Bihar, a state that had held a treasure trove of history and culture within it for centuries. This was the land that gave the world its first republic, gave birth to Aryabhata, the giver of wondrous discoveries like zero, and bound the entire country together with its amazing linguistic style. It was a state where the most IAS officers and IT professionals emerged, and yet, an uneducated laborer eating Litti-Chokha could also be seen.

This was the place where the people, though they understood less English, had mathematics running in their blood. A district of this very Bihar was Madhubani, which was world-famous for its Madhubani painting. In Madhubani, there was a college, J.N. College. In the lane behind it was a house named 'Chowdhary Niwas'.

It was morning. Only a few people were visible in the lane. In Chowdhary Niwas, Narayan Chowdhary was sitting on the hall sofa. He had the TV remote in his hand, and the 'Aaj Tak' channel was playing on the wall-mounted TV. Anchor Anjana Om Kashyap was discussing the upcoming elections in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. In the temple located in a corner of the hall, Sudhira Chowdhary was performing puja.

Meanwhile, a girl, Bandhan Chowdhary, was sweeping. Narayan Chowdhary saw her and said,

"Bandhan, you lazy girl! Are you up or not?"

    Bandhan replied, "Yes, I'm up."

Finishing her sweeping quickly, Bandhan went towards her brother's room. As soon as she opened the door, her foot hit a bat. With a slight yelp, she looked down, nudged the bat aside, and started opening the room's window.

Bandhan muttered, "He sleeps with the window shut even in this heat. How does he manage to sleep?"

Then she went to her brother Keshav and woke him up, saying, "Keshav, get up. Quickly! Father is getting angry."

Keshav mumbled, "Sister, I'm getting up. You go. I'll be there in five minutes."

Bandhan shook him, saying, "No way, man. I'm not going anywhere until you get up. Otherwise, Father will tell you like last time that I didn't wake you up. Now come on, get up quickly, or else..."

Keshav said sleepily, "Or else what?"

Bandhan said, a bit louder, "Father! Keshav is not getting up!"

Hearing this, Keshav immediately got up and grumbled, "I'm up! Why are you calling Dad? Dad's favorite!"

Bandhan smiled and left the room.

This was the Chowdhary family, living in Madhubani. There were four members in the family—Narayan Chowdhary, his wife Sudhira Chowdhary, their daughter Bandhan, and son Keshav. It was a middle-class family with limited income, but their children had big dreams.

A little later, Keshav came to the hall after freshening up. Narayan Chowdhary and Sudhira were sitting there. Bandhan brought tea and, while serving tea to everyone, said with slight hesitation,

"Father, my graduation is now complete, and I want to go to Delhi for further studies."

Hearing Bandhan's words, Narayan Chowdhary fell silent. Sudhira gestured for Bandhan to sit. Keshav said,

"Yes, Father, let sister go. Anyway, there are no further study facilities here. And sister wants to study Public Relations, which is only possible in Delhi."

Narayan Chowdhary reprimanded Keshav, saying, "You first pass your tenth. It's your board this year, and with your study routine, you won't even pass in the next four years!"

Sudhira said angrily, "Is this any way to speak? Who knows when Goddess Saraswati might bless a child's tongue? One should always speak well. And you, don't just lecture on Keshav's studies. Have you ever seen what he's doing in his studies?"

Narayan Chowdhary replied, "Oh fortunate one! A child needs to be studious. Look at Bandhan. I didn't teach her either. In her time, there were no facilities due to lack of money. But still, she kept getting distinctions every time. And she even got tuition."

Sudhira retorted irritably, "Oh fortunate one! You didn't listen to us when we said that our fate was sealed the moment we got married to you."

Hearing them, Bandhan and Keshav started laughing.

Bandhan said seriously, "Father, what do you say?"

Narayan was silent for a moment, then said, "Look, daughter, going out becomes a bit risky. The first issue is the financial situation. Tell me yourself, are we capable? Going out means an expense of 20-30 thousand a month. If you want even a little comfort, this expense will reach 50-60 thousand. Look, if there's any online course, try that."

Bandhan was disappointed. Would she be able to study in Delhi?

What will happen next in this story? Stay tuned with Bandhan (A Limit).

    Bihar (Madhubani)

    Chaudhary Residence,

Narayan Ji finished speaking and fell silent. Everyone sat in silence. Sudhira Ji also sat calmly; she couldn't understand what to say in this situation. Bandhan sat silently, lost in her thoughts. But there was someone who couldn't bear this silence, and that was our dear Kesav, who didn't like silence at all.

Kesav (breaking the silence) "Papa, let Didi go. We'll manage to arrange the money somehow. And if Didi stays there, then when my board exams are over, I'll also move to Didi's place for further studies."

Sudhira Ji (irritated) "You try to fit in everywhere. First, pass your 10th grade."

Bandhan sat in sadness. Seeing her, Narayan Ji spoke.

Narayan Ji (to Bandhan) "Look, if there's an online course, you can do it online."

Bandhan (looking at Narayan Ji) "Father, I'll find an online course, but I also want to see real life. I want to see how people live in big cities, how they work in offices, and how they make life better. I want to experience every phase of life, handle real-life problems myself."

Sudhira Ji (to Bandhan) "You're not old enough to do all this by yourself. And how can we let you go to Delhi alone? The environment isn't good even in villages or cities like Madhubani. There are incidents happening everywhere, and Delhi is a metropolitan city; who knows what the situation will be there?"

Bandhan (calmly) "Mother, what you're saying is right, but the world is only going to get worse, and it won't get better. So, there's no cure for it. But can't we move forward due to fear of what might happen? We can't give up moving forward because of this. We can fight these situations and move forward by fighting. I also want to fight and move forward with the times."

Bandhan finished speaking and fell silent. Narayan Ji looked at Bandhan in silence for a while, then looked at Sudhira Ji and spoke.

Narayan Ji (to Sudhira Ji) "You bring the car keys; I need to go to the shop."

Sudhira Ji (to Narayan Ji) "First, you take a bath and finish your Puja, then go to the shop. Bandhan will leave for her computer class, and Kesav has been called to school early today. No one will be left to sit at the shop, so you finish your tasks first."

Narayan Ji got up and went to take a bath.

Sudhira Ji (to Bandhan and Kesav) "You both prepare for your classes. Kesav, set your bag and as soon as Papa comes out of the bath, you also take a bath. Bandhan, finish cleaning the house and take a bath quickly, okay? Meanwhile, I'll prepare breakfast; otherwise, your father will leave without eating."

Sudhira Ji got up and moved towards the kitchen, and Kesav also went to fix his bag. Bandhan sat like that for a while, then got up and started working. She first cleaned her parents' room, then her own, and lastly Kesav's. After that, she went to take a bath and then to the temple to pray.

Bandhan (in the temple) "Hey Bansidhari, listen to my prayer, Lord. I never want to depend on anyone. I want to be prepared for every moment of life. I need freedom, Lord, freedom of thoughts and decisions. I want to be the charioteer of my life's chariot, and you be my guide. Hey Mohan, listen to my prayer, Lord, and give my life a new color."

She finished praying and left. As soon as she left, the flame of the lamp in the temple, which she had lit, brightened significantly, as if Lord had heard her prayer and this was a sign. Everyone sat together and had breakfast. There were roti and potato bhujia for breakfast. Everyone had breakfast, and Narayan Ji left for the shop. Kesav and Bandhan left for their classes together. On the way, Bandhan was completely silent.

Kesav (looking at Bandhan) "What are you thinking?"

Bandhan (looking at Kesav with sadness) "It seems my dream of studying in a good college will remain just a dream."

Kesav (to Bandhan) "Why think negatively? Look, Papa is showing financial issues. If we overcome this, then... I mean, there will be no excuse left, right?"

Bandhan (confused) "What do you mean? What can we do?"

Kesav (excitedly) "And Didi, let's think about what we can't do. I mean, understand? (Bandhan nodded slightly) Oh, I'll explain. Papa said there are financial problems, so look for an online course. Now that your graduation is complete, you can work as a PA in any company. Look for a big company; you'll get a good salary job, and you won't have to attend classes daily. And you'll get to know the corporate environment."

Bandhan (happily) "What a great idea! This didn't even cross my mind. You know, being with me, your brain has become sharper. Well done."

Then she patted Kesav's back strongly.

Kesav (irritated) "And Didi, don't hit, it hurts."

Bandhan (stopping) "Listen, today we're definitely going to search for companies that have the requirements we need. And yes, stay home today, don't go out with friends; otherwise, I'll tell Papa that you went to Jaynagar to roam around on that vagabond Mohit's bike."

Kesav (folding his hands) "Yes, Devi, I understand."

So, what will happen next in this story? Will Kesav's idea work? Stay tuned to find out!

Bandhan scolded Keshav, after which Keshav agreed not to go with his friends. After walking for a while, Bandhan went to her class. Keshav's school was a short distance from there, and he too set off for his school.

    Delhi (Gurgaon)

There was an attractive multi-story building, with "Bhargavs Corporate" written in large letters on its walls. This building was the pride of the area and stood out due to its unique architecture. On the seventh floor of this building was the office of the company owner. On this entire floor, there were only four cabins—the first for the owner, the second for his assistant, the third for his right-hand man, and the fourth for his left-hand man.

The middle cabin was the owner's. In that cabin, a twenty-six-year-old attractive young man was sitting in the head chair. Directly in front of him were two chairs, on which sat two other young men of the same age. The young man sitting on the right was Agyey Thakur, and the young man sitting on the left was Rajveer Oberoi. All three were friends.

Agyey (to the young man sitting in the head chair):

"Dude Karan, how will I handle so much work alone? I mean, I don't understand, man! I have to look after projects and on top of that, your assistant's work. Hey, hire an assistant now. That fourth cabin is lying empty, at least put it to some use."

    Karan (sitting up straight):

"Come on, man, you know I don't like lazy employees. So, if you find someone who meets my requirements, tell me."

Rajveer (taking a sip of water):

"Let's apply online and offer benefits. Someone will surely be to your liking."

    Karan (flipping through a file):

"Whatever you two think is best! But yes, there's one more thing—you two will interview the candidates."

Agyey and Rajveer nodded in agreement. Just then, the cabin door opened, and a very beautiful girl walked in from outside. She was wearing a red off-shoulder one-piece dress that came down to her thighs. The red attire looked stunning on her fair skin. She was wearing high heels. Her face was very beautiful—thin lips, a long nose, and gorgeous eyes. She looked like an angel. With a lot of swagger, she came and stood next to Karan.

