A wedding was taking place at the Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur. The entire palace was beautifully decorated, but there weren't many guests. This made one thing clear: the wedding wasn't for ordinary people, and not everyone was allowed to attend.
In the center of the palace's main hall was the wedding mandap. This was the wedding of Dhruv Singhania, the eldest son of the Singhania family, who owned India's largest designing company.
Dhruv Singhania, 27 years old, 6 feet 3 inches tall, with a fit, muscular body and deep black eyes. No one knew that a handsome businessman like Dhruv Singhania was getting married in such a private function.
Next to him sat a girl dressed as a bride. She looked like an empress in a crimson red outfit, embroidered with real gold and silver, and heavy real jewelry. But her face was covered by a veil, so no one could see her beautiful face yet.
In the middle of the wedding, a woman smiled and said, "Grishma, despite being so modern, she respects our family's traditions. This shows that she will keep our house together." This was Ratna Singhania, Dhruv's mother. She wore a light pink saree with a long white shawl on one side, and real pearl jewelry to match.
Ratna was talking to Dhruv's mother-in-law, Sarita ji. She nodded with a smile, without saying anything.
Everyone seemed happy at this wedding, but behind the veil, the bride's face was covered in beads of sweat. She mumbled to herself, "Where are you? You should be here at the pheras today, not me. If they find out that I'm sitting here in the bride's attire instead of you, there will be chaos. You said you would come by the time the pheras started, but why haven't you come yet..." Someone else was in the bride's attire instead of Grishma. Because of the veil, everyone thought Dhruv was marrying his fiancé, Grishma Mehta.
The girl was lost in her thoughts when the Pandit ji said, "Now, lift the bride's veil and apply the sindoor to her. Before that, pray to God for your happiness and a blissful life."
Dhruv folded his hands and closed his eyes to pray. When he opened his eyes, Ratna ji handed him the sindoor box.
At the same time, the girl's heart was beating so fast, it felt like it would burst out of her chest. She thought to herself, "Dhruv will lift my veil to apply the sindoor, and then everyone will find out that I'm here instead of Grishma. Oh God, what do I do now?"
Just as Dhruv was about to lift Tara's veil before applying the sindoor, his grandmother, Gayatri ji, said, "Hey Dhruv, don't look at the bride's face. Apply the sindoor from under the veil itself."
Obeying her, Dhruv reached out and applied the sindoor to her hair parting. After that, he put on the mangalsutra.
"From today, you both are husband and wife." Dhruv's attention broke as soon as the Pandit ji said this.
Dhruv looked at the bride, whom he thought was Grishma, and said to himself, "Thank God, everything happened without any danger. Now I will be able to keep you safe from that person and my family too."
Unknowingly, Dhruv had married another girl.
What was happening to that girl? She couldn't understand anything. Dhruv's mother, Ratna ji, took her to a room, which was decorated for Dhruv and her.
"I am now entrusting my Dhruv to you. Always love him. Even though he yells at everyone from the front, he has a very good heart." Ratna ji said, caressing her head.
After this, she left from there. Dhruv hadn't come inside yet. Thinking about the moment to come, there were tears in her eyes. She was trembling with fear.
"How will I face all this? They gave me so much affection in such a short time, and I betrayed them. Why couldn't you come, Grishma? Because of you, I will fall in everyone's eyes today..." There was sadness on her face.
She didn't get a chance to think much when the door of the room opened. She saw that Dhruv had come inside. There was happiness on his face. As soon as he came in, he first closed the door of the room and sat down next to her. She had a long veil on her face, but her truth was about to be revealed in the next moment.
Unaware of the truth, Dhruv came into the room, and she started shrinking inside. Thinking about what was going to happen in the next moment, her heart was beating fast.
Dhruv came and sat next to her. There was a slight smile on his face.
Dhruv thought Grishma was still in the veil. To make her feel comfortable, he said, "I didn't know you took these rituals so seriously. Now there is no one here, and Mom said I can see you after the wedding. Then why this veil between us?"
That girl didn't answer him. There were tears in her eyes. "I don't know how I will face them? How will I explain why I am sitting here today instead of Grishma?" she said to herself.
"Is anyone hiding in this room?" Dhruv asked and started looking around. When he was satisfied that there was no one in the room, he moved closer to her and gently lifted her veil.
He saw that there was another girl in front of him instead of Grishma, who had closed her eyes tightly in fear.
Seeing her, Dhruv's words got stuck in his throat. He was trying to speak somehow. "N... no... this can't be. Behind the veil... you... it can't be you. I... I can't marry you." In the next moment, Dhruv grabbed the girl's shoulders in anger and shouted loudly, "How dare you, Tara! You... you can't ruin my life."
Dhruv still couldn't believe that the girl he had met a few days ago, whom he strongly disliked, could marry him.
Dhruv Singhania was unknowingly married to someone he had met just a few days prior. Her name was Tara. Looking at Tara, he was cursing the moment he had first met her. Tara was in a similar state. She was also thinking that if only she had never come to Rajasthan, this accidental marriage wouldn't have happened.

A few days ago... (Flashback Scene)
The Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur was closed to visitors. Despite that, the entire staff was working tirelessly to prepare for the arrival of someone special.
It was about 5:00 in the evening, and the hotel manager, Mr. Ram Singh Sisodia, had lined up the hotel staff to review the preparations.
He was giving instructions to everyone in a very professional manner. "Although Umaid Bhawan Palace doesn't need any extra preparation to showcase its grandeur, there are very few occasions when we prepare separately to impress someone." Ram Singh said, addressing them all.
"Yes Sir... everything is done." A boy replied.
"The owner of Swarna Ghar, Mr. Dhruv Singhania, should be arriving shortly. If Umaid Bhawan is known for its grandeur, then the jewelry made in 'Swarna Ghar' is also the pride of our Rajasthan, which is famous all over the country." Mr. Sisodia said, and just then his gaze went towards the front. A humble expression came on his face, and he said in a low voice, "Mr. Singhania has arrived. I am going to welcome him. You all take care of the rest."
The boy nodded in agreement. Mr. Sisodia smiled and moved forward.
Dhruv Singhania was coming from the front, followed by his four burly bodyguards. Dhruv Singhania's jewelry business was quite famous not only in Rajasthan but also outside. He was the owner of the jewelry house named 'Swarna Ghar' in Jaipur. Light fair complexion, tall stature, light black eyes, and a well-built body, thanks to a good workout in the gym. He looked just like a prince. A branded black suit and expensive glasses on his eyes made his look even classier.
"Ghani Khamma, Mr. Singhania." Mr. Sisodia said humbly, joining both his hands.
"Khamma Ghani." Dhruv replied with a smile, joining both his hands.
Mr. Sisodia put a garland around Dhruv's neck, and then he was welcomed in the traditional Rajasthani way.
After that, Mr. Sisodia said, "Let me show you all the preparations. Everything has been arranged, from the venue to the wedding planner. Complete preparations have been made for the wedding in the traditional Rajasthani way."
"Wait a second... I have only booked the hall for the wedding. I have hired the wedding planner, and the wedding will be done in the Rajasthani way as well as the Gujarati way." Dhruv replied.
"I thought you would prefer to have the wedding in the traditional Rajasthani way. 'Swarna Ghar' is famous for its traditions, so we thought that traditions would also be strictly followed in your family." Mr. Sisodia said in surprise.
"What you are saying is not wrong, Mr. Sisodia... but the girl I am going to marry is not from Rajasthan, she is from Gujarat. Now we cannot underestimate anyone's culture, can we?" Dhruv said softly.
Mr. Sisodia smiled and nodded, and started showing him the entire palace. Dhruv was also telling him his requirements for the wedding.
Mr. Sisodia was very impressed by his nature. Speaking every word with complete grace, seeing simplicity and so much experience at a young age, Mr. Sisodia, like others, was very impressed with Dhruv's attitude.
"If you find any shortcomings, please let me know. We have tried our best to do everything well." Mr. Sisodia said.
"Everything is really very nice, Mr. Sisodia. I don't want much change... but I want my fiancée, Grishma, to see all this once. If she wants some changes, then you can do it accordingly." Dhruv replied in a composed tone.
Mr. Sisodia smiled slightly and said, "Yes, definitely... Now that you have liked everything, she will also like it. Sir, a small dinner party has been arranged for you after this."
After showing him the palace, a dinner was arranged for Dhruv.
"Thanks for this. Grishma should be arriving soon. We have decided to stay here at the hotel tonight. Please book two rooms." Dhruv said.
Hearing about Grishma and Dhruv staying there together before the wedding, Mr. Sisodia was shocked for a moment, but then when he asked to book two rooms, he said, "Good to know that you still uphold the honor of your traditions and values."
Dhruv did not reply to his words and just smiled.
"Shall we go for dinner?" Mr. Sisodia asked.
"Grishma should be arriving soon. If you don't mind, we can wait for her." Dhruv said. He spoke very little and politely to outsiders. As per his habit, Dhruv was replying to Mr. Sisodia in measured words.
"Yes, definitely..." Mr. Sisodia said.
"I am going out to the garden. I will call you when Grishma arrives." Saying this, Dhruv came to the palace garden.
He was pacing back and forth, waiting for Grishma. After waiting for a long time, when she didn't come, he called her.
"Where are you, Grishma? I have been waiting for you for the last half an hour." Dhruv said as soon as he picked up Grishma's call.
"Sorry baby, I am just reaching. I had planned some surprise for you. That's why I got late." Grishma replied.
"Well, I have also prepared a surprise... but that's when you reach here. Please come quickly, I am getting bored alone." Dhruv said in a bored tone.
"I am coming in 10 minutes." Grishma said and cut the call.
Dhruv was about to keep his phone after talking to her when he received a call.
"But so late at night? I had asked her to come tomorrow, right." Annoyance was evident in Dhruv's words.
"Yes sir, but the distance between Gujarat and Rajasthan is quite far. She had left during the day, but it got late by the time she reached. Then I found out from your secretary that you have come to Umaid Bhawan Palace, so I asked her to go there too." A girl's voice came from the other end of the call.
"Okay, fine. I will see. But you have explained her work to her, haven't you?" Dhruv said, a little irritated.
"Yes sir... she will be with you 24 hours. She will take care of everything, from your wedding shopping to everything else." The girl said.
Dhruv nodded in agreement to her words and cut the call. Dhruv was still eagerly waiting for Grishma, but at the same time, he was also a little worried because of that call.
Dhruv was about to leave from there when he bumped into someone in a hurry. He saw a girl standing in front of him, wearing a long white kurta over blue jeans and a colorful scarf around her neck. She had long earrings in her ears, which looked like they were bought from a fair. The girl was fair in appearance, about 5 feet 4 inches tall, and thin. She was about 23 years old. Her slightly curly hair was touching her waist. Even in normal dress and without makeup, she looked very beautiful.
Before Dhruv could apologize for this mistake made in haste, the girl grabbed his head and banged it hard against her head once again.

Dhruv was about to leave from there when he accidentally bumped into someone. He saw a girl standing in front, wearing long white kurta on blue jeans and a colorful scarf around her neck. She had long earrings in her ears, which looked like they were bought from a fair. The girl was fair looking, about 5 feet 4 inches tall and thin. She was around 23 years old. °°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°
Standing in front of Umaid Bhawan Palace, Dhruv was waiting for his fiancé, Grishma, to arrive. In a hurry, he rushed out and bumped into a girl.
Before Dhruv could say anything, the girl bumped her head against his again.
Annoyed by her action, Dhruv said angrily, "Are you mad? What the hell have you done...?" Dhruv didn't get angry easily, but the girl's action was quite something.
"So much English all at once? We probably don't even learn that much in class. Can you please speak in Hindi? Or speak a little slower, so I can understand you?" the girl replied, holding her head.
"Why did you bump my head with yours again?" Dhruv said, irritated.
"Oh... that's because I heard in my childhood that if your head bumps into someone, you should bump it again," the girl said with a slight laugh.
"And the logic behind doing that?" Dhruv asked, surprised.
"If we don't do that, horns grow on our heads. I can still manage with a dupatta, but you won't look good with horns," the girl replied.
Dhruv was stunned by her words, and there was anger on his face.
"I don't know which school you studied in, where you were taught all this. I wasn't looking ahead, but you could have looked and walked, right? Can't you see?" Dhruv was still yelling at the girl instead of admitting his mistake.
Hearing him, the girl's eyes widened, and she put both hands on her waist and said, "Wow... that's right. Don't admit your own mistake and yell at the other person. What if my memory had been lost because of your bumping into me like that?"
"Whether your memory is lost because of me bumping into you once or not, it would definitely be lost because of bumping into me a second time. It seems you must have forgotten to bump your head after bumping into someone once, that's why horns have grown on your head, but you can't see them," Dhruv shouted. The Dhruv who was speaking so simply and politely a while ago now had anger on his face. The girl had irritated him badly in their very first meeting.
"Don't think you're too oversmart. I understand everything," the girl replied with full attitude.
They were standing there arguing when a large black car stopped there. A girl came out of the car. She was fair, of average height, and a well-maintained 25-year-old. She looked exactly like a model. She was wearing a red one-shoulder dress. She looked good with matching heels, a branded bag, and diamond accessories.
"What's going on here?" she asked, going to them.
Seeing the girl, Dhruv breathed a sigh of relief and said, "Thank God, baby, you came. Otherwise, if I had stayed with this crazy girl for 5 more minutes, I would have gone crazy myself." Dhruv hugged her after finishing his sentence. It was Grishma, whom Dhruv was going to marry.
Grishma separated from Dhruv and said, "But who is this girl?"
"I don't know her. I was coming out while waiting for you, and she bumped into me, and since then, she has been talking nonsense," Dhruv said, irritated.
Grishma looked at him questioningly, so the girl smiled, extended her hand, and introduced herself, "Hello... my name is Tara."
"Do you belong to the staff here?" Grishma asked. "Do you know who you are arguing with?"
As Grishma said this, there was a proud smile on Dhruv's face as well.
But in the very next moment, Tara replied innocently, "No, I don't know who he is?" Tara's reply made Dhruv even angrier.
"You... you don't know me?" Dhruv asked, surprised. He had never heard that before.
"Do you have trouble hearing as well as seeing? I said I don't know who you are," Tara replied quite rudely.
"You are currently standing in front of Dhruv Singhania, the owner of India's largest jewelry house." As soon as Dhruv introduced himself, Tara gave a big smile and said, "Oh, so you are Dhruv Singhania. I have traveled all the way from Ahmedabad to Rajasthan for 8 hours and 30 minutes to meet you. I wish I could say that I am very happy to meet you."
"Dhruv, who is this girl and why has she come to meet you?" Grishma asked, surprised.
Before Dhruv could answer, Tara replied to Grishma's question, "Don't you know, he has hired a wedding planner from Ahmedabad to surprise his future wife. I have come here from there, from 'Dream Wedding Events'."
"Here, ruined my surprise. I don't know who sent this girl here. If she stays here at my wedding, she will ruin everything," Dhruv muttered softly, holding his head.
"Oh, so you were talking about this surprise. Baby, I am so happy for this... Mom and Dad will be very happy when they find out too." There was a smile on Grishma's face after hearing Tara's words, and she quickly hugged Dhruv.
Seeing them getting close to each other, Tara closed her eyes with both hands. Dhruv was glaring at her angrily. Tara had ruined the surprise that he had been preparing for the last 1 month in a single moment.
After hugging for a while, Grishma separated from Dhruv and said, looking at Tara, "Look, now that you have come, take good care of everything. My Dhruv's surprise should not be ruined."
"Yes, yes madam, definitely. From now on, I will be with him for 24 hours," Tara replied.
"Is it not enough that I have been tolerating her for the last 24 minutes, that I should be with her 24/7. It's quite late. Your pickup will be first thing in the morning, Miss Tara," Dhruv said angrily in his mind, looking at Tara.
"Let's go inside now. Grishma, we will stay here tonight. Mr. Sisodia has arranged dinner for us for the time being. Tara, you can join us if you want..." Dhruv had not even finished his sentence when Tara quickly said, "Yes, yes, why not. I am really very tired after traveling for the last 8 and a half hours. When you both are staying here, please arrange a room for me too. By the way, this palace is very beautiful." Tara finished her sentence and started moving forward ahead of them both.
"She is so cute, isn't she..." Grishma said, watching Tara go.
Dhruv made a face and agreed with her. Tara was walking while looking at the entire palace. Dhruv and Grishma were coming behind her, talking. Dhruv's attention was still fixed on Tara.
"Everything was planned so well, but this girl ruined everything. First my surprise and then the plan to spend time with Grishma," Dhruv thought.
Suddenly Grishma held his hand and said, "Where is your attention? I have been asking you since when you planned all this and how."
"I will tell you about all this later," Dhruv replied rudely because he was in a bad mood.
"I can understand, your mood has gone off because of Tara telling like this. But still, I felt very good knowing about this that you thought about me and planned the wedding according to that. Now leave your anger and fix your mood," Grishma said with a slight smile.
Dhruv gave a small smile after hearing Grishma's words. Tara had disappeared from their sight. She went ahead and met Mr. Sisodia.
He looked at Tara and asked, "Are you with Mr. Dhruv Singhania?"
"Yes, he is coming too," Tara said and went to see the royal family portrait in front of her.
