    Delhi city, 12 AM.

A boy was driving a car. Loud music was playing in the car. He stopped the car in front of a house. On which it was written in beautiful letters, "Obroi Mansion".

Mahir Obroi, age 26 years, height 6.2 inches, fair complexion, sharp features, brown eyes, a cut on his left eyebrow which gave him a dashing look.

Mahir's hair was messy. He reached the door of the house with unsteady steps and opened the door with the master key.

In the hall sat a woman of 48 years. Wheatish complexion, height 5.7 inches. This was Kaushalya Obroi, Mahir Obroi's stepmother.

Seeing Mahir, Kaushalya said, "So, finished sir, time to come home?"

Mahir said with a laugh, "Oh, oh... Kaushalya ji... Ah... why did you trouble yourself to stay awake? Go... go... it's very late. Your husband is waiting for you."

Just then, a stern voice came, "Mahir! What way is this to talk? She is your Mom."

This was Tushar Obroi, Mahir's father. Fair complexion, 6.1 inches height, brown eyes.

Mahir started laughing upon hearing Tushar ji's words. He moved forward and stumbled a bit. Tushar ji and Kaushalya ji quickly took a step each towards Mahir.

Mahir waved his hands at them and said, "I am fine. I am fine!"

Then, looking at Tushar, he said, "Tushar Obroi... you should keep your wife away from my sight. So that I don't misbehave with her. And right now I am very sleepy. So please. Good night."

Having said this, Mahir stumbled upstairs to his room. Kaushalya kept looking at him.

With her eyes moist, she looked in the direction Mahir had gone and said, "I couldn't become a good mother."

Then Tushar placed his hands on her shoulders and said, "It's not like that, Kaushalya. Mahir has been like this since childhood. He doesn't hate you. He respects you too. He just doesn't know how to express love."

Kaushalya said, "He doesn't know how to express love... because no one taught him. And that is our biggest mistake."

And the two of them went to their room. Mahir lay on his bed, hiding his face, muttering, "No one can understand me. No one!"

    Next Morning

    Bharadwaj Mansion

    Kaushalya, son of Dasharath

    Chandan adorns Ram's forehead.

    Lakshman chants victory of Raghupati

Let Ram and Siya be welcomed.

A sweet voice echoed throughout the hall of the mansion. A small, beautiful temple where idols of Ram ji, Sita ji and Lakshman ji were kept. The entire temple was gleaming with lights. A girl wearing a white salwar kameez stood in front of the temple.

This was Parul Bharadwaj, the elder daughter of the Bharadwaj house. Fair complexion, big black eyes, with long lashes, round face, dimples on both cheeks with a smile enhanced her beauty. Long, waist-length black hair, 5.6 inches height.

Near Parul stood her younger sister Dhruvika with folded hands. Beside her was their brother Abhinav. Behind them were Supriya Bharadwaj and her husband Navdeep Bharadwaj. This was the Bharadwaj family.

Mahir got ready in the morning and left Obroi Mansion. Everyone gathered at the dining table for breakfast.

Kabir Obroi (age 21 years, fair complexion, black eyes, 6.1 inches height)

Priyanka Obroi (age 19 years, round face, curly hair, fair complexion, black eyes, height 5.3 inches)

These two are Mahir's younger siblings. Everyone was having breakfast.

Priyanka said, "Mom, did brother skip breakfast again today?"

Kaushalya ji shook her head no. Which made Priyanka aka Pari's face fall. Kabir was lost in his own thoughts.

Tushar ji said, "Kabir, what happened?"

Kabir stammered and said, "N-nothing. Were you guys talking about something?"

Pari said, "Yes brother, he left without breakfast. And he didn't have dinner with us last night either."

Tushar said, "Don't worry, I'll call Vivek, he'll make him eat, okay."

    (Vivek Saxena... Mahir's best friend)

Kabir and Pari left for their college. Kabir was in his final year and Pari in her first year.

    Mahir's Office

Vivek entered Mahir's cabin playing City. In Mahir's cabin were Mahir's personal assistant Ram and Mahir's most trusted bodyguard Raghav.

Seeing Mahir, Vivek said, "You haven't had breakfast again today."

Mahir said nonchalantly, "No, I'll have lunch directly."

Vivek said irritably, "Even a newlywed bride doesn't throw as many tantrums as my friend does."

Mahir glanced at Vivek and said, "Enough nonsense."

Vivek said, "Oh man, I brought a tiffin for you with so much love."

Mahir said, "Even a newlywed bride doesn't worry about her husband this much."

Vivek said, "Yes, yes, I know. You have a better sense of humor than me. You can shatter my dialogues. But the stomach will be filled by eating, not by sense of humor. So don't throw too many tantrums."

Mahir gives a small smile and then they both have breakfast.

Mahir's assistant Ram hesitantly said, "S-Sir... that Kabir Sir..."

Mahir glanced at Ram and said angrily, "Should I get an auspicious time for you to speak further?"

Ram said, "No sir... I am sorry. I told you, right, Kabir sir went somewhere after college. So he went to meet his girlfriend."

Mahir said in a calm tone, "So what's the problem with that?"

Ram, gathering all his courage, said, "Sir, that girl is pregnant and Kabir sir cannot marry her right now, so that girl attempted suicide."

Hearing this, anger flashed across Mahir's face.

He said to Ram, "Information about that girl?"

"Sir, her name is Dhruvika Bharadwaj. She is studying in her second year at Kabir sir's college," Ram said.

Mahir nods in agreement, thinking something. Ram leaves the cabin.

Vivek said nervously, "What will you do now?"

    Mahir said, "Her marriage."

    It was evening.

    "Oberoi Mansion"

Mahir had returned home that evening. Priyanka was very happy.

"Brother! Come on, let's watch a movie together."

"It's been so many days, spend some time with us, brother..."

Mahir said, "Pari! Where is Kabir?"

Kaushalya ji, coming from the kitchen, said, "Son, why are you so angry? Kabir is in his room."

Mahir loudly called out to Kabir, "Kabir... come down..."

After a while, Kabir slowly started coming down the stairs.

Kabir's eyes were slightly red, as if he had just finished crying.

As soon as Kabir arrived, Mahir slapped him on the cheek.

Tushar ji, coming from his room, said,

    "Are you crazy, Mahir!"

"You raised your hand on your young brother..."

As soon as he was slapped, Kabir started crying and then hugged Mahir.

Seeing this, Tushar, Pari, and Kaushalya ji's eyes widened in surprise.

Kabir, hugging Mahir, said while crying,

    "Brother, I am sorry."

"I made a very big mistake."

Mahir still hadn't put his hands on Kabir's back.

Mahir said in a stern voice, "You made a mistake, and instead of correcting it, you are here hiding and crying."

As Kabir pulled away from Mahir, he looked at him with confusion.

Kaushalya ji said, "Will someone tell us what happened?"

Tushar ji also said, "Yes son, what mistake did Kabir make, and why was he crying in hiding?"

Mahir said, looking at Tushar ji, "Mr. Tushar Oberoi ji, if you would step away from your business for a bit and pay attention to your darling son, you would definitely know what Kabir has done."

"Pari asked impatiently, "But what happened, brother?"

Mahir said to Kabir, "You yourself will tell what you did..."

    Kabir lowered his gaze.

Kaushalya ji said, "What is the matter after all?"

"Mrs. Oberoi, your darling son is determined to ruin a girl's life."

"First, he made promises of lifelong companionship with that girl."

"Now, when she needs him, he has left her to die alone."

"Kabir Oberoi, do you know that girl has tried to commit suicide twice?"

Kabir nodded in affirmation and said,

"Sorry brother... I told her that this all happened in childhood... we should erase its existence... but she became stubborn..."

Kaushalya ji, "What are you both talking about? Which girl? How can Kabir ruin her life...?"

Kabir said with a choked voice, "She... she... is pregnant."

"I told her to get an abortion, but..."

Before Kabir could say anything further, Kaushalya ji slapped him on the cheek.

"How can you even think of that? A mother would kill her child."

"You don't care that it's your child. What kind of father are you? You want to kill that little life before it even comes into the world."

    Bharadwaj Mansion...

Dhruvika had locked herself in the room.

Parul was banging on the door.

"Dhruvi, open the door. What happened?"

You won't tell your elder sister.

Just then, Navdeep ji's voice came,

"What is this childishness, Dhruvi dear... why have you locked yourself in like this...?"

Hearing her father's voice, Dhruvi opened the door.

Her eyes were red and swollen from crying.

    Parul hugged Dhruvika and said,

"What happened, child? Why did you lock yourself in? We were so worried."

Supriya ji came to Dhruvika and caressed her head, saying,

"Child, what is the trouble? If you don't tell us, whom will you tell..."

    Dhruvika said, crying,

    "Sister... he... we are pregnant..."

Hearing this, Parul's grip on Dhruvika loosened.

Supriya ji held Dhruvika's shoulders and said,

"This... what are you saying...! Have you gone mad..."

Dhruvika said, crying, "No, Mother, we are telling the truth. This is the truth. Forgive us..."

Just then, Parul's attention went to Navdeep ji, who was feeling dizzy.

Parul rushed to him, "Papa! Papa! What happened to you..."

Dhruvika and Parul held Navdeep ji by the shoulders and made him sit on the sofa.

Supriya ji brought water from the kitchen.

"Papa, take care of yourself." Navdeep ji drank the water and looked at Dhruvika with tear-filled eyes. Dhruvika's gaze was lowered.

    Navdeep ji said,

    "Who is that boy?"

Dhruvika said with lowered eyes, "He studies in our college."

    "So, will he marry you?"

Dhruvika shook her head in negation, and tears started flowing.

Navdeep ji said, "You have left no stone unturned in tarnishing the reputation we have built over years."

"How will we show our faces to society? You didn't even think about your father once..."

Dhruvika couldn't understand anything. She just kept crying. Supriya ji sat next to Navdeep ji and said, "It has happened now. It can't be fixed by scolding her. Our mistake is more, we gave her too much freedom."

"But dear, we are not so modern yet that we can raise your child without marriage."

Parul hugged Dhruvika and stroked her head.

Navdeep ji said, "Who will marry you now? Who will marry your elder sister? When society finds out about the younger daughter's deeds, who will marry them?"

