Just then, Apurva entered the room quietly. Ravi knew it was him by the sound of his footsteps. He was the only one who came to her room and talked to her.
Ravi wiped away her tears. Apurva approached her, took the photo from her hand, and placed it back on the table. "Stop getting lost in the past, Bhabi. How long will you keep crying like this?" He put a cake on the table.
Ravi looked at him with tear-filled eyes, as if to say that these tears had become her fate. But she didn't say anything and turned her gaze away.
Apurva sat beside her on his knees. "Come on, let's wipe away these tears and cut the cake! You don't even remember that it's your birthday today!" He put his hand on her hand.
Ravi used to be crazy about her birthday. She would start singing a month in advance, but now she didn't even remember it. She looked at Apurva and said, "Why do you do all this for me? Why do you get scolded by Maaji? You know I don't celebrate my birthday, but still, you...!" She trailed off.
There was silence for two minutes. Then she took a deep breath and said, "Take the cake away; I don't feel like having it!"
"Will your brother come back if you keep living like this, Bhabi?" Apurva asked firmly.
"Apurva...!" Ravi said angrily.
"Forgive me, Bhabi, but you're being unfair to yourself. What happened wasn't your fault, and you're still suffering. Suffering is also a crime; it gives the perpetrator more courage!"
"If your way of living could bring Piyush back, he would have come back by now. I agree it's painful, but two years have passed. Have some mercy on yourself. The world will have mercy on you later, but you need to have mercy on yourself first. If you don't, your life will become a burden, and it already has!"
Apurva's bitter and honest words struck Ravi's heart again. Her wounds reopened, and her eyes welled up with tears.
Seeing Ravi cry, Apurva broke down. He had come to make her celebrate her birthday, but he ended up scolding her. He composed himself and handed her a knife. "Bhabi, do I not matter to you?"
"If I were your brother, would you still deny him?"
Ravi realized that Apurva was the only one who cared for her in this house. She couldn't hurt his feelings. She smiled slightly and said, "You're not my brother; you're becoming my older brother, always scolding me!"
Apurva lightened the mood. "That's my Bhabi! Now, clean up your tears and let's cut the cake. My mouth is watering!"
Ravi didn't feel like doing any of this, but she couldn't deny Apurva. She started cutting the cake while Apurva sang the birthday song and clapped.
The door was open, and Apurva's mother, Bibi, was standing outside, watching them. She got angry seeing Ravi cut the cake but couldn't say anything to Apurva. She suppressed her anger and went to her room.
Apurva fed Ravi a piece of cake. A nurse entered the room. "Sorry, didi, I'm late."
Apurva scolded her. "You took a two-hour break, and now you're coming?"
Ravi intervened. "It's okay, Apurva."
The nurse apologized. "Sorry, sir."
Apurva told her, "Take care of Bhabi now!"
As he left, the nurse, Komal, breathed a sigh of relief. She went to Ravi and asked, "Should I bring you some food, didi?"
Ravi declined. "I'm not hungry; I want to sleep."
The nurse helped Ravi onto the bed and straightened her legs, putting a pillow under her feet.
Apurva had hired this nurse to take care of Ravi. Bibi had opposed it, but Apurva had insisted. He took care of Ravi but had limitations. He couldn't do everything, so hiring a nurse seemed like the best option.
As the night deepened, someone else was returning after years, not just for his family but also for Ravi. That someone was Yugveer. He was unaware of Ravi's current situation but still lived with his one-sided love for her. The obsession of Ravi's love had not yet left him.
It would all start again once Ravi's truth came before him.

Malini and Kanika proceed to the temple, with Malini commenting on Yug's constant preoccupation with work.
Meanwhile, Apurva helps Rawi out of their car and into her wheelchair. As Rawi becomes visible, Yug's heart rate quickens, and he senses a familiar presence.
He closes his eyes, savoring the feeling, and realizes that it feels like Rawi is nearby. He scans his surroundings but can't find her, not realizing that her dupatta is covering her face.
