Lucknow was the foremost city in etiquette and manners. Whether young or old, belonging to any community or religion, courteous behavior was the norm there; and it was for this etiquette and sweet speech that Lucknow was always counted among cities of high culture. Lucknowi Chikankari suits were very famous here. Although there were many things that were discussed here; but one very famous thing about Lucknow was its grand and small Imambaras, where a part of the shooting for the film "Gadar" was also done. Anyway, if we delve into all these things, we will get lost in them. After all this, talking about the people there, their politeness was reflected in their dialect and way of life!

Like everything else famous in Lucknow, something else was also very famous here, and that was Jannat Ahmed Rajput, whom hardly anyone didn't know; and the reason for knowing her was Jannat's cheerful and loving nature. Children and elders around doted on Jannat; and Jannat was also very happy. There was no shortage in her life, except for her love, for whom she was counting her moments; of whom, at that time, she had no knowledge or clue; and she didn't even know if her love would ever return. But still, she had faith in her love's promise, who had promised her that he would definitely return one day and take her with him forever as his bride. She was living every day waiting for this promise, hoping that perhaps her love would come to take her today.

    (Lucknow, Jannat's House:)

Mrs. Ahmed: Jannat, where are you? Sahar has also been waiting for you here for a long time.

Jannat (descending the stairs): Oh God! I'm coming, Ammi Jaan. We are already worried, and on top of that, you keep scaring us.

Mrs. Ahmed: Your results are coming out today, and you've woken up so late even on this day.

Jannat: Ammi Jaan, that's why I was talking personally to Allah Pak today, asking Him to pass us with good marks and fulfill our dream.

Aman: So, Didi, you always say you have a direct connection with Allah and you're never afraid, so why are you worried today?

Jannat: Who told you we're worried about the results? We were just thinking that our results are coming out today, and we haven't even gone shopping for Dehradun yet.

Mrs. Ahmed: You will go to Dehradun only when you pass with good marks.

Jannat: Ammi Jaan, please don't say anything more, because we can't hear these doubtful words from your mouth anymore. Do you doubt your daughter's capabilities? Oh! God! This is the only day I had to see in my life.

Mrs. Ahmed: Stop it, Drama Queen, with your drama.

Jannat: You just leave it, Ammi Jaan. You don't value us. Only Ahmed Sahib (Jannat's father) values us.

Sahar: Drama Queen, stop the drama. And all this that you're thinking, it won't be possible until you, Jannat Ji, go to collect your results. And you're already very late, so let's go quickly.

Jannat: Oh God! Yes, yes, sorry sorry Ammi Jaan. You always get us talking and make us late. Let's go quickly. And Ammi Jaan, keep the sweets ready for our results.

Saying this, Jannat picked up her bag and left for college with Sahar.

Mrs. Ahmed (shaking her head): She's grown so big, but her childishness hasn't gone yet.

Jannat lived in a joint family, which included Jannat's mother (Rubina), father (Ahmed), a brother (Aman), uncle (Asad) and aunt (Iqra), Sahar and Ilma, her two cousins, and grandparents. Everyone was very good and cheerful; and Jannat, though, was everyone's favorite and got along very well with everyone. However, she was closest to her father, Ahmed Ji, in the house; and they had a relationship like two good friends; and they shared everything with each other; and since childhood, Jannat had never called her father Papa or Daddy, but always addressed him as Ahmed Sahib; and whenever Mrs. Ahmed tried to stop her by saying it was wrong, Ahmed Sahib himself stopped her from doing so; and said that Jannat calling him that gave a different sense of belonging; and now everyone was accustomed to this; and being the eldest in the house, Jannat was everyone's darling. Although there was only a difference of one month between Sahar and Jannat's ages. Jannat and Sahar's graduation results were due today. Jannat had always been very fond of fashion designing; but usually, the fees for this course were very high; and Jannat belonged to a middle-class family; but this time, it was her luck or God's grace that the college where she studied only offered graduation in different streams; and therefore, the college authorities had decided that from this year onwards, any student who came first would be given admission to the larger branch of this college in Dehradun for their further studies on a scholarship, along with a course of their choice. And she would be given a full year's scholarship. That's why she wanted to go to Dehradun, where she wanted to fulfill her dream along with her further studies, and that too on her own terms. After a while, Sahar and Jannat reach the college and start heading towards the notice board.

Sahar: Jannat, we are very scared. If we don't pass, Ammi Jaan will kill us.

Jannat: Just relax, and don't think so much.

Sahar: How do you always stay so relaxed, and how do you remain so positive in every situation?

Jannat (putting her arm around Sahar's neck): Because we know very well that our Lord thinks better for us than we do; and whatever is written in your destiny, you will get it by any means, in any circumstance; and if that thing is not in your destiny, then you won't get it. But God has also said, "Work hard, servant, I will give you the fruits"; and even what is not written in our destiny by God can be obtained through our hard work and prayers. As they say, prayers made with a true heart can change even what is written in fate; so we always have faith in our heartfelt prayers and hard work; and where there is faith, there is no fear!!

Sahar: You are really different. No one can understand you.

    Jannat: Except for two people...

Sahar: One is your father, meaning our uncle, and the other is your husband... right?

Jannat (smiling): 100% correct. Come on, the notice board is here too. Now let's go see the results, or you can talk all this here.

    Sahar: Yes, let's go.

Sahar and Jannat move forward to see the results. First, they both see Sahar's result, who had passed with good marks; and now Sahar moves forward to see Jannat's result; and as soon as Sahar's eyes fall on Jannat's result, she comes to Jannat with a sad face, who was standing a little distance away.

Jannat: What happened? We came first in the whole class, didn't we?

Sahar (shaking her head): No, Jannat.

Jannat: Look Sahar, don't joke. Tell me the truth?

Sahar: I swear, we are not lying.

Just then, Nisha, their common friend, arrives.

Jannat: Nisha, have you seen our result?

Nisha: Yes Jannat, you have passed in other subjects, but you have failed in History.

Jannat: That can't be! I can never fail in History. That's my best subject. And you all stay here, I'll go see it myself right now.

After this, Jannat goes to see her result with her fingers crossed, and seeing her result on the notice board, she can't believe it.

Jannat (shouting): Oh God!! How did this happen?

When Jannat saw her result, she couldn't believe it. She hadn't just come first in her class, but first in the entire college, having topped it.

Jannat (looking up at the sky with joy): "Thank you, thank you, thank you so much! If it weren't for you and your support, we wouldn't have reached this point."

Sahar (calling from behind): "What happened? Haven't you seen the result yet?"

Nisha (jokingly): "Or are you in shock from failing?"

Jannat: "Sahar and Nisha, wait a moment, you two. We'll tell you, you both lied to us."

Saying this, Jannat ran towards Nisha and Sahar. Seeing Jannat running towards them, the two of them ran in the opposite direction, trying to escape Jannat. Just then, while running, Jannat bumped into someone. It was Arman, the son of a good friend of Jannat's father; whom both Jannat and Sahar disliked due to his behavior; but Arman liked Jannat and wanted to marry her.

Jannat (regaining her balance): "Oh my God! Can't you watch where you're going?"

Arman: "Hey, hey, take it easy. If you get hurt, we'll suffer unnecessarily."

Jannat (folding her arms): "And how will you suffer from this, Mr. Arman? Will you tell us?"

Arman: "Oh, you are our future life partner (wife), so obviously, if you suffer any discomfort, we will suffer."

Jannat (laughing loudly): "Wow! You don't have many qualities, but the only thing I like about you is that you make jokes at a very high level. By God!"

Arman (smiling): "Hi! Just seeing your smile makes my life hang by a thread."

    Jannat: "Really?"

    Arman: "Of course."

Jannat: "Then if that's the case and your life can be lost by our smile, then by God, we won't stop laughing from today. At least by our laughter, an impure soul will leave this earth, and people will shower us with prayers."

Jannat thought for a moment. "But I'm thinking of changing my mind."

    Arman: "And why this kindness?"

Jannat: "That's because for the sake of some people, the lives of some people... no... sorry... why spoil their death."

    Arman: "Meaning?"

Jannat: "Meaning that this is a living, breathing world. They can come and go anywhere to escape your torture; but the poor souls who have already gone have no options. So why should I ruin their happy, playful afterlife? That's just because we don't want a sinner like you to suffer them right away. At least let them live peacefully in death for a few years."

Hearing Jannat's words, Sahar and Nisha, as well as Arman's friends standing with him, started laughing; and when Arman looked at everyone with angry eyes, they all quickly lowered their heads and became silent.

Arman (angrily): "Your jokes, Jannat, are now crossing the limits of rudeness."

Jannat (folding her arms): "Firstly, these are not jokes; we insult you directly; even then, you come every day to get insulted... Oh my God! Meaning you have absolutely no shame."

Arman: "If it were someone else in your place, after talking to Arman Siddiqui in this tone, their corpse would be lying at our feet."

Jannat (looking with sharp eyes): "We are neither someone else, nor anyone insignificant whom you can make bow at your feet. We are Jannat Ahmed Rajput, and Rajputs never fear anyone, and never even think of scaring us."

Arman (with a devilish smile): "It's just this attitude of yours that makes us adore you. And don't worry, once our marriage happens, we will properly respond to your every rudeness and misbehavior."

Jannat: "Mr. Arman Siddiqui, dreams seen with open eyes never come true; and as for our marriage, we have already accepted someone else as our life partner from our heart; now only the three words of marriage remain for formality, which will also be completed very soon."

Arman: "Do you really still think that joke is true? And so many years have passed, and in today's time, you have no contact with Zameen; and let's assume, even if he comes back, will Uncle Ahmed agree to this relationship?"

Jannat (smiling): "We have complete faith in our love and God, so we have no worries; and you leave our worries, worry about yourself."

Arman: "We are worrying about ourselves. And don't worry, very soon we will come with our mother and father to take you with us; and don't worry, we will definitely take you to meet Mr. Zameen, and we will go looking for him too; but only after our marriage to you."

Jannat (coming near Arman): "You know what? Go to hell! Anyway, you must have heard the saying that a dog's tail can never be straightened; so exactly that is the case with you; so we don't want to waste our energy on you, because we have other work to do; so goodbye, Allah Hafiz."

Saying this, Jannat, along with Nisha and Sahar, proceeded to leave the college.

Raj (Arman's friend): "Tell me one thing, Arman, Jannat has never spoken to you directly in the last three years; and she insults you so much, yet you want to marry her; even though you lack nothing in terms of money, status, personality; and any good girl would easily agree to marry you."

Arman: "Yes, but I am helpless in the hands of my heart; and it's my childhood habit that if my heart desires something once, then I either achieve it at all costs, or I leave it unattainable for anyone else."

Raj: "But she loves someone else, doesn't she?"

Arman (clenching his fist): "We are not worried about that; and once we marry Jannat, then we will show them who Arman Siddiqui really is."

Meanwhile, Jannat and Sahar bid farewell to Nisha and headed home.

    Sahar (on the way): "Jannat?"

    Jannat: "Yes?"

    Sahar: "What Arman was saying..."

Jannat: "Sahar, do you think there's any need to take people like Arman seriously?"

Sahar: "You're right; but if Zameen bhai also returns, then with whatever happened in the past, will Uncle Taya accept this relationship after that?"

Jannat (after thinking for a moment): "I don't know what's written in my destiny; but I do know that Zameen is my future; and no one can change this reality."

Sahar (smiling): "I hope it happens."

Jannat (smiling): "Definitely, God willing, it will happen."

After this, Jannat and Sahar reached home and told everyone about their results, and everyone was very happy.

Grandmother (kissing Jannat's forehead): "We are proud of both our granddaughters; but Jannat, you always hold your head and name high with pride."

Ikra (hugging Jannat): "Yes, our child is so intelligent and dear."

    Jannat (smiling): "Thank you, Aunt."

Aman: "Api Jaan, you've topped the entire college, so will there be a party today, and that too outside?"

Sahar: "Yes, there definitely will be."

Jannat: "That's all fine; and, Grandfather, Uncle-Aunt, Mother, Aman, Sahar, we are all here; but where are Grandpa Jaan and Ahmed Sahib?"

Just then, Ahmed Sahib arrived at the door.

Ahmed Sahib: "We are here, my child."

Jannat's face lit up upon seeing Ahmed Sahib, and she quickly went to him. Ahmed Sahib had many shopping bags in his hand.

Jannat: "Oh my God! Ahmed Sahib, why have you gone shopping so much? And where were you since morning?"

Ahmed Sahib: "We went shopping just for you."

    Jannat: "For us?"

Ahmed Sahib: "Yes, why? Have you changed your mind? And aren't you going to Dehradun?"

Jannat: "But how did you know that we would top?"

Ahmed Sahib: "Oh brother, what is there to know about this? And anyway, you are our daughter Jannat Ahmed Rajput; there's no question of backing down, right? And that's why we left for shopping for you since morning."

Jannat (hugging Ahmed Sahib happily): "Oh my God! Ahmed Sahib, you are so good that I can't even tell you... I love you very much..."

Ahmed Sahib: "I love you too, my daughter."

Jannat (happily): "Now we will get ready for our trip to Dehradun."

Just then, Jannat's grandfather entered through the door.

Grandfather: "You are not going anywhere, Jannat."

Ahmed Sahib: "Abbu Jaan, but why? It was decided that if Jannat's result was good, she would go to Dehradun, so then?"

Grandfather: "We've said it, so we've said it, Jannat is not going anywhere."

Everyone was a little surprised to hear this. Why had Grandpa suddenly refused? And Mr. Ahmed looked a little sad as he looked towards Jannat.

Grandma: "But you said Jannat could go to Dehradun. What happened suddenly? And why are you refusing now?"

Grandpa (in a slightly sad voice): "Because if our Jannat goes away, our house will become completely empty. And Jannat is also our partner in Ludo and Carrom, isn't she? If she goes, we will be very bored without her."

Jannat (hugging Grandpa): "Daadu Jaan, but when are we going forever? It's just for a while, then we'll come back to you."

Grandpa: "Yes, that's true; but one year, that means twelve months, is not a small amount of time."

Jannat: "Okay. If you don't like us going, then we won't go anywhere, leaving you."

Grandpa: "But what about your dream?"

Jannat: "Our dream is important to us, but not more important than our Daadu Jaan."

Grandpa: "Whenever we hear your sweet talk, we feel like fulfilling your every wish. And you don't need to sacrifice your dreams for us or anyone else. That's why you will definitely go."

Jannat: "No, we don't want to go like this."

    Grandpa: "Meaning?"

Jannat (pulling Grandpa's cheeks): "It means that until we see a lovely smile on our handsome Daadu Jaan's face, we won't go anywhere."

    Grandpa (smiling): "Is this better?"

Jannat: "No, not like this. Smile in your Daadu Jaan style, with all your teeth."

Grandpa laughed, showing his remaining teeth at Jannat's request. And whenever he laughed like that, he truly looked like a very cute, little child. Seeing him and Jannat, everyone else also smiled. In the evening, everyone went out for dinner. Jannat was supposed to leave for Dehradun two days later. These two days passed in packing and finishing other tasks. And today, finally, Jannat was leaving for Dehradun with her father. Everyone was a little sad and emotional seeing Jannat go.

Mrs. Ahmed (sadly): "Take care of yourself. And if there's anything at all, call us immediately."

Jannat (hugging Mrs. Ahmed): "Yes, Ammi Jaan. And why are you so sad? We'll be back soon. And we're not going to an unknown place, rather we're going to stay at Phupho Jaan's (aunt's) house."

Dadi Jaan: "Yes, and we've already spoken to Seema that you and Ahmed are arriving there today."

Jannat (hugging Dadi): "Okay, Dadi Jaan."

Iqra (hugging Jannat): "Just take care of yourself, Jannat."

Jannat: "Yes, Chachi Jaan, and you too."

Sahar: "We will miss you a lot, Jannat."

Jannat (hugging Sahar): "We will miss you a lot too."

Aman (hugging Jannat): "Aapi, come back soon. We don't feel good without you."

Jannat (pulling Aman's cheeks): "Yes, we'll be back soon. And until we are there, we'll video call you daily."

Mr. Ahmed: "Jannat, let's go now. Otherwise, we'll miss the train."

    Jannat: "Yes, let's go."

Grandpa: "We will miss you very, very, very much, our child."

Jannat (hugging Grandpa): "We will miss you too, Daadu Jaan. And most of all, we will miss your morning kisses on our forehead."

Grandpa (kissing her forehead): "Just study diligently and return only after fulfilling your dream and making it your future. And besides, you are a Rajput, so there's no question of being afraid of anything."

    Jannat (smiling): "Yes, Daadu Jaan."

After this, Jannat left for Dehradun with her father. Darkness was deepening, and Mr. Ahmed had also fallen asleep; but sleep was miles away from Jannat's eyes. She was lost in the intoxication of her love, gazing at the moon in the night sky from outside the window. And as the gusts of wind came through the window, strands of Jannat's hair caressed her face; making her look even more beautiful in the moonlit night.

Jannat (to herself): "You know, since you left, not a moment, not an instant has passed when our heart and mind haven't been reminded of you... We are happy and always try to stay happy; but we and our hearts always feel your absence... The moon, the sun, and the stars are all witnesses to how lonely we are without you... Stop it now, don't test us any further, and come back, Zameen, and fulfill your promise and our incomplete love..."

Jannat takes out a box from her bag, which contained some old memories of Jannat and Zameen. And Jannat was living solely on these memories after Zameen's departure. This box contained some gifts, which were ordinary, but most precious to Jannat, because her love had given them to her; and she had cherished them more than her life until now. Just then, Jannat takes out a letter from the box and as she opens and reads it, she gets lost in the memories of the past.....

    (Flashback.....)

Jannat had always loved poetry and songs that were filled with the feeling of true love and gave peace to the heart upon hearing them. Jannat was sitting in her room, organizing her closet, when she heard Zameen calling her from downstairs.

Zameen: "Jannat... Jannat, where are you???"

Jannat (calling back): "We are here, Zameen, in the room upstairs."

Zameen (coming upstairs): "Oh! We searched the whole house for you, and you are sitting here."

Jannat (while working): "What happened? Why were you looking for us?"

Zameen: "Why was I looking for you? Does it mean that if we have some work, only then will we look for you?"

Jannat (tidying her closet): "Oh my God!!... That's not what we meant."

Zameen (taking clothes from Jannat's hand): "But that's what it seemed like. And secondly, when you talk to us, pay your full attention to us. Because we absolutely dislike you giving more importance to anything else than us in front of us."

Jannat (raising her eyebrows): "Oh my God!! So, we shouldn't even do our work."

Zameen (annoyed): "Okay, then you do your work leisurely. We are leaving from here."

Jannat (blocking his way): "Oh, we were just joking. Why did you get so serious? Okay, I'm sorry."

Zameen (turning his face away): "We don't want to talk to you."

Jannat: "Look Zameen, don't trouble us any further... You know we can never be angry with you."

Zameen: "And you also know that we can never be angry with you. After all, you are our only best friend."

Jannat (smiling): "Okay, now tell us why you were looking for us?"

Zameen (taking a letter out of his pocket): "Look at this."

Jannat (looking at the letter): "What is this?"

Zameen: "You like poetry and love songs a lot, so we've prepared something for you."

Jannat (happily): "For us... then sing it?"

    Zameen: "But..."

    Jannat: "But what?"

Zameen: "But it's only a few lines right now and is not complete. This is all we understood while sitting in class; but I promise, we will definitely finish it and sing it, just for you."

Jannat: "It's okay; but for now, just sing this much to us, because we are getting very impatient and eager to hear it."

Zameen: "Okay, dear Miss, as you command..."

    After this, Zameen starts singing.

Even if life is gained by sacrificing life,

Even if one happiness is gained by sacrificing every happiness,

Even if life is gained by sacrificing life,

Even if happiness is gained by sacrificing every happiness,

I would ask for it for you, for you,

    For you.....