Just then, a voice came from the door,

"Whoever made the mistake will correct this mistake!"

    Parul looked forward.

    A six-foot-tall, fair-skinned boy was standing there.

Parul angrily went up to him, grabbed his collar, and said,

"So you are the one who ruined my sister's life..."

Mahir angrily made Parul release his collar and said, "Your sister is not that young. She has understanding."

    Parul angrily slapped Mahir.

    Mahir clenched his fists.

    Dhruvika's voice came,

    "Sister...! It's not him!"

Now Parul's eyes widened in surprise.

What will be the consequence of this slap?

Will Dhruvika and Kabir get married?

    Keep reading to find out.

    Up until now.....

"Who will marry your elder sister? When society finds out about the younger daughter's actions, who will marry her?"

Just then, a voice came from the door, "The one who made the mistake will correct this mistake!"

Parul looked ahead. A six-foot-tall, fair-skinned, well-built young man was standing there.

Parul went to him angrily, grabbed his collar, and said, "So, you are the one who ruined my sister's life?"

Mahir angrily freed his collar from Parul and said, "Your sister is not that young. She understands."

    Parul angrily slapped Mahir.

    Mahir clenched his fists tightly.

Dhruvikka's voice came, "Didi...! It's not him!"

Now Parul's eyes widened in surprise.

    Now onwards...

Meanwhile, Mahir's eyes turned red with anger. Mahir calmed himself and said, "Tomorrow morning, my family will come to your house with a proposal, with full respect."

Then Mahir glared at Parul with anger and left the house the very next moment.

As soon as Mahir left, Abhinav entered the house. "Didi, why did Mahir Oberoi come to our house?"

"Didu, you know working in his company is my dream job."

Hearing Abhinav's words, Navdeep also remembered Mahir's face.

Parul told Abhinav everything. Abhinav also looked helplessly at Dhruvikka, who was still crying.

    The next day...

It was the morning aarti at Bharadwaj House, which Parul was singing.

Just then, the doorbell rang. When Abhinav opened the door, the entire Oberoi family was standing there. Abhinav moved aside from the door.

When Kaushalya and Tushar heard the sound of the aarti, they were captivated. Parul's voice was very sweet.

After a while, Parul finished the aarti and started distributing it to everyone. When she saw unfamiliar faces behind, she was a little surprised, but then seeing Mahir standing separately, she understood everything that these people had come to talk about Dhruvikka's proposal.

Kabir glanced at Dhruvikka with furtive eyes, who was completely ignoring him. And why wouldn't she, after what Kabir had told her about the abortion...

Supriya ji asked everyone to sit on the sofa and went into the kitchen.

Navdeep ji was glaring at Kabir from top to bottom with eyes full of anger. Then, looking at Tushar ji, he said, "We are not as rich as you, but we also have a reputation in society, which allows us to face society with our heads held high. But this doesn't mean we will let the child we raised with love live a life of hell. If you have brought your prince here by force to cover up his mistake, then you can leave now, because our daughter is not a burden on us at all. We don't want her to suffer her whole life after marriage and curse us for sacrificing her happiness to save our honor."

A moment of silence spread through the hall after Navdeep ji's words.

Tushar ji and Kaushalya ji looked at each other, and then at Kabir!

Kabir looked at Navdeep ji and hesitantly said, "Uncle... perhaps my mistake is so big that the word 'forgiveness' will seem too small. But I love your daughter very much. I will keep her happy for a lifetime, and perhaps your daughter will also be happy with me. We have promised and sworn to be together for a lifetime. And then Kabir knelt before Navdeep ji and said with folded hands, "I know how bad you must have felt learning this, but I was happier than sad when I found out I would have someone to call 'Papa' in this world. But to save your and my family's honor, I asked your daughter for an abortion. I was afraid my family might reject our relationship. If possible, please forgive me."

Tushar ji said, "We will keep your daughter like our own daughter. We will never let her feel any lack of anything!"

Kaushalya ji, agreeing with Tushar ji, said, "Yes, brother...!! Your daughter's happiness will never diminish."

Kabir was still sitting with his head bowed before Navdeep ji.

Navdeep ji held Kabir by the shoulders and said, "Go ahead, I'll give you a chance! To rectify your mistake!"

As soon as Supriya ji heard Navdeep ji's 'yes', tears welled up in her eyes with joy. After all, what mother wouldn't want her daughter to marry where she would be treated as a daughter, not just a daughter-in-law.

Supriya ji brought some snacks and coffee from the kitchen and started serving everyone, and Parul helped her. Everyone started drinking coffee.

Then Supriya ji hesitantly asked Navdeep ji, "One minute, can you come aside for a moment?"

Navdeep ji nodded in agreement and moved aside.

Supriya ji said, "How can we marry off the younger daughter first? We should talk to Parul once. Then we will get both of them married together."

Navdeep ji nodded in agreement and said, "Hmm, you are right. We will talk once."

Navdeep ji said to Tushar ji, "We have no objection to the proposal." Hearing this, happiness clearly shone on Kabir's face. Kaushalya ji also became happy.

Navdeep ji continued, "But there is one problem."

Hearing this, everyone looked at Navdeep ji in surprise. Mahir thought the proposal was finalized, so he would go to the office. But hearing Navdeep ji's last line, he also became a little confused.

Navdeep ji further said, "We cannot marry the younger daughter before the elder daughter."

Hearing this, Tushar ji's attention also turned towards Mahir. How could he marry off his younger son before his elder son?

"Yes, yes brother... take as much time as you need... we also will not marry off our younger son before our elder son."

Supriya ji intervened, "So, shall we get Mahir and Parul married? Your problem will be solved, and ours too..."

What will happen next? Will Mahir and Parul agree to the marriage? Keep reading to find out.

    Until now…

Navdeep further said, "We cannot marry off the younger daughter before the elder daughter."

Hearing this, Tushar ji's attention also turned towards Mahir.

How could they marry off their younger son before their elder son remained unmarried?

"Yes, yes brother, take as much time as you need. We also don't want to marry off our younger son before our elder son."

Supriya ji intervened, "So, should we get Mahir and Parul married? Your problem will be solved, and so will ours."

Supriya ji said this because Mahir seemed very sensible to her. Since arriving, Mahir hadn't contradicted his family even once and had been agreeing with everything. And yesterday, Mahir was the first one to arrive. It meant that this alliance was happening, at least in some way, because of Mahir.

Hearing Supriya ji’s words, Parul and Mahir were as if jolted. Mahir was already so troubled, and now another new problem! Mahir then looked at Parul. As soon as he saw her, he started getting angry because yesterday Parul had raised her hand at Mahir, which had deeply hurt Mahir's male ego.

For a moment, Mahir thought, why not marry her and then immediately divorce her, so that his revenge would be complete and Kabir's marriage would also be fixed. But then he shook off his thoughts himself. He couldn't ruin a girl's life over a slap.

Tushar ji and Kaushalya ji exchanged a glance and said, "We will talk to Mahir tomorrow. We should leave now."

Navdeep ji and Supriya ji also escorted them to the main door with smiles.

After they left, Supriya ji sat Parul near her and gently caressed her head, saying, "Beta, do you have any objection to marrying Mahir Obrai?"

Parul replied, "No, Mother. We will do as you and Father wish. You will always think good for us."

Supriya ji was very happy to hear Parul's assent.

    Obrai Mansion…

Mahir was sitting on the sofa. Tushar ji and Kaushalya ji were sitting opposite him, and Pari was standing beside them. Kabir was in his room.

Tushar ji took a deep breath and said, "Look, son, we liked that girl very much. But there is no pressure on you. If there is someone already in your life, you can introduce us to them. And if there is no one, and you don't like Navdeep ji's elder daughter, then find a girl for yourself in the next two days."

Having said this, Tushar ji started to go to his room.

Mahir said, "Mr. Tushar Obrai, a girl is not something that is sold in the market that I will like and bring in two days. And on what right are you giving me this two-day timeline? Mahir Obrai's life decisions can only be made by Mahir Obrai."

Tushar ji said with some anger, "I am speaking as a father. You will have to get married sometime, otherwise..."

Tushar ji stopped mid-sentence. Mahir then said with a laugh, "Otherwise, will you disown me from the property?"

Kaushalya ji interrupted him, saying, "Mahir, son, how are you talking to your father?"

Mahir replied, "Exactly as I should. Take care of your husband; he has turned red with anger."

Saying this, Mahir went into the study room. Tushar ji and Kaushalya ji could only watch him with teary eyes. Pari was already so scared of Mahir that she didn't dare to say anything.

Mahir came into the study room and slammed the door shut with a jolt, which indicated his anger to Tushar ji, Kaushalya ji, and Pari standing in the hall. Pari, the very next second, ran into her room.

Pari closed the door upon entering the room and, with her hand on her chest, took deep breaths, saying, "Oh God, what a dangerous brother you have given me! His anger is always right under his nose. What if I become a victim of his anger someday!"

    Study Room…

Mahir called his personal assistant Ram.

    Ram: "Yes sir."

Mahir: "I need information about Dhruvikaa's elder sister, from her childhood until now. Understood?"

Ram: "Yes sir. I will email it to you in the next fifteen minutes."

    Bhardwaj House…

Parul was lying on her stomach on her bed in her room, swinging her legs, making her anklets jingle. Parul was lost in thoughts of Mahir. Mahir's quiet demeanor was bothering her, but she absolutely did not want to disobey her parents. And somewhere, the charm of Mahir had also worked on her. Mahir's personality was very attractive. His picture was often on the cover of business magazines. When Mahir had come for the first time, Parul had lost her temper without looking at him properly. Otherwise, she too was a student of Business Management, and Mahir was like an ideal for her.

Dhruvikaa was sitting on a swing on her room's balcony, looking at the sky with vacant eyes. There was a slight moisture in her eyes. Somewhere, she was happy that her marriage was now to Kabir, but every single word of Kabir had struck her heart, due to which she had taken a step like suicide. Unwillingly, Dhruvikaa was remembering all of it.

Dhruvikaa's phone had been ringing for a long time. Kabir was calling her. Dhruvikaa just kept staring at the flashing name. She could neither pick up the phone nor disconnect it.

