me alone even for a moment and here it has been a full 3 days...!"

There was another door to go inside. Because the door was locked, Aakanksha sat down in front of it. She had been sitting there for some time when Rajveer ji and Jaanhvi also reached there. Seeing Aakanksha safe and sound there, Rajveer ji ran to her and hugged her.

"Akshu! Where did you go... child! Are you okay... did anything happen...!" Rajveer ji hugged her emotionally.

"Dadu! Why are you worrying so much? I am absolutely fine... see for yourself... I am standing in front of you safe and sound." Aakanksha calmed him down.

Rajveer ji composed himself and took both of them inside. As soon as they went inside, Rajveer ji again started asking Aakanksha about the last 3 days, "Akshu! Now you will not lie to me and will tell me everything that happened in these 3 days? You even told Jaanhvi that you have powers, but didn't find it necessary to tell me even once." His annoyance was clearly visible in Rajveer ji's words.

"Jaanhvi's child... no secret can stay in her stomach." Aakanksha glared at Jaanhvi, to which she replied angrily, "Look who's talking Dadu, who knows where she is wandering alone. We don't even want to talk to you. You didn't even think about us once, what would happen to us if you suddenly disappeared like this."

"What happened in the forest, Aakanksha?" Hearing the name of the forest from Rajveer ji's mouth, Aakanksha looked at him in surprise and asked, "Dadu! How do you know that I am in the forest.... and did Jaanhvi tell you about my powers?"

"No! Jaanhvi didn't tell me anything about this! Rather, I already knew that you have some rare powers given by nature. I was just denying this truth until now. But they say that no one can avert destiny. Thank the Rajpurohit ji, whose presence averted such a big danger today. Otherwise, who knows how my child would have fought that evil alone." Knowing so much from Rajveer ji's mouth without telling the truth, Aakanksha was looking at him with wide eyes.

"Dadu! You turned out to be a clairvoyant. Tell me how do you know all this?"

Before Rajveer ji could answer Aakanksha's words, Jaanhvi spoke up, "You know Akshu! After you disappeared, we went to the temple of Kangra. There was a Rajpurohit ji there, who knew everything. He made us do a pooja and a very beautiful sword-like thing came out of that pooja, did it come to you?"

"Dadu! Forget what happened.... now everything is over, right... and we have returned to our normal life. I don't want us to talk about all this and anyway I am quite tired." Aakanksha said, avoiding their words.

"Okay. You take some rest for a while and then come out for dinner later. Once you get out of all this. After that we will go to Kangra again, to meet the Rajpurohit...!" As soon as Rajveer ji finished speaking, Aakanksha started going to her room to rest, so Jaanhvi also followed her.

"Jaanhvi.... you come with me to the kitchen and help me and let Akshu rest for a while. When you both are together, both of your mischief starts again. You both can talk tomorrow." Hearing Rajveer ji's words, Jaanhvi made a face and started going with him.

Aakanksha muttered, pointing towards Jaanhvi in gesture, "We will talk at night and I will tell you everything."

Hearing her words, Jaanhvi nodded her head in affirmation and followed Rajveer ji. As soon as they left, Aakanksha came to her room and lay down for a while. Despite being so tired, sleep was far away from her eyes and she was thinking about Reevansh.

"Reevansh had said that he would come to meet me every day. If I tell Jaanhvi, she will be very happy. Even if I can't tell Dadu about him once, I will definitely introduce Reevansh to Dadu from afar." Thinking about him, Aakanksha fell asleep.

On the other side, Reevansh was sitting alone by the lake in the forest, thinking about Aakanksha. While thinking, his hand went into the water of the lake, and as soon as his hand touched it, the water of the lake dried up.

"How is it possible that the water of the lake dried up by touching our hand... the water of this lake never dried up even with so many demons and dark forces and suddenly.... is the feeling we are having true or a delusion of our mind... now there is no one else here to solve our dilemma... has the princess made a wrong decision in the infatuation of our love."

Worried, Reevansh started leaving from there. There was no one else in the forest besides him.

"It seems that to solve this dilemma, we will have to do what we have never done before." Thinking this, Reevansh's steps moved out of the forests.

It was 9 PM. After returning from the forest, Akanksha was tired and asleep in her room. Outside, Rajveer ji and Jahnvi had prepared dinner together.

"Jahnvi, go and call Akshu," Rajveer ji said while placing the food on the dining table. But the next moment, something occurred to him and he stopped Jahnvi, saying, "No, let it be. She must be very tired. She probably is already asleep by now."

"I'll go and check, Dadu. If she's awake, I'll bring her out. Otherwise, it's okay... she can tell me about the forest tomorrow," Jahnvi said and started walking towards Akanksha's room.