This was Nia Bhargav, Karan Bhargav's younger sister, who was completely spoiled.

Nia (tucking her hair behind her shoulder):

"Brother, I need your card, because I need to go shopping."

    Karan (glancing at Nia):

"But you just went shopping the day before yesterday."

    Nia (staring at Rajveer):

"Yes, but some new collections of clothes have arrived today. So, they should be in my wardrobe, shouldn't they?"

    Karan (looking at Nia):

"Nia, you're not a child that whatever comes in the market must be yours. Be a little mature."

    Nia (rolling her eyes):

"Okay, I'll keep your words in mind next time. But give it to me now."

Karan shook his head in denial, took out his card, and gave it to her.

    Karan (looking at Rajveer):

"Did something happen between you two?"

At Karan's question, Rajveer remembered what happened last night.

In Sky Haven Bar, an expensive bar in Delhi, famous for its luxury, a boy and a girl, both heavily intoxicated, were dancing in each other's arms on the dance floor. Meanwhile, Rajveer, sitting at the bar counter, was staring at them with anger in his eyes. That girl was none other than Nia.

Seeing Rajveer lost in thought, Karan waved his hand in front of him and said,

"Oh brother, where did you get lost?"

Agyey, laughing, said, "Lost in thoughts of Bhabhi? But no matter how much you get lost, you'll only find her after marriage."

Karan also laughed at Agyey's words.

Rajveer, in a dazed voice, said, "No, I'm lost in thoughts of Bandhan."

Hearing Rajveer's words, both Karan and Agyey were surprised because they had never heard Rajveer mention any other girl's name before.

Karan said seriously, "Raj! Who is this Bandhan?"

Raj sighed deeply and said, "My sister."

Karan's breath hitched at Raj's answer. He was worried because Raj was in a relationship with his sister.

Agyey asked Raj, "But you don't have a sister!"

Raj explained to Agyey, "She's my paternal aunt's daughter. She's never been here, so you guys don't know her! I only talk to her on the phone."

Agyey, flipping through a page of the file, asked, "Is she facing some problem? That's why you're so worried."

Karan was also watching Raj intently.

Raj said, looking at both of them, "No, actually, we had a fight over something, and I told her that our relationship is over! But only a week ago did I realize she was right. How do I talk to her now? That's the problem."

Agyey told Raj, "Yes, she's your aunt's daughter, so just let it go."

Raj said to Agyey, "If I don't talk to her for even a day, it becomes difficult for me to live! And I haven't spoken to her for months. And yes, she is my aunt's daughter, one whom I haven't met face-to-face in years, but still, she's such a dear girl, what can I say?"

Karan said, laughing, "Sisters are indeed dear! And don't overthink, just call her."

At Karan's suggestion, Raj took out his phone and called Bandhan. The call was disconnected on the first ring. He kept calling several times, but the call was not received.

Agyey offered his phone, saying, "Call from this number, she'll pick up."

Rajveer took Agyey's phone and called, but this time too, the call was disconnected. Rajveer became sad.

Karan said, offering him water, "Drink some water first! And wait a while before calling, she'll pick up seeing an unknown number."

Rajveer drank the water but couldn't wait. With great difficulty, five minutes passed when Raj quickly picked up his phone and called Bandhan's number again. The call was received within two to three rings. Agyey asked Raj to put the call on speaker. Raj put the call on speaker. Then a very sweet voice came from the other side of the phone.

    "Hello, hello, who is it?"

Raj said in a trembling voice, "Bachcha."

Bandhan said in an excited tone, "Bhai...... shhh....."

    Raj asked worriedly, "What happened?"

Bandhan said, scolding, "What happened is because of you. I got so happy hearing your voice and spoke so loudly that everyone around is now staring at me as if I'm some alien."

Raj said, distressed, "Bachcha, are you outside the house, alone? Where is Keshav?"

Bandhan said, calming him, "Bhai..Bhai, first you relax. I'm going home after class, and Keshav is at school. And besides, your sister isn't some beauty queen that the whole world is waiting to kidnap me."

Everyone was listening to Bandhan calmly. A sweet smile appeared on everyone's faces.

Raj said, laughing, "Besides, whoever kidnaps you will leave you back where they took you from."

    Bandhan added, "Correct!"

Just as Raj was about to say something, Bandhan's voice came again as she was talking.

"Brother, give me one plate of phuchka, and yes, make it just as spicy as your ex."

The golgappa vendor's voice came, "But I don't have any ex!"

Bandhan rolled her eyes and said, "Oh, if you don't have an ex, make it like your 'why'."

The golgappa vendor told Bandhan, "Oh dear, eat it and don't bother me."

Bandhan said playfully to the golgappa vendor, "Okay, I won't bother you today because today I'll bother my brother."

The golgappa vendor sighed and said, "My life is saved today."

Bandhan mimicked Raj on the phone and said, "By the way, brother, you know there was someone who told me, 'I'm ending all ties with you, I'll never call you again,' blah blah blah!"

Raj looked at Karan and Agyey and said, "Sorry."

Bandhan said, making a face, "By the way, you called, which means I won the challenge."

Before Raj could say anything, Bandhan's voice came again.

"Hey brother, I've been telling you to give me five. (Pausing for a moment) I'll eat all five, is eating five ice creams a big deal?"

Raj said angrily, "Your teeth will get cavities if you eat so much sweet stuff."

So what will happen next in this story? Will Bandhan's playfulness lighten Raj's mood? Stay tuned to find out in Bandhan (Ek Maryada).

    Bhargav Corporate

In the cabin, Rajveer was busy talking to Bandhan. Bandhan's sweet and childlike talk, her way of speaking, her way of talking to the ice cream vendor and the golgappa vendor—everything was very endearing. Listening to it, a sweet smile spread across everyone's faces. It was very rare to see Karan smiling too. Due to work pressure, he had almost forgotten how to smile. A smile would only appear on his face when he saw Nia, and today, Bandhan's words had his lips smiling.

Raj (scolding): If you eat so much sweet, your teeth will get worms.

Bandhan (laughing): Oh brother, even the worms know how much trouble I am, so they stay away from me.

Raj (seriously): You have forgiven me, haven't you?

Bandhan (mouth full of ice cream): Yes, I have. What will you remember?

Raj (smiling): Okay, now tell me, your graduation is done, what's the plan next?

Bandhan (getting sad): I told father that I want to go to Delhi to study further, but...

    Bandhan stops talking.

Raj (completing the sentence): So, Uncle refused, right?

Bandhan (sadly): No, he didn't refuse, nor did he give permission. The matter is stuck in the middle.

Raj (sighing deeply): So what next?

Bandhan (laughing): Let's see what happens? Whatever father says, I have to obey, right? If I do something outside of my parents' wishes, get a good job, get a good education, what's the use? I will do whatever father says.

Raj (seriously): And if he refuses?

Bandhan (seriously): Brother, if father refuses, then nothing can happen further, because Mother Sita said that any task without the blessings of parents and elders is unrighteous. I can request him, but I cannot move forward without his blessings.

Raj (smiling): Yes, my Pandit sister, I know you won't do anything wrong. But remember, career is also important, and you have to work for that too.

Bandhan (jokingly in a carefree manner): Oh brother, that plan is all set. I will marry a rich guy and my life will be set.

Raj (laughing): And who will marry you? Whose taste would be so bad?

Bandhan (annoyed): Oh brother, if girls can fall for your face, then I am still okay. Anyway, whatever you say, his taste is very bad, yuck...

Raj (slightly angry): Yes, yes, you witch!

Bandhan (jokingly): By the way, does that English madam know how to cook or will that also fall on your head?

Raj couldn't take it anymore. Bandhan kept connecting his and Nia's names together, which was bothering him.

Raj (slightly angry): Yes, okay, I'll hang up. I'll talk to you in the evening.

Bandhan (smiling): Okay brother, bye, take care.

Raj (very affectionately): Take care, child.

After this, the call was disconnected.

Karan (smiling): It seems you are even closer to this girl than us.

Raj (smiling slightly): Hmm, my little sister is like that.

    After this, all three smiled.

Bandhan put the phone in her purse and became quite serious.

Bandhan praying to Krishna: O Keshav, give wings to my flight, don't stop it. Let me fulfill my dreams like other girls. Accept my prayer, O Lord.

Thus, appeasing God and talking to him, she reaches home.

Sudhira Ji seeing Bandhan: You're here now? Wash your hands quickly and eat first, then there are some clothes to be stitched, and your father's clothes need to be pressed.

Bandhan making a face: What, Mom? Is this your work or Kubera's treasure that never ends? You've given me so much work as soon as I arrived that I don't even feel like eating now.

Sudhira Ji showing her hand like a threat: If you don't eat, you'll eat this, and yes, eat quickly and get to work. Then sit and study in the evening. Has your graduation finished? You've broken your relationship with books and copies.

Bandhan joining her hands: As you command, my lord.

Sudhira Ji leaves. Bandhan also freshens up and sits in the hall with her food. Just then, Sudhira Ji sits next to her.

Sudhira Ji to Bandhan: You know, your paternal aunt's daughter-in-law and grandson are getting divorced.

Bandhan, startled: Huh...? Who? The one from Mumbai, her?

    Sudhira Ji nods in affirmation.

Bandhan: But it was their love marriage, so why is there a divorce?

Sudhira Ji making a face: So was it a love like Krishna and Rukmini's that it would last like this? Didn't I tell you earlier that this love marriage wouldn't last?

Bandhan listening eagerly: Yes, but how did you say that?

Sudhira Ji adjusts herself and sits: Firstly, the girl has always lived in Delhi, so it's like climbing a mountain for an English girl to adapt to our Bihari ways. Where she always lived in a small family, and where there is a large family from the village? It's not manageable for a Delhi girl. She needs a Bihari for that.

So, what will happen next in this story? What colors will time bring into Bandhan's life? To know, stay tuned with Bandhan (A Limit).

    Bihar (Madhubani)

Bandhan was sitting on the sofa in the Bandhan Hall and eating. Sudhira ji was sitting on the sofa next to her, talking to her. As enthusiastically as Sudhira ji was telling her stories to Bandhan, Bandhan was listening with equal enthusiasm.

Sudhira ji (making a face) "I already knew that this love marriage wouldn't last."

Bandhan (putting a morsel in her mouth) "And how did you know this, that their marriage wouldn't last? Is love marriage a bad thing?"