Jannat was lost in the words of this song, and when Zameen snaps his fingers in front of Jannat's face, she comes out of her thoughts.

Zameen: "What happened? Didn't you like it?"

Jannat (happily): "We liked it very, very much; but when will you sing it completely?"

Zameen: "Yes, we will definitely sing it completely for you one day."

Jannat (smiling): "And we will wait for that day."

    (Flashback End......)

Jannat (to herself): "So much time has passed. Come back now. Your Jannat has been waiting for you for so long, Zameen."

After this, Jannat gets lost in the embrace of sleep without even realizing it, as she gathers her past memories, and her eyes open in the morning to Mr. Ahmed's voice.

Mr. Ahmed: "We are almost there, daughter. Get up and freshen up."

    Jannat: "Yes."

After a while, Jannat reaches Dehradun with Mr. Ahmed and steps off the station, where a handsome young man was already waiting to pick them up......!!

Shortly after, Jannat reached Dehradun with Ahmed Sahib and got off at the station, where a charming young man was already waiting to pick them up.

    Ayan: Assalamualaikum, Mama Jaan.

Ahmed Sahib: Walaikum assalam, beta Ayan. How are you?

Ayan: I am fine, Mama Jaan. How are you?

Ahmed Sahib: I am also perfectly fine.

Ayan: Where is our Jannat Saheba?

Jannat (coming from behind): I am here, Ayan Bhai Jaan.

Ayan (hugging Jannat): How are you?

Jannat: Alhamdulillah, I am great. How are you?

    Ayan: Absolutely fit and fine.

Jannat: And how is everyone else at home, Bhai Jaan?

Ayan: Alhamdulillah, everyone is fine. ... How is everyone in Lucknow?

Jannat: Oh dear! Are you going to investigate everything here at the station? Leave something for home.

Ayan (laughing): As you say, Madam. Let's go.

Jannat (smiling): Okay, Ahmed Sahib, shall we go?

    Ahmed Sahib: Yes, let's go.

Ayan was the son of Ahmed Sahib's younger sister, Seema. Seema lived in Dehradun with her family. Her family included Seema, her husband Amir, Amir's father, and Amir's mother – who had passed away a few years ago – Ayan (the eldest son), then Azan, and then Sara. Ayan was calm by nature, whereas Azan, in contrast, was always playful; and Sara was everyone's darling and very lovely. Azan, Sara, and Jannat were roughly the same age. Jannat had a good bonding with everyone, and everyone liked her, except Azan... It wasn't that Azan and Jannat disliked each other completely; rather, these two had been bickering since childhood, and they never missed an opportunity to trouble each other. After a short while, Jannat and Ahmed Sahib reached Ayan's house with him and met everyone one by one. Everyone was very happy. After talking for a while, Jannat went to her room with Sara to freshen up. Although there were many empty rooms in the house; but Sara and Jannat wanted to stay together; so both of them were going to stay in Sara's room. Azan's room was right in front of Sara's room; and next to Azan's room was another room; and Ayan and the rest of the family's rooms were downstairs.

Jannat (pointing towards Azan's room): This is Azan's room, isn't it?

    Sara: Yes.

Jannat: Where is this gentleman? Haven't seen him around today?

Sara: He spends most of his time with his new girlfriend these days. And they have gone on some tour; they will be back tomorrow.

Jannat: New girlfriend... Who is she? And when did this happen?

Sara: You have come today, you will understand everything slowly.

Jannat: But tell us too, who are you talking about?

Sara: You know that room next to Azan Bhai's room? Azan Bhai's girlfriend lives there.

Jannat (with surprise): What? And Fufi Jaan allowed them to do this?

Sara: Actually, what happened is that we....

Just then, Sara heard a voice from downstairs, and after telling Jannat she was going to freshen up, she went down. After a little while, Jannat also came down. How the time passed until night, chatting, they didn't even realize; and the next day Ahmed Sahib had to leave for Lucknow. After dinner, after talking late into the night, everyone went to rest. The next morning, Ayan got ready to drop Ahmed Sahib at the station. Everyone wanted Ahmed Sahib to stay for a few more days; but due to work, he had to return immediately.

Ahmed Sahib: Okay Seema, I'm leaving. And this time, you all come to Lucknow with everyone.

Seema: Yes, Bhai Jaan, we will definitely come.

Amir: It would have been nice, Bhai Jaan, if you had stayed with us for some more time. We don't feel good about this at all.

Sara: Yes, Mama Jaan, please stay here too?

Ahmed Sahib: I would have stayed, if it wasn't for work. And why are you all getting upset unnecessarily? We'll come again, what's the big deal?

Amir: Yes, absolutely, we will all wait for you. In fact, you should come to Dehradun with everyone this time. And anyway, the light of your house (Jannat) has come here, so that house must have become empty.

Ahmed Sahib (looking at Jannat): Yes, that's absolutely true.

Amir (placing his hand on Jannat's head): Yes, but the radiance of our house has definitely increased.

    Seema (smiling): Yes, absolutely.

Dada Ji (Amir's father): Ahmed beta, come soon.

    Ahmed Sahib: Yes, definitely.

Ayan (coming from outside): Come on, Mama Jaan, I have put your luggage in the car outside.

Ahmed Sahib (nodding his head in affirmation)... To Jannat: Take care of yourself, and if there's anything, just give us a call.

Jannat: I am fine. And Fufi Jaan and everyone else are here for me. You just take care of yourself and everyone else.

    Ahmed Sahib: Yes.

Jannat (raising her eyebrows): Ahmed Sahib, if I find out that you have been negligent in taking your medicine or eating even a little bit, then you know Jannat Rajput well.

Ahmed Sahib (hugging Jannat with a smile): No, we won't do that at all. Because we don't want to be scolded by you.

Jannat (smiling): That's like a good boy.

Ahmed Sahib (kissing Jannat's forehead): Allah Hafiz, take care of yourself.

Jannat (nodding her head): Allah Hafiz.

After this, Ahmed Sahib departed for Lucknow. The next morning, Jannat had to go to college to complete some admission procedures, so she started preparing for it. Ahmed Sahib reached Lucknow late at night and informed Jannat and everyone by phone. Coincidentally, Sara had also recently taken admission for her Master's degree in the same college where Jannat was going to be admitted. The next day, after offering the Fajr prayer (the prayer recited by Muslims before sunrise or the first prayer of the day), Jannat and Sara left for college early in the morning and by noon, Jannat had completed her admission procedures.

    Sara: Is your work done?

Jannat: Yes, it's done. Shall we go home?

Sara: Yes, let's go. Ayan Bhai must be arriving soon. Until then, I have to meet a friend for notes, so I'll be back in a little while.

Jannat: Okay, you go. I will meet you in that park over there.

    Sara: Okay.

After this, Sara left from there, and Jannat sat on the bench, waiting for Sara. Just then, Sahar called Jannat, and she started talking to Sahar while walking in the college park. As Jannat turned back while talking, she suddenly bumped into someone. The phone slipped from Jannat's hand and fell on the ground, and some cold drink spilled from the person's hand onto Jannat's white suit. Jannat looked angrily at the person, who was only slightly older than Jannat. He had big brown eyes, a perfect figure and muscular body, fair complexion and a tall, broad build, and a personality that made everyone look at him twice after seeing him once. He had headphones in both ears and a bottle of cold drink in one hand.

Jannat (angrily): Oh God! Can't you see?

Person (removing his headphones): And what if we ask you the same question?

Jannat: Couldn't you walk while looking?

Person: If we weren't walking while looking, then your eyes, Madam, were probably closed too!!!

Jannat (angrily): You made a mistake, and instead of apologizing, you are blaming us?

Person (moving to leave): So why should we accept that it was our mistake?

Jannat (blocking the way): Look, don't increase our anger without reason and apologize to us right now without any argument.

Person (raising his eyebrows, crossing his arms): Oh, really? And why is it necessary to apologize to you?

Jannat: Because mistakes are apologized for.

Person: Oh, right... mistakes are apologized for; and we think we should definitely apologize to you; but only after we make a mistake.

Before Jannat could understand or say anything, the boy threw the rest of the cold drink on Jannat's white clothes, and Jannat couldn't comprehend this sudden turn of events.

Person (with a victorious smile): Now I'm sorry, Madam... Now you are happy???

Jannat turned red with anger looking at the person and her clothes...!!

Jannat looked at her dress angrily.

Jannat: "How dare you do this to us? We will..."

Just then, Sara called Jannat from behind, and she turned around.

Sara: "What happened, Jannat? (looking at Jannat's dress) And what happened to this?"

Jannat (turning back angrily): "It's all because of them..."

Jannat turned back, but by then the person had already left.

Sara (coming in front of Jannat): "How did this happen, Jannat?"

Jannat (in a bad mood): "We should go home now, Ayan Bhai Jaan must be waiting for us."

    Sara: "Yes, let's go."

Jannat and Sara went out of the college, where Ayan was already waiting for them.

Ayan: "Jannat, what happened to your dress?"

Jannat (angrily): "Bhai Jaan, a mad, stupid, and ill-mannered person did this to us."

    Ayan: "Who?"

Jannat: "We don't know. If they ever come in front of us again, we will kill them."

Ayan: "Hey, calm down, so much anger! And that too for someone you don't even know."

    Sara: "But what actually happened?"

Jannat told Ayan and Sara the whole story, and then the three of them left for home. After some time, they all reached home. In the living area, Jannat found Azan.

Azan (to Jannat): "Toofan Mail... How are you?"

Jannat: "We are fine, what about you?"

Azan (to Ayan): "Brother, is this really Jannat? Because this is not the first time, actually, for the first time in my life, Jannat Ji has given me a direct answer."

Jannat: "Look, Azan, our mood is already bad. Don't spoil it further."

Azan: "But why is your mood bad?"

Sara told Azan the whole incident at college.

Azan: "Oh! Tell us, who is it? And where did you meet them?"

Ayan: "Hey Azan, leave it. Some people are like that, let it go."

Azan: "No, Bhai Jaan, whoever that person was, they finally gave us a tough fight, so we should meet them."

    Sara: "You?"

Azan: "Yes, because in this whole world, only our Toofan Mail was known to handle challenges and give a tough fight; but today, some brave person has proved that there are more fearless people in this world."

Jannat: "Hahaha... Very funny... That was a really bad joke."

    Azan (laughing): "Indeed."

    Jannat: "Be quiet."

    Ayan: "Azan??"

Azan (stopping his laughter): "Okay, not again, Bhai..."

Ayan: "Okay, where is everyone else in the house?"

Azan: "Ammi Jaan and Dadu Ji have gone to the market nearby. They will be back soon. And Papa Ji hasn't come back from the office yet."

Sara: "And where is Bhabi, Azan Bhai?"

    Ayan: "Sara, you've started again?"

    Sara: "Okay, okay... Sorry, Bhai."

Azan (teasingly): "By the way, this colorful suit looks very good on you."

    Jannat: "Azan, you..."

Sara (interrupting): "Jannat, ignore Bhai's talks. You go and change, we'll be there in a moment."

    Jannat: "Yes."

After this, Jannat went to her room, freshened up, and lay down on the bed; and she didn't even realize when she drifted off to sleep. After some time in the evening, Sara woke Jannat up.

Sara: "Wake up, Jannat, how long have you been sleeping?"

Jannat (rubbing her eyes): "What happened, Sara?"

Sara: "Madam Ji, it's almost 8 o'clock. Come on, get up and eat, Ammi Jaan said so."

Jannat: "Okay, we're coming. You go ahead."

    Sara: "Okay, but come quickly."

    Jannat: "Yes."

Jannat got out of bed and freshened up; just then, Mrs. Ahmed called, and Jannat's face lit up with joy, and she quickly picked up the phone to talk. While talking, Jannat came out of the room and started walking in the hall, talking on the phone, and after some time, she hung up. Just then, Sara called from downstairs, asking Jannat to call Azan, and Jannat walked towards Azan's room and knocked on his door; but Azan gave no reply, and the door, which was already open, swung open as Jannat went inside; but Azan was nowhere to be seen in the room. Jannat came out of Azan's room and started walking downstairs; but then, seeing the light on in the room next to Azan's, Jannat went to check on Azan and knocked on that door from the outside; but there was no response either, and as Jannat turned to leave; she heard someone humming from inside. Jannat slowly opened the door and went inside, her eyes scanning the room. And when her gaze fell on the person from college, lying on the bed with eyes closed, wearing headphones, all the events of the day flashed before Jannat's eyes again, and seeing that person, Jannat got angry again and started looking around for something. Without saying anything, she picked up the jug of juice on the table and with all her might, threw the entire jug of juice on the face and body of the person lying on the bed. Startled by the sudden event, the person quickly sat up on the bed in surprise and, seeing Jannat standing in front of him, understood the whole situation.

Person (angrily): "Are you mad or what?"

Jannat: "We are neither mad nor anything else. We just know how to fix people like you properly. And if you ever try to mess with Jannat Rajput again, this was just the trailer. You can't even imagine what we will do next."

Person: "What do you think of yourself? Have you seen the height of your attitude? It's even taller than yours. And how dare you do this to us?"

Jannat: "What can we do? Seeing people like you just brings out the attitude in us. And even if we have attitude, at least we are not grumpy, unlike you."

Person: "First, you pour juice on us, and then you call us grumpy... you..."

The person starts moving towards Jannat; just then, Azan enters from the balcony through the door, and seeing both of them fighting, he quickly steps between them.

Azan: "Hey, what happened? Why are you two fighting like this?"

Jannat: "Ask them, Azan, what are they doing in our house? And who is this?"

Person: "Excuse me... You tell me, what are you doing in our room?"

Jannat: "Your room... Is your mind okay?"

Person: "Our mind is fine, but perhaps yours isn't..... Oh sorry, we forgot, maybe you don't have a mind at all....."

    Jannat (angrily): "We will..."

Azan: "Hey, stop it, both of you.... Stop it."

Jannat: "We didn't do anything. This is the same Mr. Rude Grumpy who ruined our dress at college today... But ask them what they are doing here?"

Azan: "Jannat, relax. Let us explain... This is Abir, the son of our Ammi Jaan's distant brother; and he has been living here for the past few months for his studies. And Abir, this is Jannat, our Mamu Jaan's daughter from Lucknow; and she just arrived yesterday for her studies. And coincidentally, your college and Sara's college are the same. So, we think you two should become friends now."

    Just then, Sara arrives.

Sara: "I've been waiting for you three for so long. Let's go have dinner."

Azan: "Yes, we were just coming."

Sara (looking at Abir and smiling): "Abir Bhai, this juice was for drinking, not for bathing."

Abir: "Yes Sara, we know; but perhaps some ill-tempered people don't understand this."

Jannat (looking at Abir): "Yes, that's absolutely true. Some people are indeed born ill-tempered."

Sara: "I don't understand what you guys are talking about. Okay, Jannat, have you met Azan Bhai's girlfriend, meaning Abir Bhai?"

Jannat (staring at Abir): "Very well."

Abir: "Indeed, we will never forget this meeting either."

Jannat: "And we won't let you forget it."

Sara signals to Azan, asking what's going on, and Azan signals back, saying he'll explain later.

Sara: "So, does this mean you two have become friends?"

Abir (smiling and pointing at Jannat): "Friends with her? Us? Impossible."

Jannat: "Exactly! Becoming friends with you is impossible for us. Because even if you take ten births, you won't be worthy of being our friend."

Abir: "And we have no desire to be your friend; but yes, we have formed a relationship, and that is a relationship of enmity and revenge. (Extending his hand)"

Jannat (shaking hands with Abir): "Don't worry, we will fully support you in this."

Abir: "Miss Rajput, now just wait and watch."

    Jannat: "You too."

Saying this, Jannat leaves from there, and Abir goes to the washroom to change.

Sara: "Bhai, looking at these two, it feels like a war is about to break out in the house. And both are equally matched and unwilling to back down."

Azan: "Yes, absolutely... Well, let's see."

After this, Sara and Azan also go downstairs for dinner. After some time, Abir also comes down after changing; but his eyes were fixed on Jannat. The chair directly opposite Jannat was empty, and Abir came and sat there. Abir and Jannat were both staring at each other as a hunter stares at its prey; and Sara and Azan, watching them, were lost in the thought of what new war was about to begin...!!

Seema said, "Abir and Jannat, why aren't you two eating anything? Please eat."

    Jannat replied, "Yes, Fufi Jaan."

    Abir said, "Yes."

Jannat thought to herself, "Mr. Abir, I won't let you get away with this."

Abir thought to himself, "Miss Rajput, you'll remember who you've crossed paths with."

After eating, everyone went to their rooms to sleep.

Jannat asked Sara, "Sara, who is this grumpy Abir?"

Sara explained, "Abir bhai is the son of Ammi Jaan's distant brother, who lives in America. But Abir bhai is very attached to India and its people; he says he feels a sense of belonging here that he can't find anywhere else in the world. That's why he wanted to complete his studies here. And besides us, he has no one here; that's why Ammi Jaan and Papa Ji asked him to stay with us. Abir bhai gets along well with everyone in the house; however, he spends most of his time with Azan bhai. That's why I call Abir bhai Azan bhai's girlfriend."

Jannat said, "Oh! So this is Mr. Grumpy's history."

Sara said, "Yes; and who told you that Abir bhai is grumpy? He's so sweet."

Jannat said, "Sweet and him... he's pure poison."

Sara said, "No, that's not true. You don't know him yet; that's why you don't know his personality. Girls swoon over him."

Jannat said, "If girls swoon over such a grumpy person, then those girls truly deserve to die."

Sara said, laughing, "😂.... Jannat, you're something else."

Jannat said, "We are absolutely serious."

Sara said, "Okay, forget it. With time, you'll get to know Abir bhai's nature yourself."

Jannat said, "Yes, but we have no desire to know him."

Meanwhile, Azan was sitting in his room with Abir.

Abir said, "You're right, Azan, this girl is a real storm."

Azan said with a laugh, "Yes, she is; but Jannat has a very good heart."

Abir said, "Her heart might be as it is; but she's quite sharp-tongued, this lady."

Azan said, laughing, "😆.... That's the only thing about her; she can't control her anger, and she just speaks whatever is in her heart. She doesn't hold anything back; that's why we sometimes have a lot of fun bothering her."

Abir said thoughtfully, "Yes, let's see... what color this new enmity with Miss Rajput will bring."

Azan said, "Honestly, if I'm to be truthful, don't make an enemy of Jannat, or you'll regret it."

Abir said, "That means you haven't understood me well yet."

    Azan asked, "Meaning?"

Abir, standing by the window, said, "It means that whatever relationship I form, I nurture it with utmost sincerity and honesty; whether it's love or enmity."

The next morning, everyone sat together for breakfast, and Abir was the last to arrive at the dining table. The seat next to Jannat was empty, and Abir came and sat there, and everyone started eating breakfast. Seema was serving breakfast to everyone.

Jannat said, "Fufi Jaan, you sit down too."

Seema said, "You all eat, I'll eat later."

Aamir said, "Hey, why later? Eat now with everyone. And what kind of behavior is this? You always eat last. Sit with everyone and eat."

Jannat said, "Yes, Fufa Jaan, you're absolutely right. You'll get weaker this way."

Seema said with a smile, "Yes, okay."

    Everyone started eating breakfast together.

Dada Ji asked Seema, "Seema, our tea?"

Seema, getting up, said, "I'll bring it now, Baba."

Jannat stopped Seema and said, "You eat breakfast, I'll make and bring the tea."

    Seema said, "But Jannat, you..."

Jannat said, "We said, Fufi Jaan, we'll make and bring it. You eat breakfast."

Seema said with a smile, "Okay."

Aamir said, "Jannat, I'll have a cup of tea too."

    Jannat said, "Yes, Fufa Jaan."

Jannat stood up and started walking towards the kitchen.

Abir called out to Jannat, saying, "Miss Rajput Ji..."

Jannat turned back and said, "Yes?"

Abir said, "Please make a cup of tea for us too."