"Mr. Singhania has a very good choice. This is his fiancé... take good care of her," Mr. Sisodia said to his assistant. He had mistaken Tara for Dhruv's fiancé.
After entering the palace, Tara started wandering around, looking at it. Meanwhile, Mr. Sisodia and his assistant, who were with him, assumed that Tara was Dhruv's fiancée.
"Are all the arrangements for the dinner done, Jeevan?" Mr. Sisodia whispered.
"Yes, sir... Madam has arrived, but Mr. Singhania is still outside," Jeevan replied.
Mr. Sisodia said, "He will be here soon. In the meantime, why don't you take her to the dining table? I'll wait for Mr. Dhruv Singhania."
Obeying Mr. Sisodia, his assistant, Jeevan, went to Tara. "Madam, please come with me until sir arrives," he said as he approached her.
"This palace is truly beautiful," Tara said, looking around. "By the way, where were you asking me to go?"
"Upstairs, for dinner," Jeevan replied.
Tara agreed and went with Jeevan to the second floor. Their dinner was arranged in the palace's dining hall.
"Ma'am, traditional Rajasthani and Gujarati dishes have been served. I hope you like all the arrangements," Jeevan said like a professional.
"Wow..." Tara said excitedly, "I heard correctly, Rajasthan doesn't skimp on hospitality. Seems like you knew in advance that a special guest was coming from Gujarat."
"Yes, ma'am... Dhruv sir had already mentioned that his fiancée is from Gujarat. Sir cares a lot about you. He has been pacing back and forth in the garden, waiting for you." Jeevan was telling Tara everything.
Hearing his words, Tara understood that they were mistaken about her. The smile on her face vanished in an instant, and she replied, "I think you have a misunderstanding. I am not the girl Mr. Dhruv Singhania is going to marry. She is downstairs with him."
"Then who are you?" Jeevan asked in surprise.
"I am Tara. I was sent here by the wedding planner for the wedding arrangements," Tara introduced herself completely.
"I'm sorry, we misunderstood you. Let's go from here and tell sir everything downstairs, otherwise she might say something in front of Dhruv sir," Jeevan said nervously.
Tara agreed and started walking with him. Just then, she thought, "I spoiled Dhruv Singhania's surprise downstairs. It was clear from his face how bad he felt."
Jeevan noticed that Tara was standing there instead of walking with him. He turned towards her and said, "What happened, ma'am?"
"Can you help me?" Tara asked hesitantly.
"I don't understand," Jeevan said in surprise.
Tara explained everything to him, "I know that the palace is very beautiful. Every corner of it is special in itself, but I saw Dhruv sir's fiancée. She is quite modern. Can we change these arrangements a bit? I don't think she will like all this very much."
Hearing her words, Jeevan thought for a moment and then asked, "Do you think this will really work?"
Tara agreed. Mr. Sisodia had also given him the same instructions: no effort should be spared in welcoming Dhruv Singhania. So, without thinking too much, he immediately agreed.
"We don't have much time. How will you manage in such a short time?" Jeevan asked.
"Don't worry about that. You don't know Tara yet," Tara said. She looked around; there were candlestick holders everywhere for decoration.
"If we light all the candles here, the beauty of this hall can be enhanced even more. But that will take a lot of time..." Tara said.
"No, ma'am, these are all electronics. They will all light up together with the press of a button," Jeevan replied.
Hearing Jeevan's words, Tara's face lit up. Then she looked up and saw a large chandelier.
"Do one thing, turn off the rest of the lights and light all those candles... and yes, this chandelier should also be lit," Tara was giving instructions to Jeevan. Working in an event company, she had learned quite a bit.
Jeevan agreed and called to have the lighting set up. The hall was now looking even more beautiful. Tara, with Jeevan's help, placed the table under the chandelier.
"Thank you so much, ma'am... Sir often insists on doing everything in a traditional way," Jeevan said.
Tara looked at everything once again and said, "Everything else is fine, but go to the kitchen and have some more dishes made that are different. Dhruv sir must be eating Rajasthani food every day at home, and Madam eats Gujarati daily. Have something else made that can be prepared quickly."
Jeevan ran to the kitchen staff and got to work on what Tara had told him. After he left, Tara began to make the remaining things even better.
__________
Dhruv and Greeshma were still downstairs. Dhruv stayed there because he was in a bad mood. Greeshma was trying to cheer him up.
"I just don't like this one thing about you. It's not necessary for things to always go according to our plans," Greeshma said, caressing his hand.
"But I had arranged everything with so much effort, and she ruined it in a moment... Never mind... First, I'll call Miss Gupta and ask her to send another assistant," Dhruv said dejectedly.
"Hey... Whatever mistake she made was unintentional. You can't punish her so severely for it. Who knows, the poor thing might even be fired for it," Greeshma tried to reason with him.
"Okay, I'll tell them not to fire her, but I can't tolerate that girl around me for even a minute," Dhruv replied sternly.
He was still in a foul mood. Greeshma was trying her best to persuade him, but Dhruv's mood didn't improve so easily.
Dhruv didn't go inside. That's why Mr. Sisodia came out to call him.
Seeing Greeshma with Dhruv, he asked in surprise, "Who is this?"
"Who is this, you mean, Mr. Sisodia? I told you that my fiancée was coming here. This is Greeshma," Dhruv replied curtly.
"If she is your fiancée, then who was that girl who went upstairs a little while ago?" Mr. Ram Singh Sisodia was still surprised.
"Maybe he's talking about Tara. She's with us too," Greeshma replied.
"Oh, okay, she's with you. Let's go then. Dinner should be eaten on time," Mr. Sisodia said.
Dhruv was about to say no to Mr. Sisodia, but Greeshma had already sensed the situation, and before Dhruv could speak, she replied, "Yes, you go ahead, we'll both come behind you."
Mr. Sisodia started going inside. As soon as he left, Dhruv immediately said, "You know that once my mood is spoiled, it doesn't improve quickly. I don't feel like going inside at all. Let's go back from here."
"Absolutely not, Mr. Dhruv Singhania..." she said, gently pulling Dhruv's nose, "Your mood may be bad, but I'm very hungry."
Without waiting for Dhruv's response, Greeshma started going inside. Dhruv was forced to follow her.
Mr. Ram Singh Sisodia sent them both to the upper floor together. It took them a little while to come, and in the meantime, Jeevan and Tara had made good preparations upstairs.
Hearing the sound of someone coming up the stairs, Jeevan said, "Tara ji, it seems like they have arrived."
"Let's go out quickly then," Tara said and came out of the hall with Jeevan.
Tara went to roam around the entire palace with Jeevan. From behind, when Dhruv and Greeshma went into the hall, both were quite impressed by the arrangement.
"It feels much better after seeing this. Otherwise, that girl spared no effort in spoiling things," Dhruv said as he entered.
"Forget about her now. We should enjoy the moment we have now. It's just like a dream," Greeshma said in a lost voice.
Both of them had seen the table. The food that was placed there also impressed them quite a bit.
"To be honest, I never thought that Mr. Sisodia could make such good arrangements. If I had known earlier, I wouldn't have hired a wedding planner at all," Dhruv said.
"Yes, it seems like everything is perfect in this hall," Greeshma said, quite impressed after seeing it.
After eating, both of them had light-hearted conversations. Because of spending time together, Dhruv's mood had improved a bit now.
"It's getting late, Dhruv, now we should go to sleep," Greeshma looked at the time on her mobile screen; it was 11:00 PM.
"Yes, okay. I had arranged for both of us to stay here. See you in the morning," Dhruv lightly kissed Greeshma's forehead. "Don't worry, I'll prepare even more surprises like this for you, and no one will spoil them."
"I'll be waiting," Greeshma said with a smile.
After saying good night to each other, both went to sleep. As soon as he entered his room, Dhruv called the wedding planner.
"Hello, Miss Gupta... I didn't like the assistant you sent at all. I don't want you to fire her, but that girl will not stay with me at all. Please call her back," Dhruv said and cut the call.
"Good riddance. I wish I never have to see your face again," Dhruv said to himself and turned off the light and went to sleep.
Mr. Sisodia had also arranged for Tara's stay. After touring the palace, she had dinner with Jeevan and then went to sleep.
The next morning, Dhruv went to meet Mr. Sisodia with Grishma. Jeevan was also present with them.
"I hope sir, you and your fiancé have liked everything here," Mr. Sisodia said formally.
"We didn't get a chance to talk because it was late at night. You decorated the hall very well, although there was no need for it," Dhruv said.
Extending his point, Grishma also said, "And if I talk about the food, it was truly amazing."
"Yes, you know how much we value our traditions. I had made preparations accordingly. Otherwise, if people don't like it, we can make changes for their happiness," Mr. Sisodia explained. He was very happy to see a positive response from Dhruv.
"Dhruv has already hired a wedding planner for the wedding, but after seeing the arrangements last night, I am truly very impressed. I want you to handle the main functions of the wedding," Grishma said happily.
Mr. Sisodia was still unaware that Tara and Jeevan had changed everything there. Jeevan understood everything. The praise was not for the arrangements made by Mr. Sisodia, but for Tara's hard work.
"Thank you..." Jeevan said in the middle, "But we did not make the arrangements you are talking about."
Hearing him, Mr. Sisodia along with Dhruv and Grishma were shocked. Just then Tara also came there.
Jeevan pointed towards Tara and said, "Our arrangements were quite simple, while Tara ji wanted your dinner to be a little special, so she herself made all those preparations," Jeevan explained.
"Did you like it?" Tara asked happily.
"Yes, Tara, everything was very beautiful. Now I understand that Dhruv's choice was absolutely perfect. You did everything very well," Grishma replied.
"Yes, I spoiled your surprise last night because of me. I saw how their faces were sullen. I know it's my fault, but I didn't do it on purpose. My actions upset both of your moods, so I thought, why don't I do something that would make both of you happy," Tara said quickly.
Looking at her, a slight smile appeared on Mr. Sisodia's face. "We would also like to thank you. You don't work for our palace, yet you thought of improving the work here," Mr. Sisodia said to Tara.
"The effort was quite good, Miss Tara, but now nothing can be done. My face was sullen last night, but it seems that the same fate is about to befall you," Dhruv said in a stern voice. He did not like Tara being so friendly.
Tara could not understand the meaning of his words. Before she could ask anything, she received a call from the wedding planner.
"Tara... nothing can be done with you. You just mess things up wherever you go. I warned you before leaving that this is your last chance. If I get any complaints from here as well, I will fire you from the job," Tara's boss, Miss Gupta, was saying from the other side.
Hearing her, Tara's face fell. She glared at Dhruv.
"Looks like the fate has befallen," Dhruv said, raising his eyebrows as he looked at Tara.
"What have you done, Dhruv... I told you not to..." Grishma said, shaking her head.
Mr. Ram Singh Sisodia and Jeevan were looking at each other. They did not expect such behavior from Dhruv.
Tara was saddened as such a big project slipped from her hands, and her eyes began to moisten with grief. She said softly, "Okay ma'am, I'll come."
"Whether you come or not, it doesn't matter to me. You can no longer work in my agency. Come and collect your salary," Saying this, Miss Gupta cut the call.
Tara looked at Dhruv angrily. He had a smile on his face. Looking at Tara's face, everyone felt that she would start shouting at everyone in anger, but she said nothing and went upstairs to bring her bag.
"Dhruv, this was totally unexpected, especially from you..." Grishma expressed her displeasure.
"We'll talk later, Mr. Singhania... Jeevan, come with me," Mr. Ram Singh Sisodia did not consider it necessary to speak between the two of them. He left from there with Jeevan.
"I did not expect this at all from Mr. Singhania. I understand that the girl might have made a mistake, but to get her fired? Is depriving someone of their livelihood a good deed?" Mr. Sisodia said after leaving from there. He was talking to him in typical Rajasthani language.
"I am also feeling very bad, sir... I don't know what must have happened between these two, but last night Tara, without thinking about her own gain or loss, was working so hard to improve Mr. Singhania's mood. She was a guest in our palace. She could have explained everything to the people working here as well, but she did everything with her own hands. This clearly shows how hardworking the girl is," Jeevan placed the entire matter of the night in front of Mr. Sisodia. He did not get a chance to talk to him at night. He had understood Tara well in a short time.
"I'll see if anything can be done..." While speaking, Mr. Sisodia suddenly stopped. He saw Tara passing by there with her luggage.
There were tears in her eyes. While leaving, she came to Jeevan and Mr. Sisodia.
"Your palace is truly very beautiful to see. I have never seen such a beautiful place before. Thank you for the hospitality. I'll take my leave... Namaste," Tara said in a heavy voice, joining her hands together, and started leaving from there with her luggage.
"Listen..." Mr. Sisodia called her from behind. "If your family allows you to stay here, you can work here."
Hearing him, Tara turned towards him. She smiled and said, "Thank you for your respect... but I will find work that suits me."
Saying this, Tara left from there. After she left, Mr. Sisodia said, "She is a very self-respecting girl. She will go far."
"I'll go say bye to her," Jeevan said and started following Tara.
Outside, Grishma and Dhruv were standing. There were no expressions on Dhruv's face, while it was clear on Grishma's face that she was not happy with this act of Dhruv.
Grishma came to Tara and said in a low voice, "Don't worry, I will convince Dhruv. Don't go back to Gujarat."
"There is no point in that now, ma'am. He has fired me from the job," Tara replied.
"He has fired you, so what? Your arrangements were very good. I liked you too. You do one thing, roam around Jodhpur, eat Raj Kachori and Dal-Baati-Churma here. I'll meet you here at the palace in the evening," Grishma said with a wink.
"But Dhruv sir..." Tara said in surprise.
Grishma interrupted her and said, "I know very well how to convince Dhruv. For now, leave from here."
Tara was not understanding Grishma's words. Still, she nodded and left from there.
"If you are done talking to this girl, shall we leave from here?" Dhruv asked.
"No, Dhruv... I have come to Jodhpur for the first time today, and you are taking me straight from here. I don't know anything, I want to roam around the entire Jodhpur," Grishma replied.
"A little while ago you were angry with me. I thought you would fight with me for that girl," Dhruv asked in surprise.
"It's nothing like that... and we will talk about that later at leisure," Grishma evaded the topic.
Dhruv could not understand her changed behavior. He did not ask much and agreed to her subsequent statement, starting to take her around.
While Grishma was secretly planning to bring Tara back.
Dhruv had gotten Tara fired from her job. Greeshma did not like Dhruv's behavior. She convinced Tara to stay in Jodhpur for one more day.
"You girls are really weird! Ten minutes ago, you were angry at me for getting her fired, and now..." Dhruv said, driving the car.
Greeshma was sitting in the seat next to him. She replied, "What's the matter, baby? You seem to miss her more than I do... Anyway, the girl was really good, and I liked her efforts a lot."
Hearing her, Dhruv rolled his eyes. "It's good that she left, otherwise I would have had to put up with her nagging until the wedding."
"Okay, if not her, then someone else... The wedding planner will arrange another assistant for you. By the way, Dhruv, you'll get a new assistant, but you haven't thought about me at all." Greeshma said, changing the subject.
Dhruv glanced at her and then replied, "Do you really need an assistant for all this? You already have me and your mom, who take care of your every need day and night."
"Yes, but I also want special treatment. I think I'll hire someone for myself too." Greeshma shrugged.
"Whatever you think is right." Dhruv said with a smile.
He was busy driving, while Greeshma was thinking about Tara. "You can be my assistant, even if you're not Dhruv's, Tara... I know Dhruv will be a little irritated by my decision, but at least this way I won't feel guilty that you lost your job because of Dhruv."
Without telling Dhruv, Greeshma had hired Tara as her assistant. She decided not to tell Dhruv anything for now.
__________
Dhruv and Greeshma spent the whole day together. At night, for dinner, Greeshma insisted on going back to the palace.
"You're really acting weird today. There are better places in Jodhpur. We've already tried the food here, let's go somewhere else..." Dhruv asked before stopping the car.
"I told you, I want to eat here. Secondly, there's another reason for me to come here," Greeshma said.
"What reason?" Dhruv asked in surprise.
"Baby, I brought you here to meet someone. Now, just come with me quietly, and yes, keep your anger in your pocket," Greeshma said, getting out of the car.
"She never told me she knew anyone in Jodhpur," Dhruv muttered, following her.
This time, instead of going into the palace, they went to the palace hotel. Tara was already there, waiting for them.
Greeshma went inside. Dhruv was with her. His eyes were looking for Tara. When Tara saw Greeshma, she stood up from her seat and waved her hand, shouting, "Greeshma Ma'am... I'm here."
As soon as Dhruv saw Tara, there was anger on his face. He glared at Greeshma. "Did you bring me here to meet this girl?" he asked angrily.
"I brought you here to meet my new assistant. I don't understand what else you're talking about," Greeshma replied carelessly.
Before Dhruv could reply, Greeshma went to Tara's table. Dhruv had no choice but to follow her.
"Haven't you left yet?" Dhruv said, sitting down on the chair.
"Oh, hello... Even though I came here for your work, Jodhpur doesn't belong to your father, so I'll leave just because you said so," Tara replied, glaring.
"Jodhpur doesn't belong to my father, but the person you've come to meet is my future wife," Dhruv said, irritated.