Sudhira ji (adjusting herself) "Oh, love marriage isn't a bad thing, but for marriage, you should look for a traditional, sensible girl, who has bookish knowledge and also works swiftly. But she is educated in an English school! And she speaks English in every sentence as if she came from England, not India. And anyway, she has always lived in a small family, will she be able to manage the work and rituals of Bihari festivals? English speeches don't work there, it's the skill of the hands that works. Oh, when you have to prepare the Chhath prasad in one go, you understand who is who. And is it easy to master the tune of the songs sung by the 'aai-maai' during weddings? When the tune of Samdaun and Sohar is picked up, even the best sweat it out."

Bandhan (drinking water) "So, it means that only a Bihari daughter-in-law can manage well in a Bihari family, this 'daddy's angel' is not capable of it."

Sudhira ji (getting up from there) "Yes, of course! And you too, eat quickly and finish all your chores because clothes also need to be stitched, understand?"

Bandhan just nodded her head in affirmation and started eating quickly because she had work to do, and clothes to stitch. Only after completing these tasks could she do any other work. The meal was finished.

Bandhan (to herself) "I've eaten, now I'll quickly finish all the chores so that I can be free in the evening and search for companies."

Saying this, she quickly went into the kitchen, put the dishes in the sink, and started washing all the dirty dishes spread in the kitchen. Her hands were working very fast, indicating that this was her daily routine.

    Delhi (Gurgaon)

    Bhargav's corporate

Karan was sitting alone in his cabin, working. Agneya and Rajveer had also gone to their respective cabins. Wearing a white shirt and black pants, Karan was seated in the head chair. Both his hands were on the table in front of him; one hand was on the laptop keys, and with the other, he was tapping on the table. At this moment, he looked extremely serious. His hair was scattered on his forehead, and a light beard perfected his look. He looked very handsome at this moment. After all, there is a saying that men look more attractive when they are working. Just then, the cabin door opens, and a girl, looking stunning in a short blue bodycon, enters. She was wearing matching blue high heels. She had light makeup on her face, but the dark red lipstick gave her makeup a heavy look. In her hand, she held a matching blue handbag. The girl entered the cabin with a lot of style. Karan looked up, and he smiled.

Karan (smiling) "Hey baby, you're looking so sexy."

Girl (laughing) "Well, I am, and Manna Khurana should look sexy because very soon I will be Manna Karan Bhargav."

This is Manna Khurana, a well-known model who is extremely beautiful, and equally fashionable. She remains in the media due to her fashion. She is mostly in the headlines due to her luxurious life and excellent tours. Manna Khurana is a name that is the voice of every boy's heart. Even the biggest men dream of Manna, but as their name is Manna, how will she be easily available to anyone? Manna and Karan are a couple. Their love, which started in college, has been a relationship for about six years. Manna goes directly and sits on Karan's lap and, running her finger over his face, speaks in a very innocent voice.

Manna (making a sad face) "Didn't you miss me? You didn't even call!"

Karan (thinking) "I did miss you, but I didn't want to disturb you."

Manna (acting cute) "Oh... how romantic."

They were talking like this, but someone was watching them from the cabin window, becoming furious with anger. And this person was none other than Agneya, who absolutely disliked Manna. Just then, Rajveer comes from behind.

Rajveer (seeing Agneya) "What happened? Why are you so angry?"

Agneya (showing Karan inside the cabin from the window to Rajveer) "I don't understand how a guy with a brilliant mind like Karan got caught up with a showpiece like her?"

Raj (placing his hand on Agneya's shoulder) "This is what they call love, which can happen with anyone, anywhere."

Agneya (irritated) "Oh, seriously, do you think this is love? I mean, seeing this girl's drama, it feels like she's reciting rehearsed lines, as if she's practiced the same line on so many people."

So what will happen next in this story? Will Bandhan be successful? And who is this Manna? And is Agneya right? To know, stay tuned to Bandhan (Ek Maryada).

Watching Mannat and Karan, Agyeya standing outside the cabin's window was turning red with anger. Just then, Rajveer stepped out of his cabin. His eyes met Agyeya's. Seeing him so angry, he couldn't understand what was wrong. He approached him and placed a hand on his shoulder.

Rajveer (placing his hand on Agyeya's shoulder) "What's wrong, brother? Why are you so angry?"

Agyeya (gesturing towards the cabin) "Seeing this. I don't understand how someone as brilliant as Karan got caught up with someone like this."

Raj (laughing jokingly) "This is what love is! It can happen to anyone, anywhere."

Agyeya (irritated) "Really? You think this is love? I mean, listening to her drama and typical lines makes me feel like she's practiced the same lines on many people. Oh God! This is not right. Getting stuck on every thing like glue. Brother, I'm telling you the truth, if Karan marries her, his whole life will be a drama. I'm telling you the truth."

Raj (looking ahead) "Look, I don't like Mannat with Karan either, but we can't do anything. Because Karan loves her, and that's enough. Our interference won't be good in this case."

Agyeya (taking a deep breath) "Hmm, that's true. It's not right for us to interfere, but we can't let him ruin his life like this. We have to do something."

Raj (taking Agyeya along) "Hmm, for that, we need to find a PA for him who can do his work, and you can be free. Then we can keep him busy with as many projects as possible. Because no matter how much he loves Mannat, his first love is his work. So, it's easy to keep him away from Mannat."

    Inside Karin's cabin,

Mannat was still sitting on Karan's lap, and now her hands were on his face and then on his chest. As she was about to unbutton his shirt, Karan immediately caught her hand.

Karan (looking at Mannat) "Baby, don't tease me because I have a lot of work today. Okay?"

Mannat (moving closer to Karana) "We're couples, baby. One kiss is a must, isn't it?"

Karan (pushing her away) "I have a lot of work, Mannat. Go for now. We'll meet in the evening."

Karan somehow managed to send Mannat back. He stood near his table, and after standing like that for two minutes, he picked up the water glass on the table and emptied it in one breath. He sat down on the chair, running his hands through his hair.

Karan (frustrated with himself) "I love Mannat, but whenever she comes close to me, I feel so uneasy. I feel like I want to get away from her right now. Why can't I feel anything special for her? I've never felt that longing for her that I saw in Raj for Niya. Why is this? Why do I feel like I'm still as alone and incomplete as before? Why can't I bond with Mannat?"

He was getting frustrated thinking about all this.

Bandhan had finished all her household chores and was now free. She was cutting the clothes that had come for sewing. She had cut two suits and two salwar. Now she was cutting the blouse. Then, Keshav arrived.

Keshav (entering the house) "What are you always doing? This won't be of much use. It would be better to read something, that would be useful."

Sudhira Ji (entering) "Son, girls have to learn every task because it's essential for them to be perfect to run a household. So, this will also be useful for her, and what is it... even boys are learning tasks now, they also have to live alone outside, so they also need to know household chores. Because, son, wherever you go, your stomach will be with you. Have you heard the saying, 'If there wasn't this stomach, you and I wouldn't have met'?"

Keshav (smiling) "You've said it right."

Bandhan (to Keshav) "Go and freshen up quickly, change your clothes, and have something to eat. Then you have to do your homework. I have some work for you today, so be free quickly."

Keshav understood Bandhan's hint about what work she was talking about. He immediately ran to his room.

Bandhan (to Sudhira Ji) "Mother, I'll cut all the clothes and keep them ready today. If they're cut, it won't take much time to sew. I'll sew them tomorrow; I'm very tired today."

Sudhira Ji (taking the remote) "Okay, sew them tomorrow. You must be tired. I'll make dinner tonight."

Bandhan had also finished cutting her blouse. Now she was gathering everything.

Bandhan (getting up) "No, I'll make dinner, but I'll rest first."

Saying this, she kept everything near the machine and went to her room.

Bandhan gathered all the cut fabric pieces and put them in a bag. That was the bag where she kept clothes that came for stitching. She placed the bag near the machine and went to her room. Her room was not very big or fashionable; it was a small room with a bed, a cupboard, a study table, and a chair, and nothing else. The room wasn't too large, nor very fashionable, but it was very well managed. Paintings made by herself were hung on the walls. Below the paintings, in very beautiful and bold letters, was written, ‘Bandhan Choudhary’, which looked very beautiful. All the paintings were very beautiful in themselves. Most of the paintings were related to the avatars of gods and goddesses; mostly there were paintings of Krishna and Goddess Kali. There were also a couple of paintings of couples in a couple of places, which were extremely beautiful. Bandhan came into her room and lay down on the bed. She was truly very tired, but what could she do, studies and work both were important. Since her mother was mostly ill, she couldn't let her do much work. She was staring at the ceiling. A lot was going on in her mind.

Bandhan (in her mind): "Kanha, Keshava, what will my future be? Will I always be dependent on others like this? Krishna, do something! I also want growth in my career. I don't understand how a girl, after studying, just gets married and stays at home. Because I believe that you should manage the family, but don't leave your career, your hobbies. Keshava, I want growth in my career, Lord."

Just as she was thinking all this, Keshava entered the room. He had changed his clothes and was now in his home attire. He was wearing a lower and a t-shirt, and looked quite attractive.

Keshava (sitting beside Bandhan): "Dididi, wake up! Let's search if there's any company suitable for you."

Bandhan (glaring): "Did you eat or not?"

Keshava (making a puppy face): "Dididi, I don't feel like it. I'll eat later."

Bandhan (angrily): "Did you eat something from outside again? How many times have I told you that outside food is not good, but you prefer to fall sick. First, you eat, otherwise, I'll give you the same food at night. I won't eat today's meal."

At Bandhan's anger, Keshava quietly got up and left.

Keshava came into the hall. Sudhira ji was sitting there, watching her serial.

Keshava (sitting beside her): "Maa, give me some food, I have very important work."

Sudhira ji (watching TV): "Go, take it out and eat, and yes, wash your utensils after eating, because I have washed all the utensils."

Keshava nodded in agreement and went to the kitchen.

Keshava (taking out food in the kitchen): "Maa has no other work, just keep watching serials! How does she watch so many serials at once, and moreover, she remembers the story of all of them! Doesn't she get bored? And as long as the serial is on, nothing else happens in the house."

He brought his food back to the hall and sat down, and quickly started finishing his meal because his mind was still focused on finding a job for Bandhan.

Keshava (in his mind while eating): "It's very important for Dididi to get a job. Firstly, she will become self-dependent, and secondly, if she shifts, there will be no problem in my shifting."