Jannat nodded her head and said, "Yes, certainly, Abir Ji."

A little later, Jannat brought the tea.

Dada Ji, sipping the tea, said, "Well Seema, from today, we'll do one of your tasks and increase Jannat's workload."

Seema asked, "What is it, Baba Jaan?"

Dada Ji said, "From today, as long as Jannat is here, we will drink tea made by Jannat's hands... alright, Jannat?"

Jannat smiled and said, "Yes, Dada Ji."

Aamir said, "You've truly made excellent tea."

After this, everyone got up from the dining table and went to the hall. Only Jannat, Sara, and Abir were left there. Abir got up to leave.

Jannat asked, "Didn't you drink your tea?"

Abir said, "No, I don't want to drink it now."

Jannat said, "But a little while ago you wanted to drink it?"

    Abir said, "But not now."

    Jannat asked, "Why?"

Abir said, "Because we don't want to ruin the taste of Fufi Jaan's delicious breakfast by drinking this poisonous tea."

Jannat said, "Did you call the tea we made poisonous?"

Abir said, "We didn't call the tea poisonous; rather, it is poisonous precisely because you made it. So, you drink it yourself; because we've heard that only poison can counteract poison, so you won't be harmed by drinking this tea."

Jannat said angrily, "What do you think you are?"

Abir said, "Actually, we don't think it's necessary to tell you what we think we are; nor do we have that much idle time to explain this... So, bye, goodbye."

Jannat said, "Sometimes I feel like smashing their head."

Sara said, "Madam, you can do that later; but for now, let's go to college, or we'll be late on the first day."

Jannat said, "Oh... yes, we forgot because of this grumpy person... You go, we'll just get our bags and come."

Jannat turned to go downstairs from her room with her bag; but then Jannat's gaze fell on Abir's room, where he had gone for some work at that moment. Seeing this, Jannat smiled with a mischievous grin and quietly stood outside Abir's room and locked it from the outside.

Jannat smiled and said, "You called us poison, didn't you? So now we'll see how you reach college on time and how you escape the teachers' scolding on the first day of the session... So good luck, Mr. Abir..... 🤪"

After this, when Abir tries to open the door, he finds it locked from the outside and calls out to Azan to open the door; and Jannat, with a mischievous smile, goes back downstairs from there.

Jannat came to Sara and said, "Let's go, Sara."

Sara said, "Yes, let's go... Azan bhai will drop us at college."

Azan said, "Yes, as soon as Abir comes, we'll leave."

Jannat said, "But we are already late. We'll get unnecessarily delayed further."

Sara said, "Yes brother, and anyway, it's the first day of college today, so we don't want to be late. Otherwise, we'll have to face the teachers' scolding on the very first day. And besides, Abir bhai goes to college on his bike, so why don't you go?"

Jannat said, "Yes Azan, let's go."

    Azan said, "Okay, let's go."

After this, Azan drops Jannat and Sara at their college and then heads to his own college. Jannat and Sara had English and History classes together, so they both go to their first History class together. The professor starts taking everyone's introduction, and only half the class had introduced themselves when Abir knocks on the classroom door.

Abir said, "May I come in, sir???"

    The professor said, "Come in."

Abir said, coming inside, "Thank you, sir."

The professor asked, "What is your name?"

    Abir replied, "Abir."

The professor, looking at his watch, said, "What time is it?"

    Abir said, "Sir, 9:30."

The professor asked, "And when was the class supposed to start?"

Abir said, "From 9 o'clock, sir."

The professor said, "Mr. Abir, today is the first day of college, and you're late on the very first day."

Abir said, "I'm really sorry, sir."

The professor said, "You should be... And I am very punctual; so if you are late in my class again, you won't be allowed to enter from the front... You get that?"

    Abir said, "Yes, sir."

The professor said, "Now you can be seated."

    Abir said, "Thank you, sir."

Abir moved forward to take a seat and looked towards Jannat, who was trying to hide her laughter upon seeing Abir. Abir went and sat in the row next to Jannat.

Abir thought to himself, looking towards Jannat, "Miss Rajput, you played your move... Now it's my turn, just wait and watch...!!"

The professor told all the students, “From tomorrow, if any of you are even five minutes late, especially in my class, you won’t be allowed to attend my class for the entire upcoming month… and for the entire month, you will have to stand outside my class as punishment.”

All the students were a little scared upon hearing this. After some time, the professor left after taking the class, and all the students also left the class one by one. Jannat, looking at Abir with a victorious smile, moved towards the door to leave; but Abir came in front of her.

“Scolded on the very first day, in the very first class… How sad, isn’t it?” Jannat said, pretending to be sad.

“What’s the matter? You seem quite happy about such a small thing?” Abir asked.

“Wouldn’t I be? After all, our enemy has suffered a loss, a small one, but still a loss,” Jannat said with a smile.

“Miss Rajput, you don’t know Abir Farooqi yet… So just wait and watch… Now it’s my turn… Bye, take care…” Abir said with a smile and left.

“Jannat, you have to be careful. Because this person doesn’t seem that easy…” Jannat started thinking for a moment, talking to herself, “…What are we thinking? We are not ordinary people, are we? After all, we are also true Rajputs… we might give our lives, but we won’t bow our heads…”

When Jannat went out of the class, Sara was waiting for her there.

    “Let’s go, Sara,” Jannat said.

“Where were you all this time?” Sara asked.

    “Just coming,” Jannat replied.

After this, Sara and Jannat went for some more classes. Almost half the day had passed, and the classes after that were free, so both of them returned home. A little later, Abir also returned home, and after freshening up, all three of them ate and then went to their respective rooms to rest. After some time, Jannat received a call from Ahmed Sahab.

“Adab Ahmed Sahab… How are you?… How is Ammi Jaan?… And how is everyone else?… Aman and Sahar?… Dada-Dadi Jaan… and Chachu and……” Jannat said happily in one breath.

“Oh, oh, have some patience… so many questions at once… How can we answer them all together?” Ahmed Sahab said.

“Oh my god!!… Ahmed Sahab, then when are we saying that you should answer all the questions at once? Meaning, answer them calmly, peacefully, and with patience… We are not missing a train that you have to answer quickly.” Jannat said.

“Yes, how can we understand this? After all, we are not intelligent. And now you are not here to explain things to us,” Ahmed Sahab said.

“Then when are we settling here for a lifetime? We will be back soon,” Jannat said.

“Yes… Okay, how was your first day of college?” Ahmed Sahab asked.

“Absolutely perfect… Okay, forget all this… tell us, is your wife taking care of you or has she started troubling you more since we arrived?” Jannat asked.

“Here, you ask this question to your Ammi Jaan herself… Here, talk,” Ahmed Sahab said, laughing.

“Yes, please let me talk,” Jannat said.

“How are you, Jannat?” Mrs. Ahmed asked.

“Assalamu Alaikum Ammi Jaan… I am perfectly fine. Tell me, how are you?” Jannat said.

“Walaikum Assalam… We are also fine. And how is everyone there?” Mrs. Ahmed asked.

“Everyone is fine… How is everyone at home, Ammi Jaan?… We have been asking Ahmed Sahab how everyone is… but you know him, once he starts talking, his talks never seem to end,” Jannat said.

The phone was on speaker, and everyone smiled upon hearing Jannat’s words.

    “Ours?” Ahmed Sahab asked.

    “Of course, yours,” Jannat said.

“You both can talk later, because your conversations will never end… Here Jannat, talk to the others first. Everyone wants to talk to you,” Mrs. Ahmed said.

“Oh my god!!! Ahmed Sahab, look how jealous your wife is of our conversations,” Jannat said.

“Here, talk,” Mrs. Ahmed said, nodding her head with a smile.

“Yes, hand it over,” Jannat said with a smile.

After this, Jannat talked to the rest of the family for the next hour. Because she was dear to everyone and loved by all with her cheerful demeanor; and wherever she went, she made everyone her own with her affection and carefree nature; and everyone missed Jannat after she left. After talking to her family, Jannat went to the balcony and saw her grandfather sitting alone in thought, so she went to him.

“What are you doing sitting here alone?” Jannat asked as she sat down next to her grandfather.

“Nothing, we were just missing your grandmother,” Grandpa said.

“Do you miss her a lot?” Jannat asked.

“Yes, very much. Sometimes so much that I wish I could go to her,” Grandpa said with a sad tone.

“It is wrong to speak like that. And the decision of our life and death is not in our control. Because the control over someone’s death and life, all of that belongs to our Lord,” Jannat said.

    “Yes, indeed,” Grandpa said.

“And when we truly love someone, our soul connects with theirs. And that connection remains with us throughout our lives. And with all their pain, our pain forms a deep connection. And wherever grandmother is, she must be in a better place than here. And whenever she sees you so sad, she must feel very bad… and her soul must be hurting. So, would you like her to be so restless?” Jannat said.

“No, absolutely not. We would never want that. And rather, we would want her to be happy wherever she is,” Grandpa said after thinking.

“Then for that, you have to do something,” Jannat said.

    “What is that?” Grandpa asked.

“You have to be very, very, very happy and always keep smiling,” Jannat said with a smile.

“Alright, we agree; but you also have to agree to one thing of ours,” Grandpa said.

“Yes, certainly… Please tell me?” Jannat said.

“In your free time, you have to give us your company like a good friend,” Grandpa said.

“Okay, we agree,” Jannat said with a smile, shaking hands with her grandfather.

“Well, you were talking so much about love just now, so how do you know so much about love?… Have you also loved someone truly?” Grandpa asked.

“Not did, but I do,” Jannat said after thinking for a moment.

Just then, Abir came from behind and sat on the other side of Grandpa.

“What are you talking about, Grandpa?” Abir asked.

“Nothing special. We are lovers, so what else can we talk about besides matters of romance,” Grandpa said, joking.

“We know that about you; but when we saw Miss Rajput here, we thought, perhaps your tastes have changed,” Abir said, looking at Jannat.

    “Meaning?” Grandpa asked.

“Meaning, we thought that instead of talking about romance, you are currently training in talk of fights and irritability,” Abir said.

“What are you trying to say, that we are quarrelsome?” Jannat asked.

“We are not trying to say that, we are saying exactly that,” Abir said.

    “You…,” Jannat said.

“Oh no, Jannat is our very dear daughter and very intelligent,” Grandpa said in between.

“She’s intelligent… Wow Grandpa, you are too good…” Abir said, pointing at Jannat, laughing loudly.

“What are you trying to say, that we are foolish?” Jannat said, getting up angrily.

“Wow! You are indeed a little intelligent. We just hinted, and you immediately understood… Not bad,” Abir said, trying to suppress his laughter.

“You are the most foolish and incompetent person in the world,” Jannat said angrily.

“Thank you for that lovely compliment,” Abir said.

    “You…,” Jannat said.

“Yes, I know, I’m the best,” Abir said.

    “My foot,” Jannat said.

Saying this, Jannat started to leave.

“Jannat dear, finish telling us about your love story before you go,” Grandpa said.

“We’ll tell you some other time, Grandpa, because at this moment, poison has dissolved in the air here, and we can’t even breathe in it,” Jannat said and left.

“Why do you bother the poor girl?” Grandpa asked Abir.

“Grandpa, she is no poor girl. She is the aunt of the devil herself,” Abir said.

“Oh no, she is a very sweet child,” Grandpa said, laughing.

“Grandpa, you… okay, forget it… I have some work, I’ll come later,” Abir said.

    “Alright,” Grandpa said.

Meanwhile, when Jannat came upstairs to go to her room, Azan was working on his phone near the railing.

“What happened, Storm Mail? Why is your mood off?” Azan asked.

“And who else could it be? Besides your foolish and crazy friend,” Jannat said, frowning.

“Oh!!… What did Abir do this time?” Azan asked.

“He called us foolish,” Jannat said.

“Well, when you do such things, everyone will say that,” Azan said.

“Don’t you think you want us to hit you?… And what did I do?” Jannat said, putting her hands on her waist.

“We have no intention of being hit by you… And as for the deed, what? Didn’t you lock Abir in the room this morning?” Azan asked.

“Then he was the one who started it,” Jannat said.

“Yes, so now whatever happens, then…” Azan said.

    “Then?” Jannat asked.

“Then, as much as we know Abir, he is not one to easily back down and he will definitely take revenge… So, best of luck, Storm Mail,” Azan said.

“Then we are not afraid of anyone either. We will deal with them too,” Jannat said.

Saying this, Jannat went to her room and kept thinking about what Abir was going to do. All this time passed, and night fell, and Jannat fell asleep. The next morning when Jannat woke up, it was 8 o’clock, and Jannat quickly got out of bed and woke Sara up.

“Sara, wake up quickly. We’ll be late for college,” Jannat said.

“Let me sleep, Jannat,” Sara said sleepily.

“The professor will kick us out of class if we are late. It’s already eight o’clock. Don’t waste any more time,” Jannat said.

“But you set the alarm for seven o’clock, so then?” Sara asked as she got out of bed.

“Yes, we remember well that we set the alarm, but…” Jannat said thoughtfully.

    “But?” Sara asked.

“Oh, then this must have been done by Mr. Grumpy,” Jannat said.

“You mean Abir Bhai? But why would he do that?” Sara asked.

“To take revenge on us. But such a small revenge, we didn’t expect this… Anyway, leave it. You get ready quickly,” Jannat said.

“Yes, okay. I’ll go to Ammi Jaan’s room to bathe. You get ready here,” Sara said.

    “Okay,” Jannat said.

After this, Jannat went to bathe, and after coming out, she started ironing her college clothes. And thinking of Abir, Jannat quickly opened the entire door of the room, and then her eyes fell on Abir’s room, which was closed. Just then, Seema called her for breakfast, and Jannat went downstairs, and Abir was still nowhere to be seen. Jannat quickly finished breakfast and returned to her room, and after returning to the room, Jannat screamed loudly, and hearing her scream, everyone rushed towards her room…!!

Everyone had entered Jannat's room. Jannat was sitting with her suit in her hand.

Seema: What happened, Jannat? Why did you scream so much?

    Jannat: That... Fufi Jaan...

    Aamir: What happened, child? Speak.

Jannat (making a face like she was about to cry): Our suit...

Seema: Your suit? Meaning... what happened to your suit?

Jannat shows the suit she was holding, which was completely burnt from the front in the shape of the press due to ironing.

Aamir: Child, you scared all of us.

    Sara: Really, Jannat.

    Jannat: But our suit.....

Seema: It's okay, child, it happens sometimes. Perhaps you forgot the press on the suit.

Jannat: No, Fufi Jaan, we remember clearly. We took the press out and put it on the stand before going downstairs.

Seema: Okay, let's drop the matter. Don't worry now.

    Jannat: Yes.

After this, everyone left except Azan. Then Abeer arrived.

Abeer: How sad... it's very sad to hear that your dress got burnt.

Azan: Yes, that's true; but Jannat is saying that she remembers clearly that she removed the press from there.

Abeer: The press doesn't have legs that it would have walked over by itself.

Jannat: We know very well how the press was removed from there.

Abeer: Explain it to us too, then. After all, how did all this happen?

Jannat: Don't try to act too innocent. We know very well that this is all your doing.

Abeer (mimicking Jannat): Oh God!!!! You are accusing us.

Jannat: Don't put on this drama in front of us. We understand everything perfectly. And we were right about you; you are a complete jerk... in fact, you are a monkey who just jumps around and bothers people.

    Abeer: We are monkeys?

Jannat: No, you are wild monkeys... and you will realize it soon.

    Abeer: You...

Azan (interrupting to handle the situation): But seriously, Jannat... you screamed so loudly because of this suit, as if it was a big deal.

Abeer: Oh Azan, some people are a bit naive, what can you explain to them.

Jannat: Do you even know, this suit was our lucky charm and Ahmed Sahib gifted it to us on our last birthday.

Azan: Oh! So that's why you are so upset.

Jannat (looking at Abeer): Whatever you have done today, you have ended whatever little pity was left in our hearts for you... We will not show you any mercy anymore... we won't let you go.

Abeer (smiling and pointing at his watch): Leaving us or not is a separate matter, Miss Rajput... For now, there are only 20 minutes left before class starts. If you miss it today, then... Bye, take care... We're off to college.

After this, Azan and Abeer left from there.

Jannat (looking at her watch): Oh God! Jannat, hurry up, or you're done for today.

Jannat quickly took out other clothes and got ready. Meanwhile, Abeer reached class on time and was happy thinking about Jannat. There were five minutes left before class started, and then Abeer saw Jannat coming in through the door, panting, and sitting next to Sara in the row next to him. And then the professor also entered the class, and the class began. After the class, Abeer asks Sara how they reached college so quickly.

Sara: Don't ask, Abeer bhai... Today we reached here by risking our lives.

    Abeer: Meaning?

Sara: Meaning, Jannat brought us here on her scooter. In fact, not brought us, but flew us here... she drove the scooter so fast that our lives were in our mouths.

    Abeer: Not bad.

    Sara: Did you say something?

Abeer: No, nothing... Okay, I'm going. It's time for my next class.

Sara: Okay, brother... we are also going, we have class too.

    Abeer: Okay, see you later.

    Sara: Yes.

Today's day also passed like this in college. Jannat and Sara leave for home; however, Jannat turns her scooter towards the market. Jannat had been here many times, so she easily remembered the routes.

Sara: Why are we going towards the market?

    Jannat: We have some work.

    Sara: What work?

Jannat (stopping the scooter to the side): We'll tell you later. For now, you wait here by the scooter. We'll get some items from the shop in front.

    Sara: Okay.

Jannat returns in a short while, and then both leave for home. At night, when Abeer goes out with Azan for some work, Jannat secretly goes into Abeer's room and takes out a packet of white powder from her bag, which was an itching powder.

Jannat (looking at Abeer's photo on the table): You burnt our clothes, right? If you don't tear your clothes by scratching them with your own hands now, then my name is not Jannat Rajput.

After this, Jannat applies the itching powder on Abeer's entire bed and on Abeer's night suit kept on the bed, and returns to her room. And standing on the balcony, she smiles thinking about Abeer's upcoming state. After a while, Ayaan arrives there.

Ayaan: What's the matter? Smiling all alone? And as far as we know, this is your mischievous smile. And you only smile like this when you do something new?

Jannat (with a smile): You've said it perfectly, brother.

Ayaan: And who are you going to play this prank on?

Sara (coming from behind): Of course... who else would it be but Abeer bhai? Because nowadays, the atmosphere between Azan bhai and Jannat is normal... except for Abeer bhai.

Ayaan: Abeer is quite good and much better than Azan. In fact, Azan deliberately bothers you; but Abeer is quite sensible.

Jannat: Not at all, brother. That Mr. Rude Monkey is an extremely eccentric person. Ever since we've been here, he's been unnecessarily entangled with us.

Sara: And as if you are extremely well-behaved, Madam, and don't do anything.

Jannat: Yes, so we are Rajputs. We don't tease anyone first; and if someone teases us without reason, we don't let them go.

Ayaan: That's all fine, Madam; but don't be so Rajputish with the poor guy that you make his life miserable.

Jannat: Don't worry, brother, we're just explaining it to him in his own language.

Sara: But what are you going to do?

Jannat: You'll see for yourself in a little while.

Just then, the sound of a bike is heard, and all three look down at the garden where Abeer and Azan had come. And seeing them, Jannat's smile widens.

Jannat (to herself): Now it's playtime, Mr. Abeer.

Today Seema, Amir, and Grandpa had gone out for a function and were expected back late. After a while, Ayaan also went to his room, and Azan and Abeer also returned and went to their respective rooms. And after some time, the light in Abeer's room went off. About half an hour passed, and Jannat's eyes were fixed on Abeer's door, as he paced near the railing.

Sara: Go to sleep, Jannat, it's quite late, and you have to go to college in the morning.

Jannat: How can I? It's showtime now.

    Sara: Showtime?

Jannat (pointing towards Abeer's room): Yes, just wait a little.

Sara: You said you were going to do something. Does that mean you've done your work?