"Can you both stop arguing? Dhruv, I've hired Tara as my assistant," Greeshma said, interrupting their argument.
"If you've hired her, then fire her. I don't want this girl around me," Dhruv said angrily.
"I'm not going to leave this time just because you said so. If you don't want to hire me, then don't... What did you say, I shouldn't be around you... Believe me, Mr. Dhruv Singhania, I have no interest in being around you. I want you to stay away from me... far, far away... as far as..." Tara stopped speaking and started thinking.
Dhruv and Greeshma were looking at her. Suddenly, Tara completed her sentence, saying, "As far as Dhruv-Tara is."
Hearing her, there was a smile on Greeshma's face, while Dhruv was glaring at her angrily.
"Dhruv, whether you like it or not, I liked it very much. Just now, her sentence revealed that both of your names are taken together... Dhruv-Tara..." Greeshma said.
"My name can never be associated with her." Hearing her, Dhruv replied angrily and left.
"Looks like he's angry with you too. So much has happened between you two in just one day since I arrived. I should leave from here. You should hire someone else." Tara got up to leave. Greeshma held her hand and stopped her.
"Don't worry about him. Sometimes he gets very irritated. You sit here," Greeshma said.
"Because you hired me, he'll fight with you for no reason. Somehow, I've come between you two," Tara replied, sitting there.
Greeshma said with full confidence, "No one can come between us. As for fighting, Dhruv can never be angry with me, and you're working for me. I'll convince Dhruv, but you shouldn't back down now."
Tara didn't want to work for Greeshma, but Greeshma somehow managed to convince her.
"You're from Gujarat, right? Will I have to go back to Gujarat with you?" Tara asked after agreeing to work.
"Even though I'm from Gujarat, Dhruv's family is from Jaipur. To make the wedding preparations go smoothly, both families are staying together at Dhruv's house. You should come with us there too," Greeshma said.
"That's right... I mean, you should check out your in-laws well before the wedding. You must love each other a lot... that's why you're having a love marriage," Tara said quickly.
Hearing Tara's words, Greeshma smiled slightly and then replied, "Whoever meets us for the first time thinks the same thing. Tara, we're not having a love marriage, it's an arranged marriage. Dhruv's father and my father have been friends for years and also business partners... They decided to turn their friendship into a relationship and fixed our marriage."
"Then you both must know each other very well." Tara was asking everything very excitedly.
"I can't even say that now. We've met each other before, but I've been studying in New York for the past several years. I didn't get a chance to meet Dhruv during this time. I just came back three months ago, and that's when I found out about this engagement," Greeshma told Tara everything about herself and Dhruv. She was listening to their story very carefully.
"Don't you have any objections to this marriage?" Tara asked in surprise.
"Why would I have any objections? Dhruv is a good boy and my mom and dad like him too. Come on, let's leave all this and you order food. I'll go get Dhruv," Greeshma said and came out to call Dhruv.
Dhruv was standing near his car, looking up at the stars in the sky.
Greeshma went to him and stood there, holding both his ears. "I know I hired her without asking you, but the way you fired her, I felt guilty that she lost her job because of us."
"You're very good, Greeshma, but it's not necessary that people in the world are as good," Dhruv said, hugging Greeshma.
"I knew you wouldn't stay angry with me. Anyway, it's only a matter of fifteen days. Fifteen days after our wedding, that girl will go back from here," Greeshma said, trying to pacify him.
"Okay... but make sure she understands that she should stay away from me," Dhruv said, stepping away from Greeshma.
"Okay... now leave your anger. Come on, let's go inside. I'm very hungry," Greeshma said and started pulling him inside without waiting for Dhruv's reply.
Inside, Tara had ordered food and was waiting for them. Seeing Dhruv with Greeshma, Tara understood that she must have convinced him.
The three of them had dinner together. While eating, Dhruv didn't say a word and was silently staring at Tara. He didn't like Greeshma's decision, but he couldn't say anything in front of her stubbornness. After dinner, the three of them left for Jaipur together.
°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°
Tara was going to Jaipur with Greeshma and Dhruv. Dhruv and Greeshma were in the front seat of the car, while Tara was in the back seat.
Dhruv was irritated because Tara was with them. Without saying anything, he was driving silently. Soon after sitting in the car, Tara fell asleep, and she was snoring comfortably.
"This girl has been snoring and sleeping since what time, after ruining my sleep...", Dhruv muttered.
"Tara's problem is gone, that's why she's sleeping peacefully," Greeshma replied.
"Yes, I can hear how peacefully your Tara is sleeping," Dhruv said, making a face.
Seeing Dhruv annoyed, a smile appeared on Greeshma's face. She said, "Are you still angry with her? Look how sweet she is." While speaking, Greeshma looked at Tara in the back seat.
Dhruv did not reply to Greeshma and kept driving silently. He was irritated by the sound of Tara's snoring.
"While I'm here, I definitely won't let you sleep peacefully, Tara...", Dhruv thought and moved his hand towards the music system. He turned on the music and made the sound loud.
"What are you doing, Dhruv? Tara is sleeping. She'll wake up if she hears the noise," Greeshma turned down the music.
"I'm getting irritated listening to her snoring. I'm driving, Greeshma, I need to focus," Dhruv made an excuse.
"But she'll wake up," Greeshma said sternly.
"The way she's snoring, even if a bomb explodes here, she won't wake up," Dhruv said, making a face, and turned the music up loud again.
Dhruv turned the music up loud so that Tara couldn't sleep. But she was still sleeping comfortably. She wasn't affected by the loud music at all. This was making Dhruv even more irritated.
__________
At around four in the morning, the three of them reached Jaipur. Dhruv was quite tired. Greeshma was also asleep in the car.
"Now how do I take both of them inside together?" Dhruv said to himself and looked at his house.
The lights of the house were off. The security guard saw Dhruv's car coming and opened the main door. Their house was like a palace. Dhruv and Greeshma were going to get married soon, which is why Greeshma's family had also come there.
Dhruv got out of the car and opened the back door of his car and started trying to wake Tara up. "Hey Tara... come on, get up, we've reached home."
He was trying to wake Tara up again and again, but Tara was sleeping comfortably.
"Her name should have been Trouble instead of Tara. Ever since I met her, she's been creating one new problem or another," Dhruv said, rolling his eyes. He took out a water bottle and poured it on Tara's face.
"It's raining... someone...", Tara woke up rubbing her eyes and found Dhruv in front of her. "What's your problem? Won't you even let me sleep peacefully now?"
"Your? Mind your language, Miss Tara," Dhruv said, raising his eyebrows.
"So what did I say wrong? Now that I don't work for you, I can say whatever I want to you. Okay, now step aside and tell me where I'm staying," Tara said, getting out of the car.
Dhruv didn't think it was right to wake Greeshma up and started carrying her inside in his arms. Tara was following him.
"That's right, he didn't wake up his girlfriend and poured water straight on me. I'll definitely take revenge on him for this someday," Tara was talking to herself as she came inside.
She saw that Dhruv's house was also quite big and just like a palace. After seeing his house, Tara thought, "That's why I say he's so arrogant? Now that he lives in a palace-like house, he'll have attitude... that's right... big people, big houses, and even bigger attitudes..."
Tara was walking inside in a lost manner. As soon as she came inside, Dhruv turned on the light.
"The guest room is over there, so go and sleep there," Dhruv said, pointing towards a room.
"And Greeshma Ma'am? Where will you take her?" Tara asked, shaking her head.
"For your information, she is my future wife, so I care about her more than I care about you. Mind your own business," Dhruv replied to her rudely and started going upstairs with Greeshma.
Tara made a face behind him and went to the room he had told her about. She was very angry with him because of Dhruv's behavior.
"What does he think of himself? Once these two get married, I won't even look at this Neanderthal's face," Tara muttered angrily and turned off the light and went to sleep.
________
The next morning, Tara was sleeping late, but Dhruv and Greeshma were present with the rest of the family. Dhruv's mother, Ratna ji, and Greeshma's mother, Sarita ji, were both sitting with Dhruv's grandmother, planning the wedding.
Dhruv was sitting with Greeshma's dad, Bhavesh ji, looking at some jewelry designs on the laptop.
"These days Kundan jewelry is quite in trend, so I thought of using them while designing the jewelry this time," Dhruv was telling him, showing him the designs.
"You have a very good sense of business. If your dad was here today, he would have been very proud of you," Bhavesh ji was quite impressed after seeing the designs he had made.
"Along with that, he would have been equally happy that Dhruv is marrying our Greeshma to fulfill the promise he made," Greeshma's mother, Sarita ji, came to them while speaking.
Everyone was talking lightly and was quite happy. But away from them, a boy and a girl were sitting, making faces and listening to all their talks.
"Don't you think, Dabbu, that our brother has become old before he's even grown up these days," the boy said to the girl sitting next to him. The boy was wearing denim capris and a t-shirt. He was also wearing a cap.
Dabbu took off his cap and put it on his head. Her whole hair was braided into pigtails. "You're right, Chintu, on top of that, they're getting married too. Brother, how virtuous! He sits and talks with our elders, whereas I don't even understand his talks properly," Dabbu replied.
Both were lost in their own world when Dhruv's grandmother, Gayatri ji, called out to them. "Dabbu... Chintu, what are you two doing sitting there? You two also come and talk to us."
"Leave it, Mom, they must find our talks boring," Ratna ji replied. Everyone smiled at her words, while Dabbu and Chintu made faces.
Greeshma was also present there and was looking at some messages on the tablet. Then suddenly she remembered Tara, so she called out to Dhruv and said, "Dhruv, we forgot about her. Where is she?"
"What do you think, Greeshma, where can she go? Madam must still be snoring comfortably in the guest room. That trouble is not going to leave our heads so easily," Dhruv replied irritably.
"Who are you two talking about?" Dhruv's mother, Ratna ji, asked.
"Mom, there's a trouble, which Greeshma has forcibly tied to her and my neck. Greeshma has hired an assistant for herself for the wedding preparations, she is sleeping in the guest room. Her name is Tara," Dhruv said.
After knowing about Tara from Dhruv's mouth, Dabbu and Chintu looked at each other. There was a mischievous smile on both their faces.
"Trouble for brother, that means an angel for us..." Dabbu said, winking.
"Now we have to meet this trouble," Chintu replied.
Both of them started going to the guest room on tiptoe. No one noticed them.
"Greeshma, what is the need for you to hire an assistant? We are all here, to help you?" Sarita ji said.
"I know, Mom... you guys are there... but now she has also come. Tara will be with me anytime, so it will be helpful for me," Greeshma replied.
"Nothing is going to be helpful. Watch, she will increase your work. You are expecting help from her, who hasn't even woken up yet..." Dhruv said.
"Dhruv is right. It's ten o'clock. Everyone has had breakfast and started their work, but that girl hasn't woken up yet. What kind of help will she be to you," Gayatri ji agreed with him.
No one liked Greeshma hiring an assistant. She didn't say anything to anyone at that time and started going to her room to wake Tara up.
Then Dhruv stopped her and said, "There is no need for you to go and wake her up, she is your assistant, not you hers. Let her sleep as much as she wants now. I know very well how to teach her a lesson."
Greeshma had to stop there on Dhruv's saying. She was trying to wake Tara up by calling her, but she was still sleeping comfortably.
°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°
Tara had arrived in Jaipur with Grishma and Dhruv. The next day, everyone woke up and got busy with their routines, while Tara slept in late.
Dhruv's younger siblings, Dabbu and Chintu, came to the guest room to meet Tara.
Grishma's call was coming on Tara's mobile; despite that, she was sleeping soundly.
Dabbu picked up Tara's mobile and silenced the call, saying, "Looks like she's our type. We'll get along well with her."
"True, Dabbu… finally, someone like us. The plus point is that Dhruv Bhaiyya doesn't like her at all," Chintu said in a serious tone.
"But the minus point is that Grishma likes her. Still, since we're here, let's befriend her. Who knows, she might be useful to us… Wait, I'll wake her up," Dabbu said and looked around. There was a glass of water on the bedside. He poured the entire glass of water on Tara's face.
Tara woke up startled by the water. She saw Dabbu and Chintu in front of her, smiling at her.
"What's the problem with the people in this house? Don't they know how to wake someone up properly? Who throws water on a sleeping person?" Tara said, making a face.
"Oh, you're getting angry," Dabbu said, sitting next to her.
"Now, you both have done such a thing. Come on, tell me who you both are?" Tara asked.
Chintu introduced them, "I am Sahitya, and this is my sister, Sakshi…"
"And I am Tara…" Tara said after them, introducing herself.
"By the way, everyone lovingly calls us Dabbu and Chintu. We are Dhruv Bhaiyya's younger siblings," Dabbu said.
Tara glared at both of them and then said, "Your Bhaiyya sent you both here to spy on me, didn't he?"
"Oh, no, no, you're misunderstanding us. We came to befriend you," Dabbu said.
"Befriend me? And why?" Tara asked in surprise.
Chintu also sat next to Dabbu and said in a low voice, "An enemy's enemy is a friend. We heard you and Dhruv Bhaiyya don't get along much, so we thought we'd befriend you. We haven't been getting along with him much either these days."
Dabbu nodded in agreement. Tara gave them a thumbs up with a smile. "Yes, then you both can join my team."
"Yep…" Dabbu said, and the three of them high-fived together.
"By the way, I will call you both by your real names. Dabbu and Chintu… these sound like childish names, and looking at your talks, it seems you both are not kids anymore," Tara said dramatically.
"Finally, someone understands that we are not kids anymore. Otherwise, the family keeps us away from every work. According to them, we are still in kindergarten," Sakshi (Dabbu) said, making a face.
"We have grown so much, yet they don't let us drive the car. They send the driver with us. When we go shopping, we don't get the credit card," Sahitya (Chintu) continued her point.
Tara agreed with them and then, making her face serious, said, "Then you both are being treated very unfairly. And I know very well that Dhruv Singhania is behind all this."
"Hand… no, Tara Didi, his hand, legs, mind, everything is involved in this work," Sakshi said.
"Don't worry, Sakshi, now that I am here. If I can't do much else, I will definitely get you both justice," Tara said, patting her back.
Sakshi and Sahitya were very happy to meet Tara. In just a short time, they started getting along well with her. The three of them sat together, complaining about Dhruv.
"To be honest, I found your brother very strange. So much attitude… and shouting at others for no reason. My mistake was so small… so small, I mean, smaller than a fingernail, yet he fired me from my job. Ostrich somewhere…" Tara said, making a face.
As soon as Tara called Dhruv an ostrich, Sakshi and Sahitya burst out laughing.
"Perfect name," Sakshi said.
"We thought, if our Bhabhi is good, we will get some freedom, but no… that Grishma… she is very selfish… she doesn't even talk to us properly," Sahitya said.
"I liked Grishma Ma'am very much, but a little bit of influence does come with company. By the way, let me tell you, she is the one who hired me for the job, otherwise, if your grumpy brother had his way, I wouldn't be in Jaipur today, but back in Ahmedabad," Tara said.
Hearing Tara's words, Sakshi and Sahitya looked at each other in surprise.
"I can't believe you're telling the truth. That girl has been here for two months, but she hasn't done anything that Bhai would refuse… After Bhai fired you, she brought you here, which means she must have some purpose," Sakshi said.
"Yes, some big purpose…" Sahitya agreed with her.
Hearing these two's words, Tara laughed. "Purpose? She has hired me as her assistant."
"Yes, so that's also a kind of purpose, isn't it… Anyway, leave it, we don't want to talk about her. Now, come out with us," Sakshi said.
"Yes, Tara Didi, Sakshi is right. You are so good, yet Dhruv Bhaiyya is trying to create a negative image of you in front of the family," Sahitya said.
"He dares…" Tara quickly got up from the bed and started to go out.
As she got up, Sahitya and Sakshi ran and stood in front of the door.
"What? Just a while ago, you both were saying that your brother is creating a negative image of me, and now you are stopping me from going out?" Tara asked in surprise.
"That's because if you go out without taking a bath, Bhai will succeed in his work. You go out after taking a bath," Sakshi said.
Tara agreed with her and quickly took out a dress for herself. After that, she went to take a bath, while Sakshi and Sahitya were waiting for her outside.
After a while, Tara got ready, and those two took her outside.
Dhruv had left from there with Grishma's father, Bhavesh Ji. The rest of the family was still present outside.
Dhruv's grandmother, Gayatri Ji, noticed Tara. She adjusted her glasses and stared at her. "Oh, so this is the girl Dhruv was talking about."
Hearing her words, Ratna and Sarita Ji looked towards Tara. Tara quickly went to them and started touching their feet.
"Okay, okay, be happy. Girls don't touch feet in our house," Ratna said, giving her blessings.
"The girl looks alright, then why was Dhruv speaking ill of her? What's your name, Thara?" Dhruv's grandmother asked.
"Ji, Tara…" Tara replied in a very low voice.
"Wake up on time from tomorrow. Come on, eat something now. Grishma has been waiting for you for a long time. She is upstairs in her room," Grishma's mother, Sarita Ji, said.
Without saying anything, Tara nodded in agreement. After that, they sat down to have breakfast. Sakshi and Sahitya were also next to her.
"We admit it, Tara Didi… You acted exactly as we told you," Sahitya said in a very low voice.