Kabir was pacing back and forth in his room, calling Dhruvikaa.

    "Please pick up the call."

These were the few words Kabir was mumbling.

Exhausted, Kabir threw the phone onto the sofa and restlessly pushed his hair back with both hands. Then, taking a deep breath, he said, "Hmm… Madam is angry! Don't worry, I will appease her very soon. Wait and watch. My future wife ❤️"

Will Mahir agree to the marriage? Will Kabir and Dhruvikaa's anger subside? Keep reading to find out.

Until now, Kabir had been pacing around his room, calling Dhruvika.

    "Please pick up the call,"

These were the few words Kabir muttered. Exhausted, Kabir threw his phone on the sofa and restlessly pushed his hair back with both hands. Then, taking a deep breath, he said,

    "Hmm... Madam is angry!"

"Don't worry, I'll convince her very soon. Wait and watch. My future wifey ❤️"

    Now, further...

Mahir had received Ram's email. Mahir was reading every detail with great attention.

    ... Name... Parul Bhardwaj...

    Age.... 23 years...

... Completed studies in Business Management last year...

    .... University Topper...

    .... Status... Single...

As Mahir was reading the details, the study room door opened and Vivek entered. Mahir glanced at Vivek, ignored him, and started reading Parul's biodata again. Vivek, closing his laptop, said,

"Chhamakchhalo, I heard... your marriage is being fixed."

Mahir, twirling the paperweight on the table, said,

"Mr. and Mrs. Oberoi have sent you... to flatter me... so that I agree to this marriage."

Vivek became a little serious and said,

"They want all this for your good... so that your home is settled... you've been betrayed in love once anyway... who knows if this arranged marriage turns out to be successful... and it's for your own good too."

Mahir raised an eyebrow and said, "My good? What do you mean...?"

Vivek chuckled and said, "I mean... your troubles with lizards like Samaira will end."

As soon as Mahir heard Samaira's name, he gave Vivek an irritated look and said,

"Oh, please, man! My mood is already bad, don't worsen it."

Vivek said, "Anyway, forget it... what did you decide?" Mahir thought for a moment and said,

"Hmm... I've decided to have a meeting with Parul Bhardwaj... in which I will try to gauge her loyalty, character, thinking... everything... and that meeting will be this evening... at your cafe."

Vivek excitedly hugged Mahir and said,

    "That's my Chhamakchhalo's talk!"

And then he gave Mahir a small kiss on the cheek. Mahir exclaimed irritably,

"I'm not your Chhamiya! Shameless person! You kiss me anytime! Idiot!"

Mahir called Parul. As soon as the call was picked up, Parul's sweet voice came,

    "Hello..."

Mahir closed his eyes once and then, with full confidence in his voice, said,

    "Can we meet today?"

Parul didn't understand anything, so she said,

"I think you've dialed the wrong number."

Saying this, Parul hung up the call. After disconnecting the call, Parul said to herself,

"Who asks their girlfriend like this with so much arrogance? Anyway, what do I care? It's between him and his girlfriend."

When Mahir saw that she had hung up, he was extremely angry with Parul. He said irritably, "How dare she!"

"How dare she hang up on Mahir Oberoi's call! How dare she!"

Mahir took a deep breath to calm himself and said to himself,

"Okay, cool down. I have to have this meeting somehow today."

Mahir called again, and Parul said,

"Hey brother, I told you... wrong number..."

Mahir gritted his teeth and said in his mind,

    "Brother... My foot..."

Mahir said in a rather rude tone,

"Don't hang up the call... Listen to me first..."

Parul asked confusedly, "Who are you that I should listen to you?"

    "I am Mahir Oberoi."

Parul said in a completely normal tone, "Oh, okay... Mahir... O... B... Roy..."

As she said this, the phone started slipping from Parul's hand. She somehow caught the bouncing phone and stammered,

"Oh, it's you? Sorry, sorry... I thought..."

Mahir, gritting his teeth, said, "I'm 'brother', right? That's what you thought, Miss Bhardwaj?"

Parul, with a tearful face, said to herself,

"How foolish I am! My future husband... brother... Oh God!"

Parul was talking to herself slowly and had forgotten about the phone call. Mahir was listening to her rambling.

    Mahir spoke again,

"Oh, Madam, if you're done talking to yourself, can I speak about what I called for?"

Parul again said in a flustered tone, "Oh, sorry, sorry... please speak."

    Mahir replied,

"I want to meet you. Reach there at 5 PM. I'm sending you the address."

Parul said, "Okay... I'll be there."

Parul was feeling very nervous at the thought of meeting Mahir. Parul was trying on all her dresses and said to Dhruvika,

"Dhruvi... should I wear the pink suit or the yellow one?"

    Dhruvika smiled and said,

"My dear sister, whatever you wear automatically becomes beautiful... because you are beautiful... so don't think too much... otherwise, you'll be late."

    At 5 PM...

    Cafe... Real Star...

Mahir was sitting at a corner table, checking his watch.

    "Where has this girl gone?"

"Such a shameless fellow! No value for time."

A little later, Parul arrived at the cafe. Parul was wearing a black salwar suit, a white dupatta, and her hair was styled in a side braid. Overall, she looked extremely beautiful. She looked around for Mahir. As soon as she saw Mahir, her heartbeat increased, and she slowly approached Mahir's table, calming herself.

    Mahir said irritably,

"Walk a little slower... you would have reached this table by tomorrow."

Parul, with an innocent face, said,

"I'm only 8 minutes late... what's so rude about that?"

    Mahir said,

"Seriously! You take 8 minutes like that?"

Parul said nothing and lowered her gaze, sitting down. Mahir called the waiter and ordered coffee.

    "One black coffee... and..."

Then he looked at Parul, and Parul said,

    "Normal coffee..."

The waiter took the order and left. Parul said to herself, "They must have become bitter from drinking black coffee."

Mahir, seeing her fluctuating expressions, said,

"If you have something to say, say it to my face... stop muttering to yourself... anyway, forget it. Let's get straight to the point... why do you want to marry me?"

    What will be Parul's answer?

The waiter took the order and left.

Parul muttered to herself, "Drinking black coffee has made me bitter already..."

Seeing her changing expressions, Mahir said,

"If you have something to say, say it to my face."

    "Stop muttering to yourself."

"Come on, let it go, let's get straight to the point..."

"Why do you want to marry me?"

Hearing Mahir's question, Parul grumbled to herself, "What a strange person! Doesn't he know anything about the situation?"

Parul cleared her throat and said,

"I think I should have asked you this question because you called me here, not the other way around?"

    Mahir said, clenching his teeth,

    "Just set up..."

"My family wants me to marry you..."

"And that's because you said yes."

"Otherwise, they would never have forced me. If you had said earlier that you wanted to marry someone else and not me, none of this would have happened."

Then Mahir said, looking at her with suspicion,

"You don't think... by marrying Mahir Obroi, you'll live a life of luxury... enjoy my money?"

"You'll get to wear limited edition dresses, not discounted ones... you'll ride in a big car..."

"As Mrs. Mahir Obroi... aren't these the desires of you middle-class girls?"

    "Hmmm!"

Just then, the waiter brought the coffee and left after placing the mugs.

    Mahir spoke again,

    "Tell me the truth..."

"This is your plan, isn't it... say it!"

Parul was just staring at Mahir, or rather, glaring at him.

Seeing her reaction, Mahir, annoyed, said,

    "I asked you something."

    "Give me the answer."

"I don't have time to waste, and..."

    Parul said,

"Mr. Obroi, you have too much pride in your wealth..."

    "Be careful, it might backfire..."

"I have not an iota of interest in your money..."

"And as for agreeing to the marriage, I did it for my family's happiness..."

"They have already been shamed a lot. I don't want to hurt them further by going against them."

"If you don't want to marry me, tell your family without hesitation."

"Because I don't have the courage to see my father and mother disappointed because of my refusal."

"And if you're so afraid of losing your money, then I'll say it upfront..."

"Even if we get married, I won't spend your money at all."

Mahir listened intently to every word Parul said and observed her every move.

    Mahir exhaled deeply and said,

"Ok... drink your coffee, it's getting cold."

Parul and Mahir drank their coffee. By then, the waiter had brought the bill.

When Mahir reached out to take the bill, Parul had already taken it, paid for her coffee, and handed the bill to Mahir.

Mahir paid his bill and then asked Parul, "Did you come by auto or..."

    Parul interrupted Mahir,

    "Don't worry."

"I won't go in your expensive and big car. I've already booked a taxi. It will be here in the next 5 minutes."

Mahir said nothing and walked out of the cafe.

Parul stood outside waiting for the taxi, when Mahir said,

    "Come on, I'll drop you?"

Parul turned her face away from Mahir and said,

    "No thanks. I'll go myself."

"Don't want you to think I'm dirtying your expensive and big car... wouldn't its beauty be diminished by having a middle-class girl like me in it..."

Mahir didn't say much either and left.

After a while, the taxi arrived, and Parul went home.

    Obroi House...

Everyone was sitting in the hall, eagerly waiting for Mahir to arrive.

Mahir arrived home around 10 PM.

When Mahir entered, Vivek, Tushar ji, Kaushalya ji, Kabir, and Pari were all sitting on the sofa.

Mahir looked at everyone with suspicion, and Vivek broke the silence.

Seeing this, Mahir didn't take long to understand that Vivek must have told everyone that he had gone to meet Parul at the cafe today.

    Kaushalya ji said happily,

    "Son, did you like Parul?"

Vivek also said, "Yes, yes... speak quickly... all this" Vivek was speaking with great excitement.

Mahir took a deep breath and said,

"Yes... I met her... I am ready to marry her."

Hearing this, a big smile spread across everyone's faces.

Tushar ji said happily, "Kaushalya ji, give out sweets... both your sons will get married... two daughters-in-law will come into the house."

Kaushalya ji also said happily, "Yes, yes, why not! Just 5 minutes, I'll get them now."

Saying this, Kaushalya ji went towards the kitchen. Mahir looked at everyone and then headed towards his room.

Vivek and Kabir started dancing together.

    Vivek sang,

"The dhol will play... the city will celebrate... our friend will ride the horse as a groom... sister-in-law will come, our sister-in-law will come..."