    Jannat (smiling and winking): Right.

Sara: But what did you do?

Just then, the light in Abeer's room turns on.

Jannat: Here, the show has started... One... Two... Three... And now it's showtime...

As soon as Jannat says this, Abeer's room door opens, and Abeer, looking distressed, goes towards Azan's room, and after a few moments, Azan returns to Abeer's room with him.

Sara: What is going on, Jannat?

Jannat: Come, let us show you.

Meanwhile, Abeer was very disturbed by the sudden itching all over his body, and Jannat and Sara came to the door of Abeer's room and stood there. And Jannat laughs seeing Abeer so distressed by the itching.

Jannat (laughing): Tut tut tut tut tut tut... Sara, I can't quite remember which ad that was for? Have you seen that ad where that poor monkey is so bothered by itching? (Pretending to think) Ah, ah... yes, I remember. That's Betadex ointment, isn't it... "He's helpless, but you're not"... Why, Mr. Abeer?

Hearing Jannat's words and seeing Abeer's condition, Azan and Sara were also trying their best to control their laughter, and Abeer was staring at Jannat restlessly.

Azan: Jannat, now tell us the medicine for the poor guy's itching, because after taking a shower, he's become even more distressed. And at this late hour, there won't be any doctor. So, tell us... we are sure you must know.

Jannat: Yes, you have said it absolutely correctly; but first, tell your rude friend to apologize to us right now for whatever misbehavior he has done with us.

Abeer (widening his eyes): Have you lost your mind? We apologize to you... Impossible.

Jannat: Okay, then sit up all night scratching like a monkey and be distressed... I forgot to show you one thing... (Then Jannat shows him a picture of him, taken just a while ago on her phone, in which he is suffering from itching.) Look Azan, "He's helpless, but you're not".......😆😆....

Abeer: Do you have any manners or decency? You just barged into someone's room and that too to do something like this.

Jannat: Yes, and you are full of manners and decency; that's why you came into our room and burnt our dress.

Abeer (getting restless): I don't want to argue with you right now. And I will deal with you later. Azan, do something, we'll go mad like this.

Azan: Look Jannat, your fight is separate; but right now, the poor guy's condition is very bad. Tell us the medicine for this, what is it? And how will his itching be cured?

Jannat: First, fulfill our condition, only then will we tell you anything. Otherwise, we're going to sleep. Besides, we have to go to college in the morning, so we don't have time to waste like this. So, hurry up and speak, before our mind changes... We will count to five, and if you don't agree to our terms by then, then you'll do whatever you have to do yourselves, because we won't tell you anything then... So your time starts now.....

Abeer: Don't you have any sense at all? Is this some game that...

    Jannat (interrupting): 1...

    Abeer: You...

    Jannat: 2...

    Azan: Jannat, you...

    Jannat: 3

    Abeer: What the...

    Abir (quickly): "I'm sorry..."

Jannat (holding her ear): "What did you say? We didn't hear... Sara and Azan, did you hear anything?... Please say it again, and properly this time."

Abir (frustrated, restlessly): "For everything we have done with you until today..." (takes a deep breath) "...for all of that, I'm sorry."

Jannat (after thinking): "No, it's not hitting the right note yet... Speak a bit more from the depths of your heart, sir."

    Abir: "Look, now you..."

Jannat: "Do you want the medicine or not?"

Abir (taking a deep breath): "Jannat ji, for everything we have done with you until today, we admit that the fault was solely ours, and for all of this, we sincerely apologize to you today."

    Jannat (smiling): "Now, perfect."

Abir: "Can we have the medicine now?"

    Jannat: "Wait, we'll get it."

Jannat brought a gel from her room and offered it to Abir.

Jannat: "Here, apply this gel on your body, you'll be fine... And one more thing, before messing with us again, think a thousand times. And if your inner devil still doesn't listen to you, then remember your current state... Now, good night."

Abir (snatching the gel from Jannat): "24 hours... If I don't make you apologize in exactly the same way within 24 hours... then my name isn't Abir."

Jannat: "The rope is burnt, but the knot remains... This proverb fits you perfectly... but for your own satisfaction, try this futile attempt as well... But for now, mend yourself... When you do something, we'll see then... Until then, good night... Allah Hafiz."

After this, Jannat came into her room with Sara, and Azan went with Abir to help him.

Azan (helping Abir): "We had warned you not to provoke Jannat... Don't underestimate her anger and stubbornness."

Abir: "So what do you think, are we insensitive? We also know how to get our way..."

Azan: "What are you going to do now?"

Abir: "Not us, you are going to do it."

    Azan: "Us?"

    Abir: "Yes, you."

    Azan: "But do what?"

    Abir: "We'll tell you now."

The next morning, everyone sat down for breakfast together, and Jannat brought tea for everyone. Amir took his teacup and went to the sofa to read the newspaper, and Seema also went to the kitchen for some work. When Jannat sat down to have her breakfast, Abir picked up her teacup from in front of her and started drinking the tea himself, while Jannat watched him in surprise.

Abir (looking at Jannat): "What... why are you staring at us like that?"

Jannat: "Why did you take our teacup?"

Abir (looking at the cup from all sides): "We don't see your name on it anywhere?"

Jannat: "Don't act too smart... You perfectly understand what we are saying."

Abir: "We don't need to act smart because we are smart by birth."

Jannat: "Hahahaha! Very funny... Joke of the century."

Abir: "Tell me something, were you born like this, or did you hit your head while growing up?"

Jannat: "No, actually, since we met you, the madness has increased."

Abir: "If our influence falls on a tyrant, they become an angel."

Jannat: "Have you heard that there is a cure for everything in the world, except for misunderstanding?"

Abir: "You've said that absolutely correctly, which is why there's no cure for your words."

Jannat (getting up from her chair): "Alright Sara, we're getting late for college. We don't have time to waste."

Abir: "Hey, but please have your tea?"

Jannat (with a taunting smile): "No, you have it... we don't want it."

    Abir: "As you wish."

After this, Jannat went to college with Sara. The day passed at college as usual until the evening, and both returned home in the evening. After returning home, Jannat talks to Sahar and other family members on the phone.

Sahar: "Jannat, we are missing you a lot, and without you, we don't feel like being here at all."

Jannat: "Then why don't you come here too? We'll study together. And honestly, we miss you a lot too."

    Sahar: "Just come back soon."

Jannat: "Yes, we'll come back there as soon as our course is completed."

    Sahar: "Okay."

Jannat: "Sahar, any message from Zameen?"

Sahar: "No... if there was, we would have definitely told you."

Jannat (in a sad tone): "Okay... it's fine."

Sahar: "Don't be sad like this. And if not for us, then at least for Zameen bhai... because he also doesn't like to see you sad. He just likes to see you smiling... Right?"

    Jannat (smiling): "Right."

After talking for a while, Jannat hangs up the phone and goes to help Seema in the kitchen. At night, everyone has dinner, where Amir informs everyone that a very good proposal has come for Ayan. And the next day was Sunday, and they were coming to see Ayan. Everyone was very happy to hear this. After dinner, Jannat comes to help Seema clean up the kitchen.

Jannat: "Here, Fuppi Jaan, let us do all this. You rest now. Anyway, guests will be coming tomorrow, and there will be a lot of work."

Seema: "No, it's okay dear. You rest. You get tired all day at college and then with the chores here."

Jannat: "It's nothing like that. And ever since we've been here, you don't let us do anything in the kitchen. If this continues, we'll forget how to cook everything. And if that happens, Ammi Jaan will kill us."

Seema (smiling): "Nothing like that will happen, because we know that our Jannat is very intelligent and she does everything perfectly."

Jannat: "Oh God! Fuppi Jaan, only you and Ahmed Sahab appreciate us. Otherwise, Ammi Jaan thinks that out of everyone in the world, we are the most useless and the one who knows nothing. And she says that if we continue like this, we will always be scolded by our in-laws."

Seema: "And we can confidently say that after your marriage, your in-laws will be fans of your cooking and your conversation in one go."

Jannat: "That's what we try to explain to Ammi Jaan, that our in-laws are not like that at all. And Zameen definitely not like tha....."

Jannat stops midway, thinking of something, and Seema, seeing her sad smile, understands her heart's condition and holds her hand lovingly.

Seema: "Do you think that after whatever happened in the past, Zameen will come back?"

Jannat: "Yes, Fuppi Jaan, we trust Zameen more than ourselves, and we know that he will definitely come back."

Seema: "Let's assume for a moment that he will come back, then will Ahmed Bhai Jaan approve this relationship and make Zameen your future?"

Jannat (in a sad tone): "We don't know what Allah has written in our destiny; but we certainly know that our Lord surely fulfills every legitimate and true heartfelt desire of His servants."

Seema (placing her hand on Jannat's head): "Our prayer to God is that He blesses you with all the happiness in life and fulfills your every wish... every desire... Amen!!!"

    Jannat: "Yes."

Seema (changing the subject): "Oh! Now don't make such a sad face... Come on, you were supposed to help us, right? So come, take this glass of milk to Baba's room for him."

Jannat (smiling, taking the glass of milk): "Yes, okay."

Seema (watching Jannat leave): "Oh Allah! May Jannat find her true love. Just don't test them any further and give them their true love; otherwise, they will break."

After this, Jannat disappears from Seema's sight, and after giving milk to Grandpa and talking for a while, she starts heading back towards her room; just then, Sara also comes from the front.

    Jannat: "Where were you?"

Sara: "Well, we went to get a book back from Ayan Bhai. So we sat there, and we started talking about your fight with Abir Bhai. And when we told Ayan Bhai about last night's incident, he went mad laughing... I mean, you two really fight so much."

Jannat: "We don't fight... he always starts it."

    Sara: "But you're no less."

Jannat: "So why should we listen to or tolerate baseless talk from anyone?"

Sara: "Oh! Our Rani of Jhansi! After what you did, do you think Abir Bhai will sit quietly? Absolutely not."

Jannat: "So, why are we afraid of his threats... (with a victory smile)... But your Abir Bhai's 24 hours are almost up, so think of a good new name for him, because he is going to lose to us."

Saying this, as soon as Jannat opens the room door and enters with Sara, Abir is already sitting there, smiling.

Abir: "Today I understood why people wait so eagerly for Jannat... that they have to lose their lives to see her.....!!"

Hearing Abir's words, the color drained from Jannat's face.

Jannat was stunned upon hearing Abir's words, and seeing her box in his hand and a tub of water nearby, her face turned pale.

Jannat (nervously): "Wh-what are you doing with our belongings? Give them back!"

Abir (with a mischievous smile): "Oh, oh... let us read first... after all, we should also see who wrote this... one minute (reading the name on the land) Yes, let's see what a big lie Mr. Zameen has written... I mean, you and darling, what a joke..."

Sara: "Zameen bhai wrote this, Jannat... Oh! So you keep this box so carefully because it contains love letters between you and Zameen bhai."

Jannat (angrily): "Look Abir ji, return our belongings quietly, otherwise..."

Abir (raising his eyebrows in the middle): "Otherwise?"

Jannat: "Look, whatever discussions we have, they are between us. Please, don't bring our personal lives into this."

Abir: "Oh, really..... you are saying this, who doesn't remember anything in return... Anyway, let's leave it... Yes, so where were we..."

Jannat: "Return our belongings, that's enough now."

    Just then Azan also arrived.

Azan: "Abir, what are you doing here?"

Abir (looking at Jannat): "Just settling some scores, nothing else."

Jannat: "Give me back my belongings."

Abir: "Alright, but say it nicely."

Jannat (taking a deep breath): "Please Abir ji, give me back my belongings."

Abir (shaking his head): "Not accepted... And who will atone for the sins you have committed by tormenting a pure, angelic person like us till today?"

    Jannat: "But..."

Abir: "Look, we don't have much time to waste, so hurry up."

    Jannat (reluctantly): "I'm sorry....."

Abir ((imitating Jannat) putting his hand to his ear): "What did you say.... we didn't hear.... Sara and Azan, did you hear anything.... Say it again, and that too properly."

Jannat (angrily): "Whatever I have done with you till today... I am sorry for all of it."

Abir (shaking his head): "No, we haven't felt it yet... Speak a little more from the depths of your heart, madam (Miss)."

    Jannat: "Look now you...."

Abir (looking at the letter): "By the way, Miss Rajput, tell me one thing, are your Mr. Zameen's eyes bad?"

Jannat (angrily): "What nonsense are you talking... And thank God (by His grace) our Zameen is perfectly fine in every way and the best too."

Abir: "By the way, we must admit that Mr. Zameen is indeed a courageous and unique person... Please introduce us to him sometime... We also want to see what superpower he has that even after knowing such a great danger (Jannat), he is embracing her... This is not something an ordinary person can do..."

Jannat: "Now you are crossing your limits, and as for our Zameen, there can be no one else like him in this world, and only a goldsmith can recognize a diamond, not a blacksmith like you."

Abir (laughing): "You and a diamond... Joke of the century 😆."

Jannat (getting frustrated): "What do you think of yourself?"

Abir: "We will tell you that at leisure, for now madam, get to the point and hurry up, apologize."

Jannat (angrily): "I don't want to apologize to you."

Abir: "Do you want the belongings or not... Say it as we said... (thinking for a moment)... it seems that these belongings are not that important or special to you, that's why you are thinking so much about apologizing to us.... (Abir starts moving towards the water with the letter)...."

Jannat (nervously): "Please, please stop... stop, don't do this....."

Abir (taking a photo of Jannat with his phone): "This is proof."

    Jannat: "Proof of what?"

Abir: "That Jannat Rajput fears no one... In this photo, fear is clearly reflected on your face, and whenever you have this misconception again that you fear no one, we will show you this photo to remind you."

Jannat: "We fear no one, and if it wasn't for this box and our belongings, we would have lost our lives, but we would never have apologized to you."

Abir: "We know very well, and we know what importance all of this has in your life because you received them from your love of life..."

Jannat glares at Azan with angry eyes.

Azan (nervously): "Wh-what have I done that you are staring at me with such killing eyes?"

Jannat: "We will talk to you at leisure and tell you what you have done."

Azan now understood that he was in trouble, and Jannat understood that she had helped Abir by telling him all this.

Abir (to Jannat): "Hurry up, and do it with love and politeness."

Jannat (hiding her anger): "Abir ji, whatever I have done with you till today, I admit it was only my fault, and for all of this, I apologize to you from the bottom of my heart... Please forgive us."

    Abir (smiling): "Now perfect."

Jannat (taking the belongings from Abir): "Get out of our room now."

Abir (standing up and stretching): "Yes, absolutely, we are leaving, and besides, today our heart is so at peace that our sleep will also be very good. (Abir holds Azan's hand) Come on Azan, let's go to sleep... The pleasure of sleep after victory is something else."

Jannat (angrily throwing a pillow at Abir): "Get out of here right now, or we will kill you."

Abir laughed and quickly left, and along with him, Azan and Sara also vanished from there, seeing Jannat so angry. Jannat sat on the bed with the letter and the box, and once again Zameen's memory took her to the past.

    (Flashback:)

Jannat and Zameen were gazing at the stars on the roof at night.

Jannat: "Zameen, looking at this moon, don't you always feel as if it's someone close to us."

Zameen: "Yes, you have said it absolutely correctly, and it feels as if it helps everyone fulfill their love."

    Jannat (thinking): "How is that?"

Zameen: "It's like when someone is far from another, this moon is the only medium that both can see at the same time."

    Jannat: "Yes, that's true."

Zameen: "Let's go Jannat, I'm hungry, let's go eat burgers."

    Jannat (happily): "Burgers?"

Zameen: "Yes, and your all-time favorite cheese burger."

Jannat (getting up): "Yes, let's go."

A little later, Jannat and Zameen went to their usual burger shop, but because it was late, there was only one burger left in the shop, and Jannat looked at Zameen with cute, sad eyes.

Zameen: "It's okay, you eat the burger, we'll get a sandwich for ourselves."

    Jannat: "But...."

Zameen: "You be completely satisfied, and you know we like sandwiches too, so no problem."

    Jannat (smiling): "Okay."

After this, Jannat and Zameen both came out of the shop.

Jannat: "Oh my God! It's good Zameen, we arrived on time, otherwise this single burger would have gone too, and our hearts would have been broken."

Zameen (shaking his head): "There's no helping you, you will always remain a child... You are so crazy about burgers that one day you might even commit murder."

Jannat (laughing): "Yes, that's true, and you be careful of us, lest we do something like this to you one day."

Zameen (smiling): "No, we know you that well, and we trust you that we hold a more important and higher position in your life than this burger."

Jannat (in a playful tone): "Don't be under any such misconception, because first there's the burger for us, and everything else later."

Zameen: "Alright then, we'll get you married to this burger and..."

As Zameen was talking, he looked to his side and Jannat was not there. After looking around, Zameen's gaze fell on Jannat, who was giving her burger to a poor, ragged child who looked hungry and helpless from his appearance. Jannat also gave the money she had at that time to the child, and the smile and radiance that appeared on the child's face after that could perhaps not be described in words, and then the child happily walked away.

Zameen: "Why did you give your burger to that child when you can't get another one now?"

    Jannat: "It's okay."

    Zameen: "Really?"

Jannat: "Yes, because we were eating that burger for pleasure and our liking, but that child wanted to eat it to satisfy his hunger."

Zameen: "And what about your pocket money that you gave entirely to that child?"

Jannat: "We probably don't need it as much as that child did, and besides, you are here, so what worries can we have."

    Zameen: "Yes, that's true."

Jannat: "Let's go home, it's very late."

    Zameen: "Yes, let's go."

The next morning, Zameen gives Jannat a paper.

    Jannat: "What is this?"

    Zameen: "See for yourself."

Jannat (opening and reading the paper): "Today we understood why people are so eager for Jannat (heaven)... that they have to sacrifice their lives to see it..... but this is God's grace upon us that He has shown us our true Jannat in our lives, and after seeing our Jannat, we realized that indeed Jannat (heaven) must be as dear and beautiful as our Jannat, and we have seen and found our Jannat in our lifetime... and all we request from our God is that our and your companionship lasts until our last breath!!.... (Your beloved Zameen)"

    Jannat: "Zameen, all this?"

Zameen: "We are not poets who can choose words to express our feelings for you, we have just tried to express our feelings to you with these broken words... we will just say that every word written in it comes from the depths of our heart and is absolutely true, and we thank God that you have come into our lives, and all we pray to our God is that He keeps our and your companionship until our last breath.... and that we never separate from each other until our last breath....."

    (Flashback End.....)

Jannat (looking at the letter in a sad tone): "Now just come Zameen and fulfill your promise to us... Don't test our patience anymore... Don't test it Zameen.....!"

Thinking all this, Jannat didn't even realize when she fell asleep.......!!!

  • 11. "तेरे लिए"....!! - Chapter 11

    Words: 0

    Estimated Reading Time: 0 min

The next day, from early morning, Seema was busy preparing for the arrival of Ayan's relatives. It was Sunday, so everyone was at home. Jannat and Sara were also helping Seema since morning. Almost all the work was done, and shortly after, the relatives arrived. They were welcomed into the house with full respect and hospitality. The girl (Jia)'s family included her parents (Rubina and Arif), aunt (Saira), and her son Rihan. When Rihan's gaze fell upon Jannat, who had come to serve water, he was captivated by Jannat's innocent, beautiful face, and his eyes didn't leave Jannat the entire time. A short while later, Ayan also arrived, and Jia's family liked Ayan and everyone else a lot. They left shortly after, giving their consent for the marriage and inviting Ayan's family to visit. Amidst all this, Azan was watching Jannat, who was occasionally staring at him with a gaze that seemed like she wanted to devour him. He knew that Jannat was keeping quiet for now because of the guests, but she would make his life miserable after they left. After the guests left, everyone got busy with their respective tasks. Jannat and Sara were sitting in the living area.

Sara: Jannat, did you notice anything today?

    Jannat: What?

Sara: How that Rihan was staring at you, and his eyes didn't leave you.