"These two girls, you know... they can't rest until they've told each other everything," Rajveer ji said to himself with a smile. He sat there waiting for them to come.

When Jahnvi went inside the room, she saw that Akanksha was indeed sleeping.

"Look at her... keeping me awake and sleeping soundly here. Some great person has said that it is a sin to wake a sleeping person... but when I've committed so many sins, one small sin won't hurt," smiling, Jahnvi picked up the glass of water kept on the table and poured it on Akanksha's face.

"Rain... Oh, someone save me... it's raining! Jahnvi, get me an umbrella...!" Akanksha woke up startled by the water. Seeing her so flustered, Jahnvi sat beside her laughing and said, "It's not rain, dear, it's going to be a storm. On top of you selling horses here without telling me everything, your Dadu is making me work outside. You merrily left from here. I had to bear Dadu's anger because of you."

"My Dadu doesn't get angry... yes, it's just your actions that make anyone angry, not just Dadu," Akanksha said, wiping her face and putting on her glasses kept nearby, "If I go out and tell Dadu that you woke me up by throwing water on me, you'll be in trouble. I was so tired, have some mercy."

"You also have mercy on me and quickly tell me everything that happened in the forest. Seriously, butterflies are fluttering in my stomach from curiosity. I don't know anything... we'll come to the room after dinner and you'll tell me everything in detail."

"Okay, fine. I also don't find peace until I tell you everything. Come on, leave this drama and let's go have dinner. Dadu must be waiting," Akanksha said and got up from the bed. Jahnvi also came out behind her.

Seeing them together, Rajveer ji said with a smile, "Finally, Jahnvi, you managed to wake her up. Akshu, you can eat later, first tell her everything. Otherwise, she won't let you sleep even at night."

"Dadu... why don't you also come with us tonight to listen to Akshu's forest trip stories? We should also know how much she enjoyed there," hearing Jahnvi's words, Rajveer ji replied with a laugh, "No, kids! You both do all this talking. I'm going to sleep peacefully today because after so many days, my Akshu is with me. Come on, let's eat together now."

Rajveer ji, Akanksha, and Jahnvi started eating together. While eating, Akanksha started remembering the time when Rivansh had plucked fruits for her when she was hungry.

"Last time when I was hungry, Rivansh brought fruits for me from the forest. What must he be doing in the forest right now? It hasn't even been a day since I separated from him, and I miss him so much. Is he also missing me?" Thinking about Rivansh, a smile appeared on Akanksha's face.

Rajveer ji was busy eating, but when Jahnvi noticed Akanksha's face, she nudged her elbow and asked softly, "Looks like you must have definitely met someone in the forest, thinking about whom Madam has a smile on her lips. That's why I was wondering how you're looking so fresh despite being tired. Who is he?"

"Not now... I'll tell you at night," Akanksha replied, controlling her smile.

They were eating when suddenly there was a terrible noise of animals crying outside. Their crying sound was so intense that it could pierce anyone's ears.

"The crying of animals is inauspicious! Now who knows what kind of crisis it's indicating," Rajveer ji said worriedly.

"There's nothing like that, Dadu. It could also be that animals are fighting outside or maybe this noise is not their crying sound but some symbolic sound to call each other. Don't worry about small things," Akanksha said, seeing him worried.

"Okay, fine. God willing, that's how it is... so much has happened in the past few days that now I'm scared of even these small signs. Go inside and sleep when you guys are done eating. Don't stay up late at night. I'm done eating. I'll walk in the garden for a while and then come inside," saying this, Rajveer ji put down his plate and went for a walk outside.

The noise of animals crying outside was increasing. After Akanksha explained, Rajveer ji dismissed it as just his mind's delusion and forgot about it.

Rivansh's feet had stepped outside the forest for the first time in so many years. And as soon as he came out, nature started giving a sign of this. The moon was overhead in the sky. As soon as he came out, his eyes fell on the moon.

"Today, I've seen you after so long..! Akanksha... I promised you that I would come to meet you every day... but I don't know why a strange fear has taken root in my heart that you didn't do the right thing by saving me. I've never felt so restless before... is this the fear of losing you or an apprehension of some evil.... whatever it is, I will find out the truth...." thinking this, Rivansh started moving forward quickly. While walking, he had come quite far.

When he saw many mountains and caves in front of him, he stopped at one place and closing his eyes, he started feeling something in front of the doors of those caves. Standing in front of each door, he muttered something to himself and then went and stood in front of another cave. He had repeated this process many times, but every time he only met with failure.

"This is not it either." Rivansh shouted in anger, "I must be the first magical power who doesn't even know the way to the gates of the netherworld... I haven't even stepped into the netherworld even once in so many years, maybe that's why I'm not able to go there. But to find out the truth, I have to go there. Until I go there.... the restlessness of my mind will not go away." After repeating the process in front of all the caves, disappointed, Rivansh returned towards the forests of Shimla.