"Just keep helping me like this, you both. Together, we three will deal with Dhruv Singhania. Enough of his oppression, now we will raise our voices against him," Tara said while eating.
"Yes, but also be careful of Grishma. She is not as simple as she pretends to be…!" Sakshi said.
Tara agreed with her. After having breakfast, she went upstairs to Grishma's room.
"Everything is going well here. I have hired Tara as my assistant, although Dhruv doesn't like that girl at all, but I…" Grishma was talking to someone on the phone. As soon as she saw Tara, she quickly hung up her phone.
"What happened? You are getting so nervous seeing me as if you have seen a ghost," Tara said, coming inside.
"No… I thought it was someone from Dhruv's family. They still don't know that I have hired you for the job after Dhruv refused. I was talking to my friend and telling her everything. Please, don't you tell them anything about this either," Grishma clarified.
Tara agreed with her. "Tell me what work needs to be done?" Tara asked.
"Yes… We both will go to the boutique from here. There, you will help me with my dress and makeup, jewelry, all these things. I have to finalize the dress for every function," Grishma said.
"Okay… but you know, nowadays dresses are according to themes. Both the bride and groom select dresses by matching colors," Tara said.
"Yes, so what? Dhruv is also coming with us," Grishma said.
"Then what's the need for me?" Tara said quickly.
"Because you are my assistant. Now, if I could handle everything alone, why would I hire you? Try to make friends with Dhruv. Dhruv must be coming in a while. I will go and change," Grishma said and went to the bathroom to change.
"Friendship with that arrogant person… never. Forget being a friend, I wouldn't even make this monkey my enemy," Tara said, making a face. She looked down from the window, and Dhruv's car had arrived.
"The bat has arrived… Now, another whole day to endure him…" Tara made a face and sat there, waiting for Grishma to come.
Tara and Grishma were about to go out for shopping. They were waiting for Dhruv to arrive. Meanwhile, as soon as Dhruv arrived home, he went straight to Grishma's room. Grishma was inside the bathroom, and Tara was present in the room.
Seeing her there instead of Grishma, Dhruv's face fell.
"Now, don't tell me you're coming with us?" Dhruv asked, irritated.
"I can't help it now," Tara replied, shrugging.
"So, you are coming with us?" Dhruv repeated.
"If there's any other meaning to it, please explain it to me, Mr. Singhania…" Tara said with a slight smile.
"I was planning to spend time with Grishma, but you always come between us," Dhruv said directly to Tara.
"It's just a matter of fifteen days, Mr. Singhania, then no one will come between you two. And anyway, I haven't stopped you from spending time with her. You both can stay together after shopping. I'll manage," Tara replied with attitude.
Dhruv looked at her, shook his head, and then said, "The problem is that you'll be with us everywhere. How can I forget, Miss Tara, how anything can go right with you around?"
"Then fine, Mr. Singhania, explain this to Grishma Ma'am. I won't come with you two. Anyway, I had already refused her," Tara said softly.
They were arguing when Grishma came out of the bathroom. Seeing her, Tara said, "Ma'am, please explain to him that my presence won't affect their privacy. I had already refused to go with you, but you…"
Tara was speaking in one breath when Grishma interrupted her, "Enough, both of you. I wanted you both to have a normal friendship, if not a deep one, so that things would be easier for me."
"That's absolutely not possible in this lifetime," Dhruv said.
"Well, for once, we agree on something. He's right, Tom and Jerry could become friends, Nobita and Gian could become friends… the sun could rise in the west instead of the east, but our friendship… our friendship can never happen," Tara said, looking at Dhruv.
"Okay, okay, stop giving examples now. You can't be friends, but at least don't argue. And, Dhruv, wherever I go, Tara will be with me. At least everywhere until the wedding…" Grishma said.
"Thank you so much, Ma'am, you explained it in simple words. Otherwise, he just doesn't understand what I say," Tara said.
"Yes, that's fine, but don't call me Ma'am. If Dhruv and you can't be friends, so what? We can still be friends, right… call me by my name," Grishma said with a smile.
Tara also agreed with her. She glanced at Dhruv, whose face clearly showed anger. Seeing him, Tara thought to herself, "I don't know where this devil got this princess from. God should have taken extra time to create an evil spirit for him. Only a girl made from the combo of the most dangerous witch and sorceress of hell can handle him."
"Okay, you both come. I'll tell Mom," Dhruv said and went downstairs.
After he left, Grishma said, "Don't misunderstand Dhruv, Tara, he has a good heart. But yes, he doesn't trust anyone easily."
"He may not trust, but he can at least talk properly to the person in front of him. Looking at his attitude, I don't think he has any friends either," Tara said, shaking her head.
Grishma nodded in agreement and said, "You're right, Dhruv doesn't have any friends. One reason for this is that he had to take on the responsibility of the entire business at a very young age. After Dhruv's dad passed away, he was the one who handled the entire business."
"I'm sorry to hear that, but a person shouldn't be so strict that they forget to live their life. He treats me as if I've robbed his treasure," Tara replied.
Hearing Tara's words, Grishma burst out laughing. "You're really very cute. Come on, let's go downstairs quickly, otherwise Dhruv will get angry again," she said.
Tara nodded in agreement. Both came downstairs. Dhruv was waiting for them. As they were leaving, Sakshi and Sahitya gestured for Tara to come to them.
"I'll be back in two minutes," Tara said.
"Where do you have to go now? I came here leaving my work, and you…" Dhruv said angrily.
"Can't I even go to the washroom?" Tara made an innocent face and looked at Grishma.
"Okay, go, but come back quickly," Dhruv said and started to go outside with Grishma. "This girl will really drive me crazy. Thank God… Thank God, I fired her from the job, otherwise she would have made me mad before the wedding," Dhruv said to Grishma.
Grishma just smiled in response. On the other side, Tara ran to Sahitya and Sakshi.
"Say whatever you have to say quickly. Your grumpy brother is shouting at me," Tara was a little breathless from running.
"Just that be careful of those two. When two devils are together, they try to dominate good people," Sakshi said.
Hearing her words, Tara glared at both of them and said, "Is that what you both called me here to say?"
They both nodded in agreement. Tara replied, "You guys don't know Tara yet. She can handle good devils and witches. Then what is the status of your brother? He has just entered the world of devils. Hey, I am the queen there."
"But you seem like an angel to us. Okay, Agent Tara, your first mission will be to get permission for both of us to go shopping too. If we go with the family, we'll have to buy clothes according to them," Sahitya said.
"Don't worry, partners… I'll take care of everything," Tara winked at them, gave a thumbs-up, and came outside after saying bye.
Outside, Dhruv and Grishma were waiting for Tara. As soon as she came, both quickly got into the car and went to Jaipur's most famous boutique.
____________
A man, around twenty-eight years old, was present inside a large hall. He was wearing a mask and formal clothes. All around the walls of the hall were pictures of Dhruv Singhania.
All those pictures had a black cross mark on them. Along with Dhruv, there were pictures of all the people who were somehow connected to him.
The man had a large picture of Tara in his hand, and he placed it near the pictures of the rest of Dhruv's family. After putting up the photo, he put a big cross mark on the picture.
"Dhruv Singhania, I will destroy every person connected to you. Then you too will be alone like me… completely alone…" Hatred for Dhruv was evident in the man's voice.
He glanced at Tara and then said, "I don't know who you are, but you shouldn't have gotten involved with Dhruv Singhania. That man will be the cause of destruction for himself as well as for every person connected to him." After finishing his sentence, he shouted loudly. There were tears in his eyes.
"Why, Dhruv Singhania, why? What did we do to you that you… you destroyed all of us. Because of you, my own blood has cried tears of blood. They were so forced by their circumstances that they took their own lives with their own hands. I will make you just as helpless. One by one, your own people will die in front of your eyes. Then you will have no other way but to kill yourself."
Whoever that person was, it was clear that he hated Dhruv very much. After crying there for a long time, the man turned off the lights of the hall and left.
After some time, he was standing in front of the same boutique where Dhruv, Tara, and Grishma had gone. He put on a mask and hid a knife in his hand. His steps were rapidly moving inside the boutique.
°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°
Dhruv, Tara, and Grishma were at a famous boutique in Jaipur. Grishma was trying on different dresses there.
Dhruv was also trying on clothes that matched her dresses. Tara was helping them both.
"Tara, how do I look in the green dress? I'm going to wear this dress on the mehndi day," Grishma said, looking at herself in the mirror. It was a light green lehenga.
Dhruv also came wearing a similar green dress. He stood next to her.
"How perfect do we look together," Dhruv said, looking in the mirror.
"Grishma, this dress looks very good on you, but this color isn't quite right on Dhruv Sir," Tara said to tease Dhruv.
"What do you mean by 'not quite right'? What's wrong with this dress... it's such a nice color," Dhruv asked, shaking his head.
"Mr. Singhania, there's nothing wrong with the color or the dress, it's you. If you choose a slightly darker color according to your complexion, it will look better," Tara explained.
"Oh, really? Now I'm definitely going to take this color," Dhruv said, making a face, and then called a girl working there. "Excuse me, miss... please finalize this dress for both of us for the mehndi."
"Yes, of course, sir, this color looks very good on both of you," the girl replied.
"See, what did she say? This color looks very good on both of us," Dhruv said, looking at Tara.
Tara didn't reply to him. Dhruv went to change. As soon as he left, Grishma said to Tara, "You were saying all that to tease Dhruv, right?"
Tara nodded, laughing. "Looks like your future husband doesn't like to hear his mistakes."
"Yes, and that's because Dhruv does everything perfectly. He finalized these dresses for both of us," Grishma explained.
"Don't you have your own choice? Why do you do everything according to him?" Tara asked in surprise.
"Dhruv wants everything according to his wishes. Didn't you see how upset he was when I hired you against his will? You were inside. You don't know how much I had to plead with him to pacify him. Tara, I don't want Dhruv to be upset with me, so I do everything he likes. Now you stay here, I'll go try on another dress. Dhruv must have selected it," Grishma said with a smile and went to Dhruv.
Tara saw that Dhruv was standing with the designer and had selected many dresses for them both.
"Why is she marrying a guy who doesn't even let her wear clothes of her choice? She's so educated. Her family is also quite rich. Then why doesn't she refuse to marry him?" Tara thought to herself. Grishma's words had troubled her.
After that, Dhruv and Grishma tried on many clothes one by one, but Tara didn't give any special response. She was still lost in Grishma's words.
Seeing Tara lost, Dhruv thought, "What happened to her suddenly? A little while ago, she was excitedly involved in everything, and suddenly... she's so upset."
Dhruv took Grishma to the other side. Tara's silence was bothering him.
"What happened, Dhruv? Why did you bring me aside like this? Tara is alone there," Grishma asked.
"What happened to her? Why is she so upset all of a sudden? Tell her that if she also wants to buy a dress, she can. I'll pay," Dhruv said in a low voice.
Hearing Dhruv's words, Grishma smiled and lovingly stroked his cheek, saying, "No matter how strict you become from the outside, but inside... your heart is very good, Dhruv, and you can't change it even if you want to. You're taking care of the girl you didn't like at all. It's nice to see that."
Dhruv didn't reply to Grishma and went to the other side. There were very few occasions when he expressed his feelings.
Grishma went to Tara and said, "Okay, Tara, you select any two nice dresses from me and Dhruv."
"No, ma'am, there's no need for that," Tara refused with a slight smile.
"I told you, you won't call me ma'am, you'll call me by my name," Grishma scolded her, "That's enough. I'm not going to listen to you. Come on, quietly select any two dresses."
"I told you, Grishma, there's no need for that. I have dresses available for every function. Okay, you guys shop, I'll go to the restroom," Tara made an excuse to avoid the topic and left from there.
"I know very well why you left from here. Looks like I'll have to select a dress for you too," Grishma said to herself and started selecting clothes for Tara.
__________
They spent the whole day shopping. After buying clothes for almost every function, they were leaving from there.
Dhruv, Grishma, and Tara were all together in the lift. In the middle, the lift stopped on some floor, and the man who was talking about ruining Dhruv came inside.
He gave Dhruv a hateful look and then looked at Tara and Grishma. Dhruv was busy with his mobile, while Tara and Grishma were talking to each other.
Suddenly, the man pushed Tara towards Dhruv and put a knife to Grishma's neck. They were all startled by this sudden attack.
"Who are you? Look, you can take the money, the jewelry, whatever you want... but leave her," Dhruv said in a slightly trembling voice.
"Do you think everything is money, jewelry, Dhruv Singhania? Some things can't be bought with money," the man replied.
"Dhruv, please, save me," Grishma shouted. She was struggling to get out of the man's grip, but he held her tightly.
"Hey, stop moving... if your neck gets even slightly cut because of your moving, you'll be responsible for it," the man said.
"Please... please, don't do anything to her. You tell me... what do you want? I'm ready to give you everything, but she shouldn't get even a scratch," Dhruv said. He was scared seeing Grishma in his grip; moreover, they were trapped in the lift, where he couldn't even call anyone for help.
"Oh, so you're ready to give me anything. Okay, then I'll leave this girl. In return, give me that other girl," his gesture was towards Tara.
"Who are you, and why do you want to harm us? We don't even know you," Dhruv asked in surprise. His nature was quite decent, so he didn't have any enemies today.
Upon Dhruv's asking, the man replied, "Oh, you don't know? Put a little pressure on your memory and think, Dhruv Singhania, why would a stranger think of harming you? It's the fruit of your own deeds, which has come back to you."
Dhruv was shocked to hear the man's words. Tara looked at him. "Look, whoever you are, your enmity is with this man, so take him away, right? Why are you harming us?" While speaking, Tara grabbed Dhruv with both hands and pushed him in front of the man.
"What are you doing? Have you gone mad?" Dhruv shouted angrily.
"Yes, so what should I do? The mistake is yours, and Grishma is getting punished. No, you tell me, goon brother, whose mistake is it?" While speaking, Tara came close to the man.
"Dhruv Singhania's," the man replied.
"Exactly, the mistake is this Dhruv Singhania's, so he should be punished," Tara said.
"Tara, what kind of things are you saying? Dhruv can't think bad of anyone, he hasn't done anything," Grishma said in a scared voice.
"Yes, someone explain to this crazy girl, who is unnecessarily after me. Look, whoever you are, I'm ready to give you any price you ask, but take this girl away from my sight. She'll drive me crazy," Dhruv said angrily. He was irritated by Tara's antics.
"You're already crazy. What's the need to make you more crazy?" Tara said.
"Really? Yes, you're right. I'm crazy, who is tolerating a girl like you," Dhruv shouted.
"Oh, you haven't tolerated me at all? You got me fired. It was Grishma who hired me," Tara said, placing both hands on her waist.
Dhruv and Tara started arguing with each other. Annoyed by the voices of both of them, the man shouted loudly, and he brought the knife held to Grishma's neck very close to it. As he did so, blood started coming out of Grishma's neck.
°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°
Dhruv, Greeshma, and Tara went shopping. There, in the elevator, a thug attacked the three of them. He was an old enemy of Dhruv's.
The man held a knife to Greeshma's neck. Greeshma was injured by the knife, and blood started flowing from there. Greeshma was screaming in pain; there were tears in her eyes.
Seeing her in pain, Dhruv shouted loudly at the man in anger. "Whoever you are, I don't know you. You will pay a very heavy price for whatever you have done. Until now, I might not have done anything to you, but after all this, you yourself will be responsible for whatever happens to you."
Dhruv was moving towards him in anger. In response, the man tightened his grip on Greeshma even more.
"If you take even one more step, I will drop this girl's corpse right here."
Dhruv's steps stopped right there due to the man's threat. He was looking helplessly at Greeshma. Seeing the helplessness on Dhruv's face, a smile spread across the man's lips.
"Don't worry, Dhruv Singhania. I won't do anything to the three of you in this closed elevator. I've heard that your wedding is in ten days at Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur. On your wedding day, exactly ten days from today, you will see with your own eyes what will happen to this girl and your entire family… and even then you will stand helplessly like this. You won't be able to do anything even if you want to, Dhruv Singhania," the man said sternly.
"Look, I don't know you. How will I know what I have done unless you tell me?" Dhruv asked helplessly.
"I will tell you, definitely tell you, but on that day… the day of your wedding, exactly ten days from today… when the corpses of all of them will be lying in front of your eyes, then I will present the sins you have committed before you. It gives me great peace to see the helplessness in your eyes today. In these ten days, try to remember what sins you have committed in your life."
Suddenly the elevator stopped, and they reached the ground floor. As soon as the door opened, the man pushed Greeshma towards Dhruv and ran away from there. Dhruv was busy supporting Greeshma, while Tara quickly ran after him.
"Tara, stop…" Dhruv shouted from behind, but Tara ignored him and started following the man.
"Dhruv, please, leave him for now. I am in a lot of pain. Please, take me to the hospital," Greeshma said, crying. Blood was flowing from the wound on her neck.
"But Tara… Greeshma is new to our city and might not even know the way to our house properly."
"Dhruv, we will send the driver to pick her up… I am in a lot of pain, please…"
Dhruv agreed and lifted her into the car. Because Greeshma was injured, Dhruv had to leave Tara there.
The man was running away from there. Tara was running after him.
"I'll see where you run. You don't know, I will catch you… I will only rest after catching you," Tara shouted from behind.