Jannat: They should thank Allah that they came for the sake of Ayan bhaijaan's marriage proposal, otherwise, the way they were staring at us, I swear, we would have broken all their bones and admitted them to the hospital.

Sara (laughing): Oh, enough, enough! Don't be so cruel to the poor guy... By the way, he is quite handsome too, you two would make a good pair.

Jannat: If he's that handsome, then we'll ask Fufi Jaan to arrange your nikah with him, because for us, our Zamian is the best.

Just then, Azan came from behind.

Azan (trying to lighten Jannat's mood): Yes, you've said it absolutely right... There's no one else for you, and besides, Rihan doesn't have that spark that can match you... Right, aren't we saying the truth?

Jannat: Yes, we are seeing. You've started speaking quite reasonably these days.

Azan: Look, Jannat, you know Abeer, and he forced us, that's why we had to tell him, otherwise he would have beaten us.

Jannat (getting up from the sofa): You'll definitely be beaten by us even now.

Azan (stepping back): No Jannat, however we are, we are your brothers after all.

Jannat: Yes, how can we forget that because of these very brothers, we had to apologize to that rude, ill-mannered person (Abeer).

Azan: I'm sorry Jannat, we will never make such a mistake again... Promise.

Jannat: We'll see if we leave you capable of doing it again.

Saying this, Jannat picked up a cushion from the sofa and started throwing it at Azan, and Azan started running here and there to dodge. Seeing Azan like this, Sara couldn't stop her laughter. Just then, Jannat's gaze fell on her grandfather's walking stick kept near the table, and she picked it up to hit Azan.

Azan (scared): A...Are you mad! You'll hurt us.

Jannat (angrily): Then what are we joking about? Obviously, we are using this to hit you.

As soon as Jannat moved towards Azan, Azan ran out of the door and into the garden, and Jannat, in anger, followed him. While trying to catch Azan, she didn't pay attention to the grass, which was wet at the moment. While running after Azan, Jannat's foot suddenly slipped, and she tightly closed her eyes. But when she didn't feel like she was falling after some time, she opened her eyes and found Abeer close to her. Abeer had saved Jannat from falling and was holding her.

Abeer: At least use your eyes properly when walking, and at least open your eyes and walk.

Jannat: It's our wish, we'll walk as we please, as we like, what's it to you.

Abeer: Yes, it's your business, because you always collide with us.

Jannat: What do you think of yourself? And we have no desire to collide with you.

Abeer: Don't forget that you've been saved from falling because of us.

Jannat: Then I told you to hold me, and I'd rather fall than take help from you.

Abeer: Oh God! How ungrateful some people in this world are!

Jannat: Leave us... And I didn't ask you to help us... Leave us, we don't need your help now.

    Abeer: Are you sure?

Jannat: Jannat, once she decides something, then again she...

Before Jannat could finish her sentence, Abeer let her go, and Jannat fell onto the grass. Sara and Ayan, standing a little distance away, burst into laughter.

Jannat (angrily at Abeer): Oh my God! My back... You're not human, you're an oppressor.

Abeer: Hey! What did I do now? You told me to leave you, so I left you... Now bye, take care.

Jannat (frustrated): May Allah not give you a place even in hell.

Abeer (as he walks away): I don't want a place there either, because I've saved it for you... For me, paradise is already reserved.

Jannat kept watching Abeer leave in anger and frustration, and Sara quickly came to help her get up.

    Ayan: Are you okay, Jannat?

    Jannat: Yes, bhaijaan, I'm fine.

The next two days passed just like that, but Jannat hadn't said anything to Abeer yet, nor had she done anything. Abeer and Azan were both surprised by this.

Azan: Abeer, I don't understand how Jannat is still quiet.

Abeer: She must be scared of me, what else.

Azan: Jannat and fear... Impossible! And because of one of your actions, I had to apologize so much to Jannat before she forgave me.

Abeer: Yes, but it's been two days, she must have done something by now... The poor girl must have thought it's not a good idea to mess with me, that's all.

Azan: As much as we know her, we know for sure that she is not someone who gives up easily, and we think something is definitely going on in her mind.

Abeer: When something happens, we'll deal with it then... For now, let's go for evening tea... Because don't forget it's Wednesday, and today we have to play a basketball match, which we've been waiting for for the past month.

Azan: Yes, I remember it well, and I also remember the bet between Rocky's team and ours, which the loser has to fulfill... I'm laughing just thinking about it, and when Rocky loses, imagine how much fun it will be when he fulfills the bet in front of everyone... Because you won't lose, as you've been a basketball champion, which he probably doesn't know.

Abeer: Don't think so far ahead... Now let's go quickly, so we don't get late.

    Azan: Yes, let's go.

Abeer and Azan both went downstairs for breakfast, and as usual, today too, Abeer picked up the tea cup in front of Jannat to drink tea, provoking Jannat, but today, as usual, Jannat said nothing. This seemed strange to Abeer, but he ignored it and started drinking his tea... After breakfast, everyone got up and went to the living area.

Azan: Abeer, you'll come out, we'll be waiting for you there... In the meantime, I'll make an important call.

    Abeer: Okay.

After a while, Jannat also got up to leave.

Abeer: What's the matter? Today no one objected to me drinking tea.

    Jannat (smiling): Thank you.

    Abeer (confused): What?

    Jannat: For helping me.

    Abeer: Meaning?

Jannat: You'll understand that yourself... Allah Hafiz... Take care.

Saying this, Jannat left, and as Abeer was thinking about Jannat's words, he suddenly understood the meaning of her words.

    Abeer (panicked): Oh shit... No...

Abir, enraged, said, "You shouldn't have done this, Jannat."

Abir ran towards his room after saying this. After waiting for a long time, when Abir did not come, Azan went to his room to see him. After a few moments, he returned and came to Jannat and Sara, who were sitting on the sofa, and said,

    "Have you seen Abir anywhere?"

"No, we haven't seen him," Sara replied.

"I don't know where he went. We have searched the entire house for him," Azan said.

"Check his room, he must be there," Jannat suggested.

"No, he's not there. We've checked," Azan said.

"Look again, maybe you haven't checked the washroom," Jannat said.

"Again?" Sara and Azan asked in surprise together.

"What... why are you looking at us like this?" Jannat asked.

"What have you done to Abir now, Jannat?" Azan asked.

"What would we do... we just said it normally," Jannat said.

"No, you can never say anything normally, especially when it concerns Abir bhai," Sara said.

"Yes, you have spoken the truth," Jannat said with a mischievous smile.

"Oh God... what have you done to him now, Jannat, and where is he?" Azan asked.

"Oh my God! You're talking to us as if we are actually cunning kidnappers and have murdered your Abir ji... Come on, we are telling the truth, Abir ji is in his room," Jannat said.

    "But you did..." Azan began.

Just then, Abir called out to Azan from his room, and Azan quickly went to his room.

"We have been waiting for you outside for the past hour, and we searched everywhere for you, and... anyway, hurry up or you'll be late for the match," Azan said.

"Azan, I can't go to the match today," Abir said.

"What are you saying? And you know that if you don't play the match today... No, Abir, we have to go," Azan said in surprise.

"I understand everything, but still, I can't go," Abir said.

"But why? And what happened that you are saying this?" Azan asked.

    "Well, actually..." Abir began.

Just then, Jannat came into Abir's room.

"What happened, Abir ji... are you feeling unwell?" Jannat asked, feigning innocence.

"Don't act so innocent... I never thought you would do something like this," Abir said, gritting his teeth.

"We also don't think about what you do," Jannat said.

"Will someone tell me what happened?" Azan asked.

"He..." Abir started, but before he could finish, he quickly went into the washroom. Jannat couldn't help but laugh at Abir's reaction. Just then, Sara also arrived.

"Jannat, what is all this?" Sara asked.

"We didn't do anything, we just gave Abir ji his stomach medicine in his tea," Jannat said.

"What?" Azan and Sara said in unison.

"Did you poison him....." Sara said worriedly.

"N... no, Jannat can't do that... right, Jannat?" Azan asked, shaking his head as he asked Sara.

"Whatever Allah wills will happen, what can we do... humans are just a means to do anything," Jannat said with a mischievous smile.

"Oh no! ... You know today is my and Abir's match, and if Abir loses to Rocky today, he will have to..." Azan said, sitting on the bed.

"Bulbul will be Abir ji's girlfriend for a whole week.... Right?" Jannat asked.

    "You knew this," Azan said.

"Obviously, that's why we helped Abir ji so that we could unite him and Bulbul ji... And besides, bringing two hearts together is a very virtuous deed," Jannat said, teasing Abir.

"One minute.... are you talking about that crazy girl from your college, Bulbul?" Sara asked.

"Yes, you've hit the nail on the head," Jannat said with a mischievous smile.

    "But she is..." Sara began.

"She's a number one crazy girl, and there's hardly a boy in college whom she hasn't proposed to... Moreover, the extent is that she often tries this in our college too... she's a real clingy girl, and her size is.... Oh God... she's two-three times the size of Abir... and if God forbid, one day she falls on someone weak, they would be crushed... In short, she's not a normal girl, but a complete specimen and the funniest girl in the entire college, and spending a week with her, let alone a normal person can't spend even one day with her," Azan interrupted.

Just then, the poor Abir came out of the washroom in a terrible state.

"Like seriously... Abir bhai, you're really going to introduce us to our future bhabhi today," Sara said, trying to control her laughter.

"Sara, it's a really very bad joke," Abir said.

"Oh, oh, where is the joke in this.... Sara is talking about your future, which is going to be your destiny for at least the next entire week. Tut tut tut tut tut tut..... (acting sad) By the way, we are very sorry that you won't be able to play the match today," Jannat said, looking at Abir with pity.

"Stop this drama of yours, and don't forget that Allah has also said that whatever deeds we do, we get double in return, so you think about yourself now," Abir said, glaring at Jannat.

"You worry about yourself and think about your Bulbul ji, and at least for the next week, weave sweet dreams by uniting your and Bulbul's lives," Jannat said with a smile.

"You..." Abir said angrily, but leaving his sentence incomplete, he went back into the washroom. Jannat came out of the room laughing with Sara, and Azan sat on the bed with regret. What can be said about the poor Abir, he was neither in a condition to say anything nor to listen, the poor guy was in a very bad state at the moment. Anyway, by calling out to God, the poor guy somehow got through the night, but it was only after two or four days that he recovered from this shock and its effects.

Four days later, Abir was going to college to fulfill his condition. Upon reaching college, he had to tell Rocky and his team that he would make Bulbul his girlfriend for the next week. For a moment, looking at Bulbul and thinking about enduring her for the next week, Abir cursed himself mentally for even messing with Jannat, but what had to happen had happened. Jannat and Sara had already reached college before Abir, and Jannat couldn't stop her laughter seeing this scene.

"Laugh as much as you want, Miss Rajput, you will have to return it all with interest," Abir said to Jannat.

"Oh, don't worry about us now, go and handle your lovely and cute girlfriend... Okay, enjoy... So Allah Hafiz," Jannat said.

"It's my own fault for getting involved with such a crazy girl," Abir thought to himself.

In the evening, after attending some classes, Jannat and Sara were free.

"Now the next class is free," Jannat said.

"Yes, let's rest a bit in the meantime," Sara said.

"Okay, let's go sit somewhere," Jannat said.

"Alright, let's go, but first let's go to the canteen. We didn't even have breakfast in a hurry this morning, so now we are very hungry," Sara said.

    "Okay, let's go," Jannat said.

After this, Jannat and Sara both went to the canteen. Sara ordered a pizza sandwich for herself, which she loved, and Jannat ordered a cheese burger.

"By the way, Jannat, how many people have asked us about you since morning," Sara said.

"Why about us?" Jannat asked while eating her sandwich.

"Oh, after all, you are so beautiful and lovely," Sara said.

"Anything," Jannat said, shaking her head.

"No, we are telling the truth, and...." Sara began.

Just then, a boy of about 25 years old, along with a few other boys, came to Jannat and Sara's table. He put his feet on Jannat and Sara's table and sat down in a king-like style, and without taking his eyes off Jannat, a strange smile appeared on his lips. Jannat was staring at the boy with hungry eyes.

Jannat looked the boy up and down. She didn't know whether to be angry at him or laugh at his appearance. The boy was of medium height, but his clothes and appearance were that of a street ruffian. He wore red and yellow clothes, red spectacles, and had his curly hair tied in a ponytail with small clips.

Boy (to Jannat): "We are Raju Bhai, and we are from a village in Bihar."

Jannat (almost shouting): "So what should we do?"

Raju: "We absolutely do not like it when someone talks to us in a loud voice."

Jannat (standing up): "Go and tell your nonsensical babble to someone who is interested in listening to it, and if you misbehave with us like this again, we will make you remember the state we'll put you in."

Raju: "Interesting... what is interesting? We like brave people very much, and we have fallen for you because of this attitude of yours. That is why you have to become our girlfriend now, for the next one month."

Sara: "Oh, what are you saying? Don't you love your life at all that you are saying this to Jannat?"

Raju Bhai: "Hey child, stay away, otherwise these followers of ours standing around us will take you away to feed them to our pet crocodile."

Sara (softly to Jannat): "He seems completely mad to me, Jannat... Let's go from here."

Jannat: "No, we will sort his mind out right now."

Sara: "Jannat, leave it, why engage with such people?"

Raju Bhai: "What is this whispering going on between you two?"

    Jannat: "Are you our brother?"

    Raju: "No."

    Jannat: "Are you our father?"

    Raju: "No."

Jannat: "Do you have any relation or any connection with us?"

Raju: "No... but why are you asking us all this?"

Jannat: "To tell you that since you have no relation with us, nor any concern, we are not your servants to answer your useless questions."

Raju (to Sara): "Girl, explain to your friend to talk to us with some manners, otherwise it won't be good for her."

Sara: "If you knew whom you've messed with, you would never have said this. Now, your well-being lies in leaving our path and going from here."

Raju Bhai (taking out a knife from his pocket): "Child, don't interfere, otherwise, if our temper flares up, it will be very bad."

Sara (scared of the knife): "Wh-what are you doing? This is not right... we will complain about you."

Raju Bhai (waving the knife): "Didn't I say not to say anything... so just be quiet."

Sara fell silent and started looking around. At that time, there were very few people in the canteen. Mostly girls, and a few boys were also quietly watching the spectacle.

Raju Bhai (to Jannat): "Look dear, now just quietly agree to what we say, o..."

Jannat (interrupting, staring with her big eyes): "Or else??....." (Taking a step forward) "What will you do?"

Raju: "W-we a-are telling you, if we get angry, it will be very bad, and..."

    Jannat (coming closer): "And?"

Raju (standing up a bit nervously and stepping back): "L-l-look, if this knife cuts you, blood will come out, and that's why we are telling you to stay a little distance away from us."

Jannat was taking steps closer to Raju. As she got closer, the expression on her face changed. What she had shown as bravery a little while ago seemed to be turning into fear.

Jannat: "Why? You want to make us your girlfriend, right? So why are you moving away from us?"

Raju: "Yes, but be it from a distance... what's the need to come close to us."

Jannat: "When I saw you earlier, I was angry, but now I have changed my mind, and I am ready to do whatever you say."

Surprise was evident on Raju's face.

Jannat: "What happened? Why are you so surprised by this?"

    Raju: "N-no."

Jannat: "Let's do one thing, let's get our families to meet each other soon."

    Raju: "Wh-why?"

Jannat: "We will fix our marriage there, won't we?"

Sara (to herself): "Oh God.... I think Jannat has gone mad, talking such nonsense."

Raju (taking a deep breath): "Hey g-girl, you are trying to confuse us with your words, aren't you."

    Jannat: "No, not at all."

Raju (shaking the knife in his hand): "Don't even think of playing tricks with us, or it will be very expensive for you..."

Just then, with a jerk, Jannat snatched the knife from Raju's hand and took it into her own. No one understood what was happening. Raju's men tried to move forward, but Jannat gestured them to stay back with the knife.

Raju (to his men): "Hey, why are you all scared? She won't do anything, she's just doing all this to scare us."

Jannat (with a smile): "If you really think we are just trying to scare you, then that's your misconception."

Raju: "Oh, we know these things very well, that you are just trying to..."

Just then, Jannat did something no one expected. She made a cut on Raju's hand with the knife, not deep, but enough to draw blood. Raju, seeing blood trickling from his hand, got scared and looked at Jannat with a face like a crying child.

Raju (scared, making a crying face): "Are you out of your mind? What have you done? So much blood is flowing from my hand... Hey, call a doctor... otherwise, I will die."

Jannat (lightly placing the knife on Raju's neck): "Now do you believe that we don't just scare like you, and now we won't have to think much to run this knife on your neck, and if you think we are still joking, we'll show you that too right now..."

Raju (terribly scared): "N-n-no.... we... we p-p-please forgive me... Oh, I am a very honest person... I am a very simple and true person from Bihar and have only come here to study... I was just trying to scare you, and these are my friends, not my goons... I have made a big mistake, please forgive me, sister... I swear by Mother Ganga, I will never make such a mistake again."

Jannat: "We know, and just by looking at you, we understood that you are an extremely decent person, and all this you did couldn't have been your plan. And perhaps we even know who you did all this at whose behest, but still, we want to hear it from your mouth once."

Raju remained silent for a while. When Jannat applied a little pressure on the tip of the knife, his condition worsened.

Raju: "He considers me his elder brother, that's why I agreed to do all this for him."

Jannat (with a commanding voice): "Name?"

    Raju: "A-A-Abir."

Jannat (lowering the knife and smiling): "Okay, now you can go."

Raju (taking a deep breath): "Thank you, sister."

Jannat: "But if you ever try to do any such absurd thing with us again, this knife will directly... you understand, right?"

Raju: "I swear by my mother... I will never make such a mistake in my life again."

    Jannat: "Good."

Abir had been very upset with Bulbuli since morning. She wasn't leaving his side for a moment and was sticking to him, bothering him with her actions. Whenever Abir looked at Bulbuli, he remembered Jannat, because of whom all this had happened. He was thinking that once Jannat made Raju scared and forced him to comply, he would trouble Jannat in the same way through Raju, just as Bulbuli was bothering him. Then Jannat would realize it, and Abir would get some relief. But little did he know that his pawn had already surrendered to Jannat, and his entire plan had been ruined. He was thinking all this when, a few moments later, Jannat was standing in front of him.......!!!

Abir (From Jannat): Ah... you are here?

Seeing Jannat's expression, Abir thought perhaps she knew everything and would fight with him again. But after looking at Abir for a few moments, Jannat smiled, and Abir was perplexed by her reaction.

Jannat (Smiling): We are very happy to tell you about the plan you made for us, and it's very unfortunate for you that your entire plan has failed. What did you think, that it was so easy to scare Jannat and make her do what you wanted? If anyone thinks that they can force us to do something through stubbornness, coercion, or fear, or make us agree to their wishes, then that is their biggest mistake, because Jannat is not one of those who agree to anything out of fear or force. But if someone asks for our life with love and affection, we would give it without thinking twice.

Abir (Looking at Bulbul with despair): This is all because of your grace that we are in this trouble, and that's why we wanted to trouble you in the same way.

Jannat (Looking at Bulbul while mocking Abir): Oh Allah! How lovely Bulbul Ji is! And it's only by luck that someone gets such a brilliant and beautiful girl. As for the rest, I don't know, but we are very happy today about your relationship with Bulbul Ji getting established, and today is such a big day for you, so we haven't taken offense to any of your jokes or actions today, and we haven't taken anything you said to heart... (Jannat tries to suppress her laughter seeing Abir's expression)... Anyway, we are leaving, because we don't want our presence to disrupt your and your Bulbul Ji's privacy... So, take care and enjoy... Allah Hafiz.

Having said this, Jannat left, looking at Abir with pity and a smile. Abir was left stunned by Jannat's words. After Jannat left, Bulbul, who had been listening silently to Jannat and Abir's conversation all this time, and whose hands were full of food, would have made anyone think she hadn't eaten for a long time. But for Bulbul, this was normal, and her day consisted of only two things... chasing boys and constantly eating. Bulbul walked up to Abir.

