Arohi sat at the dining table with Ridhansh. The previous night, she had tried to contact someone from Ridhansh's mobile, a number she believed to be her father's, but in reality, it was a trap set by Ridhansh that she had fallen into.
Ridhansh had punished Arohi for her actions, but he did not want to take any further risks. When he mentioned a surprise for Arohi at the breakfast table the next morning, she was taken aback. She knew that Ridhansh's surprises could be a significant shock for her.
Arohi's face changed color at Ridhansh's words. Observing her changed expression, Ridhansh spoke with a wicked smile, "You got scared so quickly; I haven't even told you the whole truth yet. Why don't I show you everything right in front of you?"
As he spoke, Ridhansh lifted Arohi from his lap, stood up, and turned on the TV screen. The news on TV made Arohi's eyes well up with tears. The news anchor was reading the news, and beside him, her small photo appeared.
"This is 22-year-old Arohi Shrivastava, whose dead body was found on the banks of the Ganges River in Kolkata yesterday. It appears that she had been dead for about a week. Her face is completely disfigured, but her identity was confirmed from her belongings and some items found near her, and the police are currently gathering more information."
Arohi watched as the news anchor stood outside the police station, where her parents and Kajal were crying with the police.
Ridhansh turned off the TV and said, "I think you've seen enough. You're dead to the world, Arohi Shrivastava. So, don't try to contact anyone anymore; otherwise, people will misunderstand you. They might even think you're a ghost."
It was clear from Ridhansh's words that Arohi's tears had no effect on him.
Ridhansh had essentially killed Arohi while she was still alive. In the eyes of the world, she was now dead. Arohi cried silently, and Ridhansh, teasing her, took her tears on his fingers and said, "Why are you crying? You wrote all this, Miss Writer. You should have known what would happen to you. You must admit, you wrote a fantastic book."
Ridhansh started laughing, mocking Arohi.
Arohi screamed in anger, "Ridhansh Thakur, you will have to account for every tear I've shed. You will cry much more than I have today. You will also be kidnapped and held captive, just like me."
Ridhansh's expression turned stern at Arohi's words. He looked into her eyes and said in a cold voice, "This means you admit that you were sent by one of my enemies, and I kept you here to prevent them from causing me harm through you."
Ridhansh was very close to Arohi, with her hair clutched tightly in his fist.
Arohi cried out in pain, "I didn't say that; don't interpret my words differently, Ridhansh Thakur."
"I'm not interested in your words or anything else right now. Finish the task you're here for as soon as possible. I have no interest in keeping you alive unnecessarily."
Ridhansh dragged Arohi back to the room.
The way Ridhansh was pulling Arohi into the room made her understand what he was going to do. Arohi screamed, "No, please don't do it so soon... I'm not ready. I won't be able to."
"It’s your problem if you're not ready; it's not mine."
Ridhansh pushed Arohi onto the bed and was on top of her the next moment.
This time, Ridhansh did not behave affectionately; instead, he started without showing any leniency. Arohi's screams echoed through the room once again, clearly audible to the house help working outside.
One of the house helpers mentioned to another, "I'm so sorry for that poor girl. She doesn't look much older. The government should not have done this to her. If anything happens to her..."
The other replied, "It won't make a difference to him. Didn't you see today's news? That girl's death was reported. Ridhansh Thakur is always prepared for everything."
Meanwhile, Ridhansh was entirely focused on acquiring his property. On the other hand, those to whom he had sent Arohi's photo were shocked to see her. Especially his biggest enemy, Nicholas Jones.
Nicholas Jones was around Ridhansh's age, with a fair complexion, tall height, dark blue eyes, and a sharp jawline. He looked like a model.
Currently, Nicholas was in his villa in London, getting a massage from a girl.
Arohi's photo also reached him. After seeing the photo, Nicholas shook his head and said, "I don't have that much free time to waste on him; he's going to be robbed soon. His brother, Vijay Thakur, is willing to sell his property to me, so I don't need to send a girl or an agent to him."
Nicholas's gaze then settled on Arohi, who looked very beautiful. He took a deep breath and said with a wicked smile, "If you think about it, she's very beautiful. Ridhansh Thakur must have hit the jackpot, or maybe he's just torturing her."
Nicholas immediately called his manager and told her, "Jenelia, convey to Ridhansh Thakur that I sent that girl. I want her with me within the next 24 hours."
Due to his desire to obtain Arohi, Nicholas sent this message to Ridhansh, even though it was entirely untrue. Yet, he wanted Arohi by his side now.