Karan was restlessly pacing in that cabin.

Karan (troubled): "I don't understand anything! What do I want, I just don't understand!"

    Agyeya's cabin

Agyeya and Rajveer were sitting opposite each other on the sofa in the cabin. Raj was completely calm, while Agyeya was angry.

Raj (calming Agyeya): "You calm down. Look, we can't do anything in this matter, because this is a personal matter of Karan's life."

Agyeya (looking at Raj): "What personal in our friendship, man! Everything is a group matter."

Raj (nodding): "Look, I understand what you're saying. Yes, there's nothing personal in our friendship, but everyone has a personal space, no one else can enter that space, even we can't go into it."

Agyeya (angrily): "So what should we do? Just sit like this? Let that girl ruin our friend's life?"

Raj (smiling): "No, for that, first of all, issue an application for Karan's P.A., only for girls."

Hearing Raj's words, Agyeya also smiled.

Agyeya (smiling): "Okay, I'll issue the application. You send this model somewhere else through work, and keep her so busy that she doesn't even have time to call Karan."

Raj (laughing): "Okay, it will be done."

After eating, Keshava went back to Bandhan's room and saw that she was already working on her laptop, searching for jobs. Keshava also sat down beside her.

Keshava (looking at the laptop screen): "Did you find anything decent?"

    Bandhan shook her head no.

Bandhan (speaking calmly): "It's under search."

Keshav returned to Bandhan's room after eating. He saw Bandhan sitting on the bed, her laptop open in front of her, displaying a job search. Keshav sat down beside her.

Keshav (looking at the laptop screen) "Found anything decent?"

Bandhan (eyes glued to the screen) "No, not yet, but I'm still searching."

Keshav (offering a suggestion) "Let's do this, we'll check the websites of all companies, from small ones to big ones, maybe we'll find something useful."

Bandhan (widening her eyes, looking at Keshav) "You're getting smarter! That's a good idea, by the way."

Keshav (puffing his chest out) "That's my charm."

Bandhan (twisting his ear) "Don't get too cocky, or I'll beat you black and blue and make a halwa out of your charm."

Keshav (pulling his ear away) "Oh DiDi! Don't pull my ear, and let's work first."

Bandhan and Keshav checked many companies together, but some had peon jobs, while others had manager positions.

Keshav (getting tired) "What DiDi? So what if there's a manager post? Apply for it."

Bandhan (irritated) "You're truly mad! Do you even know the duties of a manager? And they are department managers. A manager should have knowledge of that department, which I don't."

Keshav (thinking) "Okay, if a manager post isn't possible, you can at least try for a P.A."

Bandhan (looking at Keshav) "Brother, the job of a Personal Assistant is more responsible than a manager's because it involves the boss's scheduling, time management, meeting planning, project handling, care-taking, and many other responsibilities. Moreover, a Personal Assistant has to maintain an aura, intelligence, and personality matching their boss's level because when you accompany your boss to any meeting, you have to match their level. And sometimes you'll attend many projects and meetings in place of your boss, so it's important. (Taking a deep breath) And you think I'm fit for this? I can't even maintain my own personality, how will I match someone else's?"

After saying this, she looked at Keshav, who was staring at her with his mouth agape.

Keshav (swallowing his spit) "When you know so much about this job, who can be more perfect than you? For this job profile."

    Bandhan (thinking) "But..."

Keshav (interrupting Bandhan) "No 'buts'. Now you will search for a job for this profile."

Just then, Sudhira Ji's voice came from outside.

Sudhira Ji (in a loud voice) "Bandhan... Bandhan! Evening has fallen. Say your evening prayers."

Bandhan (in response) "Yes, I'm coming, I'll say them."

After this, she closed the laptop and went outside, washed her hands and feet, and went for the evening Aarti. After the Aarti, she returned to the hall.

Bandhan (to Sudhira Ji) "Mom, what should I make for dinner?"

Sudhira Ji (watching serial) "Make salmon curry and roti."

As soon as she heard the order, Bandhan started to go to the kitchen. Just then, Sudhira Ji's gaze fell on Keshav, who was heading towards his room.

Sudhira Ji (in a loud voice) "Bandhan, take him along and teach him how to cook. He just wanders around aimlessly all day."

Keshav (irritated) "Mom, I have my boards! I need to study, and DiDi will manage the kitchen, right?"

Sudhira Ji (in a calm but angry voice) "Son, you can't study all day. Cook the meal, then study. Because this will be useful for you too. When your DiDi goes to Delhi, you'll have to manage the household chores yourself, just like she's managing your share of work."

Bandhan and Keshav looked at her in surprise at Sudhira Ji's words. Keshav ran and sat on the sofa, and Bandhan also sat down.

Bandhan (in surprise) "Really! Father said so?"

Sudhira Ji (smiling and patting his head) "Son, this is the specialty of your father. If you both want to study and not behave like kids, he will sell himself to educate you both. But if there is any complaint, especially from you, Keshav, he can make life hell."

Keshav (ignoring Sudhira Ji's words) "But how did Papa agree? He was saying something else this morning."

Sudhira Ji (looking at both of them) "He was saying that, but he had already decided after talking to his aunt that he would say anything further. Now you both go and cook first."

Both got up and went towards the kitchen. Sudhira Ji smiled.

Raj walked out of the cabin laughing and immediately issued a vacancy for a PA. Along with the criteria and conditions, the facilities were also briefly mentioned.

Agneya (smiling) "Oh God! Now let some miracle happen, send someone who is made for Karan, for my brother, who is for him, not for everyone like this model."

Whenever Agneya thought of Mannat, he would get very angry. In his opinion, modeling is not wrong, but to roam around completely like a model even after work, on normal days, as if she just came from a photoshoot, he didn't like that. Added to that was her way of speaking, where she mostly tried to speak Hindi with an English accent, and her excessive clinging to Karan, all these were reasons for Agneya to hate Mannat, but he couldn't tell Karan this because Karan had been made to believe that he loved Mannat.

So, what will happen next in this story? Will Bandhan really be able to go to Delhi? And will Agneya and Rajveer's plan succeed? Stay tuned to Bandhan (A Boundary) to find out.

Agyey hated Mannat. The reason was her pretense, which everyone disliked. But she had money, and her father had power, so no one could say anything to her. Because of this, Mannat was filled with arrogance. No matter how hard she tried to be good, her sweet talk often felt like thorns because her habit had become to insert money into every conversation. She couldn't show herself as normal even if she wanted to, because the arrogance of money was entrenched in her as if she were the only one who had money. But in front of Karan, Mannat would become the most innocent girl in the world so that she could get as much of Karan's attention as possible, and she did. Agyey was boiling with anger again, thinking all this.

Agyey (angrily): "I don't know when this girl will leave Karan alone. Because of her, he might stray from his goal. He should have a girl in his life who takes him to his destination, to his place, but she wants to climb the ladder of her success using Karan as a support. Everyone can see this, but Karan doesn't."

Raj came into the cabin. His gaze fell on Agyey, who was lost in thought.

Raj (sitting in the chair opposite): "What are you thinking, brother? Your mind is still stuck on Mannat. Come on, leave it, why think so much? Anyway, we can't do anything. Because Mannat's obsession is stuck in his mind."

Agyey (angrily): "This is all because of that Nia. One sister finds the right girl for her brother, and one brings such a showpiece from who knows where."

Just then, Agyey's attention went to Raj, and he remembered that Nia, whom he was talking about, her boyfriend was sitting in front of him.

Agyey (covering up his words): "What I mean is that Bhabhi is Mannat's friend. She knows all her good and bad things, but she is still involving Mannat in Karan's life."

Raj (smiling painfully): "Bhabhi... Actually, what you said is all correct, so there's no need to cover it up. And yes, don't call her Bhabhi, she is no one to me."

Agyey (seriously): "Did something happen, brother? I mean, did something happen between you two? Why are you so angry?"

Raj (with moist eyes): "Nothing special happened, leave it, just don't associate me with her, man."

Agyey (angrily): "Will you tell me, or should I find out my own way?"

Raj (calmly): "Perhaps I won't be able to keep Nia happy, that's why she..."

Before he could say anything, his gaze fell on Karan standing at the gate, who was listening to their conversation.

Karan (coming inside): "What's the matter, Raj? Why do you think you won't be able to keep Nia happy? Why did you stop talking?"

Raj (to himself): "Karan, you love Nia very much. And in your love, you are so blind that telling you anything will only increase your anger. You won't believe without proof. You won't believe what I say, so saying anything now might end our friendship."

Karan (shaking Raj): "Where are you lost, man? I asked you something."

Raj (avoiding the topic): "Oh, I am always busy with work, I don't get time for Nia, that's what I was saying. And I doubt if I can maintain this relationship, am I worthy of it?"

Karan (smiling): "No one can handle my sister better than you. She is very innocent, she knows nothing about the world. So, no one is better for her than you. Don't think too much, okay."

Raj smiled at Karan's words, but the hotel incident was still revolving in his mind. He couldn't forget that scene no matter how hard he tried.

Raj (to himself): "If only I had listened to Bandhan, I wouldn't be in this dilemma today."

Pain surfaced on his face. Agyey was watching Raj very carefully.

Agyey (watching Raj to himself): "No Raj, that's not what you are saying. It's something else that perhaps you can't say, but I will find out. Because it's about our friendship."

Karan (to Raj and Agyey): "We've only been working for a long time. Why don't we go somewhere? I mean, after a few days of refreshing, the work will be even better."

Raj (suggesting): "Okay, let's go to Manali."

Agyey (calmly): "Yes, Manali is a good place, let's go."

Karan (happily): "Okay, then let's take Mannat and Nia along too."

Agyey's face fell, and so did Raj's. He was also not happy because he was going there to get rid of Nia.

Agyey (making a face): "Let's make it a boys' trip, man, we can go on a trip with them some other time."

Karan (thinking): "This will also be good."

Karan’s trip plan was also agreed upon by Agyey and Rajveer. Because both of them were tired from working and wanted to refresh their minds a bit. Rajveer wanted to go to get over Nia’s betrayal, but Raj’s mood had changed slightly.

Raj (thinking): "In a week, we will all go to Manali. Because I want to meet my sister first. It’s been many days and above all, I had a fight with her unnecessarily, so I am going to Bihar tomorrow and will come directly to Manali from there.”

Karan (thinking): "Okay, as you wish."

Agyey remembered something and suddenly spoke.