Bulbul (Eating a burger): Who was that girl? Do you know her?

Abir: Whoever she is, what does it matter to you?

Bulbul: How can you say that? It shouldn't matter to us? After all, you are our boyfriend, and we can't just let you talk to anyone like that.

Abir (Irritated): You don't need to be so possessive, because you are not our girlfriend. The sooner you get this straight in your head, the better it will be for you.

Bulbul (Laughing her peculiar laugh): Whether you admit it or not, you are our boyfriend for the next week. And it's God's grace that you lost and we found you, even if it's just for a week. And since we have this golden opportunity, we will live it to the fullest.

Abir (With despair): Oh Allah! Where have I gotten myself into?

Abir left dejectedly, and Bulbul followed him, trailing him all day, which greatly irritated Abir. When Abir reached home in the evening, Aamir, Seema, and Dada Ji had gone to Jia's house, and Sara, Azan, Ayan, and Jannat were sitting together in the living area. Jannat, Sara, and Azan, along with Ayan, burst out laughing, understanding Abir's condition and his expression as described by Jannat, which made Abir even more irritated, and he went to his room. Azan also followed Abir into his room.

Abir: Why are you here? ... Go laugh and...

Azan: I'm sorry, buddy... Please don't be angry.

Abir: Azan, man, I'm done... I couldn't tolerate that crazy girl for one day, so how will I manage for the whole week... No, Azan, do something, or I'll go mad.

Azan: Just relax, Abir... Don't think too much, and it's just a week, it will pass by.

Abir: It will pass by for you, but not for me, because you don't know how difficult this one day has been for me, like a mountain.

Azan: Okay, for now, don't think about all this after coming home, and freshen up quickly, then we'll eat together.

    Abir: Alright, I'm coming.

At night, Dada Ji, Seema, and Aamir return home and inform everyone that they liked Jia a lot, and Ayan's engagement is scheduled for this week. Everyone is very happy. At night, Jannat talks to her family at home, and they are also very happy to hear this news.

Sahar (Happily): This way, we will meet again after so long.

Jannat: Yes, absolutely, we are missing you all a lot too.

Sahar: Here, Jannat, talk to Tayaji.

Jannat: Yes, pass the phone... (After a few moments, Ahmed Sahib comes on the phone) Assalamu Alaikum, Ahmed Sahib.

Ahmed Sahib: Walekum Assalam, our dear... How are you?

Jannat: We are absolutely fine... Tell me, and how are Ammi Jaan and everyone else?

Ahmed Sahib: Alhamdulillah, everyone is absolutely fine.

Jannat: Are you all coming to Bhai Ayan's engagement?

Ahmed Sahib: Is that even a question?

Jannat: It's not a question, but we still asked.

Ahmed Sahib (Smiling): We will all come... Now go to sleep, it's very late, and you have to go to college in the morning.

Jannat: Yes, and you take care of yourself and everyone, and are you taking your BP and other medicines on time? Has your wife started being negligent without us being there... If that's the case, tell us without any hesitation, we'll talk to her right away and ask.

Ahmed Sahib (Shaking his head and laughing): When will you grow up, Jannat...

Jannat: Oh God! Ahmed Sahib, we are talking about your health here, and you are worried about us growing up.

Ahmed Sahib: Yes, dear, you don't need to worry, your Ammi Jaan is taking good care of us, and we are absolutely fine.

Jannat: Good, but that doesn't mean only our Ammi Jaan should take care of you... You have to take care of her just as much.

Ahmed Sahib (Laughing): As you command, my queen... Is that okay now?

    Jannat (Laughing): Absolutely fine...

Ahmed Sahib: Take care of yourself.

Jannat: Yes, and you too... Allah Hafiz.

    Ahmed Sahib: Allah Hafiz.

After this, Jannat went to sleep. The next day, as soon as Jannat served tea to everyone, Abir again picked up her cup and started drinking the tea... Even after Jannat had mixed poison in his tea that day, he had never stopped taking Jannat's tea because he didn't want Jannat to think he was scared of her for that act. Today, Abir intentionally picked up Jannat's tea again to annoy her, and Jannat smiled. Abir was momentarily lost in thought, wondering if Jannat had mixed something in it again since she was smiling like that. Jannat, seeing Abir's expression, understood what he was thinking.

Jannat: Don't worry, we haven't mixed anything in it today, you can drink it without any fear because there's nothing in it.

Abir: But then why did you smile?

Jannat: Just thinking that you need this tea more.

Abir: And why do you think that?

Jannat (Standing up): Because you have to go to college and deal with all your dear and sweet girlfriend's tantrums for the whole day, so this will calm your mind a bit... So drink up. (Jannat walks a few steps) And yes, if you need more, don't hesitate to tell us, because we don't want you to meet her disappointed or tired; rather, we want you to meet her with a happy and refreshed mind.

Having said this, Jannat left with a smile.

Abir (Putting a knife in his toast and irritated): Girlfriend, my foot... (Thinking about Bulbul): Oh Allah! Help us, we can't handle that girl... In fact, both these girls..... we'll go mad... One is this (Jannat) who is mentally torturing us, and the other is Bulbul who will drive us crazy by bothering us all day... Oh Allah!.... Six days... How will they pass..... Everything is easy in this world except understanding and tolerating a girl... Oh God.......!!!

Abeer reached college reluctantly because if he didn't attend college during that time, he would have to fulfill the condition for the next fifteen days. He had no other option. When Abeer reached the college and looked around to see if Bulbul was there, and when he was assured, he took a step forward. As soon as he took a few steps, he heard Bulbul's voice calling him from behind.

Abeer (ignoring, walking): "Oh no... not again."

Just then, Rocky and his friends appeared in front of Abeer.

Abeer (to himself): "This was the only thing missing."

Rocky (mocking Abeer): "This is not good, Abeer... Who ignores such a cute and beautiful girlfriend?"

    Just then, Bulbul arrived.

Bulbul: "Abeer, we have been calling you for a long time, but you weren't listening."

Abeer: "Oh... really... we didn't hear."

Bulbul (showing her teeth): "It's okay, if you didn't hear, it's okay."

Abeer (with a fake smile): "Yes."

Rocky: "By the way, Abeer, you shouldn't have come to college for the next week."

Abeer (raising his eyebrows): "And why is that?"

Rocky: "Well, now you have a week's time with Bulbul, so don't waste it, and don't waste this romantic time like this, use it well."

Abeer: "Thank you, but we don't need your advice at all... Yes, if we need it in the future, we will definitely take it... but we are very sorry that you couldn't take this beautiful opportunity because of us."

Rocky: "Whether it was my good luck or your bad luck, whatever it was, this chance came to you."

Abeer: "You should be grateful that we couldn't make it to play that match that day for some reason, otherwise you also know very well that it is very difficult to defeat us, because we don't show any mercy in sports, and it is not just difficult but impossible to beat us in this game."

Rocky: "That would only be known if the game had been completed, who is more capable... Anyway, for now, seeing you and Bulbul together, I can only thank the reason wholeheartedly."

    Just then, Jannat arrived.

    Bulbul: "Thank you, Jannat..."

    Jannat (smiling): "Welcome."

Abeer: "What are you thanking her for?"

Jannat: "Well, actually, when we came to college, she was looking for you, and she thought you hadn't come to college yet, and that's why she was waiting for you standing at the college gate. Then we told her that you had just gone inside and would be found nearby."

Abeer (staring at Jannat): "Truly, we are so indebted to you that it feels like we should repay them with interest and free ourselves."

Jannat (with a mischievous smile): "There's no need for that at all, because we often do favors for poor people like you."

Rocky (to Jannat): "I think from your words, I feel that you are the reason why Abeer and Bulbul are together today?"

Jannat: "Yes, you have said that absolutely correctly."

Rocky: "Just by looking at you, I understood that only you could do such a brave thing, and actually, I like brave and beautiful girls a lot, and I think if we two were paired up, we would create havoc in the entire college."

Jannat: "Actually, we have no such intention, and besides, couples look good only with equals."

Rocky: "Oh, who told you that you are not our equal?"

Jannat: "We are not talking about ourselves, but about you, because by God's grace, we are mentally perfectly sound."

Rocky (irritated): "Meaning, I am crazy?"

Jannat: "We haven't said anything like that, but one knows oneself better than others, and if you are saying it now, how can we oppose you? Anyway... if you really want to pair up, then no one can be more perfect for you than Bulbul ji, and after this week, she will also be free, and surely we can say that your and Bulbul ji's pair will create havoc not just in the whole college, but in the entire city... Okay, please pay attention to what we have said, okay, Allah Hafiz... (speaking emphatically) Bhaijaan..."

Saying this, Jannat left. Abeer and Rocky's friends started laughing after hearing Jannat's words.

Abeer: "Wow... Bhaijaan... At least, no girl we proposed to has ever called us Bhaijaan, especially not on the spot... God forbid... If we had faced such a big insult even once, we would have drowned ourselves in a mouthful of water and perished."

Rocky left in anger, and Abeer watched him go, laughing. But as soon as he saw Bulbul looking at him strangely and smiling at him, the smile on his face disappeared once again. Slowly, somehow, the day passed for poor Abeer, and five days remained out of seven, and every minute of these seven days was passing for him by counting on his fingers. Anyway, somehow, these mountain-like days also passed for poor Abeer, and only one day was left, and Ayan's engagement was the day after. Jannat and Sara did not go to college today due to work at home, and Abeer also returned from college early in the evening. He didn't want to go, but if he didn't, he would have to endure Bulbul's torture for more days, but today Abeer was happy that finally he wouldn't have to deal with Bulbul, and tomorrow was Sunday, and he wouldn't have to go to college, and the rule wouldn't be broken because tomorrow was a holiday for college, so how could he meet Bulbul, and tomorrow he was just going to enjoy Ayan's engagement well. Everyone at home was busy with work. All of Jannat's family members were also coming today, but when Jannat called home, she found out that due to some important work, they would arrive by flight tomorrow, and since the engagement was tomorrow night, other guests would also arrive tomorrow morning. Preparations for the engagement, scheduled for tomorrow evening, were almost complete. Jannat went to make tea for everyone after dinner at night, but after a few moments, she came out screaming.

Grandfather: "Jannat, what happened to you?"

Seema: "What happened, Jannat? Why are you so scared?"

    Aamir: "Are you alright, dear?"

Jannat (nervously): "That... that in the kitchen..."

Ayan: "What is in the kitchen?"

Jannat: "Brother, there's a cockroach in the top drawer in the kitchen, a flying one, and so fat."

Seema: "Jannat, you are being silly, dear, why are you so afraid of a cockroach?"

Jannat: "You know, Aunt, that we are not afraid of anything, but since childhood, we have had a phobia of cockroaches, and whenever we see one, we just can't tolerate it."

Azaan: "Oh God, Jannat, you are not afraid of knives and swords, and a mere cockroach... like seriously?"

    Aamir: "Azaan... you've started again."

Azaan: "No, we were just praising Grandpa Jannat."

Aamir: "We know very well how much you praise Jannat, in fact, you don't miss an opportunity to trouble Jannat."

Grandfather: "Okay, you sit down, Jannat, Sara will bring the tea."

Sara: "Yes, Jannat, you sit down, we'll make the tea."

Azaan: "God forbid... Grandpa, do you want us all to miss Ayan's engagement tomorrow... by making us drink Sara's poisonous tea?"

Sara (irritated): "Grandpa, look at Azaan Bhaijan."

    Aamir: "Azaan....."

    Azaan (laughing): "Sorry Grandpa..."

Seema: "You all sit down, I'll bring the tea."

Amidst all this, Abeer, who had been sitting silently, was listening to everything with a mischievous smile. After some time, Seema brought tea for everyone.

Grandfather (drinking tea): "Oh my, Ayan's engagement is tomorrow, but there is no feeling in our house that such a big function is happening tomorrow."

Sara: "What do you mean, Grandpa?"

Grandfather: "Meaning, there's no noise, no commotion, nothing at all. In our time, festivities for weddings used to start weeks in advance, and in today's time, you don't even know anything a day before. These big DJs and decorators just make the atmosphere sad by playing loudly and think they are starting the celebration of joy, but what's the use of such a celebration if everyone doesn't gather together and start the upcoming joys together."

Jannat: "Yes Grandpa, you have said that absolutely correctly."

Grandfather: "Yes, in our time, where were these DJs and all, but in that time, every moment of joy was lived to the fullest, and not lived in such a hurry. When my and your grandmother's wedding happened, preparations started months in advance."

Sara: "Grandpa, let's do one thing, today we will enjoy it like in your time, without any DJ or home theatre, meaning we will play Antakshari..."

    Jannat: "Good idea."

Abeer: "Absolutely a flop and boring idea."

Jannat: "Those who find it flop or boring can leave from here, but we want to play."

Abeer: "We don't need to know from you whether we want to stay here or not."

Seema: "Oh, stop it! Don't you two start again."

Grandfather: "Okay, fine, then tonight we will all play this."

Azaan: "Abeer, you come too, it will be fun."

Abeer: "No, we are very tired, you guys play, we are going to sleep."

    Azaan: "Okay, then you rest."

After this, Sara and Jannat go with Sabra (the maid) to arrange for playing in the living area. Meanwhile, Azaan goes to the room with Abeer to change.

Azaan: "By the way, what is going on?"

Abeer: "Nothing, just that we don't feel like playing."

Azaan: "We are not talking about playing."

    Abeer: "Then?"

Azaan: "Then, why were you smiling with such a naughty smile at Jannat's fear of cockroaches?"

Abeer: "Because we forgot that every person has a weakness and a fear, which just needs to be found, and it's the same in Miss Rajput's case. No knife or sword worked for us, but this cockroach will definitely work for us, because although it will be difficult, Miss Rajput will now be under our control."

Azaan: "What are you planning to do?"

Abeer (with a mischievous smile): "We won't tell you, but we will show you tomorrow."

Azaan: "God knows what will happen to you two. Anyway, we will just say that before doing anything, be prepared for Jannat's revenge in the future."

Abeer: "Don't worry about that, we will handle all that now, because thankfully, we will be free from Bulbul tomorrow as well, and now all our concentration is on Jannat ji. Miss Rajput has pushed the limits with us this past week, but now it's our turn."

Azaan: "All that is fine, but..."

Just then, Sara calls Azaan to play, and Azaan goes downstairs, and Abeer just smiles thinking about Jannat.

Abeer (smiling): "Miss Rajput, be ready........."

Jannat and Sara arranged the living area by placing beds and pillows. Soon everyone gathered there, and two teams were formed. Team A was the ladies' team, comprising Seema, Jannat, Sara, and Sabra, while Team B included Aamir, Grandpa, Azan, and Ayaan. However, due to an important phone call, Aamir went to his room.

Azan (jokingly): "Oh, what is this? We are two, and that too with an elder."

Grandpa: "You and your father might be elders, we are still young."

Ayaan: "Yes, you are absolutely right."

Grandpa: "Alright, let's begin. Aamir will probably take some time, so let's play with just this much for now."

    Sara: "Yes, that's fine."

Grandpa: "But all the songs will be old ones... not these modern noisy ones."

Sara: "Grandpa, this is cheating. We only know the modern songs."

    Grandpa: "Then we won't play."

Azan: "We were already saying, Grandpa, that these people are afraid to play with us, that's why they are making excuses."

Jannat: "No, it's nothing like that. And you wait, Grandpa, we will play... Don't worry, Sara, you sing the song you remember, we and Auntie are also here to help you."

    Sara: "Okay."

Jannat: "But the losing team will have to fulfill any one condition of the winning team."

    Azan: "Agreed."

First, from Grandpa's team, Grandpa starts singing.

Grandpa: "Come, O spring, my heart is restless... I can't live without you, come..."

Seema: "Go, go, go, don't let me remember you here anymore, let me forget, let me go, go, go, don't remind me of you now..."

Ayaan: "Why has your gaze become displeased? Forgive me if I have erred. My intention was nothing, your mistake has become its own punishment..."

Jannat: "A wanderer sings songs of life, tells all of us who are living the way to live, a wanderer sings, ho ho ho..."

Azan (acting with Seema): "How are you, sir? What is your opinion? You have become restless, oh oh... you have slipped like this, ah ha, how are you, sir..."

Sabra: "Kabir says, listen, brothers, I'm telling you something, if the world is a numbered one, I am ten numbered, Kabir says, listen, brothers, I'm telling you something, if the world is a numbered one, I am ten numbered..."

Grandpa: "Wait, wait, oh traveler, wait, I am the traveler to your destination, in your eyes, my badness is seen, I am not a bad person at heart, wait..."

Sara: "Wherever I go, you come there, you steal into my heart, tell me, who are you to me..."

Azan (standing and dancing): "We are your lovers for centuries, we are your lovers for centuries, whether you believe it or not, we have come to win you over, whether you believe it or not..."

Seema: "A dream in the eyes, a lover in the dreams, my heart has fallen for the lover, my heart has fallen for the lover..."

Grandpa: "This is the public, public, sir, this public is of all kinds, sir, what's inside, what's outside, what's inside, what's outside, it recognizes everything, it's the public, it knows everything, it's the public..."

    Azan: "Now it's your turn (Jannat's team starts thinking)... Tick-tock 1... Tick-tock 2..."

Seema (quickly): "I left with a word unspoken on my lips, if that word is revealed, it's a plea, a plea, this word has love, and poison too, yes, I left with a word unspoken on my lips, if that word is revealed, it's a plea, a plea..."

Ayaan: "The wait has become unbearable, no news has come from my beloved, we are sure she is not unfaithful, then what is the reason for this wait..."

Jannat: "These days and nights are passing by, I wanted to tell you what was in my heart, well, today I am saying it, I love you, I love you, I love you..."

Now it was Grandpa's team's turn, but at this time they couldn't remember any songs, and on top of that, they couldn't concentrate due to the noise and commotion from Jannat's team. Jannat starts counting... tick-tock 1... 2... 3... 4... Sara... tick-tock 5... 6...

Azan: "Grandpa, brother, do something, otherwise we will lose..."

    Jannat: "Tick-tock... 7..."

    Sara: "... 8..."

    Jannat: "Tick-tock... 9... and..."

Just then, Abir comes from behind singing towards Grandpa, and Grandpa's team happily starts singing along with Abir.

Abir: "This moon-like radiant face, golden hair, these lake-like blue eyes, hold a deep secret, how can I praise the one who made you, how can I praise the one who made you..."

Azan (hugging Abir): "Thank you, our brother... you saved us at the last moment."

Jannat: "But you have already lost."

Sara: "Yes, Jannat is absolutely right."

Ayaan: "Why? Why... why did we lose?"

Jannat: "Because Abir Ji wasn't even in this game, so how could he sing for your team... and this is justice."

Abir: "Why? When you four were playing against three, you didn't act justly... now you remember justice."

Jannat: "Th...that was because we didn't forbid it, and besides, their team also had four people, it was just last time Phupha Jaan had a call and he left... so what's our fault in this?"

Abir: "But if you didn't say anything then, why are you feeling so troubled now?"

Grandpa: "Yes, Abir is speaking absolutely correctly... and justice also dictates that there is no harm in this."

Sara: "Grandpa, this is blatant cheating."

Grandpa: "There is no cheating, and it's very late now, everyone go to sleep, we have to wake up early in the morning."

Azan: "But who won? Tell us, Grandpa?"

Jannat: "Obviously, our team has won."

Grandpa: "No, both teams were evenly matched."

Sara: "No, Grandpa, if Abir brother hadn't come at the last moment, we would have won."

Azan: "But we didn't win, and if that's all, let's do it one more time."

Grandpa (softly to Azan): "Why do you want to lose? And why do you want to hear lifelong taunts unnecessarily... We have somehow managed to draw, but this time we will truly lose, so let's end this game here."