The very next moment, a car came in front, and the man ran and sat in it. After sitting in the car, he lowered the car window and waved his hand at Tara, smiling.
"He ran away…" Tara said, stamping her feet. "Oh, I have seen many like you who give cheap threats. You escaped because you had a car. Otherwise, I would have beaten you with my shoe in such a way that you wouldn't threaten anyone for the rest of your life. He will take revenge… Huh… He ran away, scared of a girl."
Tara kept grumbling there angrily for a long time. People around were stopping and looking at her.
She looked at those people and shouted at them, "Is there a puppet show going on here, that you are stopping and watching me? When help is needed, no one comes…"
"It seems this girl has gone crazy," a woman said to the woman next to her.
"Yes, yes, you are right. Come on, let's go from here…" the other woman made a face at Tara and then left from there.
"Yes, then go… Who asked you to stop here and listen to me," Tara shouted back.
"In anger, I forgot that Greeshma was injured. Dhruv Sir and Greeshma must be waiting for me. I should go," Tara said to herself and turned her steps back towards the boutique.
Going there, she looked around, but she could not see Dhruv and Greeshma there. She found out from the receptionist that the two of them had left from there.
"They left me alone… Oh, he didn't run away after stealing my purse, that I ran after him. I went to find out about that man, thinking of their benefit. But these two left me here itself. Surely that Dhruv Singhania left me here. Greeshma must have insisted, but that grumpy person didn't listen to her," Tara was grumbling in anger.
She took out her mobile and called Sahitya.
"Hello, Tara Didi… Sahitya reporting! Is everything alright there? Didn't Grumpy Brother trouble you?" Sahitya said as soon as he picked up the call. Sakshi was also next to him.
"If he has troubled you, then tell me. The three of us will fix him," Sakshi said.
"Nothing like that happened, Sahitya and Sakshi… I can't tell you guys much right now, but your Grumpy Brother left me alone at the boutique. Greeshma is also with him. Now how will I come home alone? I don't even know the way," Tara said, worried.
"Don't worry, Tara Didi, you don't need to take tension when we are here. We are reaching the boutique right now," Sahitya said and disconnected the call.
"Surely Greeshma is behind all this, she must have forcibly taken Brother away," Sakshi said.
"We will talk about all this later, let's go pick up Tara Didi first," Sahitya said and came out with Sakshi.
Outside, their mother, Ratna ji, was sitting with a jewelry designer from their company, looking at some jewelry. Sahitya and Sakshi were going out on tiptoe, hiding from their eyes, but she saw them.
"Dubbu… Chintu…" she called out to both of them. "Where are you both going, hiding like thieves?"
"Mommy, Tara Didi is alone at the boutique. Dhruv Bhaiya and Greeshma… I mean Greeshma Bhabhi, have left her somewhere," Sakshi said.
"Dhruv can't be so careless that he would leave a girl in the middle of the road. Are you both lying somewhere?" Ratna ji said, showing her eyes.
"No, Mommy, I swear to Mata Rani… we are not lying. Tara Didi is really very worried. Now please let us go. We will take the driver with us," Sahitya said.
Ratna ji gestured for them to leave from there. Both of them left from there. After they left, Ratna ji also sent the jewelry designer away from there.
"How can Dhruv do this? Surely that girl must be lying… Dhruv is not so careless that he would leave her girl like that to spend time with Greeshma." She started pacing around worriedly. She called Dhruv, but he was not picking up her phone. This increased her worry even more.
Sahitya and Sakshi reached Tara in the car. She was waiting for the two of them to arrive. There was anger in Tara's heart for Dhruv.
Seeing the two of them, Tara quickly went to them. "It's a good thing you guys came. Otherwise, I thought I would have to get a ticket straight to Ahmedabad from here."
"Will you leave us in the middle of the road like this, Tara Didi? You are our last resort," Sakshi said, making a face.
"Your brother left me in the middle of the road… Let me meet him… I'll tell him, he's a selfish person of number one…"
"It seems the matter is quite serious. Let's go home for the time being, Tara Didi. Mommy knows everything about this, and you don't know our Mommy, if we even sneeze, she gets worried. Meaning she has a habit of taking big tension on every small thing," Sahitya said.
Tara agreed to their point and came home with them. At the same time, Greeshma and Dhruv had also reached home. Ratna ji had gathered everyone together in her worry.
As soon as Sarita ji saw the injury on Greeshma's neck, she got nervous and went to her. "What happened? Dhruv, how did Greeshma get this injury? You both went together, right?"
"Answer, Dhruv, Tara also called from the boutique that you had left her alone somewhere," Ratna ji said.
"Yes, yes, now answer all of them where you had gone, leaving me," Tara looked at Dhruv angrily.
Dhruv was not paying any attention to their words at all. His mind was stuck on the man who had threatened him. He was constantly trying to think about him, but he could not remember who he was.
"Answer, Dhruv… everyone is asking you. Where is your attention?" Gayatri ji said in a stern voice.
Hearing her voice, Dhruv's attention broke. He said in a lost voice, "I want my and Greeshma's wedding to happen in the next three days."
As soon as Dhruv said this, everyone looked at each other in surprise.
★★★★
Dhruv had brought Grishma home. Everyone was worried to see the injury on her neck, and they were asking Dhruv the reason for it.
Suddenly, everyone was shocked when they heard Dhruv talk about getting married soon.
"What are you talking about? How can the wedding that's supposed to happen in 15 days happen in the next 3 days?" Ratna ji asked.
"Has something happened, Dhruv? You haven't said anything since you arrived. And Grishma is also injured. Is there something you're hiding from us?" Bhavesh ji asked, coming closer to him.
"No, Papa, it's nothing like that." Dhruv always called Grishma's father 'Papa'. "I don't want any more delay in the wedding now. Grishma also agrees with my decision. Right, Grishma?" Dhruv asked, looking at Grishma.
Grishma blinked and nodded in agreement. Although she was quite shocked by Dhruv's sudden decision, she didn't let it show on her face.
Upon her agreement, Tara thought to herself, "In the end, you'll do as you please, Dhruv Singhania? Poor Grishma is stuck with you because of her parents. She doesn't even want to marry you, and you're forcibly preponing the wedding, that too by using her name..."
"But son, how will the preparations be done so quickly? Nothing has been done yet. What will we tell the relatives?" Ratna ji said worriedly.
"Don't worry, Maa, we'll all do it together. I'll ask the wedding planner to come here. We'll hire another planner, and there's Tara too," Dhruv explained to them.
"I don't understand the reason for your hurry at all, son. Where we have been waiting for so many years, what will happen if we wait for 15 more days?" Sarita said.
They all couldn't understand the reason for Dhruv's decision. Dhruv didn't tell them anything so that they wouldn't worry. Everyone was arguing with him, and no one was happy with this decision. Dhruv was trying his best to explain to them, but no one was ready to listen to him.
"Okay, okay, that's enough now," Gayatri ji said in a loud voice, "When the boy and girl are willing, we have no problem with the wedding, so what difference does it make whether the wedding is in 3 days or 15 days?"
Because of Gayatri ji's intervention, they had to agree to Dhruv's decision.
"Okay, we'll see. You guys pack. We're leaving for Umaid Bhawan early tomorrow morning," Bhavesh ji said.
Upon hearing Dhruv's talk of getting married soon, everyone's attention was diverted from Grishma's injury. She was standing quietly, sadly, listening to all those people's conversations. Tara's attention was also on Grishma. It was clear from her face that Grishma was not at all happy about the wedding happening soon.
As everyone was about to leave, Sahitya asked, "By the way, Bhaiyya, you didn't tell us how the soon-to-be Bhabhi got injured? And Tara Didi's answer is also still incomplete."
Upon his sudden question, everyone's attention went back to Grishma. Dhruv glared at him.
Sahitya put his finger on his mouth and said, "I was just asking."
"Yes, Dhruv, you didn't tell us where you guys went, leaving Tara alone? And Grishma, how did she get injured?"
Dhruv looked at Grishma and said, "While trying on a dress, Grishma got hurt by the metallic design on it. Tara was outside, so she didn't get a chance to tell her. Because of Grishma's injury, I was so nervous that I couldn't think of anything else, and I took her straight to the hospital."
As soon as Dhruv finished speaking, Tara started looking at him with wide eyes. "Liar..." she said softly.
"Now that your court hearing is over, let's call the relatives and tell them. It's the wedding of the eldest son of the Singhania family, it won't just happen between 4 people. We'll have a grand wedding, and we'll invite everyone," Gayatri Devi said.
Dhruv thought for a moment and then said in a lost voice, "No, Dadi... this wedding will be a private affair, where no one other than our family members will be present. We'll throw a reception after the wedding, where everyone can come, and that's where you can do Grishma's 'Muh-Dikhai'."
"What's wrong with you? You're giving shocks one after another today. Sometimes you want to get married soon, and sometimes you don't want to invite relatives. What will we answer them?" Ratna ji said angrily.
"You can see what you have to answer, but no one other than our and Grishma's family will be present at this wedding, not even Tara... If you accept my decision, then say so, otherwise, I'll take Grishma to court right now. We'll both get married there."
Everyone was looking at Dhruv in surprise. Until now, he had been explaining everything calmly, but this time he announced his decision angrily. Everyone had no option but to accept it.
Unwillingly, everyone agreed and went to their respective rooms.
________
Grishma was resting in her room. Because of her injury, Tara was doing her packing. Grishma was not at all happy with the decision to get married soon. She was sitting quietly on the chair, looking at a showpiece there.
"I know you're not happy with this wedding, Grishma," Tara said, breaking the silence.
"No, Tara... I'm happy with this wedding, but I'm not at all happy with the decision to get married soon. On top of that, Dhruv has also said that no one other than the family members can come to the wedding. You don't know, all my friends were getting excited to attend this wedding. Some were even coming from New York."
"He has even refused me to attend the wedding," Tara said sadly.
"Don't you worry about that. I'll convince Dhruv for you," Grishma said with a smile.
Tara smiled in response. "It's only been two days since we met, yet it feels like we've known each other for so long. You're very nice, Grishma... Whether you say something to Dhruv Singhania or not, I'm going to talk to him."
"There's no point in that, Tara... he's not going to agree. Instead, you both will have another fight."
"When there have been so many fights, one more is fine. I'm going to talk to him. He should have told everyone what happened at the boutique."
Hearing Tara's words, Grishma replied, "I'm also surprised that Dhruv hid the truth from everyone. He brought me straight here, whereas we should have gone to the police station."
"Did they say anything about the man who met us in the lift?"
Grishma shook her head in denial and said, "He said he doesn't remember anything."
"Okay, I've done your packing. Now I'll leave, you take rest." Saying good night to Grishma, Tara started going to her room.
She saw Dhruv talking to someone on a call in the garden, she went to the garden to talk to him.
"I don't know anything. I need every detail about that man." While talking on the phone, Dhruv turned to the other side, then he saw Tara. "I'll talk to you later." Saying this, Dhruv cut the call.
"May I know what you were doing behind my back at this time?" he asked.
"Yes, sure... you can definitely know. I came here to talk to you. Why did you lie to the family members?"
"Stop interfering in my matters. Whether I lie or tell the truth to my family members... it's none of your business... It would be better for you to do what you came for, take your money from here and leave," Dhruv replied in sharp words.
"That man in the lift was right... you measure everything with money. Emotions have no value for you. Did you even think it necessary to ask Grishma whether she is happy with your decision or not?"
"Grishma is happy with every decision of mine."
"She is not happy with your decision. You forcibly impose your words on her. Just like her family members and you have forcibly imposed this wedding on her," Tara was saying everything in one breath.
"What nonsense are you talking about?" Dhruv said, widening his eyes.
"I'm not afraid of these two big button-like eyes of yours. You still don't know Tara, she knows how to deal with every situation. I meet millions of people like you in a day..."
"Millions of people?" Dhruv said with a slight laugh. "Nothing can be done with you. Now get out of my way and let me go. People have other things to do besides talking like you," Dhruv pushed her aside and started leaving from there.
Tara shouted from behind him, "Yes, yes, go away Dhruv Singhania... I will definitely not let your wedding happen with her against Grishma's will. I will not let injustice happen to her."
"Looks like this girl has gone mad, spouting whatever nonsense she can," Dhruv said to himself and went to sleep.
After he left, Tara also went to her room from there. When she came to her room, Sahitya and Sakshi were waiting for her there.
"Thank God, partner, you came here. We had a very important thing to talk to you about," Sakshi said.
"I also had something to talk to you both about, and that is related to your brother. Okay, first you tell me, what did you want to talk about?" Tara asked.
"Our talk is related to Grishma, and it is also very important... Grishma... that Grishma is cheating Bhai," As soon as Sahitya told, Tara started looking at him with wide eyes.
Until now, she considered Dhruv wrong, whereas Sahitya and Sakshi were telling her something different about Grishma.

Saahitya and Saakshi were sitting in Tara's room. They told Tara about Grishma cheating on Dhruv, which made Tara shocked at first, then she started laughing loudly.
"What happened, partner?" Saakshi asked in surprise.
"I'm laughing after hearing your joke." Tara said, suppressing her laughter, and then burst out laughing again.
"We are not telling any joke. Grishma is really cheating on Bhai." Saahitya said.
"When we were coming to your room just now, we heard her talking to someone on the phone. She said that Dhruv has preponed the wedding. She will have to change her plan. She doesn't have much time now." Saakshi said.
Saahitya also agreed with her. Hearing their words, Tara started thinking.
"Maybe she was talking to one of her friends. Actually, when I was in her room, she told me that Dhruv Sir had forbidden outsiders from coming to the wedding, because of which she was very sad. Her friends wanted to attend this wedding, but now they will not be able to attend this wedding. Maybe she is talking to one of her friends about this." Tara explained to them both. She still had a lot of faith in Grishma.
"Maybe, but plan? What plan was she talking about?" Saakshi said.
"I will tell you what plan I was talking about." It was Grishma's voice. She was coming into Tara's room. She had heard all their conversations.
Seeing Grishma there, Saahitya and Saakshi became a little uncomfortable. She came and sat near them and said, "Don't worry, I won't say anything to your Bhaiya. Tara is absolutely right. I was talking to one of my friends. Actually, all of us had made a lot of plans before the wedding, but Dhruv's decision changed everything. One is the preponement of the wedding, and on top of that, not allowing anyone from outside to come to the wedding. These two reasons have ruined all my plans."
"What plans did you make?" Saakshi stared at her.
"My friends had thought of throwing a party for me before the wedding. Also, they wanted to gift us a pre-wedding shoot of me and Dhruv, but now nothing will be possible." Grishma said sadly.
"See, I was saying that her plans were related to her friends. Both of them are not at all happy because the wedding is happening in a hurry."
"Don't cover up, Tara, I know very well that these two don't like me. I also know the reason for this." Grishma said.
Tara did not understand Grishma's words. "And what is the reason for this?"
"A few days ago, both of them wanted to go on a trip, but Dhruv refused. I was the one who told him to do so." Grishma said.
"Dhruv Bhaiya was not so strict with us before, but since you have come, he keeps stopping us from doing everything." Saakshi said.
"I can explain the reason for that to you people too. Tara, the man we met today, before that also there used to be threatening phone calls. Dhruv is very insecure about these two. We are all still older, but these two are children, that is why he did not want to send these two anywhere alone. Please, don't misunderstand me. Dhruv and I took that decision only for your safety." Grishma was trying to explain to them, but Saakshi and Saahitya did not listen to her and started leaving from there, ignoring her words.
While leaving, Saahitya said to Tara, "Tara Didi, we will talk to you in the morning."
Tara tried to stop them, but both of them left from there. Because of their behavior, there was sadness on Grishma's face.
"I have been with them for the last two months, yet these two do not even talk to me properly. Whereas you have only come for two days. In such a short time you have made friends with them." Grishma said.
"Don't be sad, Grishma. I will explain to these two. Both are children, they will understand." Tara said, putting her hand on her hand.
"You make anyone your own in a very short time." Grishma said with a smile.
"Yes, maybe... Okay, leave all this. How did you come to my room at this time? You could have called if there was any work."
"I had come after meeting Dhruv. I thought I would ask you too, what did you both talk about, but while coming, I heard Saahitya and Saakshi's conversation. To be honest, I felt very bad, but at the same time, I also felt good that instead of giving them any wrong advice, you explained the right thing to them."
"I may have been with you for a very short time, but I have come to know that you are very good. How can I listen if someone says something wrong about you."
Hearing Tara's words, Grishma smiled. She told her to sleep and went to her room. After she left, Tara also went to sleep.
__________
The next morning, the Singhania family had left for Jodhpur early. Dhruv had already explained everything to Mr. Sisodia. He had made sure that security was tight.
When Jeevan saw Tara with the Singhania family, he felt good.
"So you regained your self-respect and job." Jeevan said to Tara with a smile.
"Yes, absolutely... I can let go of the job once, but not self-respect..."
After a short meeting, Tara went inside. After resting for a while, the Haldi function of Dhruv and Grishma was kept in the evening.
The wedding planners had made the arrangements very well. Mr. Sisodia had decorated the entire Umaid Bhawan Palace. When Ratna Ji saw only a few people at the Haldi function, there was disappointment on her face.