Apurva takes Rawi to a garden behind the temple to avoid the crowd. He sits on a bench and tries to comfort Rawi, who is visibly upset.
Kanika, on the other hand, meets her friend at the temple and then wanders off to the garden.
There, she encounters Rawi, who loses control of her wheelchair and falls into a hidden pit. Apurva rushes to her aid, scooping her up into his arms.
Kanika witnesses the scene and notices the concern etched on Apurva's face as he tends to Rawi.
Kanika feels a pang of jealousy and confusion.
Apurva decides to take Rawi to see a doctor, insisting on accompanying her despite her protests.
As they exit, Kanika watches them leave, still feeling perplexed and envious.

In the previous part, you read that Yug comes to know that Piyush is no longer in this world, and Babita starts scolding Ravi right in front of him!
"Karamjali saved herself but took my son away!! Why didn't she die in my Piyush's place..." Upon hearing her, Yug gets angry and says, "That's enough, Auntie!!" He tries to control his anger, as he's worried it might cause trouble for Ravi.
Babita, with tears in her eyes, says, "I've lost my son, and it's all because of this girl! No one can understand the pain I'm going through! Everyone just tells me to shut up..." Babita continues to cry and vent her emotions.
"By blaming Bhabhi like this, your brother won't come back, Mother! If you've lost your son, they've also lost their husband, are disabled, and have lost every relationship. You just need an excuse to belittle Bhabhi in front of everyone!" Apurv scolds his mother, and then heads towards Ravi.
Ravi, sitting inside, listens to Apurv's words. Someone else is also listening - Kanika, who's regained consciousness and is quietly listening to Apurv's conversation. She's understood that Apurv takes great care of his Bhabhi and won't tolerate any disrespect towards her. Although she knows about Apurv and Ravi's relationship, she dislikes Apurv's care for Ravi and feels a burning jealousy inside. However, she can't do anything about it right now.
Yug is also furious with Babita, but he's forced to restrain himself. He pretends to check on Kanika, saying, "I'll see if Kanika has regained consciousness or not." He then heads towards Kanika.
Apurv approaches Ravi and says, "Why did you come in here, Bhabhi? Let's go outside." He starts to wheel her out.
Ravi suddenly says, "No, I don't want to go. Please let me be alone for a while."
Apurv, already heated up, says, "Yes, that's all you do - stay locked in this room, don't meet anyone, don't talk to anyone! Just stay alone like this." He storms out of the room, leaving Ravi in tears.
Meanwhile, Yug reaches Kanika's side. By then, Kanika has sat up. Yug approaches her, gently stroking her hair, and says, "Crazy one... you did all this for such a small thing! I promise you, Apurv will be yours!!" Hearing this, Kanika immediately hugs him tightly.
Yug also hugs her back and thinks to himself, "Today, you could have asked me for anything, and I would have given it to you. You're so lucky for me! When you came into my life, my mother came back to me, and today, you've given me my love and life back. I'll never leave Ravi alone again." Yug thinks to himself, understanding what he needs to do now.
Although Yug has promised Kanika that Apurv will be hers, Kanika isn't convinced. Her mind still lingers on Ravi and Apurv's closeness. For the first time, she can't trust her brother's words. Her heart and mind refuse to accept it, and her thoughts are consumed by Ravi and Yug's growing closeness, which is diminishing her ability to think and understand.
Her love has taken over her, and she's willing to do anything to get Apurv. There's a significant difference between the two siblings - while Yug loved Ravi, he didn't let his love become a weakness and never demanded or insisted on having her. However, Kanika's love is accompanied by stubbornness and obsession - she's determined to get Apurv and make him hers. The question is, how far will she go to fulfill her obsession?
After some time, Yug decides to take Kanika away. Although he wants to glance at Ravi one last time, Ravi hasn't come out of her room. Yug's heart wishes to take Ravi with him, but he's forced to leave without her.
As he sits in his car, he thinks to himself, "I'm leaving now, but soon I'll make you mine and take you away from here..."