Kabir laughed and said, "Brother Vivek, where do you hear such songs from?"

    Vivek laughed and said,

    "We are desi, brother, desi."

Kaushalya ji brought the sweets, and everyone sweetened their mouths.

And then everyone went to their rooms to sleep.

Vivek is Mahir's best friend, so a separate room has been made for him in Obroi House. Or rather, Mahir has always considered Vivek more than a brother and considers him a part of his own family.

    Next morning...

Early in the morning, the news reached Bhardwaj House that Mahir had agreed to the marriage, and a happy atmosphere had also ensued there.

Parul was surprised... Mahir had agreed to the marriage despite her behavior.

But she had decided that she would not spend a single penny of Mahir's, even if their relationship was heading towards marriage.

    The next morning...

Early in the morning, the news reached Bhardwaj House that Mahir had said yes to the marriage, and there was a joyous atmosphere there as well.

Parul was surprised. Despite her behavior, Mahir had agreed to the marriage.

However, she had decided that she would not spend a single penny of Mahir's, even if their marriage was fixed.

    Forward...

There was a hustle and bustle in Bhardwaj House as the engagement ceremony was to take place today.

Parul wore a light purple floral lehenga and Dhruvikta wore a light pink one. Both dresses were from the Obroy family for their future daughters-in-law.

Both looked stunning even with light makeup. But the joy of impending marriage was missing from both their faces, and for different reasons. Parul's best friend, Nisha, was with them in the room.

Nisha looked at Parul in the mirror and said,

"Hi! May an evil eye not cast a shadow on my moon."

    Parul gave a faint smile.

Navdeep Ji wore a white kurta-pajama and was making arrangements for the puja with the priest.

Supriya Ji wore a deep red Banarasi saree and was busy instructing everyone about the engagement decorations.

    Obroy Mansion...

Kaushalya Ji couldn't keep her feet still with joy. She paced around, telling the servants,

"There should be no shortage in the auspicious gifts. It's the engagement of the sons of the Obroy family."

Tushar Ji said with a laugh,

"Oh, you fortunate one! With you around, a shortage is impossible!"

    Mahir's room...

Mahir looked stunning in a black business suit. But there were no expressions on Mahir's face; neither happiness nor sadness.

Pari had posted so many selfies on social media since morning that her selfie-taking speed suggested her phone's storage would run out soon.

Kabir's face had a different glow. He was very happy about his marriage.

Vivek, ready, entered Mahir's room and said,

    "Look! Don't I look like a hero?"

Mahir glanced at him and said,

"Rub a little more red on your nose. Then you'll look like a perfect circus clown."

    Vivek said laughingly,

"Oh, my Mahi! My dazzling beauty! So much anger is not good for your health either."

Mahir glared at Vivek and said,

"And too much happiness and excitement can also be harmful to health!"

    Vivek pouted and said,

    "You've ruined my dialogue."

Mahir said with a sly smile,

"Your face already looks like cow dung. What can I do about that?"

    Vivek said,

"And you are some Prince Charming."

    Mahir said,

"Well, at least you said something right with that rotten mouth of yours."

    Vivek said loudly,

    "Mahir, I'm going to..."

Kaushalya Ji entered the room and said,

"Come on, children! It's getting late. The auspicious time for the engagement will pass otherwise."

Everyone got into the cars and left for the Bhardwaj Mansion.

Three cars stopped in front of the Bhardwaj Mansion.

Hearing the sound of the cars stopping, Supriya Ji became very happy and said joyfully,

"Abhinav's father... they have arrived. Let's go to the door to receive them."

Navdeep Ji and Supriya Ji stood at the door with a big smile. Tushar Ji and Kaushalya Ji also had similar big smiles.

They entered through the door, followed by Mahir, Pari, Kabir, and Vivek. Behind them were ten to twelve servants carrying large trays covered with red cloth.

Soon, the puja began. Only the members of the Bhardwaj and Obroy families were to attend all the wedding rituals. At Mahir's request, only these two families were present at this engagement ceremony, along with Parul's best friend, Nisha.

In no time, the puja was completed, and both couples exchanged rings.

After exchanging rings, everyone sat together and had lunch. Vivek had been noticing Nisha for a while. Nisha wore a blue Anarkali suit and looked very beautiful even in that simple look.

Parul was ignoring Mahir, and Mahir was also ignoring Parul. Kabir's gaze was fixed on Dhruvikta. Dhruvikta felt the same way, but she acted as if she wasn't interested in Kabir in the slightest. And Kabir understood all this very well and smiled slowly.

Seeing Kabir smile, Vivek nudged him and said,

"Yes, Mr. Kabir Obroy! So, the peek-a-boo is on between the husband and wife."

    Kabir laughed and said,

"And our peek-a-boo is stabbing the hearts of single people."

    Vivek said,

"Laugh, my son, laugh! Your days will come too. You'll see, one day my bride will also find me at some turn."

After lunch, Mahir and his entire family left for the Obroy Mansion. Nisha stayed with Parul for a while and then also went home.

    Night time...

Dhruvikta was drying her hair after a bath in her room when she noticed some movement on her balcony. When she went there, her eyes turned red with anger. It was none other than Kabir on the balcony.

As soon as Dhruvikta opened her mouth to speak, Kabir covered her mouth with his hands and said,

"First, say you won't scream, and only then will I remove my hand."

    Dhruvikta blinked twice in affirmation.

Kabir gently removed his hand from her mouth and placed his lips on Dhruvikta's soft lips, sealing them. They weren't kissing, just feeling each other's presence.

A tear rolled down Dhruvikta's cheek, falling onto Kabir's cheek. Kabir pulled away from Dhruvikta, cupped her face in his hands, and said,

    "I am really sorry, baby."

Mahir, Parul, and Kabir, Dhruvika's engagement was done. The atmosphere in both Bharadwaj House and Obroi House was very happy. The wedding date was set for a week later. A week flew by in wedding preparations, and nobody realized it.

The wedding day arrived. Supriya Ji's voice echoed in Bharadwaj House. She was either scolding someone or someone else. Nisha had also arrived at Bharadwaj House. To make the atmosphere even more cheerful, she turned on the music player.

Just then, she heard Supriya Ji's voice, "First, a song welcoming Lord Ganesha should play. Otherwise, I'll pick up this music player and throw it out of the house."

Seeing Supriya Ji's anger, Nisha thought it best to obey her and the song played.

"Lord Ganesha, please come to my house, bring Riddhi and Siddhi with you, King Ganesha, please come to my house."

"Lord Ram, please come, Lord Lakshman, please come, bring Mother Sita along, please come to my house, please come to my house, Lord Ganesha."

"Lord Brahma, please come, Lord Vishnu, please come, bring Lord Shiva along, please come to my house, please come to my house, Lord Ganesha."

"Goddess Lakshmi, please come, Goddess Gauri, please come, bring Mother Saraswati along, please come to my house, please come to my house, Lord Ganesha."

"Remove obstacles, bring auspiciousness, make endeavors successful, please come to my house, please come to my house, Lord Ganesha."

Parul and Dhruvika were being prepared by the beautician in the same room. Nisha reached them and looking at Parul, said,

"Hi! Today, I'm jealous of Jiju. I wish I were a boy and could marry you."

    Dhruvika, making a face, said,

"Our sister has no interest in you."

    Nisha, teasing her, said,

"Oh, my little one! You are also looking very beautiful."

    Dhruvika said,

"Really? You can see us too. I thought when we and Didi are together, we disappear like Mr. India for you."

Dhruvika, making a face, said, "Hey, why do these girls flirt more with their besties than with boys? Why is that...?"

    Parul, quieting them, said,

"My head is already splitting from the headache. Please, you both stop fighting."

After a while, the sound of the band started. Nisha excitedly said,

"The baraat has arrived! I'll be the first to see Jiju."

And she ran downstairs. Seeing Nisha, only one line came out of Parul's mouth,

    "Crazy girl!"

Dhruvika was also a little excited to see Kabir, so she also went to the balcony to watch the baraat. Parul had no excitement. If she hadn't had that meeting with Mahir, and if Mahir hadn't called her middle-class, greedy, and such words, perhaps Parul would also have been very excited. But now this wedding didn't matter to her. There were no expectations, no resentment. Because eventually, she had to get married to someone. And Parul was satisfied that at least after marriage, she would still be with her sister.

The baraat was welcomed with great fanfare. Mahir was wearing a golden sherwani, in which he looked very handsome. Mahir rarely dressed in Indian attire, so he was looking amazing in a new look today.

Kabir was also wearing a maroon sherwani. But he looked very different from Mahir because he had a very sweet smile on his face, which showed how happy Kabir was with this wedding.

Supriya Ji and Navjeet Ji welcomed the entire Obroi family with great respect and hospitality. Mahir and Kabir were seated on chairs on the stage, with chairs for Parul and Dhruvika placed next to them. Nisha brought Parul, and Supriya Ji brought Dhruvika to the stage. Kabir stepped forward, took Dhruvika's hand from Supriya Ji's hands into his own, and brought her to the chair himself. Nisha seated Parul next to Mahir. Mahir was trying to steal glances at Parul. And Kabir, shamelessly, was lifting Dhruvika's veil again and again to see her face and smiling shyly. And Vivek was secretly clicking photos of Kabir smiling shyly.

Pari was also enjoying the party, wandering around, when suddenly she collided with someone, and both of them fell down with a thud.

    Abhinav, angrily, said,

    "Hey, who is blind?"

And then he got up and turned around, narrowing his eyes, he said,

"Oh! Not blind, but a blind woman?"

    Pari, angrily, said,

"Why am I blind? You are blind! A person without eyes! Hmmph!"

    Abhinav said,

    "Apologize to me."

Pari, with her arms crossed, said with attitude,

"We are from the groom's side! We won't apologize!"

Abhinav, raising his eyebrows, said, "Oh! Really? Is that why you're so arrogant? Anyway, this is our house, so we should actually be showing attitude, not you people. Wow! So much from the groom's side... You buffalo!"

Pari, with a tearful face, said,

"Buffalo!!!! You called me a buffalo! I won't leave you, you ox!"