Jannat: "What are you two talking about?"

Grandpa: "N...nothing... we were just saying that we had a lot of fun playing today... right, Azan?"

Azan: "Yes, yes, that's exactly what we were discussing."

Seema: "Let's all go to sleep now, it's very late."

Everyone went to their respective rooms to sleep. When Jannat went to the kitchen to make Maggi for Sara, Abir was already there, having come for water. Seeing Jannat, Abir started humming a song loudly.

Abir: "Let's see who has how much strength, keep your steps firm with me, partner, we have moved ahead, they are left behind, we have gone up, they have gone down, you can never stop us, never break us down, because I have you beside me, let's see who has how much strength, keep your steps firm with me, partner..."

Jannat (cutting tomatoes ruthlessly with a knife): "Don't glare at walking electricity, go down the narrow lane, don't come in front, I will burn you in a moment, dam dama dam, I will turn you into ashes, dam dama dam, my heart is filled with a storm..."

Abir, who was drinking water, started coughing loudly after hearing Jannat's song... and after some time, went to his room. The very next morning, everyone was busy with chores, and when Jannat woke up, Sara had already gone out somewhere since morning. Everyone sat down for breakfast. Sara and Azan were out somewhere, and Abir also came late for breakfast today. After breakfast, Seema, along with Ayaan and Aamir, went to pick up some of Jia's jewelry that had been left with the jewelers, and Grandpa was in the garden outside. After breakfast, as Jannat was clearing the table, Abir, with a smile, began to hum again and passed by her.

Abir: "The one I was waiting for, for whom my heart was restless, that moment has arrived, has arrived, today we have to go to extremes in enmity, we have to kill you or die..."

After saying this, Abir went to his room.

Jannat (to herself): "I think they have really gone mad... whatever... anyway... we are not that free, we have a lot of work."

A little later, as Jannat was going towards her room, Abir, who was secretly watching her, smiled mischievously and sat on the sofa outside her room, waiting for Jannat's reaction......!!!

After a while, when no sound came from Jannat's room, Abir got up and put his ear outside her door.

Abeer (to himself): I hope she hasn't fainted due to shock?

Just then, Jannat's loud scream was heard, and she rushed out of her room, almost knocking Abir off balance. However, he entered the room. Jannat screamed and hugged Abir tightly without thinking, still screaming. Abir tried to calm her down but couldn't. He eventually placed his hand over her mouth to stop her screaming. Jannat had her eyes tightly closed and had just taken a shower, so her hair was wet and fell on her large eyes. Her pink lips were slightly trembling, which Abir felt with his hand. She looked very cute in her pink suit. Abir was distracted and forgot where he was and why he had come there. He just stared at Jannat, and for the first time, he was so close to her.

A little later, Jannat opened her eyes, looked at Abir, and quickly moved her hand away from her mouth. When Jannat looked behind her at the bed, she screamed again and hugged Abir.

Abeer: Please stop, or we'll surely go deaf if you keep screaming like this.

Jannat: There... there are cockroaches... on our bed, on our clothes...

Abeer (pretending to be unaware): What's going on there?

Jannat had placed some plastic cockroaches on her dress when she wasn't in her room. They looked real and had movable legs and stingers. When Jannat saw them, she screamed and ran out, colliding with Abir.

    Jannat: They're there... cockroaches.

Abeer: Cockroaches... but how did they get here?

Jannat (scared): I don't know, please remove them from our bed... help us.

Abeer (looking at Jannat): Sure, we'll do it, but let's enjoy this moment a bit longer, as moments like these don't often come in life.

Jannat (moving away from Abir and glaring): What do you mean?

Abeer: I mean that I like it...

    Jannat: What?

Abeer: This fear on your face.

    Jannat: You...

Abeer (pointing to the bed): Oh, it's flying... Jannat, don't look back... it might attack your face directly.

Jannat (scared and holding Abir's hand tightly): Please remove it, I'm scared of it.

Abeer: Alright, but why should we help you? You've never done anything good for us.

    Jannat (angrily): You...

Abeer (teasingly): Your voice seems too calm.

Jannat: God likes people who are always ready to help others and don't think of personal gain or loss.

Abeer: Do you really know all this in detail? Your actions don't seem to reflect that.

Jannat (frustrated): Oh God! Do you have any emotions or...

Abeer (controlling his laughter and scaring Jannat): Jannat, Jannat, don't move, it's on your head.

Jannat (shocked and hyperventilating): What?... No... remove it, please...

Abeer: Alright, let's think about helping you or not...

Jannat (closing her eyes tightly): Please, please remove it, we'll never bother you again.

Abeer: Not like that, first say sorry and promise not to bother us again, as true Rajputs never break their promises.

    Jannat: We...

Just then, Sara arrived and saw Jannat holding Abir's hand.

Sara: Oh my God! Is this a dream or what? Two sworn enemies holding hands...

Jannat (releasing Abir's hand and holding Sara's): Sara, please help us... there's something on my head...

Sara: Wait, calm down... what happened to your head?

Jannat: There's a cockroach on my head.

    Sara: A cockroach?

    Jannat: Yes.

    Sara: But where?

Jannat: On my head... Abir just told me.

Abeer: Yes, look properly, it's right there.

    Sara: I don't see anything.

Abeer (pointing to Sara): Look up, can you see it now?

Sara (understanding Abir's joke): Abir brother...

Jannat: Sara, tell me honestly, is it on my head or around me?

    Sara shook her head.

Jannat: That means you've been making us crazy for no reason.

Abeer: One who is already crazy can't be made crazier... why Sara?

Jannat (angrily): You've been making us beg for no reason.

Jannat's anger made Abir move quickly towards her bed.

Abeer: We were joking, but not this time.

    Jannat: What do you mean?

Abeer (dramatically): When we throw this cockroach at you, it'll eat you slowly... drink your blood...

Jannat (terrified): You're... you're joking, right?

Abeer (laughing): Yes... (pausing) No, we're not joking.

Jannat: I don't want to talk to you, leave my room now.

Abeer (holding up the cockroach): Look, brother, we've forgotten something.

    Sara: What?

Abeer: We're busy until Ayan's engagement tonight, so please take care of our deposit...

    Jannat: What deposit?

Abeer (throwing the cockroach at Jannat): This.

    Abeer left laughing.

Sara and Jannat screamed at the sudden incident, and Jannat started brushing herself off. However, Sara soon realized it was a fake cockroach.

Sara (picking up the cockroach): Jannat...

Jannat (scared and closing her eyes): Please, please remove it, Sara.

    Sara: Jannat, it's fake.

    Jannat (opening her eyes): What?

Sara: Yes, it's a rubber cockroach.

Jannat (looking at the cockroach): That means he was just teasing us, and he did all this to scare us...

Sara (laughing): Yes, and you were scared of this fake cockroach.

Jannat (frustrated): I swear, Sara, I'll kill him one day.

Sara (laughing): I don't know if it's murder, but it seems like your story is going to be long.

Jannat: Long? What do you mean?

    Sara: Love and all.

Jannat: I think Abir's craziness is affecting you too, as you're talking such nonsense. First of all, I'm not interested in anyone else, and I wouldn't even think of having a relationship with him.

Sara: Alright, understood. And since it's my brother's engagement today, please don't mess up your mood.

    Jannat: Fine.

Sara: Not like that, with a smile.

    Jannat (smiling): Alright.

Sara (hitting her head): Oh, I forgot to tell you... Mom just came back and called you downstairs.

Jannat: Alright, you go, we'll be right there.

    Sara: Alright, but hurry up.

    Jannat: Yes.

Sara left, and Jannat thought to herself...

Jannat (to herself): How happy I was, and then he ruined everything... No matter, you've ruined my day, and I'll ruin your entire evening... just wait...

Jannat's family couldn't attend due to some urgent work, which made Jannat a bit sad. However, she was happy to meet her chacha, chachi, brother, and especially Sara after so many days. They got ready to leave for the evening, with Jannat still not having come downstairs.

When Jannat quickly came downstairs in a purple long dress with her curly hair and casual makeup, Abir couldn't help but stare at her. Her mole above her lips seemed to be made just to take his attention. As she rushed downstairs, her dupatta got stuck in a flower garland.

Abir was distracted and forgot where he was and why he had come there. He just stared at Jannat, and for the first time, he was so close to her. Sara went to help Jannat.

Abeer looked handsome in his black blazer and white shirt. Just then, Azan came to him.

Azan: The way you're looking at Jannat, if she sees you, those eyes of hers will pull out your eyeballs with hot wires.

    Abeer: Are you scaring me?

Azan: No, I'm telling you the truth. You two always do this to each other... I don't know why.

Abeer (smiling): We know, but whenever we trouble Jannat, we feel so calm.

Azan: Honestly, I think Jannat is right; you are going crazy.

Abeer (laughing): Yes, maybe we want to be risk-takers.

Just then, Jannat and Sara arrived, and the four of them left for the venue. Abir was driving, and Azan sat beside him, while Sara and Jannat sat in the back.

Sara (on the way): How do we look, Azan brother and Abir brother?

Azan: Your face looks changed... you look the same, just with a pale face.

Abeer (looking at Azan): Azan, you look lovely, like a princess.

Sara (smiling): Thanks, Abir brother... and how does Jannat look?

Abeer: Anyone who does makeup for hours will look decent.

Jannat: At least you look decent, but you don't even look decent... Khadus.

    Abeer: Thanks for the compliment.

    Jannat (smiling angrily): Not welcome.

Sara: Abir brother, Jannat prepared in a rush and got late.

Abeer: When I saw her, I thought she looked lovely.

    Jannat: And then?

Abeer: But then common sense took over.

    Jannat: And then?

Abeer: If someone's tongue isn't decent.

Jannat: You mean my tongue isn't decent?

Abeer (smiling): A hint is enough for a wise person.

    Jannat: You...

Azan (interrupting): Jannat, relax. Brother's engagement is today; let's not quarrel.

Jannat: Tell him not to quarrel.

    Abeer: Okay, I got scared.

Jannat (smiling): Now I will terrify you.

Abeer (confused): What do you mean?

    Jannat (smiling): You'll find out.

Azan: Don't tell me, Jannat; you aren't planning something on brother's engagement?

Jannat: No, nothing. I'll just give Abir a return gift.

Azan (in his mind): Abir, you will face it now; I warned you.

Sara: You both can't do without exchanging revenge; just keep taking revenge.

Abeer (in his mind): Oh God! What has she done? I thought I wouldn't get time to plan a revenge; she has already planned one.

Jannat (smiling mischievously): You can't think like that; you have to see it to believe it.

Abeer (driving): Yes, watch; we are almost there.

    Azan: Be ready.

As they arrived, Jannat teased Abir by saying something.

After a while, everyone reached the venue. Often, in the Muslim community, the groom and bride do not exchange rings during their engagement; instead, a senior family member performs the ritual on their behalf. Although times have changed, and different families have their own customs. Ayan and Zia had both attended their engagement and gone to the same venue but were in separate areas and had not seen each other face-to-face. Today, everyone was very happy. After a while, Jannat and Abir's car also arrived at the venue. Upon Jannat's arrival, Sahar came over to her and Sara.

Sahar: "Where were you people? We've been waiting for you for so long?"

Jannat: "We got delayed due to traffic."

Sahar: "Okay... (gesturing towards Abir) Jannat, is this Abir, whom you told us about on the phone?"

Jannat: (glowering at Abir) "Yes, this is the person who has come to trouble us."

Sahar: "I don't know about the trouble, but he's certainly handsome, like a hero."

Sara: "Isn't he, Abir Bhai is very handsome, isn't he? We always tell Jannat this."

    Sahar: "Yes, that's true."

Jannat: "If you both are going to praise him, then do it; we're leaving from here."

Sara: "No, we're also coming with you."

    Sahar: "Yes."

About half an hour had passed, but nothing had happened with Abir yet, and he was being very cautious after Jannat's threat. Meanwhile, since Jannat arrived, Rihan had been hovering around her for some reason, and Jannat understood his intentions and was getting irritated. After some time, everyone sat down for breakfast. One side of the table had the elders, and nearby, Ayan's sisters and other relatives were sitting with him, feeding him and making him nervous. A bit away, Azan and Abir were sitting with Jannat, Sara, and Sahar, laughing at Ayan's condition.

Azan: "Look at Ayan Bhai's face; it seems like someone has pointed a gun at his head."

Abir: (laughing) "Really... if this is his condition now, then who knows what it will be like after marriage... we are sure that Ayan Bhai's wife, Zia Bhabi, will be the one in charge because his expressions tell the story of his future."

Azan: (laughing) "Yes, you're absolutely right."

Jannat: "It's better to go and sit with Ayan Bhai than to talk about him here."

Abir: "Why should we go? They're his party people; let them handle him."

Jannat: (smiling) "Yes, that's right... look, your party people have also arrived."

Abir, who was taking a sip of his cold drink, turned around when he heard Jannat's words, and as he saw the colorful, decorated Bulbul approaching, his cold drink spilled out of his mouth. It was a good thing that his mouth was turned away from the table; otherwise, the cold drink would have directly landed on Azan's face.

Azan: (suppressing his laughter) "You invited Bulbul and didn't tell us... I mean, things have come to this point that we can't even spend a day without you."

Abir: "Shut up, Azan... and do you think we're crazy enough to invite her here to ruin our peace and calm?"

Bulbul: (coming to Abir) "Hello Abir... how are you?"

Abir: (irritated) "We're fine, aren't we?"

Bulbul: "Why are you talking to us like that?"

Abir: "Thankfully, we're even talking to you... now, let's drop it and tell us why you're here."

Bulbul: "We didn't come here to play; obviously, we're here to attend Ayan Bhai's engagement."

Abir: "Wow, good that you told us; otherwise, we wouldn't have known you were here for Ayan Bhai's engagement."

Bulbul: (laughing) "No need, Abir Ji; it's not necessary for everyone to know everything."

Abir: "Shut up and tell us who invited you here."

    Jannat: "We invited Bulbul Ji."

Abir: (looking at Jannat) "We expected as much from you, but may we know the reason behind this favor?"

Jannat: "We thought today was your last day together, and you were busy, so we decided to invite her here so you could spend some quality time together, and your favors on us are not few; that's why."

Abir: (teasing Jannat) "So sweet of you... that's the lovely surprise... you really care about us."

Jannat: "Yes, absolutely, and we hope you liked the surprise."

Abir: (glaring at Jannat) "The surprise is not the issue, but your favors are increasing day by day, and we're starting to think that we should repay them with interest."

Jannat: (smiling) "Try, but you'll fail like always."

    Abir: "We'll see."

Bulbul: "Abir Ji, introduce us to your family, okay?"

Abir: (with a fake smile) "And what makes you think we'd do that?"

Bulbul: (blushing) "In case we get married and come to your house someday; at least we'll know our in-laws."

Abir: (with a frustrated smile) "We'll kill ourselves before that."

Everyone tries to suppress their laughter. Abir starts talking to Sahar to avoid Bulbul.

Abir: "What do you do, Sahar?"

Sahar: "We're also pursuing our master's; it's our first year, just like Jannat. We and Jannat graduated together."

    Abir: "Oh... nice."

    Sahar: "Thank you."

Abir: "Why didn't you take admission here?"

Sahar: "Mom and Dad didn't give us permission; we really wanted to stay with Jannat."

Abir: "But why didn't they give permission?"

Sahar: "Because they don't want us to go far, especially Baba Jan..."

Abir: (interrupting) "We understand; it's like that when someone is dear and good, no one wants to send them away... (looking at Jannat) and those who are a headache are often sent away."

When Jannat looks at Abir after hearing his words, Abir quickly looks away. The others try to suppress their laughter.

Sahar: (smiling) "It's not like that; actually, our parents didn't want to send us here because they think we're very incompetent and won't achieve much; while everyone has complete faith in Jannat that she'll do what she says."

Abir: (softly) "I don't know how they cope with this storm."

    Jannat: "Did you say something?"

Abir: (laughing) "No, nothing... we were just saying that your well-wishers are coming this way."

    Jannat: "What do you mean?"

Abir: "Look back and see for yourself."

Jannat looks back and sees Rihan coming towards her.

Jannat: (towards the sky) "Oh God!!! Why did you choose us for this?"

Rihan: (coming to Jannat) "Can we sit here?"

Jannat: "Isn't this a function at your cousin's house?"

    Rihan: "Yes."

Jannat: "Then sit wherever you want."

Azan: "Sit down, Rihan; Jannat just likes to joke."

Rihan: "No, we can't take Jannat Ji's words seriously."

Abir: (teasing Jannat) "Wow... we only do this for special people."

Rihan blushes and smiles, and Jannat gets even more annoyed.

Jannat: (to Abir) "It seems you've learned a lot about this from staying with Bulbul."

Abir: (smirking) "We don't know, but it seems you'll learn about it soon."

Jannat: (to Bulbul) "Bulbul Ji, why are you sitting quietly? You won't get another chance like this; talk to Abir Ji."

Abir: "No thanks; we don't need your advice."

Jannat: "And we're not interested in giving you advice; let's go, Sara and Sahar; we'll go meet Zia Bhabi."

Jannat, along with Sara and Sahar, gets up and leaves. Zia looked lovely in her sky-blue gown. The engagement ritual begins, and Ayan's and Zia's families exchange rings. Everyone is very happy. Some of Zia's cousins, including Rihan, had prepared performances for the engagement, including singing and playing the guitar. Rihan had arranged this to impress Jannat. When Zia's cousins were performing, Azan and Abir were sitting in front of Jannat, discussing the performance.

Azan: "This performance is quite something... we'll have a much better performance at our brother's wedding."

Abir: "You're right; these people can't even hold the guitar properly... a guitar is played in such a way that it makes the listeners fall in love with its tune... but this magic isn't in everyone's fingers."

Azan: "Yes, you're absolutely right... and we believe if you were in their place, it would have happened like that."

Abir: "Yes, but what can we do? We have to listen to this in a bind, and..."

Suddenly, Abir hears a familiar voice in his ear through the mic.

Jannat: "Hello everyone! Now that the bride's side has performed, it's not fair for the groom's side to lag behind. We heard that a great guitarist's fingers have such magic that it makes the listeners fall in love with the tune..."

Azan: "Why do we feel like Jannat's intentions aren't good? You just said that, didn't you?"

Abir: "It seems she's going to do something again."

Jannat: "So, on behalf of the groom's side, we're going to show a performance by someone who believes in themselves... please welcome Mr. Abir."

When Jannat makes this announcement, Abir, who was sitting with his elbow on the table, loses his balance, and he can't refuse to perform in front of everyone. However, Jannat didn't ask him or know if he could even play the guitar; she just announced it, and now everyone's eyes are fixed on Abir. Abir looks at Jannat and the stage with big, surprised eyes.

Jannat said to Abir, "Oh Abir ji, please come, don't be shy... and show everyone sitting here the magic of your fingers."

Poor Abir, what could he do but comply? He got up and went to the stage.

Abir went near Jannat and said softly, "You just announced without even knowing if we know how to play the guitar or not... you didn't even bother to find out if we..."

Jannat interrupted, "You are the one who loves to act like a know-it-all, so go ahead. When everyone hears that out-of-tune melody because of you and makes fun of you, perhaps then you will learn to be more sensible and won't mess with us."

Abir remained silent after hearing Jannat's words. A boy handed Abir a guitar and left. Jannat then moved to get off the stage. She walked towards Sara and Sahar to sit with them, and she was only halfway there when she heard the melody of Abir's guitar. Jannat turned back and looked, and she stood rooted to the spot, gazing intently at Abir playing the guitar on stage. And indeed, there was such magic in Abir's fingers that he could make people fall in love with his tunes, and his melody was such that it easily drew everyone's attention. At that moment, that's exactly what was going through Jannat's mind, and she couldn't deny it. Although Jannat was unaware of it, before coming to India, he had won guitar competitions multiple times in his college and state, and guitar and music were his hobbies. Everyone present at that moment was praising Abir profusely, and everyone's attention was solely focused on Abir. As soon as he sang two lines with his guitar melody, a loud cheer erupted throughout the hall, especially from the girls, in his praise. As Abir finished playing the guitar melody, everyone applauded him warmly. Jannat also came out of her reverie, and after thanking everyone, Abir came down from the stage.