"I thought I would do every function of Dhruv's wedding with great pomp. But here, apart from us counted people, no one else is present." Ratna said to Sarita Ji.
"Don't worry. I had told Dhruv. He has said yes to inviting some relatives. Not many, but by evening your parents' side and my parents' side will come to attend the wedding." Hearing Sarita's words, there were signs of relief on Ratna's face.
"Well, at least something good to hear. Come on, let's complete the Haldi ceremony happily."
Sarita agreed with Ratna's words. Both of them reached near Dhruv and Grishma. Dhruv was troubled because of that man, while Grishma's face also did not show the happiness because of the wedding happening so quickly.
"I agree that everything is happening very quickly, but if you people keep making such faces, you will not look good at all in the wedding photos." Tara said.
"Yes, this girl is absolutely right. Come on, now both of you smile quickly." Gayatri Ji said.
Hearing her words, Grishma and Dhruv looked at each other. Dhruv gestured her to smile. There was a slight smile on Grishma's face, which made Dhruv also feel good.
"These people have also taken our partner to their side. Now there is no way to stop this wedding." Saakshi said. She was standing with Saahitya a little away from them.
"I wish there was some magic, where this wedding could be canceled." Saahitya replied.
Both of them were whispering and talking in a low voice. Not seeing them both near her, Ratna called out to them.
"Dabbu, Chintu, come here quickly. You both also apply Haldi to your future sister-in-law and brother." On Ratna Ji calling out, Dabbu and Chintu came to her with a sulky face.
"At least here you can call us both by our names. I agree that relatives are not present, but there is staff here. Look, everyone is staring at us so strangely." Saakshi said, making a face.
"Nothing happens. Come on, do what I have told you to do." Ratna Ji extended the Haldi plate towards Saakshi.
While applying Haldi, she came to Tara and said in a low voice, "Very bad partner, you have changed the team."
"Absolutely not, I am still in your team." Tara whispered in reply.
In a short while, their Haldi ceremony was over. After the ceremony was over, they were getting photoshoots done.
Tara was standing at a distance and looking towards them. There was moisture in her eyes.
"How happy these people are, and lucky too… They have their own family… with whom they can share all their happiness and sorrow. Can complain, can be upset, can convince them… I am exactly like my name, which is present in the sky like thousands of stars. There are thousands to say, but everyone is alone in themselves…" Thinking this, tears welled up in Tara's eyes.
Grishma gestured her to come near her. Tara quickly wiped her tears and started walking towards them with a smile on her face.

Dhruv and Grishma's wedding's Haldi ceremony was complete. After the ceremony, everyone was getting photoshoots done. Seeing them all happy together, Tara became emotional thinking about her own life.
"Tara...," Grishma called out. "You also come, be with us..."
Hiding from everyone's eyes, Tara wiped away her tears and moved towards them with a smile. She also got photos clicked with them.
"What happened? Why are you worried?" Seeing Tara sad, Grishma asked.
"Oh, nothing, whenever I see someone getting married, I get a little emotional."
"You get so emotional seeing others' weddings, what will you do when you get married yourself?" Grishma said, laughing lightly.
"Don't know... Will that time even come in my life or not..." Tara thought to herself.
Tara was trying to hide her sorrows by being amongst everyone. Her heart was heavy and she felt like crying, so she made an excuse and went upstairs from there.
Tara had tears in her eyes, which she couldn't stop even if she wanted to.
"Did you specially take out time to write my destiny?" Tara said, looking up at the sky. "Everyone gets everything. Maybe not everything, but... but everyone has a family. If there is no mom, then there is dad. If there is no dad, then there is mom, brother or sister, grandfather or grandmother, there is someone or the other with everyone... but we... we have no one of our own to call family."
Tara was complaining to God, looking at the sky. Just then someone called on her phone. She quickly wiped away her tears and composed herself.
"Well, thank God, you remembered me." Tara pretended to laugh.
"Yes, you are talking as if you have called me 50 times since leaving. Complain later, first tell me, why were you crying?" A girl's voice came from the other side.
Hearing her loving words, a sob escaped Tara's mouth. Until now she was trying to stop her tears, the next moment her tears were out of the confinement of her eyes. She replied in a heavy voice, "Nothing Tanisha, like every time, I was asking that above one the same question."
"You are crazy... People have only one or two siblings, think how many siblings we have in our ashram. Sameedha aunty loves us just like our mother. How can you forget Ramdhan Kaka and Shiva Bhaiya? They guard not only the ashram but all of us very well. How can you feel the lack of your own people when they are there?"
"Yes, you are right, I am also crazy, who is crying remembering those people who didn't even keep me with them for a day after birth and left me in the hospital and ran away." Tara replied in a stern voice.
"That's the spirit... Thank God we don't live with those who leave their own children and run away like fugitives. We live with those who consider thousands of orphans as their own children and raise them."
Tanisha's words gave Tara a lot of courage. Tanisha and she had grown up together in an orphanage in Ahmedabad since childhood. They had other friends there too, but Tanisha and Tara loved each other more than real sisters.
"Okay, let's leave all this nonsense. Okay, tell me why did you call?" Tara asked.
"That Miss Mehta of yours called and invited me. She fired you from the job and you didn't even tell me? When you are not even working for her, then what are you doing in Rajasthan?"
"It's a very long story, man..." Tara took a deep breath and exhaled.
"Then tell it in short."
"Miss Mehta didn't fire me from the job, but the one I came to work for got me fired. I thought I would come back to Ahmedabad from here, but that boy's future wife is very nice. She has hired me. Earlier their wedding was going to be after 15 days. Now it will be done in three-four days, so I will come to Ahmedabad too." Tara told her the whole story in one breath.
"Okay, I will wait. Listen, don't forget to bring Rajasthani dupattas and dal-baati-churma for me while coming." Tanisha said.
"I will not bring dal-baati-churma, but I will learn its recipe and come, so that I can cook it for all of you. As for bringing Rajasthani dupattas, the day you start wearing dupattas, I will give you dupattas too. Okay, now I'll hang up, there's a lot of work."
Tanisha nodded and cut the call. Tara's mood had become quite good after talking to her. She had come upstairs crying, but now she was going downstairs smiling without any complaints.
____________
When Tara reached downstairs, some relatives from Dhruv and Grishma's maternal side had come. Everyone was sitting surrounding Grishma.
"Who is this girl?" One of the women asked.
"Mami, she is my assistant. She has come to help me in the wedding." Grishma replied.
"I thought she was your friend. But she has come to do your work." That woman made a face looking at Tara.
"She is my friend only, Mami." Grishma said.
Hearing her words, that woman made a face. She was staring at Tara with strange eyes.
"Why is this aunty staring at me like she will eat me up in the next moment?" Tara whispered to Sakshi.
"Tara Didi, she is our Mami. She only looks at people of equal status with love. Otherwise, she keeps staring at everyone else like this with wide eyes." Sahitya replied.
Tara was standing near Sakshi and Sahitya. "Then we will have to teach her a lesson." Tara glared at Mami.
"We are definitely with you in this work, partner." Sakshi and Sahitya said together.
"I understand about Grishma, but Mami? Why will you both support me against her?"
"That's why Tara Didi because each of our relatives is equal to an enemy for us. No one says that these two should be supported to move forward. They are always worried about my wedding." Sakshi replied.
"Yes and I also don't want to join the family business. If they had their way, they would have made me sit in the office as soon as I was born. I don't want to become a jewelry designer, I want to become a photographer." Sahitya said.
"And I want to explore this world. I want to go to every corner of the world and see and learn its culture."
Sakshi and Sahitya told their dreams one by one, hearing which Tara had a smile on her face.
"Never listen to the world and do what is in your heart. When you become something, then this world will revolve around you."
Hearing Tara's words, Sakshi said, "That's the reason Tara Didi that we like you so much."
"You are our hero... you are not afraid of anyone. You say anything even to Dhruv Bhaiya." Sahitya nodded in agreement.
"Yes, because I never learned to be afraid. Even if I have ever taken a step back out of fear or felt alone, my friend Tanu has pushed me forward from behind."
The three of them were talking to each other, when Ratna Ji came there.
"Tara, you come with me. I have some work. Help me." Ratna Ji said to Tara.
Tara agreed to her words and went upstairs to the room with Ratna Ji. Dhruv and Grishma were present in the room upstairs. Tara didn't understand why Ratna Ji had brought her upstairs?
"What happened aunty? Why did you bring me here?" She asked.
"In the last few days, I have noticed that you have become very close to Grishma. I want you to make these two understand."
"I will make Grishma understand, but making Dhruv Sir understand is like playing the flute in front of a buffalo." As soon as Tara said this, Dhruv started glaring at her. "I mean Dhruv Sir is already so sensible, what is the need to make him understand anything? By the way, what is there to understand aunty?" Tara asked.
"According to our family tradition, the girl sits with a long veil during the pheras and the boy wears a sehra on his face... so that the evil eye of the people present there does not fall on him. The bride and groom see each other's faces after the wedding on their first night."
"Quite a strange custom. But what is the problem?"
"The problem is that both of them don't want to follow this custom." Ratna Ji told.
"What wrong are we saying, Mom? You yourself tell me that we have become so modern. The practice of veil was in the olden days and it is considered a kind of social evil. The social workers of our country have worked so hard to remove all these and you want to follow them in the name of custom." Dhruv put forward his argument.
"I am not telling Grishma to remain veiled for life. You know very well that the daughters-in-law in our house have as much freedom as the daughters of this house... Mother-in-law and I never insisted that Grishma will live according to us after marriage."
"Then why are you both insisting now? What does this mean? I won't even be able to see my bride at my wedding and neither will she be able to see me?"
"So what happened son? See her after the wedding. Grishma is yours and now you have to see her for life." Ratna Ji said.
Dhruv and Ratna Ji's argument started increasing. She was repeatedly telling Dhruv to follow this ritual, while Dhruv was putting forward different arguments in front of her. Tara and Grishma were standing silently in both of their arguments.
"Tara, now you make both of them understand..." Ratna Ji said looking towards Tara.
"I am very sad to say this, but for the first time I agree with Dhruv Sir. Aunty, whoever is present here, all are our own and how can the evil eye of our own fall? They have come here to give blessings."
Hearing Tara's words, Dhruv said quickly, "Well, thank God."
All of Ratna Ji's efforts had failed. She was about to kneel before Dhruv's stubbornness when Grishma said, "But I agree with Mummy Ji. I have no problem doing this ritual."
Hearing Grishma's words, there was a smile on Ratna Ji's face, while Dhruv and Tara were both looking at her in surprise.

Ratna ji was trying to convince Dhruv and Grishma to perform the ritual related to the veil during the wedding rounds. Dhruv had outright refused to do it. Ratna ji was about to agree with him when Grishma agreed to perform the ritual.
"What are you saying, Grishma? Even Tara understood, and you... I never expected such a thing from you..." Dhruv said angrily.
"I know, Dhruv, that these are all outdated beliefs, but somewhere I am also a bit superstitious and believe in all this evil eye stuff," Grishma explained.
"But I am not going to do all this..." Dhruv was still adamant.
"Now even Grishma has agreed. Then what is your problem?" Ratna ji said.
"I will call what is wrong, wrong. It is not necessary that Grishma and my thinking match in every aspect. I respect your values, but I am not going to do this..." Dhruv outright refused to follow the custom.
Tara also felt that Dhruv was right, so she didn't think it was right to speak up.
"Can't you do this much for my happiness, Dhruv?" Grishma made one last attempt.
"For your happiness, I can do this much that if you want to follow this ritual, I will not stop you. But I am not going to do it," Dhruv said lovingly and left from there.
All their efforts to convince him had failed, but at the same time, Ratna ji was happy that Grishma had said yes to performing the ritual.
"I'll go tell Maa Sa that you have agreed to do this ritual," Ratna ji said with a smile and left from there. As soon as she left, Tara quickly closed the door and came to Grishma.
"You had a good opportunity to refuse to perform this ritual... Dhruv Sir was with you. Then why did you say yes?" Tara asked in surprise.
"You won't understand, Tara, a girl's marriage is not just to the boy, but to his whole family, where she has to get along with everyone. I also don't believe in all this, but I said yes for Mummy ji's happiness."
"But that's wrong, Grishma... You shouldn't have been forced to say yes to something that your heart doesn't agree with."
"Some things are done not for one's own happiness, but for the happiness of loved ones. Leave all this, I will talk to Dhruv and try to convince him. He must also be angry with me because of my saying yes." Grishma left from there to go to Dhruv.
Tara found Grishma's behavior very strange, but she didn't think it was right to say much more.
It was 11:00 at night. Dhruv was sitting in the garden of Umaid Bhawan Palace, working on his laptop. He had a mug of coffee next to him, from which he was taking a sip or two from time to time.
Grishma came to him to persuade him. She pulled up a chair next to Dhruv and sat on it.
"Are you angry?" Grishma asked.
"What do you think, should I be angry or not?" Dhruv asked his own question in response to her question.
"I know I shouldn't have said yes, but Mummy ji was very lovingly asking us to perform that ritual."
"Tomorrow, if she lovingly asks you to separate from me, will you agree to her?"
Hearing Dhruv's words, Grishma became silent and lowered her gaze.
"I got my answer in your silence, Grishma. It's a good thing that you said yes for her happiness, but in the future, don't say yes to any work that your heart doesn't say yes to," Dhruv said in a stern voice.
"Dhruv, I want you to also say yes to performing this ritual," Grishma replied in a very soft voice.
"Meaning my long speech had no effect on you. Why are you girls so stubborn? Until now, I thought Tara was stupid, who would do anything without thinking, but at least that girl has the understanding to have the courage to call wrong wrong, no matter who is in front of her."
"Looks like you're starting to like Tara," Grishma asked with a slight smile.
"I've known her for the last 3 days, you know very well how many times we must have argued in these 3 days. Even after that, you are asking this question?"
"I'm not asking a question, just telling you what I felt. So what if her first impression wasn't good, but the girl is good, right..." Grishma said.
"Yes, the girl is good." While speaking, Dhruv's attention went towards the window in front. He saw Tara there and she was looking at both of them.
"Okay, leave Tara's matter, I want you to say yes to this ritual for Mummy ji's happiness. Please don't argue now. You refused the relatives to come to the wedding, because of that they are already angry. Now don't make them more angry. If not for me, say yes for her happiness," Grishma was trying every possible way to persuade Dhruv.
Hearing her words, Dhruv thought for a while and then replied with a smile, "Looks like you are going to get full points from Maa for being a good daughter-in-law."
"Meaning you are going to listen to Mummy ji?" Grishma asked excitedly.
Dhruv blinked in response to her question, so Grishma hugged him happily.
"Awww... Thank you so much, baby... You don't know how happy she will be when I tell Mummy ji this."
Dhruv separated Grishma from himself and said, "Okay, okay Baba, let's go and tell her now, so that she can also be happy."
"I'll be right back," Grishma said happily and left from there.
Dhruv smiled and went back to his work. Tara was watching them from above. The way Grishma had happily hugged Dhruv, she understood that she had convinced Dhruv.
"Finally, Grishma has convinced this grumpy person. On this pretext, I am seeing him smiling for the first time. He looks so good smiling, then I don't know why he keeps his face like a gourd."
"Tara Didi, Dhruv Bhaiya doesn't like gourds at all," Sahitya said, standing next to her.
"Still, he keeps pouting like a gourd."
"Haven't you felt any loophole in Grishma yet?" Sakshi asked.
"Yes, many times her actions seem strange to me, but then the way she explains things and keeps her logic, I trust her," Tara replied.
"But I find her very strange. She says something to you, something to Bhai and something else to Mummy..." Sakshi said.
"Yes, this time I also felt strange. She is educated abroad. The first time I saw her, she was wearing very short clothes and now saying yes to the veil ritual, this is a bit strange. In front of Ratna Auntie, she had said that she is also a bit superstitious, because of that she wants to do this ritual. She tells me that she wants to do this ritual for Mummy ji's happiness and now I don't know what she went and told Dhruv Sir." Tara was putting every single thing together.
"That's why we don't like her. She talks differently to every different person," Sahitya said.
"You are also good, your behavior seems real. But I don't know why, she seems fake to us. She tries to manipulate us by talking sweetly," Sakshi said.
"But now nothing can happen, right... Their wedding is going to happen the day after tomorrow and the next day I will also leave from here. You guys try to accept her. Who knows, then you guys might start to understand her," Tara tried to explain to both of them.
Sakshi and Sahitya both shook their heads in disapproval. They were unable to trust Grishma even if they wanted to.
"I won't be able to do much, but while leaving, I will definitely talk to Ratna Auntie about sending both of you outside for good education."
"Really?" Sahitya asked.
"Thank you so much, Didi, for this favor, but you should talk to Dhruv Bhaiya, not Mamma. He is the one who runs our house. If he says yes, then the rest of the people will have to say yes on their own," Sakshi said.
"Yes, Tara Didi, Dabbu is saying right. If we go to study outside, then on this pretext we won't have to see Grishma's face either."
Hearing their words, Tara laughed and lightly tapped both of their heads and said, "You both are crazy... Where did you get this spy mind from at such a young age?"
"From where you got it. You haven't become much older either. Even after that, you are so good. You understand everyone's point well and are very brave," Sakshi said.