Abhinav, sticking his tongue out at her, ran away from there.

And soon, the time came when Mahir, Parul, and Kabir, Dhruvika's pair, were called to the mandap. No conversation had taken place between Mahir and Parul so far. Meanwhile, Kabir was talking to Dhruvika alone. Dhruvika was only saying yes or no, sometimes in anger, sometimes laughing. Vivek, while taking pictures of Kabir and Mahir, also started taking pictures of Nisha standing next to them. Nisha looked very beautiful. Vivek felt like proposing to Nisha right then. Then, shaking off his thoughts, he said,

"Hey, you've come to a friend's wedding, Vivek... and you're looking for a beloved for yourself. How shameless!"

Then he glanced at Nisha and said,

"Man... this shamelessness... she's so beautiful that I feel like being shameless."

And then he laughed at his own thoughts. And the wedding mantras echoed throughout the hall. And Bharadwaj House was a Brahmin's house anyway, so the pandit was correctly reciting each mantra with full ritual.

    The pandit said,

"Please come forward for the tying of the knot."

So Navjeet Ji tied the knot for Parul and Mahir, and Abhinav tied the knot for Dhruvika and Kabir. All the wedding rituals were completed in no time. And finally, the pandit said,

"The wedding is complete. From today, you are husband and wife. Now, take blessings from the elders."

All four took blessings from everyone. And then it was time for Dhruvika and Parul's farewell. To know more about their wedding journey, keep reading.

The time for farewell had arrived.

Soft music was playing in the background.

"Banno re Banno, meri chali sasural ko, aankhon mein paani de gayi, dua mein meethi gud dhani le gayi, dua mein meethi gud dhani le gayi."

Parul was crying inconsolably, hugging Supriya Ji. Dhruvika was hugging Navjeet Ji and crying.

Abhinav gently separated Dhruvika from Navjeet Ji and then led her towards Kabir's car, hugging her himself.

Kabir also lovingly held Dhruvika's hand.

Nisha, while separating Parul from Supriya Ji, held her by the shoulders and began to lead her towards Mahir.

"Gudiya ri Gudiya, tera gudda pardesiya, jodi aasmani ho gayi, sagun pe dekho sadmani ho gayi re, Kabira maan ja re fakeer yun na ja, aaja tujhko pukare teri parchhaiyan."

    Nisha whispered,

"Your nose is getting all swollen from crying. It doesn't suit a new bride."

And then she covered her mouth and started laughing.

Nisha handed Parul's hand over to Mahir.

Both brides were in separate cars, and the rest of the Oberoi family set off in another car for the Oberoi House.

A silence had fallen between Mahir and Parul in the car, and Parul's sobbing cries were doing a good job of breaking that silence.

Parul was repeatedly wiping her tears.

Just then, a hand holding a handkerchief appeared in front of her face.

Parul turned her eyes and saw Mahir, who was sitting there completely silent with an expressionless face.

Parul took the handkerchief without any argument and began to wipe her tears and her nose with it.

In Kabir's car, Kabir had Dhruvika sitting in his lap, with his arms wrapped around her waist.

And Dhruvika sat there with a pout. She was neither stopping Kabir nor cooperating with him.

    Kabir said with a smile,

"This red face of yours in anger looks like a Kashmiri apple. I feel like tasting it right now."

Dhruvika looked into Kabir's eyes with anger and said,

"What are you trying to say?"

    Kabir hummed and said,

"Tere naina aise kafir, kya chhupaoon tujhse aakhir, tu toh jaane meri saari choriyaan, tere peeche tere peeche, chal doon main aankhein meeche, tere haathon mein hai meri doriyan."

Dhruvika looked even angrier and the next moment turned her gaze away.

A little while later, the car stopped at the Oberoi Mansion.

At the behest of Koshlya Ji and Tushar Ji, an elderly maid from their house had made all the arrangements for welcoming the new brides.

Koshlya Ji said as she got out of the car,

"Janki, are all the preparations done?"

Janki said with a smile, "Yes, Madam. Come, welcome the brides with this pooja thali."

Tushar Ji, Pari, and Vivek also got out of the car and stood behind Koshlya Ji.

At the doorway, two kalashas filled with rice were placed, and in front of them was a thali containing red colored liquid.

Koshlya Ji applied a tilak to everyone one by one and then said,

"Both of you, knock over these kalashas with your right foot and come inside."

Parul and Dhruvika did exactly that. Mahir and Kabir also came inside holding their hands.

Then Koshlya Ji made Parul and Dhruvika place their feet in the thali, and then the red imprint of their feet became visible in their courtyard.

    Koshlya Ji said,

"It's very late at night. You all rest. We will do the remaining rituals tomorrow."

Mahir gestured something to Vivek, and both went upstairs towards the terrace.

Kabir took Dhruvika's hand and began to lead her to his room.

Pari, Parul, Koshlya Ji, and Tushar Ji were left in the hall.

    Pari excitedly said,

"Come on, Bhabhi, I'll show you to your room!"

Parul nodded in affirmation with a sweet smile and began to lead her to Mahir's room upstairs.

Koshlya Ji did not like Mahir leaving Parul alone in the hall at all, but what could she do?

Tushar Ji placed his hand on her shoulder and said,

"Don't worry. Mahir will accept Bahu very quickly."

Koshlya Ji said in a worried tone,

"I fear that because of us, this cheerful child's life might also become colorless like Mahir's."

    Tushar Ji said,

"Don't think too much. Everything will be fine very soon."

And they too went towards their room.

Pari, leaving Parul at the door, said,

"Sorry Bhabhi, Bhai doesn't like decorations much, and we don't have permission to go inside. Only Vivek Bhai goes inside this room. Now you go and rest."

    Parul said confusedly,

"Why is that? Why can't you go inside?"

    Pari said with a smile,

"It's that, Bhai is afraid I might break his expensive belongings. You go, Bhai's face is stern, not his heart."

Saying this, Pari left, and Parul, still confused, stepped into the room.

As soon as Parul saw the entire interior design of the room, she was mesmerized. The entire room was decorated with a white and black theme, which looked very decent. Black bedsheet, white sheet, curtains half black and half white.

Then Parul's gaze fell on Mahir's picture on the wall. Mahir's photo was shirtless. On his shoulder was a dangerous tiger tattoo, with the tiger growling. That tattoo covered almost half of Mahir's chest. Near the waist, something was written in Italian, which was incomprehensible. In his hand was a bottle of wine. Mahir's hand was raised upwards, his eyes were closed, and the wine was pouring onto Mahir's eight-pack abs.

Parul's eyes widened as she said,

"Oh my God! My husband is so hot!"

Then, making a face, she said,

"He was supposed to be hot-hot only in looks, but he's like burning embers even in nature. I should be careful."

Mahir and Vivek were drinking on the terrace.

Mahir had drunk too much and still wasn't stopping.

Vivek had drunk only a limited amount and was trying to stop Mahir.

But all efforts were in vain.

Mahir could only remember putting vermilion in Parul's hair.

Suddenly, blurry images of another girl started appearing in his mind.

That girl was very beautiful, and her heavy makeup made her look even hotter.

    Dark lipstick on her lips,

    Long, shoulder-length hair...

Mahir and she were dancing in some pub.

Mahir's hands were around her waist.

As Mahir remembered that girl, he started drinking the entire bottle of wine in his hand.

    Vivek stopped him and said,

"Hey beautiful! Today is your wedding night, so much intoxication is not good."

    "Spare the poor wine!"

Mahir said with a slurred tongue,

"I... I... miss her so much! Why can't I forget her... all... all girls are the same, right... bloody gold diggers!"

    Vivek said,

"No, man, it's not like that. Sister-in-law had truth and innocence on her face!"

"Don't hurt them, not at all!"

    Mahir said, laughing at himself,

"How can he hurt anyone who has no limit to their own hurt!"

    Vivek said,

"Now go, sister-in-law must be waiting for you..."

Saying this, he picks up Mahir and almost shoves him down from the terrace.

Mahir also reaches the room with staggering steps.

When he looks ahead, his eyes get fixed on Parul.

Parul was feeling a bit uncomfortable in her heavy lehenga and heavy dupatta. So she had taken off the dupatta and kept it aside, and had also undone her tight bun, which covered her entire back. She was sitting on the sofa at this moment. Her fair waist was completely visible, which

On the other side, Dhruvika and Kabir's room.

Dhruvika was sitting on the bed. She had already changed and was wearing a comfortable knee-length nightie that looked beautiful on her.

Kabir came out of the bathroom, refreshed, and a smile played on his lips seeing his cute wife's pouting face. He walked towards Dhruvika, shaking his hair.

"My baby is angry with me! Hmm"

Kabir said, sitting in front of Dhruvika.

Dhruvika averted her gaze and said,

"Don't try to be too clingy. And sleep on the sofa quietly."

Kabir cupped Dhruvika's face in his hands and said,

    "I'm sorry, baby!"

    "I love our baby too."

Dhruvika shook off Kabir's hands and said,

"If that were the case, you wouldn't have asked me for an abortion at all. You would have married me of your own free will, not under pressure from the family."

Kabir held both of Dhruvika's hands and said,

"I can't marry anyone under their pressure. My will was also involved in this, and I couldn't even think of getting married before my elder brother."

"There is already a lot of discord in the family. I didn't want to make another mistake."

"Do you think our love is a mistake?" Dhruvika said.

Kabir pulled her closer and said,

    "Try to understand, darling!"

"I didn't want to hurt either the family or you. I'm sorry, I'm really sorry!"

    "Now, smile too, hmm?"

Dhruvika's eyelids were still down. So, Kabir, in a very charming way, turned her face towards him and said,

"If you say so, I'll say sorry a thousand times a day. And if you ask me not to speak, I won't open my mouth all day."

"From now on, you get angry and I'll pacify you, this will be my life's principle. Because I will only open every hidden page of my heart in front of you."

"If I have hurt your heart, then I will bear this pain of your anger."

A faint smile bloomed on Dhruvika's face, which felt like drops of cool dew on Kabir's burning heart. And he leaned forward and touched Dhruvika's forehead with his cool lips.

Peace spread across both their faces.

    The next morning.

    Mahir's room.