Agyey (remembering something): "Oh yes! I have put up a vacancy for your PA. By the time we all return from Manali, your PA will also be hired."

    Karan did not say anything.

Sudhira Ji was sitting on the sofa and had just given a signal that Narayan Ji had agreed to Bandhan going to Delhi. But this matter was not yet confirmed.

Sudhira Ji (to Bandhan): "Your father is coming, you cook. I will ask again. And yes, take this one to the kitchen and get something done by them, cooking is also necessary for them."

Keshav (irritated): "Mom… I have to study. If I go to the kitchen now, when will I study?"

Sudhira Ji (glaring at Keshav): "You can study at night. Tomorrow is a holiday anyway. I know you."

Keshav went to the kitchen without saying anything.

    In the kitchen,

Bandhan was cutting vegetables and listening to songs.

Keshav (standing next to Bandhan): "Didi, what do I need to do?"

Bandhan (without looking): "Yes, there is a bowl in the flour container, knead three bowls of flour with that bowl."

Keshav (making a face): "Yes, kneading flour is the only thing left in my life now."

Bandhan (laughing): "Your life is so big that you are saying this."

Keshav (measuring flour): "Stop it, Didi! You are always in a mood to joke."

Bandhan started laughing, then Keshav also burst out laughing.

Keshav (taking flour and standing next to Bandhan): "By the way, Didi, if Dad has agreed, then finding a job is not necessary, because Dad will bear the expenses anyway."

Bandhan (becoming serious): "No Keshav! Even if father agrees, a job is still equally important for me, because I don't want to be a burden on father. I don't want my studies to become a cause of trouble for father. So, whatever expenses I can manage, I will definitely manage them.”

Keshav (taking a deep breath): "Okay, then after finishing this, we will both search for jobs again."

    Bandhan (smiling): "Hmm!"

Keshav (looking at Bandhan in his mind): "You are very self-respecting, Didi, meaning if Dad agrees, he will bear all the expenses himself, that too without you saying anything because he also knows that you never spend extravagantly. But still, you don't want to be a burden on the family. Didi, I will become like you. You are such an inspiring personality. You are the real influencer of my life."

Sudhira Ji was watching both of them from the kitchen gate. Smiling, she came back to the hall.

Sudhira Ji (thanking God): "Kanha, thank you very much for giving such good children. I have one request, keep the love between these two intact.”

Just then, Narayan Ji was seen entering through the gate.

Narayan Ji (entering): "Hari Om, Hari Om."

    In the kitchen,

Keshav had finished kneading the dough, and Bandhan had put the vegetables on to cook.

Bandhan (to Keshav): "Brother, go and study now, I will make roti."

Keshav washed his hands and went to study. Just then, Bandhan's phone rings. Bandhan looks and sees Raj Bhai on the caller ID. Bandhan puts earphones in her ears, receives the call and says:

Bandhan (smiling on the call): "Yes brother, tell me, how are you? Are you okay?"

Raj (smiling): "Hmm, I am fine. You tell me how you are? And what are you doing?"

Bandhan (smiling): "I am perfectly fine and making roti right now. If you want to eat, come over.”

Raj (smiling): "Then keep it for me, because I am actually coming to Bihar."

Bandhan (laughing): "You come forty times a day with your words."

Raj (smiling): "But I am really coming tomorrow. Mom is also coming to meet aunt."

Bandhan (becoming serious): "Really? Are you serious or joking? Is Aunt also coming?"

Raj (confirming): "Yes brother, I am really coming, Mom and I too, tell aunt."

Bandhan (becoming happy): "Then it’s fine. Now I won't be able to wait for the night. Brother, you come quickly, then we will have a lot of fun."

    Raj (smiling, but casually): "Okay."

Bandhan (seriously): "Brother, you seem troubled. Is something wrong?"

Raj (taking a deep breath): "We'll talk when I come tomorrow. I have to go home now, I am still at the office."

Bandhan (happily): "Okay brother, you come first. Bye, take care."

After this, the call is disconnected. Bandhan comes to the hall and says:

Bandhan (to Sudhira Ji): "Mom, it was Rajveer brother's call. He said that he and Aunt are coming to meet tomorrow."

Sudhira Ji (surprised): "What? They are coming tomorrow? Oh God! They are important people, and we don’t have anything decent for their breakfast or food."

Narayan Ji (calming Sudhira Ji): "If there isn't, it will be made. Don't panic so much."

Raj had hung up the phone, and Bindan was jumping with joy. There were still two or three rotis to be cooked, but Bindan couldn't wait any longer. She reduced the flame on the gas stove and rushed to the hall, where she saw Sudhira Ji and Narayan Ji already seated and engaged in a heated argument.

Sudhira Ji (to Narayan Ji): "Why don't you turn off this news?"

Narayan Ji (to Sudhira Ji): "It's good to listen to the news; we get to know what's happening in the country and the world."

Sudhira Ji (irritated): "If my serial gets missed, how will we know what's happening in the country and the world?"

Bindan watched the argument between the two and took a deep breath, looking upwards.

Bindan (to God): "Is there no show that Papa and Mummy can watch together without fighting?"

Shaking off her thoughts, she entered the hall and exclaimed joyfully:

Bindan (excitedly): "Mummy, Papa! Raj Bhai called. He said they're coming here tomorrow to meet us all."

Sudhira Ji (startled): "What? They're coming tomorrow? Tell me more."

Bindan (making a face): "So what's the big deal?"

Sudhira Ji (panicked): "It's a big deal! The house is empty, and we need to arrange food and snacks for them."

Narayan Ji (unfazed): "It'll get done; there's no need to get so worked up."

Sudhira Ji (irritated): "You just sit there and talk! When I was telling you about the preparations, you said it's all unnecessary expenses. Now it'll get done; go and get all the items on this list."

Narayan Ji (startled): "Now? I'll go in the morning; it's too late now. All the shops are closed."

Sudhira Ji (angrily): "No shop is closed; go now."

Narayan Ji looked at Bindan with a helpless expression.

Bindan (smiling): "Mummy, make the list first; Papa Ji will get everything in the morning. I'll finish cooking the rotis."

As she spoke, she remembered she had left the rotis on the griddle. She rushed to the kitchen and saw that one roti was burnt. Bindan made a face and put the roti aside, then cooked another one and quickly finished all the cooking. She covered the food and washed her hands before leaving the kitchen. As she entered the hall, she remembered something and went to her room. A few minutes later, she returned with a pen and notebook.

Bindan (flipping the pages): "Mummy, tell me what to buy; I'll make the list. Papa Ji will get everything in the morning, and we can avoid the hassle."

Sudhira Ji (to Bindan): "Write down: a packet of namkeen, biscuits, some kurkure and chips, and chocolates. Raj loves all these. Also, suji, maida, besan, paneer, four packets of milk, sugar, tea leaves, coffee, and vegetables. For sweets, we'll take rasgulla, gulab jamun, peda, laddoo, kajukatli, barfi, and..."

As she continued to list items, Narayan Ji interrupted.

Narayan Ji (surprised): "Enough! Is this for two guests or the whole country? This is too much."

Sudhira Ji (angrily): "When you have guests, you always make a fuss. But when my relatives come, it's too much; they'll eat up the whole country. Just sit quietly when I'm making a list."

Narayan Ji (to himself): "Since I got married, my mouth has been locked. Those days are gone when I was the hero."

Bindan remained silent, knowing that if she said anything, she'd be on the receiving end of Sudhira Ji's anger. Just then, Keshav arrived, dressed in clean clothes.

Keshav (to Bindan): "What's all this preparation for? Is it a festival?"

Bindan (happily): "No, it's not a festival. Raj Bhai is coming tomorrow, and we're preparing for him."

Keshav (excitedly): "Really? Then I won't go to coaching or school tomorrow."

Narayan Ji (angrily): "If you don't go, you'll face the consequences. They'll come, and you can meet them then. If you skip school and coaching, you'll have to leave the house."

    Keshav's face fell.

The Blue Diamond Hotel, a luxurious hotel owned by Bhargav's corporate, stood tall. In room 213, a boy lay on the bed, and a beautiful girl sat on his lap. She wore a red short nightgown with straps that fit perfectly on her shoulders. Her hands were busy unbuttoning the boy's shirt, touching his chest repeatedly. The boy lay relaxed, enjoying the moment, with a smile on his lips. This couple was none other than Mannat and Karun.

Karun (smiling): "So, this was the reason you called me? Whatever you're doing, it'll have consequences."

Mannat (smiling seductively): "You work so hard; you deserve some relaxation. I'm doing this for you, for our future."

Karun (stroking Mannat's hair): "You take such good care of me! I love you so much."

Mannat (smiling): "I love you too."

What will happen next in the story? What will happen when Raj arrives? Is Karun and Mannat's relationship as good as it seems? Stay tuned with Bindan (Ek Maryada) to find out.

The Blue Diamond Hotel (Room Number 213)

Karan and Mannat were sitting on the bed, half-dressed. Mannat was in Karan's lap, and both were sitting in great comfort. Looking at them, it didn't seem like they had come close for the first time. The lights in the room were off, and candles were burning. In the yellow light of the candle, Mannat's body seemed to be glowing. Her half-undressed state was enough to tempt any man, and she and Karan were also in a relationship. But surprisingly, Mannat, a world-class model who had received many modeling opportunities abroad and was always at the top of the list of Indian models in Canada, Australia, and Britain, had eyes like a deep sea, in which anyone would want to get lost. Every part of her body was so beautiful and perfect, as if Kamadeva himself had created her. Her skin was as soft as butter; in front of her, even butter might doubt itself. The moon shining in the sky has spots, but Mannat's face had not a single blemish. With such beauty, she was wearing a nightgown of net length, looking like a voluptuous apsara, sitting in her lover's lap. But surprisingly, while Mannat's beauty could melt anyone, Karan had her in his lap but seemed unaffected. Instead, Mannat was trying to seduce him, and Karan was sitting calmly, enjoying himself, which was quite surprising.

Mannat was moving her finger over his open chest, moving towards his lips, but Karan was still sitting calmly. Mannat had come so close to Karan that both could feel each other's breath. Just as Mannat was about to reach Karan's lips, his phone rang.

Karan (pushing Mannat away from himself)

"One minute, let me take this call, some important calls were also expected."

What could Mannat do? Karan picks up the phone from the side table and finds a message from Raj, informing him that he was going to Bihar tomorrow and had handed over all his files to Agni. The call that had just come was a missed call. Karan taps on the call, and his big papa flashes, meaning the call was from home. Karan gets up from the bed and moves to the balcony, calling back on that number.