Even though he could not reach inside the netherworld, but just from the sound of his footsteps, the god of evil sitting in the netherworld got an idea of him.

"So, evil has started pulling you towards itself. Sooner or later, you will reach your right place, Demon King! Just wait for the specific auspicious time, the netherworld gate will open for you too. And the day your feet fall here, you will become one of us." The devil sitting on the throne was smiling mysteriously. Even while sitting there, his eyes were on those caves where Rivansh had gone a little while ago.

Blue marks of his feet were made in front of the door of one of those caves. Those marks made there were proof that it was the door to the netherworld, but why it did not open for Rivansh, it was still a mystery.... which no one knew except the devil sitting on the throne.

After walking for a while, Rajveer ji had returned to his room and went to sleep. Akanksha and Jahnvi had also come to the room after eating food. As soon as they came inside, Akanksha closed the door.

"Now will you tell me who you were thinking about that made you smile so much? You never get so happy thinking about me," Jahnvi said, sprawling on the bed.

Akanksha also came and lay down next to her and closing her eyes, she started feeling Rivansh's face.

"Do you know who I met in the forest?"

"You're getting so happy as if you met Tom Cruise in the forest," Jahnvi interrupted her.

"If not Tom Cruise, then he was no less than a prince.... he was indeed a prince. Prince Rivansh..! His eyes...!"

Before Akanksha could complete her sentence, Jahnvi sat up in shock and shouted in surprise, "What did you say? Prince Rivansh..? Is that the same one we read about in the book. That prince of Bilaspur, who came back from abroad after studying and did some evil practices with his friends. He's still alive? But how is this possible?" Jahnvi's eyes widened in surprise.

"Will you listen to me completely first? Now sit quietly and listen to all my words carefully. I don't know how I reached the forest that night. As soon as I went there, I first met Rivansh. The things written in that book were true.... but incomplete truth....! That night the evil practices were done not by Rivansh but by his four deceitful friends, who were written about in the book."

"So, vampires really exist? Rivansh is still alive, it means he is also a vampire..." Jahnvi asked in surprise.

"Unfortunately, Rivansh is also a vampire, but it's really not his fault, Jahnvi. He was cheated that night, because of which he is forced to live this cursed life."

"And what did you do in the forest? I mean to say, Rajpurohit ji had said that your birth and these powers are for some purpose? That divine weapon had reached you, then did you kill all the vampires with it?"

Akanksha replied, "Yes, I killed all the evil vampires in the forest.... but not Rivansh.... Jahnvi, he's not evil. And.... and while living with him, I.... I fell in love...!"

Before Akanksha could finish her sentence, Jahnvi spoke again in the middle, "You shouldn't have left him alive... Akshu, he's not human. We read in the book that any vampire needs the blood of another creature to stay alive. His survival will bring a new disaster on earth."

"You're worrying unnecessarily. Rivansh has promised me that he won't drink the blood of any creature."

"And if he doesn't do that, then how will he fill his stomach? You've gone crazy.... a vampire and a human love story, it only looks good in stories or fairy tales, not in real life.... I don't understand how to react?" Jahnvi got upset listening to her words. Akanksha had not expected this at all.

"You're the only one with whom I can share everything. Now don't break my heart by saying all this," there were expressions of sadness on Akanksha's face.

Jahnvi said to improve her mood, "Hmm.... I wish everything goes well in the future. Akshu, you're my best friend and I don't want anything bad to happen to you. Rivansh... we don't know what he's like."

"You don't know, but I know, right? My powers know. They can feel that Rivansh is good."

"Okay, what does your prince Rivansh look like," Jahnvi said, teasing Akanksha.

"That's all.... I can draw and show him to you right now. Otherwise, he is very handsome.... and his hazel green eyes.... oh my god.... can make anyone crazy. Do you know how he talks," Akanksha said, trying to speak like Rivansh, "Princess.... I love you very much. And you will see.... I will always keep you happy."

Jahnvi and Akanksha both burst out laughing at Akanksha's imitation of Rivansh. To show Jahnvi Rivansh's face, Akanksha quickly drew his face on a paper.

"Oh wow! He really is very handsome...!" Jahnvi said, looking at Rivansh's drawing.

"Yes, he is very handsome, but now we should go to sleep. It's 2 o'clock at night. If Dadu sees us talking at this time, you're going to get scolded."

"Okay, okay, fine. That's enough.... from tomorrow we will also join our studies. I have also missed my classes because of you. Come on, good night...!" Turning off the lights, Akanksha and Jahnvi went to sleep.

Despite the darkness in the room, there was a strange green light spread there.... which was coming out of Rivansh's picture, from his green eyes, which Akanksha had made.