Mahir's eyes opened due to the sunlight falling on his face. As soon as he opened his eyes, he saw he was lying in a strange position on the bed.

He quickly sat up and looked around. He just wanted to know where his new bride was. But there was silence in the whole room.

Mahir quickly got up and went to freshen up.

After some time, when he reached downstairs, the whole house was bustling.

Kaushalya ji was telling some men to do things quickly. Confusion was evident on Mahir's face.

Just then, Kabir also came out of his room and went to Kaushalya ji and said,

"What's happening this early in the morning, Mom? Is there something special?"

Kaushalya ji said with a smile,

"Your sister-in-law is used to praying in the morning, and there was no Ram temple in the house, so we are installing the idol here."

Hearing this, Kabir was happy, while Mahir's eyebrows furrowed.

His wife turned out to be quite dramatic! She has turned the whole house upside down on the very first day.

The idol installation was completed in a short while.

Mahir was just about to leave because he never had breakfast sitting here, so he had no business here.

But suddenly, Parul's sweet voice reached his ears,

"Walking to my doorstep today, all four pilgrimages have arrived, beat the drums in welcome, Ram has come to my house."

Hearing this voice, Mahir's steps automatically moved towards the temple.

"Like Shabari's story, my story is connected,

Don't stop me today, let me wash my feet with the tears from my eyes,

My tears are very happy that they have come to serve the Lord.

Beat the drums in welcome, Ram has come to my house."

As soon as the bhajan ended, Parul turned back with the Aarti plate and looked at everyone. The entire Oberoi family stood before her, along with Dhruvika with a big smile.

Today Parul was wearing a pink sari, which further enhanced her milky complexion. Her beauty was captivating Mahir's eyes.

Mahir didn't even realize when he had walked right up to her.

As soon as Parul handed him the prasad, Mahir snapped back to his senses.

And then, avoiding eye contact, he quickly took the prasad and turned to leave.

Parul just kept watching him. What a strange person! He keeps a grumpy face first thing in the morning.

For Mahir, it was embarrassing. He quickly ate the prasad and walked out of the main door.

Kaushalya ji watched Mahir with tears in her eyes. Tushar ji also let out a deep sigh and shook his head in negation.

It was very painful for both of them to see their son turn away like this. But somewhere, they felt it was their own fault, so they didn't want to say anything to Mahir.

After some time, everyone sat down for breakfast. Kabir was very happy. Finally, Dhruvika was talking to him comfortably and eating with him. Meanwhile, Parul was thinking about Mahir's behavior and wondering what could be the reason.

Suddenly, it clicked in Parul's mind. She had said at the time of marriage that she would not depend on him and would do her own work. Was Mahir angry because of this?

She didn't know what else Parul was thinking.

    Just then, Kaushalya ji said,

"Beta, what are you lost in thought about? Why aren't you eating? If you have any problems, you can share them with us without hesitation."

    Pari also chirped,

"Yes, Bhabhi, whatever the problem, just one call from you, and your sister-in-law is always ready."

Tushar ji said with a smile,

"Consider this your own home. We will take care of you just like your parents."

Parul said with a slight smile,

"Actually, we want to get jobs! So you..."

    Kaushalya ji interrupted her, saying,

"Then what's there to ask, beta? Work in our company."

Parul, who was about to take a bite, stopped. She looked at Kaushalya ji in surprise. She wanted to keep a distance of two yards from Mahir, and they were sending her to him.

Parul forced a smile and said,

"Mummy ji, I don't want VIP treatment. I want to gain experience. Firstly, there I am the CEO's wife, so employees will look at me differently, which I cannot accept. That's why I will get a job elsewhere."

    Tushar ji said abruptly,

"No problem, beta. We won't inform anyone that you are Mahir's wife."

"And you will gain experience too."

"And we will have peace of mind knowing you are safe, because if you go somewhere outside, we will constantly worry about your safety."

Parul had nothing left to say. She was eating her food unwillingly.

And she was cursing herself in her heart. What was the need to say this? Now she might have to face the Mahir bomb every day.

The day passed like this. Parul had blended in quite well with Pari and Kaushalya ji. As for Dhruvika, her in-laws were not the grumpy ones she had imagined. And her husband was so loving! So she also felt at home with them all.

This evening, Abhinav was going to take Parul and Dhruvika to Bharadwaj House for the pagfera ceremony, for which both Parul and Dhruvika were getting ready.

Parul wore a pistachio green colored saree, which made her fair complexion stand out.

But alas, her husband is so grumpy, even if he looked, expecting praise from him would be wrong.

    Dhruvika's room...

Dhruvika was adjusting the pleats of her red saree while looking in the mirror. Meanwhile, Kabir's face was downcast.

He was sitting on the bed.

His gaze kept drifting towards his wife. Whenever she lifted her saree, her fair waist was visible.

And due to pregnancy, she was glowing a lot.

Kabir's cute wife was now leaving him. So the poor man was thinking about what to do and what not to do.

He couldn't bear it any longer, so he got up, went to Dhruvika, and hugged her from behind.

And sniffing her hair, he said in a low voice,

"Please don't go. How will I live without the baby? I have so many things to tell the baby at night."

Dhruvika let out a deep sigh and said,

"You're talking as if your baby understands everything about you."

"And my baby bump hasn't even appeared yet. It's not even properly formed yet, how will it understand your conversations?"

"Now leave me, Didi is waiting for me..."

Before Dhruvika could say anything else, Kabir turned her towards him and captured her lips.

And he kissed her so eagerly, as if he would never get another chance.

Abhinav was sitting on the sofa in the hall. Tushar ji was sitting in front of him.

"Pari beta, bring something for Abhinav, snacks and all! Tell me first, son, what will you have, cold or hot?"

Abhinav felt a little awkward. This was the first time he had come as a guest to such a big man's house. Moreover, these were the in-laws of his sisters.

    He hesitated and said,

    "Nothing, Uncle, I just ate!"

Pari looked at him with annoyance. Because when she had gone to their house on the wedding day, Abhinav and she had fought.

And Abhinav had shown off a lot, saying this was his house. But now that he had come to Pari's house, the poor girl had to entertain him.

A little later, Parul, Dhruvika, and Abhinav left for Bharadwaj House.

    Night time...

Mahir had come early from the office today. And he himself didn't know the reason. Ever since he had seen Parul, he kept wanting to see her again and again.

He had been thinking about her all day at the office and had been venting his anger at her all the way.

"When I go home, I don't know what all I'll say to her, I'll do this, I'll do that."

But when he came home, he couldn't find Parul anywhere.

And if he asked anyone, his dignity would be diminished.

So he kept going to the kitchen, or Kabir's room, or Parul's room, under some pretext or another.

Meanwhile, Kabir had a different plan. How would he enter his in-laws' house?

And finally, the idea of becoming a son-in-law by breaking a window seemed best to him.

And he set off for Bharadwaj House.

Seeing Mahir pacing around the house in frustration, Pari asked in confusion,

    "Brother, has something got lost?"

At that moment, someone entered the house and it was Vivek. Vivek said softly,

"How is the atmosphere so calm in the house today?"

Mahir didn't say anything and continued to be lost in thought.

    Pari said,

"See, Vivek bhai, Mahir bhai has been roaming around here and there. I don't understand what he's lost now."

On hearing Pari's words, Vivek burst out laughing. He then glanced at Mahir and placed a hand on his shoulder, saying,

"What's the matter, sir? Seems like the wife is lost, huh?"

Mahir, whose eyes were searching for Parul, nodded in affirmation and said,

"She was here in the morning...!!!"

And suddenly, he realized what he was doing and quickly brushed off Vivek's hand from his shoulder, saying,

"Go away! I was thinking of renovating the house, just like the temple. I wasn't looking for anyone..."

Vivek struggled to contain his laughter and said with a narrowed gaze,

    "Are you sure?"

This time, Mahir said with a bit of anger,

"That's why I was walking around the house."

Vivek couldn't hold back his laughter anymore.

"Brother, why are you making such a big fuss today? You never used to make such a fuss earlier."

Vivek gave Pari a high-five and they both started laughing, holding their mouths.

Mahir clenched his fists and started to walk away. Pari suddenly said,

"Your sister-in-law has gone to her parents' house. You have to take her today."

Mahir stopped in his tracks and said with clenched jaws,

"Why? Is she a little girl that I need to carry her? She can come back on her own. She left on her own two feet, and she can come back on them too."

    Kaushalya Ji intervened,

"Where are you going? Eat something. And this is a ritual - the bride goes to her parents' house with her brother and comes back with her husband!"

"You and Kabeer both have to go!"

    Pari said,

"But Kabeer bhai was saying he's out of town for his new project today..."

Kaushalya Ji placed her hand on her head,

"What am I to do with these two?! Now, shall I and your father go to bring her? Don't they have wives?"

Mahir was exhausted listening to their conversation. He quickly went to his room.

As soon as he entered his room, he punched the wall and growled in anger,

"This girl wants to control Mahir Oberoi with her hints, but I won't let that happen...!!!"

    It was nighttime.

    The Bharadwaj House.

    Mumbai.

Dhruvika was lying comfortably on her bed when suddenly a shadow entered her room through the balcony.

Dhruvika was startled and her eyes opened wide.

But she didn't dare to look back to see who it was.

Fear caused her face to sweat.

The shadow kept moving towards her, and in a moment, it was right next to her.

Dhruvika closed her eyes, overcome with fear.

The shadow raised its hand to touch Dhruvika, and she let out a terrified scream.

But the next moment, Kabeer placed his hand on her mouth and whispered,

    "Don't scream, please!"

On hearing Kabeer's voice, Dhruvika quickly opened her eyes and glared at him angrily.

Kabeer immediately pretended to be innocent and said, holding his ears,

"Sorry, I couldn't help but come. I promise I tried not to come and just eat and sleep, but it didn't work out.

    I am really sorry."

    Dhruvika said angrily,

"Then why did you have to come like a ghost? Don't you have a phone or a way to come properly? You could have called me, you know. I was so scared."

    Kabeer said,

"I'm telling you I'm sorry, forgive me, okay?"

He then turned on the side lamp, illuminating Dhruvika's face, which shone like gold.

A peaceful smile spread across his lips.