Karan (with the phone to his ear)

"Yes, Papa, you called? Was there something?"

Big Papa (in a stern tone)

"What do you want to say? That we can only call our son when we have work?"

    Karan (smiling)

"No, I didn't mean that. I just wanted to ask if you called for something or just to chat."

    Big Papa (slightly tense)

"Again, Mom's health worsened, but she's fine now. She wants to meet you, come home."

    Karan (disturbed)

"What's wrong with Dadi? I... I'm coming home right now."

Karan puts down the phone and enters the room, where Mannat, sitting on the bed, was playing with the phone. Karan quickly buttons up his shirt, picks up his coat, and starts to leave.

    Karan (exiting the room)

"You relax, Dadi's health isn't good, I'm going. Sorry."

As he says this, he exits the room.

    Mannat (throwing the phone)

"Why did this old lady have to get sick now? She lived so long, why can't she die now?"

Now, let's get to know Karan's family a bit, as the bond's family is small, but Karan's family is large, so it's essential to meet them.

Shambhu Bhargav, the patriarch of the Bhargav family, had passed away. Uma Bhargav! Shambhu Bhargav's wife and the oldest in this house, very kind-hearted, and her word is still considered a stone-etched promise. But nowadays, she's been a bit unwell. She has two sons: the elder son, Rakesh Bhargav, and the younger son, Rajesh Bhargav. And two daughters: the elder daughter, Shakuntala Sharma, and the younger daughter, Kamini Ahuja.

Rakesh Bhargav, who started this entire business. After his father's death, he took charge of the house, arranged the marriages of both sisters, and ensured the good education of his younger brother. His wife, Sunanda Bhargav, is a good woman. They have two children: the elder son, Nikunj, who is an R&AW agent, and the daughter, Nia, who isn't clear about what she wants to do, as she changes her mind frequently.

Rajesh Bhargav is a good-hearted person and considers his elder brother as his father, respecting him greatly. His wife, Sarla Ji, is also very good. They have three children: two sons and the youngest daughter. The elder son, Amitesh, is very talented. Due to him, their business started to establish itself in foreign countries, and his wife, Prarthana, is by nature very good but a bit talkative. She works with Amitesh in the same branch. They have two children, Vansh and Vanshika, with Vanshika being the younger one.

Amitesh is followed by Karan, who has a very strong personality. Since he entered the business, he has established his company in countries where top-listed companies already exist. His girlfriend's name is Mannat, whom you all have met. After Karan is the youngest, Parthvi, who is currently a tenth-grade student and mostly keeps to herself. Besides this, there is another member in the house, Tarun, who is Kamini Ji's son but mostly stays here, although he's currently in Africa for a project.

So, this is the entire Bhargav family. Many of their characters are as written, but several people are like this, showing one thing but being something else.

So, what will happen next in this story? And what troubles will this family face? Stay tuned to find out.

Karan left Mannat at the hotel and headed home. Mannat, unable to do anything but get annoyed and curse, sat down calmly and started scrolling through her phone. She didn't care at all what had happened to Karan's grandmother. She was happily watching a movie.

Delhi, one of the most crowded and busy places, sees thousands of people arriving every day with a new dream; dreams of progress, wealth, fame, recognition, and the desire to fly in the sky with wings. Everyone who comes here has a mix of dreams, fear, and happiness in their eyes! But this city doesn't embrace everyone. It embraces those who know how to fight their destiny, themselves, and their circumstances; those who have self-love, respect, and honesty. Otherwise, countless dreams are born in this city every day, but not all are fulfilled. Some come true, some break and scatter, some are stubborn enough to gather themselves even after breaking, and some get lost in sobs. This is Delhi! They say Delhi is the city of lovers. And here, hearts connecting and breaking every day is not a big deal.

In this very Delhi, a building equipped with every luxury has "Bhargav's House" written in large, bold letters on its front wall. The main gate of the building was open, and a BMW entered with a roar. As the car went inside, the gate closed. The car went directly to the parking area. Two seconds after the car stopped, Karan got out of the driver's seat. Although Karan has a driver, he prefers to drive himself when going out with Mannat, which is why he went to the hotel without a driver today. As soon as he got out of the car, Karan ran into the house. As he entered, all the servants stepped aside. Karan ran across the hall and went into his grandmother's room; her room was on the ground floor. Karan quickly entered the room; everyone was sitting there. Karan sat next to his grandmother.

Karan (impatiently, to his grandmother): "What happened to you? Are you okay now?"

Sarala Ji (Karan's mother): "What else could have happened? She fainted. She skipped her milk in the morning and didn't take her medicine, so she must have fainted! What else? No matter how much you explain, she does whatever she wants."

Grandmother (making a face): "Yes, daughter-in-law, don't act like a doctor! (Looking at Karan with a pitiable face) Look, son, Prarthana is a working woman, she goes to the office and still manages the household work. But what work do these two (pointing to Sarala Ji and Sunanda Ji) have? Nothing at all, just sit and break the sofas! If these two don't take care of me, I will keep fainting like this. That's why I'm telling you, you get married now and bring a daughter-in-law home. Only then will your wife take care of me, and perhaps I will survive. Otherwise, your mothers have made a complete plan to kill me. Prarthana will manage the house, and your wife will take care of me."

Before Karan could say anything, Parthavi spoke up.

Parthavi (laughing): "Then you won't get better, Grandma, because brother's girlfriend won't even pick up a glass of water herself."

Prarthana also chuckled at Parthavi's comment.

Sarala Ji (angrily): "Parthavi! Do you have any manners or not?"

After hearing Sarala Ji's scolding, Parthavi fell silent. Meanwhile, a smile appeared on Karan's face. Then the grandmother gestured for everyone to leave; everyone went out. Now, only the grandmother and Karan were in the room.

Grandmother (to Karan): "Look, son, all I want is for you to get married, to a girl who is domesticated, understands family and traditions, respects her in-laws and elder brother-in-law, and stands by you firmly at every turn of life, giving you love and respect. And none of those qualities are present in that drama company. So listen, I don't know what your relationship is with this girl. But you will marry someone who meets my conditions."

Karan (smiling): "That's a matter for later. You rest now. It's okay to think about it later."

So what will happen next in this story? What will Karan do? Will Karan and Mannat's relationship break? To find out, stay tuned to Bandhan (Ek Maryada).

Dadi had given Karan a clear warning that Mannat could not be the daughter-in-law of this house. The reason was that only someone who could fulfill her conditions would become his wife.

    Karan (smiling)

"Dadi, this is all something to think about later. Think about it later, rest for now."

He said this and had her lie down comfortably on the bed, then he himself came out of the room. As soon as he stepped out, he remembered Dadi's words.

    Karan (to himself)

"What's wrong with me? I mean, Dadi stopped me from marrying Mannat. She didn't accept any relationship between Mannat and me, but I didn't feel bad about what she said. Why am I not scared that my relationship with her might break? Like I fear for Mom, Niya, and my family, why don't I fear for her?"

Karan was confused. Whenever Mannat's name came up, he got entangled in a dilemma. He couldn't understand what was right and what was wrong. Karan was still puzzled when Sarla Ji came to him.

Sarla Ji (placing her hand on Karan's shoulder)

"Is Mom stopping you from being with Mannat? Don't worry, beta. She'll agree. Give her some time. Her thinking is old-fashioned; she doesn't like modeling, that's all. I'll make her understand. By the way, I have something to say (Karan looks at her). I'm proud of my son's choice. It's a very good choice."

    Karan smiled.

    Karan (smiling)

"Mom, I'm not worried. Don't worry about me, okay."

He said this and walked towards the lift. Karan's room was on the second floor, and there was a lift and stairs to go to any floor in the building. He entered the lift and pressed the button for the second floor. In a few seconds, the lift door opened on the second floor, and Karan stepped out. There were a total of six rooms on this floor. The first room belonged to Amitesh and Prarthna, the second to Parthvi, the third to Karan, the fourth to Niya, the fifth to Nikunj, which was usually closed, and the sixth to Tarun, which was currently closed since he was in Africa. As Karan walked, he came to the door of his room, which had a scanner above it. He placed his left palm on it, entered the password, and the door opened. Karan's room password and the scanner were known only to Niya and Mannat. As soon as the door opened, Karan entered the room. The room was very beautiful, but its interior was quite bold, in red and black, which was Mannat's preference.

Karan looked around the room. Two large paintings hung on the wall opposite the bed; one was of Niya smiling, and the other was of him and Mannat sitting close. Karan glanced at the photos and went to the washroom. After a few minutes, he came out wrapped in a towel. Water dripped from his body, and droplets from his hair trickled down his neck and onto his body, getting stuck in the towel around his waist. His slightly red lips also had water droplets that could attract any girl. He quickly took out casual clothes from the wardrobe, put them on, and lay down on the bed with a Bluetooth in his ear. He tapped on his phone's Pocket Novel and started reading his favorite story, Mohini (Pyas Khoon Ki), written by Shalini Chaudhary.

Karan (reading the story, to himself)

"Is reincarnation real, or is it just a story? Whatever it is, this story is becoming an addiction for me. I must read it. The writer has made the character of Aishwarya very strong. If all girls in the country become like her, the country will be on its way to becoming a world guru again."

As he read, he smiled. After reading about ten chapters, he felt calm and refreshed. He got up and came out of his room. It was now time to eat, and everyone was seated at the table. Karan also sat down in his chair.

    Karan (as he sat down)

"Nikunj, when did you arrive? And is the work you went for complete?"

Nikunj (with a mouthful of food)

"Hmm, the work is done, and I arrived just ten minutes ago."

Karan was sitting next to Nikunj when his attention wandered.

    Karan (scanning the room)

"Where is Niya? I don't see her. Doesn't she want to eat?"

    Sunanda Ji (laughing)

"She's with her friends today, at a party, and will stay at her friend's house tonight."

    Nikunj (sighing)

"There shouldn't be so many parties and friends. It's not good to stay out at night."

    Sunanda Ji (angrily)

"Nikunj, Niya is now grown up; she's not a child. And please keep quiet because your thinking is very narrow. I've never seen such a limited mindset. You're not like today's children. There's still so much ahead. If she's happy now, why should I take away her happiness? My daughter has endured a lot already. So, it's better if you keep your mouth shut about her matters. And as much as your stature allows, my daughter spends more on makeup than that. Her company has now reached an international level. So, don't give advice on her matters. She's the boss, not a servant like you."