"There is no need for me to apply this Rajasthani ghee to you. I will do your work just like that."
Hearing Tara's words, Sahitya and Sakshi laughed. After that, they said good night and went to their respective rooms. After they left, Tara also went to sleep.
The next whole day was spent in completing the remaining rituals of Dhruv and Grishma's wedding, where after the turmeric ceremony, there was the music ceremony.
Ratna ji was very happy to have Grishma as a daughter-in-law. The whole family also liked her. On Tara's explanation, Sakshi and Sahitya were also participating well in this wedding.
Late at night, Dhruv and Grishma met each other on the terrace of the palace when the music ceremony was over. This date of theirs was secretly arranged by Tara only. Tara was standing there, keeping an eye on the people coming and going, so that no one would come there.
She had also decorated that place very well for both of them.
"Didn't think we would be able to meet before the wedding. Tara has really done a good job this time," Dhruv said, hugging Grishma from behind.
"Yes, she is very good. Look how good arrangements she has made for us," Grishma said, looking at the decoration there, "Dhruv, please give her permission to come to the wedding... In such a short time, she has become like our family."
"No, Grishma, I know Tara is trustworthy, but if I give her permission to come, then Mami and the rest of the family will start singing their own tune. They will say that the rest of the relatives were not called and an unknown girl has been allowed to attend the wedding."
"Okay," Grishma said disappointedly.
"This sadness doesn't look good on your face. Come on, now give a sweet smile... After tomorrow, all the distances between us will be erased and we will become one." While speaking, Dhruv's lips were very close to Grishma's cheek.
Dhruv gently kissed Grishma's cheek. Grishma closed her eyes shyly.
Seeing both of them so close together, Tara turned her face away. "Both look so good together. God, please keep them together like this," she said, looking towards the sky. For the first time, instead of complaining while looking at the sky, she was asking for a prayer for someone else.

Hey Readers...!
The wedding moment is getting closer. Let's see what new explosion happens here. Stay tuned to find out. And please review as well.
The next day in the evening, Umaid Bhawan Palace was bustling with activity. It was beautifully decorated. Dhruv and Grishma were about to get married in a short while.
Due to security concerns, Dhruv had not allowed many people to attend the wedding. Despite Grishma's repeated insistence, he had not even allowed Tara to come.
Everyone in the house was busy with the wedding rituals. Dhruv was getting ready in his room. Sakshi and Sahitya were also present with him. Sakshi, being his sister, was performing some rituals.
Seeing their sulky faces, Dhruv said, "I have been noticing for a while that you both are not properly involved in any of the wedding functions. I know I didn't allow your friends to come, but you can invite them to the reception party. Now tell me, what do you want as a wedding gift?"
"You're talking as if we'll ask and you'll give it to us right away?" Sakshi said, making a face.
"Yes, like always. He never does it anyway. Why should we get insulted by asking?" Sahitya echoed her.
"Since when have you both become so mature that you'll get insulted if I say no? Okay, Dabbu, tell me which college you want to get into... and Chintu, I took away your camera last time, but this time I've ordered a best camera and good lenses for you."
"Are we dreaming or something?" Sahitya asked Sakshi, "Today our grumpy elder brother is not only talking to us nicely but also promising to fulfill our demands."
"Definitely, it must be a dream," Sakshi replied.
Hearing them, Dhruv smiled slightly and gently hit Sahitya on the head, "I have been busy for the past 2 months, that's why I couldn't talk to you both. You both sulked for such a small thing."
"We're not sulking, brother..." Sakshi replied, "You imposed as many restrictions on us as you could in the last 2 months. We didn't even get to shop properly because of your lovely wife-to-be."
"Okay, okay. I understand both of your annoyances, but let the wedding happen, then I will resolve all your complaints." Dhruv hugged Sakshi. Sahitya and Sakshi were much younger than him, so he tried to fulfill their every wish.
"Yes, we'll see about that too. Let's see how much time you spend with Grishma Bhabhi after the wedding and how much with us..." Sahitya replied.
Dhruv smiled and agreed with them. They also had smiles on their faces after talking to him.
On the other hand, Tara was present with Grishma. Grishma, dressed in a red outfit, was ready as a bride and looked very beautiful.
"I am so sorry Tara, I couldn't convince Dhruv. I wanted you to attend my wedding, but because of Dhruv's stubbornness..." Grishma stopped speaking. She looked sad.
"Why are you worried about me? Don't worry, Jeevan and I will go out for a stroll in Jodhpur."
"Who is Jeevan?"
"He works here in the palace. Last time, we both arranged a date for you, and this time too, he helped me arrange the date on the roof," Tara explained.
"Okay." Grishma said nothing more. Tara saw that Grishma seemed quite worried and was constantly fixing her makeup.
Before Tara could ask her anything, Grishma received a call and went to the other side.
"What happened to her suddenly? Every girl is happy on her wedding day, and she looks so down. Well, she should be worried, she has to spend her whole life with that grumpy man." Tara muttered.
She thought Grishma would come back soon after talking, but Grishma came back to her after almost half an hour. There were tears in her eyes.
Wiping her tears, Tara said, "I know today is a very important day for you. After today, you will start a new life away from your parents. It is natural for a girl to be emotional on this day, but please don't cry..."
Hearing Tara's words, Grishma started crying even louder and hugged her.
"I'll go get your mom. You'll feel better after talking to her." Tara said, stepping away from her and starting to leave to call Sarita ji.
Grishma walked quickly to her and stopped her, holding her hand, "No Tara... the reason for my crying is not being away from my parents."
"Then what happened?" Tara asked in surprise.
"Tara, my brother... my younger brother... he had refused to come to the wedding earlier, but now he was coming here from London to surprise us all. I just received a call. Through it, I found out that he died in a road accident." Saying this, Grishma started crying again.
Hearing her words, Tara was shocked. She suddenly sat down on the bed. "This is really bad. May God rest his soul in peace. I don't know how Sarita Aunty and Bhavesh Uncle will be able to bear this shock."
"For me, this guilt will remain for a lifetime that my brother lost his life because of coming to my wedding. I am not even worthy of going and seeing him one last time."
"You talk to Dhruv Sir. He will definitely understand," Tara said.
"I won't be able to talk to Dhruv. Nor will he allow me to. Tara, I just want to see my brother's face one last time."
"I wish I could help you somehow, Grishma..."
Grishma did not respond to her and was sitting and crying in the chair. Tara was trying her best to console her, but she kept talking about meeting her brother.
"Tara, you can help me if you want to," Grishma suddenly said.
"But what can I do to help you?"
"I know I shouldn't say this to you, but... Tara, I want to meet my brother. We both spent our entire childhood together. Today I am starting a new life, and my brother has said goodbye to his life. I have to see his face one last time. Tara, you wear my clothes, get ready as a bride and sit here..."
Grishma had not even finished her sentence when Tara interrupted her, "What are you saying, Grishma? How can I sit in your place? You and Dhruv Sir are getting married. Your family has so many wishes associated with your wedding. How can you even ask me to do this?" She burst out at Grishma in anger.
"Tara... Tara, at least listen to me completely," Grishma said, quieting her, "I am not asking you to marry Dhruv. Just to sit here as a bride. There is still 2 to 2.5 hours left for the wedding to start, I will go and come back by then too. You... you just sit here with a veil on. No one will remove your veil and see. I will come before the wedding starts."
"I have complete sympathy with you, Grishma Ma'am, but I won't be able to do this," saying this, Tara started to leave.
"Tara, today if your own sister was in my place or your own brother had died, would you have left them in such a state?" Grishma called out from behind.
Hearing her words, Tara's steps stopped right there. She turned towards her and said, "I feel very bad for you, Grishma Ma'am, but what you are asking me to do is not right. What if you get late tomorrow, what will I answer to the rest of the people about where you have gone? How will your parents react when they suddenly get the news of your brother's death?"
"Tara, I will come before the wedding starts. Even if I am five-ten minutes late, you go for the pheras. I promise, I won't let the wedding happen. I will stop it in the middle and explain everything to everyone."
"May God not bring that situation, Grishma. Now you go quickly and come back quickly."
Grishma agreed with her and left through the back door. Tara had agreed to sit in Grishma's place, but her heart was pounding with nervousness.
So, finally, the promo scene is about to come. What do you think, will Tara get married to Dhruv or will Grishma stop her in time?
Do tell in the review.

Dhruv and Greeshma's wedding was taking place at Umaid Bhawan Palace. Greeshma suddenly received the news of her younger brother's death; so she made Tara sit in her place and left.
It had been almost half an hour since Greeshma left. Tara had taken her place, but she was in a terrible state due to nervousness.
"No one has come into the room yet, but I still have an hour and a half to spend. Please, God, don't let anything go wrong and send Greeshma here quickly." Nervous, Tara was pacing back and forth quickly.
Just then someone knocked on the door, so Tara quickly went and sat on the chair and covered her face with a long veil.
"Oh, let us also see how our future daughter-in-law looks?" It was the voice of Dhruv's aunt, who had come there with his mother, Ratna.
"Absolutely not, Bhabhi. Now only Dhruv will see Greeshma's face first...that too on the wedding night..." Ratna replied with a smile.
Both had entered the room. As soon as she came inside, Dhruv's mother performed the 'nazar utarna' ritual for Tara, mistaking her for Greeshma.
"May the Mother Goddess keep you both away from every evil." She blessed Tara by placing her hand on her head.
"Okay, Jiji. Give the blessings later. The Pandit Ji is waiting for the bride for the pheras. Dhruv's rituals are done, now it's the bride's turn to come."
As the aunt said this, Ratna Ji laughed and said, "Yes, I had forgotten. Greeshma, dear. Pandit Ji said that this auspicious time is better than the one after 2:30 hours, so we thought of getting the wedding done at this time."
Hearing her words, Tara froze right there. "Oh God, Greeshma was supposed to come after 2 hours. I have to stop them somehow." Tara said in her mind.
Before Tara could say anything to stop them, Ratna Ji and the aunt lifted her from the chair and started taking her outside.
In a rush, Tara didn't get a chance to speak. She was very nervous. She called Greeshma from inside the veil, but her phone was out of reach.
"How do I tell Greeshma now? I...I have to call her here somehow." Tara thought. She stopped Ratna and signaled to go to the bathroom.
"Okay, fine, but come quickly. I'll send Sakshi to you." Ratna Ji said and left from there with the aunt. She told Sakshi to go to Greeshma.
As soon as she came back into the room, Tara removed her veil. Sakshi saw Tara instead of Greeshma behind the veil, so she was shocked.
"Tara Didi, you? What are you doing in Greeshma's dress? And where is she?" Sakshi bombarded her with questions.
"This is not the time to explain all this, Sakshi. Greeshma has gone out for some reason and she has asked me to sit in her place. I didn't know that the time for the wedding rounds would also be preponed. I can't stay here for long. You call Greeshma and tell her to come back right now."
"What's the need for her to come back? I say you only marry Dhruv Bhaiya."
"This is not the time to joke, Sakshi..." Tara said angrily, "Greeshma's phone is not reachable. I'll try one more time, if her call connects then it's good, otherwise you keep trying to call her. If Greeshma doesn't come before the pheras then you tell everyone that it's not Greeshma behind the veil, it's me."
"But if everyone suddenly finds out, they will be angry with you."
"If they get angry, then let them be. I would have told them everything now, but if her parents find out about the work Greeshma has gone for, they will be shattered. For now, I'll sit in her place...but just for half an hour..." Tara said angrily. She was repeatedly trying to call Greeshma.
"Tara Didi...please don't do all this. The family members won't be able to do anything after the wedding...but if they find out everything in between, they will really get very angry." Sakshi said.
"I can't marry Dhruv Singhania for fear of their anger. I shouldn't have said yes to helping Greeshma at all." Tara was badly nervous because Greeshma was not coming. She called her once again and this time, luckily, Greeshma picked up the phone.
"What happened, Tara? Is everything alright there?" She asked as soon as she picked up the phone.
"Nothing is alright, Greeshma. Wherever you are, come back from there right now. I don't know how all this happened, but they have talked to Pandit Ji and got the wedding time moved forward. The wedding rituals have already started here." Tara said in a nervous voice.
"Okay, fine, don't worry...you go for the pheras, I'll come by then and stop the wedding. My wedding with Dhruv will take place at the next auspicious time. Don't worry, no one will say anything to you. I'll explain everything to everyone." Greeshma explained to Tara.
Tara agreed to her words and went downstairs again with Sakshi, wearing the veil. Dhruv was already present in the mandap. He had a sehra on his face, while Tara was in a long veil. She went and sat next to him.
As soon as she sat down, the rest of the wedding rituals started. It had been almost 1 hour since Greeshma had been called, but she still hadn't come. Tara was repeatedly calling her, but now her phone was switched off.
"You can't do this to me. You have to come here and tell everything the truth. Today you should have been in my place in this mandap. I can't deceive so many people. Sakshi...Sakshi, please tell everything the truth before the wedding." Tara was thinking in her mind. There were tears in her eyes.
On the other hand, despite knowing everything, Sakshi didn't tell anyone anything. "I know, Tara Didi, that you don't want to marry Dhruv Bhaiya, but you will prove to be a best life partner for Dhruv Bhaiya. We had already explained to you not to trust Greeshma. She is deceiving everyone. It's good that she left from here in time. Now Dhruv Bhaiya's wedding is really happening with a good girl." Sakshi thought. She decided to remain silent and didn't tell anyone anything.
When Sakshi didn't interfere, Tara herself decided to stand up from the wedding. She was about to get up, when Pandit Ji said, "Now the bride and groom stand up for the pheras."
Before Tara could do anything, Sarita Ji came to her and made her stand up by holding her hand. With every passing moment, things were slipping out of her hands.
Dhruv and she had completed the pheras. Pandit Ji recited a mantra and then said to Dhruv, "Now you lift the bride's veil and give her the vermilion. Before that, pray to God for your happiness and auspicious life."
Dhruv folded his hands and started praying to God with his eyes closed. Ratna Ji handed him the vermilion box.
"When Dhruv lifts my veil to apply vermilion, everyone will know that I am present here instead of Greeshma. On this pretext, our wedding will also be stopped." There was a ray of hope on Tara's sad face.
Just as Dhruv was about to lift Tara's veil before applying vermilion, his grandmother Gayatri Ji said, "Hey, Dhruv, don't look at the bride's face. Apply the vermilion from inside the veil itself."
Before Tara could say anything, Dhruv extended his hand and applied vermilion in her hair parting. After that, he made her wear the mangalsutra.
Greeshma had not reached there yet. Unwillingly, Dhruv and Tara's wedding had taken place.
"What have you done, Sakshi? I had told you to tell everything the truth, yet you didn't say anything. Now when everyone finds out the truth, they will misunderstand me only. When Greeshma comes here...she will think that I have deliberately married Dhruv." Tara thought.
She didn't understand what was happening to her. The rest of the rituals after Tara and Dhruv's wedding were performed inside the veil itself. After that, Ratna Ji took Tara to a room, which was decorated for Dhruv and her.
"I am now entrusting my Dhruv to you. Always love him. Even though he shouts at everyone from the front, he is very good at heart." Ratna Ji said, caressing Tara's head.
After this, she had left from there. Dhruv had not come inside yet. There were tears in Tara's eyes thinking about the coming moment.
"How will I be able to face all this? In such a short time, they gave me so much affection and I betrayed them. Why couldn't you come, Greeshma? Because of you, today I will fall in everyone's eyes..." There was sadness on Tara's face.
"I won't say anything to anyone. Now you yourself will give answers to all their questions." Tara said in a stern voice and picked up her phone and started calling Greeshma.
"The number you are trying to reach is invalid, please check the number once before calling." As soon as Tara heard this, the phone fell down from her hand.
Greeshma's phone was not reachable. Tara was not understanding what to do. Just then there was a sound of someone talking at the door. Tara quickly put her veil back on.
"No...no, brother. We won't let you go inside for so cheap. Anyway, you have performed half-hearted rituals by getting married quickly. In this process, we didn't get any 'nek'. Now we don't know anything. We want the full money, we are not going to compromise." It was Sahitya's voice.
"Oh really...you both have compromised? I haven't refused you both for anything." Dhruv said and took out his wallet and put it in Sahitya's hand.
"And brother, my 'nek'?" Sakshi said.
"Oh, now are you left? You both keep roaming around together all day? Divide both halves. Come on, now go from here..." Dhruv said.
"You haven't done well with me, brother. You will incur sin." Sakshi said, making a face and left from there with Sahitya.
Hearing the voices of those people, Tara understood that Dhruv was about to come inside.
Just then the door of the room opened. She saw Dhruv had come inside. There was happiness on his face. As soon as he came inside, he first closed the door of the room and came and sat near Tara. There was a long veil on Tara's face, but the truth was about to come out in the next moment.

With Greeshma's sudden departure from the wedding, Tara, under the guise of the veil, had been married to Dhruv. Unaware of the truth, Dhruv entered the room, and seeing him, Tara shrank inside. Her heart was pounding, thinking about what was about to happen.
Dhruv came and sat next to Tara. He had a slight smile on his face.
Dhruv noticed that Greeshma was still in a veil. To make her feel comfortable, he said, "I didn't know you took these customs so seriously. Now there's no one here, and Mom said I could see you after the wedding. Then why this veil between us?"