Kabeer gently kissed Dhruvika's forehead and stroked her hair, saying,

    "I've got used to you."

Then, he touched her baby bump and said,

    "And this little devil too."

Kabeer's face glowed with happiness as he said this.

Dhruvika smiled slightly and moved aside to make space for Kabeer on the bed.

Kabeer was extremely happy and quickly lay down beside her, embracing her.

    The next morning.

Parul was getting ready quickly. She wore a wine-colored net saree, a matching plain blouse, and lots of bangles. Her forehead was adorned with a bindi, her hair parted with sindoor, her lips colored with lipstick, and her eyes lined with kajal. She looked like a newlywed bride.

She quickly went downstairs to perform the aarti, where Navdeep Ji, Supriya Ji, and Abhinav were present.

After so many days, Parul's sweet voice brought a sense of peace to their faces.

    Bharadwaj House. Morning.

Parul had arrived and was performing the aarti. The aarti was completed shortly, and Parul started preparing breakfast with Supriya ji.

While cooking, Supriya ji asked, "Son, what time will son-in-law be here? Do you know anything?"

Parul's hands stopped abruptly as she continued working, and Mahir's angry face flashed before her eyes. How could she even expect him to come?

Seeing the worry on her face, Supriya ji's hands also stopped. "Is something bothering you, child?"

She asked, seeing her daughter so quiet. Parul shook her head in negation with a slight smile and said, "No, Mom, it's nothing like that. He just has an important meeting, so I don't know if he'll be able to come."

Supriya ji said, "It's alright. If he can't come, Kabir will. He's also a son-in-law of the house, isn't he."

Parul nodded in agreement. Their kitchen was an open kitchen, directly attached to the hall.

In the hall, Navdeep ji was reading the newspaper. He found Parul's words strange and suspected Mahir. Were rich boys like that, who cheated on their wives and troubled them, their son-in-law too? Because Parul looked extremely troubled. Supriya ji was more connected to Dhruvika, and Navdeep ji was connected to Parul. He knew how to read the sadness in his daughter's eyes.

He was lost in thought when suddenly a sleepy voice was heard, "Mom, why hasn't my coffee arrived yet?"

And this was none other than Kabir. The gentleman had forgotten that he was not at his own home but at his in-laws'.

Navdeep ji looked up, and his eyes widened in surprise seeing Kabir like that. When must Kabir have arrived here? Parul and Supriya ji felt the same. They looked at each other once and then at Kabir.

When Kabir received no answer, he looked up and the next moment a scream escaped his mouth. He almost jumped, grabbing the railing of the stairs. Seeing him scream, Navdeep ji became even more scared. But the next moment, Kabir forced a smile and said, "G... Good morning father-in-law... Hihihi... Good.. good morning mother-in-law! Good morning Bhabiji! I was... I..."

He had nothing more to say.

Abhinav was in his room. He had also heard Kabir's scream, so he quickly came towards the stairs and putting his hand on Kabir's shoulder, said, "Jiju...!"

Kabir screamed again out of fear. He turned and looked at Abhinav, then put his hand on his chest and said, "You shouldn't put your hand on a scared person's shoulder from behind; he might get a heart attack."

Abhinav said softly, "Didn't you think about that before coming here? You're coming out of Di's bedroom like a ghost. My family might get a heart attack too."

Kabir showed his teeth to everyone, and Dhruvika had also arrived by now. Her face was all gloomy. Her husband was useless, always making the wrong entry at the wrong place. She looked at Kabir with a tearful face and then at her father. Her face was down with shame.

Suddenly Supriya ji started laughing and said, "It's alright, son-in-law. It's bad to feel so embarrassed, especially after coming to your own in-laws'. This is also a home, and I am like your Mom. I'll bring you coffee now, you freshen up. Abhinav's clothes will come for you."

Kabir scratched his head and nodded in agreement and left. Meanwhile, Parul was lost in thought. What a difference between the two brothers! While cutting vegetables, she said, "One's nature is as cold as ice, and mine is a ball of fire. Hmm... my fate is sealed..."

    Oberoi Mansion...

A different war had broken out at Oberoi Mansion: Mahir v/s Kaushalya ji.

Kaushalya ji said in an angry voice, "Mahir, we don't want Mr. and Mrs. Bharadwaj to feel that their daughter is not happy here. So you'll have to bring them."

Mahir replied, "Mrs. Oberoi... you should also know who you are standing in front of. Mahir Oberoi gives orders, he doesn't follow them. And do whatever you want, I will not go to pick her up at all."

Tushar ji roared angrily, "Mahir, you're becoming more and more ill-mannered day by day. She is your mother."

Mahir had already gone towards the stairs, but hearing Tushar ji's words, he turned and slammed his hand on the railing and said, "She is not my mother... she is only your wife. I have said this a thousand times, understood?"

Saying this, he quickly headed towards his room, and tears welled up in Kaushalya ji's eyes. Tushar ji embraced her and said, "Perhaps he needs more time..."

Kaushalya ji sobbed and said, "Now Parul and Dhruvika..."

Tushar ji said, "We'll make an excuse for Mahir not going, and we'll bring those two ourselves. Now stop crying rivers."

    Bharadwaj Mansion

Abhinav looked particularly cool in Kabir's clothes, which made Abhinav slightly jealous. His jeeju were more good-looking than him.

At that moment, they were enjoying their breakfast. Parul and Dhruvika were also sitting with them. Supriya Ji was serving dinner to everyone.

Supriya Ji served everyone's food. So Parul said,

"Ma, now you also eat with us."

Kabir bowed his head and ate quietly. He was feeling shy. He couldn't get over his one mistake, and again he behaved stupidly.

But Navjeet and Supriya Ji had no hard feelings towards Kabir.

They understood his childish mistake and forgave him.

After some time, Kabir was ready to go home, and Parul and Dhruvika were also with him.

The three of them took their leave and left for Oberoi Mansion.

Meanwhile, at Oberoi Mansion, Kaushalya Ji and Tushar Ji were ready to go to their relatives' house.

They were hurrying so that they could reach by lunchtime.

In about twenty minutes, they prepared gifts for their relatives and got ready themselves.

They were just about to leave the main gate when they saw Kabir, Dhruvika, and Parul smiling at them. They stared at them in shock.

Parul and Dhruvika came forward and touched their feet. Tushar Ji and Kaushalya Ji smiled and blessed them. Then Kaushalya Ji pinched Kabir's ear and said,

"My dear, you went out of town, didn't you? How did you reach your father-in-law's house?"

Kabir stuttered, "I...I was just roaming around."

Kaushalya Ji laughed and left his ear. She smiled and took him inside.

As they entered, they saw Mahir ready to go to the office.

Tushar Ji stopped him and said, "Mahir, we need to talk to you about something important."

Mahir's eyes were fixed on Parul, as she looked extremely beautiful. But he didn't want to make her feel that he had longed to see her for just a day.

Mahir put his hands in his pocket and said, "Yes, what is it, Dad?" and glanced at the rest of them with a bored expression.

Meanwhile, Kabir quietly held Dhruvika's hand and took her towards the stairs.

Because he was only concerned about his own loved ones, not important matters or work.

Tushar Ji glanced at Parul and said, "From today, Parul will also go to the office with you. You can give her any job you want. If you want to hide her identity, you can; otherwise, it's between you two. And I think she can be your personal assistant?"

Mahir glanced at Parul and said, "I don't think she's capable of being my PA."

His harsh words hurt Parul directly, but she didn't say anything. She just bowed her head.

Tushar Ji narrowed his eyes and said, "How can you judge someone's ability without seeing their work, Mahir?"

Mahir smiled slightly and said, "Because I have a businessman's eyes."

Parul interrupted Tushar Ji and said, "It's okay, Papa Ji. If I don't get the PA position, it's no big deal. I just want to work. And it's right; I don't have much experience, so maybe I'm not worthy of a big post."

Parul's understanding made Kaushalya Ji and Tushar Ji smile.

Meanwhile, Mahir's fists clenched with anger. No matter how hard he tried, he couldn't belittle this girl.

After some time, Mahir's driver was driving the car. Mahir and Parul were sitting in the backseat.

Parul still wore the same dark wine-colored saree she had worn when she left home.

In the middle of the road, Mahir suddenly shouted, "Stop the car!"

The driver, hearing Mahir's loud voice, stopped the car in fear.

Mahir opened Parul's side door and said, "Go, madam... you understand that you have to come to the office as a normal employee!!!"

Parul looked at Mahir in surprise. How rude her husband was!

Tears welled up in her eyes, but she smiled slightly and said, "Now that my husband has said it, I have to obey. You please go ahead in your long, broad car, and I'll come as a normal employee."

Saying this, Parul got out of the car and slammed the door shut.

    Mahir's jaw clenched with anger.

The driver also chuckled at Mahir's condition. Mahir growled, "Start the car, idiot!"

The driver quickly started the car.

Mahir's car drove away. The shopkeepers and passersby looked at Parul with strange eyes.

Parul cursed Mahir to herself and walked ahead.

She was moving forward, but she didn't know the address of her destination.

Her heart was racing. Who knew how far Mahir's office was? Would she reach the office on foot in a whole day?

Many questions swirled in her mind.

The problem was that she didn't know the way to Oberoi Industries. Nor did she know how far it was from there, or how long it might take her to get there!

    But Parul bravely asked someone,

"Excuse me sir, how far is Oberoi Group of Industries from here?"

The man first looked at Parul strangely, then said,

"Madam, it will take about forty minutes to walk from here."

Parul's eyes widened upon hearing this, but she then said with a slight smile,

"Thank you. Does this straight road go there?"

    The man said,

"Yes, just follow this road. You will see the building with shining lights. It is the tallest building here."

Parul nodded in agreement and walked ahead, cursing Mahir again, saying,

"What's the use of building the city's tallest building when your heart is smaller than a mouse hole?"

"Hmm, it's my bad luck, Ram Ji, that I married him... But since I've married him, I'll have to endure it..."

Meanwhile, Mahir was sitting grandly in his cabin chair. His gaze was fixed on the CCTV footage of the building's entrance. He had been waiting for Parul's arrival for the past half an hour. She hadn't done any work or attended any meeting since arriving here. He was just staring at the laptop. And looking at him, his P.A., Ram, was holding his head in regret that they had missed such an important meeting. But his boss didn't seem to care even a bit.