Nikunj, in anger, flipped his plate of food and walked away.

So, what will happen next in this story? Why is Karan confused? What happened to Niya? And why did Sunanda Ji behave like that with her own son? Stay tuned to find out - Bandhan (Ek Maryada).

Sunanda ji had reprimanded Nikunj just to offer a suggestion, causing Nikunj to angrily throw his plate and storm into his room. In the dining area, everyone’s eyes were fixed on the thrown plate. Nikunj had barely put the first morsel in his mouth when Sunanda ji started scolding him, and now the plate lay on the floor.

Rakesh ji (angrily) "Sunanda ji, what have you done? Do you have any sense at all? Nikunj is no longer a child that you should behave like this with him! And what did he say wrong? Don't you think Nia has been out too much lately? And don't forget, the company you're talking about isn't solely Nia's hard work. From the company's startup to its establishment and its growth into a brand, it has been Prayer's hard work more than Nia's. Which investor to bring into the company, what kind of clients to bring, how to retain them? How to open new branches and how to expand the company's reach into the international market – all this is Prayer's hard work, not Nia's. Everyone sitting here knows that Nia just goes to sit on the company's chair, nothing more. So please, it's better if you don't threaten me with this company to my son. Because Nikunj has worked hard for his career himself. Today he is the top-listed officer in RAW due to his own efforts. Therefore, it’s better not to compare my diamond with anyone."

The entire atmosphere there had been ruined. Sunanda ji started crying. Then Karan tried to handle the situation.

Karan (to Rakesh ji) "Papa, don't be angry. Leave all this. You eat your food. I'll go call Nikunj."

As Karan got up, Parthavi spoke.

Parthavi (to Karan) "Brother, you don't go. There's no point in going. Brother won't come. He must be very angry right now, and if he says something in anger, it's better you don't go. I'll go. I'll take his food and feed him in his room."

Karan sat down, and Parthavi, with a plate of food, headed towards Nikunj's room.

Meanwhile, everyone was eating their food silently.

Karan (to himself) "Actually, Nikunj is right. Times are bad. It's not safe to be out all night in such times, especially my Nia is so innocent that anyone can fool her. As soon as Raj and Nia get married, my worries will be over."

Everyone had finished eating, and Bandhan had cleaned up all the work. She was washing the dishes. About ten minutes later, she finished her work, turned off all the lights in the house, and went to her room and turned on her laptop. Just then, Keshav also arrived, and they were visiting websites. About an hour passed, but Bandhan wasn't liking any of the conditions and was rejecting them.

Keshav (irritated) "Dididi, what do you want to do? I mean, you don't have experience, so you'll have to do an internship, and interns don't get more stipend than this. At least select one."

Bandhan (to Keshav) "Yes, I also know that I won't get more than this as an intern, but think, what will this ten thousand rupees do in a city like Delhi? Room rent is more than this, and anyway, whoever Papa is talking to will also have to pay rent, right?"

Keshav nodded in agreement and got back to his work. A little later, he saw a vacancy for the PA post from Bhargav Corporate.

Keshav (happily) "Dididi, look at this! This is a vacancy from Bhargav Company, for the PA post. And the criteria are that the candidate should have knowledge of the English language and management knowledge, and no degree is mentioned. Moreover, the salary starts from fifty thousand."

Bandhan (making a helpless face) "But this company is very big, and am I fit for it? You think, I mean, its starting salary is fifty thousand, so why would they hire me? Because I'm an intern, and they should hire someone well-educated for this job. Why would they hire me?"

Keshav (irritated) "You think too much. Think and work, and work more. Now apply for this, and we'll see what happens."

After this, Keshav applied. Bandhan could now only wait.

Keshav browsed various websites on his laptop for a long time, checking job vacancies, but he couldn't find any suitable jobs. Suddenly, Keshav's eyes fell on the Bhargav's Corporate website, where he saw some job options. He quickly clicked on the link and went to the website, where there were vacancies for many jobs, but each had some criteria that didn't match his qualifications. Then, Keshav's attention was drawn to a vacancy for the P.A. post. When Keshav checked it, the criteria stated that the candidate must be a graduate from any stream. After that, he should have a good command of Hindi and English, possess basic computer knowledge, and their speaking style and personality would be tested in the interview. Along with this, the starting salary for this post was fifty thousand, with the company providing a flat to the employee and also covering their transportation expenses. Seeing this, Keshav jumped with joy.

Keshav (jumping with joy): "Sister, look at this amazing job offer! And it pays more, plus the company is covering the house and transportation expenses."

Bandhan, whose eyes were closing due to sleep, suddenly opened them. She started reading the details with wide eyes.

Bandhan (sadly): "The offer is good, but how many people will go? I won't get selected."

Keshav (angrily): "Yes! You already know you won't get selected, and if you don't, you don't. What are they going to do, snatch your property?"

Saying this, Keshav filled out the form, and Bandhan just sat there with a dejected expression.

Bandhan (to Keshav): "Okay, let's see what happens?"

Keshav (smiling): "Everything will be fine. Now go to sleep, I'm also feeling sleepy, and Raj Bhai is also coming tomorrow. Good night."

    Bandhan (smiling): "Good night."

After this, Keshav went to his room, and Bandhan got off the bed, went to the washroom outside, then came back, locked the room, set the morning alarm, and slept.

    Delhi (Bhargav's house)

Parthavi stood outside Nikunj's room with a plate of food and repeatedly rang the doorbell, but no one opened the door from inside. Finally, Parthavi managed the plate herself, typed the password, and as soon as the password was entered, the room unlocked. She went inside, but Nikunj was not in the room. Parthavi looked around and then saw Nikunj in the balcony, calmly looking at the sky. Parthavi went to the balcony with the plate of food and said, placing the plate on the table—

Parthavi (to Nikunj): "Brother, come and eat. You know how much everyone at home dotes on Niya, so why get so upset about it?"

Nikunj (angrily): "But it's not necessary to compare her and me every time. In career matters, she did what she pleased, and I did what I pleased. Why am I disrespected like this?"

Parthavi (standing next to Nikunj): "Let it go, brother. What will all these things achieve anyway? But if you don't eat, it won't be good for your health. Understand?"

Nikunj (controlling himself): "What did I say wrong? Didn't I think good thoughts? Then why does Mom always scold me? If I had given up my choice and come into the business, they would have liked it more. What kind of thinking is this?"

Parthavi (bringing Nikunj to the table): "Leave all this and eat, because I challenged everyone downstairs that you would eat from my hands, so please save my honor."

Parthavi said with a cute face, and Nikunj smiled. Parthavi also started smiling and broke a piece of roti from the plate, dipped it in the vegetable, made a morsel, and fed it to Nikunj with her own hands. Nikunj became a little emotional, and his eyes welled up. He ate silently because he couldn't refuse Parthavi, even though he wanted to.

Nikunj (in his mind): "The one who should have maturity is still acting like a child, and the one who should have childishness has become so mature. It's all happening because of these family members."

Parthavi (putting a morsel in her mouth): "Brother, by the way, when are you leaving? I mean, when do you have to go back to duty?"

Nikunj (thinking): "I have to go back in two weeks, why?"

Parthavi (hesitantly): "Brother, actually, I wanted to tell you something. But maybe you'll scold me because if I tell anyone else at home, they might just throw me out of the house."

Nikunj (seriously): "Yes, tell me! What do you want to say? I'm listening."

Parthavi (taking a deep breath): "Brother, a few days ago, I heard Niya talking to someone. It feels to me like Niya is cheating on Rajveer brother. Moreover, one day I saw them very close to another boy in the mall."

Nikunj (taking a deep breath): "Look Parthavi, you've told me, but don't say this anywhere else, okay? Because no one at home will believe you, and on top of that, my situation will be like yours, where there will be no respect. So, get this out of your head and study, and let the girl do what she's doing because she's the one who will suffer, not someone else."

After this, Parthavi became quiet and ate silently. Their meal was finished in about fifteen minutes, and she collected all the plates and took them away. Meanwhile, something was going on in Nikunj's mind; he was lost in deep thought.

Meanwhile, in Delhi's grand and luxurious hotel, "The Dream Night," songs were playing at their peak on the DJ, and everyone was swaying and lost in their own world on the dance floor. Rivers of alcohol were flowing, everyone was lost in their own enjoyment. This party was for businessman Riyansh Thakur, and the party was now at its peak. There was a luxurious hotel called 'The Dream Night' in Delhi, which belonged to Bhargav Corporate. In this hotel, Riyansh Thakur, the rival of Bhargav Corporate, had organized his birthday party which was going on on the first floor. Before Karan entered business, Riyansh sometimes used to come first, but Karan's arrival had changed the history of the business world. The Bhargav family and most companies operated in the same sector, but Karan had established his hold in almost every sector. This was the reason why Karan had reached the top and his name became known in every field. Riyansh was jealous of Karan's success. The party was supposed to continue all night, even after cutting the cake. Niya had come to this party with her secret lover, Tushar Thakur. Tushar was Riyansh's younger brother, and the same young man with whom Niya was cheating on Rajveer. Niya was dancing with Tushar on the dance floor.

However, in room number 154 of the same hotel, a young man and a young woman had crossed their limits while drunk. Their clothes were scattered on the floor of the room, and the room's furniture was also in disarray. Then the young man lay straight, revealing his face. It was Riyansh Thakur, and the young woman sleeping beside him also turned to the other side, revealing her face – it was Mannat Khurana.

Riyansh (in a tired voice): "If you even try to reach Karan's bed again, I will give you even greater pain. Next time."

Mannat (in a pained voice): "I was only going to do your work, what is my fault in this?"

Riyansh suddenly moved over Mannat and, trembling with anger, said:

Riyansh (angrily): "My work! You were doing my work, like this? I told you to ruin him, but that doesn't mean you go to his bed. Keep one thing in your mind, I don't touch used things, I throw them in the dustbin, and definitely not Karan's leftovers."

Mannat (in a trembling voice): "Okay, okay, I'll be careful next time."

Riyansh (with a devilish smile): "Now that's my beloved talking, stay like this, you look good obeying me, you'll be very happy."

Just then Riyansh's phone started ringing, and he quickly picked it up. The caller ID showed 'Wife', reading which a sweet smile appeared on Riyansh's face. Riyansh glanced at Mannat, then at his phone.