Tara didn't respond to him. There were tears in her eyes. "I don't know how I'll face them... how can I explain why I'm sitting here instead of Greeshma today?" Tara said to herself.
"Is someone hiding in this room?" Dhruv asked, looking around. When he was sure that there was no one in the room, he moved closer to Tara and gently lifted her veil.
He saw Tara instead of Greeshma in front of him, her eyes tightly closed with fear.
Seeing her there, Dhruv smiled and said, "It must be Sakshi and Sahitya who did this. Sorry Tara, you had to sit here instead of Greeshma. I'll deal with them later. There's a limit to fun and games." Dhruv still thought this was part of the ritual, where someone else is often made to sit in place of the bride.
"Where is Greeshma?" he asked. "She must be hiding somewhere in this room, laughing at us both. You guys have fooled me really well today..." Dhruv got up and started looking around for Greeshma.
Apart from them, no one else was present in the room. Tara was sitting silently, scared. She didn't know what to say. When Dhruv couldn't find Greeshma anywhere, he asked, "Is Greeshma in another room?"
Tara shook her head no. Her silence was making Dhruv angry.
"Why aren't you saying anything? You're afraid of me as if I'm a ghost and will eat you right now. My mood is absolutely fine so far, but if you don't answer, I'll really get angry. Now quickly get up from here and tell Greeshma to come here. I haven't seen her all day." Dhruv said, controlling his anger.
Tara somehow mustered the courage and said in a low voice, "I don't know where Greeshma is."
"What do you mean? You don't know? Who made you sit here? You've worn Greeshma's clothes, jewelry, everything, and you don't know where she is? Are you serious?" Dhruv said, slightly shouting.
"I need to tell you something."
"Yes, Tara, you need to tell me where Greeshma is. Now please don't irritate me and tell me quickly where Greeshma is? Never mind... I'll find out myself," saying this, Dhruv took out his mobile and started calling Greeshma's number. Greeshma's number was invalid.
Dhruv was looking at Tara in amazement. "Where is Greeshma, Tara? We got married just two hours ago, and her phone is off already? Are you all playing a prank on me?" Dhruv started getting anxious when Greeshma's number showed as incorrect.
"I was more surprised than you are to find out Greeshma's number was invalid. I don't know where she has been for the last five hours."
"Look Tara, don't test my patience... if you haven't known where Greeshma has been for the last five hours, then with me in the mandap..." While speaking, Dhruv's gaze went towards Tara, whose forehead was filled with vermillion. She was wearing the same mangalsutra around her neck that he had put on Greeshma during the wedding. Seeing this, Dhruv's words got stuck in his throat. He was trying to speak with difficulty. "N...no... this can't be happening. Behind the veil, it was you..."
Tara nodded in response to his words. There were tears in her eyes. Dhruv still couldn't believe all this.
"You guys are playing a prank on me, right?" Dhruv asked in a very low voice.
"I wish it was all a joke, then my life wouldn't be ruined today."
"My life is ruined, not yours. Are you guys playing a game, where anyone can sit behind the veil and get married to anyone? Did you kidnap Greeshma and... did you do something wrong to her..." Dhruv was worried about Greeshma, so bad thoughts started coming to his mind. "Please tell me the whole thing."
"Greeshma received a call. Someone on the call told her that her brother had passed away. He was coming from New York to surprise her at the wedding. He died in an accident on the way. Greeshma wanted to meet him one last time, that's why she left me behind the veil and left. She said that she would come back, but she couldn't. When I called them, their number was invalid." Tara told everything from beginning to end, crying. She was relieved after putting all the things in front of Dhruv. "Believe me, I am not at fault in all this."
"You are lying, Tara, Greeshma doesn't have a brother. Hey, she doesn't even have a cousin living in New York. Greeshma's cousin brothers are so young that they are still in school. Tell me, where have you kept Greeshma?"
Tara couldn't believe Dhruv's words. Again and again, she started remembering the things said by Sakshi and Sahitya, where both of them were talking about not trusting Greeshma.
"Please believe me, I am not lying. Maybe you haven't met Greeshma's entire family. You talk to her mom and dad, they will tell you the whole truth."
"What do you think, will I go out and tell everyone that instead of Greeshma, you were present behind the veil in the mandap, so they will easily let you go?" Dhruv said, holding his head.
"I don't know anything. I am not at fault in all this, Greeshma lied to me. She made me a fool and made me sit in the wedding mandap. Now I don't know how you will deal with your family. I am going back to Ahmedabad," saying this, Tara started leaving the room. Dhruv quickly moved towards her and grabbed her hand, pinning her against the wall.
He was very close to Tara. He held Tara with both arms, pinning her against the wall. "You can't leave me alone in this situation. I don't know if you are telling the truth or lying, but for the time being, Greeshma is missing and all the suspicion goes to you. You were the last one with her. Who knows, you got her kidnapped and married me."
"And why would I want to marry you?" Tara said angrily.
"For money..."
Hearing Dhruv's words, Tara laughed loudly. "Even if you transfer all your property in my name, I would still not want to be with you, Mr. Dhruv Singhania... If you don't believe me, then go and ask Sakshi. I last spoke to Greeshma when she was with me. Greeshma asked me to return and also said that she would stop this wedding. I also told Sakshi that if Greeshma couldn't come back, then she should stop this wedding. Neither did Greeshma come back nor did Sakshi come forward to stop the wedding."
"Who will believe your fabricated story? Sakshi is a child... no one will believe her words. Greeshma's mom and dad certainly won't... everyone will think that you married me after harming Greeshma."
"But I didn't do anything like that. I am telling the truth."
"Maybe you are telling the truth, but until Greeshma herself comes and accepts this thing from her own mouth, you cannot leave from here."
Tara moved Dhruv away from herself. She went and sat on the bed. Until now, she was afraid of facing Dhruv, but now she was angry at Dhruv.
Seeing her staring at him, Dhruv said, "Don't look at me like that. I don't trust you at all. Ever since you have come, you have been messing something up. Instead of looking at me like this, think about what you will answer to the rest of the family."
"I will tell them what I told you and what is the truth. No matter what anyone thinks about me, I don't care. I haven't cheated anyone," Tara replied.
"You have cheated... if Greeshma's so-called brother had an accident, then she would have come and told me... I myself would have stopped the wedding and taken her to meet him. But that would have happened only if Greeshma had a brother."
Tara shouted and replied, "Good thing... you didn't even think about finding out about Greeshma once before getting married. You wouldn't even have asked her if she was happy with this wedding or not."
"Really? It's only been three days since you met me. You don't know anything. On what basis can you say that I didn't ask Greeshma?"
"Maybe you asked, but Greeshma didn't tell me. Now I don't know what all lies your idol of lies has told me." Tara replied angrily. Her blood was boiling thinking about the things said by Greeshma.
Dhruv got angry because of Tara saying bad things to Greeshma. "Mind your language... on one hand, you have kidnapped my wife-to-be and hidden her somewhere, and on top of that, you are putting all the blame on her."
Tara got up from the bed and came close to Dhruv and said, "You know very well, Dhruv Singhania, I am not lying. You still don't believe in Greeshma's deceit... that's why you are putting false accusations on me."
"I am not doing anything like that. Greeshma can never deceive me. The police will decide who is telling the truth and who is lying tomorrow morning."
Hearing the word police from Dhruv's mouth, Tara got nervous. She thought, "Oh God... what will happen now. If he really goes to the police, then I don't even have any proof to prove my truth. I don't even have any family who can get me out of all this trouble."
Dhruv saw that there were expressions of trouble on Tara's face. "What happened? Got nervous hearing the name of the police? There is still time, tell whatever the truth is, otherwise... I won't need to tell you how the police get the truth out of criminals like you."
"I am not a criminal. I am not lying. Why aren't you believing me?" Tara said in a slightly heavy voice.
"There are only two ways to convince me right now... either tell me where Greeshma is or bring her here. Whatever the truth is, she herself will accept it, only then I will believe you," while speaking, Dhruv looked towards the watch and said, "You have exactly three hours. Think about what you have to say to me and Greeshma's family members. And yes... until Greeshma herself comes and proves your truth, I will not let you go."
After saying his words, Dhruv lay down on the bed. Even though he was pretending to be strong in front of Tara, he was very worried because Greeshma was not there. There were tears in his eyes, which, despite the truth being in front of him, were considering Tara guilty instead of Greeshma.

Dhruv had come to terms with the truth that he was married to Tara, not Grishma. He blamed Tara for everything that had happened.
In the closed room, Tara was lying on the couch while Dhruv was sleeping on the bed. What had happened had kept sleep at bay for both of them.
Dhruv was thinking about Grishma. "Where did my love fall short that you did this to me? My heart wants all of Tara's words to be false. Wherever you are, be safe... but my mind can't believe you even if it wants to. Today, for the first time, I'm believing a stranger instead of you." Dhruv's eyes were moist.
Tara glanced at Dhruv, who was tossing and turning on the bed. "Until now, I misunderstood you. I considered you wrong. You may be an arrogant, rich businessman, but still, what happened to you wasn't right. Now, whether Grishma did this because of some compulsion or she realized before the wedding that she couldn't spend her whole life with you... only she can tell. Maybe she left the wedding thinking this way. I don't blame her... when she didn't love you, how could she spend her whole life with you? Especially not with someone like you... who wants to control everything... everyone according to his own will. Whatever the reason, she didn't do right by me. She could have directly refused the wedding. Instead, she trapped me with you." Tara's face was filled with anger. She was staring intently at Dhruv. He was quite restless.
Suddenly, Dhruv's gaze fell on Tara, who was looking at him. He got up and sat on the bed.
"You don't need to worry about me. You worry about yourself... there's little time left for the night to pass, and tomorrow... tomorrow is going to be a tough day for you."
"Won't you support me?" Tara asked.
"And why should I support you?"
"Because we're married and you promised me that you would support me in every situation." Tara also got up and sat down.
"What marriage are you talking about? This marriage happened to me through deception, Tara... I don't know about my family, but I will never forgive you for this."
"But you know very well that I didn't do this intentionally. Tomorrow, you can talk to Sakshi... she will make you believe me."
Hearing her words, Dhruv took a deep breath and exhaled. "Even if Sakshi makes me believe you, what's the use? Sakshi wasn't with you the whole time. Maybe you got her kidnapped beforehand... and she's just a child. Anyone can easily manipulate her by creating an emotional drama in front of her."
"This is too much... you keep blaming me again and again. You can't see Grishma's mistake. You don't want to see that she betrayed you." Tara said in a stern voice.
Dhruv didn't respond to her words. Seeing him silent, Tara spoke again, "Tomorrow, I will tell your family everything truthfully. The rest is up to you and your family... I have nothing to do with you people. I will go back from here tomorrow itself."
"Do you really think I'll let you leave here without finding out about Grishma?"
Hearing Dhruv's words, Tara became irritated. Annoyed, she said, "I told you I don't know about her. Tomorrow, I will talk to your family members and explain everything to them. If you need any help from me, call me."
"What delusion are you living in? Until Grishma is found, let alone going back to Ahmedabad, I won't let you take a step outside Rajasthan." Dhruv said angrily.
"You won't be able to do anything, Mr. Dhruv Singhania... you have no right to stop me here."
"Don't even talk about rights now. We are husband and wife... remember or have you forgotten? It was you behind the veil, not Grishma."
"Anyone could have been behind the veil, how would anyone know? You have no proof that I am your wife. You won't be able to stop me, Mr. Singhania..."
"Don't challenge me, Tara, or it will be very costly." Dhruv said angrily, "I haven't said much to you, but Grishma's mom and dad... my family and other relatives... they will make your life hell. The police will fill in the gaps properly. You will have to tell us about Grishma."
Tara didn't respond to Dhruv's words and turned over to sleep. Dhruv also turned his back to her and lay down. Both of them were not talking to each other. There was little time left for the day to break. Tara was getting very nervous thinking about the other people, while Dhruv was calling Grishma again and again.

The next morning, the Singhania family was preparing for the remaining wedding rituals. Dhruv and Tara were still inside.
Ratna ji and Sarita ji were together preparing for the Dev Pooja. Sakshi was also present there. Because she knew the truth, she was sitting there lost in thought.
Suddenly, Ratna ji's attention went to her. She held her hand and said, "Where is your attention, Dabbu? Look, you dropped the sindoor. You kids these days can't do any work properly." She scolded Sakshi.
"Let it be, sister ji... she's just a child." Sarita ji tried to silence her.
"What child... she's not so much of a child that she can't do any work properly. She's been sulking for days. She hasn't properly participated in any of the wedding rituals. If she doesn't understand now, when will she understand?" Ratna ji said.
Sakshi was silently looking at her. She was worried about Tara, so she didn't say anything and got up and left from there.
Her getting up and leaving from there made Ratna ji even angrier. "See... don't say anything to them. Scold them a little and they get upset and leave."
Dhruv's grandmother, Gayatri Devi, was present there. She silenced Ratna and said, "Your habit of taking tension over small things won't go away, Ratna bahu... will you tell me what happened?"
"Nothing, maa... I don't know, I've been feeling anxious since morning. I have an inner fear that something bad is going to happen." Ratna said in a worried voice.
"Now the wedding is over. Then what is there to be anxious about? Don't worry, everything will be alright." Gayatri assured her and asked her to focus on the work.
At some distance from them, Sakshi had heard all their words. "Does Mom have some kind of super power that she gets intuitions beforehand that something bad is going to happen? By now, Dhruv bhaiya must have found out that he got married to Tara didi, I mean Tara bhabhi, instead of Grishma. Why is he so quiet? By now, he should have created a ruckus here. Bhabhi will be angry at me for not stopping the wedding. The family members will be angry at her separately... Please, God ji, handle everything. All their anger is going to come on me." Sakshi was pacing back and forth in distress.
Ratna's eyes fell on her, so she called out to her, "Sakshi, if you can't do anything else, at least you can tell your brother and sister-in-law to wake up."
"I'm also surprised why Grishma hasn't woken up yet. She's in the habit of waking up early in the morning." Grishma's mother, Sarita ji, said.
"Today's morning is not like every other morning, Sarita... until now Grishma was alone, now she has Dhruv with her." Gayatri Devi said. Then she called out to Sakshi, "Sakshi, there's no need to wake them up... there's still time for the Dev Pooja. You go and do your work."
Sakshi looked at her and smiled, and said to herself, "Thank God, Dadi saved me. But for how long... my heart is beating so fast. It feels like it's going to explode right now. I'll do one thing, I'll tell Sahitya everything. Maybe he can help me with something."
Sakshi quickly went to Sahitya. He was still sleeping. Sakshi splashed water on his face to wake him up.
Suddenly, Sahitya woke up irritated from the water falling on his face. "What are you doing, Sakshi... aren't the family members enough to wake me up early, that now you've also come?"
"This is not the time to sleep, it's the time to wake up. I need to share a very important thing with you."
Sahitya reluctantly got up and sat down. "Now what important thing is left? Our mission has already flopped anyway, Grishma and bhai got married. Is Tara didi going back?" Sahitya guessed.
"No, Sahitya... I messed up big time. Because of this, all the family members, even Tara didi, will be angry at me."
"What have you done?"
"Actually, because of me, Dhruv bhaiya and Tara didi got married. Our bhabhi is not Grishma, but Tara didi." As soon as Sakshi said this, Sahitya stood up in a jolt.
He widened his eyes and said, "Look, Sakshi... don't even joke like that, that the other person gets a heart attack. In the morning, did you only find me to make a fool of?"
"I'm not lying... last night before the wedding, Grishma had gone out for some work and she had Tara didi sit behind her. She had promised that she would come back before the wedding, but she didn't come. Tara didi had told me that if Grishma didn't come on time, I should tell everyone the truth and stop this wedding. But I don't know why I didn't feel like stopping the wedding and..."
"And you brought doom upon yourself with your own hands." Sahitya said holding his head, "Who are you... I don't know you. From today, you and I have no relationship, sister... come on, get out of here..." Sahitya started pulling Sakshi out of the room.
"Please, yaar, Sahitya, don't create a drama. At this time, I need you the most." Sakshi said pushing him away.
"Did you ask me before doing this mess... did you tell me something about this? Now when everything has gone wrong, you're remembering me. Before the family members take our lives or not, Dhruv bhaiya will swallow us alive."
"That's what I don't understand, why hasn't Dhruv bhaiya said anything yet even after knowing the truth? Somewhere... somewhere Grishma hasn't come back, Sahitya."
"Look, what's done is done, but now say something auspicious. I'm worried about Tara didi. The family members will misunderstand her. We had explained to her not to trust Grishma, but..."
"Yes, you're right. Now we have to do something for Tara didi. We know we're small, so the family members won't listen to us, but for now, we have to do something to prove Tara didi's truth. She has no other proof."
"Don't worry, Sakshi, we'll handle everything. I'll go out and say that I also knew everything about this." Sahitya said with a slight smile.
"Really?" Hearing his words, Sakshi's face lit up and she quickly hugged him. "You are the best bhai... see... we will get Tara didi out of this trouble and then the family members will also accept her easily."
Sahitya nodded at her words. Both of them thought of talking to Dhruv and Tara and explaining everything to them. Sakshi and Sahitya were standing in front of Dhruv and Tara's room to talk to them.