And soon, Mahir's wait was over, because Parul was standing in front of the main gate, wiping sweat from her saree pallu. She was breathless.

As soon as she tried to enter, the security guard standing there stopped her and said,

"Oh madam! Where are you going inside? No interviews are happening today, and you can't go inside without a pass."

Parul's face fell even further. She had walked so far in the sun, and now she wasn't even being allowed in. She muttered to herself,

"What a hassle! Do you have to get a pass too? Where will I get a pass from?"

Parul was biting her lips in confusion. Meanwhile, the security guard was looking her up and down in a lewd manner, because Parul's saree had clung to her chest and waist with sweat, enhancing her curves. He said with a dirty smile,

"Madam, did the sir personally call you?"

Parul stared at him for a moment, but then she thought, what if Mahir had really mentioned her? What if her grumpy husband felt pity for her situation? She quickly said,

"Yes, yes, he called me personally. So can I go?"

The security guard ran his hand over his neck and said,

"No madam, sir said that whoever I call personally, we also have an equal right over them."

Surprise filled Parul's eyes, because she now perfectly understood the guard's intentions and the meaning of his words. Along with that, she felt even more shocked hearing about Mahir.

Before she could say anything, a loud noise was heard, followed by a scream from the bodyguard. The belt hit his back with such force that his entire skin, along with his shirt, was peeled off.

Parul covered her ears in fear. When she looked around, it was Mahir, his eyes blazing with anger. He had his own belt in his hand, which he was wrapping around his hand as he looked at the security guard.

He pulled the belt and hit him once more, and the security guard screamed such that all the employees heard him. His voice was filled with immeasurable pain.

Mahir was breathless. It was evident from his appearance that he had lost control. Everyone was afraid to go near him. Even Parul, standing at such a distance, was trembling all over with fear.

Mahir's face was flushed with anger at that moment. He turned and said,

"How dare you say such things to her?"

And with that, he pulled the belt and hit the security guard's back once more. The next moment, the guard fell to his knees on the ground. He was in terrible pain. Now, slowly, some employees started gathering around to watch them, which started frightening Parul. She gently stepped forward and placed her hand on Mahir's arm, saying,

"Why are you creating such a big scene in front of everyone? He just spoke, he didn't do anything."

Mahir looked at Parul with burning eyes. Parul knew Mahir was about to shout at her too, so she immediately stepped back two steps and blinked her eyes, looking at him as if trying to convey that it wasn't her fault, it was all Mahir's fault; why did he leave her alone on the road? If he hadn't left her, she wouldn't have had to come here, and the security guard wouldn't have dared to say anything to Parul.

    To be continued.

    Mahir said, taking deep breaths,

    "Bharat!!!"

The next moment, a man in a bodyguard's uniform appeared and said fearfully,

    "Yes... Yes, sir."

Mahir looked at him and said,

"Take him away. And if he gets even a moment of peace, the peace will be erased from your life."

Bharat, fearing, quickly moved towards the security guard and said,

    "Yes sir, I understand."

The next moment, he took the security guard away. Mahir shouted,

    "Back to your work, everyone."

Everyone quietly disappeared like a breeze and got back to their work.

After that, Mahir stared at Parul and said,

"And you, come to my cabin."

Parul slowly followed Mahir. Soon, they were both in an elevator.

As soon as the elevator door closed, Mahir pressed Parul against the elevator door, holding her arms tightly, and said sternly,

"You have no idea in what condition, to whom, and how you are talking?"

Parul's hands started to hurt. But she also said with great anger,

"What nonsense are you talking? I don't think my condition is bad, nor was my tone bad. It was that person's gaze that was bad, understand?"

    Mahir said angrily again,

"So you could see that, yet you were talking to him? Didn't you know your sari was drenched in sweat?"

Tears welled up in Parul's eyes due to the pain. She said with a choked voice,

"What is my fault in this? Can you change what happened by hurting me? And you were the one who gave him that opportunity. Yet, I should bear your anger?"

"I should have been angry. Because of you, that man spoke such words to me."

Before Mahir could say anything to her, the elevator stopped and they both came out.

Parul was still crying. She had never demanded her rights from Mahir, but when it came to a girl's honor and character, she needed her partner the most.

His belief in her was the biggest support for her. But the opposite was happening with Parul.

Her husband was blaming her, hurting her.

Mahir took Parul's hand and led her towards his cabin.

As soon as they entered the cabin, he shook off Parul's hand and said,

"If I can't blame you, then you can't blame me either. Understand? I didn't tell you to join the office."

Parul looked at Mahir, crying, and then wiping her tears, she said,

"Okay... okay. I won't complain to you. But what are you trying to prove by getting angry at me now? I don't understand. Why are you angry? It shouldn't even matter to you, no matter what anyone says about me."

"And it was me... you saved me from his dirty gaze. But how many girls must come here for jobs every day, and how many girls does your security guard behave with like this?"

Mahir was speechless to respond to Parul. Because he himself didn't know why he got so angry when the guard stared at Parul.

Mahir felt like clawing the guard's eyes out.

But why? He had no answer. And now even Parul's tears were causing him pain.

    Oberoi Mansion.

Dhruvika and Kabir were going to the doctor for Dhruvika's check-up today, for which they were both ready.

Kaushalyaji was very happy for them. It was the last week of Dhruvika's second month at that time.

Before leaving, Kaushalyaji prayed to Ramji for them, gave them prasad, and then they both left for the hospital.

It is said that a girl's face glows during pregnancy. But in this couple's case, the opposite was happening.

More than Dhruvika, Kabir's face had the glow of becoming a father.

    Oberoi Corporation

Mahir was sitting in his cabin. Ram didn't know which wall to bang his head against, as he couldn't say anything to his boss.

Mahir hadn't done a single thing since he arrived. He was just sitting in his chair, staring at the laptop. Poor Ram didn't know that his boss had gotten married and now felt it was more important to stare at his wife than to work.

Parul and Yuvraj were getting along quite well. After a while, it was lunchtime.

All the employees started sitting in groups. Some got up and went out.

Parul had only come today, she didn't know anything. Her eyes were still fixed on the laptop. Yuvraj snapped his fingers in front of her eyes and said,

"Hello, Miss Beautiful Parul, don't you want to eat?"

Parul looked around and then, seeing the atmosphere, said,

"Oh! It's lunch break, but I didn't bring anything, so..."

Yuvraj interrupted her, took her hand, and said,

"I didn't bring anything either. Come on, there's a canteen nearby which is personally for lazy people like us who can't get up in the morning to pack a tiffin."

Parul glanced at his hand. Yuvraj let go of her hand the next moment. Parul giggled.

Seeing her laugh, Yuvraj chuckled softly and said,

"You look even more beautiful when you laugh. Let's go now, the boss is very strict about time."

    Parul pouted and said,

"Don't ruin my mood by reminding me of him. Let's go."

Yuvraj nodded and started to leave with Parul.

Inside, Mahir was clenching the glass in his hand in anger. In a few moments, the glass shattered in his hand.

He squeezed his eyes shut and said,

    "Ram!!!"

The next moment, Ram stood before him, flustered.

"Change this Yuvraj kid's seat. No boy should be seated near this girl."

Ram's eyes showed surprise for a moment. When he didn't reply, Mahir shouted,

"Didn't you hear? What did I say?"

    Ram nodded and said,

"Yes... yes sir, I'll do it right away."

Mahir took a handkerchief from the drawer, wrapped it around his hand, and tied a tight knot so that no more blood would come out.

Then, he walked out of the cabin with brisk steps and went straight to the canteen where all the employees had their lunch. Some brought food from home, while others ate from the canteen.

Everyone was surprised to see Mahir there and started whispering amongst themselves.

"Sir Mahir has never come to the canteen before, so why today?"

Meanwhile, Mahir's eyes were searching for Yuvi and Parul, and soon his search was over as they were sitting at a corner table, enjoying lunch and talking to each other with laughter.

Parul said with a laugh, "I'm not lazy, I just came in a hurry today, so I didn't bring lunch. From tomorrow, I'll bring lunch for both of us."

Yuvraj said, laughing, "This is amazing! By the way, girlfriends often do such things for their boyfriends. So, should I take this as a hint from you?"

Parul narrowed her eyes and said, "Hey, I'm married!"

Yuvi made a small pout and said, "Oh, that's my bad luck... but I'm still your friend, right?"

Saying this, he laughed again, which made Parul laugh too.

Mahir was watching them from afar. He couldn't hear their conversation, but their smiling faces were clearly visible, and his fists clenched in anger once again.

Meanwhile, Parul hadn't seen him, but due to the sudden silence, her gaze also turned upwards, and seeing Mahir staring at her, she narrowed her eyes.

She was already angry with Mahir because of the morning, and now seeing him here, she was getting even more angry.

Meanwhile, as soon as Mahir saw that everyone was looking at him instead of eating, he said, almost shouting in anger, "Don't you all have an appetite that you're staring at me? Do I look like an alien to you all?"

Everyone nervously averted their gaze and quietly started eating their food.

Mahir, sitting at an empty table there, said, "One cold drink glass."

Saif, standing there, quickly nodded in affirmation and then brought a glass of chilled Coca-Cola for Mahir.

Because drinks were not allowed here.

Meanwhile, Yuvi nervously said softly to Parul, "The boss is a bit too fuming today."

And suddenly, a bell rang in Parul's mind. "Meaning, her husband is jealous seeing her with someone else." And suddenly, a smirk appeared on her lips.

    Evening 7 PM

Oberoi Corporation's working hours were over. All employees had left for home, and those who had to put in extra time were sitting at their desks.

Meanwhile, Parul had come out of the office, but she didn't have the courage to go and speak to Mahir about who she would go home alone with at night. She had come in the morning, but now going back was beyond her.

Moreover, she hadn't brought any money from home.

She was terribly worried when suddenly someone tapped her shoulder and said, "Oh Miss Parul, you're still standing here? Haven't your husband come to pick you up?"

Parul thought of Mahir, and her face filled with anger. Taking a deep breath, she said, "No, no, he's a little busy!"