Riyansh (smiling): "My love is calling, now since it's the wife's call, I have to receive it."

He received the call and put it on speaker. A girl's voice came from the other side.

Girl (slightly angry): "I am very upset with you Riyansh, it's your birthday today but still, you are not with me, and you refused to come to the party. This is not fair. I mean nothing to you."

Riyansh (very lovingly): "Love, I am coming home, and anyway, today's night cannot be special without you. I had work, so I came, it was necessary to give the party, and yes, Simran, keep one thing in mind, you are the most precious thing in my life, and if you say anything like this again, I will be angry, and I won't relent this time."

Simran (very lovingly): "You can be angry later, first, pacify your angry wife. Tell me one thing, is this about some girl outside?"

Riyansh became nervous at Simran's words but did not let fear show on his face.

Riyansh (trying to handle the situation humorously): "And what if it is?"

Simran (angrily): "Remember, I'll throw you out, I won't let you enter the house, and moreover, I'll get a gun and shoot you first, then myself."

Riyansh (getting up from the bed): "Oh, my Rani of Jhansi, no need to do anything, I'm coming, understand? Now I will only come and pacify my dear wife."

He cut the call and started getting dressed. Mannat lay on the bed watching Riyansh.

Mannat (to Riyansh): "Do you love your Simran so much? What if she finds out about us?"

Riyansh, still lost in Simran's words, turned his attention to Mannat sleeping on the bed.

Riyansh (angrily): "Well, Miss Khurana, love is for those who deserve it. No one will love you because you are here today, who knows where you will be tomorrow. And you know, today for the first time in my life, I made a mistake, and that is getting physical with you. I know I have cheated on my wife today, but I cannot lose her at any cost. And yes, she is my wife, so call her Mrs. Thakur, you don't have the status to take her name. And one more thing, if you think you will tell her this and do as you please, then remember, if my wife doesn't talk to me for even a single day because of you, then you will finish."

He turned and started to leave.

Mannat (with full confidence): "And what if you fall in love with me? Because once someone touches me, the other woman in the world starts to seem dull, and then it doesn't matter if it's your wife!"

Riyansh (turning back angrily): "Love, never with you. And yes, as for my wife, she will always be in my life. You see, Miss Model, you think you are a beauty queen, but in reality, these wives covered in sarees, their touch cannot be beaten by anyone for a husband, because a wife is a wife, and no sensible person, let alone me, can fall in love with you. See, Karan will also leave you in the end."

Saying this, he left the room with hatred in his eyes.

So what will happen next in this story? What work is Mannat going to do for Karan? To know, stay tuned with Bandhan (A Limit).

    Delhi (The Dream Night)

Riyansh stormed out of the room, his anger evident on his face. Mannat, still fuming from Riyansh's words, struggled to sit up. Her face was red with rage, and she was crumpling the bedsheet in her hands.

Mannat (angrily): "Nothing like that will happen, Mr. Riyansh, never. Because Karun is mine and will remain mine. And no matter what I do, he'll never find out, as he trusts his sister Niya completely, and she's dancing on my strings. So, Karun's past, present, and future are all mine."

Mannat spoke with conviction, confident that her beauty could make anyone hers, that she could make anyone do her bidding. Meanwhile, Riyansh had already left the hotel and reached the parking area, where he got into his car. As he grasped the steering wheel, he muttered to himself.

Riyansh (irritated): "How did I let her provoke me so much? I lost my cool. But no matter what, I won't let Simran go. I need to ensure that this girl doesn't play any tricks. And another thing that's bothering me - Karun may be my rival, but he's incredibly intelligent. So, how did he get entangled with this drama queen? Doesn't he see her overacting? Oh God! Please don't let this girl ruin Karun's life; otherwise, my rival will go crazy, and defeating a madman isn't fun. The enemy should always be on an equal footing."

As he pondered, his phone rang again. Riyansh picked it up to see "wifey" displayed on the screen. A smile spread across his lips.

Riyansh (answering the call): "I'm coming, I'm on my way."

Simran (irritated): "Riyansh, I'm really upset with you. You can try to convince me all you want, but I won't listen. So, there's no need to come. Stay with your friends; they're more important. What am I to you? So, there's no need to come."

Riyansh (smiling): "Alright, I'll just enjoy here then. I was thinking maybe you'd be upset, so I was coming, but... okay, bye."

He hung up and drove off with a smile.

    Bhargava House

Karun was in his room, still reeling from the conversation at the dining table. He disapproved of Sunanda's behavior towards Nikunj.

Karun (to himself): "Nikunj was right. Why did Badi Ma scold him? He works day and night, knows how bad the situation is, especially for the girls, and Niya is so innocent."

Karun was worried about his sister's well-being, wondering how she'd survive in such an environment. However, he was unaware that his sister was not an innocent girl but a clever and cunning fox.

    Oberoi Mansion

Rajvir was packing in his room, as he and his mother, Rachna, were leaving for Bihar the next day. Raj had almost finished packing and sat on the bed to rest. A large photo of Niya and him hung on the wall right in front of the bed. In the picture, Niya was sitting on his lap, wearing a mini-skirt, her hair tied in a high ponytail, and pouting for the camera. She looked adorable. Raj gazed at the picture.

Raj (with anger and hatred): "Bindhan was right; one should investigate properly before giving their heart, before considering someone as their life. I should have listened to her. She was right; despite being young, she showed maturity. She's mentally so stable. If I'd paid attention to her then, I wouldn't have been cheated on today. Understood? Cheated on."

Raj's heart was aching so much that he couldn't bear it anymore, and tears began to well up in his eyes. He became highly emotional, feeling as though he'd been played with like a toy and then discarded. Just then, the door opened, and Rachna walked in.

Rachna (approaching Raj): "Beta, is everything packed? And tell me, did you get something for Bindhan and Keshav? What I give from my side is one thing, but as their big brother and someone who earns, it's your duty to give them a gift."

Raj (smiling): "I'll go to the market tomorrow and get something for Keshav. Bindhan likes books, so I got some computer and business-related books for her."

Rachna (confused): "Business books? But she's preparing for PR; how will these help her?"

Raj (putting the remaining clothes in the bag): "Knowledge is never waste. And she's talented."

    Rachna smiled.

So, what will happen next in this story? Will Karun come out of his illusion? And what will be the consequence of Raj's betrayal? Stay tuned to "Bandhan (Ek Maryada)".

    Delhi (Oberoi Mansion)

Rajvir's packing was complete. Ruchna Ji was standing there.

Ruchna Ji (thinking): "Raj, do one thing, tell Niya to pack as well. I want to introduce her to Sudhira as well. She will also meet the soon-to-be daughter-in-law, isn't she? Tell her that too."

Raj's back was turned towards Ruchna Ji. He couldn't see her face. But Ruchna Ji's words unknowingly pierced Raj's heart. His eyes filled with tears once again. But controlling himself, without turning back, he said to Ruchna Ji:

Raj (to Ruchna Ji): "Mother, Niya is busy right now, so we'll get her to meet Masi some other time. It's not like the wedding is happening right now. There's plenty of time, she'll meet her."

Ruchna Ji (nodding): "Yes, that's true. But if she's busy right now, then it's okay. But tell her that it's been a long time, and she should come and meet me once. Because at home, it's not just the husband, the mother-in-law will also be there."

She said this and walked away laughing. Raj's eyes welled up with tears once again.

Raj (to himself): "I not only saw a false dream myself, but I also showed it to my mother. Her expectations and attachment to her future daughter-in-law are increasing with time. But I'm moving backward in my life in terms of relationships. How can I tell her that Niya is a cheat?"

After this, he went and took a sleeping pill and slept. Because ever since he had learned about Niya's reality, he hadn't been able to sleep. But he didn't want anyone to know, so he took a sleeping pill to sleep so that he wouldn't fall ill and his pain would subside for a while.

    Thakur Villa

This was a very large villa. A sofa was placed in the middle of the hall. Ajnay was sitting there in casual clothes. Suddenly, a woman came in with a coffee mug in her hand. She offered the mug to Ajnay, but her attention was fixed on the main gate. Her gaze was only towards the gate.

Ajnay (looking at the woman): "Bhabi, is someone coming? Who are you waiting for?"

The woman (looking at Ajnay): "See, Bua Ji, your brother is absent on his birthday today. I'm not talking to him today."

Ajnay (laughing): "Oh! So you're waiting for Rianish brother. But that's his usual thing, he always celebrates his birthday outside. He often forgets about the people at home."

They were still talking when a voice came from the direction of the main gate: "Yes, brother, I'm provoking my own wife, but she's very understanding."

Yes, it was none other than Rianish. Rianish walked in and sat next to Ajnay on the sofa.

Ajnay (looking at Simran): "Hmm, will I not get coffee!"

Simran stormed into the kitchen, angry. Rianish smiled seeing her anger.

Ajnay (smiling): "Today, Bhabi is really angry. It will take a lot of effort to console her today."

Rianish (smiling): "No, she'll calm down in a while. Her anger doesn't last long. So don't take tension."

Ajnay (laughing): "That's your job, she's your wife. You know, who's my Bhabi, who's angry."

He said this and burst out laughing and got up and walked towards his room. As soon as he left, Rianish also got up and went to his room. First, he went to the washroom, took a bath, and came out. Simran came into the room with coffee. Rianish saw her and took out his clothes and gave them to her. Rianish dressed up and came and sat on the bed where Simran was sulking and using her phone. Rianish kept looking at Simran without saying anything.

Rianish (thinking to himself, looking at Simran): "Today, I cheated on you. I don't know how I couldn't control my anger. But I'm telling the truth; no one can ever come between you and me. I won't let anyone come. What happened today was just a mistake, and I won't lose you for a mistake. So, I won't let you know about this."

Rianish finished his coffee. As he placed the mug on the side table, he turned towards Simran.

Rianish (to Simran): "Simmi, how long will you stay angry? I've come now, forgive me. From now on, I won't celebrate any celebration without you, really, dear. Just forgive me now."

Simran (angrily): "This dialogue is very old. Please say something new. Because I've had enough of listening to these things, and so have my ears."

Rianish (lifting her and sitting her on his lap): "Forgive me now, dear. From next time, I really won't leave you alone in any celebration, happy?"

Simran (pouting): "No, one more thing. You should always take me with you wherever you go. And another thing, I'm joining the office from now on."

So, what will happen next in this story? How will Raj come out of this big deception? And will Rianish accept Simran's words? Stay tuned to find out, Bond (A Marryada).