Here, Maryam, a cousin of Jia, who had come from abroad, came to Abir and hugged him, praising his guitar playing and singing. Azan and the others present were surprised at how Abir had made fans in just a few minutes, especially beautiful and single girls. After this, Abir came towards Jannat.

Abir said, "Perhaps you didn't know, but for your kind information, we have been state champions in guitar."

Jannat glared at Abir with narrowed eyes.

Abir winked and said, "Thank you for increasing our fans."

Saying this, Abir walked towards Azan, and Jannat also went to Sara and Sahar, annoyed. After Abir's performance, everyone was praising him, and especially the girls present couldn't take their eyes off him. After this, everyone went for dinner. Jannat was already frustrated because of Abir, and on top of that, Rehan was hovering around her again. Jannat was eating with Sara, Sahar, Azan, and Abir when Rehan once again came to Jannat's table under the pretext of offering sweets. To irritate Jannat further, Abir asked him to sit there, and Jannat glared at Abir angrily.

Abir said, "Oh Rehan, how long have you been serving only us... Please, join us and eat."

Rehan said, "Oh no, it's fine, we'll eat later."

Abir said, "Oh, you're unnecessarily being formal."

Rehan said, "No, it's not like that at all."

Abir said, "Then sit here with us... (looking at Jannat)... and if you sit here, everyone, including Jannat ji, will be very happy."

Jannat said angrily, looking at Abir, "Yes, no... I mean, Rehan ji must have many things to do, so it's okay, we'll sit together some other time."

Rehan quickly sat down next to Abir in front of Jannat and said, "No, no, nothing is more important than you."

    Jannat said, "Yes?"

Rehan said, "We mean, today you are all our guests, and we are your hosts, so how can anything be more important than you."

Abir said, "So sweet of you... Right, Jannat ji?"

Jannat forced a smile and said, "Yes, truly."

Rehan asked, "Thank you... Jannat ji, haven't your parents come today?"

Jannat said, "Yes, no, they couldn't attend due to some important work."

Rehan said sadly, "Oh... our bad luck."

Jannat asked, "Yes... did you say something?"

Rehan said, "No, no, nothing at all."

Somehow, this time passed, and both Jannat and Abir were rid of Bulbul and Rehan. Everyone bid farewell to Jia's family and headed back home. Ayan and Jia's wedding was scheduled after Jia completed her studies, which was still a few months away. A day later, in the evening, Jannat's family was also returning to Lucknow, which made Jannat a bit sad.

Seema said, "Asad and Iqra, why don't you stay a bit longer? You just came the day before yesterday and are leaving today."

Jannat said, "Yes, Uncle and Aunty, why don't you stay for a few more days?"

Asad said, "Actually, we would have stayed, but Bhaijaan is alone in Lucknow, and all the work burden must be falling on him."

Iqra said, "Yes, and we will be back soon for Ayan's wedding."

Aamir said, "Okay, if that's the case, then you can leave now, but with the promise that you will stay at least a week before and a week after Ayan's wedding."

Asad smiled and said, "Yes, that's a firm commitment."

Iqra hugged Jannat and said, "Take care of yourself, and come back home soon."

    Jannat said, "Yes."

Asad placed his hand on Jannat's head and said, "Yes, the whole house feels so empty without you, and Baba and Bhaijaan miss you all the time."

Jannat said sadly, "I miss them a lot too, and they couldn't come to Ayan bhai's engagement, and I couldn't meet them either. I called Ahmed Sahib several times, but he didn't even pick up my calls, and I only spoke to Ammi Jaan."

Asad said, "Bhaijaan might be busy, but don't worry, don't be sad. We will definitely talk to your Bhaijaan once we get home."

    Jannat said, "Yes."

Aman hugged Jannat and said, "Aapi, please come back soon... I don't feel good without you."

Jannat said, "Yes, I will come soon."

Sahar hugged Jannat and said, "Take care of yourself, and call us every day."

Jannat said, "Yes, and you too."

After this, Jannat's family left, and Seema bid them farewell with sweets and many gifts. In the evening, Sara, Jannat, Azan, and Ayan were all sitting together, and everyone was teasing Ayan.

Jannat asked, "Ayan Bhaijaan, how did you like Jia Bhabhi?"

    Ayan smiled and said, "Good."

Azan asked, "Just good, or very good?"

    Ayan said, "Azan..."

Sara said, "Okay Bhaijaan, you must be very happy today... Today, the situation of 'sky above, earth below'..."

Ayan said, "No, it's nothing like that."

Jannat said, "Okay Bhaijaan, give us your phone."

    Just then, Abir also arrived.

    Ayan asked, "Why?"

Jannat extended her hand and said, "Give it."

Ayan handed over his phone and said, "Here."

Jannat added Jia's number to Ayan's phone and returned it, saying, "Here you go..."

Ayan asked, "What did you do on it?"

Jannat said, "We added Jiya Bhabhi's number, that's all."

Ayan said in surprise, "But why?"

Abir said, "Hey brother, this is 2020, not the 90s... Talk to Bhabhi, and understand each other until the wedding."

    Azan said, "Exactly."

    Ayan said, "But we..."

Jannat said, "No ifs or buts. Today, in conversation, I learned that Jiya Bhabhi's birthday is in two days, so I exchanged numbers with her. Now you will talk to her and wish her too."

Sara said, "Wow Jannat! You are amazing..."

Azan said, "That she is... By the way, your birthday is also coming up soon."

Jannat said, "Yes... but there's still time, and..."

Abir raised his eyebrows and said, "By the way, when is your birthday, Jannat ji?"

    Sara interrupted, "24th September..."

Abir said, "Oh wow... meaning, there's only a little time left..."

Jannat asked, "And why are you suddenly so interested in our birthday?"

Abir said with a mischievous smile, "Actually, you see, now you are our only enemy... so it's our duty to give you a special gift on your birthday, isn't it?"

Jannat said, "No thanks... we don't need any of your gifts."

Abir said with a mischievous smile, "How can that be... just you wait and see..."

    Jannat said, "You..."

Ayan interrupted, "Hey, enough! Don't you two start again."

Azan changed the topic and said, "Okay Jannat, how did you find Rehan?"

Jannat said, "Do you think Ayan Bhaijaan would like it if we spoke ill of or cursed Ayan Bhaijaan's in-laws in front of him?"

Azan laughed and said, "No, absolutely not."

After talking for a while, everyone went to sleep. Azan accompanied Abir to his room.

Azan asked Abir, "Abir, do you think after what you've decided to do this time..."

    Abir asked, "After that?"

Azan said, "After that, Jannat will genuinely kill you."

Abir laughed and said, "So... should we back down in fear? No, never... just watch our magic this time..."

Azan said, "May Allah have mercy on you, that's all we can say..."

Abir smiled and said, "Good night."

    Azan said, "Good night."

Time passed like this, and the banter between Abir and Jannat continued. Today, Jannat had most of her classes free, and even after the break, her class was free. Her other friends had classes at this time, and Jannat went to wait for her friend by the stairs of the football playground, where she often sat, to go home because Sara was not at college today due to some important work, and Jannat was alone. There was no one here at this time, and it was peaceful. At this moment, Jannat was sitting alone, lost in thoughts of herself and Zameen, when Rocky happened to come there looking for his friends, and seeing Jannat sitting alone, a mischievous smile appeared on his lips.

Rocky said, "Our good fortune, that we found you here."

Jannat looked at Rocky and said, "And obviously, our misfortune."

Rocky came closer to Jannat and said, "You know, I like attitude and ego, but only up to a point. And that day, you also behaved badly with me..."

Jannat stood up and said, "We didn't do anything that day that we wouldn't do now. If you even try to come near us again... I'll break your face... so it's better to stay away from us, and..."

Rocky grabbed Jannat's hand and said, "And what if you don't stay away?"

Jannat said angrily, "Let go of my hand, or else..."

Rocky gripped Jannat's hand tighter and said, "Or else what?... (to himself) Oh! I'm completely scared of Miss Jannat Rajput's threats, and..."

Jannat said, "Tada da da da da da ka ka ka..."

Before Rocky could even finish his sentence, Jannat slapped him hard—and when I say hard, I mean really hard—on the cheek, causing Rocky's head to turn to his right, and for a few seconds, both his cheek and ear buzzed, and Jannat's hand slipped from his grip. Rocky looked at Jannat, furious.

Jannat said with angry eyes, "If you come near us again without our permission, or touch us, we will burn you alive. And don't mistake this for just a threat, because Jannat Rajput does what she says... so, stay away."

Rocky touched his cheek and said, "How dare you! You raised your hand on me, on Rocky... What do you think of yourself? Today I'll show you what the consequence of raising your hand on me is."

As Rocky raised his hand to slap Jannat, Jannat caught his hand in the middle and twisted it, and Rocky quickly stepped back with a painful cry. And when he saw that it wasn't easy to defeat Jannat, he deceitfully struck Jannat's right hand with something sharp, causing blood to ooze from Jannat's hand. She raised her hand to hit Rocky again in anger, but this time Rocky took advantage of her injury, caught her hand in the middle, and pressed her injured spot tightly, causing more blood to ooze, but not a single sigh of pain escaped Jannat's lips. Although she was in a lot of pain at that moment, she had the skill to hide her pain. Jannat never liked to appear weak or show her emotions to people. She didn't like girls to be considered or called weak, and despite so much pain, she was looking directly into Rocky's eyes with anger, without any fear. When Rocky couldn't hear Jannat's pained voice, he found no solace, and it further hurt his ego. Therefore, Rocky raised his other hand to hit Jannat, but just then, suddenly, someone stopped his hand from the middle... who else but Abir.....!!

When Abir looked at Jannat's hand, a different expression came over his face. He quickly pulled Rocky's hand away from Jannat and tied his handkerchief on Jannat's hand.

Abir (to Jannat): "Are you alright?"

    Jannat: "Yes, we are fine."

Rocky: "Look Abir, don't get involved in this matter, and stay away from her. This girl has insulted me, she will have to pay for it."

Abir: "This is completely wrong... to raise a hand on a girl... very bad..."

Rocky: "Then fine, I'll raise my hand on you instead of the girl."

Saying this, Rocky punched Abir in the face. A little blood started coming out of Abir's mouth.

    Rocky: "Is that better?"

Abir smiled and looked at the blood on his lip with his finger. Then he punched Rocky so hard in the face that blood came out of Rocky's mouth and a tooth also broke and fell out. Jannat was stunned for a moment.

    Abir: "Now it's perfect!!!"

Rocky: "How dare you! To lay a hand on me?"

Abir: "This was just the trailer, little one... we haven't even started yet."

Rocky (angrily to Abir): "I'll deal with you."

Abir (pulling up his collar): "Anytime... people are always eager to see us anyway."

    Jannat smiled hearing Abir's words.

Rocky understood that he was alone and Abir and Jannat were too much for him. Groaning in pain, he ran away from there.

Abir: "What were you doing here alone?"

Jannat: "We were waiting for our friend to go home."

Abir: "Come with us, we are also going home."

Jannat: "No, we don't need your favor. We will go ourselves."

Abir (folding both his hands): "Okay, so what do you think about us saving you from Rocky just now?"

Jannat (folding her hands): "Well, we didn't ask for that, you just got involved. And even if you hadn't, we would have handled it, and we didn't need you, nor do we."

Abir (shaking his head): "Oh God!!!... What an ungrateful girl you are... I mean, do you have any sense at all?... We got beaten up... (pointing to his mouth) shed so much blood, and instead of thanking us... you are blaming us... (looking at the sky) Wow! Your people in this world are truly something, O Lord..."

Jannat (rolling her eyes): "Is that all, or is there more to your drama?🤨"

    Abir: "Drama 🥺????"

Jannat: "Clean this wound, it's bleeding."

Abir: "So do it, how else will we see this wound?"

Jannat: "How do we clean it... we don't even have our handkerchief today, and you gave us yours?"

    Abir: "Don't you watch movies?"

    Jannat: "Meaning?"

Abir: "Meaning, clean it with your dupatta, what else... like heroines do for heroes."

Jannat: "Ha ha ha ha... Very funny... this is neither a movie, nor do you look like a hero from anywhere, nor will we spoil our precious and favorite dupatta like this for no reason."

Abir: "So this dupatta is dearer to you than our blood?"

Jannat (blinking): "You said that absolutely correctly..."

Abir: "I have never seen a stone-hearted person like you in my entire life."

Jannat (looking around): "Thank you for the compliment....!!!! Okay, wait, you stay here, we'll be back in two minutes."

    Abir: "But where..."

Jannat left and after some time returned with a handkerchief and medicine in her hand.

Abir: "Where did you get this from?"

Jannat: "We always keep this in our locker for emergencies."

Then Jannat cleaned Abir's wound with the handkerchief. As soon as she applied the medicine, Abir screamed loudly.

    Abir: "Ouch... Mama!"

Jannat: "Be quiet... why are you screaming like a little child?"

Abir: "It hurts, so I'll scream."

Jannat: "Look, we don't have so much free time to waste it like this. And consider yourself lucky that we are helping you."

Abir (with a little annoyance): "This is too much! We don't want it... Firstly, it's burning so much, and on top of that, you are scolding us, and with an obligation too... we don't want any of your favors."

Jannat (after a moment of silence): "Okay, fine, we won't scream anymore, and we'll apply it calmly."

Jannat was calmly applying the medicine to Abir's wound, blowing on it with her finger. Abir was gazing at her beautiful face when he heard Jannat's voice.

    Jannat (softly): "Thank you."

Abir (in shock): "Oh my God!!... I'm really badly hurt... I just heard you thank me."

Jannat (loudly): "You heard it because we thanked you."

Abir (acting): "This day will be written in golden letters in history... Jannat Rajput... the great Jannat Rajput said thank you... Hahem..."

Jannat (shaking her head): "Here you go, your wound is cleaned."

Abir: "No thank you... because it was your duty."

Jannat: "You're not welcome, and anyway, we helped you because you helped us. Don't expect anything more from us."

Abir: "Okay, you also spoiled your handkerchief, so what was the harm in spoiling the dupatta?"

Jannat (putting her things in the bag): "Because we get irritated by these filmy things, and we just don't like it."

Abir: "Okay okay... Anyway, you always say things differently from the world, but why are you keeping this dirty handkerchief in your bag? You're not keeping it as a memento... (with a mischievous smile)... Hmm... Hmm... tell me... tell me."

Jannat (looking angrily at Abir): "Rocky just drew blood, but we will take out all thirty-two of your teeth if you say such silly things to us."

Abir (clearing his throat, a little scared): "No, no, we have no such intention... we were just asking why you are keeping it so carefully, because it doesn't look particularly expensive either."

Jannat: "The importance of anything is not measured by its price, but by emotions and love, and our emotions are attached to this handkerchief."

Jannat unfolded the handkerchief, on the corner of which were embroidered the letters J and J. Abir had noticed that Jannat had a fiery temper, but when she mentioned Jamin, her expression became completely different and tender.

Abir (thinking): "J and J... means... Jamin and Jannat... right?"

Jannat: "Yes. We made this together with Jamin, with our own hands."

Abir: "Oh... but then it would be as dear to you as everything else belonging to Jamin Ji... so why did you give it to us?"

Jannat: "Yes... because you needed it more at this time."

Abir: "If it were someone else in our place, would you have done the same... or did you only do this with us?"

Jannat (after thinking for a while): "Anyone would have been, we would have done the same."

Abir (becoming serious): "As much as I've gotten to know you, I think you love Jamin Ji a lot, but where is he... and why isn't he with you?"

Jannat (after a moment of silence): "It's getting late, I think we should go home."

    Abir: "But..."

Jannat (interrupting him with a sharp voice): "We said, let's go, so let's go."

    Jannat left.

Abir: "How long will you keep avoiding my questions, Miss Rajput, we'll see."

Jannat went home with Abir on his bike. A storm of questions from Abir was swirling in Jannat's mind. She sat alone in the garden, lost in thought, when Seema arrived.

Seema (placing her hand on Jannat's head): "What is it, Jannat, you seem sad today?"

Jannat (with a fake smile): "No, dear Phuphphu, there's nothing like that."

Seema (sitting next to Jannat): "You know, you've been like this since childhood, always an expert at hiding your emotions and feelings, but those who know you well understand your heart's condition perfectly, and we are among them... you are as special and important to us as Sarah, and perhaps even a little more."

Jannat (smiling): "We know, and you are just as special to us."

Seema: "So tell me, what were you thinking?"

Jannat: "Nothing, dear Phuphphu, just wondering what is written in our fate, in our future, and..."

Seema: "As much as I know you, you never worry about anything, except... Jamin."

Jannat: "We never worry about anything, not even about Jamin, because we know that with God's support, we have the courage and strength to change our future."

Seema (smiling): "That's true... but then what are you thinking?"

Jannat: "Just that what happened that it's taking Jamin so long to return... I hope he is well."

Seema: "You, Jannat... anyone else in your place would be thinking at this moment if their love had forgotten them, and here you are, worried about his well-being."

Jannat: "Yes, because we have complete faith in Jamin and our love, and we know that he will come back to us soon."

    Seema: "Inshallah."

Aamir called Seema from inside and she went in. Jannat went towards her room to wake up Sarah, who was asleep. There, outside her room, Jannat found Abir sitting on the sofa. She wanted to ignore him, but Abir called out to her.

    Abir: "Jannat... yes."

    Jannat (turning towards Abir): "Yes?"

Abir: "I need to talk to you about something."

Jannat: "Look, if you want to talk to us about the college topic regarding Jamin, then we..."

Abir (standing up and becoming serious): "No, no, we definitely want to talk about the college topic, but not about Jamin Ji, but about something else."

Jannat (inwardly): "What happened to him? He's behaving so seriously..."

    Abir: "What happened?"

Jannat: "No, nothing... tell me, what do you want to say?"

Abir (pointing to the sofa): "Please, sit here first..."

Jannat (sitting down): "Yes, tell me, what do you want to say."

Abir (sitting on the sofa and rubbing his hands): "I don't know where to start..."

Jannat: "Why are you so nervous... is everything okay? Because usually, you act like a tough guy, so what happened suddenly?"

Abir: "I don't know where to start..."

Jannat: "Okay, tell me when you figure it out. For now, we're leaving..."

Abir (stopping Jannat): "No, no, we'll tell you..."

Jannat (inwardly): "The wound was on his mouth, but it seems like it has affected his brain."

Abir (looking into Jannat's eyes): "Since we met, it's been nothing but fights and arguments between us..."

Jannat: "So?... So, you want to apologize to us?"

Abir: "Yes... in fact, even more than that."

Jannat (in surprise): "Are you feeling alright today... to be talking such nonsense?"

Abir: "We were the ones talking nonsense until now, but now we've come to our senses..."

    Jannat: "Meaning?"

Abir (sitting in front of Jannat): "We don't know when, how, or where, but we realized it today, when Rocky troubled you, and seeing you in trouble, we realized that we can never see you in pain, and now, between us, from our side, this bickering has turned into..."

    Jannat: "Into???"

Abir: "Love... Yes Jannat, we have fallen in love with you... I am in love with you..."

Jannat's eyes widened. She was completely shocked. Although it wasn't that Jannat hadn't been told such things before, she hadn't expected it from Abir. Jannat had always given a fitting reply to such people, but today, in front of Abir, no words were coming out of her mouth. Her face had lost its color, and her mind seemed numb. When Azan and Sara heard this, they were also stunned. They couldn't believe it...

Abir: "Yes Jannat, we have truly started liking your company, and we have fallen in love with you, true love..."

Jannat just stared at Abir with wide, shocked eyes, her mind trying to comprehend Abir's words.....!!
